9.4 million more Americans below poverty line since economic crisis, 132K fewer white Americans employed in 2015, This is recovery?, White labor force participation rate down .6 percent since Jan, More job lies coming Friday, “1984”

“In December 2014 there were 18 million immigrants (legal and illegal) living in the country who had arrived since January 2000. But job growth over this period was just 9.3 million — half of new immigration.”…Center for Immigration Studies February 2015

“There’s no other way to say this. The official unemployment rate, which cruelly overlooks the suffering of the long-term and often permanently unemployed as well as the depressingly underemployed, amounts to a Big Lie.”…Gallup CEO Jim Clifton

“We are being lied to on a scale unimaginable by George Orwell.”…Citizen Wells

Citizen Wells began warning you in 2008 that we were entering the age of Big Brother and “1984.”

The jobs report will come out this Friday and it is assured that it will contain more Orwellian reports of job gains.

Citizen Wells has been reporting on the more realistic number, the number of people employed and how it has fluctuated since Obama took office in January 2009. Especially the number of white Americans employed. You know, what was approx. two thirds of the US population.

You are aware from the reports here that the employment situation is horrible.

You also have awareness from paying attention and observing the impact on your family and those around you.

I know that I have.

The food banks that see record numbers of recipients and are constantly seeking more food.

The people who cannot find work or are working multiple part time jobs.

The record number of young people living with family members,

From Zero Hedge September 27, 2015.

“What Recovery? 9.4 Million More Americans Below Poverty Line Than Pre-Crisis

According to Janet Yellen, we are still on pace to raise rates in 2015. While the rate hike was supposed to happen this month, it got derailed by the August market selloff, volatility in China, lackluster work force numbers, and a variety of other factors.

Despite the Fed continuing to kick this down the road, they continue to claim that we are in the middle of an ongoing recovery. There’s just one problem with that: things are getting worse than pre-crisis levels for millions of the poorest Americans.”

“It’s true that the wealthiest 10% of Americans have finally seen their household incomes rise above the levels last seen in 2007. It’s also true that median incomes have “recovered” from the worst of the 2008 disaster. Median earners were -8.1% worse off in 2011, and now they are only -6.5% worse off according to most recent data for 2014 released by the U.S. Census Bureau last week.

However, when we look at the lowest 10% of income earners, the situation is much more precarious. In 2011, the bottom 10% of households were -9.0% worse off in terms of income than they were pre-crisis. Since then, it hasn’t gotten any better: they now are making -11.6% less income than they were in 2007.

Possibly even more concerning is the fact that the amount of Americans living below the poverty line has soared since 2007. There are now 9.4 million more people that can claim to be a part of this unfortunate group, and the total contingent living below the poverty line now makes up 14.8% of all Americans. This is also an increase from the 12.5% figure from before the Great Recession.”

“There was an increase in 23,000 white American employment in August.
However, white employment is down 132,000 since January!!!

***  Update 9:10 AM  ***

Almost 1.5 million more white Americans dropped out of labor force since Jan.

White employment to population ratio down .3 percent since Jan.

White labor force participation rate down .6 percent since Jan.

Regardless of the unemployment rate and jobs data provided by the US Labor Department this morning, September 4, 2015, the real employment situation can also be found in their data.

White employment.

Hispanic employment.

  1. “But actually, he thought as he re-adjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material that you were dealing with had no connexion with anything in the real world, not even the kind of connexion that is contained in a direct lie. Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. A great deal of the time you were expected to make them up out of your head. For example, the Ministry of Plenty’s forecast had estimated the output of boots for the quarter at one-hundred-and-forty-five million pairs. The actual output was given as sixty-two millions. Winston, however, in rewriting the forecast, marked the figure down to fifty-seven millions, so as to allow for the usual claim that the quota had been overfulfilled. In any case, sixty-two millions was no nearer the truth than fifty-seven millions, or than one-hundred-and-forty-five millions. Very likely no boots had been produced at all. Likelier still, nobody knew how many had been produced, much less cared. All one knew was that every quarter astronomical numbers of boots were produced on paper, while perhaps half the population of Oceania went barefoot. And so it was with every class of recorded fact, great or small. Everything faded away into a shadow-world in which, finally, even the date of the year had become uncertain.”…George Orwell “1984″

  2. AND NOW……
………..Soetoro has just said that LIES are NOT TRUTH……..NO $HIT DICK TRACY!.YOU TELL EM SOETORO! You are probably the the best person to say that. You have plenty of experience telling LIES, so it takes a liar to recognize another.

  3. OLDSAILOR83…..

did you go read the post I made at 2:04pm on 26 Sept?

Please take the time to Read this wonderful story and Share it with someone you love and the friends you cherish!

