With polls showing significant GOP momentum this fall, Republicans in recent weeks began to believe they had a real chance of retaking control of the Senate in November. But a major primary upset at the hands of a tea party insurgent on Tuesday may have put the Senate GOP’s dreams of a majority at serious risk.
But with O’Donnell’s come-from-nowhere win Tuesday night, top Republicans in Washington now see virtually no chance the GOP will be able to pick up the Delaware seat this fall. As a result, they admit their already slim chance of winning back Republican control of the Senate is likely dead.
Mark Levin: “The possibility of impeachment does not immunize the president from criminal prosecution. He remains, at all times, a citizen of the United States who is answerable to the law.”
Our Founding Fathers never intended for us to be lorded over by corrupt criminals in the White House and Congress. To the contrary, our Founding Fathers intended for We the People to have control over our Government and our politicians.
That is one of the primary reasons that they bestowed upon us that extraordinary Bill of Rights which provided for the Grand Jury System controlled by the people not the politicians.
In our Founding Fathers’ prescient wisdom, they designed a Grand Jury System in which no man, not even the President of the United States, is above the Law.
For information on forming a Secret Grand Jury to investigate crimes go here:

If the Republicans are correct and they will not take the Senate, there will be no impeachment of bo and We the People will have to get Grand Jury Indictments of bo in order to have him legally removed.

Republicans are just trying to save their own asses from being replaced by representatives of the people. Some of those republicans are just as worthless as democrats. The fact that none of them stood up for the Constitution, and the people, even after they were notified about Obama’s lack of eligibility is enough to have them all arrested for treason, and they think they are untitled to be re-elected. i see GOP taking all these states AND taking majority of Senate in NOV.
California
Colorado
Illinois
Nevada
Washington
Wisconsin
Alaska
Missouri
Florida
New Hampshire
Ohio
Delaware
Pennsylvania Iowa
Kentucky
Louisiana
North Carolina
Arkansas
Indiana>>>the only states that dems keep are west virginia, connecticut, new york, and oregon. doing the math it’s now 60-40. So there are 23 seats up for grab, GOP moves 19 and DEM take 4. So that puts the senate at 52-48 GOP -DEM

===============================================
NEVER.
I’m an Independent so I am not about to defend the republicans, but this dissension in the republican ranks is not helping their chances of gaining control in congress. As I have always contended unless there is a strong conservative majority in congress, bo will not be legally removed by congress. If they gain control of the house they may bring impeachment proceeding to pretend to be doing the right thing, but as with President Clinton, the Senate will not vote to remove bo from office.
As I have always contended, if we the people want bo legally removed we will have to take action ourselves via the Grand Jury Process.

Michelle Malkin also reports that RINO Castle won’t back O’Donnell. Just like the NY special election, the RINOs are sore losers and show their true colors after losing by backing Dems.
That’s fine…we need to purge the party and put people reps in where ever we can even if it means losing in some races. Besides I’m not sure taking control of both the House and Senate will be helpful at this point. If they were to do that, Obama still has the veto and the public with blame the Rep party when the worst of Obama’s policies kick in and vote Obama and more Dems back into Congress during the 2012 elections.
As long as the Repubs take control of the House, they can block Obama and not be accused of controlling all Congress which would be the media story line.

Update: Kevin McCullough agrees:
Mike Castle, if he is a man of loyalty to the party he wished to represent should hold fundraisers for O’Donnell beginning next week. Lisa Murkowski should follow suit in Alaska for Joel Miller. And Sue Bowden should be doing the same for Sharron Angle in Nevada.
In other words if “establishment” candidates are willing to give anything more than lip service to the party they wished to represent, then they should be willing to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work of campaigning for someone they disagree with on issues. And they should do so remembering they are in it for the greater good. …
We were told that in the end having a majority with an (R) after their name was the best thing of all. Well, I see no reason why that statement can’t hold true when a genuine Republican conservative wins a primary.

