“Mayo Clinic Bridles at Medicare Payments”
“The Mayo Clinic, which has been praised by President Obama as an exemplar for the healthcare industry, will no longer accept new Medicare patients at a primary-care clinic in Glendale, AZ, a Phoenix suburb. While this office serves only a small portion of Mayo’s 526,000 patients in Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida, the organization says that the Glendale clinic is part of a 2-year pilot that will determine whether Mayo continues taking care of Medicare patients at other facilities. Meanwhile, the 3,000 Medicare patients who see family doctors at the Glendale office will have to pay nearly $2,000 a year out of pocket if they want to stay with their physicians.
Mayo is going in this direction because it lost $840 million last year on Medicare. Its Arizona hospital and four primary-care clinics lost $120 million. Nationwide, physicians earn about 20 percent less from Medicare than they do from private payers, but there’s no evidence that most are losing money on Medicare. In a Bloomberg article, Dr. Robert Berenson of the Urban Institute is quoted as saying that some primary-care physicians can afford to do without Medicare “because there is an unlimited demand for their services.” In areas where private health plans pay much more, Medicare looks like a poor payer, he adds.
Nevertheless, the Mayo experiment highlights the grim realities facing Medicare. Even at the current payment rates, the payroll-tax-funded Medicare Trust Fund, which covers inpatient care, is expected to go bankrupt in 2017. General tax revenues and beneficiary premiums guarantee the solvency of Medicare Part B, the outpatient program, but neither higher taxes nor the current rise in premiums is popular. Cutting doctors’ fees is not politically acceptable, either. To keep those fees stable for the next decade, the House recently passed a supplemental spending bill of nearly $200 billion, and the Senate is expected to follow suit, in return for the AMA’s support of its reform bill.”

I am not encouraged by Steele’s comments based on the “Contract with America” from the 104th Congress. Let’s just say it is a starting point. That contract DOES NOT:
1. Require Congress to recognize the Constitutional eligibility of the POTUS based on Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5
2. Require Congress to impeach any member including fellow GOP for fraud and corruption.
3. Require Congress to allow for actionable mechanism for redress of grievances such as Quo Warrento and Citizens Grand Jury.
4. Require Congress to enforce and fund all laws on the books or repeal those they do not intend to.
5. Require Congress to close the borders once and for all.
6. Require Congress to recognize they will profile terrorists for what they are.
7. Require Congress to Repeal the 16th Amendment and pass the Fair Tax.
8. Require Congress to recognize the 10th Amendment and States Sovereignty.
9. Require Congress to pass a sunshine act whereby American Citizens can see a proposed law for up to 72 hours before it is voted on and Congress must read every law before they can vote on it.
10. Require Congress to balance the Budget.

Regarding the link that you posted about Universal Voter Registration. Too me this has actually been the case for over a decade that I am aware of. When you register in Indiana you are automatically on the Federal register as well.
However if this is an attempt to deliniate the States role in the voting processes then I suspect that there will be some real trouble produced by this. It is not likely that state governments will sit still for Federal take over of any state functions. Something like this lead to the Civil War.

In reading a comment posted by someone at another site from linked to CW, I read that there is a fear that NPand HR are going to attempt to rewrite the Constitution. Remember anyone can rewrite anything, but the trick is to get the alleged amendments RATIFIED, by the STATES. It requires at least three quarters of the states to approve befor it can happen. Of course when we take into consideration that the Constitution doesn’t seem to mean anything to the GARBAGE eating leadership in DC. That said it is probable that MMMSSS. INSANE and Dirty Harry are likely to try ANYTHING. If they start trying to play around with the Constitution they are very likely to stir up a confrontation, which hasn’t been seen in the US since 1776. If they are successful in doing it then we have only ourselves to blame.

If they were truly on our side, they would be jumping through hoops over the natural born citizen issue, just like we all have.

