Obama narcissism, Barack Obama narcissistic impulses, Not about me, This isn’t about me, Obama lies, Radical socialist associations

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”… William Shakespeare “Hamlet”

Everything that Barack Obama does can be explained by the following:

Radical and  socialist associations

David Limbaugh wrote an excellent article about Obama’s narcissism on January 25, 2010.

“‘It’s Not About Me’ — Wink, Wink”

“The more painful exposure we have to Barack Obama — and we’re talking hyper-exposure at this point — the more we realize how narcissistic he is. Indeed, we are treated to this overexposure precisely because of his narcissistic impulses. He can’t keep himself out of the spotlight.
So it was that on the heels of his crushing personal defeat in the Massachusetts senatorial election last week, Obama’s principal reaction was, “This isn’t about me.”

When someone says that one time or a few times, you might believe him. But when he says it repeatedly (see below), you have to conclude he is protesting too much and means just the opposite.”

“His entire domestic and foreign policy agenda is so much about him that he insists on cramming it down our throats even though the polls overwhelmingly indicate that we Americans do not want it and, more importantly, that it is bankrupting this nation and making us less safe. That’s not selflessness. It’s self-indulgence and conceit to an obscene degree. He is so brainwashed in Marxist and appeasement ideologies that he continues to believe in their maxims in the face of their historical failure and of the miserable failure of his own agenda in the here and now. He is so convinced he knows better than we do what is in our best interests that he must thwart our ignorant will.”

“–On Feb. 15, 1990, after becoming “the first black president of the influential Harvard Law Review,” Obama said, “I realized my election was not about me, but it was about us, about what we could do and what we could accomplish.”
–On Nov. 2, 2004, when Obama visited the campus of the University of Illinois during his campaign for U.S. senator, he said: “Ultimately, this election is not about me. … It’s about the willingness of our citizens to get engaged and get involved.”
–On Dec. 11, 2006, in a speech in New Hampshire, Obama said, “It’s not about me.” But, according to an NPR reporter, “it really is all about him.”
–On Dec. 10, 2007, Obama said, “This campaign is not about me; it is about the hundreds of volunteers … in Rhode Island … and the millions of people across the country who want change we can believe in.”
–On Dec. 14, 2007, when asked about a New Year’s resolution, Obama said he needed to keep reminding himself, “This is not about me.”
–On Aug. 28, 2008, Obama said in his acceptance speech, “This election has never been about me; it’s about you.”
–On July 20, 2009, Obama said (exactly as he repeated following the Massachusetts election): “This isn’t about me. This isn’t about politics. This is about a health care system that is breaking America’s families, breaking America’s businesses and breaking America’s economy.”
Whom do you think it’s about?”

  1. The Chicago Observer recognized Obama narcissism back in April, 2009. Everytime he makes a speech, it’s all about him. “Criticism about Obama back here has centered on his spinelessness and unwillingness to defend his country from attack. Yes, that’s part of it. But a bigger part is the absolute obsession of this young man with himself-in contrast to concern about the country.”

  2. Great article by Chuck Baldwin

America’s Ship of State is currently rudderless. And as long as we are expecting someone in Washington, D.C., to fix the problem, we will continue to be lost–adrift in a sea of evil and criminality.

To get America’s Ship of State back on course, you and I must get back on course. And it starts by being willing to OPEN OUR EYES TO PAINFUL TRUTH.

  3. Is there a greater terrorist recruiting tool than closing Guantanamo and giving them high profile trials in the City they are intent on destroying?

“I Will Protect the ‘Constitutional Rights’ of Foreign Terrorists At All Costs… Even If, By Doing So, I Put the Lives of Innocent Americans in Jeopardy.”

Is That What Barack Obama Is Essentially Telling Us?

David Beamer, the father of Todd Beamer, who perished on United Flight 93 while trying to re-take the plane from terrorists on 9-11, said of the decision to bring Khalid Sheik Mohammed to New York:

“Our enemies must be thrilled. We are willingly handing them an opportunity to inflict economic harm on New York City, keep their cause in the headlines, gather new intelligence, create new terror strategies, stimulate recruiting, celebrate new found rights, and foist a fresh round of pain and suffering upon their victims.”

Here’s what we’re going to do:

Congressman Vern Buchanan just introduced H.R. 4463, the “Military Tribunals for Terrorists Act of 2010” … a simple piece of legislation which specifically says, “that all foreign terrorists with links to terrorist networks who attack the United States or its Government be considered enemy combatants to be tried by military tribunals instead of civilian courts.”

With your help, we’re going to bombard our elected officials with Blast Faxes demanding that they rush H.R. 4463 through both Houses of Congress and slap it on Barack Obama’s desk without further delay.

And, when we do, we’re going to make it perfectly clear that there can be no middle ground or half-measures on H.R. 4463. We’re going to make it perfectly clear to our elected officials that they either stand with the American people, and fast-track this legislation through Congress, or they stand with the enemies of America.

