Larry Sinclair lawsuit, Dan Parisi,, Law firm retainer, Sinclair request

Larry Sinclair has requested that I post the following comment today, June 23, 2010.
“Larry Sinclair for Congress 2010 I have found a seasoned Law office which specializes in Defamation/slander cases. I need to raise $5000.00 to retain their services. Can we get 100 people who want the truth known to contribute $50.00 each towards the $5000.00 retainer needed to secure the services of this law firm? Each one can be made through and sent to email address: If you click the personal tab and make sure “gift” is marked paypal will not deduct any fees from the contribution. Lets show Dan Parisi and DC’s most powerful Law Firm that we will fight for the truth.”

Larry called at 10:25 AM ET and asked that I add the following:

“I am putting up the title to my home and to my car to secure the retainer.”

  3. Best of luck to Larry.

  4. I am putting my home and vehicle on the market today to defend against this baseless complaint by Dan Parisi. Updates are at Have located statement by Parisi posted on 2-26-2008 on that proves he was aware of these statements he now claims slandered him on or before 2-26-2008.

  5. From firm I am seeking to retain: “I think you have strong defenses to the defamation claims.”

  6. CW was Dan Parisi the owner of (porn web-site) that people got comfused with was an adult and political entertainment website that first came online in 1997. According to a statement on the web, it was originally created by Ransom Scott as a place where uncensored discussion of government policies could occur before adult content was added to make it more profitable[citation needed]. More recently, the adult content has been eradicated.

    Hi Larry,

The truth is an absolute defense to defamation claims.

If a lawfirm is successful in defending you, which should be simple as the truth is on your side, your book sales should skyrocket…

There should be some lawfirm that would be willling to take your case on for a percentage of your future royalties.

If you know of a firm in DC then let us know. We do not have the time, our answer is due on June 28, 2010.

We have had four firms now state they would love to represent us in this case; that we have a good case; but they cannot afford to do so pro bono. Parisi hired patton Boggs for a reason, they are the most expensive firm who will keep filing in this case for the billable hours which Parisi can afford to pay. As they stated “This suit was brought for no other reason than they know we do not have the financial resources to fight them. They are simply using their deep pockets to try and shut us down when they have failed in every other way.

I refuse to go down because they have the money to hire patton Boggs.

“Who is giving these orders? Who is in charge?”

  12. Defamation claims can not be filed by persons using fictitious names ,characters , vital records.

Like : Mickey Mouse vs Walt Disney.

Since everyone knows Barack H . Obama jr. is a undocumented fictitious character he has no legitimacy outside of DC, his creators.

  22. Wonderful news Not – General Petreus demoted and a bigger output of oil coming up in the Gulf.

  23. It’s official,

As I and Army DAV had said for 2 days now, Gen. McCrystal is relieved of duty.

Ater now a 5th public apology, kissing the ring of the annointed one, bowing to him, its over. All all without a fight. Took his medicine.

Never once did I believe (as the vast majority on the internet did) that Gen. McCrystal would walk in the Oval office with the Constitution in hand, per se, and stand up to the annointed one, or even challege his eligibilty as a CINC.

    And he didn’t…..

Hate to say we told you so.

  24. I wonder what or better yet why, Gen. McCrystal and his Staff would have even thought to speak ill or openly againt the annointed one to a Freelance Journalist for the Rolling Stones.

Did they really think their side comments would be off the record and not printed? For that matter, the Joulnalist didn’t even wait for the print and immidiately started contact other liberal news agencies.

Oh well, lesson to be learned for all others.

  25. OT, but has anyone seen this? I wonder if it is

    Oil Raining in Louisiana

  26. Oops, something happened. I’ll try to retrieve.

  27. Well General McCrystal has just become the 2nd General to be canned over Obama’s Afghan policy of “no win-no questions”. All at the expense of an illegitimate POTUS. I don’t get it!

If what McCrystal said in the Rolling Stone article was TRUE…the acting CinC and the Deputy CinC and their complete staffs are the ones who should be relieved of duty!

McCrystal missed a wonderful opportunity to question Obama’s LEGAL right to be CinC by not asking PUBLICLY for him to produce his real birth certificate before demanding his resignation. But he didn’t. He folded like all the rest of the cream puff top brass. God we need a Patton now!

America has gone to ‘hell in a hand-basket” when someone NOT QUALIFIED according to our Constitution is allowed to boot an American hero like McCrystal.

I watched Obama’s Rose Garden press conference where he tried to explain his reasons for relieving McCrystal..General Petreus was standing beside him like a good little “lap dog”.
I though how long before Petreus is given his walking papers?

