“Opponents of Barack Obama’s presidency claim small court victory”
“Supporters of a case that disputes the legitimacy of Barack Obama’s presidency claimed a small victory today when U.S. District Judge David O. Carter told them to fix their paperwork and that he would listen to “the merits” of their case. But others present for the hearing Monday at the federal courthouse in Santa Ana stressed that the case remains a long way from ever getting a full airing in court and may never get to that point.
The case, Alan Keyes, et al. v Barack H. Obama, et al. was filed on Inauguration Day and is one of a raft of suits alleging Obama is ineligible to be president because he is not a “natural born citizen.” Such claims have fared badly in court to date. In December, for example, the Supreme Court dismissed without comment a case challenging Obama’s right to take the oath of office.
Perhaps because of that history, Orly Taitz, the lawyer who filed the current suit, was greatly cheered by Monday’s hearing. “He’s very determined to hear the case on the merits,” Taitz said, referring to the judge. “He stated, the country needs to know if Mr. Obama is legitimate, if he can legitimately stay in the White House.””

cw, thank you so much for posting the link to the actual documents in this case. Turns out, I must correct a statement I made last night about this case. As I wrote, based on Orly’s intention to file a case against BO based on a GWB EO (which I had not read), I advised her to file this case with a court outside of D.C. (courts there closed for holiday and inauguration) and get it served before he was sworn in. I wrote, she did this. However, now seeing the documents, I realize, she only filed the case before he was sworn in; but she did not attempt service until February. By that time, of course, BO was POTUS; and service under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (“FRCP”) are different from service to individuals. The government successfully argued yesterday, either way, service was not made in accordance with the FRCP. The judge agreed; and now, since BO is POTUS, instructed her to re-serve, according to the FRCP for government officials.
Obama played games with the service: that is obvious. By refusing to accept it at the white house, for him in person, and refusing to allow anyone over at the DOJ to accept it who was lawfully empowered to do so, the servicing was obstructed…No need to fault Orly for that, they could have done that to the best of process servers…its call the run-a-round…
If the judge ordered acceptance of service yesterday is it then considered now to have been served and they are all given 60 days to submit their reply? Then at that time, having the procedural portions taken care of, a decision on whether to continue the case to hearing will be made – no?
But hope does rise due to the reported statements made by the judge – that eligibility should be determined for a president.
He should see that all of these cases brought by various plaintiffs will only continue and there needs to be something settled. Hopefully.

It seems to me that Orly is behind Mario Apuzzo, as far as procedural timelines go. In Mario’s case, the 60 days (plus extensions) have passed, and now he’s attempting to answer a motion to dismiss from the Department of Justice.
SueK, distinction without a difference, in this case. The “Answer” to this service will be in the form of a Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Claim. That is, Orly is basing her action on an EO that expressly 1) does not apply to BO; and 2) expressly is not enforceable in a court of law. Rather, this EO dealt with federal personnel management. (I have been saying this for months; it’s on my blog.)

I’m grateful that Orly, Appuzo, Pidgeon, and all others are trying to fight the fight through the court system;but i’m really starting to believe the one that’s actually going to bring “O” down, is the Citizens Grand Juries.

I could be mistaken about this, but it is my understanding (from others who have told this to me) that Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and other Fox News ANALYSIS pundits are prohibited from mentioning the Obama ineligibility issue. Why? Because of that Saudi billionaire that owns 7% (?) of the Fox News Channel stock.
If you notice, Glenn often does not blame Obama (directly, or only) for the mess we are in today. Glenn “spreads the blame around” and even encouraged protesters at the TEA Parties on April 15th not to “make it about Obama” or only blame Democrats.
One day during his radio show, I heard Beck claim that when he is able to, he will share more than he can share right now about what is really happening in America. I think this has to do with him keeping his job at Fox. If he was fired, then we wouldn’t be able to get the important information that he is sharing every day about our out-of-control government. The investigations that he does about it are very educational – and what I heard on the radio show today was quite astounding.
Remember how MSNBC mocked the “birthers” on several of their leftie pundit shows? They are trying to make the issue sound like a ridiculous conspiracy theory that is just a “rumor” going around the Internet via “right-wing nuts.”
Also, notice that Savage and Limbaugh have spoken about the COLB issue. They don’t have T.V. shows and so are more free to do that. I think I recall Mark Levin speaking about Obama’s BC on his radio show too.
Today, I did a search to see if Jon Voight has a blog. Couldn’t find one. I’m sure that he is aware of the ineligibility issue, but when he is interviewed on Fox he is (probably) forewarned not to discuss that. Does anyone know more about Voight’s stance on the issue?
Many pundits who agree with us may not think that anything can (or will) be done about this. I hope and pray that they are wrong!
I went on a couple other blogs today to read comments. Some are very suspicious that Orly got her hearing. They think that the Obots are about to present a forged COLB that will look so real that it will shut everyone up about the issue.
People are nervous about this issue and we all hope to God that ObamaFRAUD ultimately gets exposed and this usurper doesn’t get away with his flagrant treasonous actions against our country!
Also – notice that Brett Baier only reports the “straight news.” He doesn’t do any commentary about it. Did he bring it up with the panel of “all-stars” (as they call it) at the end of the show?

A neighbor of mine (Christian) once told me that there appears to be a huge demonic spirit hanging over Washington D.C. As I thought about that comment, it seemed to me that the deception is so real upon those who would hold to Obama’s agenda. It is only those who “have eyes to see and ears to hear” what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches (meaning all believers in Christ) who were NEVER deceived about this issue in the first place. Sharing this information with all people (no matter what religion/faith etc.) is the duty of Christians everywhere. People are waking up to the TRUTH each and every day. The “scales are falling from their eyes” and they are realizing that we need to DO SOMETHING or we will lose our freedoms and Constitutional Republic.
I thank God for all the people (like Citizen Wells) who have been up close and in the center of this issue from the start. I’m certain that each and every patriot is being ridiculed and disparaged for their beliefs and work to expose Obama’s deception and lies. But we all need to consider it good works to help save this Republic.

