Odd that you should select such a pragmatic point of view. The ethical matters that this poses are horrendous and yet you focus on being distracted by paperwork?
Doctors are being placed in a position of evaluating the importance of person’s life to society and rationing care accordingly. In relation to that “processing of insurance claims” I doubt comes a close second.
This administration better be ready to completely overhaul medical education and replace it with what might be better called social engineering .
Whoever said doctors will leave in droves are making an understatement.
The implications are enormous and like most people who don’t have an iota of what medicine involves, the changes to be installed are recommended as flippantly as one might change a computer program for their accounting.
Let them try. There really is no negotiating with the sanctity of life.

Two hundred years and four more military-service academies later, the tradition of military service and leadership still thrives.
However, while military service must be complemented by civilian service, we have yet to dedicate an institution to training civilian leaders. And while millions of Americans dedicate hours each year to volunteering and other forms of community activism, fewer and fewer graduates are choosing to pursue careers in public service: fields like education, emergency response, health care and foreign service. These fields are vital to the future of our country, and redefining their place in our communities is both necessary and long overdue. I was thinking of almost the same thing the other day only my concern was when I heard O’JOKER is sending another 60-70,000 troop surge into Afghanistan a BIG SURGE with not Exit Strategy as demnad by Obama and teh Media of Bush but as those troops are sent away and if Revolution breaks out home it may be a problem also teh troops being sent could be troops who lean to be OATH KEEPERS (remember which dealers got closed) leaving the ones more loyal to the USURPER behind.

I rarely get into these speculative arguments, but unfortunately Obama’s massive cover-ups whet the appetite.
It’s possible that Obama was adopted except for the following reasons:
1. He resembles his white mother and IMO has no resemblance to Obama Sr.
2. Why would an 18 yr. old intent on completing her university education agree to such an arrangement? Especially since there is recorded evidence that child care was something she showed little interest in.
3. There are early statements of Obama’s hostility toward his mother and rejection of her and her race. We cannot live with an identity void and will create one by whatever means. This in itself is a form of adoption. Obama chose his Kenyan ties (he even alluded to living there with Michelle in his old age). This would be in keeping with rejection of anything that smacked of America (white or brown men, Christianity, typical white women, etc.) embodied in the fantasies of his black father. He looks exalted standing in a photo next to Obama Sr. at age 10 even though he never really knew him.

In the 1957 movie “A Night To Remember” about the sinking of the Titantic, there is a scene with the Captain and the ship’s builder. They decide that since the first 5 water-tight compartment have been breached, the ship was doomed and we all know what happened. Many years later after the wreck had been found there was much speculation about what could have been done. It was determined nothing could have been done except that they could have slowed down the sinking, thus giving more time for more rescue ships to arrive. This could be done by opening the remainder compartments thereby allowing the ship to sink in a more level and slower way, giving more time to rescue more survivors. I think our Government has decided that our country is like the Titantic and they are going to spend all they before we sink and like “rats on a sinking ship” they will grab all they can for themselves. The phalanx of right-wing radio commentators who call themselves conservatives is attempting
to portray Obama as an ultraliberal, “the most liberal senator in the Democratic Party,” according to
a study produced by National Journal. This is a very weak, tired, unconvincing way to deal with
Obama, and it is ultimately a loser. This is not very scary, and to do justice to the horrifying reality
of the Obama threat, it ought to be very scary indeed. To say that Obama is a liberal, as Rush
Limbaugh incessantly does, is to say that he is just more of the same, from the same tired old
playbook of Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis. If Obama is just the latest liberal and there is
nothing new under the sun, then ho-hum. This approach fatally underestimates how radically
different and how extremely dangerous Obama really is. Sean Hannity does a little better with his
mantra of “Stop the radical.” But it soon turns out that this means radical liberal, which is also not
going to launch a thousand ships against Obama.”

I have a question re: Health Care (Obama Plan)
The citizens are also the taxpayers who pay for all the people’s health care who are employed in various capacities by the government. How can they legislate a different plan for the citizens (taxpayers) than they themselves have? Is there a remedy in law?, could this be the largest civil rights case ever? Isn’t Federal Law that you cannot descriminate? In other words the Federal Government is discriminating against all other people not employed by the Federal Government, actually we are employees we pay the taxes.
