Comment: Even the Dept of Health in HI says they have his original birth certificate:
Response and/or info on subject: Yes, a press release was issued on October 31, 2008, by the Hawaii Department of Health by
its Director Dr. Fukino said that she had “personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of
Health has Senator Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
That statement failed to resolve any of the questions being raised by
litigation and press accounts. Being “on record” could mean either that its contents are in the computer
database of the department or there is an actual “vault” original.
Further, the report does not say whether the birth certificate in the “record” is a
Certificate of Live Birth or a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth. In Hawaii, a Certificate of Live Birth
resulting from hospital documentation, including a signature of an attending physician, is different from a
Certificate of Hawaiian Birth. For births prior to 1972, a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth was the result of
the uncorroborated testimony of one witness and was not generated by a hospital. Such a Certificate
could be obtained up to one year from the date of the child’s birth. For that reason, its value as prima
facie evidence is limited and could be overcome if any of the allegations of substantial evidence of birth
outside Hawaii can be obtained. The vault (long Version) birth certificate, per Hawaiian Statute 883.176
allows the birth in another State or another country to be registered in Hawaii. Box 7C of the vault
Certificate of Live Birth contains a question, whether the birth was in Hawaii or another State or Country.
Therefore, the only way to verify the exact location of birth is to review a certified copy or the original
vault Certificate of Live Birth and compare the name of the hospital and the name and the signature of the
doctor against the birthing records on file at the hospital noted on the Certificate of the Live Birth.
Comment: He and other websites have his birth certificate posted.
Response: There are reports showing that the authenticity of the bc on his website is in question. However, it does not matter
if it is or not. The document does not have any of the necessary information to verify. The only way to know the exact
location of birth is to review a certified copy or the original vault Certificate of Live Birth and compare the name of the
hospital and the name and the signature of the doctor against the birthing records on file at the hospital noted on the Certificate of the Live Birth.
Comment: The people vetted him when the majority voted for him (don’t argue with the figures, which we know are wrong)
Response: How can the people vet someone without the facts about that person. Obama has not publicly released any
documents, including the bc and college documents. Even if the bc online were proven to be his, many people do not get
on the internet. They rely on the media to give them information or the candidate during a press conference. This never happened.
Comment: It is too late to do anything. We would not be able to do anything by the time he is supposed to take office.
Response: A challenge can be made by a senator and a member of the house on Jan 8. The 20th amendment states that
“if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall
have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a
Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or in the manner in
which one who is to act shall be elected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice
President shall have qualified.” Thus, if Senator Obama cannot take office due to his citizenship,
succession to the Presidency is set.
Closing comments to the person you are calling:

Mr. Obama needs to present all documents requested so they can be verified. Since there are school records indicating that he was registered as Barry Soetero, Indonesian citizenship,
this should include not only his birth certiicate but also change of name and change of citizenship back to US documents.
Bottom line is that Mr. Obama has 3 teams of lawyers working to keep these documents from being released when he could easily end the speculation.. Do you think that a person that has nothing to hide would do this?