Keep Hoping—Sooner or Later Obama Will Have To Be Accountable
The office of President of the United States is the highest position in America and used to be the world. The man applying for that job had to be the finest within humanity possessing good character, superior background, proven track record, and extraordinary experience in government and leadership. To be President meant to have the highest integrity, ethics and moral values in America. Most of all his credentials had to be open and impeccable. First and foremost the President should be above all suspicion in anything in his past and present career. This was necessary because of the overwhelming position of trust he holds with the American people and the world.
The last thing any American—Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Peace & Freedom or any one—would have ever imagined is a President so deceptive and secretive about who he is and where he came from that millions of people are begging the president to produce his documents to prove he is really who he says he is. Obama’s silence and refusal to disclose his documents in spite of the efforts of many, many law suits, posted bill boards, ads in news papers, millions of letters to Congress and Senate, rallies, criminal indictments, runaway grand juries, and millions of blogs is costing America millions and millions in legal fees, a breach of trust in the American government, a national security crisis in America and weakening of America in the eyes of the rest of the world. America can no longer afford the luxury of a President who has failed to prove his authority to be President.
No matter how long Obama dynasty remains stubbornly silent and refuses to produce the documents, no matter how much MSM attempts to demean and belittle America for challenging O’s citizenship, this vital issue will not go away until Obama has stands up or steps down. Each day that passes brings us an inch closer to forcing the issue as attorneys, retired and active service men, and many others attempt the different ways to force the truth from Obama.
The real issue is Obama and thugs action. It takes a truly self centered power lusting group of people to persist in hiding vital documents. It appears O and thugs are so callous and ruthless, they simply don’t care how much wasting of millions of dollars in legal fees by plaintiff and defendants, how many millions of Americans suffer with just concerns, or whether or not they make the innocent look guilty. They seem to be quite comfortable having to live lies every day pretending, covering, and denying Obama’s illegality as president. The fact that Obama’s gang knowingly supports a man who may very well be a usurper and a traitor rather than producing the requested documents is a giant red flag as to the true character of Obama and those who surround him. Wouldn’t the right and decent act by the President with a strong moral character be stand up and put the doubts and fears of his citizens to rest. The fact Obama permitted this issue to go this far should be sufficient reason to prove he does not have the highest and best interest of America–let alone the ability to prove him self eligible. O’s only interest is pure power and looting of America. This in itself should be strong enough motivation for any judges with integrity left. There is nothing in Obama’s character or background that qualifies him to be President of the United States. There is every thing that demands he be deported.
There are a few efforts that give us hope—The Kerchner case, Orly’s effort for All Keyes and Cook, WND’s bill boards and persistent articles, Walter Francis Kirkpatrick (one pissed off sailor), and we who have been diligent prior to the elections. Sooner or later and one way or another, Obama will have to be accountable. We hope sooner!

Hypothetical question, two actually. 1) If my representatives do not have time to read a 1000 pages document, and in fact actually admits voting for it without reading it, is this not taxation without representation? 2) Would not a person not yet of voting age have the same grievance by these same representatives voting to saddle that person who has not yet had opportunity to vote for a representative who in turns votes to tax that person?
I’m sorry, but I think we’re only getting our hopes up once again. Did anyone ever consider, even for a moment, that the White House is allowing this to get some traction, so as to divert our attention from something else that’s taking place? At least consider it – bot the Sotomayor hearings and chatter about the birth certificate (it was even reported by Brett Baier on Fox tonight) – there’s something else going on behind the scenes. I’m sure of it.
If you watched Glenn Beck this afternoon, if you’re like me, you wouldn’t have been able to see straight. I had to write about it on my blog; I’d love any comments that you might have.
I assume that some, if not most of you have children; I have a son. There’s no way I’m going to allow him watch the life that we all share in this country be forcibly taken from us. No f***ing way. The time is drawing very near at hand, people.

I didn’t even need to fight, the administration blinked and showed it’s cards, actually they showed that they have no cards to play, as they immediately revoked the order for major Cook. You can see below, the revocation is below, saying he doesn’t need to go.
What does it mean? It’s proof that we have a totally illegitimate commander in chief and they will cave in each and every situation. It means that from now on any member of the military, who doesn’t like any order , needs to call Dr. Taitz, ESQ and state that he doesn’t want to follow the order, a legal action will be initiated based on Obama’s illegitimacy in office and the military will cave in. I’ve heard some use the analogy of the conversion of Saul…that BHO et al might have ‘a Damascus road’ experience. Others have suggested an analogy more in line with the story of Haman…(like Psalm 9:16)…and how ones who lay traps for others are themselves ensnared. I think it’s important to point out the differences in those analogies: Saul was a devout man; everything he did was out of zeal to please the One in whom he believed…such as it was prior to his “seeing the Light”. Haman, on the other hand, had no such ambition…ever…his sole aim was to elevate himself as high as possible…a true narcissist through and through; willing to condemn an entire nation of people to death along the way. I’m not sure how to take this revocation of Cook’s orders but I’m thinking it’s bad news because the proof won’t come out in court.
They ducked and ran because they don’t want the publicity of a trial, even though this story is getting press, including Drudge. It’s out there, along with the reasons for the suit, whether or not they like it.
It does, however, show the spineless nature of this administration-no fight. Just go away. We take it all back.

Zach, I believe Major Cook is in the Army’s IRR (Individual Ready Reserve). His orders were to bring him onto active duty and then to deploy him to Afganistan (probably after a train-up period). Did the Army revoke his orders because they didn’t want to deal with the PR ramifications of it? Or was there another reason (orders from much higher up in the “food chain”)? We may never know.

Actually on second thought, I think the Military Brass have just made their move to unseat the usurper (if this order of revocation did not come from the WH).
By revoking Cook’s orders they open the way for all enlisted personel to seek this same legal recourse and get their orders revoked.

Human Resources Command (HRC) for the Army Reserve is currently located in Saint Louis, Missouri. That revocation order looks real to me.
My son has orders for Afghanistan so I can’t help but to get my hopes up, this may well be the first domino to fall…….
If all of the results are true, and Cook’s orders were actually rescinded then it clearly is a crack in the damn that needs to have a million sledge hammers used on it. We have found out that it can’t stand the strain. Now we need to encourage our military people to standup and question the authority of their alleged CINC to send them ANYWHERE. Publicity, publicity, publicity. This will help big time. In addition we need to keep the Sinclair book in his face as well. Keep as much pressure on him as possible 24 hrs a day. If necessary improvise!

