Obamacare political power buying votes and redistribution of wealth, Tax and control, Monterey County CA example, Enabling subsizdizing and expanding the Left’s political power base

I began referring to Obamacare as a tax and control bill early in 2010.

It is much more than that, aside from it’s wide spread impact on our healthcare system and economy.

It is, of course, a way for the left to expand their voter and control base.

The following was sent to me in an email.

What ObamaCare is Really About!
I’m a 54 year old consulting engineer and make between $60,000 and $125,000 per year, depending on how hard I work and whether or not there are work projects out there for me.
My girlfriend is 61 and makes about $18,000 per year, working as a part-time mail clerk.
For me, making $60,000 a year, under ObamaCare, the cheapest, lowest grade policy I can buy, which also happens to impose a $5,000 deductible, costs $482 per month.
For my girlfriend, the same exact policy, same deductible, costs $1 per month. That’s right, $1 per month. I’m not making this up.
Don’t believe me? Just go to www.coveredca.gov , the ObamaCare website for California and enter the parameters I’ve mentioned above and see for yourself. By the way, my zip code is 93940. You’ll need to enter that.
So OK, clearly ObamaCare is a scheme that involves putting the cost burden of healthcare onto the middle and upper-income wage earners. But there’s a lot more to it. Stick with me.
And before I make my next points, I’d like you to think about something:
I live in Monterey County, in Central California. We have a large land mass but just 426,000 residents – about the population of Colorado Springs or the city of Omaha.
But we do have a large Hispanic population, including a large number of illegal aliens, and to serve this group we have Natividad Medical Center, a massive, Federally subsidized county medical complex that takes up an area about one-third the size of the Chrysler Corporation automobile assembly plant in Belvedere, Illinois (see Google Earth View). Natividad has state-of-the-art operating rooms, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, fully equipped, 24 hour emergency room, and much more. If you have no insurance, if you’ve been in a drive-by shooting or have overdosed on crack cocaine, this is where you go. And it’s essentially free, because almost everyone who ends up in the ER is uninsured.
Last year, 2,735 babies were born at Natividad. 32% of these were born to out-of-wedlock teenage mothers, 93% of which were Hispanic. Less than 20% could demonstrate proof of citizenship, and 71% listed their native language as Spanish. Of these 876 births, only 40 were covered under [any kind of] private health insurance. The taxpayers paid for the other 836. And in case you were wondering about the entire population – all 2,735 births – less than 24% involved insured coverage or even partial payment on behalf of the patient to the hospital in exchange for services. Keep this in mind as we move forward.
Now consider this:
If I want to upgrade my policy to a low-deductible premium policy, such as what I had with my last employer, my cost is $886 per month. But my girlfriend can upgrade her policy to the very same level, for just $4 per month. That’s right, $4 per month. $48 per year for a zero-deductible, premium healthcare policy – the kind of thing you get when you work at IBM (except of course, IBM employees pay an average of $170 per month out of pocket for their coverage).
I mean, it’s bad enough that I will be forced to subsidize the ObamaCare scheme in the first place. But even if I agreed with the basic scheme, which of course I do not, I would never agree to subsidize premium policies. If I have to pay $482 a month for a budget policy, I sure as hell do not want the guy I’m subsidizing to get a better policy, for less that 1% of what I have to fork out each month for a low-end policy.
Why must I pay $482 per month for something the other guy gets for a dollar? And why should the other guy get to buy an $886 policy for $4 a month? Think about this: I have to pay $10,632 a year for the same thing that the other guy can get for $48. $10,000 of net income is 60 days of full time work as an engineer. $48 is something I could could pay for collecting aluminum cans and plastic bottles, one day a month.
Are you with me on this? Are you starting to get an idea what ObamaCare is really about?
ObamaCare is not about dealing with inequities in the healthcare system. That’s just the cover story. The real story is that it is a massive, political power grab. Do you think anyone who can insure himself with a premium policy for $4 a month will vote for anyone but the political party that provides him such a deal? ObamaCare is about enabling, subsidizing, and expanding the Left’s political power base, at taxpayer expense. Why would I vote for anyone but a Democrat if I can have babies for $4 a month? For that matter, why would I go to college or strive for a better job or income if it means I have to pay real money for healthcare coverage? Heck, why study engineering when I can be a schlub for $20K per year and buy a new F-150 with all the money I’m saving?
And think about those $4-a-month babies – think in terms of propagation models. Think of just how many babies will be born to irresponsible, under-educated mothers. Will we get a new crop of brain surgeons and particle physicists from the dollar baby club, or will we need more cops, criminal courts and prisons? One thing you can be certain of: At $4 a month, they’ll multiply, and multiply, and multiply. And not one of them will vote Republican.
ObamaCare: It’s all about political power, buying votes, and the redistribution of wealth (Marxism).
The earliest reference that I found on an internet search was here:
Regardless of the source, the information rings true.

