Christine Blasey Ford allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, Feelings vs facts, Zero credibility scenario, Republicans should grow gonads and end this farce

I wasn’t going to report this, but the logical conclusions are obvious.

The absurd, feelings based allegations by Christine Blasey Ford should be dismissed. The attempt by the zero credibility Washington Post, Democrat Party and quite frankly Ms. Ford to smear an honorable man.

Let’s begin with the obvious:

  • Ms. Ford was 15 and Mr. Kavanaugh was 17 at the time of the alleged incident.
  • Ms. Ford attended a party without parental supervision.
  • Ms. Ford stated they had both been drinking.
  • According to the Post, she states that she does not remember many key points of the incident. She did not recall how she got there. She does not state how much she drank before arriving.
  • There was no rape.
  • “she told no one at the time what had happened to her.” It seems odd that she told no one, not even a best friend.
  • “This is nothing, it didn’t happen, and he didn’t rape me.”
  • Perhaps she was traumatized. She was 15, drinking, at an unsupervised party. Perhaps she misinterpreted horseplay. Who knows.
  • Memories from events over 30 years ago are not reliable. As are memories “retrieved” under Psychoanalysis.
  • Ms. Ford is a Democrat, the party of the end justifies the means.

From the Washington Post.

“Earlier this summer, Christine Blasey Ford wrote a confidential letter to a senior Democratic lawmaker alleging that Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than three decades ago, when they were high school students in suburban Maryland. Since Wednesday, she has watched as that bare-bones version of her story became public without her name or her consent, drawing a blanket denial from Kavanaugh and roiling a nomination that just days ago seemed all but certain to succeed.

Now, Ford has decided that if her story is going to be told, she wants to be the one to tell it.

Speaking publicly for the first time, Ford said that one summer in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and a friend — both “stumbling drunk,” Ford alleges — corralled her into a bedroom during a gathering of teenagers at a house in Montgomery County.

While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.

“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”

Ford said she was able to escape when Kavanaugh’s friend and classmate at Georgetown Preparatory School, Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling. She said she ran from the room, briefly locked herself in a bathroom and then fled the house.

Ford said she told no one of the incident in any detail until 2012, when she was in couples therapy with her husband. The therapist’s notes, portions of which were provided by Ford and reviewed by The Washington Post, do not mention Kavanaugh’s name but say she reported that she was attacked by students “from an elitist boys’ school” who went on to become “highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington.” The notes say four boys were involved, a discrepancy Ford says was an error on the therapist’s part. Ford said there were four boys at the party but only two in the room. ”

“Christine Ford is a professor at Palo Alto University who teaches in a consortium with Stanford University, training graduate students in clinical psychology. Her work has been widely published in academic journals.

She contacted The Post through a tip line in early July, when it had become clear that Kavanaugh was on the shortlist of possible nominees to replace retiring justice Anthony M. Kennedy but before Trump announced his name publicly. A registered Democrat who has made small contributions to political organizations, she contacted her congresswoman, Democrat Anna G. Eshoo, around the same time. In late July, she sent a letter via Eshoo’s office to Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee.”

“After so many years, Ford said, she does not remember some key details of the incident. She said she believes it occurred in the summer of 1982, when she was 15, around the end of her sophomore year at the all-girls Holton-Arms School in Bethesda. Kavanaugh would have been 17 at the end of his junior year at Georgetown Prep.”

“Ford said she does not remember how the gathering came together the night of the incident. She said she often spent time in the summer at the Columbia Country Club pool in Chevy Chase, where in those pre-cellphone days, teenagers learned about gatherings via word of mouth. She also doesn’t recall who owned the house or how she got there.”

“She said she recalls a small family room where she and a handful of others drank beer together that night. She said that each person had one beer but that Kavanaugh and Judge had started drinking earlier and were heavily intoxicated.”

“She doesn’t remember whether Kavanaugh and Judge were behind her or already upstairs, but she remembers being pushed into a bedroom and then onto a bed.”

“She isn’t sure how she got home.”

““My biggest fear was, do I look like someone just attacked me?” she said. She said she recalled thinking: “I’m not ever telling anyone this. This is nothing, it didn’t happen, and he didn’t rape me.”

“Years later, after going through psychotherapy, Ford said, she came to understand the incident as a trauma with lasting impact on her life.”