I am a vet of two of our military services. And still at 77 years of age stand firm with the same level of committment today as I held in 1949 when I first began my military involvement. In addition I still believe in the Constitution. It has served us well for over 200 years, and there is NO reason why it should now be modified, or discarded. U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, the reserve soldier who says he shouldn’t have to go to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama was never eligible to be president, has had his deployment orders revoked, Army officials said.
Lt. Col. Maria Quon, U.S. Army Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Army Human Resources Command-St. Louis, said Tuesday evening, Cook was no longer expected to report Wednesday to MacDill Air Force Base in Florida for mobilization to active duty.
Cook is an Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA), meaning he is a reserve soldier assigned to an active component unit for duty. He is assigned to the U.S. Army Element of U.S. Southern Command. Last week he filed a request in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector through his California-based attorney, Orly Taitz.

Taitz, who has also challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, filed the 20-page document on July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. In it Taitz asks the court to consider granting her client’s request based upon Cook’s belief that Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Cook further states he “would be acting in violation of international law by engaging in military actions outside the United States under this President’s command. … simultaneously subjecting himself to possible prosecution as a war criminal by the faithful execution of these duties.”
Documents show Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, two years after it became a state.
Earlier today, Quon said Cook submitted a formal written request to Human Resources Command-St. Louis on May 8, 2009 volunteering to serve one year in Afghanistan with Special Operations Command, U.S. Army Central Command, beginning July 15, 2009. The soldier’s orders were issued on June 9, Quon said.
“A reserve soldier who volunteers for an active duty tour may ask for a revocation of orders up until the day he is scheduled to report for active duty,” Quon said.
She added that there is an administrative process to request revocation of orders. As of this afternoon, Cook had not asked for his orders to be revoked, Quon said. She could not say why the soldier’s orders were pulled today by 3 p.m. CDT.
“Because of the Privacy Act I couldn’t go into it,” Quon said.
A call to Cook’s attorney this evening was not immediately returned.
There are approximately 3,800 Individual Mobilization Augmentees in the U.S. Army Reserves. In addition to IMAs, the U.S. Army Reserves has three additional reserve levels, Quon said.
Approximately 63,000 soldiers serve with the Individual Ready Reserves, meaning they have no routine training or attendance requirements and no pay; 188,000 serve as reservists, attached to reserve units; and about 16,000 soldiers serve with the Active Guard Reserve, Quon said. The latter group consists of soldiers who have volunteered to be on full-time active duty, she continued.
A hearing to discuss Cook’s requests is scheduled to take place in federal court here Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

My 17-year-old son, on learning that 1) as a member of the army reserve, Cook had requested call-up to active duty; 2) army reserve who request call-up can revoke that request up to the day of call-up; 3) Cook admitted in court pleadings he would not make a good soldier inasmuch as he doubted BO’s eligibility as CIC; and 4) the army revoked Cook’s call-up to active duty before he withdrew his request, chuckled, ‘Oh, so he was playing Chicken…’

Director of Communications Janice Okubo (pictured here) of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health, confirms that the image published and circulated by the Obama campaign as his “birth certificate” lacks the necessary embossed seal and signature. Backing away from a quote attributed to her that the image on the Obama campaign site was “valid,” she told the St. Petersburg (Florida) Times: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”
Speaking to National Review Online,Okubo admitted that the Obama image lacked those required features. Further, Okubo admitted that “Electronic images are NEVER released,” but, rather, the State of Hawaii requires printing and mailing, yet, with the Obama “Certification of Live Birth,” there’s no crease from being folded and mailed.

SueK, this case is moot insofar as Cook is not required to serve, being active reserve, and can revoke his request to serve up to the date of service. He could object to a motion to dismiss on account of mootness by arguing that, if war is declared, he can be called up against his will and so, this question as to whether he can be classified as a conscientious objector based on doubts about this CIC is still ripe.

A poster over at World Net Daily found Hawaii government information from way back in 1961 in which Hawaii explained how it classified race and ethnic groups.
Below is an excerpt from that Hawaii government information.
I’m not sure what it means, but the classification of “African” as is found on the Obama Hawaii birth certificate that we see on the internet is NOT found in the Hawaii government classification.

Army DAV, these are lies. You now know that as active reserve, Cook requested call-up; and he has the right to withdraw that request up to the day of call-up to active duty. And you know he said in his pleadings to the court, he would not be a good soldier, constructively announcing he intended not to obey command. No one in the military has even hinted BO is not the CIC; and any other military who are ignorant of the rules that apply to active reserve might be caught in a trap, if they decide to pursue Mr. Cook’s tack.

This is so unnecessary; the same benefits could have been achieved without any of these risks, if Orly had used a National Guard Plaintiff and, had only argued, she wanted a Declaratory Judgment as to whether BO is a NBC, and not gotten so complicated. (I want to know whether doubting the CIC is legitimate is a recognizable category for Conscientious Objector status because I could be a slave otherwise or accused of war crimes and I wouldn’t be a good solider, anyway…’)

Oh, and by the way, given Orly’s pleading, each Plaintiff will have to assert, he is a conscientious objector, in each case, and his belief in the pleading must be proven. A Plaintiff in a case for Declaratory Judgment as to whether BO is a NBC acts as sort of a representative of a class, without having to certify the members of that class! That is one of the beauties of the Federal Declaratory Judgment Act! In other words, one Plaintiff acts the Court to Declare whether BO is a NBC. And the results apply to all similarly situated Plaintiffs, that is, all members of the military subject to his orders. (I explained all of this to Orly, ad nauseum, last December.)

Several times previously, I have cited to the UCMJ. Refusing to obey a direct order is only one infraction of the rules. Questioning the authority of the ‘orderer’ is a separate violation.

To question the authority of a commanding officer, is something like, “I am not going to obey, because you are not the CO of this unit but of another!” There is a tacit implication that the officer is an officer and that he has authority, but not over this objectioning soldier.
That is not what Cook did.

It’s been a long time but I think all military officers are on active reserve until they are retired, unlike enlisted military, I stand to be corrected.

Both of them also served in our military forces, and both earned honorable discharges. They were not C-H-I -C – K – E – N – S. I don’t think there is precedent for this case. His conscientious objector status depends upon the discovery of legitimacy or not of CIC. There can be shown, by the very fact that now the questions raised have come to wider public inquiry, that there is true concern and reason for concern re: unknown facts about background of POTUS. It’s rather a case of an officer in Limbo. His fear is that of being later discovered in some kind of unofficial war time status IF while in harm’s way it comes to pass that his country has no legitimate leader. This unanswered question leaves all armed forces without recourse while fighting.
This isn’t a regular kind of conscientious objector question because it depends upon what is discovered. This ought to give him standing for the sake of his material life, as property, being in real jeopardy. And it’s an armed forces morale problem as well.

jbjd—-From what I read…..his commanding officer said she didn’t know why his orders were revoked either and that there is usually a due process before orders are revoked…..that tells me that this was also a big surprise to his commanding officer as well!!!
The only official cited in the news copied above is a public affairs officer out of the army’s human resources division.
Further, when asked for clarification, Ms. Quon explained, “Because of the Privacy Act I couldn’t go into it.”

