Jon Corzine, NJ governor Corzine, Obama campaigning, The Corzine Times, Tax plan, Property taxes, Corzine budget, Corzine’s shady investments

New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine has been constantly in the news because of  the tight race with Republican Christie and repeated Obama campaign visits to shore up Obama’s image and influence. However, there is a lot of information about Corzine’s record on taxes, shady investments and ties to corruption figures.

The Corzine Times is a website devoted to covering stories about NJ Governor Corzine.

“The Failed Join Corzine 2005 Tax Plan… How many broken promises do you count?”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/tax-plan-unveiled/

“The state, with the highest property taxes in the nation, is home to six of the nation’s 10 most expensive counties, according to the Tax Foundation, a nonprofit group that analyzed Census data released this week.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/jerseyans-are-pinched-hardest-to-pay-property-taxes/

“Gov. Jon Corzine has a stake in a private hedge fund related to the corporate owner of four New Jersey casinos. The Corzine hedge fund is TPG-Axon, while its founder is Texas Pacific Group (TPG). They share the same address and some of the same people as well as the same name.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/576/

“The bi-state agency formed to combat corruption within the New York and New Jersey ports became riddled with abuse — misusing federal Homeland Security funding, hiring unqualified cops, and allowing convicted felons to get jobs. In a scathing 67-page report, the New York Inspector General said the Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor had failed in its duties.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/waterfront-commission-officials-accused-of-corruption/

“Michael Madonna… symbolizes just about everything that was wrong with the waterfront commission. His conflicts of interest were rampant.”

“And we would like to know how he held on to it until last week, despite the fact that much of the top staff of the failed agency, including his New York counterpart, were gone last year. New top officials have been brought in and sweeping reforms have been put in place.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/why-did-corzine-reappoint-michael-madonna-to-the-waterfront-commission/

“Jon Corzine won the governorship of New Jersey four years ago pledging to bring needed change to a state defined by corruption and the highest property taxes in the country.

And four years later, things did change. The state’s Democratic political establishment became more corrupt than ever and its tax burdens heavier than before, in part due to a pay-to-play culture of corruption the governor did little if anything to combat and a bunch of new fees and taxes Mr. Corzine enacted in the midst of the recession.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/weeding-out-the-garden-state/

“The state’s $28.6 billion budget, which could be approved by the Legislature as early as today, includes an estimated $75 million to be raised from a tax increase on health and dental plans.”

http://www.corzinetimes.com/budget-hikes-taxes-on-healthcare/

With corruption ties, tax hikes and ruining the economy, Jon Corzine looks like Obama’s kind of guy.

  4. CW,

    Corzine is on the F.R.E.E. list I posted the link to earlier. A member or could be attendee of Bilderberg.

    Listed under former U.S. Senators. Is it any wonder “O” and others are pushing for him?

    I recently received a letter from BO (paid for by the Democrat party of my state). Maybe I have a weird sense of humor, but I thought the following sentence was really funny, especially given BO’s support of Gov. Corzine in NJ:

    “We simply cannot afford to go back to the old style of failed politics that puts Wall Stree greed ahead of Main Street values, leaving behind massive budget deficits while shortchanging our priorities.”

    Question for ya, BO: where do you think Gov. Corzine made his many millions of $? And “massive budget deficits”? What in the world does BO think he’s been doing since he took office? Massive budget deficits on steroids, that’s what. LOL!

    Gotcha, JustMe, and I agree.

    I work in a health-related field and still, they go for the shots like sheeples; parents are having their kids injected, as are pregnant women. Anything a pregnant woman takes into her system during those 9 months certainly does have an effect on the baby…look at smoking, drug and alcohol use. This vaccine is no exception,

    I asked a colleague today why she opted for the shot and her answer was that even though she heard what I was telling her, she ‘feels better having it.’ HUH?

    The issue, as I see it, is that people trust their local hospitals, boards of health, other healthcare providers, as well as the gubmint, to act in their best interests. Nothing could be further than the truth!

    When I ask people if they know what’s about to be injected into their bodies, I get a blank stare.

    The gubmint has done an excellent job of dumbing down America, and if you trust what they say, I feel for you.

    Yes, the flu does have its risks, but so does the vaccine. Pregnant women need to realize this, make an informed decision, and not head over the cliff with the rest of the brainwashed public.

    But, I digress.

    I just don’t understand how people can blindly trust like this, especially when the facts are right there for them to see with a little research.

    Yup, the gubmint is looking out for us alright…..

    did you read about the recent situation in Ukraine? I posted a couple of links over the weekend about this.

    It’s interesting how some are making the connection with this different/unique more virulent strain to Dr. Joseph Moshe. Remember the red Volkswagon chase in Calif?

    Supposedly the WHO, who has sent a team to Ukraine to investigate, are denying the numbers reported. Uh huh?! There were something like 40,000 infected in 10 days time. A number of health care personnel died – including a few docs.

  43. JS–Don’t you remember when Limbaugh told everyone to vote for Hillary in the primaries ?
    He credited himself for her popularity rise.
    His reasoning was I believe that the radicals would get behind Obama, and he thought that Hillary would be easier to beat. Almost daily, Limbaugh would promote Hillary. It was amazing. Anyway, I know that Rush voted for McCain (as I did in the end). But it was fun while Limbaugh pulled it off.
    Yes, I saw the Wallace interview also. Wasn’t it good—I actually enjoyed the ques. and the answers. Both sides were super, imho. Limbaugh’s candor was good; he was very calm, too, I thought. Looked like they both enjoyed themselves—-the way America’s politics should be—not wacko stuff.

