“NYC doctor will testify on ObamaCare woes”
“An Upper East Side ophthalmologist whose ObamaCare woes were spotlighted in The Post has been called to testify before a congressional committee Thursday.
“It shows Washington is listening,” Dr. Patricia McLaughlin said as she prepared for her trek to the halls of power on Capitol Hill.
“All of this thanks to your New York Post article.”
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is probing the ill effects of the health-care law, invited McLaughlin to testify about how she got hit by an ObamaCare “double whammy.”
First, the eye doctor was notified that she was losing the group health plan that covered her four-person office.
Then, she was dropped from the Empire BlueCross BlueShield network, so patients using that insurance plan would have to go elsewhere or pay out of pocket.
McLaughlin said she expects to lose 20 to 25 percent of her patients.
The letter from Empire didn’t specify why McLaughlin was being shut out even while she is listed as a preferred provider under other plans.
The insurance company wouldn’t comment.
Industry insiders say insurers are under pressure to offer cheaper rates for ObamaCare plans and are narrowing their networks of doctors to cut costs.
“I have a double-whammy: I lost my insurance; now my medical practice is going to be losing patients,” McLaughlin told The Post in a story published last month.”

While at the mall a couple of years ago, my then four year old nephew, Spencer, saw kids lined up to see Santa Claus. Having been taught as a toddler that Christmas is the holiday that Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, he asked his mom, “where’s the line to see Jesus”?
My sister mentioned this to my dad, who immediately became inspired and jotted words down to a song in just a few minutes. After putting music to the words, and doing a quick recording at home, he received a great response from friends. He sent the song off to Nashville without much response, except for a Christian song writer who suggested adding a bridge at the end of the first chorus. My dad then asked if I wanted to record the song to see what we could do with it. I listened to the song, made a few changes to the words to make it flow better, and we headed to Shock City Studios.
It was at the studio where Chris, owner and producer, rewrote the 2nd verse and part of the chorus… with goose bumps and emotions high, we were all hopeful and felt like we had something special. The demo was recorded in just under 2 hours and sent off again to Nashville… still no response.
Then 2 weeks before Christmas last year, my cousins Greg and Robbie decided to do a video to see what we could accomplish on YouTube. The first day we had 3000 hits and it soared from there. We received e-mails, phone calls, Facebook messages from people all over asking for the music, CD’s, iTunes, anything… we had nothing. After a couple of meetings with Chris following the amazing response, we got serious. We headed back into the studio this past spring… this time with guitars, drums, bass, pianos, choirs… the real deal…. and here we are today.
Getting iTunes set up, a website put together, and loving that thousands upon thousands of Christians have come together… remembering the true meaning of Christmas. Out of the mouths of babes come profound truths that many adults can not understand. Hopefully Spencer’s observation will cause people all over to reflect on the love of Jesus, and that one day we will all stand in line to see Him. We are most thankful to our Heavenly Father to have this chance to share our music with you.

On public tv last night I listened to a twelve year old child play the piano,sing and talk with the intelligence of a well educated adult. I was mesmerised by this youngster. He done everything so very well…..and it was plain that his live audience was equally mesmerised. Perhaps he might even be a great replacement for the NITWIT in the WACKY HOUSE.
I believe that the youngster’s name is Evan Bortnick. Maybe it is time for us to take a look at electing such gifted children to PUBLIC OFFICE,without the constraints of a membership in any political party. I personally believe that it is time for us to shake off the political parties,and begin selecting our elected leaders on the basis of their overall qualifications. Then if he wants to become the POTUS his promises must be in the form of a CONTRACT with America. A legally binding contract.

One woman asked him specific questions as to the POTUS eligibility….. he quickly reiterated that the “POTUS was born in America”, and he stated that he would NOT COMMENT ANY FURTHER. That tells me that he is not going to EVER tell what he MIGHT know if anything at all. This also affirms the fact that while he says how conservative he is his body language tells on him,and he is really one of the guys who are under a permanent GAG ORDER if you will. If he were to say anything about Soetoro’s eligibility,he could be thrown in the slammer for a very long time, and again he knows it.. But he did say enough to allow the cat to escape the bag. I was thinking about everything that is wrong with what is going on in our government today.
Healthcare woes, military budget cuts, illegal aliens demanding amnesty, citizenship, and voting rights, SCOTUS declaring the ACA, (obamacare) legal as a tax, countless executive orders designed to bypass congress, court case after court case, being dismissed for lack of standing, multimillion dollar vacations, military members thrown in jail, and being fired, laws going unenforced, Senate declaring the filibuster option dead, president violating the Constitution, states passing unconstitutional gun laws, DHS acting like Obama’s personal military, no national budget passed by congress for the last five years, and the list goes on.
Every one of these issues can be remedied, and reversed with one single act.
Declare Obama a USURPER, and VOID everything he has touched!!!!