After all, if Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi can burn the midnight oil to ram so-called “health care” legislation down the throats of the American people, then our elected officials can most certainly do the same for legislation that is vital to the national security of the United States of America.

Use the hyperlink below to send your urgent and personalized Blast Faxes to each and every member of the Republican and Democratic Leadership of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. Or alternately, you can send over 530 urgent, personalized faxes to all the members of the House and the Senate.

Let them know in no uncertain terms that the Obama Administration’s handling of foreign terrorists presents a clear and present danger to Americans at home and abroad. Tell them that if they can burn the midnight oil to try and ram so-called “health care” legislation down the throats of the American people, they can most certainly do the same for legislation that is vital to the security of our nation and its people.

Demand that they pass H.R. 4463 into law without delay.

  4. Obama & Goons are Jaded by the Thoughts of Their Own Glory!

Obama’s second year is beginning miserably for him. The more he insists upon “staying the course” the more enemies he makes of not only of patriotic Americans, but people who supported him–like Oprahand others.

You are right–he and his advisors are not that smart. That is why I predict the more their cages are rattled, the more mistakes they will make. The more mistakes they make the more people see them for the power grabbing/lusting dictators they are. The more backlash they will get. The more backlash they get the greater their desperation will increase. Then they will make just one more final mistake that will blow them out of the whitehouse and into jail!

Remove the narcissist from office in 2010. Failure is not an option. Yes we can! Yes we will!

  5. Historian Howard Zinn: “Largest Lie” is the “U.S. War on Terrorism”

    by Sherwood Ross

The “largest lie,” wrote hisorian Howard Zinn, who died yesterday at age 87, is that “everything the United States does is to be pardoned because we are engaged in a ‘war on terrorism.’”

“This ignores the fact that war is itself terrorism, that the barging into people’s homes and taking away family members and subjecting them to torture, that is terrorism, that invading and bombing other countries does not give us more security but less security.”

“In an article published previously in “The Long Term View” magazine of the Massachusetts School of Law, Zinn said that in the Fallujah area of Iraq Knight Ridder reporters found there was no Ba’athist or Sunni conspiracy against the U.S., “only people ready to fight because their relatives had been hurt or killed, or they themselves had been humiliated by home searches and road stops.”

“Zinn, popularly known as the people’s historian, pointed out that the U.S. may have liberated Iraq from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein but afterwards it became Iraq’s occupier. He noted this is the same fate that befell Cuba after the U.S. liberated it from Spain in 1898. In both nations, the U.S. established military bases and U.S. corporations moved in to profit from the upheaval.”

  7. Obama, Alinsky, and Scapegoat

“Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.”

  8. Obama, Alinsky, and Scapegoat

Scapegoating is very simple, and very malevolent. It is the defining feature of human destructiveness. All the truly irrational actions in human history involve displaced rage. Pathological societies in the world are always torn by a search for new scapegoats.

Scapegoating is a really effective manipulation for mobs that have long ago decided that their real enemy is… anybody. Because that overwhelming feeling of rising rage matters much more than whoever is the victim of the moment. That overwhelming tension is intolerable and seeks an outlet.

  10. That was absolutely my next line of thought. After his State of Obama speech I am absolutely convinced Prez Steve is clinically pathological.

Consider that ever since his campaign began (and yes, we all know he’s still campaigning in his dementia) others have been writing his speeches. That’s all he’s been doing, reading off other people’s words that he’s already twisted, stretched and edited to stroke his own frail ego. This is worse than propoganda, this is a man in serious distress that will eventually affect us all. Prez Steve is one effed up mother…

    Outing Obama’s Internet Brownshirts

    by John Charlton

Hitler’s Brown Shirts was a group of violent political operatives, under the leadership of Sodomites and Sadomasochists, who made it a point to terrorize his political opponents.

(Jan. 26, 2010) — Recent reports have brought national attention to the fact that Obama has implemented Cass Sunstein’s strategy of cognitive dissonance in the creation of Internet teams which harass citizens with invective on Internet blogs, forums, chat rooms, and websites. Several sites have been attacked by this corps of Brown Shirts, others hacked, others harassed.

The Post & Email has substantial internal evidence that there are individuals who post the same identical comments over and over in favor of Obama and attacking his critics.

  12. Excellent article on Corporations as a Person

    Snipped from:

    • Under the Constitution, corporations had no rights.

    • The word “corporation” appears nowhere in the Constitution.

    • The doctrine of “corporate personhood” is based on a legally meaningless “obiter dictum,” or offhand remark, made by Chief Justice Morrison Remick Waite before the decision was read in Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad (1886).

    • [T]his fallacious precedent is still cited as if it were the law of the land

As a direct result of the legal fiction of “corporate personhood,” corporations have usurped the people’s constitutional rights. With the powerful voice of money and day-to-day access to the members of Congress, they’re destroying both our government and our legal system.

