Rush Limbaugh Obama a foreigner, We don’t need birth certificate

“Why has Obama, for over 2 years, employed numerous private and government attorneys to avoid presenting a legitimate birth certificate and college records?”…Citizen Wells and millions of concerned Americans

Rush Limbaugh, on his September 30, 2010 show stated “We don’t need a birth certificate to know that Obama is a foreigner”.

https://citizenwells.com/2010/10/02/rush-limbaugh-we-dont-need-a-birth-certificate-to-know-that-obama-is-a-foreigner/

Rush, we don’t know where Obama was born.

Rush Limbaugh, call me.

  1. Good Morning! I also liked Rush pointing out that no one should expect the media to like any Republican candidates (other than McCain).

Rezko pleads guilty in restaurant sale scheme (“ready and willing” to testify at Blago retrial)

A onetime top fundraiser for former Gov. Rod Blagojevich who was already convicted of taking kickbacks from state contractors pleaded guilty Friday in a separate scheme involving the bogus sale of his pizza restaurants. After the plea by Antoin “Tony” Rezko, his lawyer touted his client as “ready and willing” to be a “formidable witness” at Blagojevich’s retrial, though prosecutors didn’t put him on the stand for the former governor’s trial this summer. Rezko pleaded guilty to a single count of wire fraud in connection with $10 million in fraudulent loans he arranged for business partners to buy a chain…

  2. I think that I am in agreement with Rush. After all how many candidates for POTUS think that there are 57 states? Sort of telling, don’t you think?

  4. Off Topic but here is another question that we all might soon see answered. How many of you saw Glenn Beck on the Oreilly show last night? Did you notice his strang behavior?. Did you notice the strange appearance to his facial countenance. This is quite telling. He was either drunk or on some form of drugs. His verbal behavior was also rather strange when compared to his usual behavior. He would not be the first entertainer to turn to drugs for a little of pre show fortification. In addition Beck also stated while looking squarely into the camera that Soetoro was born in the US. Then I am forced to ask, “How can Beck be a PRAYING Christian when he advocates a lie in itself.? Last night the red flags went up and the” TILT” sign came on, and I lost the final vestiges of faith in Glenn Beck. I pray that I am wrong. He has done a lot to expose the PROGRESSIVE movement to our ignorant society.

  5. With respect to Rezko, I remain very doubtful that there will even be a second trial of BLAGO. If Rahm is somehow elected as the next mayor of Chicago one of the first things he will do will to call upon his bathouse friends to scrub the trial. Pardon the PUN!

Good Nashville Sunshine Morning to you, Sir!

  12. Free Speech…………………………………
I am wondering if Al Gore would actually do that. He still has a lot to lose if he gets caught in the middle. I would think that it would be far more than he even suspects.

Representative Kendrick Meek, the Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in the November 2nd mid-terms, also neglected to let Mr Obama’s name pass his lips during an appearance with the former vice-president in a union hall.

Instead, the black congressman lauded “President Gore” – a reference to the 2000 election, when hanging chads in Florida and the US Supreme Court cost the Democrat the White House.

  14. Free Speech………………………………
My wife is from Louisville, and we had recently seriously considered moving to Spencer County in Ky. Recent developments in my health have sort of put all of that on the back burner. I believe that she will ultimately move back to Ky.

  15. Free Speech …………………………..
Your last comment is EXACTLY what I was aluding to when I said “More than he even suspects” There are ramifications from this that are as plain as the nose on your face with regard to LEGAL procedure. Algore needs to be extremely careful when he starts opening his mouth in an election cycle.

  16. I just don’t know. We have somone running for a seat in NY, that says removing an ineligible citizen from the White House is his top priority, Lt.Col.Lakins court marshall, Mario’s writ… Maybe I can have faith in the United States Government again. Although knowing they were capable of this BS, I can never trust any of them again. Stay safe all, God Bless.

  17. While I don’t know about Tennessee, I do know that there are a lot of people in Ky who still carry a grudge against Al Gore, and are sitting and salivating, just waiting for him to say the wrong thing. And they will be on him like stink on manure, seeing who can be first to verbally turn him into CROW BAIT. I think Al Gore might still outsmart these people and keep his pie hole shut until after November.

  27. A HUG TOO FAR
    BY LARRY KUDLOW
    (excerpt)
Am I the only one who saw weakness when President Obama and his departing chief of staff Rahm Emanuel gave each other big, fat, full-bore hug following their speeches at the resignation event in the White House’s East Room on Friday?
Remember, this is on global television. And it has to do with the very top of the United States government. Our friends and enemies were all watching.
    (snip)
Why not just a dignified, stand-up, serious handshake? That’s what Reagan would have done. A strong handshake shows friendship, respect, and even affection. But a big fat hug seems to go over the line.
Perhaps I’m overreacting to this. But when it comes to the presidency and the behavior of our top leaders, I think the image we want to send at home and abroad is one of serious strength of purpose. Not some kind of collegiate squeeze. Somehow the Obama-Emanuel embrace seemed demeaning — to the presidency, to our officialdom, and to our strength of purpose.

    Yep, that’s right. Global Cooling.
Which means one of two things.
Either it was a printing error.
Or the global elite is perfectly well aware that global cooling represents a far more serious and imminent threat to the world than global warming, but is so far unwilling to admit it except behind closed doors.
Let me explain briefly why this is a bombshell waiting to explode.
It is time we put a stop to this. In the US, the Tea Party movement is showing us the way. We need to punish these dodgy politicians at the ballot box.

Michelle, re. Rahm “dead fish” Emanuel – There has been speculation that the real reason he left the WH is not because he is seeking to run for mayor of Chicago, but because he wanted to get out while the “getting is good.”

Since reading your post, I am thinking that he just can’t stand the heat of fellow Dems whom he pushed, in his own imitable way, to follow policies that have now ruined many of them politically. There are probably several reasons, I would imagine. Very seldom is anything really clear cut.

    ===================================

Yeah, that is actually how I got here. Carlyle was “born” on Texas Darlin’ web site – for matters of the Zero Fraud, that used to be THE place to be. I googled Carlyle one day on a whim and found some Obot had quoted me – actually misquoted me, and set up a strawman offcenter to what I had said, and then began to tilt at this windmill of his own manufacture. (Sound familiar – deja ju all over again?).

So I proceeded over to, I think it was, Arlen Williams old site, and crossed wits with said Obot for a couple of months. As I like to claim for here, I never called the Obot names, specifically, I just discussed provocative things with him. Eventually he so thoroughly outed himself and characterized his own true ambitions that he lost all credibility and being out of venom he slinked away.

Then (I’m partly embarrassed to say) I used to listen to Ed Hale on the internet radio because I found his antics amusing but of course non-credible – yet one always hoped for the Blind Squirrel Syndrome – and he DID know the nature of the truth. I would sometimes ask provocative questions in the chat room – just because that is what I do. Then someone says, – hey aren’t you the Carlyle from TD, you sound just like him?!

And then, somehow somebody who recognized the moniker suggested I try here. After TD dried up, this ended up being like the only tree left standing. So here I am.

In summary, yes – even a fictitious character can build some reputation and karma. Be careful.

(PS – my Obot fighting credentials are legendary across multiple blogs – that is one reason I rarely worry too much about being called an Obot myself (or a Mossad Agent!), because it’s sort of like a little leaguer telling Mickey Mantle they are a lousy hitter – it tends to “out” the accuser more than the accusee.)

bo ordered the US Air Force to spray Corexit/Poison on the Gulf. Don’t let bo get away with POISONING these Good People.

