Then, the caucus got down to business. It had split, 61-61; Clinton was awarded two delegates, and Sanders was awarded two. What would become of the fifth delegate?
Enter the coin. Tails — Clinton won.
“What?” O’Keefe said. “… Can you explain this to us?” Someone did, adding insult to injury by saying “Touchdown Seahawks!” — a reference to a 2012 NFL controversy over what many consider to be a terribly random call.
“So by coin flip, Hillary Clinton has won this precinct,” O’Keefe said. First of all, I do NOT claim that Cruz is, or is not, a natural born citizen. I’ll leave that up to the courts. As cw stated earlier, now that Bill G may have standing, perhaps this issue may finally get into the courts to challenge NBC. I do believe Ted Cruz is a citizen of the United States because his mother was an American citizen.
I guess I didn’t make it clear that the point I’m trying to make is that the law from which you were quoting does NOT apply to Ted Cruz and his father. This law pertains to naturalized citizens and their minor children. His father did NOT apply for American citizenship when Ted was a child. However, many people have taken quotes from these two laws out of context and applied them to Ted Cruz. Ted was born in 1970 so he was 35 years old when Ted’s dad, Rafael Cruz, finally became a U.S. citizen in 2005.

I would venture to say that you used the wrong sort of POOP CHUTE. The head should be protruding from a hole in an outhouse. You just keep a stick handy and knock the top of the mountain off periodically. I used such an outhouse all during WW2. Our balloon framed farmhouse had no indoor bathroom, or plumbing….only a hand pump in the kitchen. When the water in the cistern fell below a certain level then the hand pump didn’t work either. Fortunately we had a shallow well pump with an iron handle. In the winter you had to be careful because bare hands could quickly freeze to the iron pump handle, especially if your hands were sweaty.

The Americans used Vattel to craft their new Constitution, including the requirements for it’s commander in chief, that he be a “natural born Citizen” not the son of a British soldier or Prince, but the son of an American Citizen, not a foreigner, a son of the soil.

Within Illinois politics, few individuals will make the career-ending risk to resist what we call the ‘Combine’.
This effort has been worthwhile as the qualification of natural born citizen has been raised on many major news sites and has increased voter awareness. Even Mr. Trump mentioned the IL challenge. It is unfortunate that so many discard the Constitution of our Founders, but the battle will continue and those who defend the Constitution will prevail. Please consider discussing this issue openly with family and friends. Voters can reject Presidential candidates who are not qualified and who lie about their status, such as Cruz and Rubio.
‘Natural born citizen’ was intended by the founders to mean born in the America of citizen parents; no law or regulation is required to endow or rescind such citizenship. Founders wanted to discourage foreign influence on our Commander in Chief, as had caused problems in Europe. Nothing, no Board ruling or court opinion or Harvard article, can change this qualification except for an amendment to the Constitution.

According to Challenger, “heavy downsizing in the retail and energy sectors pushed monthly job cut announcements to their highest level since last summer.”
January represents the highest monthly tally since July 2015, when cuts reached 105,696. Most troubling, it was the largest January total since 241,749 job cuts were announced during the first month of 2009.”