    Gotta love this too…..Sarah Palin responds to Biden’s stupid A$$ remarks about the country’s energy independence…..he brought Palin’s name into so she let him have it and good!!!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Response to Vice President Biden’s Comments Today About My Position On Energy Independence
    Today at 10:12am
    As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs.
    The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”
    This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.
    There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!
    – Sarah Palin
    Thanks for the responses – I talked to her and she was relieved. She didn’t want to take it but wasn’t sure of the risks for the baby if she didn’t. She said she took her little boy to the pediatrician last week for ear infection and they were not pushing the seasonal or H1N1 for him and her Ob/Gyn was not pushing it either. She already had it in her mind not to take it but like I said just wanted to know the risks. She says to thank you all for the helpful info.
He looks very healthy and a lot happier.
  56. JustMe,
    My professional work keeps me hopping, so I stay on the blog as often as I can; I’m fine. Thanks for asking.
    To answer your question, if you recall my reaction to Israel doing an about face on attacking Iran, this acquienscence on Clinton’s part is in keeping with this. I still believe there has been a change in strategy where Iran is concerned. However, I firmly believe this is not making Obama happy, one of the reasons he’s stressed.
    BTW, Jacqlyn all of what you say is possibly true about Obama’s medical status, but he could have lost weight some time ago and didn’t. If you noticed he is ascetic in his food consumption, which means that when things are acute for him, food is the last thing on his mind. IMO, his weight loss is significant in what it reveals about his state of mind. There are things of course, like cocaine, but consumption of that usually goes up with stress, which again contributes to weight loss.
  57. Maddie-It is almost time for you to put your foot down, this is in their best interests whether they realize it or not and unless you’re super-human it is not good for you either. Maybe you could explain to them first and possibly get a family friend or relative to visit after a week to reinforce what you said.
  58. JustMe,
    Also I wanted to say you’re doing great investigative work. The info you post is very important. Wonder if you and anyone else has seen this:
  60. Venice,
    yes, I do recall your reaction and thought this may be your response. Thanks.
    I thought the statement “O” made about his being surprised at people making a big deal about his NY date night was telling. He’s not able to shrug things off so easily as he pretends.
  61. Al Gore was just on the news – he looks really good he dropped a lot of weight– the last time I saw him his face looked very swollen. Whether you agree with him or not, he explained his position in a literate fashion, as opposed to Obama who speaks some language that the issue makes no sense.
    I think part of the “drill baby drill” issue is people have in their minds when they would go in and rape the Earth, it is restored now, when they leave. Somewhat like they are sins of the past…I think they need to stress how the land is used when they are finished with the project. I’m going to see if I can find anything on Google.
  62. Venus,
    I haven’t seen the info on rupubx but will take a look at it. Thanks.
  63. JustMe,
    The difficulty with his genre of narcissism is that nothing can be shrugged off. For example, he couldn’t just say, of course the American public is upset, they’re going hungry and we’re living it up. He could say that and accept it for what it is.
    Instead, all accusations hurt deeply….it means he’s not adored, no one wishes him well, the people should be happy for him bc he’s so great and on and on. It’s a curse for him, and it is what will bring him down.
  72. MORE FLU NEWS:
    40 foreign law students attending a Romanian Convention are hospitalized with med/severe forms of H1N1. This is 40 out of 240 attendees and as the article suggests represent a high attack rate.
    snipped from:
    http://www.recombinomics.com/News/11020901/Romania_Convention.html
  73. From what I have read re: H1N1 flu, the mortality rates thus far are the same or less than the seasonal flu.
    On the assumption (and that’s a big assumption) that the N1N1 has not undergone mutations to become more virulent (or that a Ukraine lab has not introduced a different strain), the type of illness between H1N1 and the seasonal flu are different.
    H1N1 attacks the lung tissue proper, meaning that death often results for ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome), or that complications are associated with ADRS, eg. pneumonia. Therefore while mortality is not greater, the manner in which the illness behaves, causes a different kind of illness which can include death.
    This is a letter from Dr. Orly’s private investigator sent to the Judge today. Using a false ss# is a felony as we know-can he be arrested today? I don’t know how many years this goes back, many as far as I know, how many counts, each time he used it? If he gets arrested on one ss#, does it open for all, to see what they all were used for?
    The Honorable Judge David O. Carter
    Ronald Reagan Federal Building and U. S. Courthouse
    411 West 4th Street
    Santa Ana, CA 92701-4516
    Dear Judge Carter:
    I am the private investigator who contacted Dr. Orly Taitz when I found that Barack Obama has been using a bogus social security number for years, which is a felony. I have been a licensed investigator for almost fifteen years and recognized it immediately as fraudulent.
    If you had allowed Discovery and required the SSA to release his alleged application for that number (and I do not believe such an application exists), you would have realized it, too. Numbers are issued to a person in the state where they are living. Between 1977-79 when it was issued, he was living in Hawaii not Connecticut.
    I now realize that you always intended to dismiss the case, because that’s what you were ordered to do. You have bartered your integrity for a lofty position and a hefty pension. Shame on you.
    The men and and women in the military will continue to die under the direction of someone who is not entitled to hold the position of Commander in Chief and who is nothing more than a Chicago thug with questionable loyalties.
    Semper Fi? I think not.
  78. Hi Maddie,
    Prayers for you, your Dad and family. Thinking of you.
  79. Maddie,
    Sorry to hear about your dad. If you haven’t already, you might find a way to alert him to the fact that what happened today outside the doctor’s office, could happen any time. This time he was lucky to have you and others in the office there. What would he do if he were alone.
  80. Alrighty then…Doing my usual search… What do I want to be when I grow up…Nothing like starting over at … FBI ? 1. Be U.S. Citizen 2. Be available to serve in all 56…. 3. Ok State Senate it is.. straight to the top… Do I need a Law degree first? We need to rid all Lawyers from Goverment, and Health Care.. Tort reform.
  81. venice // November 2, 2009 at 8:48 pm