It’s no wonder the laws, often written by corporate lobbyists and rubber-stamped by Congress, treat the people as second class citizens. After all, the people are only the labor costs of corporations, commodities to be acquired or disposed of at will.

Today approximately five massive corporations dominate every sector of the marketplace. Banking, credit cards and mortgage lending are controlled by Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citi, JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo. ExxonMobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, General Electric and Valero “own” energy. The production and distribution of food is dominated by ADM, Nestle, Cargill, ConAgra, Monsanto and Tyson. Kaiser, Aetna, CIGNA, Humana and United Health Group control HMOs. Wellpoint, AIG and Berkshire-Hathaway dominate insurance. Lily, Merck, Pfizer and GSK “run” drugs. Pioneer, Sequoia, Diebold and E.S.&S. control our vote. And the information we receive is manufactured by NewsCorp (FOX), General Electric (NBC), Disney (ABC), Viacom (CBS) and Time Warner (CNN)…

At one time broadcasters would have lost their license if they “knowingly transmitted false or deceptive signals or communications,” but by 2003 a Florida Court would be able to find for Rupert Murdoch’s FOX News that “there is no rule against distorting or falsifying news in the United States.”

And since the media is corporate property, corporations have the right not only to decide whose political speech is heard and whose is ignored, but to use their free speech “right” tobroadcast their interests as news, true or not, without having to present other points of view.

***Though a lengthy article, it is full of historical and present day facts/info. It’s well worth the time spent to read it. Especially knowing corporations govern this country***

  15. The people are rarely in the presence of “their” representatives, which gives them little chance to actually talk to anyone who might be in a position to champion their interests.

The people were not asked if they thought merging commercial and investment banks was a good idea when Glass-Steagall was gutted.

No one asked the people if media concentration to the point where five large corporations control our access to information was the smart thing to do.

NAFTA was enacted over the people’s protest, downsizing and outsourcing our industrial capacity.

The people were not consulted when personal bankruptcy laws were made even more punitive, or when credit cards companies were given the right to raise their rates to the roof at will.

And soon the people may be forced to buy the over-priced products of insurance corporations with the passage of the Obama Administration’s “healthcare” bill.
But the CORPORATIONS that benefit from this legislation, and their lobbyists, HAVE UNLIMITED ACCESS to the people’s “representatives.”  They speak freely and loudly to them with money.  When and if the people do hear anything about what’s going on in Congress, it’s from a media 80% owned by those same corporations, so just perhaps, the reportage is designed not to bite the hand that feeds it.  The people now have no idea when Congress is in the act of selling them down the river for some cold, hard cash.

January 29-31, 2010 — Landrieu phone tapper appeared in U.S. war zone

Stan Dai, the Republican conservative operative who was arrested on January 26 with what was described as sophisticated eavesdropping equipment while parked in a car near Senator Mary Landrieu’s office in New Orleans, was not only involved as Associate Director of a CIA-funded program at Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC, known as the Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence, but also appears in a photograph on his Facebook page in what has been described by one seasoned military veteran as likely being Iraq. Dai is seen standing in front of what appears to be an armored personnel carrier being used as a military checkpoint.

Dai also claims to have been the operations officer for a Department of Defense “irregular warfare” fellowship program. Irregular warfare programs within the Pentagon were the brainchild of former Defense Deputy Secretary Paul Wolfowitz who ordered the strategy published in the Quadrennial Defense Review. Irregular warfare strategy emphasizes the “shock and awe” doctrine, as well as long-duration unconventional warfare and counterinsurgency operation.

Dai was also an Undergraduate Fellow on Terrorism for the neoconservative Foundation for the Defense of the Democracies, the neocon think tank operation that is linked to Wolfowitz and his neocon friends.

The U.S. Attorney for Eastern Louisiana, Jim Letten, appointed by George W. Bush, is refusing to say why the eavesdropping equipment found in Dai’s car is not mentioned in the criminal complaint. One possible explanation is that the equipment is not commercially available and can only be procured from Dai’s part-time employers at the CIA or Department of Defense.

Basel and O’Keefe (of the ACORN Pimp/Prostitute scandal) are alumni of the Arlington, Virginia-based Leadership Institute, a cult-like group linked to both the secretive “Christian” Fellowship Foundation, also known as “The Family,” of Arlington, Virginia and Pat Robertson’s evangelical mega-operation in Virginia Beach. Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, who is facing criticism for the use of Virginia’s House of Delegates in a GOP rebuttal to President Obama’s State of the Union address, and Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, are also closely linked to the Arlington-based secretive Christian groups. The Fellowship Foundation’s estate in Arlington, Virginia was acquired from Howard Hughes in the 1960s. The estate was used as a CIA safe house during the ownership of Hughes and the Fellowship’s enigmatic Douglas Coe.

  33. Statement [THE TRUTH] from James O’Keefe

The government has now confirmed what has always been clear: No one tried to wiretap or bug Senator Landrieu’s office. Nor did we try to cut or shut down her phone lines. Reports to this effect over the past 48 hours are inaccurate and false.