That why the whole issue of needing to be sure that the CiC is Eligibel So he knows his order are legit and he can be a good soldier…otherwise with that on his conscience he would not be a good soldier.
It would as if went to work knowing your bosso was not going to pay you or was a drunk or a criminal, you would not be a good worker with that in your mind all the time. It would be hard to commit to the job.

Parade’s writer went on to say “so-called grassroots campaigns are often effective because they’re thought to represent the will of the people. But what politicians — and many ordinary Americans — may not know is that some ‘grassroots movements’ are actually sophisticated marketing campaigns financed by business and special interest groups.”

Yet, in the end, anyone would have to admit that if this judge had acted as judges in most all previous cases, he would simply have dismissed the case due to improper service – or delayed it…again. But he marched it through in order to get on with it and get some answers – and ordered service there and then. It would appear that he did show patience even though he had to correct Orly’s “enthusiasm” – giving her a chance.

I know I will be verbally attacked for making this comment (so bring it on Jacqlyn). I worked for many, many years as a public servant–I won’t divulge which branch of goverment and/or title. Let’s just say I was very high on the rung. Before my last year of high school, I knew I wanted to serve my country in some capacity. At that time, it was expected that women should learn to type so they could work in an office. I chose college instead and never regretted it.
As a public servant for those many years (30+), I worked hard to show my love for this country. I know that’s one of the reasons the men and women of the military serve their country. I, personally think, it is so unfair to ask them to risk their life and then turn around and ask them to risk their career in the military. These are courageous men and women and they have enough to worry about each day–their family back home and staying alive are just two of the many things.
Is this cause so important that most of you would ask them to risk more. Is there not another way you can achieve the same result without asking our military to give more of their blood, sweat and tears. They have stood up, now it’s time for you all to stand down and find another way.
Oh, I lurk on quite a few blogs (anti and pro). I like to evaluate all sides of the issue because my philosophy is no one is ever all wrong and no one is ever all right.
I’ve had my say, so now you all can start barking at me.

“Can you hear me now??” .. It’s what millions of “birthers” have been saying for months, and for some, over a year now. I guess the voice of the Constitution just got a little louder, but still can’t quite be heard, yet.
The “hijacking” of the US Government has been long since planned by Marxists like George Soros, and Zbigniew Brzezinski. The fact of the this very serious matter is, Obama knows more about the old Russian Constitution then he does the US Constitution. Let me explain.
Obama is recruited at Columbia University by Marxist CIA Officer and Professor
When attending Columbia University as an Indonesian foreign student, Obama was one of eight students recruited by Brzezinski to study “Sovietology”. By this time, Brzezinski had worked his way up the ladder in the CIA to become one of its’ top officers.
“Brzezinski, a CIA expert on the Soviet Union, teaches international relations and is the head of the Institute for Communist Affairs at Columbia.”
Brzezinski wrote a book called “The Grand Chess Board”, which is a blueprint for world domination by a one world government, led by he and his Marxist cronies, of course. Using the USA’s innovation and wealth, Brzezinski talks about taking over Eurasia and more. Here are some quotes from The Grand Chess Board:

As you can see, Brzezinski is obsessed with getting control of the Middle East (Eurasia) because of all its’ resources.
Why Obama was the near perfect choice to implement the final phase of the world agenda
Like Obama said “I am going to change the world” at several speeches during the campaign. He said this because he has been trained to subdue the US by handing her over to the UN, slowly but surely. Everything he does, he has been prepared for in advance by his “handlers”, namely, the CIA faction that is partnered with the Tri-lateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations. Each group are partnered towards a common agenda .. a one world order under their management.
Obama was an obvious choice because of a few things and here they are:
Obama’s Grandparents and Mother were already recruited by this CIA faction since Obama’s Grandpa worked for David Rockefeller and his “Standard Oil Company” that helped power German Submarines (David was the old guy in the Wheel Chair that appeared in front of Obama on national television recently over Memorial Day.).
Lolo Soetoro, Obama’s stepfather, was a Rockefeller henchman set up in Indonesia under Rocekfeller’s Oil front called “Mobil Oil”. Obama was purposely schooled in Islam to understand their culture. Nearly Obama’s whole life has been “scripted” by his families CIA connections and recruiters. From the movie Total Recall – “Your whole life is just a dream Quade”.
Obama was Black (he has Arab ancestory too, but looks Black) and had a Muslim name – which his “handlers” had him change to for engaging the Muslim Community. He originally went by “Barry Soetoro” for years, and then changed the name early on when running for political offices. A strategy to lure Muslim countries into the Western World Order paradigm led by these factions/partnerships for a one world order.
Why the records are sealed
Do you now see why Obama has his records sealed and many do not dare confront him on these sensitive issues? The truth is, Obama doesn’t even have a lot of the records Americans are requesting. Obama did not teach “Constutional Law” as a Professor at Chicago University. A blatent lie sold to the impressionable. There are no records of him teaching at Chicago as a Professor of Law, and no staff or students remember him. I agree with your praise for our military and the great sacrifices made by their families as well.
However, I believe that a person whose love of country is such that they would voluntarily join our armed forces exposing themselves to a potential loss of life, is the same type of patriot who would volunteer to protect and free that country from a usurping dictator. After all, what is risking a career for your country when you are already risking death.
I do not believe we should actively seek military participants, but should one want to join the cause and should that person be a valuable addition to the cause, there is no reason to intervene. History has shown the sacrifices for freedom that patriotic families have made for this country and her freedom. Nothing worth achieving EVER comes without sacrifice. Is freedom a worthy endeavor? Is freedom worthy enough for sacrifice?
The question these patriots have always answered is, “Is FREEDOM worth it?” I thank GOD they have always answered , “YES!”
And, now more than ever, we need our brave soldiers and patriot citizens to understand that the call is going out. Who will answer? Who will sacrifice to keep you and me free? Soldiers have always sacrificed firstmost and with a greater personal cost.
We are at a dangerous time and place in history where to protect is to hide and allow. Careers are a small price to pay when others have lost so much more at the alter of this country and her freedom.