    ======================================

I wish it were that simple. I at least LEAN in your direction in that 1) I know the the full truth is far from known and probably differs in at least some significant particulars from the official narrative, and 2) Commander Zero and his Flying Minkeys are up to no good somehow.

But it seems that is ALL we really know.

I do not know how much Corexit was actually sprayed from planes, or for how long or where. For the purposes of this post, let’s just say you are right and a lot of it was sprayed over the ocean where the oil slicks seemed to be the worst. But that still leaves significant unanswered questions:

    1. Who ordered/approved the spraying and who supervised it. The actual administration “order” that resulted in the spraying could have been as simple as “shall cooperate with national response team and provide flying missions as required”. That is hardly a crime.

    2. Was the Corexit that was sprayed a reasonable response to a huge disaster, with many unknowns, in real time. Nobody doubts that Corexit in any amounts at any location is “not good”. But was it, at the time of it’s deployment, reasonably believed to be the lesser of several possible ungoods?

    3. What regulations and advisories were or were not followed?

    4. Was there significant regulatory/legal tension between or among the various parties and authorities? Who won the resulting tug-o-war? Why, on what basis? Legitimate motive?

    5. Should something different or additional have been done to protect the human and animal inhabitants, especially along the coast? Were any such activities undertaken in good faith, or with intent to deceive?

    6. How is the level and types of sicknesses being reported different than a normal pre-gusher status quo?

    etc.

All this kind of stuff needs to be muddled through before you can even begin to approach the question of “Was any of this pre-planned? When? and by whom?”

Unfortunately the great wheels of justice are excruciatingly slow. It will be decades before even the outlines of this get sorted out. It would seem that the best approach for us Mere Mortals right now is to insist that proper Public Health studies be done, and to do what we can to make sure those are honest and unbiased.

If we all want to vent our frustration by ranting and raving and raging – we should point that enthusiasm and those 3R’s where it will do the most good. In the meantime, like any “war” some people are going to be killed or injured before it all gets sorted out. We knew that the minute the well blew up. Even if EVERYTHING was an accident, even if EVERYTHING was done properly in the aftermath – there was GOING TO BE some carnage. How do you decide what amount of carnage is “acceptable” and “expected” compared to what actually happens? How to decide what and how much to blame on any “culprit”? And who is/are that/those culprit(s)? Huge questions, no answers. Probably years or decades away from answers.

  69. The Tea Party is now more powerful than President Obama
Posted by Darla, ADMIN / National Director on September 27, 2010 at 7:02am in Admin Alerts

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
That is what she says. This is what I say:

“Tea Party more poweful than Obama” is a great claim. Would some one please tell me why they continue to be complicit in Obama’s eligibity cover up by refusing to directly confront the issue of usurpation? While I acknowledge the poweful impact Tea Party has had on this year’s politics, the Tea Party movement has a long ways to GROW BEFORE it can truly take back America. tHEY COULD HAVE BEEN 100 TIMES MORE POWERFUL IF THEY WERE NOT SO PETRIFIED OF BEING CALLED A BIRTHER. The key in taking back America lies in indicting, arresting and trying Obama and the entire group of “cover up” conspirators–including the electoral college, Congress, and all the corrupt judges sitting on their fat bums living off our money.

Right now Obama is a taqiya Christian! They also need to call Muslim a Muslim. Telling the truth is NOT ISLAMAPHOBIC. It is PATRIOTIC!

When the Tea Party finally gets the integrity and honor to do the ABOVE, then I will consider them truly effective. RIGHT NOW, IN SPITE OF THE GOOD THEY HAVE DONE–THEY ARE DOING MORE HARM BY BEING COMPLICT IN THE COVER UP OF OBAMA’S ELIGIBILITY. (Choosing to remain silent over a known crime is an act of TACIT AGREEMENT.) This makes the Tea Party and every one else who refuses to openly confront the subject complict, an enabler, and aider and abbetor and a coconspirator.

The same is true of Glen Beck who lied with O’Slyly on TV last night, and Rush Limbaugh who also has refused to confront the full details of this cover up. Not one word about Lt. Col. Lakin from any of the profiteering alleged “saviours” from America’s number 1 crisis–AN ILLIGITIMATE GOVERNMENT LOOTING AMERICA AND GIVING AWAY THE STOLEN GOODS TO THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES.

    Cabby – AZ | October 2, 2010 at 1:52 pm |

    ====================================

Yeah, I thought you and a few others might find it amusing –

Some of this goes back well over two years. And unlike some of my very best friends and associates and poster buddies – who due to a variety of circumstances – were “not aware” or “asleep” until recently, I have been a “constitutional student” for at least 40 years. I have been watching and reporting the Rape of the Constitution for at least 30 years. I have thoroughly studied such rape back to at least the Civil War. I was kicking and screaming for as long as I can remember about “revisionist history”. I knew THE TRUTH about the Civil War and the Constitution decades before the Politically Incorrect Guides were published.

The one new ASTOUNDING fact that I learned when reading the PIG Constitution was that they don’t even read the constitution in Ivy League law schools that produce Constitutional Scholars. And then to find out that Elena Kagan have never read the Federalst Papers! These are definitely OMG revelations.

But back to the present –

Obots are hard to kill because the are slinky and slimey and even if you pound one down, they pop back up like Wack-a-Mole. So I honestly don’t know if I have ever personally permanently disabled one. But I do know that none has ever got the best of me, or even caught me speechless or scratching my head – never, EVER.

    Different topic –

Did you read my scathing rebuke of “our best president ever” Abe Lincoln, a day or two ago? Ol’ Abe (according to history books) had so many apparent positive qualities that I wanted to adore him as I was encouraged to do. But I cannot forgive him for INVERTING the constitution. The greatest single crime committed against Federal America up until the Age of Zero. He was THE ONE who tipped the playing field to form the slippery slope we have been accelerating down for that last almost 2 centuries now. “Dear Abe” is why I giggle every time I hear people hyper-ventilating about “We The People” and “States Rights”. That boat sailed 150 years ago.

Yeah, I know – I push on those topics also, but many times I am forced to giggle at myself. How long has it been since either the People or the States had any national power at all? What would it take to undo 150 years of intense history and “progress”? My life experience is that it is harder and takes longer to undo things than it does to do them.

We are certainly engaged in a Noble War – one I have already been engaged in for decades – and we must continue and take action where we can – but we must strengthen ourselves – and teach our kids and grandkids – this is a multi-generational effort.

My greatest giggles come from people who are so “gone” that they actually have Obama Derangement Syndrome – i.e. they have taken what might be a crises and have taken it into an alternate reality and over the edge somehow. The most diagnostic characteristic is that they think that Constitutionally and America-wise, everything was pretty good before Obama. That somehow he has single-handedly, or in some dramatic way RAPED THE CONSITUTION. Surprise, numbnuts – the constitution was no virgin before Obama got his grimey hands on it.

Think carefully about this “interesting” argument: “White people have been raping the constitution for decades/centuries, but whining about it when a black man does it seem racist”.

The overall point being – there is way too much “simple” mentality – oh, just do this or that and it will fix things. The truth is VERY complicated and a very long time building. Constitutionalists and Federalists have a very long row to hoe.

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD – – –

(and don’t forget those who believe the battle between good and evil has been going for a VERY LONG time, and will continue indefinitely – must be faithful and on-watch 24/7/365)

    Finally –

If you want to join the multi-generational army and fight for America, the Real the Original America – THE GREATEST NATION EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE – then, among other things, you need to read, comprehend, and absorb the following ideas into the deepest recesses of your soul. Some random quotes taken from CCFUBO’s “Rulebook and Guide to Life” – all written by the Great C. S. Lewis.

