Obama the spoiled child elected by adolescents, Real loser Adulthood Maturity Responsibility, Lack of reason and accountability cause liberals to blame guns and conservatives

“How do you get a Obama Liberal? You begin with a normal child at birth and take away reason and accountability.”…Citizen Wells

“The real loser in this election was adulthood: Maturity. Responsibility. The understanding that liberty must be accompanied by self-restraint. Obama is a spoiled child, and the behavior and language of his followers and their advertisements throughout the campaign makes it clear how many of them are, as well. Romney is a grown-up. Romney should have won. Those of us who expected him to win assumed that voters would act like grownups. Because if we were a nation of grownups, he would have won.

But what did win? Sex. Drugs. Bad language. Bad manners. Vulgarity. Lies. Cheating. Name-calling. Finger-pointing. Blaming. And irresponsible spending.”…Laura Hollis, attorney and associate professor of law at Notre Dame

“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good”…George Washington

One of my favorite movies is “As Good as it Gets.” Jack Nicholson plays a obsessive compulsive misanthrope who is transformed into a more loveable character by the end. There are 2 scenes in the movie that are significant in regard to the liberal position on gun control.

The first is when Nicholson’s gay neighbor is beaten to near death when he is robbed. In real life, he would probably have been shot or knifed to death. However, there were enough blunt instruments around to do the job. The neighbor was outnumbered. If the neighbor had been armed (of course NY City has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation for the honest citizens) he could have repelled the intruders.

The second scene has one of the all time great movie quotes. Nicholson is actually describing how he writes about women. He states.

“It’s easy. I start with a man and I take away reason and accountability.”

I believe that the quote more accurately applies to liberals, many of whom are female.

Which leads me to the following.

Obviously, for the folks reading this with reason and accountability, guns are not responsible for the deaths at the Sand Hook Elementary School or anywhere else. In the world where reason and accountability should rule, here are the guilty parties.

I do not know how much involvement the dad had in his life. It is clear that the father’s role is important, but since I do not have that information I will not lapse into conjecture.

Here is the list in priority order:

1. Adam Lanza, the apparent shooter. Despite any mental illness or adversity, he is to blame.

2. Mother. She apparently knew of her son’s problems. She should have secured the guns.

3. Sandy Hook Elementary School and the school system. It was their job to protect the students. They failed with honorable mention to the staff members who gave their lives in an effort to protect the students. However, too little, too late.

4. The damn fools who have dictated that schools should be gun free zones.

5. The whole of American society that has let Liberals & wackos take over government, schools, media, etc.

Laura Hollis is an attorney and associate professor of law at the University of Notre Dame.

From Town Hall November 8, 2012.

“I am already reading so many pundits and other talking heads analyzing the disaster that was this year’s elections. I am adding my own ten cents. Here goes:

1. We are outnumbered

We accurately foresaw the enthusiasm, the passion, the commitment, the determination, and the turnout. Married women, men, independents, Catholics, evangelicals – they all went for Romney in percentages as high or higher than the groups which voted for McCain in 2008. It wasn’t enough. What we saw in the election on Tuesday was a tipping point: we are now at a place where there are legitimately fewer Americans who desire a free republic with a free people than there are those who think the government should give them stuff. There are fewer of us who believe in the value of free exchange and free enterprise. There are fewer of us who do not wish to demonize successful people in order to justify taking from them. We are outnumbered. For the moment. It’s just that simple.

2. It wasn’t the candidate(s)
Some are already saying, “Romney was the wrong guy”; “He should have picked Marco Rubio to get Florida/Rob Portman to get Ohio/Chris Christie to get [someplace else].” With all due respect, these assessments are incorrect. Romney ran a strategic and well-organized campaign. Yes, he could have hit harder on Benghazi. But for those who would have loved that, there are those who would have found it distasteful. No matter what tactic you could point to that Romney could have done better, it would have been spun in a way that was detrimental to his chances. Romney would have been an excellent president, and Ryan was an inspired choice. No matter who we ran this year, they would have lost. See #1, above.