I don’t know if you heard Glenn Beck’s radio show but he asked his guest if he supports the birther issue. If that’s the evidence they use we need to find someone that had a birth announcement placed by someone in a city other than the city the person was born. Like a person born in St Louis had a grand parent place a notice in a Kansas City newspaper. Send that to Beck and see where he stands. Not to mention the obvious dual citizenship part

This makes sense to me. There is one thing for sure, if the Repubs gain control of BOTH Houses, the Dems will go heavy on blame before the 1012 election. And there will be plenty of things to blame on someone after Obamacare kicks in with greater force, as well as the continually failing economy and build-up of massive debt. If “good” people would break their longstanding relationship with the Democratic Party and stop clinging to what once was, all that would be left would be extreme leftists in their Party. If these good people can’t restore their Party then they should walk away and leave it for what it has become – a failed, socialistic-bent force that is a scourge to America.

The Republicans could win this Blame Game by preempting such nonsense. They could use their new bully pulpit to relentlessly explain things to The People. They could use their power as committee chairman to investigate, subpoena, and expose all Democrat corruption.
But they won’t. First, they are pansies, second, they falsely think they get some traction for taking the high moral ground (contrary to Arthurian legend, the most brutal always wins a hand-to-hand combat, not the pure heart), third, they fear payback at some later time when the pendulum swings.
Meantime, the Republican Leadership is clearly worried about the Tea Party Movement. While claiming independence, and party agnosticism, the Tea Party is diluting the Republicans far more than the Democrats.
I lean more to the “pure in heart” and “high moral ground” school, but I am also, in occasional lucid moments, a pragmaticist. If I have a choice between an ideal candidate and a RINO, and voting for the RINO will ensure defeat of the Wicked Witch of the West – what is the right vote?
And as I noted above, PIH and HMG are really good ways to get overrun by barbarians. SIGH.

LM @ 9:28 am | re: our Judeo-Christian heritage-I’m from the Roman Catholic segment, so I have a prayer for Mr. Obama and all corrupt minions throughout our country. Mother Mary said all you have to do is ask, so I asked.
A Prayer to Our Lady, Queen of Angels,
For Protection
A Bernardine Sister was shown in spirit the vast desolation caused by the devil throughout the world. At the same time, she heard the Blessed Virgin telling her it was true, Hell had been let loose upon the earth, and that the time had come to pray to her as Queen of Angels and to ask of her the assistance of the Heavenly Legions to fight against these deadly foes of God and of men.
“But, my good Mother,” she replied, “you who are so kind, could you not send them without our asking?”
“No,” Our Lady answered, “because prayer is one of the conditions required by God Himself for obtaining favors.”
Then the Blessed Virgin communicated the following prayer, bidding her to have it printed and distribute it gratis.
PRAYER
August Queen of Heaven, sovereign Mistress of the Angels, who didst receive from the beginning the mission and the power to crush the serpent’s head, we beseech thee to send thy holy angels, that under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks, and drive them hence into the abyss of woe.
Most holy Mother, send thy angels to defend us and to drive the cruel enemy from us.
All ye holy angels and archangel, help and defend us. Amen.
O good and tender Mother! Thou shalt ever be our Love and our Hope.
Holy Angels and Archangels, keep and defend us. Amen

Ah, yes. This seems to be the driving force in politics most of the time. Isn’t that mainly the reason that most of the Repubs won’t touch the eligibility issue? There are other peripheral reasons, of course, but a politician (not a statesman) must always think of the impact of his/her actions on his future career. This, frankly, stinks in my book.
A true statesman (what in the world is that?) puts his country above his career. Wow-ee – That has become a forgotten concept! (weep)
And, if that does not get his attention, maybe I will try this:
Remember Van Jones? He was not removed over Sex or Drugs. He was not removed because he is a Rabid Communist or because he is an Extreme Eco-Terrorist. He was removed for the simple and precise reason of being a TRUTHER.
Even Soetoro/Obama who routinely and gleefully throws atom bombs at GWB, can’t go near this one with a straight face. Do you understand the implication of that? Even Soetoro/Obama knows truthers are nuts and will DRAG HIM DOWN.
Truthers are the inevitable and last and final EVIL INCARNATION of Bush Derangement Syndrome. It is what you get when you combine insanity with hyper-ventilation. These people belong in the dark far corners of old-fashioned “sanitariums”. And you have associated US with THEM? If God or Jesus told you to do this – it now makes me suspect that all your other ‘messages’ and ‘visions’ are hallucinations also. You are now dangerously close to being that false prophet we were warned of – speaking many true things to lull the believers, then spewing darkness and evil when we are most vulnerable.