As an investigative journalist, my goal is to expose corruption and lack of concern for citizens by government and other institutions, as I did last year when our investigations revealed the massive corruption and fraud perpetrated by ACORN. For decades, investigative journalists have used a variety of tactics to try to dig out and reveal the truth.

I learned from a number of sources that many of Senator Landrieu’s constituents were having trouble getting through to her office to tell her that they didn’t want her taking millions of federal dollars in exchange for her vote on the healthcare bill. When asked about this, Senator Landrieu’s explanation was that, “Our lines have been jammed for weeks.” I decided to investigate why a representative of the people would be out of touch with her constituents for “weeks” because her phones were broken. In investigating this matter, we decided to visit Senator Landrieu’s district office – the people’s office – to ask the staff if their phones were working.

On reflection, I could have used a different approach to this investigation, particularly given the sensitivities that people understandably have about security in a federal building. The sole intent of our investigation was to determine whether or not Senator Landrieu was purposely trying to avoid constituents who were calling to register their views to her as their Senator. We video taped the entire visit, the government has those tapes, and I’m eager for them to be released because they refute the false claims being repeated by much of the mainstream media.

It has been amazing to witness the journalistic malpractice committed by many of the organizations covering this story. MSNBC falsely claimed that I violated a non-existent “gag order.” The Associated Press incorrectly reported that I “broke in” to an office which is open to the public. The Washington Post has now had to print corrections in two stories on me. And these are just a few examples of inaccurate and false reporting. The public will judge whether reporters who can’t get their facts straight have the credibility to question my integrity as a journalist.

NONE , zip nadda of what you posted above on corporations were part of the case. If you don’t like the decision than you are like OBAMA, why do you think OBAMA didn’t like the decision, uh? Think it through, carefully. It has to do with his disdain for the Constitution and his ilk who want to CHANGE it without the 75% majority required to do so. That is it in nutshell. If you don’t like it, quit spinning it out. Change it, and ifyou can’t change it , stop your whining because you sound like a cry baby.

Justice Kennedy ripped McCain-Feingold to shreds:

The First Amendment does not permit laws that force speakers to retain a campaign finance attorney, conduct demographic marketing re-search, or seek declaratory rulings before discussing the most salient political issues of our day. Prolix laws chill speech for the same reason that vague laws chill speech: People “of common intelligence must necessarily guess at [the law’s] meaning and differ as to its application.”

    And there was this:

Courts, too, are bound by the First Amendment. We must decline to draw, and then redraw, constitutional lines based on the particular media or technology used to disseminate political speech from a particular speaker. It must be noted, moreover, that this undertaking would require substantial litigation over an extended time, all to interpret a law that beyond doubt discloses serious First Amendment flaws. The interpretive process itself would create an inevitable, pervasive, and serious risk of chilling protected speech pending the drawing of fine distinctions that, in the end, would themselves be questionable. First Amendment standards, however, “must give the benefit of any doubt to protecting rather than stifling speech.”

    The bottom line:

The First Amendment protects political speech;and disclosure permits citizens and shareholders to react to the speech of corporate entities in a proper way. This transparency enables the electorate to make informed decisions and give proper weight to different speakers and messages.

  41. The interpretive process itself would create an inevitable, pervasive, and serious risk of chilling protected speech pending the drawing of fine distinctions that, in the end, would themselves be questionable. First Amendment standards, however, “must give the benefit of any doubt to protecting rather than stifling speech.”

  46. Found this fictional tale earlier today which has nagged at me all day.

Being a former landlord, many of my tenants left lots of things behind for me to throw out. However, if I found something important I’d try to track down the tenant to let him/her know they’d left something of importance behind. If they contacted me, I’d arrange a time for them to pick it up. If they didn’t I’d either forget about it or throw it away.

But what if I didn’t know how to track the recent tenant down? Or what if I was a lazy landlord and didn’t clean everything out after the tenant left? Say a shoebox left in an attic. If the tenant contacted the LL to see if he found anything he may have left behind the LL would be truthful and say no.

So, what if the shoebox was the only true statement in 0blahblah’s fairytale and he intentionally included this nugget in his book for a completely different reason. Say, in an effort to actually find his shoebox. Hoping the individual who had it knew he had it and would read 0blahblah’s book and come forward with it?

Could it be that all this time the shoebox was sitting in a landlords attic or in one of the apartments oblahblah lived in? So a new tenant moves in, lives in the apt for years and when he gets ready to move he cleans out the place and holds a yard sale? Of which one of the items was the shoebox?

    The Shoe Box

Day One: In a small apartment house just south of the Ventura Freeway and north of Yosemite Drive near the campus of Occidental College on a street named Destiny Lane, the owner is cleaning out the attic of his small apartment house in preparation for its sale. He is planning to hold a large yard sell the next day. In a corner of the attic he finds a small shoe box filled will various old papers letters and photos. He glances at them only briefly before setting the box aside with the other items slated for the yard sell.