“No Burris in our Senate” protests Harry Reid, the ever so self righteous. “Blago, you evil, step down. Richardson, we will not tolerate corruption in our pure and infallible government,” Democratic crocodile honorables are proclaiming! “We wash our hands of you, Blabbing Blago,” the so very nobles exclaim to the caught-with-his-pants-down Illinois Democratic governor. My, my, my, what proud defenders of decency, honesty and justice our politicians have recently become! There wonderful actions should make your heart soar like an eagle with pride.
With politicians of such of integrity, why am I not soaring like an eagle? How come I don’t feel ever so clean, safe and humble in the face of this brave leadership? Why is it I only feel disgust? Could it be the only reason the Dems are angry with Blago is because he was careless enough to get caught? Could it be the timing of Blago’s arrest is of special benefit to the Obama thugs? Somewhere in the Obama worshiper’s murky souls is joy because all MSM attention is focused on Blago, Burris, and Richardson. They have turned these guys into red herrings so they can complete their final strategy without interference? While MSM is wasting news time making a big deal over these menial scandals, it continues to keep public the attention off the greatest and most horrible crime about to happen to America. The master minds of this hideous conspiracy are hoping the public will not notice or even care they are placing a USURPER in the Whitehouse! They are coating the event with so much glitz and glitter; they actually think the public will believe this is cause for celebration instead of profound sorrow! These guilty conspirators not only steal the presidency, rape the Constitution, they mind fuck the public! That is audacity at its finest!
Strange as it is, Obama is far less offensive to me in the over all scheme than the people currently in government who aided and abetted him knowing fully that once installed, he will be a USURPER. If I were Obama with an opportunity to be President regardless if I were or were not a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN, I would do exactly what Obama has done and is doing. Hooray for me and the heck with you! To hell with the American constitution. To hell with America. Take it to the limit and see if I can get away with it. What is there to lose compared with what is there to win? If Obama does get away with it, then he can become Emperor of the Universe. If the stupid American people should wake up, and say; “No, Obama, you are not qualified, you can not be president.” So what! So what is the worst they can do to him? So what if Sotoero’ hands get slapped. So what if he doesn’t get to play in that sand box for awhile. It is a small risk for such a huge prize.
If Sotoero takes the oath Jan.15, 2009 on President Lincoln’s Bible, our present government will knowingly have installed a USURPER. From Jan.15, 2009 forward the American people have been betrayed by their own elected people. This day will go forever down in world history as the blackest day of America. It will be known as the day the completion of the Coup d’ etat. America was sold to the highest bidder. In more basic terms, if Obama is sworn in on Jan.20, 2009, The American people have been screwed, blewed, and tattooed by its own government. The Obama thugs and worshipers will have taken America down a no return “shit’s creek”.
Obama is not the only villain in the Coup d’ etat. Obama has a whole legion of traitors willing to commit treason against America. The real villains are the whores and sluts of Congress, state and Supreme Courts, and the American People who knew Obama did not qualify and ignored the rule of the Constitution and supported him any way. Bill and Hilary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Oprah Winfrey, The Kennedys, every member of the electoral college who voted for Obama in spite of being well advised to not do so until Obama first established proof he is qualified. (Which to this date he has not.) The judges who refused to make a simple court order—ask Obama to produce his docs and prove he qualifies. These judges chose not to do their jobs and dismissed the many law suits based upon technicality. They, too, are guilty and responsible for the loss of America. These judges know who they are and so does the American public. The nine Judges of the Supreme Court who appear to be going along with the Coup d’ etat rather that honor their oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States and throw the bum out! (Justice Roberts has agreed to swear Obama, the Usurper into office.) What does that make Justice Roberts? What does that predict about what the judges are going to rule regarding Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS.
It is quite obvious there is a reverse lynch mentality in the actions of these Obama Worshipers. They appear to think that strength in numbers absolve them of guilt. Crime is crime whether committed by only one person or 1,000,000 people. Every person who knew Obama is not eligible to president who assisted Obama’s journey to the Whitehouse by ignoring the Constitutional rule in any way shape or form no matter how small or big is guilty of conspiracy, treason, perjury, public betrayal, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and, and, and, and, and, and, and.
Even if Obama moves into the Whitehouse and assumes the role of Presidency, the issue of Obama not being a Natural Born Citizen and is therefore a Usurper will not end. There are thousands of patriotic citizens who are going to continue through legal methods to insist Obama produce his documents and challenge the legality of anything he does while he remains in office without having proved he is qualified.
This is the greatest scandal in American history. It has and will become a monumental mirror daily reflecting to all the people involved their own corrupt characters. This excruciating scandal is shouting to the whole world the names of the people who so willingly sold America—their own country– for the price of a little dirty power and 30 pieces of silver. The names of every one of you are well known. Sooner or later this mess will be sorted out. Even though you may dance at his inauguration, you will one day regret January 20, 2009. You will discover you didn’t get away with it. One day each and every one of you will be held legally accountable in the same way the Nazi war criminals were made to stand trial for their crimes against humanity. You know who you are. I called my congressman , and Ron paul. Here is a summary of what Ron Paul’s staffer said:
I did get a call from Ron Paul’s staffer, Norman. He was polite and explained that Ron Paul did not feel there was enough evidence to take such an action. He kept saying there is nothing to it, but He did not have anything specific to answer the dual citizenship at birth or the Indonesia citizenship issues (the real issues, not the smokescreen issues). He mentioned that Marty Berg is a Clinton supporter, and that the Clinton’s would have been all over this if there was anything to it (what if they are tied into it or have secrets that Obama keeps?). I don’t accept that kind of logic (Clinton’s vetted him by not attacking him).
I conceded that if Ron Paul truly believes there is not a case, his position is correct, but still am not convinced that he is right (i.e., that there is no case). I understand the ire that would be raised if congress took such an action, but I still contend that it is the constitution that is at stake, and that Obama really dug himself in by refusing to provide:
1. Original birth certification with the name and location of the hospital, attending physician, witnesses, etc.
2. Not providing information on his Indonesian citizenship status.
3. Sealing records (i.e., his dissertation, and university enrollment applications, etc.).
Mr. Obama is running for president of the United States, not coach of an 8 year old softball team in Gary, Indiana. We have some right to ask questions, and if we do not get answers, we should be suspicious. It’s time to take back our country.