3. A “message” and a “signal” – a show of solidarity with the Muslims – during this particular period of High Muslim Tensions.
Perhaps more importantly, regardless of actual facts, do you think Muslims around the world will notice and what will THEY think? It is kind of like all the Islam symbology Zero has subtly surrounded himself with since the beginning. The things he does are very close but not an exact match to specific Islam iconography. In the Aug. 5, 2010 Shelby County Tennessee election, multiple vote databases were in use at various times throughout the election, each recording different and sometimes conflicting actions by election administrators.
A primary rule in elections is that there should be only one database in use to record each step of an election from its initial setup through the counting of the votes, just as a primary rule in accounting is that there should only be one set of books to record financial transactions.
In this election, however, that basic and important rule was violated. The GEMS election database is the formal accounting system for Shelby County votes. Shelby County incorrectly implements GEMS election accounting procedures in several ways.
1. SHELBY COUNTY USED TWO DIFFERENT ELECTION DATABASES SIMULTANEOUSLY DURING THE AUG. 2010 ELECTION, SOMETIMES TRANSFERRING DATA FROM ONE TO THE OTHER, SOMETIMES HIDING THE DATA FROM THE PUBLIC ALTOGETHER.
Audit logs in 19 election databases show activity while the election was taking place. Fifteen of these properly show identical events, indicating that they are backups at various points in time. (Photo at link above) ..”

PLAQUEMINES, La. — It’s been a rough summer in some of the waters around Plaquemines Parish — first, hit by the oil spill, and now, hit with fish kills.
“This is an extremely large fish kill, and there are many species in there,” said Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser. “It’s not just one group of fish– it’s redfish and trout and flounder. All species have been identified in this fish kill.”
Plaquemines Parish officials spotted a massive fish kill on Friday. Hundreds of thousands of dead fish were floating west of the Mississippi River, in Bayou Chaland. It came several days after the discovery of starfish kill in nearby Barataria Bay. Then, on Monday, came the discovery of a dead baby whale near Venice
Worst case Scenario: Oil that bo/bp tried to sink is now emerging off coast of Florida according to Scientists at Florida State University:
OMG, FS – that fish kill is horrifying. This kill cannot be blamed on runoff aka non point or point source pollutants. That water is dead meaning a depletion of oxygen. Where is the La Dept of Fisheries? Dept of Environment?

First of all, the veracity of these doomsday videos is in question.
But I did notice a reference to Plaquemines Parish above. That is getting at least close (geographically) to the truth. Just make sure it is from my man, that chubby Cajun, BILLY NUNGESSER, and not some slimey muckraker reporting out of there to appear to clothe himself in credibility. Billy is the guy. He speaks truth.
So La Fisheries is blaming this massive kill on the tide? Give me a break. Why are these professionals being so cagey? They have spokespeople to address the media, so why simply issue a press statement. Could they be under orders to play down such events or has the Gov. placed a gag order? Something is not right here.

I keep hoping that you would adopt a position that is consistent with your apparent sanity on other issues. Here is the absolute, bottom line, God’s Truth on 9/11.
1. Many unanswered questions. More investigation is needed. No people, or results or topics should be off the table.
2. The government has CLEARLY actively and purposefully covered-up and hidden some of the facts. To what extent that is for legitimate national security reasons or part of some CYA is unknown. Among other things, it is quite clear that the government new more than they admit before the attacks.
3. Given the HUGE world-wide significance of this event, the discussion has attracted a large set of government individuals (good people and bad people both), Honest Seekers, Bush Bashers, Lunatic Peace Freaks, and an unusual number of charlatans and chum throwers.
4. It is hard for a person to arrive at a more specific position based on the incontrovertible facts.
In the end, I think that our only real disagreement is what I have bolded in #3 and understanding the impact of that.
May we all arrive at truth someday – – –
CC – I couldn’t agree with your last statement more – may we all arrive at truth someday. I’d love that more than anything else in this world b/c then who knows, rather than living in a world full of hatred and division.