“Considering the enormous value of the information he has revealed, and the abuses he has exposed, Mr. Snowden deserves better than a life of permanent exile, fear and flight. He may have committed a crime to do so, but he has done his country a great service. It is time for the United States to offer Mr. Snowden a plea bargain or some form of clemency that would allow him to return home, face at least substantially reduced punishment in light of his role as a whistle-blower, and have the hope of a life advocating for greater privacy and far stronger oversight of the runaway intelligence community.”

“The now ubiquitous prior upward revision helped headlines crow of ‘another’ decline in initial jobless claims this week. Initial claims beat expectation of 344k with a 339k print, whis is now a drop from a previously reported 338k that is now revised up to 341k… all makes sense, right? It seems claims have stabilized somewhat after the few weeks of glitches and shutdown SNAFUs and the downtrend appears to have stalled as these levels of claims are at the same level as 5 months ago. Bear in mind this is the last print for 2013 (not first print of 2014 data) and with 1,391,297 people on Emergency benefits due to start ‘tapering’ this week, we can only imagine the ‘glitches’ that will occur going forward.”

  9. Good morning CW et. al,

Yes CW, I seen where the plane actually had a long water wake drift tail behind it, meaning it was afloat for quite some time as the tides pushed it inland and very close to shore.

  10. OldSailor,

You slept the whole year of 2013 -to-2014? Wow!!!
Have you ever had sex for an entire year? LOL… 🙂

I’m sure you have as that’s an old one as well.

  11. Does anyone have predictions for 2014?

Mine is that Lt. Zullo and the MCCSO will expose Obama. What the media and politicians do with that damaging information after that will be critical towards the 2014 Elections turnout.

  14. SO PREDICTABLE: Health Care Cost Rise and Employer Drops Coverage

Posted on December 30, 2013 by Duane Lester at Breitbart
The article at Breitbart focuses on the fact that auto workers are turning against Obamacare. What I found interesting was this paragraph:

“Under Obamacare, the workers’ employer faced a 50% increase in costs to keep worker plans at the same benefit and deductible levels. To remain economically viable, the dealership decided to give each worker an extra $2,400 and let them find plans on their own.”

The goal for the Democrats never was to use ObamaCare to insure the uninsured.

It was to get the donkey’s nose under the tent flap, meaning once ObamaCare was passed, the left could gradually build upon its failures until they have the program they wanted in the first place:

    Single Payer.

While Obama says you can keep yourdoctor and health care plan if you like it, if employers drop it, you can’t…it’s that simple.

It’s been that transparent to anyone who has been paying attention.

These aren’t unintended consequences…they were planned all along.

  17. CW………
In considering Snowden’s actions I personally believe that he had the interests of the American people at heart. This is something we have YET TO SEE from our alleged POTUS. If Snowden is to be prosecuted in ANY way ,shape or form then we have a usurper in the WACKY HOUSE that should face prosecution LONG BEFORE Snowden. Until that happens Snowden will probably be forced to remain in Russia. At least PUTIN has had the balls to tell the world that he intends to totally eradicate the terrorists from Russia. …….and I say to him I stand 100% behind him. You will never see such a declaration from Soetoro, he is too cowardly.

  18. There was talk about Hillary’s face lift earlier last year…Wow, check this recent pic of her at De Blasio’s swearing in ceremony. Is this a high priced face lift, is she on steroids (classic bloated face) is she going blind??? or all the above? She is either sick or this a horrbly botched face job.

  19. Just exactly what Putin chooses to do with respect to the Chechenya, or Alquida Islamic radicals seems to me will be nothing short of the outright death of every one that is either caught in perpetrating an act of terrorism,or even supporting or assisting such an act. In the US Soetoro just releases them from Gitmo….one after the other, so that they can try once again to murder American people. Take a guess as to which will be the most effective in stopping the Islamic bullshi#. As for me my money is on Putin.