What legal steps do we take to form a sworn and deputized lawful committee to go to Washington DC to arrest and confine for trial all those who are violating the oaths they have taken to the Constitution of the United States? This would include any elected or appointed person for which we can obtain and have warrants.

He volunteered in May, but after hearing about the BC, he had reason to believe that O was an usurper (spelling? ). Anyway, he still says he would like to go overseas. . This lawsuit was to force the issues with Os records to be released. Seems rather odd that his deployment was revoked , don’t you think? Sounds to me like there is NO legal way to prove NBC.

The attorney representing an Army major fighting deployment to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama is not legally his commander-in-chief is declaring victory after the Soldier’s orders were revoked yesterday.
California lawyer Orly Taitz says any service member may now refuse any order by questioning Obama’s legitimacy.
“Do you know what this means?” Taitz asked in a telephone interview with Military.com Tuesday, about an hour after hearing from Maj. Stefan Cook, the officer fighting his deployment to Afghanistan. “It means the Obama administration has blinked. They have no cards to play with. The moment I filed a lawsuit, they didn’t even fight!”
“Can you imagine what are the consequences? This is disastrous” for the administration, she said. “We’ll have no military. Because anytime any Soldier, any Sailor, any Airman does not want to follow any orders, all he has to do is call an attorney and say ‘I don’t want to follow this order because I question the legitimacy of the commander in chief.’ ”
U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, the reserve soldier who says he shouldn’t have to go to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama was never eligible to be president, has had his deployment orders revoked, Army officials said.
Lt. Col. Maria Quon, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command-St. Louis, said Cook was no longer expected to report today to MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., for mobilization to active duty, according to a report in the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer of Georgia.
The paper said Cook, as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee, had volunteered for a year’s deployment to Afghanistan on May 8 and his orders were issued June 9. Quon told the paper that IMAs who volunteer may ask for a revocation up until their reporting date, but that Cook had not asked for this. Quon also told the paper she could not say why the Army had revoked his orders, citing the Privacy Act.
Taitz has been leading an effort to have Obama release a so-called “vault copy” of his birth certificate showing he was born in Hawaii. While the birth certificate that Obama released previously showed he was born in Hawaii, Taitz and others — who have been dubbed “birthers” for their passionate doubt of Obama’s citizenship — believe it’s a phony.
Taitz claims she has 170 service members who have joined her legal battle against Obama.
Taitz filed Cook’s case in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia on July 8, according to the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. In the lawsuit, she told the court that Cook does not believe Obama is a natural-born U.S. citizen, and so cannot serve as president and commander-in-chief.
To follow Obama’s orders, she argued, would put Cook in violation of international law because he’d be taking part in military operations outside the president’s command, the paper reported Tuesday. A hearing was scheduled for July 16 on the complaint.
In February, Taitz took up the cause of Army 1st Lt. Scott Easterling, who is deployed to Iraq. Easterling, in a letter published on the Web site Defendourfreedoms.com, called Obama “a usurper to the Office — an imposter.”
Army officials told Military.com at the time they were aware of Easterling’s statements but offered no further comment.
Taitz said Easterling is still in Iraq but she believes he will be returning home in August. She is attempting to have his case heard by the U.S. Supreme Court, which has already kicked it back once.
On Tuesday’s “Countdown” show on MSNBC, host Keith Olbermann named both Taitz and Cook as his “Worst Person in the World” for the case they have brought in Georgia.
Olbermann criticized Taitz for the various “birther” lawsuits she has brought against Obama, calling her a “con woman.” But he reserved his harshest words for Cook, who he argues is just using the birth certificate flap as an excuse to get out of duty in Afghanistan.
Recalling his own determination in the 1960s that, if drafted, he would oppose it because he didn’t want to get shot and killed, he said: “too bad Maj. Cook doesn’t have the guts to say that. Then he might be deserving of his rank rather than an embarrassment to all those who served without cowardice.”

I agree with the point the major is trying to make and I think he speaks for many members of our armed forces both deployed and at home. I not sure if I agree with his tactics and I hope he has thought this out. You can call him a traitor or a coward but then again he has the courage to stand for wht he believes in. Just a reminder for those who do not know this background…
I am the person who figured out that military Plaintiffs could establish standing in federal court to determine whether BO is a NBC. (I advised using National Guard about to be deployed, that is, before they became federalized and subject to the UCMJ.) I explained this legal epiphany, as well as the general issues of eligibility and lack of official vetting, in a lengthy memo I posted on my newly-created blog in November 2008. I also recruited people – Team jbjd – to widely distribute this memo/idea. We hoped to find someone who would bring a Complaint based on my idea, before the EC voted. Missing that deadline, we hoped to get a case brought before Congress ratified the EC vote.
I personally contacted some of the lawyers who had weighed in on this issue including Berg, Orly, Leo, and Vieira. I followed up with Orly. On her request and, based on her promise to take my idea and file a Complaint for Declaratory Judgment, in GA, I drafted the model Complaint. Then, she changed her mind. Now, I posted my Complaint on line, so that anyone could use it. (I also tailored 2 (two) Complaints to 2 (two) individuals, at their request.)
There is no guarantee that the case I conceived 8 (eight) months ago now, would accomplish its goal, that is, to obtain a court ruling as to whether BO is a NBC; but, unlike the Cook case, if such ruling resulted in this one case, that ruling WOULD apply to every member of the armed forces. And it definitely WOULD NOT subject the appropriate Plaintiff to any discipline under the UCMJ just for filing.

I believe that the plaintiff is asking the court to decide that fact. If he knew that for a fact himself then his conscience would have compelled him to act accordingly, even without civilian court involvemment for that determination.
What would appear as plausible, with that DOD rather unexpected order to honor plaintiff’s request before hearing, is that the powers above believe that that action eliminates the plaintiff’s grounds for the hearing and it would go no further. Then they would efficiently move against any further connection/support of him through his civilian position. With the still unknown facts re: the CIC hovering in the background, there is no reason or basis for the plaintiff to be considered a security risk. And if the employer is using gossip in the old work place as some kind of basis for separation, then Cook would have a case for a prejudicial separation. It looks like retaliation, without proven cause, against the man. Before, these cases have been in the shadows, but now there is more public knowledge and interest that just may backfire against such treatment of the man – esp. if Orly, in her usual “enthusiasm”, gets to mention this during her now most requested interviews in the various media outlets!!

