African Press International, Michelle Obama, Jerome Corsi confirms, Jeff Schreiber update, October 15, 2008, Michelle Obama tape, Michelle Obama racist remarks, Obama Indonesian

The African Press International blog published an article October 15, 2008 stating that Michelle Obama called them and said:
“African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,”

Here are exerpts from the article:

“Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API.
Posted by africanpress on October 15, 2008

Accusing API of colluding with American internet bloggers in an effort to bring down her husband, Mrs Obama said she decided to call API because of what she termed, API’s help to spread rumours created by American bloggers and other racist media outlets in their efforts to damage a black man’s name, saying she hopes African Media was mature enough to be in the front to give unwavering support to her husband, a man Africans should identify themselves with.

When API told her that our online news media was only relaying what the American Bloggers and other media outlets had discovered through their investigations, Mrs Obama was angered and she came out loud with the following: “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.””

“This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.”

“When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.

When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.”

African Press International has updated their article with the following:

“ADDED HERE BELOW DUE TO HUGE INTEREST ON THE ABOVE STORY. (TIME 16:08 Scandinavian time)

Verification of the story:
We have found it necessary to publish a telephone number that can be used to reach us should anyone doubt the story. We are doing this because of many requests by many people who want to know more about the story.

We are able to receive calls tomorrow the 16th of October through to the 18th October. We find it important that our readers get the truth and not be misled in any way. This is a true story and we stand by everyone written.

NB: For verification, we can be reached on 004793299739”
Jeff Schreiber has provided an update on the Michelle Obama tape:

“My source is Jerome Corsi, author of the bestselling book, The Obama Nation. Corsi, of course, was the journalist detained in and deported from Kenya just a short week ago, shortly before he was to conduct a press conference further detailing among other things the relationship between Barack Obama and Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Since hearing about the article released yesterday by African Press International, Corsi has been attempting to gain access to or even further information about materials which could verify the authenticity of the statements purported to come from Michelle Obama and subsequently denied by the Obama campaign.

“Given the e-mails I’m getting from the chief editor, he’s defending himself and I’m challenging him to produce the recording he says that he has,” Corsi said. “I don’t see any motive for him to lie. Still, I’m not accepting it as authentic without further investigation.”

Corsi went on to say that, “given the way he is defending it,” the report seems to be initially credible, and that “right now, my journalistic instincts say ‘okay, you’ve got my attention, and if you’re prepared to say it’s reliable, then prove it.'”

“I’m seriously interested, of course, but I need verification,” Corsi said. “I’m not buying this as a sure thing without verification.”

Corsi provided me with his e-mail exchange with the editors at African Press International as of 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This exchange, he said, will “validate that we’re in touch, and that they’re certainly under pressure to come forward.””

  1. Michelle Obama cannot deny the conversation with API.

If she does, it opens doors to questions about the allegations.

I will be very surprised if she actually makes a statement about the article.

  2. It’s funny how racists never understand when they’re being racist eh Michelle?

    The Obamanots are getting desperate.
A commenter named anon, with anon as the email address is quoting another biased blog as their source that the Michelle Obama comments are not true.
At Citizen Wells, we will wait for confirmation as to whether they are true or not. We will certainly not base our decision on lies from Obama based sites.

  5. It sounds like API is giving Michelle a chance to come clean with the Obama Campaign before they release the tapes.

Thank you for the information on what is going on. We appreciate. API will not be pressurised to email the recordings to individual media outlets. API was not aware that the receptients of our emails were actually forwarding them to other media outlets. We understand that the purpose of doing so is to pressure API to release the recordings. We will do so, but at our own timing, which is going to be soon, and yet as we say, we will be carefull on how we do it because we now realise that many people want to use the recording for purposes we did not intend, when we made the recordings.

Owing to the importance of the story – now that we have realised – API will do the needfull in a day or two. While doing so, we will seek not to hurt any one with the information we have.

The truth will come out soon and the Obama campaign spokesperson(s) will have a problem to deny that API actually had a telephone conversation with Mrs Obama. Mrs Obama should open up to the campaign spokesperson(s) now so that they do not continue denying what they do not know.