  20. CW……
Tv station KITV @ KITV.com has a really great picture of the allegedly SEVERELY DAMAGED aircraft floating partially submerged, and in one piece, which totally contradicts the Hawaii newspaper story. Of course the Hawaii newspaper is operated by liberal Soetoro supporters. Their story is mostly a FABRICATION. The TV picture tells the truth…..why the hell can’t the newspaper tell the truth? I am sure that they are aware of the picture taken by KITV. They only paint themselves as complete MORONS.

  21. The aircraft could have been recovered from the bottom of the ocen in one piece as well. I am sure that Woodshole would have sent one of their deep diving ROVS to the scene to go into really deep water, and place the beb slings neede to lift the aircraft in one piece. It was INTENTIONALLY broken up……in all probability in a vain effort to mask the reason why it lost power. The people at NTSB are not DUMMIES, but I am betting they will come up with something which will COVER Soetoro’s a55.

It was to get the donkey’s nose under the tent flap, meaning once ObamaCare was passed, the left could gradually build upon its failures until they have the program they wanted in the first place:
First of all, it is great that you finished your book and also nice to have you back!
You are absolutely right about the goal being a “single-payer” plan, otherwise known as socialized medicine. CW’s posted e-mail reaffirms that, imho.

In 2014 when hardworking, prosperous people get hit with such high premiums and deductibles, and there are serious restrictions as to what doctors, hospitals, etc. are listed as qualified on the respective plans, there is going to be, I believe, such a rumpus made and the heat turned up so high, that those folks hit the hardest will probably welcome the government swooping in and so-called rescuing them by “offering” to have a government-paid plan.

We know for sure that folks on the low-end who are practically paying nothing already aren’t going to object to socialized medicine. They already have a form of it.
So it’s the middle-class in particular that will end up welcoming the government stepping in and putting them on a par with the others.

This would be a very, very dangerous development, because when you lose control over your personal healthcare in a country like the USA and especially under a hijacked government like we now have, you are giving up basic freedoms and even the right to live.

That is why Obama is so smug and self-assured. He knows the plan.

  23. Hello William, oldsailor81, CW……and all

I did what I set out to do and I hope my future generations are kind in their evaluation of my worth to the “sorry human race” as Mark Twain would have put it…at least in a hundred years they can look back and say with all honesty that they knew where the “old man” stood on things…it’s like my wife reminds me all the time by saying that I am , “far, far to the right of Attila the Hun”….I guess that makes me a rebel with a cause,… of which I am proud to claim.

The book is a best seller…unfortunately it will never be published…it is, and always was intended as a record for the future members of my clan to better understand who I was……I think I did a good job of putting it all into words.

Now I must turn my attention to my country that is “going to hell in a handbasket” more each day……but not for long…like so many who post here, I feel 2014 will be the year….if not, there will be little hope for this country and everyone in it.

What amazed me and continues to amaze me is…..1) .how in the hell did we let this happen in the first place?…and 2) why is it taking so long to get this ship back on course?

You ask earlier if anyone had a prediction for 2014….my prediction is; Once Obamacare sets in and everyone sees just how much they have been screwed by the Democrats, and how much they are loosing with this “bogus” government control takeover….all hell will break loose and I would not care to be in Barack Hussain Obama’s shoes….or for that matter, anyone else who has pushed this Marxist/Communist government down our throats….my prediction is there will be “GREAT FIREWORKS BY, OR BEFORE, JULY 4TH” and it won’t be from the firecrackers !

I futher predict the Republicans will control both houses of our federal government…and the “brakes will be put on Obama”…if he is still around……which I seriously doubt.

The proverbial frog in pot of boiling water.

  25. Old Sailor,
I do so appreciate your knowledge re. the plane wreckage in Hawaii. It surely is very fishy that the pics show the engines and other parts so demolished and yet the plane was on the surface of the water for a considerable time.

What do these jerks think we are anyway? A bunch of ignoramuses? Sometimes I think that they have become so perverse in their thinking that they now look at us in the same way and believe that we are stupid, too. Unbelievable!

  26. Honor First…….I agree,

That doesn’t look like Hillery…..maybe it’s one of Bill’s Bimbo’s……many it’s his, “working secretary”…….you know, the one that takes dictation…..