This is to you, and if you can, please give me an answer. My husband and I voted for McCain this time, and we really thought about what we were going to do, not knowing what we should do, although RP may have been the better choice. And neither one of us knew much about RP. I’m being honest.
Anyway, and I know you may or may not know this, why was McCain not a natural born citizen? I only ask this because he was born of a military daddy and it would be rough for anyone military to prove he’s not natural born. The reason that I say this is, those guys are wonderful and protect us (the U.S.) and I can see them saying, You’d better believe my child is natural born! This is because I have a son-in-law who has been in Iraq twice now. And what I’m saying is this, I know my son-in-law and if he had his child over there while being in the U.S. Army, you’d better believe he’d say, My child is natural born — and keep in mind this point, because I’m fighting for your asses!!! Well, that’s what he would say, sorry.
So even though one must be born on American soil, there is something more to it. I think that it has to do with unity and not a division of allegiance. You can’t say one who is military and is actually fighting for our nation has a division of allegiance, can you?

I’m a newbie here, but maybe this info might help. I saw an article tonight that said Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) has been a real pain to Harry Reid lately and has tried to block a bunch of bills that Harry wants passed. Obama even dared to mention that Coburn was a friend of his, but I think Dr. Coburn sounds like a patriot. He might be the senator we need to stand up in the Senate on Thursday and object to the electoral vote. Does anybody think he might do it?