We all want progress, but if you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step.

Whenever you find a man who says he doesn’t believe in a real Right and Wrong, you will find the same man going back on this a moment later.

Now is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It won’t last forever. We must take it or leave it.

Who can endure a doctrine which would allow only dentists to say whether our teeth were aching, only cobblers to say whether our shoes hurt us, and only governments to tell us whether we were being well governed?

Without the aid of trained emotions the intellect is powerless against the animal organism.

A great many of those who ‘debunk’ traditional…values have in the background values of their own which they believe to be immune from the debunking process.

An open mind, in questions that are not ultimate, is useful. But an open mind about the ultimate foundations either of Theoretical or of Practical Reason is idiocy.

Everyone feels benevolent if nothing happens to be annoying him at the moment.

It is by human avarice or human stupidity, not by the churlishness of nature, that we have poverty and overwork.

Nothing is yet in its true form.

Thus, and not otherwise, the world was made. Either something or nothing must depend on individual choices.

If nothing is self-evident, nothing can be proved. Similarly if nothing is obligatory for its own sake, nothing is obligatory at all.

The very idea of freedom presupposes some objective moral law which over-arches rulers and ruled alike…Unless we return to the crude and nursery-like belief in objective values, we perish.

Of all bad men religious bad men are the worst.

It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.

Certain things, if not seen as lovely or detestable, are not being correctly seen at all.

The claim to equality, outside the strictly political field, is made only by those who feel themselves to be in some way inferior.

They do not get their qualities from a class: they belong to that class because they have those qualities.

And then she understood the devilish cunning of the enemies’ plan. By mixing a little truth with it they had made their lie far stronger.

Can a mortal ask questions which God finds unanswerable? Quite easily, I should think. All nonsense questions are unanswerable.

Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

If we cut up beasts simply because they cannot prevent us and because we are backing our own side in the struggle for existence, it is only logical to cut up imbeciles, criminals, enemies, or capitalists for the same reasons.

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

The safest road to hell is the gradual one – the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.

Sorry folks – I guess Saturday is essay day – sometimes there are pent up essays that just HAVE to come out. I don’t claim Mozart’s skill, but I claim his urgency, his compulsion, to write!

Sorry if I offended by seeming to change the subject.

    But – on point –

I have mentioned Al Gore numerous times as on the short list of the “most evil man on the planet” award – or some such. I repeatedly write about the ABSOLUTELY HEINOUS Global Warming nonsense. I wrote a heart-wrenching essay the other day about a devastating “coming of age” process in my own life – when I found out that the University Scientists I trusted sold out wholesale to Al Gore and AGW. I repeatedly use Al Gore of a splendid example of vetting people before you believe them. I use the phrase “cui bono” in that regard – and Al Gore fails miserably. Just yesterday or the day before I told a parable that if an election boiled down to me picking between KKK Grand Dragon and Al Gore, that I would pick KKK as lesser of two evils.

Do you have any more “brilliant” questions. Go find GFS and have him put you back in your cage.

I’ll go look. But as you may remember, NBC is not my personal favorite as the best way forward. Oh, I know what it means, and absolutely convinced I know what the founders meant and why they wrote it. I just don’t think that anybody who matters (you know, congress, USSC, etc.) gives a chit about it. So, I don’t know, maybe someone else needs to go pound on that topic.

  78. Cabby and CC,

You are both correct whereby anyone who looks into the camara in such a manner, forcefully stresses a point, is indeed bothersome. It tells me that the individual is hiding a known alternative analysis. To “Over-exert” a point is to intentionally cause attention to that point. A hidden message? Or blatant arrogance mixed with stupidity?

As for George Bush Senior comments of “No New Taxes”, it was interesting to see his personal interview years later on that very subject matter, which cost him the re-election. He allowed the Democrates to talk him into signing their proposed new tax bill expalining that it was a dire need, fiscally doomed if we don’t raise taxes. He spoke of all the Top Dems personally requesting meetings over the matter. He gave in to their false alure – or as many would say – “Reached Acrossed the Isle”, and it bit him on the Butt.

The very same Marxists used it against him in the re-election. It for this reason, their should never be a reaching across the Isle with Marx socialists, it should rather always be – Stick to the Constitution. If that means saying NO, then so be it. I am a Party of NO and damn proud of it.

I didn’t think I was changing the subject. I thought I was “piling on” to the Glenn Beck story about “looking straight into the camera”. I also said I wrote down the first several random examples that occurred to me. I have no doubt that Al Gore videos could yield some spectacular examples also. Almost ANYTHING about his GW movies would work. The instant image I have is of him WHINING, yes WHINING in a little girl voice, in a congress hearing:

    ==============================

Yes, there needs to be a minimum of agreement before “reaching across the aisle”. Both individuals need to be “American”, both need to follow rules and regulations, including the constitution, both need to be honest and ethical, etc.

THEN only can there be a compromise. A valid political compromise is something like discussing what might otherwise be a wise, legitimate, and valuable “Stimulus Fund” of say a few billion $. One congressman might prefer to see it build a bridge in his district, one might need it for a dam and electrification project in his district. A compromise might range from splitting the money with the understanding that each must now raise the rest of what they need from other sources, or might even be something like “you can have this one, but I get the next one”.

Here is an example of an evil and invalid compromise – oh yeah, this actually happened:

R: You put a nasty pork-flavored earmark in this bill.
    D: So?
    R: Take it out.
    D: No – how bout a compromise?
R: Like what, some stupid thing like you agree to cut in in half?
D: No, you can have a pork-flavored earmark of same size also!

Finally one wonders: If good and evil strove to reach a compromise, does meeting half-way make any sense?

You are on a roll today, CC, with all very good stuff. Your comment, “My life experience is that it is harder and takes longer to undo things than it does to do them” is certainly very true. One moment, in the heat of passion or seemingly civic duty can result in much future havoc. I do think we have to give some leeway to Pres. Lincoln, because he was faced with a terrible crisis; and I believe his actions resulted in unintentional consequences, which is more than one can say for the present WH occupant.
From all appearances he INTENDS to bring down the US.

You also rightly say,“The most diagnostic characteristic is that they think that Constitutionally and America-wise, everything was pretty good before Obama. That somehow he has single-handedly, or in some dramatic way RAPED THE CONSITUTION.
That is absolutely a true statement, and I fear lest such a restricted view of what has happened over many decades will have a detrimental effect, because folks are going to expect instant success – a complete 180 degree turn. If it doesn’t happen like that, then what? Will all hope be lost? Only those who UNDERSTAND will stay the course.

Finally, I love the C.S. Lewis quotes – Thanks for sharing them with us. I especially snickered over one of the extremely practical ones, since we have to apply this one from time to time:
“Everyone feels benevolent if nothing happens to be annoying him at the moment.” (I usually feel benevolent but rather lost it a few days ago.)

Although all are excellent, here are a couple of gems which fit perfectly at times when we try to dispel untruths (not opinions, but facts):

“And then she understood the devilish cunning of the enemies’ plan. By mixing a little truth with it they had made their lie far stronger.”

“An open mind, in questions that are not ultimate, is useful. But an open mind about the ultimate foundations either of Theoretical or of Practical Reason is idiocy.
The above are especially good to remember in dealing with the various conspiracy theories that are woefully unsubstantiated.

You say, “I don’t claim Mozart’s skill, but I claim his urgency, his compulsion, to write! ” You keep doing it!!! We are the beneficiaries, and many of us appreciate your wealth of experience and knowledge. (applause)

I must respect your opinion about Abe Lincoln, and perhaps the idea of unintended consequences should be considered more deeply by people. But it is a deep cultural and personal thing with me.