    Hi Venice,
    Right you are…H1N1 takes a completely different approach than seasonal flu. It also targets a completely different age group from what we’re used to seeing each winter.
    My latest info is that the bug has not yet mutated; the mortality rates seem to be tied, for the most part, to the socio-economic status of an area, and the medical care available.
    I work with a Microbiologist who’s actually from Ukraine. She’s checking with relatives over there to see if she can find out what the local buzz is.
    Let’s remember that Baxter is over there; where Baxter goes, illness follows.
  82. JustMe // November 2, 2009 at 5:44 pm
    Hi JustMe,
    Yes, I see it. I’m really not sure we can believe anything the WHO has to say.
    Dr. Moshe was spot on; we never did find out what happened to him, did we? Some reports said that he was in jail in the U.S.; other reports were that he’d been deported to Israel.
    What they’re doing over there with bugs is anybody’s guess.
    I just look at the number of research scientists who have mysteriously died-the numbers are high-too high to be ignored.
  83. Hi SueK,
    Let me guess, the lower the socioeconomic status, the higher the morbidity and mortality.
    Super secret egg farms…hmmm. I just wonder how they’re growing those eggs, don’t you?
    Just an aside, here. Vaccines have been made the same way (chix eggs) for a very long tine. There’s gotta be a better way; this is a painfully slow process and I’m sure someone is working out a way to speed up the process.
    Until then, I suppose it’s the chix!
  88. Hi, Maddie:
    So sorry to hear about your father. Hope that he will be okay. Oh, assisted living is great. Our granny who was in her late 90s just loved that place. At first she didn’t want to leave her home, which is understandable, but she had dementia and had to because she would have blown herself up trying to heat her house with propane heaters. We had family members across the street walk over to her house and caught her turning on the heater without lighting it.
    But she did wonderful in an assisted living place and had tons of friends there. Great food, too! We had gone there to eat with her several times. It was food fit for a king. She also had a privacy at times, that is, if she wished it. However, she loved the company and was the gal about town, so to speak. Just so sociable, it even helped her dementia a lot.
  89. Margie,
    I learned the same thing when I was in school, High school civics; though then it was no in the textbook, had to ask my teacher and it took him a week of looking in older books…
    now if we could only find old copies of High School civics books with the NBC definition in them…that would be a find…
    Any educators out there?
    Right, the FluMist doesn’t contain Thimerosal (mercury) however, it is live (although weakened) virus, so it’s not recommended for pregnant women. There are other restrictions on it so it’s not for everyone.
  92. Sue K,
    I have only be able to find that Dr. Moshe was released from jail and deported. He held dual citizenships. Are you familiar with Jane Burgermeister’s lawsuit against Baxter? I think I gave you the link to her site. A noted and well respected journalist, she was fired from her job shortly after filing her suit.
  93. Michelle // November 2, 2009 at 8:53 pm
    Michelle,
    This is a great letter and I’m glad it’s being sent.
  96. kittycat // November 2, 2009 at 9:07 pm
    Hey Kitty,
    You’ve got that right!
    Too many ‘mistakes’ that shouldn’t have happened. If you’ve ever worked in a lab (I have) there’s no reason for this stuff to happen. Good scientists don’t make mistakes like this; they can, however, make ‘intentional mistakes’ and try to cover it up.
    Baxter seems to be pretty adept at doing that.
  97. JustMe // November 2, 2009 at 9:25 pm
    Right, JustMe, and there were conflicting reports as to where he was, and even if Dr. Moshe was the same man arrested that day in the red Bug; I saw several photos of the arrested Dr. Moshe and the scientist Dr. Moshe and I can’t say with certainty that it was the same man.
    Yes, I know about Jane’s case and am following it; I’m sorry she lost her job in the process but she probably expected that. She has stones of steel to pursue this and is calling out Baxter for everything that’s happened. This will be a landmark case against this Pharma giant, and I’m hoping with everything I’ve got that it goes forward. Harming people for profit and systematically removing them from the planet is unconscionable!
  104. The other day I read that Madonna, in her ever so generous way is now building an all girl’s school in an African country, the name I can’t recall at present.
    This is no different than what Oprah has done and Gates and Soros, you know send money to charity. It seems once you reach a level of wealth, one doesn’t quite know what to do with one’s time, except of course to figure out what to do with what you have (or don’t).
    Many don’t conern themselves with what the truly wealthy do with their time, but seriously have you ever stopped to think? How many houses, cars, planes, antiques can a person have before they start looking elsewhere.
    This is what plagues the financial oligarchy of our times. They talk about the world like it was a chess board, wondering how they can outmanoevre the other. And yet there is so much important work that can never be done singularily with money. It requires human toil, perseverance, courage, ingenuity and moral reserve.
    I wish Madonna could go back to school and learn a skill that the world truly needs. She might then be contributing something of substance.. As for the oligarchs, it seems too late for them.
    I apologize for my ramblings.
  113. JustMe // November 2, 2009 at 9:33 pm
    Ya, JustMe…Biostitutes. Priceless!
    For once in my life, I can actually say that I agree with a Kennedy.
    Just to confirm what he said about reports and falsifying data: I come from the wonderful world of Biotech and I’ve seen this first hand. At one of my companies, Principal Investigators (PAs) were directed to falsify clinical trial data to show that the drug/medical device worked when actually, it didn’t. Clinical trials take a lot of time (years) and megabucks to accomplish, and the CEOs of these companies were not about to have all that time and money flushed down the hopper, so they ‘created’ good results. What the public never heard about was how many people the drug or device harmed in the process. This company I worked for falsified data, and the benefactor (a national company you’d know) who was sponsoring them with millions of dollars pulled all the funding and my company was out of business the next day. Of course, the rank and file employees never knew what was going on.
    Unfortunately, this is how it goes, so I do believe what RFK, Jr. has to say, and he’s 100% right about the Thimerosal, IMO.
    Sad, isn’t it?
  121. SueK re: Susan Daniels letter to the Judge. Don’t they always say on TV the lawyer is an “officer of the court” so Susan is a licensed private investigator who is licensed by courts. She has knowledge of a crime, so she is doing what she is required to do by law. I think she did all she could do, she advised the Judge re: a felonious crime. Let me know what you think.