Day Two: Early that day Mr. I. Foundit, a name that will echo throughout history strolls across the lawn at the house on Destiny Lane and looks at the many items filling the lawn. Mysteriously he is drawn toward the small shoe box marked one dollar. He picks it up and looks carefully at its contents. His face turns white and his hands began to tremble as he shuffles through the items in the box. Composing himself he quickly walks over to the man in charge, pays the one dollar and returns to his car.

Returning home, Foundit, a staunch conservative enters his house locking the door behind him, quickly drawing the blinds and sits himself at the kitchen table as he spreads the contents of the small shoe box on the table. He realizes he has a treasure trove. This simple man suddenly is holding the fate of the nation, and most certainly the fate of Obama in his hands. For in the tiny shoe box he finds not only youthful pictures of Barack Obama, but documents relating to his admission to Occidental College. Documents in which Barry, now Barack claimed to be a non-citizen, a foreign born student seeking to enroll under that colleges special program for foreigners. He also finds a copy of a Kenyan birth certificate.

Mr. Foundit’s first impulse is to pick up the phone and call the newspapers and then the TV networks — then he’s suddenly faced with the reality, the truth — these guys would never believe him! What to do? What to do? He paces back and forth almost becoming a nervous wreck. He decides to sleep on it — if that would be possible.

Day Three: After a sleepless night Foundit springs to his feet — he has made a decision! He often visits various conservative blogs so the solution is simple, he will send off copies of his great find to some of the best conservative blogs in the blogosphere. He carefully makes out his list then begins contacting and emailing the documents around the net.

Day Four: The Internet explodes. Blogs coast to coast have picked up the story, first a dozen or so and then hundreds and by days end thousands of blogs are posting the story. But none mention Foundit — this was his wish.

Day Five: The blogosphere is ablaze with these new revelations, but strangely the MSM and even FOX News remain silent afraid to be associated with the “Birthers.” The roar on the Internet continues for day after day and grows even more intense.

Day Ten: Finally on day 10 — FOX News airs the story for the first time, after confirming the validity of the documents. The nation is stunned! The White House is silent.

Day Eleven: FOX News interrupts with a breaking story: sources inside the Selective Service System have provided FOX with a letter dated June 2 1980, stating that he, Barack Hussein Obama II, was not a citizen and therefore not required to register with them. This was in reply to an earlier letter sent to him by the SSS.

Day Twelve: Finally the MSM are forced to carry the story. Eyes across the nation are now looking to the White House, where all daily briefings have been cancelled — the voice of Obama, Robert Gibbs is silent!

Day Thirteen: Rumors are flying that Obama has resigned and that Joe Biden has already been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. Observers near the White House report seeing Marine One leave and head in the direction of Andrews Air Force Base.

Day Fourteen: Somewhere at his undisclosed location, believed to be on a small Caribbean Island, Foundit, “pops a top” on a cold one, as he looks at the small Shoe Box.

This is of course a work of fiction by Ron Russell , but perhaps exposing truths hidden just below the surface.

Why do I get this feeling that Mr. Russell is trying to tell us something.

  53. Unbelievable Amazing Speech — Part 1 of 3.

OK – as I’ve been promising – here is my observations and analysis of The Speech.

I found a transcript of the speech – by ABC News – which I believe is a quite accurate “dictation” of the speech as was actually given. I went through it and extracted a bunch of focused statements. I have been quite thorough and deliberate and have made great effort to use the exact words and not take anything out of context. Of course, I provide my usual guarantee – don’t believe me – look it up yourself.

The unbelievable and amazing part is how good are these statements. Who can argue with these? Good values, good ideas – some of this stuff is actually brilliant! Further, as you read through this, there are actually very few objectionable parts. (I wonder who wrote it?)

Soooo – the only conclusion I can draw is that this guy is either a) a lot better leader and more level-headed than many people give him credit for, or b) he is a dangerous psychopath, silver tongued devil, and consummate liar. There does not seem to be a logical 3rd choice.

Despite all our divisions and disagreements; our hesitations and our fears; America prevailed because we chose to move forward as one nation, and one people.

[Amiercans] share a stubborn resilience in the face of adversity. After one of the most difficult years in our history, they remain busy building cars and teaching kids; starting businesses and going back to school. They’re coaching little league and helping their neighbors. Despite our hardships, our union is strong. We do not give up. We do not quit. We do not allow fear or division to break our spirit. In this new decade, it’s time the American people get a government that matches their decency; that embodies their strength.

[We] passed 25 different tax cuts. We cut taxes for 95% of working families. We cut taxes for small businesses. We cut taxes for first-time homebuyers. We cut taxes for parents trying to care for their children. We cut taxes for 8 million Americans paying for college. And we haven’t raised income taxes by a single dime on a single person.

The true engine of job creation in this country will always be America’s businesses. We should start where most new jobs do – in small businesses. Through sheer grit and determination, these companies have weathered the recession and are ready to grow.