The Civil War (properly called The War of Northern Aggression) has been a lifelong bugbear for me. It is where I first learned about the heinous intellectual sin of Revisionist History.

And whether he intended it or not – he DID break the State’s backs with malice and forethought.

There are a number of ways that “the problem” which caused that war could have been dealt with without a war. The most obvious of which would have been for the Northern Industrialists to have negotiated with the Southern Agrarians over a reasonable economic compromise.

There did not need to be a war and there did not need to be a Constitutional inversion. So, in the end, I will not ridicule your interest in Abe Lincoln, because he DID have some good aspects, but given my background and focus – I just cannot forgive him. Ever.

But – let’s move on to other subjects – that one cannot be fixed – it is long in the grave – all we can do is try to work backwards and unwind or repeal bad court decisions and even bad amendments one at a time.

  93. MORE OBOT DELUSION. Get a clue, Obots! Several States have filed suit against the bo regime, State Grand Juries are preparing indictments of bo and his local co-conspirators. My approach tends to make me sympathetic to the times and conditions under which they lived – “they” meaning Presidents and other leaders. I don’t mean that in a wishy-washy sort of way but rather from the standpoint of “walking in another man’s shoes”, within acceptable limits, of course. There is right and there is wrong, and a good man can do wrong. Sometimes a bad man can do right, occasionally. So, perhaps, my limited knowledge in some matters tends to make me feel more lenient. I don’t know….. Poorly placed sentiment, perhaps, on my part? I don’t want that to be the case.

Isn’t it time to stop these attacks on CC? What is the point? You attacked because you claimed that CC was supporting Al Gore. When he showed that it was not the case you attack claiming that he has not “attacked” Øbozo. That is simply not true.

There are indeed many things that can be brought up, and many issues are not even covered.

How about we agree to look again at the obvious corruption that took place in Chicago? Øbama was right in the middle of that corruption. So was Jesse Jackson JR. So was Rahm Emmanuel.

I cannot for the life of me fathom how Rahm thinks that he will be elected mayor when he is hated so much in Chicago. It makes no sense at all.

Opponents of a new mosque in Rutherford County filed suit, asking a judge to block the project.

In a complaint filed Thursday afternoon and amended on Friday, opponents say county officials violated Tennessee’s Sunshine Laws when they approved the mosque, failing to give proper public notice and holding a secret pre-meeting about the mosque advocating approval. They say the county approved an illegal burial on the site.

Opponents say that since the mosque plan includes a school and soccer fields, the project doesn’t count as a religious building.

Dave Keene: Democrats in Free Fall, Fighting Each
    Other
Friday, 01 Oct 2010 09:52 AM Article Font Size
    By: Ronald Kessler

Democrats are in for ugly blowback once they realize how soundly they are defeated in November, Dave Keene, chairman of the American Conservative Union, tells Newsmax.
Already, because of a belief they will lose, the Democratic leadership has gone into “triage mode” by deciding to cut off support for 30 members of Congress seeking re-election, Keene says.
“Once that happens to those members, it’s no longer the Republicans’ fault, it’s no longer the tsunami that is approaching, it’s their leaders who have sold them out, and you can see the results already,” Keene says. “On the Hill, they are fighting with each other. It’s like they have been told by the guys on the Titanic that they should stand there and listen to the orchestra and go down like men.”
Members are saying, “Wait a minute,” Keene says. “You guys who control the life boat are the guys who sunk the ship, and so we want off. So you got this big fight going on, and it means that as the session draws to an end, chaos is the main feature of what’s going on on the Hill.”
When the lame duck session starts, “They’re going to have 40 or 50 resentful Democrats in the House who have lost their seats,” Keene says. “The administration will say now what you guys need to do, even though you have lost, is pass our measures. But these are guys who are coming back will be saying, wait a minute — you lost us our seats. The party discipline is gone.”
Keene is one of the country’s most astute political observers, As outlined in the Newsmax story “Keene: Obama Will Overreach,” just after Obama won the presidency, Keene said that Obama “did not win for the reasons he thinks he did, and he can be counted on to overreach, helping to return Republicans to power.”

Keene predicts that as many as 1,500 Democratic professional staffers could be out of work when control of the House reverts to Republicans.

“So those 1,500 staffers are no longer interested in party loyalty,” Keene says. “They are interested in going someplace and finding a job. So at that point the only tool the administration has is promises of a job, and there are not enough jobs. When they start to go down, and there is no way out, things get ugly.”
As it is, a growing number of Democrats are breaking with the Obama administration and their own leadership by favoring an extension of the Bush tax cuts at all income levels.
“First of all, there are a lot of Democrats who down deep don’t buy into this class warfare stuff,” Keene says. “While they favor a bigger government than Republicans do, they aren’t for the Europeanization of America.
“They went along with it to follow their party leadership and their president, but once the party leadership and the president lose both their credibility and the ability to help them and have decided to jettison and put them out there on their own, they are going to do what they think is either best for them or best for the country. That is what’s happening on the tax cut issue.”
While Keene predicts a Republican takeover of the House, he expects Republicans will pick up six or seven seats in the Senate as well. That will give Republicans enough votes to control the agenda. In addition, the Republican caucus will be more conservative than previously.
“You will no longer be bargaining with a Bob Bennett,” Keene says. “You will be bargaining with Marco Rubio.”
Once Republicans regain power, they must avoid overreaching, as happened when Newt Gingrich was speaker and when Obama entered the White House, Keene says.
“They have to avoid getting ahead of their supply line, or they are going to get cut off, and it is going to be a short-lived majority,” Keene says. Referring to Bill Clinton’s decision to move to the center in his second term, Keene adds, “The other thing that they have to do is hope that Obama isn’t Clinton.”

FS I have seen many Øbots in action. CC does not fit their mold – not by a long shot.

The real Øbots tend to go off the rails. They also say really hateful things about conservatives. A lot of them are sent to conservative cites, and they have a meme which they will cut and paste… some of their memes are rather silly because they will use them on a thread that bears no relevance to their meme. I see this a lot on sites such as Hillbuzz.

The Australian equivalent of the Øbot is a a watermelon. They do similar things as they will get on a conservative site and will repeat their meme over and over again, despite the lack of relevance to the topic. They also attack the blog owner. This is also something that they have in common with the Øbot.

The more sickening aspect of the Øbot has been the crowing after the Presidential election. The crowed about the demise of the conservative movement. The watermelons do the same thing here in Australia. They are quite sickening.

Another way of detecting the Øbama is the use of statements like “give him time, you will see”. They tend to be starry-eyed in their hype. The older white women Øbots (I have seen these close up and personal) tend to be starry-eyed as well. They cannot see that their hero is not who he claims. They believe that everything is the fault of George Bush. They refuse to see that their hero is nothing more than a shadow figure.

CC does not fit any of these descriptions of the Øbot. Far from it, CC will challenge your statements and postings about the GoM, but from the point of view that he is saying that the sources such as Alex Jones are not credible. I tend to agree that some of those sources lack credibility and that what they say should be taken with a grain of salt.

In fact I do not agree with those conspiracy theory people who make the claim that there was a planned explosion on the oil rig. People cannot make up their minds on whether this was the work of Øbama or of the evil George Bush. I think that there is a more logical explanation, since the trouble with the Macondo (sp) well was evident in February, I think that there is a probability that the earthquake that hit Haiti had something to do with what took place. However, even that is not the full story because BP did cut corners.