To All My Good Friends Here On Citizenwells:

    Red Marbles!…

I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes. I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily appraising a basket of freshly picked green peas.

I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes.

Pondering the peas, I couldn’t help overhearing the conversation between Mr.. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

‘Hello Barry, how are you today?’
‘H’lo, Mr. Miller. Fine, thank ya. Jus’ admirin’ them peas. They sure look good..’
‘They are good, Barry.. How’s your Ma?’

    ‘Fine. Gittin’ stronger alla’ time.’
‘Good. Anything I can help you with?’

    ‘No, Sir.
    Jus’ admirin’ them peas.’
‘Would you like to take some home?’ asked Mr. Miller.

‘No, Sir. Got nuthin’ to pay for ’em with.’
‘Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?’
‘All I got’s my prize marble here.’

‘Is that right? Let me see it’ said Miller.

    ‘Here ’tis. She’s a dandy.’
‘I can see that. Hmm mmm, only thing is this one is blue and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this at home?’ the store owner asked..
    ‘Not zackley but almost.’
‘Tell you what. Take this sack of peas home with you and next trip this way let me look at that red marble’. Mr. Miller told the boy.
    ‘Sure will. Thanks Mr. Miller.’

Mrs… Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to help me.
With a smile she said, ‘There are two other boys like him in our community, all three are in very poor circumstances.. Jim just loves to bargain with them for peas, apples, tomatoes, or whatever..

When they come back with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he doesn’t like red after all and he sends them home with a bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, when they come on their next trip to the store.’

I left the store smiling to myself, impressed with this man. A short time later I moved to Colorado , but I never forgot the story of this man, the boys, and their bartering for marbles.

Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous one. Just recently I had occasion to visit some old friends in that Idaho community and while I was there learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his visitation that evening and knowing my friends wanted to go, I agreed to accompany them. Upon arrival at the mortuary we fell into line to meet the relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of comfort we could.

Ahead of us in line were three young men. One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice haircuts, dark suits and white shirts…all very professional looking. They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling by her husband’s casket.

Each of the young men hugged her, kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved on to the casket. Her misty light blue eyes followed them as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket. Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes…

Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was and reminded her of the story from those many years ago and what she had told me about her husband’s bartering for marbles. With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to the casket.

‘Those three young men who just left were the boys I told you about.
They just told me how they appreciated the things Jim ‘traded’ them. Now, at last, when Jim could not change his mind about color or size…..they came to pay their debt.’

‘We’ve never had a great deal of the wealth of this world,’ she confided, ‘but right now, Jim would consider himself the richest man in Idaho ..’

With loving gentleness she lifted the lifeless fingers of her deceased husband. Resting underneath were three exquisitely shined red marbles.

The Moral of this story :
We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath.

Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles:

A fresh pot of coffee you didn’t make yourself…
An unexpected phone call from an old friend …..
Green stoplights on your way to work…
The fastest line at the grocery store…
    A good sing-along song on the radio…
Your keys found right where you left them.

Share this with the people you’ll never forget.

    I have just done that…

So In the End my Friends:……

Have a good day my friend

  5. In the meantime Michelle takes Air Force 1 and a host of security to go visit Beyonce on taxpayers’ dime.

    AND NOW……..
……….the Pope has stated EMPHATICALLY that government workers HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO ISSUE MARRIAGE LICENSES to QUEERS. Now when Kim Davis goes to jail again all she needs to do is reference the statement of the Pope, and she will then have the power to challenge the judge (UNCONSTITUTIONAL ARREST, and IMPRISONMENT) which should be good for a couple of million dollars in civil action against the Federal judge, and she does have standing she was injured. GO GET EM KIM…….. SOAK THE BASTARDS FOR EVERY BUCK YOU CAN SQUEEZE OUT OF THEM. This will also FORCE THE supremes review their slimey view points. Get yourself a lawyer who is not afraid to HICCUP……..then yell “SIC EM SIR”.

  7. oldsoldier79…….
………..yes read your post. Everyone has different viewpoints, and perhaps to a certain extent, see and feel things a little differently. Perhaps this is a result of spiritual conditioning earlier in our lives. Whatever the case may be, you are right on the money. In my own case the pain inside of me persisted. I had spent a couple of weeks at a grief mitigation center. That helped but only marginal. I buried myself in doing stuff at the plant. Sometimes I spent the night sleeping there. I did however get a lot done. I built a lunchroom, and furnished it with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a conference room size table. At that time I still had 11 employees. They appreciated the lunchroom. Made me feel great when they thanked me. It was something that my wife had said I should do while she was alive. I even tried my hand at selling for a few weeks. I hated it! Fortunately I still had a real closer on the road. He earned some big bucks under our commission agreement. Our DOD contract didn’t return the kind of money which we was equipped to earn, so we went into the newspaper flyers big time. These are advertising pages for specific products. We done well doing this sort of printing……very high volume!……..a tenth of a cent in costing makes a very big difference in earnings.
I have never forgotten Gloria, and I go to the cemetery on Memorial day, and sometimes more often. My eldest son is now in his early 60s.he too said we can’t change the past, but we can control our future. Had it not been for him I don’t know what I would have done. You have my email addy send me a test page,

  8. ……………………………………Just A Dog…………………………………….

