NC job growth dismal, Greensboro News Record, February 11, 2012, Guilford County and North Carolina 9.9 percent unemployent, 446000 jobless statewide

“the Times of the nineteenth of December had published the official forecasts of the output of various classes of consumption goods in the fourth quarter of 1983, which was also the sixth quarter of the Ninth Three-Year Plan. Today’s issue contained a statement of the actual output, from which it appeared that the forecasts were in every instance grossly wrong. Winston’s job was to rectify the original figures by making them agree with the later ones.”…George Orwell, “1984″

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed
–if all records told the same tale–then the lie passed into
history and became truth. “Who controls the past,” ran the
Party slogan, “controls the future: who controls the present
controls the past.”…George Orwell, “1984″

Charlotte, NC is hosting the Democrat Convention in NC this year. The North Carolina State Motto is “Esse quam videri”, to be rather than to seem. The
Greensboro News Record presented the article below, once again on the same front page as a UNC University System tuition hike article, just as they did a few
weeks ago. I was pleased to see the News Record reporting on the negative jobs situation in NC but this was not presented by them on the internet, therefore
I was compelled to pick up the slack. I didnt want to “Videri quam esse”, you know, seem rather than be. For some reason the News Record does not make all of their print articles readily available on the internet. They must have a good reason, although I cannot discern it.

More Obama good news.
From the Greensboro News Record February 11, 2012.
“Outlook for job growth muted”

“Guilford County and North Carolina share a dubious distinction. Over the past 12 years, neither has logged any job growth.

Put another way, there were fewer people working statewide and countywide in December 2011 than in December 1999.”

“And the suffering continues.

While the job market showed signs of growth last year, both Guilford and the state ended 2011 with more people unemployed than was the case the previous
December.

In Guilford , nearly 24,500 didn’t have jobs; statewide, the number surpassed 446,000.

And both the county and the state ended the year with jobless rates of 9.9 percent. That’s equal to or higher than the rates a year earlier.”

“At the current rate of growth–adding 8,300 annually–it will take 3.5 years–or until 2016–to regain the positions lost during and after the Great recession.

“Looking ahead, Quinterno said he expects more of the same this year.

“Absent robust job growth, joblessness and associated hardships will remain widespread,” he wrote. “2012 could well be the fifth consecutive year of negative or minimal job growth in North Carolina.”

After reading the back and forth about efforts at the state level to keep Obama off of the ballot, I’ve come to the conclusion more than ever that none of the efforts, whether by citizen complaints or efforts to change the state laws, or whether by court cases, is going to succeed.

We are under a dictatorship already for practical purposes, and when that happens, the DOJ, other governmental agencies, and the court system, whether administrative or otherwise, are controlled, so that all efforts to hamper or remove the dictator are thwarted in one way or another. Only the ballot box remains, and that is susceptible to fraud and manipulation.
It is getting more dangerous by the hour.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, just about sums up our elected oath takers, and representatives. From President to judges, they’re all beholding to the system, regardless of their oaths, they have no loyalty to the Constitution. Are they traitors? You decide. But until the rule of law is re-established, no one will be hiring anybody, into this corrupt atmosphere.

As long as Ron Paul continues getting his share of delegates this doesn’t really matter…..I do have a hard time believing this though seeing as Dr. Paul has been ahead the whole time in MAINE….who is reporting this???

    Right on!
We have lost control and the ship is going in circles.
We got to re-think this through and perhaps we need to go to plan B!

I am amazed at how many people are just now figuring it out, (four years too late) that Obama doesn’t qualify to be President, because of who his father was. Welcome to the land of the “birthers”.

  6. who is reporting this???

  7. It appears the Ron Paul message is not resonating with Republicans. I hope he sticks around though. Newt is done, his Sheldon Adleson money is gone.

As far as Santorum, he will run out of money as donors will line up with Mitt.

Seems a little premature to me. Sorry.

  10. Seeing as how Rick only has 1 superpac sugar daddy, who is not as generous as Newtards. He has a lot of money to raise in a short time.
A poor showing in Maine ain’t going to help.

My prediction stands and not premature, just fact. Sorry……

    Show me the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I’ve been saying all along, it’s going to take 1 Billion to beat the usurper.

    ————————————————————————————————–
Before his triumphs on Tuesday, Santorum had been dismissed as an also-ran in the race, having finished in the back of the pack in recent primaries and caucuses and trailing badly in the money race. But he now has won in one more state than Romney, who has three victories to date.

In 2011, Santorum raised $2.2 million, according to year-end filings. Romney raised $56.8 million.

  13. Pat @ 8:38…so true and tragic too. Last night I was just reading a story about her on that UK Mail Online website and they had these photos of her out partying in L.A.(I think) She looked really bad in most of the photos as if she were high on drugs or alcohol. I wish I could bring you the photos but I’m clueless on the computer.

  18. @ observer

    Carville, seriously? LMAO

  19. I keep hearing the term “leader” when referencing those in Washington. I believe it has become a coloquialism. People really do need to understand that there is a vast difference between a leader and a “representative”…the term “leader” implies that one is somehow obligated to follow that person. The term “representative” implies that the person in fact “represents” another and is bound by the will of the person being represented. These “leaders” as we prefer to address them, are a bad joke at best when it comes to the actual task of leadership and thus should be looked upon accordingly. True leaders “inspire” those who would be “led” thus “earning” that position (as opposed to buying it) by way of the inspiration they envoke in their followers. Think about this the next time you use the term…are you really “inspired”?…By virtue of the fact that those in washington are “voted” into office implies that they do< in fact "represent" us. They are, however, more than happy to don the cloak of "leadership"…as long as we allow them to do it…

  26. Just Wondering…….If we are to DO AWAY with the military, perhaps those who advocate this will tell us who will defend our country when the Jihadists land on our shores. Do you think that civilians will stand up and fight. Most will RUN FOR COVER TO HIDE. I would suspect that the people who advocate the destruction of our military services will indeed be among those who RUN and HIDE.

  27. On the news this morning was a nice little morsel……….I think that everybody will be really happy to learn that the cost of food rose two and one half percent over the last 6 months. Average checkout for a family of 4 in NY or LA averages $350.00. And you are damned lucky to see 350.00. Up in alaska and the Pacific Northwest the same amount of groceries will be in excess of $400.00. Hope all you folks in Seattle really LOVE your Messiah. You gotta eat too.

  28. I guess the cost of food is part of the HOPEY CHANGEY Soetoro THING. Like everything else somebody has to pay for all the FREE FOOD that THE US GOVERNMENT is HANDING out to people who REFUSE TO work, and instead lay around STONED OUT OF THEIR MINDS on drugs. Trading food stamps for drugs. The food stamps are our new MONETARY system.

  29. G’NITE ALL, GOD BLESS.

In my opinion, it will be those like you and I. But, I can’t speak for you, but I will pick and choose who I defend. No elected official will be on my list to be defended.

  39. On November 16, 2011, I was layed off from my job. I received a letter that explained that the company was downsizing. In the satate of Florida as an American born citizen and Florida resident I was denied the ability to collect unemployment. I wonder If American citizens in this particular situation are part of the Presidents unemployment numbers. My guess is that they are not.

  40. Best wishes Janet.