Rather than being the person behind the explosion, what I see is that Øbama had no clue with regard to what was required in order to prevent a disaster (the kindest viewpoint) or that he saw fit to use the situation as a means of shutting down oil production in order to help bring the USA to its knees. For me, it is the aftermath of the explosion that needs to be investigated on top of any investigation into the explosion.

News just on the wires that the United States will issue a travel advisory warning Americans to stay away from crowded places frequented by Westerners in Europe. I shit you not. Talk about cowardice and surrendering to terrorism. We laughed when we derided the French several years as a frightened band of cowering primates (the precise term was “surrender monkey”). But now it is Barack Obama and his pathetic National Security Team.
This decision was made late yesterday at an NSC meeting presided over by former CIA hack, John Brennan. Brennan, if you recall, failed to properly and accurately count the number of terrorist attacks in 2003 when he was running the Terrorist Threat Integration Center. (Read it here.) Brennan was a fuck up when he worked for George W. Bush and he is a bigger fucker upper now.
Here’s the situation. The United States intelligence community, CIA specifically, has acquired information from a source believed to be reliable who is reporting in a very general fashion that followers of Bin Laden are keen on attacking hotels and tourist spots in Europe. But, once you get pass the scary warning of generic mayhem, there are no specifics about when, where or how.
Brennan, who is in charge of the counter terrorism portfolio, has failed big time in carrying out his responsibility on this issue. How? Read the rest

    More giggleworthy snot.

Do you LIKE tilting at windmills of your own design?
Do you ENJOY “playing with yourself”?

    Let’s recap:

    repeatedly bashed “birthers,”

I have only stated that nobody important cares about NBC and that NBC alone will not bring down Obama. That is an opinion of a practical nature and in no way indicates my wish, nor smear any “birther”.

    repeatedly bashed “truthers”

Absolutely, and so does everybody else with any sense, so, what is the point? and how does it relate to Obama?

    repeatedly bashed “Grand Jurors”

Never once, why would I? What would be the point?

    repeatedly bashed “Conservative SCOTUS Justices”

I have simply pointed that passing over a half dozen chances to do the right think is predictive of their future actions. I seems like simple logic. I don’t see how this could be called ‘bashing’.

stated that “bo would never be brought to justice,” that “bo would escape to Africa and become a god,”

I have never stated that Zero should not be brought to justice. I have further stated that if what I think is currently true and found so in a court of law, then prison was not sufficient, only swinging like Hussein. I am guilty of saying that Zero has enough raw power at his instant disposal that he could easily escape to Africa or Indonesia. And yes I have said that there are still enough Obamamaniacs that the Obamamessiah should have no trouble forming a cult. Obviously not a desirable outcome, but I fail to understand how predicting a very likely outcome causes me to be one of the worshipers

that “75% of the oil spill was gone,”

I have never said this and have repeatedly repudiated same.

that “the economy has been revived by bo.”

I write frequently on Economy and might be the most knowledgeable on this subject on this blog. I have discussed the Economic Crisis numerous times here and often referred to a large essay I am writing that summarizes how we got here from Grave Mistakes made as early as 1900. Zero is the single worst thing to happen to the economy in history, period. Only a fiend would think I ever say or think about Zero making anything better even temporarily. Although I did write a piece recently in which I expressed that a massive economic improvement (perhaps funded by Soros or some such) in late 2012 would put some wind beneath Zero’s wings. And I was very afraid of that.

How, sir, does making patently false and lunatic statements help your cause in any way – or even remotely show me as a “fool”.

Obot Carlyle’s position is the same as bo’s

    ========================================

I am not aware of Zero ever proposing to repeal an amendment.

Further my original statement was to “unwind bad court decisions”. A specific example might be Roe v. Wade. But there are dozens of other examples. Then I further stated that some current amendments are “anti constitutional” in that they violate the very spirit of the original constitution. Two that I think need to be reviewed include:

#16 – It is well known that our current Income Tax scheme has many legal and constitutional problems. This needs to be fixed.

#17 – The “mob rule” election of Senators is a travesty to a Federation of States. There is no reason for it and it has significantly corrupted the Senate and undermined States Rights. The House is the people’s house, the Senate is the state’s house.

I further realize that “opening up the constitution” for ANY REASON AT ALL is a potential powder keg. From that point of view, ANY proposed amendment or repeal needs to be approached and considered with great care.

These seem like reasonable sentiments of a Patriot and not even remotely like what Zero would say or do.

On the other hand going around lying and making malicious statements seems terribly zero-like.

Those bad court decisions, and Roe vs Wade being one of many go back to at least the 1930s when FDR was President. Whilst the first Agricultural Act was struck down because of the Commerce Clause, the second Agricultural Act was not struck down.

This particular Act was the means by which the Feds were able to control primary production.

There are plenty of other examples. However, let us not overlook that the current SCOTUS has made some inroads. This is why Citizens United was such an important decision. It reversed the decisions of two other cases (much to the disgust of the party hack Stephens).

I am assuming that with the Roberts Court there will continue to be a willingness to strike down more of these bad decisions. It is coming… a little bit at a time. However, I am not sure if Kagan and Sotomeyer will have any influence. Both are junior judges and in Kagan’s case she has no experience for her role!!

[Bo] once said that the Bill of Rights were a codification of “negative liberties,” which is one of the most if not the MOST IDIOTIC STATEMENT ever made by bo.

    =========================================

Well, let’s see dear petulant princess, this may be your death blow. And misunderstanding of a “term of art” by a lawyer also. This is beyond pathetic.

First of all, even without understanding this term, you must realize that Zero made a strong statement he dislikes the constitution, and/or the constitution was incomplete, because all it was was a bunch of Negative Liberties.

So, right away that should tell you that regardless of the sound of the name, that “negative liberties” must be a darn fine thing. If Zero doesn’t like it, pretty sure I’m going to like it a lot.

Further this ties directly into a VERY HOT current controversy – and you have come down flat on the wrong side.

    Let’s review:

    1. The constitution enumerates a number of God-given rights. The constitution does not itself give rights. The government does not give rights. This is a hint about what a Negative Right is.

    2. The Bill of Rights very specifically, and other parts of the Constitution rather generally, specify that [NOW PAY ATTENTION] the government cannot take away, whittle away, or otherwise infringe on these rights.

THAT is a very essence and core meaning of a Negative Liberty. That is what Zero does not like. He wants the government to bestow rights – Positive Rights – not “the creator” [REMEMBER, HE HAS BEEN LEAVING THAT OUT LATELY].

Zero would have the 2nd amendment specify the Positive Liberty that the government has the right to control guns and the right to bestow/withhold rights of gun owners. The constitutional 2nd amendment specifies the Negative Liberty that the government cannot mess with my guns.

Now, my patriot friends – given a choice of Zero’s preferred Positive Liberties or my preference and the constitution’s intent of Negative Liberties – which would you choose?

Compared with before – I am now hoping that you be permanently banned from this blog. This post is outrageous beyond the pale. Contrary to Paxson’s assertion the other day – you are not only not useful to this blog – you are detrimental to everything this blog stands for.

I said recently that by engaging and dialoging with people, they eventually reveal themselves. Well, this time you have screwed up, screwed up big. You have stepped in the cowpie of death. There is no longer any GFS or BFS. The demon has now full possession.

You, dear readers, can go find a more precise legal definition, and I have only touched on a narrow aspect above, but here is an understandable definition from Wikipedia. Speak up! Do you want a Positive Libertarian among us?