Hello to Cabbyaz…..I hope I don’t bore you, or anyone else with my post…I will try to be civilized in my post …will for a while anyway…hehe

  27. With respect to the Hawaii newspaper, their INITIAL story was that the aircraft was severely damaged…………..now they are repeating a NTSB statement wherein the aircraft floated for twenty five minutes before it sank. Which story is the truth Hawaii newspaper? Seems to me that your TV station gtot it right first try,but maybe you have too many writers who are willing to lie to make it look like it was a really horrific crash. I hasten to add that if the airplane was initially broken in to as many pieces as was photographed on the barge I know that many more of the people on board ,or possibly ALL would have been killed,and/or would have went to the bottom of the ocean with the remains of the airplane.,or sharks would have attacked all of the bodies that were afloat. The areas around Hawaii is a real Shark mecca, which includes great whites. The simple fact that the worst injury sustained in the accident was a laceration to the pilot’s forehead. implies that the reality of the alleged crash was really a gentlr FLOAT DOWN to the surface, which would have been what any pilot with any brains would have done.

  28. Has anyone who post on here, other than CW, William, and myself, every eaten froglegs? It takes at least 3 dozen to make a meal and your still hungry afterwards !!!

I hope no one send the “word police” after me for all the mistakes I’m making today !

In truth you havn’t missed much. Little has changed. As for your #1 I would feel as though I must say that America was SLEEPING, and a large percentage of them were, and still are sleeping resultant of either over indulging in DRUGS,or alcohol,or both. The obvious answer to your number 2 is because we did not NOTICE the SUBTLE changes which have been pushed upon our kids by the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE school teachers, from grade one forward. Now we have almost an entire generation who must be RE EDUCATED….becausa large percentage of them are like a BOX OF ROCKS.

  30. RMINNC…..
I have a relative by marriage who eats froglegs like they are going out of style or something. I have looked at far too many of them while flyfishing for Bluegill in the mid spring. I think that if I were to ingest even one frog leg I would immediately be in dire need of a BARF BAG. har har

  37. Oldsailor81……..

The book now has over 300 pages…..from “cradle to now”…..the grave part will have to be added by someone else…..it is a tell all… and I hold nothing back otherwise I will have to account for it in the hereafter…..I haven’t added the pictures to the text yet..that will take up many more pages

Thank goodness I had a good word processor which corrected my spelling and grammer mistakes….otherwise I would still be on chapter one…page one.

Once it’s in final form, I will let anyone read a chapter of my book, if they would like….the title of the public chapter is; Captain Jim.

It tells the story of Orin Jameson Walker, a native of Boston, Mass., who came south and married a refined Georgia lady named Patricia….to his wife and military superiors, he was just plain Jim…to the men of his company who served under him, he was Captain Jim…to me, he was just a friend and fellow soldier.

I served with Captain Jim in the 1st Battalion, of the 46th Infantry at Fort Hood, Texas in 1961-64. Jim was an Airborne/Ranger and that made us brothers under the skin. Jim got orders for Vietnam in the spring of 1964 and was to serve as an advisor or the Vietmanese army in the Delta region somewhere around the Plain of Jars…that was an area that was a hotbd of gurillia activity…but nothing that Jim couldn’t handle…that is….if he had the right soldiers to work with.

Jim was capture by the Viet Cong only four months after being in country, the same month I got orders sending me into an advisory role in Vietnam for the first time….I too was to become an infantry advisor to a Vietnamese battalion….I went to the 10th ARVN Division and then to the 48th Infantry Regiment about 30 miles from the Cambodian border and north of Ben Hoa.

All during that year I advised and went into combat with the Vietnamse soldiers of that regiment, we were getting intelligence reports of sightings of villages where Jim was or had been. The Viet Cong had moved him from the Delta region up to the Secord Corp area of operations on to the Ho Chi Minh trail…that is a collection of thousands of large and small trails that lead out of north Vietnam down through Laos and Cambidia and ending in the delta region of southern Vietnam.

On my second tour of duty to Vietnam, I went back into advising the Vietmanes Infantryagain, in the same area of Vietnam. That year, we also would receive reports on Jim and the treatment he was getting from the Viet Cong…but it was always after the fact…after they had moved him again and again.

The reports we were getting reflected badly on the treatment Jim was getting from the enemy. He was made a propangada “trophy” for the Viet Cong as they lead him from village to village. He was forced to live in a small bamboo cage at night where his captors would urinate and defiate on him while he was in the cage….his life was a living hell, twenty four hours a day for as long as he was held in captivity…his health deterorated rapidly…he lost all his teeth and was riddled with numerous ailments according to the reports we were received. He was a walking dead man from the first day he was taken prisoner.