I am proposing a new small business tax credit – one that will go to over one million small businesses who hire new workers or raise wages. While we’re at it, let’s also eliminate all capital gains taxes on small business investment; and provide a tax incentive for all businesses, large and small, to invest in new plants and equipment.

We can put Americans to work today building the infrastructure of tomorrow.

It’s time to finally slash the tax breaks for companies that ship our jobs overseas and give those tax breaks to companies that create jobs in the United States of America.

The House has passed a jobs bill that includes some of these steps. As the first order of business this year, I urge the Senate to do the same. People are out of work. They are hurting. They need our help. And I want a jobs bill on my desk without delay.

The only way to move to full employment is to lay a new foundation for long-term economic growth.

I do not accept second-place for the United States of America. As hard as it may be, as uncomfortable and contentious as the debates may be, it’s time to get serious about fixing the problems that are hampering our growth.

One place to start is serious financial reform. But that can only happen if we guard against the same recklessness that nearly brought down our entire economy.

  54. Unbelievable Amazing Speech — Part 2 of 3.

But to create more of these clean energy jobs, we need more production, more efficiency, more incentives. That means building a new generation of safe, clean nuclear power plants in this country. It means making tough decisions about opening new offshore areas for oil and gas development.

We need to export more of our goods. Because the more products we make and sell to other countries, the more jobs we support right here in America.

This year, we have broken through the stalemate between left and right by launching a national competition to improve our schools. The idea here is simple: instead of rewarding failure, we only reward success. Instead of funding the status quo, we only invest in reform.

It is precisely to relieve the burden on middle-class families that we still need health insurance reform.

Now let’s be clear I did not choose to tackle this issue to get some legislative victory under my belt. And by now it should be fairly obvious that I didn’t take on health care because it was good politics.

It would give small businesses and uninsured Americans a chance to choose an affordable health care plan in a competitive market. It would require every insurance plan to cover preventive care.

Our approach would preserve the right of Americans who have insurance to keep their doctor and their plan. It would reduce costs and premiums for millions of families and businesses.

And according to the Congressional Budget Office, our approach would bring down the deficit by as much as $1 trillion over the next two decades.

If anyone from either party has a better approach that will bring down premiums, bring down the deficit, cover the uninsured, strengthen Medicare for seniors, and stop insurance company abuses, let me know. Let us find a way to come together and finish the job for the American people.

I’m proposing specific steps to pay for the $1 trillion that it took to rescue the economy last year.

Starting in 2011, we are prepared to freeze government spending for three years. Spending related to our national security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security will not be affected. And if I have to enforce this discipline by veto, I will.

We will continue to go through the budget line by line to eliminate programs that we can’t afford and don’t work.

Now, even after paying for what we spent on my watch, we will still face the massive deficit we had when I took office. More importantly, the cost of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security will continue to skyrocket. That’s why I’ve called for a bipartisan, Fiscal Commission, modeled on a proposal by Republican Judd Gregg and Democrat Kent Conrad. This can’t be one of those Washington gimmicks that lets us pretend we solved a problem. The Commission will have to provide a specific set of solutions by a certain deadline.

Let’s invest in our people without leaving them a mountain of debt. Let’s meet our responsibility to the citizens who sent us here. Let’s try common sense.

We face a deficit of trust – deep and corrosive doubts about how Washington works that have been growing for years. To close that credibility gap we must take action on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue to end the outsized influence of lobbyists; to do our work openly; and to give our people the government they deserve.

That’s why we’ve excluded lobbyists from policy-making jobs or seats on federal boards and commissions.

It’s time to require lobbyists to disclose each contact they make on behalf of a client with my Administration or Congress. And it’s time to put strict limits on the contributions that lobbyists give to candidates for federal office.

I’m also calling on Congress to continue down the path of earmark reform. I’m calling on Congress to publish all earmark requests on a single website before there’s a vote so that the American people can see how their money is being spent.

    I haven’t read “Dreams of William Ayers”…

Does the FRAUD state that he lost a shoe box?

  56. Unbelievable Amazing Speech — Part 3 of 3.

Of course, none of these reforms will even happen if we don’t also reform how we work with one another. These disagreements, about the role of government in our lives, about our national priorities and our national security, have been taking place for over two hundred years. They are the very essence of our democracy. But what frustrates the American people is a Washington where every day is Election Day. We cannot wage a perpetual campaign where the only goal is to see who can get the most embarrassing headlines about their opponent.

We were sent here to serve our citizens, not our ambitions.

Some of the unity we felt after 9/11 has dissipated. We can argue all we want about who’s to blame for this, but I am not interested in re-litigating the past. I know that all of us love this country. All of us are committed to its defense.

Since the day I took office, we have renewed our focus on the terrorists who threaten our nation. And in the last year, hundreds of Al Qaeda’s fighters and affiliates, including many senior leaders, have been captured or killed far more than in 2008.

