“Former Blago chief of staff postpones guilty plea”
“CHICAGO – An attorney accused of scheming with former Gov. Rod Blagojevich to use the governor’s office as a vehicle for making money postponed Monday his plan to plead guilty to federal corruption charges.
Alonzo Monk, 50, Blagojevich’s law school roommate and first chief of staff in the governor’s office, is now set to plead guilty at an Aug. 11 hearing.
Monk attorney Michael J. Shepard of San Francisco declined to comment on the reason for the delay. Other attorneys in the case said there was no reason to suspect the snag was anything that couldn’t be ironed out.
The one-time chief of staff has been cooperating with federal prosecutors in hopes of getting a lighter sentence. Plea negotiations can be complicated and delays are common.”
“The indictment also says Monk schemed with Blagojevich, convicted influence peddler Tony Rezko and others to use the governor’s office to squeeze individuals wanting to do business with the state for payoffs.”

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does.
You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red ..
If the Army &Marines are in IRAQ , it’s because they want them in IRAQ
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.

2) Attend and be members of local gun clubs and NRA meetings.
3) At these recruit publically and without any secrecy other members to restart State Militia.
4) Point out that State Militia’s are constitutional, but until the Govenor and Legislature think they will work, they will not reinstitute them in law.
5) Thus private individuals need to show the Governor and state officials that State Militias will work and are useful.
6) This will be the goal of this restarted State Militia, which though it will not be official, will be the incipient corp of the state militia when formed.
7) Recruit ex-military, local police, firemen, etc.
8) Have regular training sessions led by former military personell, and do it professionally on private property in remote areas, for safety sake.
9) Help one another get jobs and recruit unemployed men, with the promise of training and job help.
10) Offer services to mayors and govenor in times of need; be open, polite, respectful, patriotic, helpful, maintain list of volunteers in your unit who are avaialbe 24/7.
11) Have an emergency response officer who will keep in contact with local officials so that on a moments notice he can offer men from your unit to volunteer for disaster response or security needs.
12) Participate in local patriotic parades
13) Do other volunteer public service as a unit
14) Have you own uniform and colors
15) Don’t be secretive, be patriotic
16) Have a security officer, require back ground checks on all applicants; exclude convicted felons, gang members, and muslims (since they want Shaira laws imposed on the world, and are thus openly anti-Constitutionalists)
When times of need come and you show yourselves to be worthy of the name of a State Militia, the legistlature and Govenor will see your good example and legiitimize you. And the public will support you.

This should alert Dobbs as to what we are up against here….he is not a stupid man…..now they are treating him like Sarah Palin…..let’s hope he continues to notice that something here is drastically wrong when even his own colleagues are turning on him!!!
I just sent my e-mail to Dobbs requesting he have Mr. Apuzzo and Mr. Kerchner on his show!!!

RE-do—-I don’t watch them either…..once in a while I flip through…..I watched Dobbs lately because I hear he is trying to get to the truth…he is opposite Shep Smith and I can’t stand Shep!! I will keep you posted though if I hear anything!!!

It absolutely blows my mind, people think Obama/Soetoro is a natural born citizen. blows my mind even further people think that is a valid birth certificate. my take on this so-called global warming… God is reminding people they will burn in hell.
JS: you know, the very few times I’ve done the ‘remote-flip-channel-surf’ thing…
(yeh, guys do that, I know…don’t wanna miss that other thing, whatever it is…hehe…)
…and have happened onto a Keith O or Rachel M…they’re either seething through their words…or their commentary is snide and full of snickering contempt…such seemingly unprofessional, even ‘childish’ attitude…which I just don’t see from too many others; even ones I disagree with…at least some of them can speak in a civil tone; these other ones appear to be in such a dither that they’ve lost their self-control.
Either I just happened to find them on a ‘bad day’…and I could grant them that much…we all have ’em from time-to-time; and they don’t normally behave like that. Or, am I the only one who thinks that, and that is how they are all the time? It makes me wonder “what sponsors are willing to pay for and support that?” or, “how can segments like theirs be sustained?” Maybe it’s just me; I can’t imagine who else finds that appealing….I don’t get it;