From time to time people tell me, “Lighten up, it’s just a dog,” or “That’s a lot of money for just a dog.”

They don’t understand the distance traveled, time spent, or costs involved for “Just a dog.” Some of my proudest moments have come about with “Just a dog.” Many hours have passed with my only company being “Just a dog”, and not once have I felt slighted.

Some of my saddest moments were brought about by “Just a dog.” In those days of darkness, the gentle touch of “Just a dog” provided comfort and purpose to overcome the day.

If you, too, think it’s “Just a dog,” you will probably understand phrases like “just a friend,” “just a sunrise,” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy.

“Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that makes me a better person. Because of “Just a dog” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future.

For me, and folks like me, it’s not “Just a dog.” It’s an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what’s good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day.

I hope that someday people can understand it’s not “Just the dog.” It’s the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “Just a man” or “Just a woman.”

So the next time you hear the phrase “Just a dog,” smile, because they honestly…….“just don’t understand.”

    -Author Unknown

Anyone who has established a friendship and love with “Just a Dog” will understand this….and anyone who hasn’t…it doesn’t really matter.

  9. ………………………………………LISTEN and HEED…………………………………..

I have a very simple, but workable solution for $hit like this:

Castrate all Muslim boy infants at birth….then Mohammed will soon be “out of business” and the world will be a much safer place for everyone.

Sooner or later, ‘;the piper must be paid for his song’.

  11. oldsailor83…..my friend
I just read your response…it was a good write with deep heart felt meaning to it….

As your wise son said, “you can’t relive the past, but you can control the future”….and that’s exactly what you and I are doing right now…..

We have both become better and wiser men from our sufferings….

and yes, I will email you soon…..

  12. Oldsoldier79@4:14 p.m. — what a beautiful story, and I can definitely relate. But in my case, it’s “just a bird”. I have a beautiful Bourke’s parrot who’s been there for me when no one else could be bothered to give me the time of day. When his time here on Earth is up, I really do think that’ll be the end of me. If anyone ever tells me he’s “just a bird”, that person will no longer be on my list of people to be polite to.

Btw, the Irish coffee was pretty good. Typing came out looking weird, though. 😀

  13. hahahahaha….AFB…..

Hang in there gal, your a real trooper ! …. you will soon grow to love that stuff as much as I do !!!!!

Every day if my life, I make it my ‘first mission of the day’ to consume no less than two cups of coffee with that ‘special’ heavy duty creamer……more than two cups on some days…(hehe)

And yes you are correct…… our animals seem to become a big part of our family. My two dogs and one cat will never be “just another animal”…they are, and will always be family members.

This is a pic of my cat “Winston”…isn’t he a regal looking fellow?

This is my little dog “Rascal”, he’s a Powerpuff Chinese Crested, and you can believe he sure does live up to his name and reputation ! But I love this little fellow !

My other dog, Reilly, is an English Poolt Hound and she is the sweetest thing walking around on four legs….she is now over 12 years old….her time is near. She knows that and so do I……parting will be hard.

  14. AFB…

sorry the pics didn’t come out…I will try to find a way to post them later…..

  15. AFB…..

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this little fellow ?

  16. Oldsoldier79 — Awwwww, he’s just precious! Look at that grin on his face! 🙂

  17. Oops — forgot to rate him. On the 1-10 cuteness scale, he’s about a 12!

  18. This is “Rascal”…he has his ‘game shirt’ on for tonight ! GO PACK !

This is “Winston”…doesn’t he look like royalty ?

  19. sorry again…guess I will have to give up…I tried.

  20. Comparing usurper whoppers, and most Pinocchio,s earned.

“According to Investors Business Daily, “since 2008, average family premiums have climbed a total of $4,865.”

For those of you mathematically challenged, the difference between going down $2,500 and going up is $4,865 is $7,365. Not what I’d call a “rounding error.” ”

  21. Oldsoldier79……..
……….You are right when you say that our little pooches become members of our families….I have a little gal, and a little guy. My little gal is a BICHON FRISE terrier, and the little guy is a really laid back Havanese Terrier. Both are under twenty lbs, each. I dearly love both of them. My little girl has me wrapped around her little paw………when she wants a treat she sits up and begs……….and I just melt down, and get her a treat, No human could resist such an act………..she definitely knows how to push my buttons.