Our purpose in Afgahanstan is not to defeat the enemy because the enemy cannot be defined or identified. Our purpose is to tie up American resources…waste money and weaken and draw down our capabilities elsewhere when a real crisis erupts in the world.

Russia was not able to defeat the imaginary enemy in this area. We are copying the Russian plan for disaster to the letter.

War in that area has now become America’s longest engagement, with no end in sight. The White house does not talk about winning any more, they only talk about engaging.

This is a “Phony War”, conducted by a “Phony President” for the phony reason of fighting global terrorism which Obama refuses to even talk about. We better start showing concern about the terrorist crossing our southern border in Arizona daily instead of some imaginary figure hiding in a cave in some remote mountain over there. That’s where our real enemy will come from.

Wake up America, we are being take by a slick Chicago hood with the main stream media in his corner.

  29. Here you Cabby:

  30. RM,

I agree with everything you just said. I would add that many were unaware that Gen. McCrystal is a leftest Progressive whom supported Obama publically during the Presidential campaign, whom financially contributed to Obama’s campaign and who voted for Obama.

General McCrystal knew full well of Obamas past, same as Clinton, Pelosi and many more. Why would anyone think for a nano-second that any of them would now challege him?

The chickens have come home to roost, litterally.

  31. RMinNC – 2:47 PM

“I watched Obama’s Rose Garden press conference where he tried to explain his reasons for relieving McCrystal..General Petreus was standing beside him like a good little “lap dog”.
I though how long before Petreus is given his walking papers?”
That BHO speech was just about more than I could stomach. He lies through his teeth!! I also noticed the look on Gen. Petraeus’ face. He didn’t look very happy – I thought it was sort of a fatalistic expression. They say that Petraeus is more geared toward the political side of command, although I’ve not followed his career closely enough to make a judgment. Is this a demotion? Wasn’t Petraeus the command over all of the operations in the mid-east? Who will take Petraeus’ place?? Another question: I wonder what Gen. McCrystal will do now? I guess that time will tell.

  32. Just notice how all the so-called news is about mccrystal’s disrepect of his authority and how if this would have happened under george bush, all the news would have been on what the general said about the president’s team. (and how true it was)

  33. Hope the general/generals go on TV and spills the beans on Obama, assuming they have any.

  34. Cabby,

I am not surpised that rain has brought in some oil particles. As the ocean water evaporates back up in the atmosphere, it must come back down. Of course, depending on other varibles such as speed, weight and height would determine how far inland it will travel.

If a hurrican hits, I would expect those inland of 100 plus miles to experience oilly rain.

  35. Hi, Prairie – Thanks so much for the video! I was just ready to enter it (this time I checked it out first) and then saw that you had done it!!

    Madsen Report:

June 23, 2010 — Government insiders: Get ready for the Gulf “dead zone”

Bad news concerning the Gulf oil disaster continues to come from WMR’s federal government sources in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Emergency planners are dealing with a prospective “dead zone” within a 200 mile radius from the Deepwater Horizon disaster datum in the Gulf.

A looming environmental and population displacement disaster is brewing in the Gulf. The oil dispersant used by BP, Corexit 9500, is seen by FEMA sources as mixing with evaporated water from the Gulf and absorbed by rain clouds producing toxic precipitation that threatens to kill all marine and land animals, plant life, and humans within a 200-mile radius of the Deepwater Horizon disaster site in the Gulf. Adding to the worries of FEMA and the Corps of Engineers is the large amounts of methane that are escaping from the cavernous grotto of oil underneath the Macondo drilling area of Gulf of Mexico.

On a recent visit to the Gulf coast, President Obama vowed that the Gulf coast will “return to normal.” However, federal officials dealing with the short- and long-term impact of the oil disaster report that the “dead zone” created by a combination of methane gas and Corexit toxic rain will force the evacuation and long-term abandonment of cities and towns within the 200-mile radius of the oil volcano.

Plans are being put in place for the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Hammond, Houma, Belle Chase, Chalmette, Slidell, Biloxi, Gulfport, Pensacola, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Bay Minette, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Crestview, and Pascagoula.

The toxic rain from the Gulf is expected to poison fresh water reservoirs and lakes, streams, and rivers, which will also have a disastrous impact on agriculture and livestock, as well as drinking water, in the affected region.

FEMA officials also claim that the $20 billion compensation fund set aside by BP is not nearly enough to offset the costs of the disaster. The FEMA sources say the disaster will cost well in excess of $1 trillion, and likely closer to $2-3 trillion.

Gen. McChrystal’s Resignation Accepted — Did Obama Do the Right Thing?