He has maintained strong ties to Donna Brazille of the DNC since the 2000 election cycle and I firmly believe that he is the “architect” of an RNC-DNC quid pro quo deal that allowed Dinglebarry Soetoro & McShame run without protest over eligibility qualifications. This is my observation based on e-mails exchanged with Mr. Rove where he consistently avoided the eligibility issue and insisted Soetoro is a “*native* born citizen”, specifically avoiding the “Natural Born Citizen” language and definition.

I never was an establishment person, more a WE THE PEOPLE kind of person. I like my fellow Americans, the so-called establishment does not have much to be proud of lately.
So, O’Donnell, the people’s pick, takes on the Traitors and Shirkers United Party, huh?
What an excellent example of the fact that the Shirkers are for THEMSELVES and the status quo, NOT for the people and, obviously, NOT against socialism all that much.
They are only against socialism and the dems when their “righteous” rhetoric gives THEMSELVES power.
Let’s see. Here’s the “socialism must be seen to fail at all costs (well, the people’s costs, not the politicians costs)” rationale in action.
Gut the wages of already-strapped, hard-working earners — OK
Vote against a candidate who is against socialism — OK
Vote FOR a candidate who advocates everything you absolutely and eloquently rail against (in front of the voters, anyway) — OK
Hmmmm. What is wrong with this picture?
Poor losers? Nah. The Shirkers are in league with the Traitors. The PEOPLE barely figure into either of their Partry schemes and connivings, except as pawns to be manipulated, deceived, and sold out for the sake of . . . what was it? . . . . oh, yeah . . . . for the greater good of the counrty.
If O’Donnell got enough votes to win the primary, even with all the vote rigging, etc., I’d say she’s got an excellent shot at winning the election.
The alienated dems are voting AGAINST the dems, not FOR repubs. The PEOPLE are voting AGAINST aka obama and everything dem.
Hopefully, repubs will refuse to play their Party’s games any more. The country is at stake!
Btw, the only people who would characterize O’Donnell’s win as “come from nowhere” are the ones who told us a “few thousand” folks showed up at last year’s D.C. Party.

“Voters grabbed their pitchforks Tuesday night and came over the ramparts. The revolution has arrived. Republican primary voters Tuesday night in key contests in Delaware and New Hampshire and New York sent a clear message, in case anyone had missed it up until now: If you are part of the establishment, you better grab your goodies and get out of the castle while you can.
http://www.hillaryis44.org/
“The Tea Party movement has become one of the most powerful and extraordinary movements in recent American political history.
It is as popular as both the Democratic and Republican parties. It is potentially strong enough to elect senators, governors and congressmen. It may even be strong enough to elect the next president of the United States — time will tell.
But the Tea Party movement has been one of the most derided and minimized and, frankly, most disrespected movements in American history. Yet, despite being systematically ignored, belittled, marginalized, and ostracized by political, academic, and media elites, the Tea Party movement has grown stronger and stronger.

I’m sooo confused by your rant…you are more prophetic than the founding fathers>?
Is that not what this is about?? No foreign allegiance may ‘rule’, ‘lead’, or ‘dictate’ here in our America??
Go Paladino!!!
“Carl P. Paladino, a Buffalo multimillionaire who jolted the Republican Party with his bluster and belligerence, rode a wave of disgust with Albany to the nomination for governor of New York on Tuesday, toppling Rick A. Lazio, a former congressman who earned establishment support but inspired little popular enthusiasm. [snip]
“We are mad as hell,” Mr. Paladino said in a halting but exuberant victory speech in Buffalo shortly after 11 p.m. “New Yorkers are fed up. Tonight the ruling class knows. They have seen it now. There is a people’s revolution. The people have had enough.”
Referring to criticism from what he said were liberal elites, he added: “They say I am too blunt. Well, I am, and I don’t apologize for it. They say I am an angry man, and that’s true. We are all angry.”’
Paladino overwhelmingly crushed the Hillary hater Rick Lazio. Lazio was a sure loser to the $24 million dollar bankrolled Andrew Cuomo in New York, the last bastion of Obama Dimocrats (deep blue Massachusetts elected Scott Brown to replace Ted Kennedy and deep blue California leads a Republican resurgence).
“Mr. Paladino’s platform calls for cutting taxes by 10 percent in six months, eliminating cherished public pensions for legislators, and using eminent domain to prevent the construction of a mosque and community center near ground zero. Those proposals could make Mr. Cuomo’s farthest-reaching reform ideas seem meek by comparison.”