Soon, we will expose everything – information that we have, and that will make those who doubt us to retract their sentiments. The recordings will be released if need be in the long run. We did not imagine that there would be a huge interest in the story. Today we have received over 10000 emails and they are still coming. The comments are many and will be published. 9. C W: One might like to get word to API concerning the audio recording of M. Obama to make certain more than one website gets a copy of their file————REMEMBER how many websites have been hacked by the Obama groopies.

Would hate to have their site down.

Another good article about how the face of America will completely revamp with an Obama presidency.

As with much of what Obama utters, the details , the nuance and often chunks of information are obliterated.

“Change” is a word much like “space”. It does not connote parameters involving volume, speed, direction, impact , timing and most importantly those with whom it will be associated with. Either those that will generate it nor those that will receive it.

Clever, but Americans ultimately will be neither fooled nor coerced.

  11. Hey CW

Here is the latest from the API website:

The reaction to the following story Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API., necessitates that we inform our readers on the following:

    1. API had a telephone call from Mrs Obama after consultations with Nairobi. We will avail all the details and what transpired so that all interested parties may understand that the story is not fake.

    2. API has no interest in the outcome of the US elections and we do not partner with any group in the promotion of any candidate for the presidency.

    3. Our recordings will be released when we are satisfied it is not intended to be misused in any way or for any gains by an group.

Today, API has replied to some emails from different people who wanted to know more about the story and others who wanted to get the audio recording emailed. However, we were shocked to learn that the emails were published on different blogs – made public. Our replies to the emails were not intended for publication.

Although we are not hiding anything, we would like to release all the information in the right way in order to avoid misunderstandings that may put us into problems with the Obama’s. We do not want to land into legal disputes with anyone.

The Obama campaign spokesperson(s) should not be quick to dismis the story as false. They should wait until they get all the facts on the table before making any conclussions. They should not think they control all calls Mrs Obama makes.

The timing of the interview should not be faulted on

  12. I’ll bet the Obama kids are just waiting in the wings to strike down API’s site as soon as they post the audio file.

  13. cracks me up that they (nay-sayers) use SPELLING as proof this report is fake… I have my doubts on other levels, but wish MO would come out and say it… same with BO… that way EVERYBODY CAN TALK ABOUT IT… EVEN IF THIS IS A HOAX.. everybody is talking about the content… brilliant.

  14. Below is a quote from an API article written in December 2007. THIS COULD BE US! And, as a side note, after reading many articles from this site, I do notice that there are spelling/grammar issues.. SO WHAT? It’s accepted here, in our schools! Anyway, it is very obvious to me that they know very well, the explosive material they are making public. BO has p*$$ed somebody off in Kenya.

These comments reveal how the press needs to be nice to the new president Kibaki.

“”Only the State-run Kenya Broadcasting Corporation was allowed to cover the event after independent press was shut out. But there was more bad news coming for the media.

    Bad day for media

Soon after President Kibaki was sworn-in, the Government began flexing muscle, banning live TV coverage and with it a thinly veiled warning that it would crack down on any form of dissent.

ÒPursuant to Section 88 of the Kenya Communications Act, 1998, I am directed by the Minister for Internal Security, Hon John Michuki, that in the interest of public safety and tranquility, that I order the immediate suspension of all live broadcast until further notice,Ó a statement signed by Dr Bitange Ndemo, the Information and Communications PS, read.

The order directs all media houses and journalists in general to forthwith stop any broadcast it described as Òof inciting or alarming material and take responsibility for such broadcast in line with the lawÓ.

With the edict, the Government plunged the local media into a new dilemma at a critical time in the countryÕs history in which the press is expected to continue playing a vital role””

  15. http://www.lonelyconservative.com/2008/10/14/interview-with-the-plumber/

This interview brilliantly captures the American dream vs. Obama’s socialist chant of “spreading the wealth”.

Expect it on tonight’s debate. The Obama camp is sweating trying to once again cover it up.

  16. In my mind, the ONLY thing that needs to be proven, is that this article was PUBLISHED by Chief Editor Korir. Believe me, he knows very well the impact of this story.

If the story is FALSE, the fact that Korir published it speaks volumes about their feelings/relationship, regarding Obama.