  47. Michelle Malkin covered the Gulf Oil Spill lies really well.
The White House immediately announced plans to appeal the ruling. But for once, Chicago-on-the-Potomac has run smack in the rule of law and lost. For all the other small people over whom the Obama administration has run roughshod, let’s hope it sets a lasting precedent.
The suit challenging Obama’s desperately political ban was filed by Covington, La., rig company, Hornbeck Offshore Services, which spoke on behalf of all the “small people” in the industry whose economic survival is at stake. As the plaintiffs’ lawyer argued in court, the overbroad ban promised to be more devastating to Gulf workers than the spill itself. “This is an unprecedented industry-wide shutdown. Never before has the government done this,” attorney Carl Rosenblum said.
Scientists who served on the committee expressed outrage upon discovering earlier this month that Salazar had — unilaterally and without warning — inserted a blanket drilling ban recommendation into their report. In fact, seven panelists explicitly opposed a blanket ban as “punishing the innocent.” As Feldman recounted in his ruling:
In the Executive Summary to the Report, [Salazar] recommends “a six-month moratorium on permits for new wells being drilled using floating rigs.” He also recommends “an immediate halt to drilling operations on the 33 permitted wells, not including relief wells currently being drilled by BP, that are currently being drilled using floating rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.”
Much to the government’s discomfort and this Court’s uneasiness, the Summary also states that “the recommendations contained in this report have been peer-reviewed by seven experts identified by the National Academy of Engineering.” As the plaintiffs, and the experts themselves, pointedly observe, this statement was misleading. The experts charge it was a “misrepresentation.” It was factually incorrect.
Allow me to be more injudicious: Salazar lied. Salazar committed fraud. Salazar sullied the reputations of the experts involved and abused his authority.

  49. Friend emailed me this…wanted to share!

A United States Marine was attending some college courses
between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and
Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an
a vowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, “GOD, if you are
real then I want you to knock me off this platform; I’ll give
you exactly 15 min! ” The lecture room fell silent. You could
hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed,
“Here I am GOD, I’m still waiting.”
It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got
    out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him;
knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat there,
The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there
looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably
shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, ‘What in the world is the
matter with you? ‘Why did you do that?’ The Marine calmly replied,
“GOD was too busy today protecting American soldiers who are protecting
your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me.”

    The classroom erupted in cheers.

  50. LM @ 4:28 pm
    Perfect, thank you.

  51. I wonder what Pelosi could be so paranoid about, since she has so many crimes to her credit alon with her fellow law-breakers.
Pelosi asks for donations to fend off potential GOP investigations
By Eric Zimmermann – 06/23/10 12:48 PM ET
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is asking supporters for contributions to help prevent the “subpoenas and investigations” that would result from a GOP majority.
In a fundraising letter for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Pelosi says if Republicans take back the House, they’ll initiate “endless investigations against President Obama” and “bring back the days of Ken Starr and the politics of personal destruction.”
“Remember a Republican-controlled Congress that devoted more time to subpoenas and investigations than to solving our country’s problems?” Pelosi asks. “There is far too much at stake for our country now to allow it to happen again.”
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the ranking member of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, has shown himself willing and eager to be a thorn in the side of the Obama administration on everything from the BP oil spill to the Joe Sestak job offer. Few doubt that he would use a chairmanship to ramp up those efforts.

  52. McChrystal is out! He was a fine soldier. Unfortunately he does a form of warfare that is conducted in the shadows,at night,or via drone airplanes. He has his own ideas as to how a war should be prosecuted. Sadly he was not able to conduct “his war”his way. I think that once again we see politics getting in the way of our military services. EVERYTIME this happens we end up leaving the theater with our tail between our legs. It is the gross product of POLITICAL MICROMANAGEMENT of our field commanders. Fortunately for the US Delano Roosevelt had the good sense to put the prosecution of WW2 in the hands of his field commanders. While we lost over 2/3 of our youngsters, we at least won the war. This was largely the product of Field Commanders like Eisenhower, Mc Arthur, Bradley, Patton, Wainright, Nimitz, etc. These were men who knew that a war is fought by our troops, and our field Commanders. They were comitted to it and in the end won WW2 in both the Pacific, and in Europe. This was the last time we won anything until Desert Storm. General Norman Schwartzkopf also knew that you win wars by committing OVERWHELMING force, and using the force intelligently. Sadly we havn’t seen much overwhelming force ,or intelligent use of it since Desert Storm. All the result of POLITICAL MICRO MANAGEMENT. Now we have a USURPER who has never even held a rifle in his hands trying to SUPERVISE A WAR.,via his field Commanders. This is about the most idiotic elected official that has ever tried to call himself the POTUS as far back as I can remember. Now all we need to do is make our corrupted military upper echelons see the insanity of his, and their ways. It is the JOINT CHIEFS who NEED TO ACT VERY SOON TO BRING AN END TO THE REIGN OF THE MANIAC WHO is really NOTHING, AND AS SUCH HAS ABSOLUTELY NO CONSTITUTIONAL POWER.

