“Walpin vindicated, will demand job back”
“In June, the White House fired Gerald Walpin as Inspector-General of the Corporation for National and Community Service after he objected to an unusually-favorable settlement of fraud charges against a Barack Obama ally in Sacramento. The Obama administration insisted that Walpin got fired for instability and strongly hinted that Walpin was senile, but a series of actions against IGs seemed to show that Obama had decided to attack their independence. Yesterday, the IGs struck back by clearing Walpin of the White House’s allegations through their professional board, and now Walpin wants his job back:”
“Among the documents was an Oct. 19 letter from the Integrity Committee of the Council of the Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency telling him that the probe against him had been closed.
“After carefully considering the allegations described in the complaint together with your response, the IC determined that the response sufficiently and satisfactorily addressed the matter and that further inquiry or an investigation regarding the matter was not warranted,” committee Chairman Kevin L. Perkins wrote.”
“The entire matter revolves around Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and an earlier finding of fraud against him by the CNCS. Johnson admitted that federal funds got misused and had to repay over $400,000. Instead of barring Johnson from handling federal CNCS funds, which would have been the normal action but would have deprived Sacramento of those monies as long as Johnson was mayor, the White House overlooked it — and Walpin was determined to find out why.”
“For having the temerity to point out the obvious — that Johnson got favorable treatment because of his alliance with Obama — Walpin not only got fired, but also got slandered as non compos mentis when the White House decided to play The Chicago Way. Had someone in a private corporation tried that in an employment dispute, this administration’s EEOC would have leaped to Walpin’s defense, filing charges of age discrimination faster than one can say Geritol. Instead, Obama and his team decided to destroy Walpin for his independence as the first salvo against Inspectors General and independent review of executive power in the federal government.”

Well, Maddie I agree O’Reilly appears more conflicted than the other Fox folk. It’ll be interesting to see if it is him again to interview Obama. But they’re fighting for nuance, style, and maybe some substance. I would hope some substance. Like you don’t have to drive by my house and shoot bullets within target distance of my wife to let me know you don’t like what I’m doing, that kind of thing, small potatoes kind of thing.

It would be an understatement if I said Obama’s sense of the world is devastatingly distorted. But he is convinced of his superior intellect and beneficence. A true delusory state.
If it is true that he will not listen to his advisors, he will be sealing his own doom, and unfortunately many others along the way.
To continue let me clarify. I would be the last to support war, but this requires skillful consideration and strategy that has to be harnessed with mounds of experience, which of course Obama does not have. Tragic indeed, if true.

Have been watching Hanity & other programs. They are covering Vietnam Vets. It’s about time they did. My cousin died over there. He was only 19 years old & got hit by a land mine. I will never forget it. I was in the 6th grade. It had a big impact on our family. I always put a grave blanket on his grave, Richard Stewart, along with ones for my Mom, Dade & Nephew. Sigh…

I think it’s just that the subject matter was written during a time of sanity, much unlike today, and it is a classic tale of good versus evil. I noticed many similarities between the movie and the Iraq war.

I know Clinton has a different stance re: foreign policy. Here’s an excerpt from RCP.
It isn’t forgotten that foreign affairs were the major policy disputes between Clinton and Obama during the primary. She accused Obama of “being naive” about agreeing to unconditional meetings with leaders of Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, Syria and Cuba. She was — and is — a strong supporter of Israel and, during the campaign, was opposed to forcing Israel to freeze West Bank settlements unconditionally.
In April 2008, she was “deeply disturbed” by Russia’s move to strengthen links to the separatist regions of Georgia — Abkhazia and South Ossetia. At the time, she called on then-President George W. Bush to send a senior representative to Tbilisi to “show our support.” She also condemned Russia for engaging in a “pressure campaign to prevent Ukraine from seeking deeper ties with NATO.”
Regarding Iran, she favored immediate economic sanctions — last year. She threatened military force if necessary to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. She threatened Iran with nuclear annihilation if it used nuclear weapons on Israel.
This year, as each of those issues emerged, President Obama took a different approach. He had to reverse himself on the unconditional settlement freeze. He let the Russians invade Georgia and was slow to condemn them for it. Iran is pushing the United States (and the world) into a corner on its nuclear development. Israeli/Palestinian “peace” talks are about 98 percent of the way to complete failure of administration objectives.
O’s stance on Afghanistan may be a tipping point. We’ll have to see.