He was always close to areas were he could have been rescued, but the Viet Cong never kept him in one place long enough for us to get a real fix on his location.

Jim died sometime in 1972 in captivity and his remains were never recovered. At the time he went to Vietnam, he had a son and daughter. The son was four years old, his dauther was six. Pat, his wife, never remarried. She passed away in 2011 while livng in a small town in Wyoming…I guess she wanted some small out of the way place for peace and quite and Wyoming was the best place for that it.

Jim’s daughter now lives in Columbus Ga. and his son resides in Louiseville, Ky.

Although Jim went to war in 1964 and never returned, his memory still lives on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends who knew him…..I am proud to say that I am one of the latter……

Once the pictures and final edit is made on my book….if you like, I will email or snail mail, you a copy of the chapter concerning Captain Jim…there is much more to the story than I have told here..

  38. OT but another “unbelievable”:

White House: We Know More About Religious Fidelity Than A Bunch Of Catholic Nuns…

“From an administration dominated by Atheists.” And I would add “born and raised by atheists.

It didn’t take long for the Obama administration to respond publicly to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s temporary injunction against HHS for enforcement of the contraceptive-coverage mandate. Expressing confidence in their position, the White House insisted that their “compromise” for religious organizations satisfied any risk to conscience objections.

All this “compromise” does is to offer a transparent sleight-of-hand to give religious organizations some political cover to claim that they are acting within their religious beliefs when they clearly are not. It should surprise no one that these religious organizations aren’t interested in lying to themselves or other Christians about the nature of this arrangement, even if the White House suffers from the belief that no one takes their prohibitions seriously.

The White House will need to argue in court that they know better how to be faithful to the tenets of Christianity than a bunch of nuns. And, for that matter, a bunch of priests, too:

In a huge victory for Priests for Life, a pro-life organization, a federal appeals court has issued a ruling saying it doesn’t have to pay massive fines to the federal government for not obeying the HHS mandate, which forces religious groups and companies to pay for birth control or abortion-causing drugs for their employees.

An emergency injunction granted late this afternoon in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit means that Priests for Life will not have to obey the contraception mandate contained in the Affordable Care Act as its appeal is being heard. It also means that, tomorrow, Priests for Life will not have to cancel health insurance for its employees.

This absurd mandate will probably founder on the fact that the federal government has imposed an unreasonable restriction on religious expression in service to an end that could easily have been achieved through less-restrictive means — for example, free contraception from the government through expansion of Title IX benefits. This will hopefully be one of the more absurd sideshows in the eventual Supreme Court action this year.

  39. HAVING FUN AT 78 !!!

I have a Vietnam Veteran cap and I wear it almost everywhere I go….

Yesterday, I wore it when I went shopping at Wal-Mart.

While standing in line to check out, the guy in front of me,
probably in his early thirties, asked, “Are you a Viet Nam Vet?”

    “No,” I replied.

“Then why are you wearing that cap?”?

“Because I couldn’t find the one from the War of 1812.”
I thought it was a snappy and proper retort.

“The War of 1812, huh?” the Walmartian queried, “When was that?”

God forgive me, but I couldn’t pass up such an opportunity that was presented me….
    “1936,” I answered as straight-faced as possible.

He pondered my response for a moment and responded,
“Why do they call it the War of 1812 if it was in1936?”

“It was a Black Op. No one was supposed to know about it.”

This was beginning to be a lot of fun !

“Dude! Really?” he exclaimed. “How did you get to do
    something that COOOOL?”

I glanced furtively around me for effect, leaned toward
the guy with all the intelligence and in a low voice said, “I’m not sure. I was the only Caucasian on that mission.”

“Dude,” he was really getting excited about what he was hearing,
“that is some seriously awesome stuff ! But, didn’t you kind of stand out in the crowd?”

“Not really. The other guys were wearing white camouflage.”

    The moron nodded knowingly.

“Listen man,” I said in a very serious tone, “You can’t
tell anyone about this. It’s still ‘top secret’ and I shouldn’t
    have said anything to you.”

“Oh yeah?” he gave me that ‘don’t threaten me look.’
“Like, what’s gonna happen if I do?”

With a really hard mean look I said, “You have a family
don’t you? We wouldn’t want anything to happen to
    them, now would we?”

The guy gulped, left his basket where it was and fled
    through the door.

What a great time I had at Wal-Mart today! Tomorrow I plan on going back with my Homeland Security cap…. that should be fun too.

