Senior citizens who went to a meeting sponsored by AARP were left to themselves after the AARP hostess walked out. The seniors were trying to get answers concerning ObamaCare and why AARP would support a government controlled health system that many believe would lead to euthanasia and rationing of health care.
Why would AARP, the nation’s largest seniors group, supposedly working for the elderly, support an ObamaCare bill? Here is what Dick Morris, former advisor to President Clinton, said: “The interest groups that usually speak up for the elderly, particularly AARP, are in Obama’s pocket, hoping to profit from his program by becoming one of its vendors. Just as they backed Bush’s prescription drug plan because they anticipated profiting from it, so they are now helping Obama gut the medical care of their constituents.”
Like the National Education Association, AARP has been taken over by liberals. With millions of members, AARP is using its clout to push ObamaCare on the elderly, even if it includes euthanasia. AARP supported homosexual marriage by opposing Prop 8 in California.

• Send your e-mail to AARP. If you are a member, do what the lady in Dallas did — cancel your membership. AARP is going to use membership dues to help push ObamaCare.

AARP is another group of radicals that have ALWAYS preyed on senior citizens, so their actions of late should be of no surprise. Normal use and abuse practices that they have always pushed.

I’ve been receiving solicitations to join AARP for several years now, and I never did. Thank God for that. These guys are scumbags. All decent Americans who are members of AARP, cancel your memberships now and demand refunds!

AARP is also anti-Second Amendment. They don’t think older people have the RIGHT to defend themselves. That should fit right in with Obama’s genocidal healthcare program.

When I first read your message I went to Lame Cherry with no problem – also using FireFox – but did not post as others were on top of it and telling you they were having no trouble.
I just tried to go there again as a Lame Cherry cite came up at the top of a google generated search list, clicked on it and received the same message you are getting.
Then I typed the Lame Cherry URL in a new window and got there again with no problem.

Yes, Law of Nations is capitalized, meaning our framers were citing a proper name. There was only one Law of Nations in 1787 officially declared. And yes, Congress has the power to create and enforce ANY LAW mentioned in the Law of Nations written by Emmerich de Vattel! It was sitting right under our noses the entire time.
Now I can’t get to Mario’s or LC’s sites using any browser, but I can access their sites via links from articles on other websites. I can also access other pages on their sites. I’m no tech wizard, but wouldn’t that indicate that Google is manipulating access to the site rather than shutting it down?

Want to know what this is really all about?
My wife just asked me a very obvious question: why would people who work for AARP and who would be jeopardized by this support it?
The answer is simple: the people who WORK for AARP will be protected; you don’t think that THEY’RE going to accept that health care package, do you?
It’s the same thing as the democrats who refuse to be on the same health care plan as we, the people….they get the nice, cushy plan, as do their families.
So, my original point, then: want to know what this is REALLY all about? This is 1960’s college activism in the white house….the elitist baby-boomers, who always re-wrote social rules to favor themselves, see that there are fewer days ahead than there are behind, and they want the best health care. You don’t think they’re going to accept being corralled into nursing homes with the rest of the ‘mundane’ sort from their generation, do you? Do you really think Billy Ayers and his broomstick bride are going to be held to this health care policy?
Obviously, there’s more at work here than merely the elitist radicals. Eliminating the elderly is just the beginning. Once the Messiah determines the ‘line’ that defines ‘elderly’ (just as he defines the ‘line’ that defines ‘wealthy’), then it will be the handicapped (physical and then mental), children born with handicaps, those who are badly injured in some type of accident, and then those who are considered ‘inferior’. All of that is some ways off, but its only a matter of time. It’s the natural progresson.
If ‘liberals’ ever truly understood what they’re supporting, they’d kill themselves. Now that I think about it, they’d be doing EVERYBODY a favor if they did.

Kittycat, ixquick is a search engine. At least I think that’s what you call it…I’m not much of a computer person. I just know you can search for things there. It isn’t the biggest array of findings but it’s safe and private! You’re searches are not recorded or tracked! The spy chip lady(she’s an advocate AGAINST spy chips and is very active in privacy matters)advertises it…so it must be what it claims to be.

What if you are not born in this country, but are adopted by US Citizens as an infant? What do people believe about the issue of adoption? I believe Obama is not an NBC, but I’m just wondering about adopted kids? Can they be POTUS?
Justina, “adoption” is not “an issue”. The Constitution is very plain. It says “NO”. What part of “NO” don’t you understand?
JeffM is wrong when he asserts that the Constitution must be specifically referring to Vattel’s treatise, when it capitalizes the term “Law of Nations,” which he says means the framers were clearly using a proper name. One could logically make such an inference from modern English capitalization rules, but the framers were notorious for their random usage of capitalization, in places, such as the two excerpts quoted by JeffM below, capitalizing every single noun.
In the same Article 1, Section 8, Congress is given the power to “make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water.” Was there some book in existence at the time, entitled “Captures on Land and Water” that the framers wanted Congress to use as a reference? By JeffM’s logic, there must be, or they would not have capitalized the phrase. No, just skim through the document, and anyone will realize that any noun is more likely to be capitalized than not. If this is the clincher in JeffM’s legal argument “the main item in the Constitution that ties both together,” he has an extremely weak legal case. I would suggest looking for something a little more definitive, rather than basing a legal brief on a misinterpretation of the loose capitalization practices followed by the framers.

I was sort of on the fence about AARP. Something kind of bothered me about AARP like something stuck in the back of my head. This gets me off the fence. No AARP for me. They’ve been spamming my mailbox for a year now.
Let us all agree, those who do not oppose this death care are promised something in return for their vote and goes in their pocket. We now have a total dictatorship with crooks as czars and not one person in congress has even opposed this. What does that tell us, the American people.

Why did Barack Obama attack pharmaceutical companies before and now he has teamed up with them to promote his health care plan? Why are all the tort lawyers big democratic supporters and multi-millionaires? Obama’s true intentions are so obvious that even the left is starting to express concerns. For example, on August 10, CBS Evening News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson filed a report stating that “the White House agreed not to seek price controls on drugs for seniors on Medicare and would not support importing cheaper drugs from Canada.” According to Attkisson, “The pharmaceutical industry is now so firmly in the President’s camp it’s developing plans to spend up to $150 billion promoting it with TV ads.”
According to the acting president of Public Citizen and founder and director of Public Citizen’s Health Research Group, Dr. Sidney Wolfe, “An all sort of off the record deal was reached that is very bad for the American public.” Other experts say that for their cooperation, Obama is allowing pharmaceutical companies to charge $50 for a $2 pill and is assuring them that there will be no changes to the laws that make it near impossible for less expensive generic drugs to reach the American market.
Unless tort lawyers, the pharmaceutical lobby and other special interest groups like the AMA, ADA and the AARP are dealt with to preserves the Constitution and the free market system, while also protecting the medical provider and consumer, no healthcare plan can work.