If the story is TRUE, the fact that Korir published it speaks volumes about their feelings/relationship, regarding Obama.

Again, just the fact that Korir decided to publish this article, is monumental.

  17. Update from America’s Right:

A new entry at the African Press International Web site admonishes me for publishing the e-mail exchange between editor-in-chief Korir and WorldNetDaily’s Jerome Corsi. Let me be perfectly clear here:

I had express authorization from Jerome Corsi to make public the e-mail exchange in question.

“They know I’m a writer. They know what I do for a living,” Corsi said. “Anybody who corresponds with me in that capacity and does not specify that their correspondence is off-the-record knows that it is on-the-record. Their e-mail did not contain any such language, and it was treated accordingly.”

Let me get this straight — I am not out to mince words, fabricate facts, or slander anybody. In fact, even last night I questioned whether or not the initial article at African Press International was indeed a complete fraud, and therefore an example of African Press International’s decision to knowingly publish inaccurate information about, and fabricated statements falsely associated with, Michelle Obama. If anyone should be looking over their shoulder for a libel suit, it’s the folks at African Press International.

That is, unless they can provide evidence of the conversation which had purportedly taken place between their staff and the wife of a major–the major–American presidential candidate.

In the recent article, the editorial staff at African Press International maintains that they are indeed in possession of an audio recording, that it will “be released when we are satisfied it is not intended to be misused in any way or for any gains by an group,” and that the Barack Obama campaign should not be so quick to denounce the statements made by API as patently false.

“They should wait until they get all the facts on the table before making any conclussions [sic],” the article reads. “They should not think they control all calls Mrs. Obama makes.”

With this recent non-admission, I’m resigned to say that I was correct to begin with. This whole thing smelled like a complete fraud. While it may have succeeded in drawing more attention to the questions surrounding the Illinois senator and to Philip Berg’s lawsuit in particular, we should wash our hands of this matter unless audiotape or certified telephone log evidence is released.

As one of the readers here at America’s Right wrote, perfectly, to me in an e-mail: “It sounds like someone is trying to get me to buy a car and ship it to their second cousin in Nigeria.”

Agreed. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Corsi also agrees that, sans audiotape, the article at African Press International is not credible, stating that as far as he is concerned, until an audiotape or similar evidence is produced verifying the statements as Michelle Obama’s, the story is just that — a story.

“They write that they don’t want to release the tape for fear they will influence the election doesn’t add up,” Corsi said. “If that is the case, why’d they write the story in the first place?”

  18. The African Press better get the audio tape, if it exists, out NOW before their government quashes it!

  19. I found this on their website. The phone numbers are different. Maybe the editor has his own number.

Here is one of many posts which I posted a while back on the Obama Odinga Connection.

The admin at Hillary Clinton Forum was kind enough to give me free rein on this issue.

I still maintain Barack Obama showed poor judgment and may even have broken the law when he campaigned for Raila Odinga in Kenya.

And when the election results were contested, the incendiary comments Odinga made to his followers led to much suffering and bloodshed.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen Lend Me Your Ears

Mr. Korir at African Press International has a post on this. I knew he would.”

“Posted by africanpress on October 8, 2008

Heres another skeleton from Obamas closet: Raila Odinga. Obamas father was a member of the same Kenyan tribe (the Luo) as Odinga. Odinga is a socialist supporter of the Islamist opposition in Kenya and is behind much of the social unrest in that country.
Obama has visited Kenya during his time as a US Senator to support and campaign for Odinga.
Take the eight minutes to watch

which lays out the history, and do some googling on Obama and Odinga.
Now Ill be expecting the usual barrage of hate from the Left who simply dont want the truth to be known about their candidate, but thats ok, Im used to it. Messengers are accustomed to being shot at.
Edit: here is some more background:

Senator Barack Obama in Kenya > Obama and Odinga: The True Story “

  21. Entirely possible that tomorrow, Korir will say his site was hacked, BO-jacked, and he did not write the article, nor, the emails… welcome to the new world order.