While I can’t say I was a Bush fan, I can say I did respect him and I believe all of his decisions were made coming from what he believed was the best action for our country and the people in it. Yes, he made some mistakes-but so has every President since Washington. I’m so glad Jeb is coming to his brothers defense against Obama’s never ending attacks/excuses etc. it is beyond time. I think 99 per cent of Obama’s attacks against George Bush were unfair, Obama should have spoke up when he was in Congress voting “present”.
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — For months now, Jeb Bush has been listening as President Obama blasts his older brother’s administration for the battered economy, budget deficits and even the lax oversight of oil wells.
“It’s kind of like a kid coming to school saying, ‘The dog ate my homework,’ ” Mr. Bush, this state’s former governor, said over lunch last week at the Biltmore Hotel. “It’s childish. This is what children do until they mature. They don’t accept responsibility.”

William, nothing is ever as it seems….I think something is going on and we won’t know till we know!!

There is, go back and find my post about Gen. McCrystal about a month ago. Not sure where it is on CW’s blog now.

Bottom line, McCrystal was loosing command/control over our military forces, due to his and OBlahblah’s rigid ROE B.S.

Gen. Patraus is far more respected and supported by our troops, as well as the Afghan Gov. and Tribal Elders. Although this seems like a demotion for him, it is not. He is the only General with the clout to get things back on the winning path once again.

Unfortunately that is going to take time as McCrystal’s over all incompetence has set back all the gains that were previously made under Gen. Patraus. Yes McCrystal was hand picked by O’BlahBlah to replace Gen. Patraus because he is a progressive and a hard line supporter, and NOT because Gen. McCrystal was the right man for the job.

  59. And as far as General McCrystal goes, in my opinion, he got what he asked for. He support him in the Primary, he donated to his cause, and he voted for him.

He was fully aware of his marxist socialist ties and more.

A good miliatary man? Yes, I would agree with his skills. But a man that takes his oath to the point of constitutionalism? No…..

Anyone can learn the arts of a trade, the embelishments of skills, the froth of advancements, but only a few can be true leaders – for if your self intrests blind your path, then fallen as a others have done in the past will be your outcome in history. Your failures have been marked and scribed.

  60. I need to copyright that last sentence…LOL

    Sorry, I was on a roll…

  61. When the truth is revealed, if their is a God, Bush will be in a Gitmo cell next to Barky.

  62. Michelle……………………………………………….

The constant attacks on the George Bush administration was not MISTAKES. These attacks were a product of the DEMOCRATIC party, and was designed to make all of the NITWITS among us believe that UP is DOWN,and the NITWITS swallowed the Democratic manure, hook ,line and sinker. The Democrats were actually targeting people of lesser intelligence. This is because they knew that a large percentage of our young people have been deliberately “DUMBED” down to a point where they will believe anything if you either buy them a pizza,or offer them something they value. That is the way Democrats have operated for decades. You only need to win by ONE vote, and it is seen as a win by our Electoral College as well.
There is little that we can do to reeducate our young people who are already down and out because of addictions, disease, etc. But we can see to it that our public school systems start teaching the three Rs instead of their deviate sexual criteria. This is all really because the teachers are the DEVIATES ,and in their dirty, sick little minds they think that they are going to teach their slimey agenda to our children, so that they can rape these children at will. This is where the truth is. Every damn teacher in our public schools who advocate such child abuse should be driven out of the community… period. Our children need good clean, and wholesome school rooms, and teachers once again. When we start teaching fact instead of fantasy we will begin to properly educate our kids once again. The Constitution was taught in the 5th grade where I attended elementary school. Today it appears that 5th graders are taught how to play computer games. Reall sad.

  63. bob strauss

Quo warranto Obama, by what authority do you fire anyone, from General Walpin to General McChrystal?
Obama is a fraud. He does not qualify to be president because he is a multi-national citizen of Britain, Indonesia, Kenya, and he claims US, but has shown no proof he is an American. None.
So now we have an illegal usurper, pretending to be president, firing, a life long American Military man, along with his staff, so he can continue to pretend to be president.
When are the military leaders in this country going to wake up and prosecute this usurper, and protect their own military men against the enemy usurper who attacks them, and ends their careers. WAKE UP!!
Just like Phillip Berg said at the beginning of this ordeal, “the country is facing the worst Constitutional crisis in the history of the country.”
Obama has just upped the ante by firing this General. I hope this wakes up the military, and the country to this usurper’s illegal activities, and the outcry gets louder and louder, until the usurper is driven out of the people’s house and this fraud is exposed as the fraud he is.