  133. Joyceaz,
    I think Zach’s question might be the most important right now. I agree, see if you can get the name of the case.
  134. I assumed most know about this case, but I guess not.
  135. JustMe,
    At a guess, they are intimately linked. Once you have control of health care, you have pretty much control of a person’s life and every decision they make. It’s a must to advance a NWO.
  145. Kim,
    Generally the most serious complications come up early, in the first few days, so it sounds like you’re very sick but safe.
  146. Hey, Maddie, we’ve been there where you’re standing right now. And honestly, it is an extremely difficult decision because you have to put yourself in their shoes, which could be right around the corner for every one of us in the time to come. Hopefully they will still have assisted living centers and not assisted death centers when we get there.
    It’s hard telling someone that they have to leave their home. Home is where you really do hang your heart! But many times the elderly find so many friends there because honestly, it can get so lonely when you’re elderly. You miss being out when you can get out, you miss visits of young folks, family visits, then most of all, friends your age. So there’s good things about it. The elderly need friends in a big way, I guess, just like the rest of us but maybe even more so.
    Before Granny went to live in assisted living, I was staying with her half-days. I would work half a day, then stay with her when I got off at around 12 noon, sometimes it was like 11:30. During those hours, the home health people came and checked up on her, bathed her, etc. and visited with her. Sometimes they were still there when I got there. Granny loved their visits because she loved to talk and got lonely. The rest of the time when I was there, I would help her clean a little bit, fix her lunch or help her when the people came to deliver her meals on wheels, then most of all we visited the rest of the day until I had to leave around 5:00, 5:30.
  147. joyceaz,
    I was wondering the same about Bachmann’s high noon. Good for you for making the effort.
  148. Michelle,
    Thanks for posting SD’s letter. I’m glad she sent it. I knew there was a highly questionable SS#
    that had already been identified. Hope this makes an impact with Judge Carter—it’s the law.
  149. Maddie-I just remembered something 2 different friends of mine, when their children turned 18 they went to work in 2 different assisted living facilities-one a boy, one a girl. Surprise the kids LOVED the jobs. They loved the “old” people and had a blast with them. After my girlfriends daughters wedding, she and the entire entourage had to go the the facility because she promised the people that they would come. Nowadays those places that seemed so much like prisons are more open and that’s a good thing. Mix up all the ages as much as you can.
  150. Hi Kittycat,
    Thank you for your description about how your granny and you handled the situation of growing old and having more needs on a day-to-day basis. It sounds like your granny had (or should I say has) a good outlook on life and new adventures (Assisted Living and accepting help).
    It was wonderful that she had you to co-ordinate everything everyday. I’m glad to hear that people do like the A. L. setting and make friends and having good food sure doesn’t hurt either! I’m hoping my parents come around. My dad definately needs the change of environment and trained help that comes with it. Thanks Kittycat. Your words help. Maddie.
  151. Michelle // November 2, 2009 at 10:21 pm
    Agreed, Michelle, but I’m not sure if she’s an attorney, too? If so, she would indeed be an officer of the court.
    Yes, she does have knowledge (and the proof!) that a crime has been committed.
    Let’s see what, if anything, Carter does with it. This is all uncharted territory!
  152. Maddie–I just happen to come on after being off for quite a few days. Sorry to learn about your father. My prayers for all of you, especially that God will give your father and mother the grace to accept a move so they can be safe…and, for your sake, so you will have some peace of mind in their regard. God bless you.
    All–Sorry, my time is very limited right now. Will be on when I can. Thanks again for all your prayers.
  153. Venice,
    over the weekend I listened to an Internet radio broadcast of someone new to me.
    What he had to say was quite interesting, though I was struggling with the flow of his information…obviously in his head it all made perfect sense.
    Nonetheless he was tracking the healthcare bill/reform back to what will ultimately be decided & implemented at Copenhagen.
    He said social influences will influence the ability to get healthcare – euro style socialism – which we know. He also indicated the healthcare bill was a diversion to what will be decided in Copenhagen.
    He briefly touched on the case of the constitutionality of the healthcare reform. He referenced an historical case US vs Comstock challenging congressional authority.
    There’s more that he covered that would be of interest, but I have to find my notes and decipher them so as to post perhaps tomorrow.
    I think you would be interested in his broadcast. He’s only on Sunday. I had alerted you this past Sunday, taking a chance you’d see it, though I knew your focus was on the healthcare bill.
    Profound & moving what he said at the end and quoting an inscription at the base of the ruins (i believe):
    We have to stand as the Mayans did. “We lost our sun, our energy – we had to move to another planet”…when you’re ready and you have to get off your planet you’ll figure a way to do it. We have to change mentally the way we look at things. We have to get another way to live on this planet and we need a plan to do it.
  156. Michelle,
    I’m glad you wrote—yes, mix up the ages is a theory I believe in as well. I know they want to see the baby of the family (5 yr. old now)—they keep toys at their house for him. So, strange as it
    may be, I will see that the toys go to Assisted L. also for when he visits (and he would love running up and down the halls—but maybe not a good idea—but could play in other common areas). I think they’ll come around. I’m excited because they’d be much closer to me, and I’m going to set up the decorating, etc. and plan some craft projects for my mom. I think it will be fun for everyone—like being on “vacation.”
  157. Kim,
    Have you tried the honey and apple cider vinegar? If not SueK has the exact dosage.
    I’ve been putting it on bread (about a tablespoon
    of each) and do that about every 2-3 hours.
    It has kept me from full blown illness so far.
  158. The South, I have some (colloidal silver) sitting on the counter but am scared to try it after SueK had a bad reaction to it!
  159. Kim // November 2, 2009 at 10:52 pm
    Hey Kim,
    Sorry to read that you and your son are down.
    If it were me, I’d increase the D to 5,000-8,000 I.U.s and have someone pick up some Sambucol, honey and organic apple cider vinegar. Tylenol or whatever you take as a fever reducer.
    That should help. Please feel better, you two!
  160. Maddie,