I am posting my letter that I not only mailed but I also faxed it to Harry Reid, John Ensign (Senators from Nevada) and Shelley Berkley (Congresswoman from Nevada). I am also sending the letter and document for Point of Order to John McCain because I voted for him in the General Election but have been somewhat disappointed in him of late. I feel he has thrown Sarah Palin under the bus and he is acting more like a Liberal than a Conservative lately. Dear Senator Reid,
Being a concerned citizen of the United States of America I am using my right to “petition for redress of grievances” as preserved under the 1st Amendment of the Constitution in objecting to the election of Barack H. Obama II to the office of President of the United States of America. It is my understanding that this right to petition has constitutional force over any breach of the Constitution (or laws). As one of several elected officials from the State of Nevada…….and my voice in Washington D.C., I am requesting that you object on January 8, 2009 and there after in prohibiting Mr. Obama from becoming President Elect of our great nation. The reason for this objection is that Mr. Obama is not eligible to be President of the United States per the requirement of being “natural born” and this is certainly a breach of our treasured Constitution!
Please use my enclosed document submitted with this letter on my behalf and know that you took an oath of office to uphold the Constitution. It is my right and your duty to demand that Mr. Obama prove he is a “natural born” citizen and qualified to be the President of the United States. This proof is of grave importance if he is to assume the highest office in our country. He must, under law, show “we the people” using legitimate and appropriate documentation…… that he is without a doubt a “natural born” citizen of the United States of America. I along with millions of other concerned citizens believe he is not!!! Please study the Constitution and I am sure you too will come to the realization that Mr. Obama never was and never will be eligible to operate as President of the United States of America as set forth by our founding fathers and the framers of our precious Constitution.
Please demonstrate to me that you have taken your job as Senator of the United States seriously. I thank you for your service to our country and expect you to comply with your duty as a Senator because the Constitution also tells us…….If any person violates the Constitution then I, as a citizen of the United States of America can bring to the government any violation of the Constitution and it shall be made right. Therefore…. through my Petition for Point of Order provided for you here I request your representation of my objection on January 8, 2009 and thereafter.
This is serious business and I can not reiterate it enough times the importance in making certain that we are electing a qualified person to the highest office in our land.
Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you and will take comfort in knowing that you will honor your oath of office this January 8, 2009 and there after. If you do not make this objection and Barack H. Obama II is allowed to take the oath of office on January 20, 2009 he will have become nothing more than a USURPER (removable by force) and you will have been a party to the breach of our Constitution which is punishable by law! I agree about not citing obviously erroneous facts. But it should be also pointed out that the Hawaii law that allows foreign births to be registered in Hawaii was not on the books until well after Obama was born, so it could not have been used to register his foreign birth in 1961. Plus, the certification has his place of birth listed as Honolulu.
I keep hearing / reading the Justices (I use that term with regret) do not accept phone calls or e-mail’s, may I suggest we show up in person??? A million or so can not be ignored. Storm the courthouse, and demand to be heard!!!!! Lets do it fellow American’s, take our country back. We are worth the Fight. The addresses near to where I own property do NOT match up. But, remember, the attorney’s that Obama used to work for, hold title to other people’s property as one of their services to wealthy clients, but to also “widows and orphans and disabled” who would never know how to take care of the legal aspects of property ownership. So, this really means nothing.
West of the Mississippi, many parcels of land are owned by Escrow Departments, and Obama’s grandmother managed the Escrow Department for the Bank of Hawaii (or better, the Bank Paribas, Paris, France).
So, there is probably nothing to this at all, exccpt for the fact that the addresses I know about do not check out as legal addresses at all.
So, something is funny about this, but it’s not that Obama’s names are on the account. We will never know, because of attorney/client privilege.

I just called the offices of several reps/senators not all yet but so far all the staffies have been very good listeners.Duncan Hunter’s office gave me the e-mail for a senior staffie (joe.kasper@mail.house.gov) if you want to do that.Send compelling info.I copied the talkingg points after using my own explanation above it.At Hutchison’s office I asked how many calls he’s getting ..he said quite a few.I asked him to throw in my hat.I relayed my Constitutional talking points then told him with humor that if Kay Bailey didd not want to stand up that she had my legal permission to use my point of order that is en route to her office. He respectfully agreed with my “rights as a citizen” to avail myself..etc..It was a positive phone call.

With respect to Sun-Yat-Sen’s Hawaiian Birth Certificate, and why it is probably genuine at the time (even though it was a fraud now), is that it was a way around the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882. Hawaii was then a territory.
“SEC. 14. That hereafter no State court or court of the United States shall admit Chinese to citizenship; and all laws in conflict with this act are hereby repealed.”
The famous case about American citizenship, Wong Kim Ark, was decided in 1898. In that decision, Wong Kim Ark was considered a U.S. Citizen on the grounds that he had a “genuine U.S. birth certificate,” and was therefore exempt from the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
Any Chinese who left the United States had to obtain certifications for reentry, and the Act made many immigrants permanent aliens by excluding them from U.S. Citizenship.
Sun-Yat-Sen was probably looking for some insurance to get into the United States, or at least NOT be forceably removed from travel on an American passenger ship.
The Hawaiians also had a grievance. They claimed that white businessmen from America colonized Hawaii and eventually conspired with the U.S. government to overthrow the native government.
They said that the United States staged an armed military invasion in 1893 which overthrew the monarchy, and established a puppet regime.
After a few years the puppet regime was able to get Hawaii annexed to the United States despite a written protest signed by nearly all ethnic Hawaiians.
The America’s annexation of Hawaii in 1898 extended U.S. territory into the Pacific.
Because Senator Akaka continues to remind the U.S. Senate of past abuses of Hawaii by the United States, especially towards the Hawaiian native language and culture.
Senator Akaka has twice used the phrase “as long as Hawaii is a part of the United States,” suggesting that the time might come when Hawaii is no longer part of America.
Many in the Senate view Senator Obama was a way to hea these wounds. So, they are not going to look into his birth certificate, if they can help it.