  22. Admiral: Obama Conspired With America’s Enemies to Kidnap Chris Stevens

Trey Gowdy deserves a huge THANK YOU from the whole nation for his relentless work on the Benghazi Scandal, and now he has help. Conservatives have set up a site to assist with data collection etc. I’ve said from the very first time I heard about the Benghazi deaths, that THIS will be what Obama EVENTUALLY gets locked up for, or flees the country in shame from… but only AFTER ALL the dust FINALLY settles.

Right behind Trey has been a Four Star Admiral with knowledge of the awful night. From the beginning the FOUR STAR ADMIRAL Has Said: “Obama Conspired With the Enemy!” Who do you believe? A Four Star Admiral or the guy who won LIAR OF THE YEAR? In fact, I’ll give you one guess who was just caught withholding evidence from Benghazi (again)? Who do you think it was? The Four Star Admiral who will not let it rest that Obama conspired with the enemy to have Chris Stevens killed OOOOOORRRR…. the guy who occupies 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and would not know the truth if it bit him?

After all, if he told the truth, Obama or maybe Hillary would have to explain what 400 missiles were doing at our EMBACY? Needless to say, I would not expect much truth from His Highness’s Ass any time soon.

Kate Hopkins, an English citizen, suggests that we create “euthanasia vans” that drives door-to-door and kills off the elderly.

“We just have far too many old people,” the feminist says. “It’s ridiculous to be living in a country where we can put dogs to sleep but not people.”

According to Hopkins, this can be carried out stylistically, you know, with a flair.

“Euthanasia vans — just like ice-cream vans — that would come to your home,” Hopkins says “It would all be perfectly charming. They might even have a nice little tune they’d play. I mean this genuinely. I’m super-keen on euthanasia vans. We need to accept that just because medical advances mean we can live longer, it’s not necessarily the right thing to do.”

Well I have a few words for Ms Hopkins and her insane liberal ideas that she is pushing in England…..

First Ms. Hopkins, it’s a good thing you live in that wacky country that loves and supports those radical Muslim terrorist because if you lived in America and tried to push your stupidity ideas off on the old people here ( including me ), I’m afraid you would already have a ” size 12 combat boot up your a*s” so far it would require surgery to extract, and and your throat would be ripped out for trying to play God.

Next if I lived in England you did, by chance, get your wacky politicians to buy that crap and they drove their ‘lollipop wagon’ to my door, they better come with a battalion of the Irish Guard because I would certainly be “doing a little non-voluntary euthanasia stuff myself’…after all, turn about is fair play in that game of life….

Finally, I would also like to say…I would certainly hope it would be you, who was driving your stupid lollipop van that would be playing over and over, “it’s a beautiful world” like a broken record…because you would be the first person in the cross hairs of my sights mounted on my automatic rifle……think about that before you fill your van up with gas for that trip…..

And like Dirty Harry, I want you to try and remember, ‘Did he fire 29 bullets or did he fire 30″……and will this be “your lucky day punk”.

Then after I run out of bullets, with my permission, you may pry my weapon from my still warm hands…..if I am not dead by then, you may do your duty and euthanasia me….because I will have done ‘my duty’ and sent some of your wacko friends to their happy hunting ground before you got to me.

Seriously Hopkins, do you really believe you can sale this crap to someone who has served his/or her country protecting As6holes like you, and just because he/or she was lucky enough to have survive and reach a ripe old age….do you really think they will just lay down and ‘drink your kool-aid’ ….how absurd of you to even make such a stupid suggestion.

This is not the twenty-fifth century and you do not get to play God as was portrayed by Charlton Heston in ‘Soylent Green’.

I have a better suggestion that yours……I will go along with your ‘lollipop van, suggestion and maybe even buy the music is a pretty good idea if we can play the song that opened to the movie “Apocalypse Now” (you know, the one where Robert Duvall had his armed helicopters zeroing in on the Viet Cong village and his loud speakers on his command bird are going full blast playing an opera selection by Wagner…yes that’s the one- the one where all hell breaks loose and bodies are flying in all directions),

But let’s be absolutely clear Ms. Hopkins, we would only send that party van looking for people like you, regardless of their age, race, color, religion, or political party !!!!

Get the drift now ? If not , let me just say, …”OLD LIVES MATTER”

“Admiral: Obama Conspired With America’s Enemies to Kidnap Chris Stevens

Isn’t this exactly what everyone here at Citizenwells has been saying since day one ?

this just confirms the truth of the matter…..