In Afghanistan, we are increasing our troops and training Afghan Security Forces so they can begin to take the lead in July of 2011, and our troops can begin to come home. We will reward good governance, reduce corruption, and support the rights of all Afghans – men and women alike.

As we take the fight to al Qaeda, we are responsibly leaving Iraq to its people.

Even as we prosecute two wars, we are also confronting perhaps the greatest danger to the American people – the threat of nuclear weapons. And at April’s Nuclear Security Summit, we will bring forty-four nations together behind a clear goal: securing all vulnerable nuclear materials around the world in four years, so that they never fall into the hands of terrorists.

And as Iran’s leaders continue to ignore their obligations, there should be no doubt: they, too, will face growing consequences.

We are working through the G-20 to sustain a lasting global recovery.

We are helping developing countries to feed themselves, and continuing the fight against HIV/AIDS. And we are launching a new initiative that will give us the capacity to respond faster and more effectively to bio-terrorism or an infectious disease – a plan that will counter threats at home, and strengthen public health abroad.

We find unity in our incredible diversity, drawing on the promise enshrined in our Constitution: the notion that we are all created equal, that no matter who you are or what you look like, if you abide by the law you should be protected by it; that if you adhere to our common values you should be treated no different than anyone else.

We should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system – to secure our borders, enforce our laws, and ensure that everyone who plays by the rules can contribute to our economy and enrich our nations.

In the end, it is our ideals, our values, that built America. Unfortunately, too many of our citizens have lost faith that our biggest institutions – our corporations, our media, and yes, our government – still reflect these same values. Each time a CEO rewards himself for failure, or a banker puts the rest of us at risk for his own selfish gain, people’s doubts grow. Each time lobbyists game the system or politicians tear each other down instead of lifting this country up, we lose faith. The more that TV pundits reduce serious debates into silly arguments, and big issues into sound bites, our citizens turn away.

Those of us in public office can respond to this reality by playing it safe and avoid telling hard truths. We can do what’s necessary to keep our poll numbers high, and get through the next election instead of doing what’s best for the next generation. But I also know this: if people had made that decision fifty years ago or one hundred years ago or two hundred years ago, we wouldn’t be here tonight. The only reason we are is because generations of Americans were unafraid to do what was hard; to do what was needed even when success was uncertain; to do what it took to keep the dream of this nation alive for their children and grandchildren.

Obama’s Birth Lawyer Files New Lawsuit
January 28th, 2010, 11:11 am · 242 Comments · posted by Martin Wisckol, Politics reporter

Laguna Niguel attorney Orly Taitz was rebuffed in her request to U.S. District Judge David O. Carter to transfer her lawsuit to Judge Royce C. Lambreth. In his Jan. 12 ruling, Carter pointed out that he’d dismissed her effort to have Barack Obama removed as president, so there was no case to transfer.

So on Wednesday, Taitz went ahead and filed a new lawsuit – with Lambreth. She is seeking Obama’s original birth certificate, dismissing his “certificate of live birth” and the declaration of Hawaii’s top public health official as insufficient proof that Obama is a natural-born citizen and eligible to serve as president.

“From birth and until now Mr. Obama had citizenship of and allegiance to three other nations: Great Britain, Kenya and Indonesia,” Taitz writes in her suit, which you can read here.

Taitz, who’s also filed an appeal to her case in San Francisco federal court, explains in her suit that dark forces in the courts and beyond are working against her efforts.

“She (Taitz) was subjected to vicious attacks coming from the media acting as regime official propaganda, from Obama’s supporters and from some judiciary, acting as tools to silence her and intimidate her into dropping legal actions.

“She was subjected to numerous death threats, tampering with her car, when a fumes emissions hose was disconnected and hot combustible fumes were going back to the engine, as she was driving with her three children in the car.

“Several convicted criminals and document forgers were working in concert and appear to be following the same instructions, submitted perjured affidavits to court and forged her signature, in an attempt to influence the judiciary and undermine her in the eyes of the community and undermine her law license….”

She also has dispensed with the clients she has previously listed as plaintiff, naming herself as the sole plaintiff in the new case.

Are there an legal experts out there who can verify that the Quo Warranto Petition for Writ of Mandamus that Taitz is filing her can only be filed against a public officer by the government? I’ve read that, but not yet confirmed it. If you can over a legal citation, that would be great.

  65. Jonah,

Thankyou for that illustrative video on the narcissist. For all intents and purposes, there’s no advantage to distinguishing the narcissist from the narcissistic personality. They are one and the same.

The salient feature, which the good doctor describes eloquently, is the necessary departure from reality that this personality structure gives way to.

When the world is a composite reflective mirror, there is no one else other than one self. Manning summed it up nicely when drawing the comparison to the brief and disastrous rule of Caligula, the Roman Emperor.

I want to highlight what I’ve already posted on this blog and which your tape restates and that is the distinction between the “run of the mill” narcissism and the kind of narcissism Obama portrays.