Negative liberty is defined as freedom from interference by other people, and is set in contrast to positive liberty which is defined as an individual’s freedom from inhibitions of the social structure within the society such as classism, sexism or racism and is primarily concerned with the possession of sociological agency. According to Thomas Hobbes, “a free man is he that in those things which by his strength and wit he is able to do is not hindered to do what he hath the will to do” (Leviathan, Ch. XXI, [2], thus alluding to liberty in its negative sense.

The distinction between negative and positive liberty was drawn by Isaiah Berlin in his lecture “Two Concepts of Liberty.” According to Berlin, the distinction is deeply embedded in the political tradition. The notion of negative liberty is associated with British philosophers such as Locke, Hobbes, Adam Smith, and Jeremy Bentham and positive liberty with continental thinkers, such as Hegel, Rousseau, Herder, and Marx.

You can see Negative Liberty is all about individual and economic freedom. Positive Liberty – as a government ideal – is all about “Social Justice”, distribution of wealth, and economic slavery.

I agree. And I am much gladder to have some “conservative judges” than a whole court full of lunatics. I know they have made some minor inroads and I hope for in number and more in impact.

But I still “know” they have signaled loud and clear that they will not touch the eligibility issue. If nothing else, from a legal standpoint, they could not stand the criticism of “why wait til now?” That would almost certainly bring cries for impeachment. They shot themselves in the foot many months ago. That is now part of the fabric of what they have to work with.

You miss the point with both your article and your whining now. Whether or not a case is poorly written or offcenter has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING.

The USSC has the power to hear what they want. Hell, they could even CREATE a case and hear it. The statements of “bring us a case and we will consider it” are totally disingenuous.

For something as IMPORTANT as the very eligibility of the POTUS, they should have and could have moved hell and high water to resolve this issue. They can process any case they want. They are not required to deny them because they aren’t perfect.

They don’t deny these cases because they have to. They deny these cases because the want to. That is why I am so sure they will not hear a case. If they wanted to – they would have done so already.

It is not illegal for them to deny an important case like this – so that cannot be impeached or otherwise prosecuted or persecuted. But it is GROSSLY IMMORAL for them to deny these cases. It is a SELL OUT TO THE DEVIL, and turning their backs on the American People.

It is as simple as that. No BS about perfect cases, or original jurisdiction, or standing, or CJG’s is going to fix that. The have flipped us off. Period. Simple.

The news item made a number of statements that indicated the bias of the writer. Things like : illegally imprisoned… er no.. she was arrested for a reason.

Although I have never, ever been to Israel, a member of my family has been there on Defence business. What I can tell people is that the Israelis are very, very strict about what is brought into the country. All luggage is searched and that is prior to boarding an aircraft to enter Israel from Greece.

If the woman was arrested then she must have had something in her possesion that caused the Israelis to be concerned about her. If it was not something that was in her possession, then her involvement in the attempts to break the blockade to the Gaza strip where normal aid is not required, might have been the reason for the arrest.

I do not blame the Israelis at all. I saw the video clips concerning what took place and those Muslim terrorists on board that ship were ready to fight to the death. They were ready to kill. They knew exactly what they were doing prior to the Israeli boarding. This was an attempt at blood libel. It seems to be working because there are useful idiots who believe the story that the Israelis were the baddies… er no…

What is wrong with people that they willingly support communists like Ayers and Dorhn, as well as Code Pink and others who helped to finance that whole shebang?

I wish these guys godspeed and all luck.

But I don’t see any evidence it is more than several people, or else just weak support from bloggers or people who sign petitions. I see no “action”. Perhaps if thousands of officers refused to deploy, that would get someone’s attention.

Also, they are barking up the wrong tree. Judge Lind made two “fatal” decisions. The first was denying discovery. This group of people are proposing dropping the case requiring discovery and redoing their approach to use already available facts. This is unlikely to work for many reasons that I have documented before – relative to the “arcaneness” of the concept of NBC.

And they totally ignore the second and more “fatal” of the two roadblocks. As long as the judges assertion that “orders come from the pentagon not the president” is in-play, they have NO CASE OF ANY KIND.

So they are just wasting a lot of ink. As far as I can tell, the Government through chicanery has this one signed sealed and delivered.

Michelle, the question of why the Germans fell for the rhetoric of Hitler is one of life’s mysteries. One possible reason for that situation was given by Alice Miller, a German psychologist.

Basically, it came down to upbringing reaching back into the 19th century. At the time the upbringing was really quite harsh. Hitler spoke words to the people and those words struck a chord.

I think that it is a lot more than just their upbringing because Hitler rose to power at a time when the German economy was hurting very much. Germany had a period of hyperinflation, where even the cost of a stamp was astronomical. Somewhere in my stamp collection there are German stamps from that period and they are for millions of Deutschemarks!! The Germans had lost in a world war, and they were forced to pay out large reparations. All of this hurt the German economy. It also meant that Germany was ripe for someone like Hitler.

Keep in mind that Hitler was indeed a Communist. Fascism is yet another side of Socialism or Communism. There is little difference between their ideologies since both ultimately result in the State having power over everybody.
Also keep in mind that before Hitler killed the Jews that he exterminated the sick as well as those “lesser human beings” within the German community. They were taken to the hospitals and gassed.

  177. Aussie @ 12:42 am |
I heard the other day on the news Germany had made the last war reparation payment from the Treaty of Versailles WW1.
My mom told me about the hyperinflation, which must have come from her mother’s relatives in the Old Country of Germany, something about a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread. The reparations from the Treaty of Versailles were so harsh that Hitler used that to his advantage and told the proud Germans to throw them off-and they he started with the scapegoat victims everybody and anybody that could/would not benefit his state, his regime, his insanity. The Germans traded one cruel master for a worse cruel master. He murdered 12 million people in the concentration camps alone, 6 million Jewish people who were targeted for extinction, Poles were next on his list of sub-humans-old people, mentally deficient, on and on the list went, in the end he would have included everybody.

I dig very much what OldSalt was saying on this particular post. He mentioned an atomic test and how years later members of the crew ended up with cancers.

This is precisely my point about the Maralinga tests here in Australia. The enlisted men and officers were told to turn their backs and they had no proper protection from the radiation. Many of them ended up with various forms of cancers.

This to me is one reason I remain very concerned about the use of corexit in the GoM, especially in such large quantities. Also, it is a reason why I feel concern that there was a lack of proper protection clothing for those engaged in the clean-up. This is over and above the risks to the residents of the region.

  180. Michelle | October 3, 2010 at 12:52 am |
Michelle, yes the reparations were that harsh, and yes it made Germany ripe for someone with the devious mind of Hitler.

A lot of people were sympatico with Hitler because somehow he struck a chord with them. It could have been as a result of discipline issues, the need and the desire to conform. However, the hyperinflation was definitely a part of the bigger picture.

The British economist John Maynard Keynes, otherwise known as Lord Keynes was an observer of these things, and he was one who disagreed with the Treaty of Versailles. This is why, prior to the end of the 2nd World War, Lord Keynes came to the USA and negotiated the agreements at Bretton Woods. These negotiations led to the setting up of the IMF and the World Bank. Now I know that people are against both the IMF and the World Bank and for good reason, but as one who has not believed in the fears of NWO in the past I see these institutions in a slightly different light (at least with regard to the reasons that they were set up in the first place).

If lessons had been learned from the post world war 1 period, then those lessons learned seem to be related to that of reparations. There was no repeat. Instead the USA instituted the Marshall Plan, which led to an invigorated industrial Germany.

Today, however, I see that there is little need for the United Nations, the World Bank and the IMF in their current format. I do think that there remains a role, but not if it is going to lead to the use of these institutions as means of introducing Marxism on a global level.

