I took my Dad to meet Sarah Palin tonight. He wore his Marine’s hat and his Purple Heart pin. Before we entered the signing place, we were stopped by Sarah’s aunt. She grabbed my dad’s hand and told him thanks for his service to our country. He was so proud. Next, we waited our turn to meet Sarah. She shook my hand and we exchanged greetings. asked where he served, and she told him that her book was in honor of him and his dedication to America . My Dad thanked Sarah for her service and told her how proud he was of her. She then thanked me for bringing my Dad and said God Bless you.
As we were leaving we were stopped by a man who asked to meet my Dad and it turned out to be Sarah’s Dad. He hugged me and thanked me for bringing my Dad & then hugged him and told him it meant so much to him that we took the time to stand in line to meet his daughter. Trying to find his voice, with a face full of falling tears, my Dad said, no… Thank you…thank you for your daughter.
As we left, tears filled Sarah’s father’s eyes and everyone, incuding security and all told him goodbye. As we were leaving, we learned that Sarah stopped by Fort Hood unexpectedly and donated the money from her book signing today to the victim’s families. She is a Great lady!

Obama in a Bind Over Country of Birth

President Obama is in a fix over his country of birth.
The President started to dig the hole as Senate candidate and now he is president, the hole is getting deeper and uglier, mainly because of his evasive actions. Many Democrat supporters are either ignoring the problem or are vehemently attacking “birthers” who question the President’s eligibility.
Republicans are not the only ones concerned about his eligibility. Libertarians, independents, constitutionalists and even democrats are wondering why Obama is fighting so hard to hide his origin.
Unfortunately, Obama dug the hole himself, and like a hole created when a water main leaks and then bursts, the hole is expanding day by day and as it does, the fallout is increasing.
The President and his legal teams have done everything in their power to prevent anyone from accessing his real birth certificate, if he has one, but there are other lines of investigation they cannot block.
During his campaign for the Senate, he and his team touted his Kenyan birth, possibly because it made him more appealing to the voters they needed. Unfortunately, admitting to his birth in Kenya makes him ineligible for the Presidency.
So the question now is, was he really born in Kenya and he told the truth in the Senate campaign, or was he really born in Hawaii, and the Kenya story was a lie, used to deceive Illinois voters.
Obama can’t have it both ways. The answer to this question will be interesting!
Of course, he could say the campaign and the reporters all got it wrong, but it will be interesting to follow the trail on this investigation and discover the sources for the AP story that documents the apparent fact that Obama was Kenyan born.
If it wasn’t the truth back then, why didn’t he stop the campaign using that information and why didn’t he make the AP issue a retraction?
Obama supporters who say it is nobody’s business, need to take a step back, imagine the president is George Bush and ask themselves the same question they should ask now. “Is it OK for the President to hide his origin and what are his motives for doing it?”
I want there to be a simple, truthful answer to these questions, but I have a strange feeling the answer is not what any of his supporters wants to hear.

The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaskapolitics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here’s
the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It’s not about persona, style, rhetoric, it’s about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I’m
about to mention here.
1- Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor’s office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican’s “Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and
wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, “la la la la” (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this
country that has ever done anything similar.
2- Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called “ACES.” Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, “don’t let the door hit you in the stern on your way out.” They stayed, and Alaska
residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3- The other thing she did when she walked into the governor’s office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as “pork.” She went through the list, took
85% of them and placed them in the “when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we’ll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the
money she got from selling the previous governor’s jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by
dismissing the governor’s cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her
State provided security force (never mentioning – I imagine – that she’s packing heat herself). I’m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4- Now, even with her much-ridiculed “gosh and golly” mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a
natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else
could do it although they tried. If that doesn’t impress you, then you’re trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.
5- For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn’t start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started…
This summer, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged
and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.
6- President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewables by 2025. We are already
at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look
cool. But that’s just a cover-up. I’m still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has
done in two and a half years. I won’t be holding my breath.
By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn’t let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear
your face off. Shoulda known better.

Jacqlyn and jbjd; This issue was never foreseen by our founders. The Constitution was written by honorable men for honorable men. In 2010 we need more honorable representatives to be elected so that the impeachment process can gather some steam. But until then we need to keep the heat on by sending any and all information that keep popping up. I am preparing a huge pile of evidence to send to my congressional delegation. Will they even read it? I don’t know. I have emailed my SoS many times, going back to last year. I have contacted my state representatives and even our AG. For the most part I get no responses.

Please find below my suggestion for fixing America ‘s economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the “Patriotic Retirement Plan”:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings – Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered – Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage – Housing Crisis fixed.
It can’t get any easier than that!!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes…
Mr. President, while you’re at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I’ll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!

So far I have read about 50 pages of Going Rogue. It is well written, but a bit “scattered” in nature. I don’t know if this is her deliberate writing style or perhaps she is trying to say too much in too few pages. However I have to give her an A plus for subject matter. Overall so far it has been a quite interesting book, and I am enjoying reading it. Nor do I regret purchasing it. It will find a permanent shelf in my library.
Val-I live in Florida and I have to tell you the so called elderly are sharp as tacks, feisty as all get out, a force to be reckoned with. I love it when they say “Hell you’re just a kid”-anyone from 6 to 96 (just kidding about this last part). For them it is all about love of country, no selfish motivation what so ever and don’t ever insult their intelligence or pander to them (too smart). I loved the man’s suggestions-they are always thinking.