Now that we have settled this, let’s ALL demand to see the actual certificate that includes among other things besides box 7c: Hospital name and address, Date and time, Doctors signature, etc. You know, the things that would help us all to believe that obama was actually born here in the US.

Don’t forget, that it was the British who tried to overthrow Sun Yat-Sen in China, because he was trying to establish in China an American-style Republic, something he learned while living in Hawaii.
Decent American – The law allowing registration of a foreign born person in limited circumstances was passed in 1982. Look it up yourself by going to the Hawaii legislature site on line and then to Hawaii Revised Statutes. If I can look if up in a few minutes, I can guarantee a congressional staff person could find it.
Well, it’s official, NO Senator will challenge Obama’s votes on Jan8, 2009. When asked, most of them chuckled or said oh those crazy fringe people, they’re nuts! After these votes are officially counted in the next couple days, it’s over. He’s in. All of the calling, faxing and convincing didn’t change the mind of a single electors and no senator will stand up either. I think Ron Paul might be correct, no one that’s important cares!
I got through to my Congressman’s office. The person I talked to wanted to know why I say Obama has hired 3 law firms to defend this. I said I’d call back with proof. What is the proof?
He said all the lawsuits were against states and the AGs in each state defended the cases. He said it was costing tax payer money, not Obama’s.
I want to prove this guy wrong. How do we know about 3 law firms. What are the names of the firms or the lawyers. How do we know how much was spent?

This issue is most urgent and pressing. If Congress or the Court allows an unqualified person to be President, they will have allowed an “usurper” to take office and will have disavowed their oath to defend the Constitution. Brownback of Kansas has a really arrogant staffie.I held him down pretty hard on explaining to me why this affair was a “hoax”.I cited SR 511 and made him explain to me that if McCain was declared a NBC then using the same logic how is Obama also an NBC.He tried to tell me that the Constitution only required one citizen to be a US citizen.I asked him which amendment he referred to ..the 14th??? He started faltering bigtime.If you call any office today this would be a good one.I would not let him off the phone until he was told repeatedly by me to read the Constitution and check.
I called the office of my local rep – I guess the staffer listened but he came back with a few comments that I couldn’t respond to – I told the guy I would call back, so perhaps you can help me come up with good answers to these:
* He said that there’s no conclusive evidence (e.g. a foreign birth certificate, immigration documents ). All of the evidence I offered was “circumstantial” or at worst merely “speculation”.
* He said that the Constitution gives states the right to determine who is and is not a natural born citizen of that state, hence if Hawaii says he is “natural born” – then no other state can re-determine Obam’s citizenship.
* He said that it is silly to expect the congress or the senate to challenge a President Elect who has just won a landslide victory… it would be political suicide to attack Obama’s eligibility at the height of his popularity.
* He thanked me for my time and suggested that I keep gathering evidence because if Obama’s popularity fades there would be plenty of Republicans who would be prepared to use hard, conclusive evidence.
There’s quite a few issues there – I hope my friends here can help me come up with a suitable response to these questions before it is too late.

I spoke politely to mostly staffers. Most seemed to have little real details. I literally told them many things they had not heard of. These people are not much more than the average sleeping American.
Most would not make any comment about the situation. Curious.
Generally, those that did talk, think there is not much to the story. It’s kinda sad how that our PC media has turned all this into tin foil hat talk.
To me, this is all indicative of the real forces behind Obama to begin with.