Somehow somewhere there has to be a “line” which must not be crossed. Doesn’t there? But where is it? What is it? Is it absolute? Is it only there when you are winning? But if you have to violate it as the only way to keep from losing, is that OK?

It just gets too murky to figure out. Is “sacrificing” a 100 soldiers to test or perfect a weapon that will save millions of lives any morally different than “sacrificing” 100 soldiers to capture a strategic objective?

I don’t know. How do you tell. We ask out commanders and officers to play god – and then want to complain on how they do it.

Looking back like this is even worse. Could we have done it differently and still had the same outcome? Was the outcome THAT important – so as to justify something THAT heinous. I don’t know. How do you tell.

So, yes, Corexit is in some ways like Agent Orange. But I think also different. We have the technology, we have the money, and we have the time. We should ensure the most and best possible protection for the workers. There is not the same necessity as there might be in a war to “cover things up”. We need to be careful and deliberate. We need a strong quest for truth. And as opposed to war where I say the public might not have a right to know everything, in this case, everything should be totally open and transparent.

What about the righteous theory that if a country starts a war of aggression and expansion – that if they lose, then the country is totally obliterated physically and economically, and the spoils divided among the victors?

If that had happened after WWI, there would never have been a WWII.

    Something to think about.

  184. Citizen Carlyle (FUBO) | October 3, 2010 at 1:39 am |
Are you referring to Bismark? The unification of Germany in the late nineteenth century (which was the reason that my great-grandfather migrated from Saxony to Australia) seems to have been the catalyst for German expansion.

I am no student of war history. I only know a few things, and one angle is that the first world war was due to trade etc. I have never quite swallowed that line of thinking. There seems to be too many other factors. Plus I have no clear understanding as to why Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, yet it was the shot that started the first world war. I do not understand why the Turks took the side of the Germans. Neither do I understand the politics of the Balkans.

What I do know is that the reparations were one big mistake. What I do know is that the Treaty of Versaille was too harsh and that the harshness led to the situation of hyperinflation in Germany. What I do know is that there was a world wide collapse in the capital markets that eventually led to the Great Depression. What I do know is that the remdies used, especially in the USA led to the prolongation of that Depression. What I do know is that here in Australia the remedies led to the creation of the Commonwealth bank, and that overall we came out of the situation with better controls over the banking sector than elsewhere in the world.

Also, I am very much aware that the Germans came very close to Australia during the first world war and that they had gained access to Papua New Guinea. The other side of the island is West Irian (think that is the correct name) which belongs to Indonesia.

Yes, I love that prayer, Michelle. As a Catholic you’ve heard this version a million times… Iknow what Sinead did to the Pope’s (John Paul) many years ago…But loved her version of the song.

  186. this post explains the intelligence reports and the travel warning in Europe:

Looks like they want a Mumbai style massacre in Europe. It also looks like France, Paris perhaps is one of the targets.

  187. Paxson | October 3, 2010 at 2:25 am |
Actually, as a Catholic I do not like her version. Have you heard the Aled Jones version? It is far better.

In my old parish we used to sing this hymn quite a lot. I think that is why I do not like the Sinnead O’Connor version… to me it is just not up to scratch.

  188. Aussie | October 3, 2010 at 3:06 am |

I’ll check it out, mate.. I just like Sinnead’s voice, I guess… was randomly looking for songs and found it…trying to put my brain on the shelf for a night…

Did you see that “One Nation” rally today in D.C. ? The reports in the media are few and far between here in the states… A radio talk show host by the name of Ed Schultz talked down the Beck/Palin deal and said that they could easily match their numbers or better….What a joke. What turnout that they did have were probably all paid a wage to attend. Our country has become such a farce.

It seems that the professor pinheads at the University of Illinois, Chicago are upset because their favourite bomber and murderer was not granted his emeritus professor status. Of course that is thanks to the son of the late Senator Robert Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, who spoke out against granting the request.

I salute Christopher Kennedy for his courage in speaking out against the terrorist William Ayers.

Paxson the rally has not received any coverage in Australia.

We usually have our own Mayday rallies – yuk……

Anyway, I have checked some of the reports around the net. It got nowhere near the crowd at the Beck rally 🙂

One good thing that has come out of the Beck rally has been a change in a person who is gay, and who has been quite a lot over the years. He is a political operative who put in a lot of hours promoting Hillary. He is dedicated to helping Sarah Palin run for President.

This man was raised as a Catholic. The nuns did a really good job with him. Over this past year I have seen him grow in his faith again. He is not going to Mass or anything like that, but he has grown.

  193. Aussie………………………………………………
I was one of a number of Navy personell who were assigned to a support role in Operation Castle. (Task Group 7.3). This was the name of the 1954 Eniwetok H bomb test series. (6 shots,) which included the infamous BRAVO test, which spewed highly radioactive Cesium 137 over a 7000 sq.mile area of the Central Pacific.(Marshall Islands, Micronesia). Several tribes of Polynesian occupants of inhabited islands had to be moved to other islands and resettled. This was at a cost of multiple millions of dollars. The cost still continues even today.
The Bravo shot was supposed to be a 7 megaton yeild. Unbeknownst to anyone a young physicist made a minor change in the refinement process of the nuclear fuel, but failed tell anyone about it. The same material was utilised in the BRAVO bomb. I watched the detonation from a distance of 40 miles. Over water there is nothing to impede or in any way to diminish the intensity of the shock wave. The shock wave was clearly visible as it approached the ship I was standing on. Even at 40 miles the strength of the shock wave was substantial. The detonation turned out to have a yeild of 15 megatons. .A differrent positioning of observation ships would have been necessary for a 15 megaton device. The observation ships were positioned for the 7 megaton yeild. Sadly several of the ships received heavy concentrations of ionising radiation in the form of Cesium 137. This element has a potential half life of over 50 years. The USS Bairoko CVE 115 received extremely heavy concentrations of the fallout. The crew tried valiantly to scrub the ship down ,but they were unable to bring the radiation down to a safe level. It was soon obvious that scrubbing was not going to work where this carrier was concerned. She was put in “cold iron “status, the crew removed and was towed back to Bremerton WA, where it was drydocked, and sand blasted completely, and completely repainted. In spite of all of this the residual radiation was still slightly elevated over the normal atmospheric radiation, but the Navy accepted this as safe. Several of the crew subsequently passed away before their respective 50th birthdays. They died from multiple carcinomas within their systems. There are now twenty three known forms of cancer that are recognised as possible after being exposed to the ionising gamma ray radiation from the Cesium 137. The BRAVO detonation also removed one atoll and left a 75’deep hole in the lagoon floor where the atoll had been. The enormity of the accident caused a substantial shake up of Navy brass, and also at Oak Ridge Tennessee where the device was originally built.
Interestingly the ionising radiation ,even in relatively small doses of 50 milli Roentgens is capable of breaking down the human DNA strand. When this occurs it inevitably leads to cancerous growths in the human system. When the DNA strand is broken it can no longer produce exact copies of our cells. This leads to the cancers.

@CC rather than being afraid, I think that these people are clueless. I did read a portion of the article. One of the congressmen synthesized the requirement to being an American citizen…

Buzz… WRONG ANSWER to Bozo the Congressman.

If he knew what is actually stated… the requirement is NATURAL BORN Citizen. It is a requirement of a very high order. I know what it means – that the person must be born to citizen parents.

I also disagreed with the writer of another P&E article because he made the claim that citizenship comes through the father. However that is not what according to Vattel’s “Law of Nations”. It must be through mother and father.

These clueless Congressmen and Senators do not seem to understand the nature of NATURAL BORN since they like to water it down to something quite ordinary.