I am not sure anyone is interested, but I have before me a report my son wrote almost 10 years ago. His assignment was to interview or report about a veterans experience. Our family did not have anyone living to give an account, so he wrote his report on the following memory:
The following ficticious journal is what perhaps could have been the account of an actual person. That person was Lance Cpl. Richard C. Stewart and so, this journal is dedicated to him. He enlisted into the Marine Corps. at the age of 17/18 because he so admired his Uncle Cort. He enlisted before the US became actively involved in the Vietnam War. When he was given orders to deploy, he was unsure as to what he had gotten in to.
It is May of 1964. As I prepare to graduate from high school, I am wondering what I will do with my future. College does not appeal to me at this time & I am uncertain……

AZConservative was on; AZ is not an election fraud state BUT, as I reminded AZC, it is a vote binding state! And AZC looked up while we were in the chat; AZ HRC delegates switched illegally! So AZC is contacting the AG – I had sent a letter to him in August 2008 alerting him, BO’s people were in his state soliciting delegates to break the law – and a radio station in AZ.
We know the nomination was ultimately stolen for BO by eliminating the votes of HRC pledged delegates from vote binding states, like CA. It’s time to push the A’sG to go after this election fraud, either by exposing the qualified-candidate-on-the-ballot-law angle; or the vote binding state pledged delegate angle.

I do not wish to offend you in what I am about to say. It is only an observation based on my background in military understanding.
Again no offense, but I personally believe that while Hillary is a class 1 conniver, she still is Soetoro’s equal regarding military matters which =0. She simply doesn’t have the experience. This was a fault in Madeline Albright as well. A SOS needs a heavy exposure to both military understanding, and foreign policy experience. Each components are equally important. I believe she would make an excellent TOKYO ROSE!
To this layman Walpin looks like “the one” with standing to question Obama’s authority in a quo warranto action.

It is no longer enough to file a civil action against Soetoro, because even if it was successful in a US Court, Congress could override a court indictment.. There is no longer any upper classmen with the gonads to behave like men. Instead they whine, and stick their heads in the sand. Even most children DON”T behave like this. Today about 60 people, including Dr. (Rev.) Manning and Dr. Orly Taitz, showed up at the Fox News Station to protest O’Reilly’s “unfair and unbalanced” coverage of the Obama Birth Certificate Issue. O’Reilly has viciously attacked Orly on his show on a number of
occasions, without addressing the FACTS regardingwhy Obama has spent millions keeping his B.C. and other records sealed.
Bill O’Reilly’s producer came out and spoke to Orly, video taping her answers to his questions.
Hopefully in the future Mr. O’Reilly will be less inclined to attack Orly and the “Birther” movement without at least letting Orly present her/our side of the story.

I believe Walpin should sue, but for what? Defamation of character; his job; lost pay? All of the above, I think. However, even if he is reinstated, he will be marginalized by the powers that be IMHO. At his age, would it be worth it to continue? Maybe, oldsalt77 can answer that question.
Dobbs was stifled in his job; he had no other choice but to resign. He knows, over time, he will be less and less effective under the constraints of CNN. I do not believe he would take a job with FOX even if they offered him a gazillion dollars because he needs to be free of the MSM to effectively serve his followers. I agree with Peter; I think he should and will branch out on his own somewhere where the “powers that be” THINK he will not be harmful to their deception. Look at this map (link below) of the UN Biosphere (here in the US) and tell me if you think there is a similarity in how they’re broken up.
Most people aren’t aware of the UN Biosphere “deal.” Alex Jones made a film about it long long ago. I viewed it last year. He made it a road trip and took a film crew. He has film footage of the UN logo on the same sign posts to our National parks/reserves. He was repeatedly asked to turn off the cameras and leave in all the national parks when he began questioning them about the signage. Later the govt had removed the UN signage – but the biosphere “deal” remains in place with most folks unaware of it and what it means.

Chairman Landesman’s claim that Yosi Sergant, the former NEA Communications Director, acted “unilaterally” on the controversial August 10th conference call is not only beginning to erode, but new documents obtained by Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act show that another federal employee thought the arts effort was entering murky legal waters.
In an email dated July 30, 2009, Nellie Abernathy, a representative of the federal program United We Serve, sent an email to Sergant to inquire of his interest in attending a meeting regarding 9/11 events – the culmination day of the United We Serve campaign. In the email Abernathy states (emphasis added):
“Just got off the phone with [redacted]. They’re interested in helping produce some 9/11 events and will be in DC next week. Any chance you could join us for a meeting Tuesday morning? Or does this fall into that sketchy grey we might get arrested area?”
Sergant responded, “I’d love to.”
The subject of the email correspondence was entitled “rock the vote,” which presumably should have been redacted (blacked out) in the subject line given that the organization is a non-government group and the other subject lines in the email chain were redacted.
Readers following this story may recall that Rock the Vote was a presenter on the controversial August 10th conference call that encouraged an arts group that worked on Obama’s election campaign to create art on issues that were being vehemently debated nationally; including health care, energy, and the environment.