    It was my husband’s granny, but she was like a grandmother that I never had. I never knew my grandparents as they were deceased. Well, except for my maternal grandfather who I got to know when I was young. He was nice, but he was always very ill.
    Our Granny passed away in 1999. She was 97. I got to take care of her for a while at her home, but then later, that’s when she went to assisted living before she got too bad. Then after a year or so, we took her in and she just had become so much worse with her dementia. It’s sad, but she got to where she didn’t know who we were most of the time and it was hard to get her to take her meds, then to get her to eat. Well, unfortunately she had to go to a nursing home, where she only lived a few more months. We hated losing her, but at that point she needed professional help. Also at that point, she really didn’t know all the grandkids, period, and great-grandchildren. Mentally she was back on the farm with PawPaw, which at the time was about 50+ years previously. Well, when she was there, she was happy, though.
    Regardless, I wouldn’t have given up the time spending with her. My husband and I after we were first married, would sit on her front porch late at night during the summertime and tell stories. She had some goodies from the olden days when she was a little girl out on the farm. She would just wear us young folks out talking and talking and talking and we’d say, Granny, it’s 1:00 a.m., time for bed! Haahaa!
    Then years ago she and I would sit and crochet together or sew. Later in life she couldn’t do it any longer because her hands would shake so badly. Well, we had a good time.
  161. Venice,
    forgot to include this in what Dr. Parker said…indications are everything is moving away from U.S. to U.N. – we see this loud and clear in this “pandemic” with the WHO calling the shots and “O’s” appointment to the U.N. – a first.
  162. twe—thank you for your posting thoughts and
    Iwould like to know how your mother is doing.
    She is in my prayers as well. God bless and thank you. Take care. Maddie.
  166. Kittycat,
    What wonderful memories you shared. It is remarkable that your granny made it to 97!
    Isn’t it amazing how older folks remember the past so clearly and have trouble with recent events?
    Thanks Kittycat, you’re the best.
  167. Kim.
    SueK had a Herxheimer reaction because the silver was attacking and killing her virus. It’s basically flu like symptoms, which is pretty much what you’re more than likely experiencing now?
    I guess it’s something everyone has to weigh out themselves. You can fight the flu/virus and hope it goes away, or you can take the silver and kill it in it’s tracks.
    At least you know as a last resort, if you’re on your death bed, you can always take the silver.
    It might make you feel bad for a day, but atleast you know there’s a magic bullet if you need it.
  168. I just emailed Rep Trent Franks.
    I asked him about that court case in regards to the Administration and Democrats doing things that are un-Constitutional. I also asked him how he felt about Michelle Bachmans high noon party at the Capital on Thursday.
    I asked him why the Supreme Court of the Land would turn its back on the Constitution and not listen to “WE THE PEOPLE”/ why would anyone spend 1.6 million $ on hiding his records if he didn’t have anything to hide. I told him that we have been asking that question for many months without an answer.
    I asked him to help us save of country from this fraud in the whitehouse.
    I know I will hear back,… but it may take a few weeks. I will post it as soon as I get it.
  169. Kim,
    Do you have a temp?
    Yes, please let us know either way. We are
  175. Maddie–thank you for your prayers. My mother is better this week. Last week, she was not too well again…sleeping, or near sleeping, for about three days. I had to drop water into her mouth to keep her hydrated. She ate very little. Now, she is better and alert and eating well again. We went through the same sort of thing the week before. She doesn’t know my name but knows my face. Last night, she didn’t know my father’s name, until I tried a different variation of it. Tonight, she knows his name. We never really know how it is going to be from one day to the next. Thank you again for your concern.
  176. Well, Maddie, it was because of her dementia, which is similar to Alzheimer’s, I think. It’s not the same thing, but causes some of the same type of problems.
    A friend of mine, his mother had Alzheimer’s and it is just so strange. She was always kind of thin in her weight, but when she was in the nursing home, family would come and bring her food and she’d eat. Well, she was putting on weight and the family didn’t know why. Turns out she was eating dinner at the NH, then the family brought her food a little while later and she had forgotten that she ate. So she was eating double the amount of normal.
    Then she had smoked for many, many years. The Alzheimer’s had made her forget that she smoked. I’ll tell you what, though, you don’t want either dementia or Alzheimer’s. She really did forget her family and most everything else. At least Granny could remember her past, even though she kind of lived in it most of the time before she passed away. And Granny was a very strong lady, small, but extremely strong. Up in her mid-90s, she was taking walks and maybe walking 2 miles per day on some days. It’s just her mind was gone.
  177. JustMe 11:18pm
    Did note your post and I will get to it soon. As for the U.N., yes it appears that increasingly that is where the centre of power will be, is hasn’t been for some time already. Though it seems for now that China is not a big player with the U.N. China is the country to keep an eye, bc of their economic strength. The Chinese are also very patient people.
    This is why I’m not sure the U.N. will yield as much power as they would like.
    We have to get away as much as possible from trying to establish where absolute power exists. Yes is a hierarchy of levels, with different players, but that is a changing dynamic that can be influenced with little short notice.
    My ideas currently are that the BRIC countries are forming a wall of resistance against as Tarpley refers to the Anglo-American oligarchy. I haven’t read that anywhere, just my thinking.
    There is a third entity forming its own resistance and that is the Islamo-Fascist group. Everybody wants a NWO, but on their terms. The question is who is Obama really aligned with. My guess is not Anglo-American, but he Islamo-Fascist. This is why I think things are not going well for him. Again this is too simplified, but it’s a start. Any ideas?
  178. SueK–
    SD is a licensed P.I. in Ohio–that’s what she’s told me when I’ve spoken to her–no mention about being an attorney though I didn’t ask that question.
  179. The South,
    The silver has knocked out “stuff” for me & my family a couple of times already. I take it along with Olive Leaf Extract and all the other supplements talked about here.
    Before I had the Silver, I experienced the same thing with Olive Leaf Extract. There’s a place locally that offers it in a custom liquid formulation. Otherwise you can buy the tincture yourself and create your own. I don’t take the caps/tablets – not as immediate effect IMHO.
    Google it, for those unfamiliar, you’ll be surprised.