I am a real skeptic. Really really skeptic. One of the things about a lot of truthers that troubles me greatly is 1) they are pre-disposed to think that the government lies to them and that anything the government tells them is necessarily false – which actually may be the case – I am not disputing that right now; and 2) that leaves them particularly vulnerable to anybody with a good story that starts their argument with “The government lied to you and I know the truth … “.
There are literally dozens of equally quasi-credible theories about this. The official government explanation is one of those out of many. I agree that the government explanation is at least partly wrong and certainly incomplete. But out of the pile of other explanations, at most, one of them is true and all the others are false. In spite of considerable research and analytical skill my findings are: 1) none of them leaps out as being particularly credible; and 2) everyone of them has at least one charlatan hidden in it somewhere. Admittedly that does not prove it wrong – even a charlatan can be right once in a while – but it does tickle my BS detector.
But – mainly why I wrote this particular post – – –
I started out with a similar skeptical position on the Birther business. But as time goes on, the situation builds. Rather than getting better and getting the wrinkles ironed out, the wrinkles are turning into waves and mountains.
Like with the Truther business, I am reluctant to believe any particular theory about exactly what happened and what is going on. In other words, I do not know the TRUTH yet. But it has become VERY OBVIOUS that something is terribly wrong. Something above and beyond the NBC details that we have laid out in black and white for some time. There is something far deeper and very much more sinister.
I have a very bad feeling about this. My guts tell me that when the truther-truth is known that it will be similar to what is known now, but with some damning things for some particular individuals. On the other hand my guts tell me that when the birther-truth is known, it will be really bad and really bad for a lot of people.
Other than an opportunity for unnecessary and unwarranted Bush Bashing, I think this is what bothers me the most about combining focus. I don’t want the VERY BAD THING diluted with the SORTA BAD THING. Does that make any sense to you at all?

I’m confused about your confusion. Read my post above and see what or who kicked me in the groin today. Then let me know if you still have questions.
I recognize that much is yet to be learned about 9/11 and there is a legitimate need for inquiry and resolution. Many True Seekers are at this position. I further identify a rabid/lunatic wing of the Seekers who I claim are not True Seekers but Bashers instead – there logic is a direct offspring of Bush Derangement Syndrome. This is what essentially everybody means when they use the disparaging term “truther”. I want no part of THAT group. Yet this is the version Rev. Manning seems to have embraced. To wit:
Bottom line:
Asking questions and insisting on the truth – GOOD
Coming to premature insane conclusions – BAD

Everybody – me, you, all of them – belong in one of these categories. Which are you? I choose to place myself in the category of Honest Seeker. Most of the people you mention seem to fit in that category as well. They want to know answers.
Honest Seekers know that the full truth is not available and that there are many unexplained aspects and that more investigation and resolution is needed.
The nicest thing I can say about some of the other people is that they think the truth is already known. An Honest Seeker know that such “sureness” is quite premature.
But if you want to skate on thin and dangerous ice, that is your choice. People (such as yourself?) who like skating on thin dangerous ice are particularly resistant to being dissuaded. You can be one of them or come into the light. It is up to you. You get to choose your own category for yourself.