An anology would be a benign tumour that is painful, interferes with bodily function but is not fatal vs. a malignant one. That’s how important that distinction is. Narcissism at the pathological level is not just a trendy word. It has serious implications.

  66. JustMe:

I read that at the postemail this morning. I think I recognized a couple of other names (at least 1 other) from here too.

  67. JustMe,

A good exposure on Sinclair’s blog with embeded bloggers was a helluva training for anyone.

  68. Interesting that these bloggers are resurfacing. I think the pandemic level must be at the highest level to sound off this alarm. That’s how endangered Obama’s continued presidency is. I don’t mean physically, but constitutionally.

  69. YEP, HERE “IT” IS – from Charlton’s site – link provided earlier on this thread by Jonah…

da verg, is another infamous Obot who claims to use ezdude123@xxx.com (redacted) as his email address and posts from 75.11.185.XXX, which hails from San Diego, California: notorious for his twisted logic, personal attacks, he seems unable to resist attacking a certain woman lawyer who sued Obama.

  70. Venice,

    can’t even imagine.

  71. JustMe,

Obama’s narcissism is implicit in the kind of warfare his bloggers engage in. In your face, crass, manipulative thugs. They reflect who he is , while keeping the One, clean and pure.

  72. I understand that Jimmy Carter had a serious depression while in office. Not having followed his presidency I don’t know what that would be about. If it was his falling numbers, one could understand it.

I wouldn’t count on Obama responding to his failing presidency in such a conventional way. We are about to see on national stage (and off) the essence of who this man is.

  73. Venice, @ 3:48

Agreed, they do reflect him. But, I can’t help but wonder if this idea of Internet thugs, along with other angles of attack, came from his handlers. The handlers that put the whole Obama “package” together for the elite, such as Axelrod, Rahm, Jarrett, etc…Many things have been put into place to insulate him from “the outside world,” if you will. I can just hear them saying to him, “don’t worry, we’ve got that covered. We’ll just….(fill in the blank here). In other words because of his narcissism, he’s bound to be worried about how this or that will make him look. He’s assured by these folks they’ll take care of it. Stroking his ego while at the same time insulating him. They won’t even allow the reporters to ask any hard hitting questions. I hope I’m making sense.

One thing that has stuck in my mind ever since it was said by Michelle (I think), “why do they/people hate us?”

  74. d2i–very interesting…hmmm!

  75. Venice,

Carter had a nervous breakdown in office. I think O isn’t far behind him.

  78. JustMe // January 29, 2010 at 4:09 pm

    Hi JustMe,

An observation here: I think that Barky was interested in the power aspect of POTUS and didn’t quite get the fact that POTUS is an incredibly difficult job with demands that would croak any human being.

He thought it’d be all fun and games (and constant parties) however, when he had to actually *work* that’s when he fell flat. His ‘advisors’ are pathetic and should be systematically purged.

He’s arrogant beyond belief and totally incompetent, other than being a usurper. He may want to consider ‘community organizing’ as a lifelong career path.

I think also that the puppetmasters, seeing how he’s failed, will get rid of him one way or another; he’s just not the one to institute their program of world domination.

Yup, the bloom is off Barky’s rose and those who are thinking that his presidency may be a failure are wrong; this presidency AND the man, are already failures.

    My two cents….

  79. JustMe,

It was Obama who reacted to the 9 year old boy who asked Obama “why do they hate you?”. He apparently (from one of the rag magazines if they are accurate) tore strips off of Whitehouse staff a few days later out and Michelle was in tears.

  80. My memory fails me, JustMe,

Wasn’t Carter’s breakdown towards the end when he failed to negotiate the release of the Iranian Hostages and their captors waited until he was out of office? Either way, I agree with you on ALL counts.

Prez Steve is headed for Meltdown City when reality finally hits him and we’ll ALL suffer for it.

  87. Hi, Sue K

Appreciate the pennies. I completely get what you’re saying. Agreed.

I would just add to it that the elite didn’t want a competent person in that position. He was a perfect candidate in that respect.

I do believe he underestimated the backlash, read blow to his ego, from the difficult task & speed of ushering in the “green” movement complete with its ponzi scheme of taxation, the Wall Street bailout, the escalation of wars and global domination, nationalizing healthcare, banking and other entities, federalizing local law enforcement, etc…which were in the works long before he stepped foot in the Oval Office.

I also think the color of his skin was a significant criteria for him as the choice of the elites for what needed to be done. We all know by now, he isn’t and never will be another Martin Luther King – not by any stretch of the imagination. But we could have had a man that was. Don’t you find it interesting the likes of Jessee Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc have been eerily quiet and missing from the news? That’s no accident. I digress.

I also believe Michelle had her own pie-in-the sky ideas of what she/they could accomplish while residing at Pennsylvania Avenue. The harsh reality has set in for her, as well.

I wasn’t a fan of Bush, but I do remember one thing towards the end that he said in a personal interview that I thought was telling…he said something along the lines of there’s so many people to try to please that you have to give up what you want or hope to accomplish.