While I agree with Lame Cherry’s post in content, I disagree with the conclusion that John McCain would be next in line for president and also unqualified because he confirmed Obama’s vote. So as I look at the 20th amendment, the one that kicks in if a “President fails to qualify” I see that perhaps we do not have a second choice.
When the code was written the electoral college voted for President and Vice President separately. In fact each individual had his own campaign. Now the “Parties” put forth a “ticket” or team for President and VP. So having just two “tickets” and neither “top” candidate can qualify then I believe that congress shall choose a president. We need to tread lightly on the military. I did not serve my country in the military. I had a draft lottery number that was just too high. I did not volunteer. While I may regret that decision I can not take it back.
My son in law, the farther of my two beautiful grand children pictured here, is a Gunnery Sargent in the Marine Corps and currently awaiting orders to move into Afghanistan from Iraq where is is currently stationed, and from where he re-enlisted for one last time.
While we can debate the legal points of this an that, the soldier is trained, among many things, to obey orders first and foremost. To defy an order is to go against every fiber of a true military personnel. Please tone your remarks with that thought in mind.
On the other hand, if Orly or someone else had Four Star as a plaintiff I think we would see some action.

I haven’t posted here in some time now, but I do read your place, CW, every day and appreciate what is being said. I do talk to SueK pretty often. She’s such a good friend and is very informative and is so great on the flu stuff.
Basically, I want to add that you guys need to form a unified approach and so does jbjd. Maybe he could help Orly. She’s asking for help in a big way, whether it be from other attorneys or paralegals. Instead of people picking at each other, maybe combine the effort and try to form a unity. It’s my opinion only that a unity in efforts would work and help the outcome of all of this.
What do all of us want to unify on anyway? Hopefully a free America, a moral America and one in which we don’t have to listen to the liberals day after day, week after week, etc. We want our kids to go to a school where they’re not taught how to have sex and make it fun! I don’t want that, and I’m sure that you guys don’t either.
Barky wants to divide the conservatives, whether they be democrates or repubs. and anyone that he can. This is a horrible thing for someone to do, but his ways are that he’s a divider of the truth and not a uniter of truth.
Since you guys have such a good relationship with each other, and since everyone is really different, jbjd could offer his opinions to Orly and help her. Even the differences of opinion could help her. Lay your egos aside now and think of the good of America while we still have an America, please.

I went out on November 3 and voted for Baldwin and Castle of the Constitution Party, the RIGHT party for change. But that’s a different topic altogether.
Yes, those who don’t uphold their oaths so that they can keep their jobs are indeed pussies. They can show us they are true patriots and do what is asked of them. What’s happing now is called selective confrontation. Let a usurping enemy of the state pass down illegal orders and destroy a nation over here while doing a gopher hunt for terrorists over there.
How exactly is this good for the nation again? I mean seriously, what’s worse? 545 angry terrorists overseas or 545 tyrannical, maniacal, devious thieves ruining our nation under the umbrella of usurpation. Who is the real enemy anyway?

I thank you for your contribution about putting the idea of getting military personell (NatGard) to file suit to challenge Zero’s eligibility. That’s more than I’ve done.
But, perhaps your own penchant at finding faults in a case, rather than finding solutions, has worked against whatever good will you have as a patriot, and made it morally impossible for many patriots to trust your counsel.
I personally see no reason for publically faulting the lead attorney in the Cook Case so as to give aide and assistance to the Obots or weaken her standing or public support.
So the question returns to yourself, because you seem inconsistent in your behavior.
Personally I hold nothing against you: we do not even know who one another is: you might be living right next door — I do not know…if we every meet someday, and introduce one another, I would be more than glad to have lunch, since I hold no animus against you; even if I disagree with some aspects of your legal reasoning, or your personal criticism of Orly…

and the lawyer’s opinion that the POTUS is
not legally eligible according to the Constitution.

Hannity talked shortly about it but didn’t have the info that Major Cook was fired from his job….he also didn’t get it right that BO is not a “natural born” citizen….He just said he is not a citizen…we don’t know that for sure yet….we do know he is not natural born!!

I read through all of the comments on military.com about Major Cook and it doesn’t look good. Many said Major Cook should be court martialed. Some cited factcheck.org. Some said the people elected Obama so he is the president. So many uninformed armed military that will obey orders from a usurper.

What utter BS…….case in point……you and your comrades have noticed your commander hitting the bottle after lights out and taking a few prescription drugs on top of that; his irrational behavior has been discussed and now, with no forewarning, the commander awakens your unit, tells you and your unit to sneak into the village for a night attack, ordering all to shoot anything that moves…….DUH!
It’s great that Dr Orly’s cases are getting traction. I hope it isn’t all the happenings by barry that is getting these cases heard in court. Cause if n it is, they will be appealed to SCROTUS and then dismissed for the lack of not being correct.

Its not a scam when you petition a court to defend your rights.
A scam is when a prive citizen or group of privat citizens, offer to sell a product or services which they do not render.

Anyhow, what proof is there that roaddog727 is Cook? There is evidence to show that the prior action by Orly has nothing legally to do with Cook’s case.
One can also argue against the charge, by using reveres logic. Tyranny has sprung up from amongst us. President Obama has waged a blitzkrieg on American liberty, and, in only a short time, undercut the Constitution of the United States with a brazen arrogance that should shock Americans into action.
President Obama’s unconstitutional salvo exceeds even the most intolerable indulgences of the Bush Administration. President Bush was often brash and improper in his use of certain mechanisms, but President Obama has moved quickly far beyond the realm of comparatively benign Presidential Signing Statements. When our new President can appoint “Czars” to rule entire sections of American life without electoral accountability or even Congressional confirmation, we have entered the unholy realm of Dictatorship.
Presidents have made special “czar” appointments in the past, to aid in addressing key social or policy issues. But President Obama has turned this capability into direct seizures of power, brazen and unchecked. Obama’s czars have usurped the roles of elected officials, with power over an ever-increasing scope of society. Pay is decided by a Czar. What can or can’t be said on the internet is decided by a Czar. And the power of regulating all aspects of American private life has been transferred from multiple congressionally audited regulatory agencies to the new Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein. The environment, healthcare, finance, and the economy will all fall under the control of this Regulatory Czar, a man who has stated,
A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government… Democratic efforts to reduce the resulting problems ought not be rejected in freedom’s name.
There’s even a “faith-based” Czar to handle church issues. Separation of church and state appears to be somewhat more flexible as long as Obama is in power.
But for a true outrage, consider new Czar of Science, John P. Holdren, who, in a stunning display of unabashed evil, has actively advocated “compulsory abortion”:
There exists ample authority under which population growth could be regulated…It has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.
If that doesn’t send a chill down your spine, consider his words, “All the children who are born, beyond what would be required to keep up the population to a desired level, must necessarily perish, unless room be made for them by the death of grown persons.” Let that sink in: an American official supports forced abortion and the death of “grown persons.” We know what that looks like. It has been official policy for years in Communist China.
On the Question of how to fix the problem of Zero’s usurpation, once he’s been removed:
I think that the Dems and Rep parties need to be sued for fraud in the last election, until they amount they must pay back (let it be by check to every registered voter) far exceeds the assests of the national and state organizations. Big supporters who knew what was going on, like Soros, should also have to pay up damages for fraud, have his international assests siezed, and go to jail for life, for conspiracy against the nation. Then all those who violated their oaths of office and did not defend the constitution need to go to jail for at least 20 years as convicted felons, that includes congressment, govenors, Federal appointed officials, AGs, SS men, Top Brass in the Military, etc..
Also all member of internationalist organizations like the TLC and the CFF, Bilderburgers, etc. need to be sent to jail for conspiracy against the constitution, and these organizations need to be outlawyed.
Then all foreign governments and citizens who supported the usurper needs their assets frozen, their favored nation status cancelled and tarriffs against their imports to the US, assets in US siezed.
Only then will the free peoples of the USA be no longer threatened by this evil weed which seeks to detroy them…