    My husband researched the Olive Leaf (and the Silver) and was very surprised & delighted. It’s his first Rx for me if I’m starting to feel a bit yucky.
  180. Ok, the South, I’ll try a couple of drops…I don’t want to wait until I’m on my death bed!!!
  181. Kim,
    If you were on your way to your death bed, you wouldn’t be posting on this blog. I know you have a real dandy, but it sounds like you’ll pull out of this. If you get too frightened it will aggravate your condition. Try to calm down.
  182. Kittycat,
    That is fascinating. There are some similarities here I think. My mom is very small (thin–finally got her up to 103-105 fully dressed with shoes and that is up from 90). She can walk pretty well, too, but does have a little balance problem going on. I told her she’d get better exercise at A.L., too. They have a talking path around the facility and a wooded area on the side with a big courtyard in the middle at the back. I know dementia has set in for both of them. It is scary.
  183. Kim–I would follow SueK’s advice. Every time I sneeze, or am next to someone who does, or coughs, or evidences some sign of illness, I take another high dose D3. So far, so good, thanks be to God.
  184. JustMe, glad you’re using the Silver!
    Kim, put a few teaspoons under your tongue, and hold it there for a few minutes, then swallow it.
    Take the Silver like that a few times a day (3-4) or if you really want to knock the virus out quick, breathe it through a nebulizer.
    Breathing the silver gets it in your bloodstream immediately, and will kill the Influenza virus quick.
    Good luck!
  185. Kim,
    keep up that honey, too. I’m eating more than necessary, but it is helping a lot.
    I hit the anti-ocidents like blueberries, cherries, dark fruits in general, green tea, and I do GatorAde also. Hope you feel better soon.
    Stay hydrated.
  186. Venice,
    I think you are spot on. But, as you say it changes daily – just to keep us on our toes & throw us off.
    As important as the focus is on the healthcare bill, I think/hope perhaps it can be taken care of in the courts. Not holding my breath, though. I also have a little confidence in the state’s being able to resist this dictate at our behest. Maybe just wishful thinking….
    Copenhagen and state’s sovereignty are the two areas that need our immediate attention.
    Alex said today in a voice/tone very similar to Glenn Beck today…time is running out quickly. They both know 45 days is all we really have left to stop this thing. Alex more verbose & specific than Beck’s warning of the rain is coming and it’s time to build an arc. Lindsey Williams on his DVD’s was brought to tears. It’s almost too much to witness.
    My eyes are crossing. Will write more tomorrow.
    It’s good to be able to have this exchange with you.
  187. twe—thank you for the update on your mother.
    It sounds like she is doing better. Your care is definately helping I’m sure. She is lucky to have you. I’m glad to hear that eating has picked up—that is always an issue. Take care and send our best to your mom from us here on the blog.
    Best, Maddie.
  188. Venice, I was being sarcastic because the South was so dire…I keep my sense of humor no matter how sick I am! 🙂
  189. good night all, you guys are always great.
    Luv ‘ya all, Maddie.
  190. Thanks, everyone for all the good advice!
  191. Maddie and kittycat–on top of the Parkinsons, my mother also has dementia. My father has Alzheimers, which is a type of dementia. I’ll take the straight up dementia over Alzheimers any day. They both rob the mind and memory, but Alzheimers is really devastating. Although my mother has dementia, she can still follow a complex argument–in the moment–but is not able to tell you about it two minutes later. She can follow discourses in different languages, etc, as well. Besides the decreased mental capacity, my father has judgment issues, and anger issues. He will tell you right is left and left is right and is convinced he just told you the opposite. He argues against us and against himself. He sometimes literally doesn’t know enough to come in out of the rain unless it’s pouring out. He won’t dress warmly enough for cold weather. The list is near endless. Good thing he isn’t driving anymore. I love both of them dearly…but, oh my! This stuff does a number on folks.
  192. JustMe-LM @ 11:36 pm
    re: Healthcare Terrorist Bill
    and that would make those who initiated it, sponsored it, and are trying to shove it through Congress Terrorists (by extension) take that Nancy Pelosi.
  193. Just a little note: Vitamin D3 only supports the immune system, it DOES NOT kill any viruses.
    Jasmine, Fruit berries, the yellow rose of Texas, maple leaves, ginger root, garlic, green leaf extract, honey, vitamin E, alfalfa sprouts, leprechan eggs, frog hair, white willow extract, Korean bonzai root of ginseng extract, or a brand new set of Michelin snow tires.
    WILL NOT KILL VIRUSES!
    Colloidal Silver attacks the oxygen supply of the virus and kills it, dead ……. DEAD! No second chances, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00.
    DEAD!
    All these backyard, ginger root and honey concoctions, will not kill the H1N1.
    Take the Colloidal Silver to kill the virus, and take the other to support the immune system.
    Peace
    Know the Symptoms of the H1N1 Flu and a Cold
    THIS IS A KEEPER (print it out and pass it on).
    H1N1 flu is about to be upon us and we need to be on top of information regarding it.
    Here is a comparison of H1N1 to normal cold symptoms.
    Symptom
    Cold
    H1N1 Flu
    FEVER
    Fever is rare with a common cold.
    Fever is usually present with the flu in up to 80% of all flu cases. A temperature of 100°F or higher for 3 to 4 days is associated with the flu.
    COUGHING
    A hacking, productive (mucus- producing) cough is often present with a cold.
    A non-productive (non-mucus producing) cough is usually present with the flu (sometimes referred to as dry cough).
    ACHES
    Slight body aches and pains can be part of a cold.
    Severe aches and pains are common with the flu.
    STUFFY NOSE
    Stuffy nose is usually present with a cold and typically resolves spontaneously within about a week.
    Stuffy nose is not commonly present with the flu.
    CHILLS
    Chills are uncommon with a cold.
    60% of people who have the flu experience chills.
    TIREDNESS
    Tiredness is fairly mild with a cold.
    Tiredness is moderate to severe with the flu.
    SNEEZING
    Sneezing is commonly present with a cold.
    Sneezing is not common with the flu.
    SUDDEN SYMPTOMS
    Cold symptoms tend to develop over a few days.
    The flu has a rapid onset within 3-6 hours. The flu hits hard and includes sudden symptoms like high fever, aches and pains.
    HEADACHE
    A headache is fairly uncommon with a cold.
    A headache is very common with the flu, and is present in 80% of flu cases.
    SORE THROAT
    Sore throat is almost always present with a cold.
    Sore throat is not commonly present with the flu.
    CHEST DISCOMFORT
    Chest discomfort is mild to moderate with a cold.
    Chest discomfort is often severe with the flu.
    The only way to stop the spread of the epidemic is to spread the awareness.
    If you have flu symptoms, stay home. Do not put other people’s health in danger.