Then the following day, I will go to the North Carolina drivers license agency and wear my Border Patrol cap and t-shirt, and see how long it
takes for me to empty the place.

Whoever says that retirement is boring and uneventful just don’t know how to enjoy their retirement……., all you need is an imaginative attitude and ……….the right baseball cap.

  40. RMINNC………..
Your Captain Jim account is one that really angers me deeply. It makes me want to hunt down every one of the BASTARDS who held the man in a Goddam cage, and inflict an even slower death upon each of them, and certainly a 24 hour, and extremely painful existence until their deaths as well, and “do onto them everything they done onto Captain Jim.”and a hell of a lot more.

  41. oldsailor81….

That’s exactly what I was trying to do every other time I returned to Vietnam…..inflict as much pain and suffering on the enemy as I possibly could…and I got my licks in.

  42. Houston Hospital Unable To Pay Employees For Weeks Because Of Obamacare Contractor Failure To Pay Medicare Reimbursements

The contractor building the financial management system for Healthcare.gov is being blamed by a Houston hospital for delayed Medicare reimbursements that have caused the hospital to miss payrolls for weeks. Novitas Solutions is the federal government’s new Medicare payment processor for the south-central region of the country hired by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS.) ABC-KTRK in Houston reports:

According to the CEO Jason Leday, more than 150 employees haven’t been paid in nearly a month.

“I understand that they have children and a house payment, bills. Not getting paid is wow,” nearby resident Theresa Gutierrez said.

The hospital is strapped for cash not because its not making money, but because Leday says a new Medicare payment facilitator named Novitas Solutions is taking too way long to pay out Medicare claims to the hospital.

Leday says he’s owed nearly $3 million in payments from Medicare and can’t make payroll…

The Texas Medical Association says they are familiar with complaints like this one regarding the medicare payment facilitator- and a representative told us smaller community hospitals like this one are in similar situations.

  43. RMINNC…………..
Love the WalMart story! When people get to the that level of stupidity, I can see where it might be a lot of fun making them believe that UP is DOWN, after all they are usually the level of intelligence you find with Soetoro supporters. If you noticed an odor coming from his buttocks area you would have had absolute confirmation that he was an HIGHLY EDUCATED OBOT.

  44. Oldsailor81…..

As of this moment……CW has not made your email available

ps….there was an oder coming from him now that you mentioned it…haha

  45. Observer…….
………..and soon the hospital will be forced into bankruptcy action. That translates to ONE LESS ER that can be forced by federal law to treat people who cannot or refuse to pay for the ER services. Before long there will no longer be any hospitals which will treat any emergency cases, unless the patient has some form of payment ability. And soon thereafter no ERs at all. You just lie down and die. Probably just around the corner.

  46. RMINNC……….I have both read, and heard that Moozies, Mexicorns, and a large percentage of teen age manure colored people do not use TOILET PAPER. When you get behind one of them in a check out line you will probably find yourself in immediate, and dire need of a BARF BAG. I stopped going to Walmart for that reason…..it happened to me! I got behind a person who appeared to be a foreigner, and wow the stench was nearly overbearing, and at one point I nearly puked. I hastily got out of the line and went to another register.

  55. At “American Thinker”:

“Nick Chase. I have watched this story unfold since Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign charged Obama with not being a US citizen, or not qualified for office. Your summary that he was born in Hawaii is not supported by simple facts of tampering, such as the microfiche film role changes for the birth announcements at the local papers. The only Obama birth Certificate that had solid testable credibility is the one from Kenya with a Footprint on it, and the delivering physician name on the certificate was a neighbor and friend of his father’s in Kenya. Take a minute and ask where the Hawaiian copy of his footprints are (which was mandatory at the time for birth in US)? Hawaii allows for ‘registration’ of a birth by a family member, which I suspect was grandma who worked with the courts. Should Obama have been born in Kenya, registered by his grandmother, then adopted, it would have been very difficult to obtain a social security number…..and that’s why Obama failed when he tried to sign up for Obamacare. Why does Obama have a re-issued social security number that he started using in the 1970’s, and who is the person whose name is on the house he ‘owns’ in Chicago?

“What difference does it make?” There just is to much hidden evidence to ‘conjecture’ upon the truth and to be sure it’s hidden for a reason. The reality is that Democrats, Obama, and the DNC are incapable of keeping the truth out of the public eyes unless everyone of power wanted it hidden. I mean everyone, including the three letter acronyms that surround the DC complex, would be pulled together and people would be told to be silent.