3. It’s the culture, stupid.
We have been trying to fight this battle every four years at the voting booth. It is long past time we admit that that is not where the battle really is. We abdicated control of the culture – starting back in the 1960s. And now our largest primary social institutions – education, the media, Hollywood (entertainment) have become really nothing more than an assembly line for cranking out reliable little Leftists. Furthermore, we have allowed the government to undermine the institutions that instill good character – marriage, the family, communities, schools, our churches. So, here we are, at least two full generations later – we are reaping what we have sown. It took nearly fifty years to get here; it will take another fifty years to get back. But it starts with the determination to reclaim education, the media, and the entertainment business. If we fail to do that, we can kiss every election goodbye from here on out. And much more.

4. America has become a nation of adolescents
The real loser in this election was adulthood: Maturity.

Blaming. And irresponsible spending.

This does not bode well. People grow up one of two ways: either they choose to, or circumstances force them to. The warnings are all there, whether it is the looming economic disaster, or the inability of the government to respond to crises like Hurricane Sandy, or the growing strength and brazenness of our enemies. American voters stick their fingers in their ears and say, “Lalalalalala, I can’t hear you.”

It is unpleasant to think about the circumstances it will take to force Americans to grow up. It is even more unpleasant to think about Obama at the helm when those circumstances arrive.

5. Yes, there is apparently a Vagina Vote
It’s the subject matter of another column in its entirety to point out, one by one, all of the inconsistencies and hypocrisies of the Democrats this year. Suffice it to say that the only “war on women” was the one waged by the Obama campaign, which sexualized and objectified women, featuring them dressed up like vulvas at the Democrat National Convention, appealing to their “lady parts,” comparing voting to losing your virginity with Obama, trumpeting the thrills of destroying our children in the womb (and using our daughters in commercials to do so), and making Catholics pay for their birth control. For a significant number of women, this was appealing. It might call into question the wisdom of the Nineteenth Amendment, but for the fact that large numbers of women (largely married) used their “lady smarts” instead. Either way, Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton are rolling over in their graves.

6. It’s not about giving up on “social issues”
No Republican candidate should participate in a debate or go out on the stump without thorough debate prep and a complete set of talking points that they stick to. This should start with a good grounding in biology and a reluctance to purport to know the will of God. (Thank you, Todd and Richard.)

That said, we do not hold the values we do because they garner votes. We hold the values we do because we believe that they are time-tested principles without which a civilized, free and prosperous society is not possible. We defend the unborn because we understand that a society which views some lives as expendable is capable of viewing all lives as expendable. We defend family – mothers, fathers, marriage, children – because history makes it quite clear that societies without intact families quickly descend into anarchy and barbarism, and we have plenty of proof of that in our inner cities where marriage is infrequent and unwed motherhood approaches 80%. When Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, many thought that the abortion cause was lost. 40 years later, ultrasound technology has demonstrated the inevitable connection between science and morality. More Americans than ever define themselves as “pro-life.” What is tragic is that tens of millions of children have lost their lives while Americans figure out what should have been obvious before.

There is no “giving up” on social issues. There is only the realization that we have to fight the battle on other fronts. The truth will out in the end.

7. Obama does not have a mandate. And he does not need one.
I have to laugh – bitterly – when I read conservative pundits trying to assure us that Obama “has to know” that he does not have a mandate, and so he will have to govern from the middle. I don’t know what they’re smoking. Obama does not care that he does not have a mandate. He does not view himself as being elected (much less re-elected) to represent individuals. He views himself as having been re-elected to complete the “fundamental transformation” of America, the basic structure of which he despises. Expect much more of the same – largely the complete disregard of the will of half the American public, his willingness to rule by executive order, and the utter inability of another divided Congress to rein him in. Stanley Kurtz has it all laid out here.