As you can see, Brzezinski is obsessed with getting control of the Middle East (Eurasia) because of all its’ resources.
Why Obama was the near perfect choice to implement the final phase of the world agenda
Like Obama said “I am going to change the world” at several speeches during the campaign. He said this because he has been trained to subdue the US by handing her over to the UN, slowly but surely. Everything he does, he has been prepared for in advance by his “handlers”, namely, the CIA faction that is partnered with the Tri-lateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations. Each group are partnered towards a common agenda .. a one world order under their management.

Obama was Black (he has Arab ancestory too, but looks Black) and had a Muslim name – which his “handlers” had him change to for engaging the Muslim Community. He originally went by “Barry Soetoro” for years, and then changed the name early on when running for political offices. A strategy to lure Muslim countries into the Western World Order paradigm led by these factions/partnerships for a one world order.

Do you now see why Obama has his records sealed and many do not dare confront him on these sensitive issues? The truth is, Obama doesn’t even have a lot of the records Americans are requesting. We are all commenters on a common blog that I personally enjoy a great deal. As a participant I often gain new, and certainly fresh insight into a subject which I might not have even thought about in many years. To a degree this has been the case over the last few months. Some issues I enjoy providing any relevant viewpoints that I can offer that are founded within my lifetime experiences of actual involvement. While I might be a bit antiquated the UCMJ has changed very little since the 1950s. I invite those who are referring to the UCMJ to go to a public library, and do some research into Article 138, and 135, as each pertains to Major Cook. Since his case is not Navy specific, I can’t cite a specific Navy Reg., although under CONDUCT you will find some pertinent behavioral assertions,which extend to, and include the execution of orders . I am sure that those who oblige themselves will find their efforts well rewarded, and at the same time you will have gained ACCURATE information pertinent to the issue at hand. Every library has these volumes. I assume that law libraries would have them as well.
JUST REMEMBER THIS:

When a new CO of a unit or captain of a ship arrives. what is the protocol to ascertain he has received the propter authority to take over command, are papers presented, who verifies them?
If later they should appear to be forgeries, and no on higher up in the chain responds to inquiries as to this fact, what does a Commissioned Officer do?
What I’d like to know is this….if these efforts are stonewalled at every turn, WILL the military get involved? We’ve seen it in Honduras – the Congress there intervened because they understood that their President/dictator wanna-be was attempting to utilize power that went beyond the dicates of that country’s constitution. Of course, our democratic congress will never order our military to do any such thing….but WHEN, for the love of God, will the men and women fighting in our military realize that THEY’RE ON THE WRONG SIDE?? Even if some judge somewhere gives a favorable ruling on this, for example, ordering that Obama produce his vaulted long-form birth certificate and perhaps his college papers, it will invariably be appealed by Obama’s lawyers, and I am pretty sure that at the appellate level the judges will side with Obama. They are likely all in his back pocket.

As far as the Army is concerned, on a junior level, CO’s are selected locally–and they are already known to the chain of command. On a senior level, CO’s go before a selection board. They are so well documented, it’s not even funny. If you are in the military, you are very documented…and known–whether it is in a good way or a bad way. Both levels are supported with paperwork and military orders. Most often, there is a change of command ceremony that takes place as well. The military is like a big family. You are known!!!!
gianni, I have to disagree. If only one judge ordered discovery, the first step in the process for a case to be heard on t he merits, the game is over. Any one of these cases that goes forward would cause the “discovery” of the truth. That is why his lawyers fight to keep any case from being heard.

I was wondering the same thing regarding the military. I listened to Savage last night. One of his callers, a veteran, said that the military will not let this happen, and Savage went on a tear. He asked the caller where was the Congress, where were the citizens and particularly, where was the military to allow this all to happen? He was right.
He went on to say that a dictatorship has already set up and nothing will get rid of it-it’s entrenched forever. Had to turn him off as the depression factor was starting to kick in for me.
It appears that a country like Honduras knows how to do it better than America, I’m sorry to say.

Judge Clay Land sided with the defense, which claimed in its response to Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook’s suit, filed July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, that Cook’s suit is “moot” in that he already has been told he doesn’t have to go to Afghanistan, so the relief he is seeking has been granted.
Now we know for sure BO is a FRAUD….they won’t touch it with a 10 foot pole….time for all military to stand and not fight in any foreign country until the eligibility issue is resolved….dismissal is not an option!!!!
Yes, this is a dictatorship in formation. Unlike other 3rd world quick takeovers with military force, this one is merrily going on its way through our cowardly and treasonous congress. When history writes of this I hope every single name of the traitors is given his/her proper place in tearing apart this great country. Unbeknownst to these poor boiling frogs is that any power that they “think” they may have now, will be yanked from them when the true dictatorship is solidified. And yet they will be the ones, when, IF our armed forces ever wake up, will order their lock ups and even destruction. They’ve already proven that they really don’t care if we have a strong defense. If Major Cook was “FIRED”it would have been an erroneous act. Military personell are DISCHARGED for various reasons,but not FIRED. If he was DISCHARGED it would have to be under the Conciencious Objector regulation. They cannot legally discharge him without informing him of the reasons in writing. To discharge him in retribution for having challenged the authority of the CINC can itself be challenged in a military court via JAG. He can request a Court Martial procedure to challenge OBAMA. If they dismiss it he has WON.

