“New York Paying $500 For Snitches To Report Illegal Gun Owners”
I told you yesterday that Governor Andrew Cuomo was having to reevaluate his unconstitutional gun legislation called the SAFE Act. Well now this same tyrant is offering tax payer money for snitches in New York to tell on their fellow citizens that have firearms that are considered illegal under his new gun law.
Back in February of 2012, before the SAFE Act was passed, Cuomo indicated that one of the four pronged initiatives he was putting forth was a program to offer a cash reward (that’s tax payer money) for citizens who become turncoats and out their neighbors to police so that they can confiscate their firearms, which are supposed to be protected under the Constitution.
A “Gun Tip Line” has been set up so that New Yorkers can call a toll free hotline (obviously paid for with tax payer dollars as well) and snitch on people without any evidence that they have an illegal firearm. It’s sort of like Child Protective Services for Firearms. No evidence is needed, just an anonymous tip.
If an arrest is made, the anonymous tipster would get $500.
“This initiative seeks to turn neighbor against neighbor and use their own tax dollars to pay for the $500 reward,” said Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin (R-Melrose).”
“While New Yorkers are pushing for repeal of the tyrannical gun law, Colorado is going ahead with its legislation and sheriffs have made it known that those laws will not be enforced. This leads me to be cautious and, as a result, ask if laws are left in place, what is to keep a new generation from enforcing them? The reality is that is a strong possibility and that is why they need to be repealed, not just ignored. Pratt said that was a hope of his organization and that would largely happen by the public issuing “pink slips” to those in office when there are new elections.”

Everybody had better start saving to pay the Healthcare cost increases which is coming. If you still have a provider,you can look for cost increases as high as 50% to some people. It depends largely on where you are geographically,and what sort of coverage you already hold. If you are paying $150.00 now you could see a $75.00 increase in your premiums which would put you at $225.00 per month. (hypothesis). Ain’t it nice paying for some SCUM BAGS HEALTHCARE? Pertaining to the Government Health police, I remember well when smoking was being attacked by the politicians and they gained momentum by getting a buy-in from non-smokers to tax them at higher rates, force them to pay higher premiums for insurance, restrict private businesses from allowing smokers in their place of business, and more. For those old enough to remember, it all started with federal laws restricting smoking in Commercial Airplanes, since they fly over State lines claimed its authority under Federal commerce clause. Also promised they [Feds] would never extend further than that. We all know where that led.
Smokers at that time warned other citizens that if they support such government notion, eventually they will even come after “Fat People” and do the same. The warning was ignored and politicians pledged no such thing will ever occur, again. Now we see the governments intervention with Overweight people, including children, taking children away from parents, vast regulations on foods considered unhealthy, and now overweight people having to pay higher taxes and higher insurance rates.
What’s all the hubbub about? They were told it would happen to them too! Be careful about letting the Camel’s nose in tent. People never listen.

If you are one of the people who still have healthcare coverage at your work 20, you can look for a really hairy increase to your part of the premium cost. In fact you might end up paying the entire cost each month,or be forced into Cobra Coverage.
I used to think that the takeover of the U.S. would never occur in my
lifetime. But now i am not so sure anymore. Things seem to be progressing
much “quicker” than i first thought. Now i believe only PRAYER AND HOPE

The next time you go to Wal Mart,or other store take a really good look around you and particularly notice how many of the people you notice seem to be overweight. I agree with the people who say there is a obesity problem in the US,and perhaps in other places on Earth as well. Exactly what to do about it should be up to those people,NOT THE GOVERNMENT, but it does open the door for increases to Healthcare costs. (excuse to raise premiums).
The last time I did that it looked as though most of the overweight people were fairly young. I would say that out of every ten people I saw about 5 were obviously overweight,and nearly all were younger people.

I am beginning to think that the liberals will dream up an EXTRA SPACE tax. If somebody measures 4′ across he/she could be taxed for the extra space which he/she displaces, because he/she should only measure 2′ across. Could be the next tax proposed,and I would bet that BLOOMBERG will be the first to write an OVER SIZE PERSON SPACE DISPLACEMENT TAX BILL, for the New York legislature to pass. If you are found GUILTY in being oversize you will be penalised by being suspended from a crane and used as a PILING DRIVER.

My daughter works at Walmart and she told me that every morning when the store opens up there is a line of people waiting to get to get in to buy ammo. This is crazy…am I missing out on something or what?

“The extraordinary level of ammunition purchases made by Homeland Security seems to have, in states such as my own, created an extreme shortage of ammunition to the point where many gun owners are unable to purchase any,” he wrote.

Russian Tycoon and Putin Opponent Found Dead in Britain – Circumstances “Unexplained”

Boris Berezovsky, the Russian oligarch who helped broker Vladimir Putin’s rise to the Kremlin’s top job only to become his fierce enemy, has been found dead at his home in Britain in unclear circumstances. He was 67.
“His death is currently being treated as unexplained and a full inquiry is under way,” police said in a statement on Saturday that did not identify Berezovsky by name.
One of Putin’s fiercest critics, Berezovsky spoke openly of overthrowing the Russian leader and said he feared for his life though it was unclear how the mathematician-turned-tycoon had died.
Russian media said he had been found dead in a Russian sauna at his house and that he may have committed suicide or had a heart attack, though the British police said only that they had launched an investigation into an unexplained death.
“I can confirm he died in his home. I’ve known him for a long, long time, we have spent a lot of time together,” Andrei Sidelnikov, a Russian dissident living in London who was a friend of Berezovsky’s, told Reuters.
“I am shocked. It is the end of an epoch.”
Police said they had launched a full investigation into the death and cordoned off his home in the commuter town of Ascot near London
Once one of Russia’s richest men, Berezovsky fell out with the Kremlin under Putin and fled Moscow for Britain where he became a vociferous opponent of Russia’s most powerful man.