  213. Shocker. New Video Surfaces Showing Obama’s Pastor & Mentor Praising Marxism… This Year
    Once again… Thank you state-run media for vetting the radical candidate Obama.
    Accuracy in Media reported on Rev. Jeremiah G-D AmeriKKKa Wright’s speech from the September 17, 2009, anniversary celebration of Monthly Review,
    Wright is being introduced in the video by Robert W. McChesney, co-founder of Free Press, an organization which has come under scrutiny for its links to the Obama Administration and dedication to the transformation and control of the private media in the U.S.
    In an article in the socialist Monthly Review, “Journalism, Democracy, and Class Struggle,” McChesney declared, “Our job is to make media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism.”
    In the video, which captures Wright’s appearance at a September 17, 2009, anniversary celebration of Monthly Review, Wright said that while the “corporate media” provide a “binary lens” of the world, in such terms as “communist versus Christian,” Monthly Review offers what it calls “no-nonsense Marxism.”
    He added: “You dispel all the negative images we have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word socialism or Marxism.”
    He called America “land of the greed and home of the slave.”
  222. Linda-They should be getting rid of those machines, not adding more! I think my blood pressure just went up a notch. I better put my muzzle on when I go vote.
  223. CW & all- Thanks for covering the corruption & voter fraud here in NJ. You have really done a terrific job of exposing it!
  224. Linda-about that link “fixing NJ for Corzine”, I think there will be alot of angry people here if he wins. He was so far behind months ago, it’s hard to imagine that the race is so close now. We will know it was dirty tricks.
  225. Don’t know if this has been posted. This guy says Rev Manning was banned from youtube for speaking against Homosexuality.
  226. Nancy,
    Yesterday on Beck he had a guy on talking about the absentee ballot situation in NJ. He said this has never been allowed before. They can bring the ballot to the homes of illegals and have them fill them out. He also said he talked to someone who never requested an absentee ballot and come to find out someone had filled out HIS ballot – not him.
    This am on Fox & Friends Karl Rove said things can get a little strange when the Dems are running a tight race. ????
    2008 all over again!
  229. Good Morning CW!
    Trent Franks had an informative Phone TownHall last night. I was not informed of it prior to the call from the 202 #. It lasted for over 2 hrs. I was not called that early. I was able to listen for 1 hr (aprox). He was expressing his discontent & fear of this administration, and where obama is trying to lead us. He said that the dems will use the nuclear option to drive this bill thru congress. He mention the words Marxism,… and Socialism many times. This bill will destroy our Country, bankrupt it for sure.
    Wants people to call their congressmen/women,… let them know again and again that we do not want it. That is the only way to stop them. Mr Franks expressed the interest in hearing from The American People, wanted them to call the 202 # and/or email, snail mail,…. what ever source you had.
    I emailed him a long message. Expressed the appreciation to be able to know that he is willing to help stop this destruction of America. If you want that email…. I will send it to you.
    I also tried to write the important points that he talked about in a summary. He is A GOOD GOD FEARING MAN…… common sense kinna guy.
    Thanks CW.
    Leadership, Obama Style
    It’s been a year since that exhilarating night last year when we heard the news that Barack Obama would be our next president. Over the course of that year, we have seen the leadership style of our new president.
    Some say it is too early to tell; he’s only been in office for a little over nine months. But that’s a very literal view of leadership. Sure, we won’t know the outcomes of many of his decisions for years. We won’t know, for example, if the health care reform bill he ultimately signs really turns out to be “budget-neutral” ten years from now. But we can see how he let its budget-neutrality become the central theme of the debate and the way he has tacitly or explicitly supported, or failed to support, different aspects of that legislation, including ways of paying for it that either do or don’t come out of the pockets of working and middle class Americans — the same people who are just seeing their health care premiums raised by a third in anticipation by the health insurance companies. And in that sense, I think we have seen the clear outlines of Obama’s approach to leadership.
    Genuine leadership means setting the agenda. It means taking tough stands. It means telling people the truth forcefully and evocatively in a way that makes them want to listen and act. It means drawing lines in the sand when you must, and refusing to compromise your values even if you have to compromise on some of the policies born of those values when you have no other choice. It means fighting for what you believe in and taking on powerful vested interests when people’s lives and livelihoods are at stake. And it means looking backward at the past so you don’t make the same mistakes, looking sideways at alternatives so you know your options, and using that vision to move the nation forward.
    Leadership is a quality Barack Obama showed on the campaign trail. It is a quality he has failed to show as president.
    Before readers start generating caveats and apologies, let me be clear. What he has done is to set a national agenda, and an ambitious one at that. He inherited an economy in tatters and a world doubting our commitment to values we have always embodied imperfectly but earnestly. He made it his first priority to pass a stimulus package and his second to take on health care reform. He signed some executive orders and bills into law that had languished on the desk of a conservative ideologue for years. And he has spoken to the world in a way that has restored their faith in America, at least for now.
    But with the exception of his unique capacity to speak to people on the street in every corner of the globe (not an inconsequential skill in a global village), we need to evaluate his leadership not primarily in comparison to George W. Bush, who historians are already putting in the league of Ulysses S. Grant while inebriated, or even John McCain, but against the other Democrats who would have beaten McCain after the stock market crashed and the economy collapsed in mid September if Obama had not won the nomination. And that is where we start to get a picture of Obama as a leader.
    The reality is that any Democrat would have followed the basic dictates of Keynesian economics in January 2009 and passed a large stimulus bill with the help of a heavily Democratic Congress — but no one else would have traded 200 billion in infrastructure and jobs for the chimera of bipartisanship that Obama oddly continues to pursue even while he remains unable to get a Republican vote on anything, no matter what concessions he offers. Every Democrat would have signed the Children’s Health bill (“S-CHIP”) and ended the immoral policy of denying children health care. And every other Democrat would have gone after Wall Street with a vigor we have not seen from this president, who prefers to place past and future crimes off limits under the banner of “look forward, not back,” and give out credit like candy to the banks at zero percent interest while allowing them to quadruple the interest on the credit cards of people who would still be employed and able to make their original payments had it not been for the malfeasance of the same banks that are now throwing them out of their homes.