She married her husband in 2002. Early in their relationship, she told him she had been a victim of physical abuse, he said. A decade later, he learned the details of that alleged abuse when the therapist asked her to tell the story, he said.”

I have an opinion of this woman that I will keep to myself.

However, she is a Democrat working in a university in California.

Nuff said.

NC Florence impact, Rain and flooding, Greensboro report, UNCG vs Guilford County school closings, Buffalo Creek real news

NC Florence impact, Rain and flooding, Greensboro report, UNCG vs Guilford County school closings, Buffalo Creek real news

” “Four-Letter Words, the Keys to Success: Home Work, Hard Work, Team Work, Good Luck, Good Lord, and a Good Idea.” Out of money in 1939, he dropped out of college and returned home to work in his brother Glenn’s store in Kannapolis, and later worked for Cannon Mills as an auditor. He volunteered for the army after the attack on Pearl Harbor, serving in North Africa and Italy from 1942 to 1945. Upon his return from the war, Mr. Ketner did everything possible to stay out of the grocery business, working nine jobs he didn’t like before ultimately returning to work for Glenn. When Glenn sold his chain of 25 stores to Winn-Dixie in 1956, Ralph and brother Brown worked briefly for that chain before starting Food Town with former co-worker, Wilson Smith, in 1957.”…Ralph Ketner, founder of Food Lion obituary

“What message are we sending to our young people when we treat them like snowflakes?”…Citizen Wells

First of all, the reports you are getting from eastern North and South Carolina, especially SE NC are real and it is bad with the flooding likely to get worse before better. The reason for that is the subsequent rain west that will increase the flow of water going east.

They need our prayers and support.

A friend of mine owns property on Oak Island and he does not know when he will be able to drive there due to the flooding and road closures.

In case you are wondering about the impact on areas west like Greensboro. I can answer that.

Perhaps you have heard about UNCG calling off classes beginning Wednesday at noon through today. That must have raised questions in your mind.

The Guilford County School System made a wise decision and let classes out at 2:00 PM on Thursday and delayed opening this morning for 2 hours.

I know Greensboro well.

It has no rivers, just the usual creeks.

Buffalo Creek, is the most famous and notorious for overflowing during heavy spring and summer showers.

But it impacts very few people.

Last week when UNCG called off classes prematurely, many of us were puzzled.

It appeared then as now to be a irresponsible decision.

UNCG is on high ground with a large support staff within and surrounding the school.

Here are some photos from late this morning.

The first a tributary or upstream portion of Buffalo Creek flooded sometime between 4:00 PM Saturday and this morning. It flooded much worse last year from a typical spring summer downpour.

This photo is Buffalo Creek at Elm Street. It is high but not overflowing as in the past.

Speaking of Buffalo Creek and fake news.

I grew up within walking distance of Buffalo Presbyterian Church, named for the creek which was named for the buffalo that roamed the area hundreds of years ago.

By “chance” I ran across the following article this morning.

From O’Henry Magazine September 2017.

“It might make a good argument to claim the mighty Buffalo was named for a shaggy creature who might have denuded those banks in a quest for a grazing paradise. Nice try, county historian James G. W. MacLamroc informed Greensborians in a ’72 News & Record Hot Line response asking about the creek’s namesake. His research indicated that Buffalo were rare around these parts when early settlers moved here in the mid-1700s, so it’s unlikely the beasts donated their name to the stream. More likely, whoever laid the name on the waterway just chose it because the mighty bison projects a strong American image for a creek, a robe or a nickel.”

http://www.ohenrymag.com/paradise-reclaimed/

Quoting a News Record source can be problematic.

From the “History of Guilford County.”

“Greensboro, Queen of Piedmont Carolina. Surrounded by beautiful, undulating fields covered with soft Japanese clover, buffalo grass and abundant wild flowers, she is called the “City of Flowers.” Once this section was prairie”

From “History of Buffalo Presbyterian church and her people, Greensboro, N. C”.

“The church was named from the creek near by, and was at
first called “North Buffaloe Creek Presbyterian Church.” The
creek was named Buffaloe because of the large herds of wild
buffaloes that formerly ranged along its borders. We do not
know when the name was first given to the creek. It is thus
called in the earliest deeds. It must have been called Buffalo
by the Indians before the white man came.”

From the Smoky Mountain News.