I’m sorry to see people at this blog still being diverted by this whole birth certificate irrelevancy. The issue has moved beyond that stage. There have been enough scholarly articles written and items submitted online like the senate resolution bestowing the status of NBC to John McCain and voted on by obama, acknowledging that the very definition of NBC is an American born of two (2) American parents. That resolution resolves the question entirely for me. I don’t care where obama was born, in what hospital, or who delivered him. As long as his father was Kenyan, he can never be a NBC. That is why idiotic articles that misstate the arguments trying to minimalize the issue are printed. The media and the politicians ignore the issue, not out of ignorance but, because they know they cannot argue the law or the facts as they apply to obama. We are witnessing a blatant attempt to overthrow our Constitutional form of government. That is the only thing of historical significance about this election.

The birth certificate has significance beyond Natural Born Citizen status. Should he have been born overseas or lost his citizenship, he is ineligible not only for the presidency, but also Congress. It also enables our immigration enforcers to deport him back to wherever he came from.
The U.S. needs to set an example of “what not to do as a politician” in this case or it will set an acceptance level to foreign power and control over our nation.

-It is true we do not have conclusive evidence about the place of Obama’s birth. This is because Obama has refused to release his long form birth certificate and has hired three law firms to fight all these law suits. Experts have reviewed the Certificate of Life Birth on Obama’s website and they claim that its authenticity is suspect.
-Their statement that each state determines whether someone is a natural born citizen is completely false. The term natural born citizen is only mentioned once in the constitution, Article II, Section I, Clause 5 and here it states that the president must be a natural born citizen. It does not define what a natural born citizen is. The only authority that can determine this is the Supreme Court where there are several cases about this issue currently pending.
-As far as the last point, Congress has an obligation to uphold the Constitution. This is what their oath of office is about. It does not matter if Obama won in a landslide. If he is not constitutionally eligible to serve, Congress has a duty to disqualify him. If people would have been informed about these issues during the election, Obama would not have won this election.
I hope this helps you when speaking with the representatives office. It is very sad how ill informed these people are.

It’s helpful to me, but I do not think that kind of talk is going to be effective in the context of a conversation with a busy congressional staffer. I think we need to tighten up our arguments: We need to be specific and simply stick to the evidence.
It is true we do not have conclusive evidence about the place of Obama’s birth. I need to find a way to say this that does not sound like conspiracy-theory:
Naturally if people take a case against Obama he will hire specialist lawyers in his defense. That’s a fact but it’s not germane to the issue at hand.
Obama’s refusal to produce documentation is suspicious but not conclusive. Unfortunately this is just circumstantial evidence again.
The best point here is the review of documents: I think we need to be spesific about which experts did the review and explain how they were qualified to make this assessment.
Unless we can show that the experts are credentialed authorities on birth-certificate authenticity then their opinion counts for nothing.

I’m no constitutional law expert, so I can only paraphrase what I have been told: I was informed that it is up to the individual states to determine the status of any citizen for whom they issue documentation.
For example, if the state of Arizona (where I live) wishes to determine if I am a citizen they can contact the state of Texas (where I was born) and ask the relevant authorities. The state of Texas has the obligation to keep truthful and accurate records of citizens born in that state. If the state of Texas says I’m a Texan by birth then there’s nothing anybody in Arizona can say or do to dispute that.
This potentially opens a possibility of some kind of fraud-case against the state of Hawaii: Supposing the state were to mis-represent Obama’s birth-status that would almost certainly be a felony, however once again we face the problem of lack of evidence:
How can we prove that the state of Hawaii has lied? All we have is circumstantial evidence, which unfortunately is not going to convince anybody.
The only authority that can determine this is the Supreme Court where there are several cases about this issue currently pending.
I hope this is not the case: If SCOTUS is the only authority that can determine this then by definition it cannot be determined by Congress.
Any staffer is just going to say that it’s premature to take any action until the Supreme Court has determined what it means to be “natural born” – it’s fair to say that nobody is 100% sure since the meaning had to be re-defined in the case of McCain who was born on an overseas military-base.
I’d avoid this line of argument if possible, because it’s guaranteed to loose the debate.
If he is not constitutionally eligible to serve, Congress has a duty to disqualify him.
I think the fundamental point here is that Congress is not going to do it’s duty unless we provide much stronger evidence:
Is my Congressman going to risk his career based on circumstantial evidence alone? Heck no, but if I provide him with hard evidence things might be different.
Following this post is the letter I faxed, e-mailed and sent in the US mail with my notorized copy of my point of order petition. I also spent an hour on the phone today as a follow up to the faxes and the mailed letters I sent out to Reid, Ensign, McCain and Berkely. What I came away with is…..they get so many faxes and letters daily that it will probably take months for them to get to mine!!! This is a joke and I doubt very seriously any of our Point of Order Petitons will ever even be looked at??? What are we to do next??? This is all so frustrating. You need to educate yourself.
The “resolution” of the senate, passed last April, 2008, declaring John McCain to be eligible for the presidency was meaningless. A “resolution” has no force of law, it only indicates the “sense” of the senate, which of itself, in this instance, is a sad commentary.
In any event, no statute, even one signed by the President having the force of law, can override or supercede the Constitution, as the Constitution is “the supreme law of the land”.
FYI, “a natural born citizen” has been defined over and over and over again and again, by both the supreme court and the people who promoted and supported the 14th amendment, which sets forth terms for citizenship, but does NOT override the requirements for “natural born citizenship”.