================================
Let me give you some examples – I’m just freewheeling from memory – but ALL other topics ever brought forward have similar analyses – so this is just a sample.
What about Thermite? Sprinklers? Bldg7, etc?
If all that holds up under serious examination and cross examination – it does not alarm me at all. Who’s to say that the dastardly perpetrators did not have some inside-men on their team? Why does everybody think this indicates anything especially unusual or sinister?
Curiosities about Pentagon “hole”?
Somebody posted a picture the other day of something that looked a lot more like a cigar than an airplane incoming and impacting the Pentagon. Again, I have no idea as to the veracity of the photo. But for the sake of argument, assuming it is very real – Who’s to say but what our own people tried to shoot down a rogue airliner (full of Americans!) with a cruise missile or air-to-air weapon? That would certainly be something they would not want to brag about.
The point being, there are LOTS of possible explanations for EVERY ANOMALY known about – ranging from perfectly reasonable answers to Bush, Cheney, and Mossad orchestrated and conducted the whole thing.
Simply put, there are lots of questions, lots of unexplained details, but NO DEFINITIVE ANSWERS. An Honest Seeker will approach this with an open and enquiring mind. Do you want to be an Honest Seeker or a tool of a charlatan? You have the power to choose for yourself. Do not FOLLOW anybody. NOBODY is to be trusted.
Citizen Carlyle – on a different subject, but one that you may be interested in:
A book entitled,The Roots of Obama’s Rage, by Dinesh D’Souza, will be coming out in about three weeks. He’s the author of the article you read and recommended, and I agree he gets to the core of Ø very well.
I have just finished reading a transcript of the radio interview that Beck did with D’Souza. Beck is VERY impressed with him and his article and then I was shocked – well, sort of.
Here is a short quote: Glenn: “…That America is consuming all of the world’s resources, that America has stolen things from other countries. So this is not a first of all, will you deny the Birther thing?”
D’SOUZA: Absolutely. GLENN: Okay. D’SOUZA: The Birther thing is a diversion. See, Barack Obama was born August 4th, 1961, and he was born in Hawaii. And the reason we know this, the single best piece of evidence is that there were notices of his birth in two local newspapers.
GLENN: So you have to be PAT: All part of the plan. GLENN: Right. PAT: It was all part of conspiracy. GLENN: You have to go to a Manchurian Candidate. PAT: You really do. GLENN: At birth. PAT: It’s so ridiculous.
D’SOUZA: But I think what’s so significant is that Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, when Newt Gingrich praised my article and praised my argument and said it was the most insightful look at Obama that he had ever seen, Gibbs, the press secretary goes, well, they are just raising the issue of where Obama was born. So this poor guy
GLENN: No. D’SOUZA: He had evidently not read the article, I know he hasn’t read the book. I actually want to send him a signed copy, one for him and one for Obama. (end of quotes)
Then the rest of the exchange is more of a review of the article in Forbes.
====================
I guess my point in bringing up the birther issue is not because I’m shocked over Beck’s view. We already know what his stand is; nor am I shocked over D’Souza’s agreement with Beck. There are two things: 1) It is disturbing that D’Souza bases his beliefs on those silly birth announcements, and 2) just because he doesn’t believe something that most of us feel strongly about, i.e., Ø origins, doesn’t discredit his excellent analysis of what makes Ø tick. This only reaffirms what we have to accept in life: No human being has an option on all of the truth.

It is clear that “they” (and that includes a lot of people, not just Beck and D’Souza) are absolutely convinced that coming anywhere near the Birther business would destroy their credibility. They think no one will listen to them or read their books. So the the first thing they have to do is distance themselves from the “nutty conspiracy” so that people will listen to them explain “the important stuff” they want to say.
Related to this, but with a different twist, Jack Cashill partly agrees with D’Souza and thinks he did a good job but did not quite hit the nail on the head. Even though I liked D’Souza’s article, Jack has a point. Another excellent essay:

I’ve spent weeks on this issue….in a debate, I’d shoot you out of the water!!
Not the time or the place—more important things to worry about.
If it boils down to a he said/she said, then it’d be a tie.
I do know a pilot with his own plane…
That maneuver into the Pentagon with a 757??? The “God is my co-pilot ” bumper sticker needed here.
You are not this naive and it seems to me you love controversy….ME??? Not so much.
End of discussion.
People (such as yourself?) who like skating on thin dangerous ice are particularly resistant to being dissuaded. You can be one of them or come into the light.
CC….you can’t persuade me with hours of research under my belt.
And you are soooo sure that YOU have the key to light??
Only one deity has that for me and yes, this girl is clinging to her guns and God…He is the source of my light.