    We can argue policy specifics, but my point here is about process, not substance. Leadership is not about saying, “me, too.” It is not about waiting until Congress finally passes a hate crimes bill that makes slaughtering a gay kid a real crime, or waiting for Congress to end don’t-ask/don’t tell — when even the vast majority of the public is for it — and then pulling out your special “me, too” pen for the signing ceremony. Leadership is not making public pronouncements that simultaneously support and undercut the goal of requiring the health insurance industry to compete with at least one plan they don’t control.
    The health care debate is a prototypical example. Obama could have told members of Congress when the health care fight began, “If the average American doesn’t have the same quality and range of options at the end of this process that you do, I will not sign any appropriations bill for next year that includes health insurance for federal employees, your family and mine included, because if it’s good enough for us, it’s good enough for the people we serve.” Had the president done that, he would have had populist sentiment at his back, not with its back up against Democrats over “death panels.” Blue Dogs and conservative Democrats would have been champions of populist reform, both because it would have been in the interest of their own family’s health and because it would have struck a resonant chord with their constituents. All it would have taken was a sharp condemnation of the health insurance industry — something he ultimately ended up having to do anyway after they decided his plan was no longer in their interest — and what has led to a recent shift in the Democrats’ favor on health care reform.
    Am I sure that he could have mobilized populist sentiment to mobilize support for health care reform, or is that armchair, 20-20 hindsight punditry? Yes. I polled it 18 months ago, and the idea of the public getting the same quality of care as their elected representatives was wildly popular with everyone, right, left, and center.
    It would be nice to see from the president a little less Rodney King — “Why can’t we all get along?” — and a little more Martin Luther King, who wasn’t interested in compromising on 3/5 of a man or 3/5 of a vote — and who wouldn’t have sat on the sidelines waiting to declare victory upon insuring 3/5 of the people who can’t afford health insurance. When the Senate sent its fifth and final health care bill out committee, the president lavished praise on one person — Republican Senator Olympia Snow, apparently for failing to obstruct the process — who promptly noted that her support was only temporary. The president’s highest-level surrogates then fanned out on the Sunday morning shows to demonstrate his staunch commitment to equivocation on whether the health insurance industry needs some healthy competition to bring costs down and guarantee high quality, affordable care.
    This, in microcosm, is the essence of the President’s approach to leadership — Obamaprise — the art of compromising when you don’t have to. The goal is not to get the best possible bill, to fulfill his campaign pledges to the people who elected him, or to fulfill values to which he is deeply committed, whatever they seem to be when the dust settles on his latest moving speech. The goal is to find someone with whom to compromise, whether it’s the pharmaceutical industry, the health insurance industry, or Senate Republicans on health care; the energy industry and the “clean coal” lobby on climate change; or the banks lavishing their latest set of outrageous bonuses on their executives for another Heckuva-Job-Bernanke year.
    The president is fortunate that Martin Luther King did not share his conflict-averse approach to leadership, or Obama himself would be sitting in the middle of a bus somewhere, not on Air Force One, waiting for the day when someone would forcefully take a stand to repeal a Solomonic compromise between those who demanded that blacks sit on the back of the bus and those who demanded that they sit, like whites, wherever they want, and someone came up with the perfect Obamaprise: let them sit in the middle.
    Leadership is not searching for the golden mean between what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s true and what’s false, what the Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress and the people who elected them to run the country believe after eight dismal years of Bush Republicanism and what Chuck Grassley or Olympia Snowe finds aesthetically or financially appealing.
    We were lucky Abraham Lincoln did not invite Jefferson Davis into his cabinet to insure that he had a “team of rivals.”
    We were lucky FDR famously “welcomed the hatred” of those who had plunged the nation into the Great Depression because that freed him to regulate them.
    We were lucky Lyndon Johnson did not let the knowledge that he was handing the South to the Republicans for at least a generation by signing the Civil Rights Acts deter him from the dictates of his uncompromised conscience.
    President Obama needs to reflect on whatever is driving his compromised approach to leadership. He will no doubt accomplish many good things in his four or eight years in office, in part because there is so much damage from the preceding administration to undo, and with a Republican Party in complete disarray, he will no doubt accomplish incremental change we can believe in if that’s really what he wants to take to the voters in 2012.
    But if he does not change course, he is on the path to being known as the first black president — nothing more, nothing less — a solid caretaker on the order of Dwight Eisenhower, who tinkered around the edges of the ideology of the last visionary president, FDR, the way Obama is tinkering around the edges of the last game-changing president, Ronald Reagan.
    With his extraordinary intellect and his ability to speak to people’s hopes and aspirations, this president has the capacity to be the transformative leader we all thought we were electing. But if he wants to be known for giving eloquent speeches followed up by field goals where he could have had touchdowns, he is well on his way to the thirty yard line.
    Like anyone believes he has any leadership qualities whatsoever…this man is an idiot, and it is about time his kool-aid drinkers realized it!
    I was just listening to Pastor Mannings show from Friday. At about 80 min. in, he said he was at a dinner party with a friend of his who lives in a town with Supreme Court Justices and insinuated that the Justices were given “Taliban type” threats. Very vicious….
    We are SO screwed! Between the media being threatened and now hearing that the courts are being threatened viciously how are we going to get this bum out????