If Major Cook wAS ILLEGALLY discharged WITHOUT a hearing, ot formally presented with the reasons, he was unjustly discharged. Such an act of retribution is also against military law. He should contacj JAG, and file a case. He had requested active duty,but would only report for duty if the CINC proved his authority to send Cook to Afghanistan. If he was illegally discharged, he can still MAKE HIS CASE. If the JAG refuses to accept his case then it is pretty clear that they are covering for Soetoro.

In firing someone the person who does the firing MUST do so using Federal Labor laws. If Cook was fired in retribution for his complaint against Obama he is now justified in suing the living manure out of his former employer.

I have a little experience in this area. I personally spent a number of years as a DOD contractor myself. The Federal labor language appears in all US Government contracts no matter who is the provider, and what department is the intended recipient of the provider’s services,or products. Every contractor is made specifically aware that Federal Labor Law must be complied with, or face action from the US Government, extending to being removed as a contractor, and/or fined or both.

I am guessing,but if Cook was fired from his job with a US Government contractor, it is probable that Soetoro threatened the contractor. The contractor now has something he can do also .He needs to file a a specific complaint against the DOD via his state Senator. At the very least he has the possibility of collecting a suitable settlement for Federal “harassment” They will have no case as long as the material,and/or services that the contractor was providing was per agreed contract. This was all a very stupid action by the contractor, against Cook. The contractor could easily end up no longer a Federal contractor.

No, They were trying to use McCain as a way to pass a bill to eliminate the natural born clause and change the Constitution, but it didn’t work.
This was after they got caught removing Soetoro’s foreign passport from the State Department.

If Major Cook was “FIRED”it would have been an erroneous act. Military personell are DISCHARGED for various reasons,but not FIRED. If he was DISCHARGED it would have to be under the Conciencious Objector regulation. They cannot legally discharge him without informing him of the reasons in writing. To discharge him in retribution for having challenged the authority of the CINC can itself be challenged in a military court via JAG. He can request a Court Martial procedure to challenge OBAMA. If they dismiss it he has WON.

Obviously you are irritated by my CANDOR. We are all allegedly permitted to post comments on this blog, supposedly as often as we choose. If I appear to be trying to dominate the thread such is NOT the case. I sometimes choose to augment someone else’s comment because it interests me very much. I choose to call it “participation”. But this really is all that keeps me here. Otherwise I would have been elsewhere a long time ago. There are a few who post extremely interesting, and timely information,all of which seems to be well researched and/or is founded from their personal experience archives. Either way I see the exchange of such information as vital in the mission of helping everyone understand an issue. If it requires an extra comment to accomplish ,so be it. I have in the past recounted some of my experiences at the 1954 Eniwetok BRAVO test because I thought it might interest someone,particularly in light of what is going on in both North Korea, and Iran.Much of the interim years I spent expanding my knowledge of nuclear physics and, radioactive fallout etc. I tried to condense this material into a few comments. Not easy! I am in no way trying to be a know it all,or take credit for anything. I pass along this information in the hope that somebody might remember something I said …….(before the DETONATION) that they can now use,to protect themselves, and stay alive. In short I care about the well being of others. That is only where I come from! I have errantly chosen to post a few innapropriate comments, and quickly realised that I had done wrong. I posted an apology to everyone on the blog. I have also chosen to occasionally use a few “acidic” words in a recent comment to show my anger with a perpetrator, or whatever. I will probably continue that practice. My outspoken venue is ME, and at 77 years of age it is UNLIKELY that I will change. I have paid my dues.Yes I will probably ruffle some feathers from time to time. The late Paul Harvey once said”It is somtimes necessary to ruffle a few feathers to allow a point to soak in.” I NEVER missed his lunchtime commentaries. He was a BRILLIANT man.
With the last comment I really hope that everyone now knows me just a little better! I am an outspoken person who means no ill will against anyone. At this late date about the only thing that really pis##s me off is when somebody gets all over a serviceman’s case. That is when you will read some well chosen “acidic” words. As is the case regarding the USS Cole. I will remain “acid”until the slimey perpetrators are HANGED from the crossarm of the mainmast of the Cole for all the world to SEE.

What is the matter with you? What have I said to cause you to write a diatribe? My first post that you seemed to become defensive over was about the change in the dialogue in the posts from just a year ago when we all had so much hope and now we don’t. It is strange when citizens begin to use words like civli war and revolution.
My post directly to you meant no offense for your defensive comments about my first post which was never directed at you. It was only a lighhearted attempt to remind you, you are not the only one who posts. I don’t take issue or ever demean any one who posts. So I must ask what is your problem. I have no quarrel with you. I am not irritated with you. Why are you so upset. As a matter of fact, I have always enjoyed the information and ideas you share on this blog.

There was nothing I said in my post that stated it seemed the dialogue changed in less than a year from a “it couldn’t happen in America” to the current talk of civil was and revolution that was singling you out.
When you responded to me you have used the same vocabulary since ’51 and never been afraid, I was not irritated. I merely gave you a light hearted response to remind you you are not the only person who posts. It was my way of saying I wasn’t suggesting you were afraid.
I happen to appreciate the information and ideas you share. I can not understand why you seem to be so upset with me. It is not my way too demean any one who posts on this blog. Why are so upset with me?
My mother was never shot at an enemy, nor did she bleed from a physical wound on foreign soil. Nevertheless, IMHO, she did “give her life” in the service of her country…ahead of herself and her children…as the spouse of a career military man. There are countless patriotic one, with families, who bore their cross of long periods of separation from their soul-mates, co-parent, friend and lover…as a sacrifice for the liberty and freedom of others. In my book, that makes them equal heroes…the ones who stayed behind, alone, tending to the homefront (which, by is intended to be the work of two: a father and a mother) while enduring a ‘silent suffering’. Those people, OS77 and others, are every bit as deserving of my appreciation and respect for acts of self-less bravery and sacrifice, as those who left these shores and the comforts of home, only to face the atrocities that come with war.
To you who endured all the time of separation from your loved ones…and maybe some of them never came home…I salute you, and thank God for you: you deserve CMH medal too!