“John Henry Preston in Western North Carolina: A History (Asheville: Daughters of the American Revolution, 1914) notes that some of Hernando de Soto’s men exploring this area in 1540 were presented with a dressed buffalo skin by the Cherokees. This, Arthur speculates, was perhaps the first such skin “ever obtained by white men.” The Spaniards described it as “an ox hide as thin as a calf’s skin, and the hair like a soft wool between the coarse and fine wool of sheep.””

“While helping to run the dividing line between North Carolina and Virginia in 1729, Col. William Byrd of Virginia recorded several buffalo sightings in the Piedmont sections of those states. According to Hornaday, Byrd noted that a bull “was found all alone, tho Buffaloes Seldom are,” and “the meat is spoken of as ‘a Rarity.’””

https://smokymountainnews.com/news/item/2478-where-the-buffalo-roam

Buffalo Creek was named for the Buffalo that roamed the area and people have lived near it for thousands of years.

So, there you have it, real news.

Which leaves the question, why did UNCG cancel classes when kindergartners were attending school in the same city?

A snowflake protocol?

The very mention of a hurricane causing a panic and flight to a safe space?

“Mama don’t let your babies grow up to be snowflakes.”

Tyrants create false narratives and rely on apathy, Tyranny comes in many forms and increasingly in the actions of companies

Tyrants create false narratives and rely on apathy, Tyranny comes in many forms and increasingly in the actions of companies

“A large company I have been dealing with has created a false narrative and has been promoting it as truth in Orwellian/Goebbels fashion.”…Citizen Wells

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”…Matthew 7:15

“We are being lied to on a scale unimaginable by George Orwell.”…Citizen Wells

I am witnessing and experiencing the increase of tyranny by companies in the US.

From Zero Hedge.

“How People Become Easily Controlled By Tyrants”

“The question often arises in liberty movement circles as to how we get to the point of full blown tyranny within a society.  There are numerous factors that determine this outcome, but through all the various totalitarian systems in history there are common denominators – elements that must be there for tyrants to prevail.  When we can identify these common elements in an objective manner, we make it far more difficult for despotic structures to stand.”

“Tyrants exploit the masses more easily when people assume that corrupt political and social leaders are working for “their side” against the “other side.”  Often these leaders can be bought or threatened into subservience.  Tyrants then use them to drive the spectrum to the furthest opposites, until both sides adopt an attitude of zealotry.

This happens not only in politics, but in geopolitics, as entire nations are driven to war with each other by puppet presidents and governments over engineered conflicts that only ever benefit the cabal of tyrants behind the curtain.”

“Tyrants build false narratives.  This is what they do best.  They encourage people to unknowingly become villains, or they accuse innocent groups of villainy in order to sow division.  They need all sides to see everyone else either as an ally or an enemy.  There is no in-between.  If a person does not conform to the views of the zealot, then he must be immediately treated as a threat.  This causes an endless echo chamber which destroys all dissent or disagreement, no matter how rational.

Zealots operate primarily on fear, making them easy prey for tyrants.  And as some nerd somewhere once said, “Fear is the mind killer; fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.”

Apathy And False Hope

More than anything else, tyrants desire an apathetic population.  Apathy breeds complacency and inaction, and it also encourages delusional thinking.  Apathetic people tend towards the philosophy of pacifism as a means to vindicate their own behavior, but this is merely a mask designed to hide their fear.  They might fear suffering, they might fear loss, they might fear failure, but they certainly have fear, and it stops them from standing in the way of developments that they know are evil in nature and that require an aggressive response.

Apathy can also be bred into a society through the use of false hopes.  Tyrants conjure scenarios in which the public is made to believe positive “change” is about to take place, usually through politics.  But, there will be no change for the better beyond the cosmetic.  Things only get worse.  In this process of conditioning, tyrants raise up the hopes of the masses, and then dash them to the ground over and over, until the public gives up.

The problem is not that things cannot change for the better, but that the public keeps playing by the rules of a game fabricated by the very people that are causing their misery.  Stepping outside the constraints of that game requires us to take matters into our own hands rather than waiting around for others to make changes for us.  It requires risk.  If the farce of tyranny is to ever end, all awake and aware people will have to take many risks.

I have heard it argued that tyranny is a natural and inevitable product of human society.  That tyrants cannot be avoided, that they will always exist and any attempt to remove them will result in them only being replaced with other tyrants.  This is the pinnacle of the pathetic mindset.  It is the dark void of nihilism.