Well, so they’re prepared with some inept arguments. At least they’re a little different from the old ones.
To wit, I would respond thusly:
1. Obama refuses to provide any corroborating evidence to the worthless Certification of Live Birth.
2. Hawaii has never said Obama is natural born, in fact Hawaii has never said Obama was even born in Hawaii. They say they hold “a” birth certificate, and as we all know Hawaii will register a birth certificate from anywhere, and issue a Certification of Live Birth to anyone from anywhere. Every hospital in the state says his mother was never a patient there.
3. This is about our Constitution, it’s not a popularity contest, and political suicide is nothing compared to patriots who’ve given up their very lives for the sake of country. The spirit and intent of the Constitution is to prevent a usurpation, which is exactly what is happening here. Hitler also ran and won by a landslide! (Wow what nerve!)
4. This is also not about Republicans, it IS about our REPUBLIC and we are CITIZENS who seek to defend it.

And so they allow an inelible candidate through the front door. What does that tell you?

Objections must be in writing. If none were received, then the VP has no one to recognize to make an objection.
BHO is not “going down”
There is no provision in law for any court to stop his assuming the presidency now that Congress has certified the election (nor can that certification be challenged in any court).
The only way to remove BHO now is to impeach him after the 20th.
And if Clinton couldn’t be removed for lying under oath directly to our faces (with political hacks telling us that was “no big deal,”) there’s absolutely no chance BHO will be impeached.
Impeachement is a political decision, not a technical one.