8. The CorruptMedia is the enemy

Too strong? I don’t think so. I have been watching the media try to throw elections since at least the early 1990s. In 2008 and again this year, we saw the media cravenly cover up for the incompetence and deceit of this President, while demonizing a good, honorable and decent man with lies and smears. This is on top of the daily barrage of insults that conservatives (and by that I mean the electorate, not the politicians) must endure at the hands of this arrogant bunch of elitist snobs. Bias is one thing. What we observed with Benghazi was professional malpractice and fraud. They need to go. Republicans, Libertarians and other conservatives need to be prepared to play hardball with the Pravda press from here on out. And while we are at it, to defend those journalists of whatever political stripe (Jake Tapper, Sharyl Atkisson, Eli Lake) who actually do their jobs. As well as FoxNews and talk radio. Because you can fully expect a re-elected Obama to try to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine in term 2.

9. Small business and entrepreneurs will be hurt the worst
For all the blather about “Wall Street versus Main Street,” Obama’s statist agenda will unquestionably benefit the biggest corporations which – as with the public sector unions – are in the best position to make campaign donations, hire lobbyists, and get special exemptions carved out from Obama’s health care laws, his environmental regulations, his labor laws. It will be the small business, the entrepreneur, and the first-time innovators who will be crushed by their inability to compete on a level playing field.

10. America is more polarized than ever; and this time it’s personal

I’ve been following politics for a long time, and it feels different this time. Not just for me. I’ve received messages from other conservatives who are saying the same thing: there is little to no tolerance left out there for those who are bringing this country to its knees – even when they have been our friends. It isn’t just about “my guy” versus “your guy.” It is my view of America versus your view of America – a crippled, hemorrhaging, debt-laden, weakened and dependent America that I want no part of and resent being foisted on me. I no longer have any patience for stupidity, blindness, or vulgarity, so with each dumb “tweet” or FB post by one of my happily lefty comrades, another one bites the dust, for me. Delete.

What does this portend for a divided Congress? I expect that Republicans will be demoralized and chastened for a short time. But I see them in a bad position. Americans in general want Congress to work together. But many do not want Obama’s policies, and so Republicans who support them will be toast. Good luck, guys.

11. It’s possible that America just has to hit rock bottom
I truly believe that most Americans who voted for Obama have no idea what they are in for. Most simply believe him when he says that all he really wants is for the rich to pay “a little bit more.” So reasonable! Who could argue with that except a greedy racist?

America is on a horrific bender. Has been for some time now. The warning signs of our fiscal profligacy and culture of lack of personal responsibility are everywhere – too many to mention. We need only look at other countries which have gone the route we are walking now to see what is in store.

For the past four years – but certainly within the past campaign season – we have tried to warn Americans. Too many refuse to listen, even when all of the events that have transpired during Obama’s presidency – unemployment, economic stagnation, skyrocketing prices, the depression of the dollar, the collapse of foreign policy, Benghazi, hopelessly inept responses to natural disasters – can be tied directly to Obama’s statist philosophies, and his decisions.

What that means, I fear, is that they will not see what is coming until the whole thing collapses. That is what makes me so sad today. I see the country I love headed toward its own “rock bottom,” and I cannot seem to reach those who are taking it there.”

How about that! Did I call the shots and predict buma would use the same tactics to force gun controls as he used to force Obamacare on us? The cabal is in a hurry before America finally gets so sick of their dismantling of our freedoms it will revolt. They know its coming and want to have all the advantage on their side—a defenseless citizen is safer to gun down. This is typical of Muslim strategy—remove all methods of self-defense and then slaughter the helpless, the innocent, and the American citizen like fish in a barrel. I posted the following, yesterday.

Yep! They will ram gun controls down America’s throat just like they rammed Obamacare, forced us to pay for their Great Failure called the Stimulus Bill, forced Christians or are trying to accept abortions, forced the “fiscal cliff” deal of the cliff, flaunted a forged birth certificate last April 27, 2012, created the false flags to the crotch bomber, the capture and murder of Bin Ladin, then murdered the 6 Navy Seals who did the job because they knew too much, bullied the Supreme Court into calling Obamacare Constitutional and stole the election from wimpy Romney and, and, and. . . .Isn’t it fun living as captured people?