Last summer, FOX was getting a lot of heat about the 16th Amendment not being legally ratified, and in usual FOX fashion, Glenn Beck had a lady on the program that swore it was legally ratified, and it was nothing more than a conspiracy theory.
Those of us in the know, know better though. We know that Bill Benson wrote the book ‘The Law That Never Was’ and proved the 16th Amendment was a fraud perpetrated on the citizens.
FOX is there to ‘make people think’ there is someone on their side, but they are actually just another head of the same monster.
Regarding the alleged agreement that Soetoro signed with Ottowa which allegedly allows Canadian troops to enter the US to help quell uprisings, well you need to research Canadian and British Law, because they are under the Crown, and would immediately find themselves in conflict with UK Royalty. Such an agreement cannot be signed unless it is first put before Parliament, and subsequently the Crown. The prime minister would have an active role but it would all be decided by the crown. I don’t know where that story came from but now sounds like the dissemination of misinformation, which is designed to create fear. This is all likely a product of the Soetoro GOON SQUAD. During WW2 there were Canadian elements of the RCAF stationed in the United States. However it was for the reason that there was some fear Japan would mount an attack on the US via the Aleutian Islands, into Alaska and into North America first. These elements were moved to the US for protection, and to afford them operational bases from which to counterattack against the enemy should Canada be overrun. We had a RCAF Bomber, group here in Fort Wayne, during WW2. All of this was by virtue of PRIOR agreement with the Crown. Otherwise it wouldn’t have happened.

Don I hope you saved your paperwork as jbjd suggested. Don’t forget people in other applicable states are doing the same thing. My state of Florida is not an applicable state but I sent copies of jbjd’s information-crediting jbjd to Lt Col Allen West who is running for Congress in my district. I even volunteered to work for him, so he and I (or someone on his staff) can have a one on one, or as Joan Rivers used to say Lt. Col can we talk? He looks so big on his commercials, and I am easily intimidated, but I am armed with jbjd’s facts not easily brushed away. In my mind if we inform as many people as possible someone is bound to get with the program and say where there is a smoking gun maybe there is a fire. My opening with the Lt Col was him quoting the military-we swear to uphold the Constitution ….to me when you give your word, you keep it.
Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid committed a fraud, my best guess is they thought they would not get caught, but caught they are. You do the crime, you do the time.
jbjd has great faith in the system, she has much more experience with it than I do. I am convinced the whole truth of everything will come out, will it be pretty? No. The Founding Fathers put items in our Constitution for a reason, we merely respect their hard work and devotion that they put into to safeguard a brand new nation that they just gave birth to after fighting a terrible war, where they had risked everything. Think about it, if they lost they would have all been hanged as traitors to his Royal Majesty.
I don’t think I’ll be paying attention to any of Beck’s foolishness at this point.

Regarding all of the Glenn Beck issue, I personally disbelieve that Beck’s staff would ever write such a statement, or statements that repel rather than attract viewers. For this reason by itself I would take a much more agressive posture in obtaining this from Beck’s own mouth. I am personally thinking that once again we are reading PROPAGANDA being distributed over the internet in disguise, by our ever so reliable Soetoro GOON SQUAD. It goes without saying that there is little doubt that they have the capability to put a FOX into SHEEP’S clothing. Before I would accept any of this crap at face value I would be , as I stated taking a much more agressive look………before I pass judgement on Glenn. We have to recognise that he is without a doubt under certain constraints. There is a thin line which I believe that he is forbidden to cross over. But that doesn’t seem to restrict him from hitting Sotoro from every other conceiveable angle. Which he has done. He has very successfully drawn the picture regarding what is going on in DC. That by itself will bring a lot of Americans against it all. I think that Rupert Murdoch is heavily involved in this, and cannot afford to lose. If the eligibility issue was discussed openly then FOX Broadcasting would have the liscensure of every radio station that he owns immediately cancelled. He has probably agreed not to cross the line. You only need to take a look at the Chavez dictatorship to realise that he could not have prevailed in Venezuela had he not been able to control ALL broadcasting, both radio, and atmospheric television broadcasting. This I believe is what is being threatened in the US. Perhaps at a little different level, but nonetheless the SAME THING.