Obama Presidency is a resounding sign that the intelligence communities of the United States now run the country, not “We the People”. I think it’s time we stop putting lipstick on the pig, and start looking at the apparatus capable of such deception on the American People. The damage created has been incalculable for the average American, the misery is increasing. The truth is not only required for the American people, it’s imperative for the survival of the Republic and the Constitution.”

  57. Is The Alignment of Your Toilets Putting You At Risk for Schizophrenia?

A study claims that dogs align themselves with earth’s magnetic lines when they poop. And when the magnetic fields are scrambled, they become “confused.”

Czech and German researchers studied 70 dogs during 1,893 defecations and 5,582 urinations over the course of two years, and found that when the Earth’s magnetic field was stable the dogs chose to align themselves with it. When it was unstable, such as during a solar flare, the dogs would become confused.

Dogs on leashes, however, do not consistently align themselves as such, mainly doing so when they are free to choose. Researchers are yet to figure out why dogs exhibit this preference.

Yeah, here are some big old doubts I have: How frequently did dogs choose to align with the magnetic fields? Just somewhat more frequently than mere chance would suggest, I’d bet. And there’s a lot of room for shenanigans with the definition of “aligning” one self with the magnetic field. How far off the line can a dog be and still get counted as “aligned” with it?

Those doubts aside, a lot of animals can sense magnetic fields and they use them as clues to navigating the local environment.

    thanks to @clayremick

  62. WHAT RECOVERY? George Will Exposes Obama’s Failed Economic Record (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, January 2, 2014, 6:47 PM

    What recovery?
George Will tonight exposed the Obama administration’s failed economic record.
    He nailed it.

“The recession began in December 2007. Since then we’ve added 13 million more Americans are in the country and we have 1.3 million fewer jobs. We’ve lowered the unemployment largely, not entirely, but largely because workforce participation rate has gone down as more and more workers have been discouraged and are no longer count any more because they’re no longer looking for work. If the workforce participation rate today were as high as it was when the recession began the unemployment rate would be 11.3%. We wouldn’t be calling it a poor recovery because it wouldn’t count as a recovery at all.”

  63. Dear Cabbyaz…..goodmorning to you !.

  64. OLDSAILOR81…

Did my email to you go through?

  65. RMinNC…………..

So far I have received nothing. I just a few minutes ago sent my email to CW exactly as it must appear. Do not forget the hyphen or it will not go through.

  66. Oldsailor81….

I think thats the problem….no hyphen….the one CW sent me didnt have it…
where does the hyphen appear in the addy between the d and w?

  67. RMINNC………..

When you type the email and you come to the HYPHEN you MUSTuse the shift key as though you are typing a capital letter. This makes it an UNDERINE of one character,or space required for one letter, If you omit it it is equivalent to leaving out a letter, which makes the addy incorrect.

  68. oldsailor81

    Check your email now…

  69. Rminnc………..

That was my first thought as well. There is only one place in the addy where an underline can be placed. Take a guess and I will tell you when you are on the money.

  70. RminNC……….
If you use a hyphen as such the email addy will be incorrect. When you type the duse a underine on the space between the d and the next letter. Use all lower case, except for the underline.

  71. oldsialor, RMinNC.
The email address was copied & shows up correctly in the sent mail folder.

  72. thanks CW….I think I was using it wrong….I tried again with a _ between the d and w
it should go through this time…..emailing is not my specality….but I try.

  73. CW……
The only thing that I can think of now is for RMINNC to OK for you to give me his email so I can send him a test page. If I don’t get the test page back with a message on it then it will be confirmed that he ISN’T HOLDING HIS MOUTH RIGHT…har har

  74. CW…..

good idea….give oldsailor81 my email……lets work it that way…thanks…I always thought there was more to this email stuff other thjan typing…I type with my mouth closed….should it be open….haha

  75. RMINNC…………
I would suggest that you delete the email addy completely then retype it. in so doing do not allow any double space to occur. The space which you UNDERLINE must be ONLY one character wide. The rest of the email addy will have no spaces, and will be all lower case. Also you need to be certain that you use the @ sign whivch immediately follows the numerical portion, and prefixes the IP.