  6. I am not altogether convinced we (the conservative element) are outnumbered. I am however, convinced beyond a doubt, that we are the victim of voter and election fraud. Note that I use the present tense “are”. As far as I can tell, we are still being victimized in this area through superior organization on the part of the radical left. I believe also that the solution to our problem is going to come in the form of organization and commitment. At this point it matters little what point we organize around, as I see a glaring lack of it (organization) throughout the conservative political spectrum, top to bottom and side to side. The present bunch in control of the party and those who have been “labeled” now and found out to actually be just another form of liberal, absolutely must be purged as we are now, and not by choice, entering a most uncomfortable period of re-organization.
God bless those who had the foresight, even some against their own personal conviction, to leave us with the 2nd amendment.
One last prognostication…our legal system, due primarily to the lawyers within it, should now be viewed as totally ineffective. It no longer functions according to the rule of law. It is totally predicated (if predicated at all) upon either case law or some judges personal view of how things should be (politics from the bench). This (the rule of law) is paramount to retaining any value whatever in the balance (apart from the pesky 2nd Amendment) of the Constitution itself. Just how many ways can you interpret the Commerce Clause anyway?
I’m with Oldsailor80 and those veteran organizations who are now just beginning to see the light. In keeping with that statement, there is no punishment too severe for these judges that have essentially abandoned their posts.

‘No petitions for clarification or further rehearing will be entertained’

Florida Circuit Judge Kevin Carroll, who previously cited the fictitious judge in “Miracle on 34th Street” in a ruling, now says he’s done with arguments over Barack Obama’s eligibility.

Carroll released an order today refusing to hear a request for a hearing that is allowed under state law when there are doubts about a candidate’s eligibility. And let that be the last, the judge said.

No petitions for clarification or further rehearing will be entertained by the court,” he said in his ruling that refused to respond to a request for the state-allowed hearing in a case brought by Michael Voeltz.

“The court … finds no factual or legal cause to recede from its prior ruling that it lacks subject matter jurisdiction,” he wrote.

The attorney handling the case for Voeltz, Larry Klayman, founder of Freedom Watch, told WND if the judge doesn’t want to address the dispute, then he’ll take it to the appellate level, and that filing could occur as early as this weekend.

  16. Air Force Brat!

    1. By basic math, we are FAR from outnumbered. Many good Americans, however, have been brainwashed into believing that all is lost, eventually becoming paralyzed by fear.

    2. All sorts of stuff will be rammed through . . . if it is ALLOWED to be. Chick-Fil-A needs to be the inspiration, not a Youtube video, a message board, or a call-in radio interview with someone claiming to be a police lieutenant.

    3. The Internet can be very useful. However, it is also an extremely fertile breeding ground for fear and despair, regardless whether what appears on it is true or not. It castrates better than a scalpel and weakens the will, to the point where many good citizens roll over and curl up into a ball at the drop of a hat — whether a threat is real, perceived, or even just being THOUGHT about by someone, somewhere, in Washington, D.C.

    4. Many ascribe all sorts of real and imagined powers to the current administration — as was done in years past by a great many Americans concerning the Bush administration, the Clinton administration, the GHW Bush administration, and in fact every administration back to FDR. People need to remember that it is God Almighty, not Obama or Harry Ried or John Boehner or Dianne Feinstein or Code Pink or Joe Blow, who ACTUALLY runs the show. It would be great if people had as much faith in God Almighty as they do in the Internet.

  17. Think about this in regards to what Gordo just posted (left right paradigm) as it pertains to gun control. .

On Fox News this am. The Left wants to ban “assault weapons”The Right says “Oh no, no, no! You need to crack down on crazy people. The weapon is only a tool.”