  22. I agree with you mrje. I watching the debate and that SOB will probably get in the White House. Just as in Cuba, Fidel was going to do everything for the people. After he was elected, the next day he announced that they were under a dictatorship. You don’t realize what it is right until a tank comes down your street, soldiers come in and take everything you have of value. Also, move the rich people out of their homes and move the poor people into the rich people homes. I might as well go to Cuba. It won’t be any worse than what we are going to have in our New World Order.

  23. CW,

Please research. Obama gave two different answers for why he voted against the Illinois bill to protect children of botched abortions.

In a previous debate Obama said the he voted against the Illinois bill because it contradicted a bill being voted on at the federal level. Research showed that they had the exact same wording. In tonight’s debate he said he voted against the bill because it was a threat to Roe V. Wade.

He can’t keep his lies straight.
    .

  24. Brenda, Rest easy. Americans from all walks of life are more in tune with all this than you think . You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time…

  25. When viewing the results from the “undecided voters” during these debates, it strikes me how much “help” people want from the government – like they do not realize that the government funds come from their neighbors (?) in the form of TAXES.

Also, every time they say these people come up with undecided groups, the questions these folks ask like “I want to know how he will repair our image in the world”… or, “I want to know how he will help me with college tuition”…. aren’t these concerns strikingly left questions? Don’t you already have to be in the mindset that the government is supposed to take care of you?

I don’t think McCain’s remarks about cutting spending resonate with the average person. I don’t think many of these undecided voters comprehend that government already wastes BILLIONS of our tax dollars every year. I don’t think many people understand that the government is the largest employer in the USA – I think the # is 20% !!! and it never goes down.

We will be paying for these government employees retirement, medical expenses and other perks, for the rest of our lives!

Can you imagine the money the PEOPLE would have in their hands if the government was slashed in 1/2 ?

I get the eerie feeling that there is a whole new generation of American’s that have been indoctrinated in our schools to believe, that the government is supposed to take care of us, in most every way.

  26. if Obama was adopted and he had dual-citizenship will that disqualify him???/anyway with his mother being 18 when he was borm was she not required to stay in the states for 5 yrs. after his birth for Obama to become a citizen..since he had to be listed as African due to his father’s citizenship??or not????

  27. The “show stopper”:
    Obama was Indonesian.
Unless he pledged allegiance to the US, he still is Indonesian.
Obama has provided no copy of a pledge of allegiance.
    Obama is clearly ineligible.
Help Philip J Berg uphold the constitution.
    Thanks.

  28. McCain mentioned Joe the Plumber 20 times last night for a reason… Keep the story alive!

Joe the Plumber: Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?

Obama: It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got the chance at success too … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.

Obama seems to have told The Plumber he would raise taxes, distribute wealth (which is socialism) and Tax small Businesses…. That is how I read it!

  30. If these jerks really had the tape , Odinga would have burnt the place to the ground , with the writers still inside tied to their desk.

A Marxist political stunt, nothing else.

  31. This story doesn’t seem to be true, otherwise it would be taped. Michelle Obama is not stupid, she wouldn’t make a call to jeopardize her husband’s chances. Likely, it was a prankster who made the call, perhaps a Democrat to throw people off.

  32. I will wait for reliable verification.

  33. If this turns out to be true…thanks for your integrity API! I promise my donation won’t be far behind the release of the tape. I totally believe in karma.

  34. API says they are about to release the audio…time is 8:11 PM EST

  35. We’re giving these foreigners too much power over our election process… I totally dismiss the whole idea. Even if they produce a tape, BO has already prepped his followers that such a thing could come from those bad right wing nuts.

  36. what’s a bit inconvenient, is all of us weekend detectives have to spend our time trying to figure out all of this stuff that should have been:
    1. admitted openly by a candidate before starting
    2. vetted by the media (yeah, call me an idealist)
    3. recognized in context of the many outstanding issues.

Ok, so we get some tapes that Michelle did or did not say. Exactly — who will care? Their Chicago spin machine is on automatic, and all the MSM in the blur.

FOX doesn’t cover some things that I think they could investigate into more either.

Guess it’s still up to each of us to dig dig dig on our own, and share and reason, and hope one day groupthink and doublespeak will be things of the past, like 1984 should be.