They cannot comprehend that regardless of whether Øbama is born in Hawaii or not, he cannot be NBC because his father was not a citizen of the USA. These Congressmen have not dealt with the issue.

Blanche Lincoln also gets the prize for being dumb in her reply. She referred to the various court cases being dismissed. However, she failed to mention that they were not dismissed on their merits but on the trumped up “standing”. Who has standing? It seems that not one of the justices that have dismissed these cases have even successfully defined what they mean by standing. Since the cases have not been heard because they were dismissed on a technicality, I would suggest that Blanche Lincoln was being a real smart A in her response, which was not very smart.

The COLB is not a birth certificate – not even in my country is that document a legally recognized document. By this I mean that I can get an “extract” of my birth certificate but this is not acceptable for the purpose of obtaining a passport. It is totally inadequate. Ditto with regard to the marriage certificate. What I have was not sufficient. We had to obtain a copy of the registry document for legal purposes (to get a passport).

The only way this can be resolved is for a judge to hear a case, for for the COLB to be presented in a court of law to see if it is acceptable. The Kenyan certificate should also be presented and both should be held up for certification. It is the only way that the issue can be resolved.

On the other hand, these Congressmen need to get a grip. They need to learn what the Constitution actually states. They need to look at the presented facts: Øbama’s father was a Kenyan, a British citizen. That means that British citizenship was passed on to Øbama and as such he was at the very least a dual citizen and that makes him ineligible to be POTUS.

Regardless, it is the other documents that need to be seen. Why is it that his school records are hidden. Even I have to present my university records when applying for a new position. In fact I had to get a record from the University of Melbourne outlining the subjects taken and certifying that I am qualified as a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce. So why is it that these records are being withheld for the man who is holding the highest office in the USA?

  195. I am relieved to read that Lakin has obtained new defense consul. If Puckett is half as good as his reputation seems to imply he probably would be a better rep for LTC Lakin. He appears to have a more intricate knowledge in how to defend within the UCMJ. Now all we need is a change of venue, and JUDGE. A nice thought, but NOT VERY LIKELY to happen.

  196. …………..I also hope that a strategy is developed that includes OFFENSE. To be defensive one MUST be offensive.

  197. @OLDSALT,
thank you for the explanation. This was as bad if not worse than what took place at Maralinga here in Australia. The airmen and soldiers involved were told to turn their backs on the blast.

It is a similar story about the cancers, except that those involved had to fight to get just compensation. Like I said, I did get to meet some of them during their time of struggle.

I really am sorry to hear about this “accident” and I do feel for those families who lost their loved ones at too early an age.

Why are no Republican conservative talk show hosts mentioning the eligibility issue and in fact going along with the liberals in accusing us of being “nutcases” and “Birthers”? Read the following –

Thursday, March 13, 2008 (Notice the date)

SPECIAL ‘CLOSED SESSION’ OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISCUSSED A LOT MORE THAN THE PENDING SECURITY SURVEILLANCE PROVISIONS!

This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed its doors to the public. What was it that they were discussing that they do NOT
    want us to know about?

I believe the most important discussion had to do with the eligibility of BOTH CANDIDATES. Both parties had questionable areas and time was of essence. BOTH PARTIES ARE IN THIS UP TO THEIR EYEBALLS.

    continued ..

    1. the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,

    2. the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009,

    3. the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse,

    4. advance round-ups of ‘insurgent U.S. citizens’ likely to move against the government,

    5. the detention of those rounded-up at ‘REX 84’ camps *(see Below) constructed throughout the USA,

    6. the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,

    7. the location of ‘safe facilities’ for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest,

    8. the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool),

    9. the issuance of a new currency – THE AMERO (do a Google search) – for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic Armageddon.

Thank you, this is my first Nazi that I got entagled with when I was just a kid, it was early Sunday morning and our client base was heavily Jewish (many of whom were concentration camp survivors) on the weekends, we were having such a fun morning, all the rooms were packed-big dining room, small dining room, coffee shop all our customers laughing, talking having a good time-normal restaurant noises-all of a sudden dead silence-I asked what is going on-they kept saying he’s here, he’s here, I kept saying who is here, who? then they told me George Lincoln Rockwell OMG did he bring weapons, how am I going to protect all of our customers, I started running down all the hallways trying to find the creep, I passed him in the downstairs hallway as he was leaving-he looked like a garbage man-
George Lincoln Rockwell (March 9, 1918 – August 25, 1967) was a white supremacist and white nationalist activist, and was a major figure in the neo-Nazi.

One of the reasons that the bo regime is falling apart so quickly now is that his former Black and Jewish supporters are learning that bo is the worst sort of racist. His maternal ancestors were SLAVE OWNERS and his fraternal ancestors were SLAVE TRADERS.

    Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
    where there is hatred, let me sow love;
    where there is injury, pardon:
    where there is doubt, faith;
    where there is despair, hope
    where there is darkness, light
    where there is sadness, joy
    O divine Master,
    grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
    to be understood, as to understand;
    to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

    Amazing! Absolutely Amazing!……

You must have mind reading capabilities.

Just this early morning (about 5am), I was reviewing the FOIA and contemplating a strategy for a separate FOIA all together. One the several I was jotting notes on, one of the things I asked myself was did the Senate every meet on or around this timeline prior too, if so was it the standard meeting which would have recorded minutes. I also listed for myself to reseach over the next several days rules and procedures if the meeting is held privately. Are minute notes still taken? Are they now no longer classified as public record? Would it require a FOIA? Has any past FOIA ever been sucessful relative to the same request? Ect…

My heart bleeds for anyone subjected to this. As well as for all soldiers who were injured or died by friendly fire, or at the hands of the enemy. All are exactly the same – casualties of war.

The main reasons things get covered up, white washed, or otherwise downplayed is because of public reaction. I wish I knew how to solve that problem. An equal level of disclosure and equal recognition of bravery and heroism is badly needed.

And yes, mistakes are made in war. In all of the above activities equally. Somebody makes a strategic mistake and underestimates the resistance on a strategic hill, more people are killed than expected, it is chalked up to “fog of war”. Other things of equal uncertainty, they want to chalk it up to some overt malfeasance.

WAR IS HELL – IT IS NOT A GAME –

That is partly right. Contrary to Margie’s continual assertions, “nobody” knows what NBC is. Ask every congressman and senator – I bet not a one of them gets it right. And even if they luck out, they will be hesitant and unsure.

But as regards place of birth, school records, passport history, and current citizenship status there is no excuse of ignorance. There is only fear of knowing the truth and fear of the aftermath of knowing the truth. “Don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to.”

A position of strength is not generated by the mind,or action of ONE enlightened individual. Rather a position of strength is the product of the complete unification of mind, body, and heart of a group of people. If you wish to move the immoveable, you do it with intelligently applied offensive force, en masse. This has long been an axiom which has been in the thoughts of our finest field commanders. (Eisenhower,Patton,Bradley)etc. Unfortunately no earthly being has the notoriety of being 100% right 100% of the time. Our finest field commanders as well as the POTUS have all made the mistake of being human at one point in time or another. Humans do make mistakes, and they sometimes end up being the cause of the death of thousands of people, and the cause of extreme property destruction. This all tells me that there is only one spirit who is right 100 % of the time…………he is called GOD.

A related thought, however – No individual can do this alone (not even Hercules) – but it doesn’t take too many people who lie, who spout disinformation, or non-facts, to severely cripple such an offensive.

We have not been proactively policing ourselves, and so far it does not look like CWs new memo is working very well.