One could also argue that there is no point to washing ourselves because we are just going to get dirty again tomorrow.  But these people would eventually die of disease.  If tyranny is a human constant, then rebellion must also be a human constant, otherwise, humanity dies or is turned into something unrecognizable.”

Toy poodle saves owner from 200 pound bear, Pickle 5lb poodle, Bear charged in Black Mountain home, Poodle sacrificed life

Toy poodle saves owner from 200 pound bear, Pickle 5lb poodle, Bear charged in Black Mountain home, Poodle sacrificed life

“Animals have come to mean so much in our lives. We live in a fragmented and disconnected culture. Politics are ugly, religion is struggling, technology is stressful, and the economy is unfortunate. What’s one thing that we have in our lives that we can depend on? A dog or a cat loving us unconditionally, every day, very faithfully.”…Jon Katz

Dog is God spelled backwards.

From the Greensboro News Record.

“A 5-pound toy poodle named Pickle is being called a hero after jumping between its owner and a bear inside a North Carolina home Friday morning, according to TV station WLOS.

However, Pickle died as a result of his bravery, owner Tiffany Merrill said in a Facebook update. She told WNCN that the bear likely weighed 150 to 200 pounds and showed no fear of humans once it was inside her Black Mountain home.

“There was nothing I could do,” Merrill told WLOS. “I wanted to go out there and jump on the back of the bear and save my dog.”

The ordeal began just before 6 a.m. Friday, when she opened a door to let the dog out, Merrill wrote on Facebook.

“A bear come … in my house, my dog jumped in front of me to save my life,” she said in a series of posts. “The bear was right in my face…It jumped (on) my couch to try and get me.”

Merrill said she immediately began screaming for her children to close their doors, so the bear could not get into their rooms. “I thought I was going to die,” she said on Facebook.

Pickle saved her by first barking to distract the bear and then chasing it out of the house, she told WNCN.

However, once outside, the dog proved no match for the bear, she said. She says her 19-year-old son got the dog away from the bear, but it was too late.

Merrill rushed Pickle to an animal hospital for surgery, but the dog was too badly wounded, she said on Facebook. “My hero died saving me from a bear,” she wrote. “We lost a big part of our family.””

Oleg Deripaska “colluded” with Obama Justice Dept. not Trump, 2009 to 2016, Robert Mueller was running the FBI, Trump’s alleged “back channel” to Putin was in fact an FBI asset

“Why was Tony West, who helped Obama keep his records hidden at taxpayer expense, promoted to Acting Associate Attorney General, the third highest official at the Justice Department?”…Citizen Wells

“People need to understand that the Democrat Party today is not the Democrat Party of John F. Kennedy. From Zero Hedge.

“Russian Oligarch And Putin Pal Admits To Collusion, Secret Meetings

Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska, a close associate of Vladimir Putin, has gone on record with The Hill‘s John Solomon – admitting to colluding with Americans leading up to the 2016 US election, except it might not be what you’re thinking.

Deripaska, rumored to be Donald Trump’s “back channel” to Putin via the Russian’s former association with Paul Manafort, says he “colluded” with the US Government between 2009 and 2016.

In 2009, when Robert Mueller was running the FBI, the agency asked Deripaska to spend $25 million of his own money to bankroll an FBI-supervised operation to rescue a retired FBI agent – Robert Levinson, who was kidnapped in 2007 while working on a 2007 CIA contract in Iran. This in and of itself is more than a bit strange.

Deripaska agreed, however the Obama State Department, headed by Hillary Clinton, scuttled a last-minute deal with Iran before Levinson could be released. He hasn’t been heard from since.

FBI agents courted Deripaska in 2009 in a series of secret hotel meetings in Paris; Vienna; Budapest, Hungary, and Washington. Agents persuaded the aluminum industry magnate to underwrite the mission. The Russian billionaire insisted the operation neither involve nor harm his homeland. -The Hill

In other words – Trump’s alleged “back channel” to Putin was in fact an FBI asset who spent $25 million helping Obama’s “scandal free” administration find a kidnapped agent. Deripaska’s admitted ”

“As the New York Times frames it, distancing Deripaska from the FBI (no mention of the $25 million rescue effort, for example), the Russian aluminum magnate was just one of several Putin-linked Oligarchs the FBI tried to flip.”