The New England Fishery Management Council approved a year-to-year extreme cut of 77 percent on the Gulf of Maine cod limit and 61 percent for Georges Bank cod. These cuts come on top of a pile of other federally regulated reductions, ranging from 10 to 71 percent, on the catch of other bottom-dwelling ground fish species, such as haddock and flounder. New England fisherman says now they’re facing industry collapse because they have been regulated out of business. David Goethel, a New Hampshire fisherman and council member claims “We are headed down the wrong course here, they are decimating the inshore fleet, for no good reason,” NOAA’s top federal fisheries regulator, John Bullard acknowledged the reductions will be devastating to the fishing industry. But said the fish stocks are struggling and the industry’s steady painful decline must be reversed.
Meanwhile, in Maine… Obama is set to kill off the fishing industry in the state to save the already abundant porpoise population. Fisherman say catching a porpoise in their nets is like hitting a deer with your car. There are an estimated 89,700 porpoises thriving in the area. But Barack Obama will force local fishermen to shut down during the crucial fall months to save these animals.

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and the National Pork Producers are furious after the Obama Environmental Protection Agency illegally gave information on livestock farmers to extremist animal rights groups.
Farm Futures reported:
NCBA and the National Pork Producers Council are both furious with EPA for handing extremist groups illegally gathered data on farmers who operate confined animal feeding operations.
NCBA said early this week it was notified by the EPA that the agency had been collecting information from states on CAFOs. The information was requested by extremist groups, including Earth Justice, the Pew Charitable Trust and the Natural Resources Defense Council through a Freedom of Information Act request and was given to them.
The information released by EPA covers livestock operations in more than 30 states, including many family farmers who feed less than 1,000 head and are not subject to regulation under the Clean Water Act.
“When we reviewed the information submitted by the states and released by EPA, we were alarmed at the detail of the information provided on hard working family farmers and ranchers, family operations including my own,” said NCBA past president J.D. Alexander, a cattle feeder from Pilger, Nebraska.
“It is beyond comprehension to me that with threats to my family from harassment atop bio-security concerns, that EPA would gather this information only to release it to these groups. This information details my family’s home address and geographic coordinates. The only thing it doesn’t do is chauffeur these extremists to my house. For some operations, even telephone numbers and deceased relatives are listed.”
The problem had recent roots in January 2012 when EPA proposed the Clean Water Act Section 308 CAFO Reporting rule to collect information from CAFOs and make it publicly available and readily searchable through their website.

I did listen to that report pertaining to Obama’s cousin. I don’t know enough about it, but I am highly skeptical of any validity of such claims. First, for me, I am leery of anyone from Obama’s family claiming birthright knowledge born in the U.S. territories. Secondly, it makes no sense to me why Obama would not have taken advantage back in 2008 of being born on a Military Base. It would have boosted is lack of military image and solidified any doubt of his purported birth in the U.S.

A funny but true story I use to tell when I was the instructor for lean production manufacturing. One principle is called “Low Cost Automation” and in many cases uses “gravity” as a means for automation. I would ask the employee’s: “And what’s great about Gravity”? Someone would always shout, “Its Free”! To which I would reply, “No, it’s that Congress has yet to figure out a way to tax it – YET” Yet being the key word.
I remember when we use to joke about Congress cannot tax “Air” and it’s free. We all know what happened there, they figured out a way… 🙂

Being a retired military officer who had two children born on a military base (one in San Antonio at Fort Sam Houston, and another at Fort Benning, Georgia), I can say with absolute certainty the only people who can use a MILITARY BASE for birthing purposes (or any other purpose) , YOU MUST HAVE A VALID IDENTIFICATION CARD denoting you are a MARRIED dependent OF THE SOLDIER WHO IS THE FATHER OF THE BABY BEING BORN.
There would be all kinds of paper trails if this happened for Obama. His birth on a military base in Kansas is like his current birth certificate…..it’s FAKE……..

I worked with groundhogs (a/k/a woodchucks) for many years; they are intelligent and clever critters.
Originally, badgers were recruited to predict spring in Europe however, the groundhog was substituted in the New World.
I will remind everyone that Phil in PA predicted an early spring; MA’s groundhog, Ms. G (the only female prognosticator of the lot) predicted 6 more weeks of winter. She was right.

If you would like an easy and delicious soup, add frozen chopped spinach to a good quality tomato soup, sliced zucchini if you have it, some garlic and basil and enjoy! Served with a good provolone or jarlsberg cheese and you have a tasty meal for a snowy day.

We don’t get snow in inches, we get it in feet and it goes on for days. Anything short of that is just flurries.

hrmfc, that’s SueQ with the horrible snow tempest, not me. I’m partly cloudy and 40 degrees just north of Boston.
Oops, sorry! Any snow for me is unacceptable. We moved south to get away from harsh winters and most of the time we miss the storms or get a dusting. In nine years we’ve only had to shovel once but we get dreary and nasty.
Perhaps the appropriate dish would be either ground hog sausage,or Hilshire Farms ring smoked sausage with 3 cans of stewed tomatoes, and 1 small can of tomato paste, (you can also substitute about a third of a small can of original Mannwich sloppy joe sauce in place of the tomato paste.)cut the sausage in about 1/2 inch lengths, add a dash of Italian seasoning mix all ingredients over a low heat for about 2hrs. Add diced boiled,and collandered potatoes, re warm, and serve ……guaranteed to please when the FROST IS ON THE PUNKIN!.
………cooking skill level necessary to make prior sausage casserrole= about zero. You only need to know how to use a can opener, and a stirring (cooking Spoon),and a slicing knife.