So who are the crazy people (according to the Government)? Veterans, pro life, pro Constitution, Christians, Jews, Ron Paul supporters, pro 2nd amendment supporters…………….. those who hang out at CW’s?

My point is that both parties are the same. They both have the same intent. I painfully came to this conclusion. They are both working towards the same goal. I hurt for my country.

    Hey All,

If you haven’t taken time to “thumb through” the new “fiscal cliff” crap bill, I couldn’t say as I would blame you.

I’ve made it to page 130 of 154 and I’m to the part where they are through “eliminating these words and inserting these words” and I am now on the part where they are authorizing committees to “study” things like costs of long term in home care.

Although the committee members are not “compensated” they are given monies for any other host of items, (such as staff, food costs, accommodation costs, travel, supplies and the like).

I’m seriously thinking about writing my Congressman to see if I can get a spot on one of these commissions.

I want me a slice of the pie, Lord knows I’ve been supplying “ingredients” for long enough that should ENTITLE me to a small piece.

    I’m just saying.

If anyone is interested in reading this POS bill:

Good luck staying awake while reading it.

Not to worry…they have the military…”we” have the guns…at least for now. We have quite a lot of ammo too. With all the ammo they are ordering, it appears that they are anticipating a defensive fight. Don’t forget… this fight has been brewing for a long time now…since the last election at least, and more likely prior to that.
Real patriots fought, bled, and died for this country once before…and it’s beginning to look like they will yet again. There are still some (patriots)around (they number in the millions by the way). I believe it’s still worth fighting for, and I am certain that we will fight better mad than they will scared….

    Hey All,

I made it through the bill and the bulk of the rest of the bill was subsidies to the agriculture industries.

Not sure WHY we supplement agriculture and I don’t agree with it, but from what I read, it’s a good 2 billion dollars a year just in the stuff that was changed.

Not sure why milk, peanuts, sugarcane and sugar need to be subsidized.

    Can someone enlighten me?

The bill also extends unemployment benefits for a year.

I believe if I was unemployed, I’d draw 390 a week for simply sitting at home and entering in to the computer that I had submitted my resume to three perspecive employers. Now all I’d have to do is put in the status area that I had not gotten a reply to me submitting my resume, and I’d be entitled to 390 a week (when I first went on unemployment, Indiana gave an extra 25 to unemployment recipients that was allocated in the stimulus pacakge, and I’m not sure whether that is still given).

I work 21 miles from home and have to drive to work every day, and I bring home 399 a week (because of the storm last week, I can’t figure out how much more I’m paying because of the 2% payroll increase on Social Security).

My whole point is that I could make as much sitting at home than I can going to work every day.

Not only that, but it would save the wear and tear on my car and the cost of the gas I spend to get to work every day.

I have character and integrity so there’s no way I’d accept that as being a way to make a living, but to “others”………………..

And really, who can blame them, it used to be if you were on public assistance you were ridiculed. Now you are praised and the people who PAY for you to sit at home are ridiculed for “not doing enough”.

    UP is DOWN.

  28. IB,

You are not “others”. You are IB. You have integrity and I applaud you, May God bess you.

  29. coldwarvet2……………….
Since there is no longer any sane legal principle being applied by any arm of our (ALLEGED) government, then the only option remaining for WE THE PEOPLE is to apply our own REASONABLE, and well thought out…….FORCE by which to effect the RETURN TO Constitutional SANITY by those who we elected to represent us. If they refuse then we utilise our OWN LAWS which we will be forced to impose upon the ALLEGED leaders. I am a person who believes in going straight to the source of a problem, and either replacing the component which is broken, or has become otherwise nonfunctional, and I believe in using ANY EXISTING TOOL that will be effective in making the necessary repairs to our alleged government.