You can’t sit on the fence forever….
You work too hard to make the answer look easy.
Occam’s Razor pretty much does it for me
“the simplest explanation is usually the correct one”.
CC….
Coming to premature insane conclusions – BAD
God–you are so full of yourself.
Who made you the decider of what’s premature, or insane??
Do you have a God complex??
Geeze!!

I love self-righteous people who “know” the answers. Me, I don’t know so much. Nobody will ever sucker me on to the thin ice. I am proud I don’t know the answers to everything. Because as a skeptic, I know the line between fact and fancy. Further, if that lines becomes a width of gray, rather than a fine line, I am smart enough to stay on the sane side of the line. I would much rather miss out on a little of what may turn out to be some of the truth but retain my sanity and credibility.
And – you will never beat me or anybody like me in a debate – because being on the safe side of the line ALWAYS beats being on the wobbly side of the line. The most you could do is end up making a case that there are a lot of unanswered questions. Which is a point I have already conceded. So, I win.
You miss the most key point of all. You cannot win a “I know what happened ” argument until there is no other explanation left standing except the one you “know”. Since EVERYTHING that is questionable about 9/11 has many alternate answers – there is no way you can make a case that YOUR answer is the winner.
Now, you see, we could have an interesting debate if I had an alternate theory that I “knew” to be true but differed from the one you “knew” to be true. But I do not have such an alternate that I “know”. So the debate is real simple. We absolutely agree up to a point. And then I stop at the edge of the cliff and stand firm that this is far as solid ground goes. Now you could go ahead and charge into the unknown, but it would not be pretty.
It’s kind of like staunch conservativism vs. wild-fancy. Conservativism in this meaning is ALWAYS defensible because it stands on known ground. Fancy very quickly shoots off the end of the runway and crashes and burns.
I remain skeptical and grounded. I refuse to endanger my credibility by PRE-MATURELY jumping onto a shakey bandwagon.
But – like I said – some people aren’t as proud or as easily embarrassed. But, that’s OK, YOU GO GIRL.
PS – JJ – – –
If that plane did not crash into the pentagon, then that means that whole plane and all those people went missing. Do you “know” where they went? Maybe the people were sucked up into waiting “V” ships and the plane was vaporized with a “ray”?
Oh, no, wait – they were hijacked by a mean MOSSAD gang, secretly flown to Israel and trained to eat Palistinian babies?
Just curious – I just bet you’ve got it all figured out.

Thanks for the reference to the Jack Cashill article. He is another favorite of mine. Frankly, at the time of reading the D’Souza essay I did feel that, although his analysis was excellent, it was too narrowly confined, perhaps. Now Cashill rounds it out a little more evenly. Rather than formulate my own summary, I’m quoting from two of the commenters which put it succinctly for me:
(from Miss Marple)
“Coming from the Third World, D’Souza sees Obama’s hatred for this nation (which is what underlies all of his policies) as anti-colonialism. Robin of Berkley sees it as a sort of mental problem. Cashill sees it as Marxism.
I think the truth is probably a mixture of all three. Obama is so consumed with disdain for this nation, the home of his mother (who abandoned him) that he has gravitated to any ideology that will feed his desire for revenge.
(from maddogtiger)
“Obama is a third generation communist on both sides of his family tree. How can anyone be suprised by what he is doing?”
And so the probing and analyses continue……..

You say, “CC….you can’t persuade me with hours of research under my belt.”
I’ve found throughout life that to become so self-assured that one is right, is often a case of either naivete, ignorance or arrogance, none of which is good.
Sometimes it’s simply a case of not knowing what you don’t know.
To those who believe that the flight did not hit the Pentagon, you are calling the eye witnesses to that incident liars.
Yes, there are eyewitnesses. They saw the aircraft on its flight path as it careered into the Pentagon.
For all of the nonsense that I have seen from Truthers the denial that there was aircraft wreckage is probably the must ludicrous of all.
It does not take much in the way of research to find pictures of the aircraft wreckage, complete with aircraft engines. Those pictures are available.
Deny it all you want… the fact remains that “War was declared on the USA by Al Qaeda.”… The mastermind is KSM… now get over it..