My first gauge of a true patriot is not one who can gush over a well deserved veteran, who I also admire tremendously, but what courage they have uncovering fraud and deceit wherever it is found.
I watched the video of her interview with Shaun Hannity where he tried to get her to agree with him, something to the affect that Obama was a fraud and he couldn’t drag it out of her mouth. She was so careful not to offend. I am sorry, but I want to see someone with courage leading our country.

This is really interesting, because it’s something we would never do to the people we believe in.
Shepard Fairey, the artist who stole an AP image of Dr. Utopia and used it to make the famous (or, infamous, depending on where you sit) “Hope” posters of “The One” staring blankly into the sky, reproduced ad nauseum on every flat surface in 2008, has started spoofing the monster he helped create.
Fairey did the spoof image for a new album out called “The Audacity of Hype”, by Jello Biafra.
So, essentially, Jello’s now making fun of the Kool-Aid gang, which is just twelves shades of ridiculous and yet apt

I have refused to purchase any product that had a phone book of “lawyerese” attached to it. I just ask will the company stand behind the product? If I purchase a good product I’m happy with I tell all my friends, if it isn’t I tell them don’t buy it.

We need someone with the courage of say, Alan Keyes, Commander Patrick Fitzgerald, Rod Class, Carl Swenson, Orly Taitz, Leo Donofrio, Pastor Manning, and I could go on and on. People on the front lines fighting to restore our government through the courts and by speaking the truth no matter who it offends. That is courage!!

The courts are not necessarily the FIRST recourse in these efforts to ‘out’ BO but they will play a pivotal role AFTER the issue has been ‘adjudicated’ in another forum. And then, they will absolutely do the right thing.
For example, let’s say, a state AG announced s/he will investigate/prosecute NP or any other member of the DNC Services Corporation for election fraud. And let’s say, Congress introduces Articles of Impeachment in order to launch hearings into whether BO is Constitutionally qualified for office. BO and his WH Counsel, Bob Bauer, might petition the courts to halt such proceedings on the grounds, this issue was decided by the election.
As for quo warranto, the only change I made in my interpretation of the statute was this. Besides concluding the law was obviously not intended to apply to the POTUS, thus supplanting Impeachment as the ONLY way to oust him; I mistakenly thought the law only allowed people who laid claim to the job, to bring an action in quo warranto to oust the usurper. But an appeals court case, Andrade v. Lauer, seems to say, that not only can that person file quo warranto but also, the person who has a vested property interest in a job, like a civil service appointee, who is fired from that job by a person in a position he claims has no right to that position, also may file quo warranto against this person who fired him.
GG, if you use my materials, I would recommend the strongest ‘evidence’ that the D’s perpetrated fraud are 1) a complaint of election fraud (for any state other than TX); and 2) the latest article on Bob Bauer (3 card monte). I would put in a heading saying something like, ‘Bob Bauer admitted to the federal court in January 2009 he has no credible evidence his client is a NBC; so how did NP ascertain he was a NBC 5 (five) months earlier, when she signed those Certifications of Nomination?

Thousands are waking up to the truth and if some of you would rather stay asleep, good luck to you.
I thought Sarah Palin was a legitimate politician until the eligibility issue came up and I witnessed that she didn’t want to touch it with a 10 ft pole. Some of you think she should care more about her reputation than doing what’s right…exposing corruption and restoring the Constitution….for the sake of freedom and democracy.
Lou Dobbs was threatened and we’ll all see that he won’t have anything more to say on BO’s ineligibilty.

DWilson…..time will tell but IMO you are wrong about Palin…..so far she and a few other politicians are the only ones we can put our hope in if we are going to start changing the government…..she started with the RINO’s in Alaska…..I don’t think she is the type to let power and money go to her head!!! I just found this site and I must say I’m impressed with the discourse and also it’s a no troll zone. I would like to add something about Sarah Palin that from my experience living there for 3 years and several of my siblings have as well. In fact I still have a sister living in Wasilla so I know abit about the area and the people there. The Alaskan residents are a pragmatic lot and that stems from the environment that they live in. The majority of the people are independents but lean right (approximately 70%) and the others are mostly from out of state. But they are very patriotic and love the military and Sarah is typical of the average Alaskan, so in my honest opinion what you see is what you get with Sarah hence the fierceness of the fisherman’s defense of her and he is far from alone in his stance up there. Dont forget also that until she was tapped by McCain she had over an 80% approval rating with her constituents. Show me where another governor…hell any of those lowlifes in power have such a rating. To put it bluntly folks Sarah is the real deal and we would all be wise to support her if she runs if you truly want the cesspool that is D.C. to be drained. Why do you think the elitists in the 2 parties, the media and big oil hate her? Please think on that.