  30. IB……………..
In reading your lament,I find that it almost perfectly coincides with my own views. You are absolutely right when you say that you would receive nearly as much money from the state in unemployment compensation, and by and large in staying home you would save virtually all of your vehicle wear and tear as well as the fuel cost of the 42 miles to and from work each day. While I don’t know what type of vehicle you drive it is not really difficult to to extrapolate reasonable fuel estimates if the vehicle was built in the last 5 years. The cost of driving 42 miles each day could equate with a weekly fuel cost of approximately $80.00- $100.00 a week, using a basis fuel cost of $3.65 per gallon. That is only reasoning because around Fort Wayne the average fuel cost is in the $ 3.65- $3.85 range. There are even a few places around that are even higher. I also used 25MPG as a basis for estimating engine fuel consumption. Can you imagine what William pays in fuel cost each week. He drives close to a little over 100 miles ONE WAY to work each day. Hopefully he earns at least $80,000.00 per year. He drives in some pretty hilly terrain which says that his fuel economy will suffer a little.

  31. Bob Strauss…………….
Given the treasonous behavior that we have witnessed from ALL of the Federal Judges,as well as the SCOTUS up to the present, there is little doubt in my mind that Roberts will do a damn thing to right the wrongs of the now seriously warped mentality of our elected government. Particullary the wrongs of ALL of the 127 federal judges. They know that by rejecting a LEGALLY filed complaint against Soetoro, without any form of Constitutional adjudication, they have passed the point OF NO RETURN. They will allow themselves to go down with the ship,if they believe that they are going to be removed from the bench. I seriously doubt that any one of them will ever admit to any complicity in treason.

  32. Coldwarvet2………..
There will be even a stronger driving force which will soon be very clear even to the mental FREAKS who walk among us. It will override our emotions, thoughts, and actions…………it is loosely referred to as NECESSITY, which is loosely said to be the mother of invention.

Amen, AFB! Lately I’ve been doing some very serious thinking about current events and the pickle we are in. All here seek the truth, which is becoming more and more difficult to discern. God is not the author of confusion but yet there seems to be so much of it these days especially among conservatives. We are never going to make inroads against the enemies within our country if we don’t unify around Godly principles, because He is the only One Who can lead us effectively.

It is very distressing for me to read every Tom, Dick and Harry’s predictions as to what they believe is going to happen to America. I am a realist and certainly agree that we are in a very precarious situation, and I am not judging the integrity, or lack thereof, of those who are sending out warnings; however, we need to stay steady and, above all, watch, and not be shaken by every prognostication out there.

Twenty years ago I subscribed to a financial newsletter, written by a reliable authority who had survived the 1987 market crash. My purpose was not for myself but to get info that might be helpful for my clients. Every issue warned of severe, catastrophic monetary events that would bring down the country within months. The writer did have a side motive of recommending certain securities that were supposed to be good investments, but basically each issue was filled with immediate, pending doom.

Over fifty years ago when we first moved to Phoenix the big talk was bomb shelters. Even our church was recommending how to secure one room in our homes in case of a nuclear attack. Everyone was being urged to invest in gold and silver because of runaway inflation which was about to destroy the country.

I’m not suggesting that preps shouldn’t be made or that just because nothing really happened back then that it can’t happen now. Let’s put our faith in God, and as AFB says, more than we do in the internet.

The answer – Most former lawmakers(lawbreakers) become “Lobbyists”. Lobbyist derived its name from back in the 1860’s when they would sit around in the lobby of the then popular D.C. hotels and wait to snare their target(congressman) to bribe, snare,or blackmail to vote for a favorite bill. Today they are the powerful law firms on “K” St. that represent the different manufacturers, growers. and suppliers of the country. Locally it is called the “Revolving Door” operation. A good example is former Conn. Senator Chris Dodd(Dodd-Frank Bill) who is now president of the Motion Picture Association of America which is directly across the street from the White House.
As Jack Paar would have said – “I kid you not.”