  76. OLDSAILOR81….

  81. “I just thought someone would want to know when these people died”

Not all heroic acts have to occur on a battlefield. And not all acts of heroism are recognized at the time; some are not observed, or otherwise slip through the crack. Some are even ignored or forgotten for a while – sometimes permanently.

Sixty-plus years ago, an act of heroism occurred. It was one among many that occurred during the Korean War.

    It’s a story you’ve likely never heard. I hadn’t either – until today.

It’s a story worth hearing. But you might want to grab a tissue or two first.

PFC Wayne A. “Johnnie” Johnson was an 18-year-old soldier. His first permanent duty assignment was occupation duty in Japan.

In July 1950, he received his second assignment: Korea. It wasn’t pleasant. Johnson’s unit was part of the Army’s 24th Infantry Division. In early July, they were deployed from Japan to Korea.( Remember in the early part of the Korean War, the 24th Infantry Division lost their colors when the division headquarters was overun by the enemy).

After arriving at the front, Johnson’s unit was committed to the Battle of Chochiwon. On his sixth day at the front, near Chochiwon, Johnson was taken prisoner.
Not long afterwards, as part of a group of 758 POWs and civilian internees Johnson was moved to North Korea. The group was moved under the command of a brutal North Korean Major referred to as “the Tiger” – giving rise to the name “Tiger Group”. At least one straggler was executed in cold blood during the move as an example for the other prisoners.

Of the group, nearly 500 died before the end of the war. The first occurred, tragically, from friendly fire. A building in which the POWs were held during the move north was strafed, killing several US personnel.
Conditions for POWs were abysmal. Record-keeping of any type by POWs was forbidden by their captors.

Johnson knew that, and the risks involved. He decided to ignore the prohibition. He began recording POW deaths. Just the basics: name, rank, date of death, unit, and hometown. Johnson used stolen supplies to record his lists. He was discovered once, and severely beaten. His list was confiscated as “propaganda”.

Johnson wasn’t dumb, though. He’d made a second copy of his list and hidden it in another location. He continued keeping his list. At the end, Johnson had documented the deaths of 496 members of the original 758 “Tiger group” of POWs.

After the Korean War, Johnson was repatriated. Shortly before he was to be released, the Red Cross gave all returnees a small bag of supplies. In that bag was a metal toothpaste tube. Johnson removed the toothpaste, washed the tube, and used that to store his list. It was in that tube that the list returned to US control with Johnson.

The list was noted during Johnson’s debriefing. The debriefer wrote a memo recommending Johnson be commended for his actions. But for whatever reason, the memo – and Johnson’s list – was then forgotten for 40+ years.

But it wasn’t to stay forgotten forever.

The “Tiger Survivors” periodically held reunions. In 1995 (or 1996; accounts differ), Johnson attended such a reunion. He mentioned his list to other survivors. A Department of Army staffer at the reunion also heard of the list. Johnson’s original debriefing files were rechecked. The original memo recommending him for commendation was forwarded to HQ, Department of the Army.

In 1996, the Army corrected a 40+ year old oversight. Johnson was awarded theArmy’s third highest award for bravery, the Silver Star for the danger he took in keeping the list as a POW.
After the Korean War, Johnson became a resident of Texas. Sadly, PFC Wayne Archer “Johnnie” Johnson passed away in 2011 at age 79. He’s buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.

Years later before he died, Johnson was asked why he risked his life to maintain his list. After all, his list couldn’t really help the dead, and could well get himself (and anyone else who knew of it or helped him) severely punished or killed. Indeed, it had gotten Johnson severely punished on one occasion.

For Johnson’s response to that question, I refer you back to the title at the beginning of this article.

Well done, PFC Johnson. Well done indeed. Your bravery has not gone unnoticed. May you rest in peace

This story was not authored by me but was taken from another source.
It is a story well worth reading. It is a story from America’s dim past that shines a bright light on the bravery of a common soldier…..a Private First Class serving in the Infantry branch of the United States Army during a period of war.

This story should tell the reader one thing:… all men who carry the rifle and met their foe in battle are hero’s…some get medals, and some don’t…but they are all hero’s nevertheless.

Although it may come 60 years too late, I salute you PFC Johnson !

Jim Garrows was a CIA operative working in China recently and has been making the talk show arena lately, Hagmann and Hagmann, Alex Jones, and Pete Santilli. He has been making some very scary claims lately and talks about our near future under Obama.

Can someone here find out the truth about this guy? If half of his stories are true we are in big trouble.

Judges still haven’t decided challenge to Obama’s tenure