Please consider this very carefully. I think it is our ONLY hope. We need to decouple our concerns as much as possible from Obama in a specific way, and focus like a laser beam on “process”.
To the extent that we focus on Obama we will get no attention and no respect. We will be pigeon-holed as sore losers and whiners. In that regard, the conservatives need to understand that, ideologically and capability-wise, Obama is not known to be any worse than Jimmy Carter. On the flip side a fair number (even most?) liberals feel that Obama is no worse (and probably a lot better) than Bush 43 or Richard Nixon.
There is time for political contests and time for reconciliation. There is time for cooperation and there is time for loyal opposition. Just as there has always been and always will be. But if we cannot separate this normal pushing and shoving of politics from dealing with a constitutional crises, then nobody is served well.
Here, without reference to the specifics of the current situation, are the issues – the clear and present danger.
1. DOMESTIC – We are a constitutional republic, not an unconstrained democracy. On one hand we cherish the idea than anyone can become president, but on the other hand they have to achieve this in a constitutionally sanctioned manner. It is also a fundamental aspect of The American Way that all such momentous decisions and elections are conducted in an open and auditable manner. There is no specific class of Americans who are uniquely assigned the role of “constitutional police”. It is the responsibility and duty of all of us to do this. Not just congress, not just government agencies, not just the courts, and not just the mainstream media. One of the essential purposes of the first amendment is so that a fee and open dialog is ongoing among all types of Americans everywhere. It is therefore not only important, but paramount, that no relevant raw data is withheld from the people. It amounts to censorship and the curtailment of free speech when we are denied data and open government processes. We must insist on our constitutional right to be fully informed. We cannot accept (in fact, we are duty bound to reject) any public office which is filled by secrecy and subterfuge.
2. FOREIGN – One of the facts of a constitution which guarantees transparent and open government, is that foreign powers can witness our government and our processes in-action. Whenever anything is veiled in secrecy (whether a military situation or a civilian situation), such foreigners can only assume that something suspicious is happening. While such secrecy is necessary in some circumstances, it is hardly ever warranted in civilian situations. This is especially damaging in situations where a process is constitutionally required to be open and has historically always been so. If we do not follow a process (especially one meant to protect us from internal corruption), outsiders looking in now discover a weakness and are given a strong hint how to exploit it. So we can only conclude that besides whatever negatives accrue directly and immediately from the break in process, we have poisoned the water for years to come. And more urgently, if specific information is being hidden during a current process that could affect the outcome, we have set up the winner (and all he represents – i.e. the whole country) for certain blackmail.
So, to come full circle to the instant circumstance, regardless of popular votes, regardless of “change we can believe in”, regardless of racial issues, regardless of economic and social agendas, Mr. Obama must go through the same process as every other presidential hopeful. He must be shown to be constitutionally eligible (burden of proof to rest on him, not the naysayers), and the relevant documentation made available to the public.
Irrespective of political affiliation we all need to insist on this and to agree to let the chips fall where they may. If Obama is determined eligible via this open process then all parties and all segments of society need to come together to work together to make the best possible good of his presidency. This will insure the best good for America, as a whole. And if he is not eligible, then we all need to get behind the constitutional provisions for remedying such a situation.
But above all – no more whining and no more accusations. This is not a personal issue with Obama. (Besides, the election is over – as of yesterday – and Obama is right now officially President Elect.) This is a constitutional issue in regards the whole of America and The American Way.
(And, yes, I realize our adversarial judicial system requires perpetrators and victims. I am not so much complaining about court cases, but the majority of postings by concerned and/or overwrought citizens.)

I recently read a posting on a website wherein the poster described a truth which to date I have not yet heard anyone talking about. The person who posted this could be exactly right.
After giving birth to BHO in Kenya, Stanley Anne D.Obama left Kenya to return to Hawaii with her newborn. Because there were no direct flights in those days she opted to use Sea Tac International Airport as a Port of Entry. Upon arriving there she filled out US Customs papers-INS Forms, upon which she provided the name of her infant(Barack Hussein Obama), and at the appropriate place on the form provided his birth place. (Kenya). It seems to me that recovering this document would provide everything that all of us have been looking for. It would be the Holy Grail, because it is signed by Obama’s own MOTHER. I think that if a certified copy of this data was put into the hands of Chief Justice Roberts there would be some definite action on the part of the SCOTUS. They could not ignore it and get away with it.
In adding to my first comment it would seem that somebody(preferrably a trained researcher of government archives) should jump on this quickly, because if the Obama GOON squad gets wind of the existence of such documents they will be history in a matter of minutes.
I’m a registered Republican and I couldn’t care if Obama is from Mars. We have too many other important issues facing us today. Whether Obama was born in the US or Timbuktoo we’re better off with his vision and level head than we are with anything else at this point. It’s time to stop crying that McCain and Palin weren’t elected and move on and get this country back on track. Judy Frank- Glad to hear that somebody is pursuing the INS records. If a certified copy of that should be placed in the hands of Chief Justice Roberts, he might have a little incentive to act,because the INS record will bear the signature of Obama’s own mother. Pretty hard to ignore that one.

When is the last time you knew of a politician ( actually not ALL of them – there might be one or two that are ) that was honest and transparent. Those are contradictions in terms when it comes to politics. There is no such thing anymore. As for whether Obama is level-headed or not and has the temperment for the job; I’d say he’s done – for the most part – a good job of choosing his cabinet and there seems to be agreement from both sides of the aisle on this as per the interviews and statements by both Dems and Reps.