  36. Mr.Bill………………..
…………and guess who one of the powerful lawyers is who never stops telling everyone HOW IMPORTANT he thinks he is……….you guessed it ….Charles Schummer. In reality he is little more than an egotistical SUPER BLOWHARD. Here in Indiana we had a carbon copy of him who bore the name Birch Bayh. He too thought that he was so important that everybody should lick his stinking feet. In actuality he amounted to about 0. He practiced his so polished grammar and became “SO IMPORTANT”(in his pea size brain only) that he “IMPORTANTED” himself right out of politics. Then his Republican counterpart was Lugar who like Bayh IMAGINED that he was so important that he didn’t even have to live in Indiana anymore to retain his voting rights. Yeah we managed to rid ourselves of the likes of BOTH of these NINCOMPOOPS.

You are right on the money regarding the financial newsletters. In reality the publisher of the newsletter is the only one who gets rich. He tells everybody how to become rich, and often doens’t have a penny of his own money where his mouth is. Many years ago I made the mistake of subscribing to one of them also. It didn’t take very long for me to realise that it was he who was getting rich as a result of my gullibility. I started doing my own research, and discovered that much of the time all an investor, needs to thoroughly examine are the quarterly reports, and the annual reports, along with an expansion of your knowledge of the ability of the CEO,and the COB. I learned early on that if you are suspicious of any of the officers of the company in which you have vested your money, you simply communicate with your state level SEC,or the Federal SEC. They have huge archives of about anything you want to know about the past behavior of all the CEOs,etc.

Of course a little knowledge of the marketplace into which the products of our manufacturers goes doesn’t hurt either. I would be the first to tell any potential investor to learn about the future of a certain product, and how comtetitive the market is within the product category. You cannot have enough information when you are putting your own money on the line. I have held LNL for a very long time. I attended grade school with a past CEO of LNL. b>Obama supporters shocked, angry at new tax increases

Sometimes, watching a Democrat learn something is wonderful, like seeing the family dog finally sit and stay at your command.

With President Obama back in office and his life-saving “fiscal cliff” bill jammed through Congress, the new year has brought a surprising turn of events for his sycophantic supporters.

“What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase in income taxes will hurt those making over 400 grand. What happened?”

  45. CabbyAZ……….
I held my largest positions in LNL in the late 50s through to the early 70s. When I learned that the board members had approved the acquisition of Chubb of Ohio,I immediately divested myself of 1000 shares of LNL,which left me with 250 shares. Which I still hold. Unfortunately Ian Rolland, was bypassed in that acquisition, and not long thereafter Lincoln National took a $1.9 billion bath as a result of the crop failures that year, which was the business of Chubb. Needless to say most of the board members acquired 20-20 vision AFTER THE FACT. LNL investors saw fit to elect a NEW BOARD,and again not long thereafter Chubb was spun off. I am really not as confident of LNL as I once was. It has morphed into an almost unrecogniseable company when compared to it’s past. After the 1980s LNL has not performed very well. Certainly not as well as it should.

Planned Parenthood Annual Report: Record Number Of Babies Killed In 2011, Record-High 333,964 Abortions Performed In 2011…

    “Modern-day Auschwitz”.

    Via LifeNews:

The new annual report released by the national Planned Parenthood abortion business shows it did more abortions in its last year than ever before in its history.

The new report released by the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) shows the abortion giant did a record 333,964 abortions on unborn children during the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Those abortions were estimated to have generated $150 million dollars for the “nonprofit” organization.

While the number of abortions reached a record high, only 2,300 Planned Parenthood customers were referred to adoption agencies during the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

Meanwhile, the annual report reveals PPFA generated nearly $1.2 billion in total income — just short of the $1.22 billion mark that was its record for income that it posted in 2010-2011.

PPFA’s income included a hefty and ever-increasing check from American taxpayers. In 2009-2010, government funding reached a whopping $487.4 million. In 2010-2011 the figure jumped to $538.5 million. The total for 2011-2012 reached a staggering $542.4 million, which represents 45.2 percent of the group’s total annual budget.

