- concluded retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser, was not engaged in collusion with the Russians.
The latter revelation has mostly escaped much notice, contained in a single sentence in a once-sealed court motion filed by Flynn defense attorney Sidney Powell that requested what is known as Brady material, or evidence of innocence.
That motion dated Sept. 11, 2019 requested access to “an internal DOJ document dated January 30, 2017, in which the FBI exonerated Mr. Flynn of being ‘an agent of Russia.’””
“Flynn’s motion is confirmed by a 2018 letter obtained by Just the News between Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office and defense lawyers. It shows the DOJ exoneration memo was written after Flynn had been interviewed by FBI agents in January 2017 and after the government learned the former Defense Intelligence Agency chief had kept his old agency briefed on his contacts with Russia, something that weighed heavily against the notion he was aiding Moscow.
“According to an internal DOJ memo dated January 30, 2017, after the Jan. 24 interview, the FBI advised that based on the interview the FBI did not believe Flynn was acting as an agent of Russia,” Mueller’s team wrote in the letter.”

A lot has been going on in California lately.
CA Governor Newsom in a press conference held on Sunday afternoon, announced that all restaurants will have their occupancy levels cut in half and all bars will be closed to stop the coronavirus spread .
Further stressing social distancing, Newsom also urged that people over the age of 65 and people with chronic health issues stay indoors.This message comes days after the governor banned all gatherings in California over 250 people. That being said, the governor did not address the closing of movie theaters in this announcement.

Can’t find any face masks in California even in remote areas. Luckily I purchased some face masks two weeks ago.

……….was you able to acquire the N-95 type masks? This is important because they have a soft metal nasal seal strip which you form to your nose when you use the mask. Still they are not 100% effective. The 95 represents the filtering efficiency of the mask. The 3M 8271 mask works well……they are a little expensive.The other side of the equation is a good anti microbial hand soap. The white DIAL anti bacterial is ok but I personally take it a step further. I use the DIAL gold hydrating hand soap with push dispenser top. At the same time I use a dampened wash cloth with warm water and I squirt a shot of the hand soap on the washcloth and rub it into the washcloth, and sponge was my face as well. It only needs to be a tiny shot. Works great for me. I suppose you could do the same with bar soap and a washcloth. The important part is to sponge your face nearly as often as you wash your hands. Both are IMPORTANT. Especially if you have been to the store, or any gathering. I have a lung which is compromised with asbestosis. This manifests its presence with a plaque on the lung pleura. This shows up on a chest xray as a shadow which should not be there. It comes from being in ship engine rooms, and firerooms for extended periods of time. I spent 4 years as an engineer and breathed in a whole lot of 125 degree atmosphere containing suspended asbestos particles. A few folks have contracted it by working in the residential SIDING business back in the late 40s, and early 1950s. when asbestos was made into rigid siding panels. for houses. Either way it does the same thing. So needless to say with such a compromise I do NOT venture outside at the present time. I’m not whining about my past, rather just trying to express a point.

Yesterday I went to my barber shop to get a haircut. Barber was there, but said he couldn’t cut my hair. Said he would be fined? Which leads to the question. What businesses by state are considered essential and non-essential? Must non-essential businesses close? Are there fines? Can they receive outside deliveries?
Last week I was told a city in LA with businesses over 25 employees had to close. And, on Friday many CA new and used car dealers were told to close and NOT to sell cars. Service and Parts for the most part would remain open. (Essential)
Many churches are closed and are not holding services. Some churches are now holding services in drive in theaters. As I see it, each state and some cities, have their own rules and guidelines.

I’ve been away for a while; sorry about that.
Just wanted to check in and let you know what I know. As you may already know, my work puts me right in the middle of this thing; it’s a position I wish I wasn’t in, but here it is.
First off all, please check your state’s official web site and go to the Public Health page; that’ll give you all the stats about what’s happening where you are. MA is currently #4 in the nation for the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 and as of tonight, there have been 5 fatalities.
I have been ordered to work remotely for three days and go in for two. Not happy about going in because we know that due to the increased testing, *the virus is already in the building.* I am at high risk (my age + Stage II COPD) and have to be extremely careful. That goes for everyone out there, too.
Now, regarding what you’ve heard about this virus and how it got going. It did NOT originate at the ‘live market’ in Wuhan; bats were not being sold there at the time, but it IS a bat virus. I got a report from an ‘insider’ in China who said that they’d be killed if discovered. This is what they said: There is a researcher in Wuhan (one of the very few labs on the planet that works with viruses) and any researcher-being who they are-wants to make an amazing discovery, publish papers and be well known. This researcher was able to isolate the virus and have it jump from bat to human. The next project was transmission from human to human and obviously, that was successful. The researcher published a paper. It was read by some. It has since disappeared. Bioweapon? Unlikely. ‘Escape from the lab’ a la Stephen King’s ‘The Stand?’ Probable. Why this research? Unknown.
This is not the seasonal flu; it’s in the SARS/MERS category of coronaviruses and is a whole ‘nother animal. It is highly contagious but, contrary to what you may have read, it is NOT airborne; it’s passed on by droplets from a sneeze or cough.
The bottom line is that it’s here. A very good friend now living in London has contracted it. He is in the hospital on oxygen. He said that this is not the flu in fact, it’s not even close. He’s young. It has attacked his lungs. I’m praying that he makes it.
Please keep your distance from other people. Masks are not necessary unless you have a cold or the flu; a mask will only stop others from getting what you’ve got, and nothing more. Wash your hands raw. Stay in if you don’t absolutely have to go out. Keep yourself well nourished and hydrated. Pray. A lot.
I will be checking in more regularly; this thing is bigger than all of us. We need to pull together and help each other, if we can. If you do woodworking or painting and have extra dust masks and/or gloves, please consider donating them to your local hospital; they need them desperately.

……….If you have a back yard, maybe it might be worth acquiring some strawberry plants ,and GROWING YOUR OWN. Where you live they ought to do pretty well. If you have a big enough back yard you also grow some veggies, maybe even have room for a couple of fruit trees. This way you will get your exercise working in your garden. Don’t let your neighbors know what you are doing though. Somebody might try to muscle in for a piece of the action.

Gov. Baker has just issued a Stay at Home order for MA until April 7. all non-essential business are to close. While this is not a formal Shelter in Place order, it’s basically the same thing. NY has shut down and being a contiguous state, it was inevitable that MA would also do something.
I will go in Tuesday and Wednesday, unless otherwise directed. Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans are in effect for each state and many businesses; they’re put into effect in situations like this where you may not be able to continue to operate as you normally do.
Will have more info when I’m physically at work. Will send along a report from the field when I know more.