    Thanks for the article.

It saddens me greatly how many irresponsible people there are out there.

It seems to me that 333,964 dead babies just runs right off the backs of those irresponsible people, and those who perform those murders (I refuse to call them anything other than what they are, it simply makes it easier for others to accept when there’s another name for MURDER).

We should fly our flag at half staff every day in honor of those 915 per day killings.

Why are we so riled up about a mere 20 kids being killed in Conn, when 915 babies are killed LEGALLY each and every day in this Country? Just say for the matter of argument that these murder factories took Sunday off (to go to church no doubt), the daily number rises to 1067 each day they are open. That is 53 Sandy Hooks each Monday through Saturday. Why as a Country are we NOT outraged? The doctors who perform these murders are PRAISED (especially those who perform late-term murders)

It seems to me that we bend over backwards to protect our younger citizens, once they have evacuated the womb.

Up until then they are fair game.

…exactly…the problem actually began in the 60’s when all the New Yorkers and New Jersyers wanted to retire in California. You have a hard time finding many native Californians these days. Look what they (NY,NJ) have done to Florida as well…they are like Army Ants…they just consume, displace, or destroy all that is good about these places…then they move on….Oregon even went so far as to place billboards inviting them (Californians ) to leave…they literally destroyed the real estate market in Oregon…then they all moved back to California because they didn’t like the weather…leaving in their wake, a destroyed real estate market and a bunch of libs in the government…

CWV2, it’s a mental disorder. These people do not possess logic and as we see from the ‘Hollywood crowd’ they feel as though they’re right and everyone else is wrong; I work with a bunch of these maroons.

I scratch my head when I listen to some of them and think ‘How could anyone believe this garbage,’ but believe it, they do. The problem is that their warped views seem to spread like a fungus, with more brain dead robots joining their ranks each day to the detriment of those of us who are reasonable human beings.

I can’t believe this is what we’ve become still, there are those of us who hold on to our traditional values and have a firm grasp of right vs. wrong. Here’s hoping that some day, a very hard 2 X 4 will smack ’em all upside the head. Alan Simpson, the Senator from Wyoming calls senior citizens the

    with 310 million teats.

Here’s a response in a letter from PATTY MYERS in Montana … I think
she is a little ticked off! She also tells it like it is!

“Hey Alan, let’s get a few things straight!!!!!

    1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole (tit)
    for FIFTY YEARS.

    2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I
was 15 years old. I am now 63).

    3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other
Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for
decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give
OUR money to a bunch of zero losers in return for votes, thus
bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme
that would make Bernie Madoff proud.

    4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and “your ilk”
pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors
    nearing retirement and moved the
goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age, 67. NOW, you and your
“shill commission” are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

    5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into
Medicare from Day One, and now “you morons” propose to change the rules
of the game. Why? Because “you idiots” mismanaged other parts of the
economy to such an extent that you need to steal our money from
    Medicare to pay the bills.

    6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes
our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again.
Why? Because you “incompetent bastards” spent our money so profligately
that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now,
you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off
    YOUR debt.

To add insult to injury, you label us “greedy” for calling “bullshit”
to your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions
    for YOU:

    1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during
    your pathetic 50-year political career?

    2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career,
and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the
    American taxpayers?

    3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?
    4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you
proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or as usual,
have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called
Congress who are the “greedy” ones. It is you and your fellow nutcase
thieves who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from
    millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers.

And for what? Votes and your job and retirement security at our
    expense, you lunk-headed, leech.

That’s right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole
purpose of advancing your pathetic, political careers. You know it, we
know it, and you know that we know it.

And you can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bitch. NO, I
    did not stutter.

P.S. And stop calling Social Security benefits “entitlements”. WHAT
    AN INSULT!!!!

I have been paying in to the SS system for 45 years “It’s my
money”-give it back to me the way the system was designed, and stop
patting yourself on the back like you are being generous by doling out
    these monthly checks.