  64. bob strauss

Prairie, If not for George Bush, Saddam Hussien would be alive and well, threatening everyone on the planet with weapons of mass destruction.

When was the last time you heard a threat coming out of Iraq?

  65. Oldsalt,

Unforunately, they target the black americans, the college students and those that have absolutely no clue.

I was amazed when reporters hit the street and asked basic qu estions such as, how is President Bush’s Vice President? Who is the Secretay of State? Most, overwhelminly did not know the answerrs. That white guy is the VP, that white guy is this, and on and on…

Over 90% of those polled on the street did not know who Condelessa Rice was, and over 80% thought the civil war in happened in the 20th centrury. Over 70% of college grads thought reconstruction happened after WWII.

But not to worry, a whooping. 96% knew who snoop the snoop dog was and 92% knew who Beavis and Butthead was.

In a more recent servey of todays colledge grads, the survey found that 58% of colledge grads cannot interpret a basic newspaper article, and 62% cannot tell you how much change they should get back from three dollars if they paid for a $1.20 soup, 25 cents drink and leave a 10% tip. 65% could not tell in the exist exam how much it would cost to carpet a room given the basic diminsions and cost of carpet.

Not to worry again, but most could not place the civil war within a half century…

And these people have voting rights. Scary isn’t it….

  66. Bob Strauss………………………………….

At least it would seem that it would serve to let all of the JOINT chiefs know that EACH,or any ONE of them are now even more vulnerable than ever before. The MANIAC now fancies himself to be ABOVE any or ALL LAWS.
Watch out Petraeus. Make damn sure that you don’hiccup unless you have first cleared it with Soetoro. Don’t fart or Soetoro could fire you for passing gas under the noses of his buddies at Al Quida.

Prairie, I’m sorry but it is impossible for me to keep quiet on that statement. No one is saying that G.W. Bush didn’t make any mistakes, but to compare him to BHO is beyond the pale, in my opinion. Because there IS a God there will be a just determination someday.

BTW, if Bush was so terrible, then why weren’t the Dems successful in impeachment attempts when they were in control during the last years of the Bush administration?

  68. oldsalt79 @ 5:44 pm
Old Salt-schools are meant for education not setting a social agenda. They could combine the Constitution with games, as in you cannot proceed with the Constitution game until you learn the facts-gaming with knowledge it could work with every subject-education and knowledge should be fun. Obama as a “lecturer” is more like something out of “once upon a midnight dreary”, he is boring-besides inaccurate. His rule of law, if Obama likes something it is law-golf seems to be the latest law, if Obama doesn’t like parts of the Constitution too bad for the Constitution.
I’m still glad Jeb Bush spoke up for his brother, it is only fair and idiot Obama gave him a wide enough opening. If nothing else that it shuts Obama up over that beat to death subject-good.
I’m going to try to find some educational computer games if any exist.

  69. bob strauss

Oldsalt79, The democraps were using Alinsky’s tactics against Bush and the American people to further their ambitions. Now that the people, who believed the crap about Bush, elected the democraps to office, they can see it was all lies, just so they would be elected, even if they don’t qualify for the office.

  70. Cabby – AZ @ 6:12 pm
but Congress was meant as a check and balance they could have voted against Bush if they thought he was so wrong. Criticizing de facto is not fair, if there is critism they should share equally.

  71. William @ 6:11 pm
This is scary since it is third grade material.

  72. I failed to mention,

98% of blacks said they would vote for him because he is black, 78% of women said they would vote for Hillary because she is a woman, but only a small few percent said they would vote only for McCain because he is a male and white.

What does that tell you, or anyone?

  73. William @ 6:24 pm
Maybe it’s just me but I am an issues only person. Last election cycle I wished I could hear from all the candidates but Obama the pop-up doll interrupted constantly with all his blather.
I think the media ignored all other candidates-and just pushed Obama to the point of nauseating-therefore it seems like he has been potus 8 billion years. The media has lousy taste.

  74. Cabby,
This is my reasoning. Who had access to the FBI files? CIA files? Passports? Who had the power when Barky was campaigning in Kenya for Odinga? Who set up the TARP and bailouts? Without addressing 911 or the war, I ask one question… after keeping us safe for 8 years, why did he hand the biggest threat to our freedom, safety, and sovereignty the keys to the White House? Did he not take an oath?

  75. Simple answer to the dems “non-success.” Blackmail is more profitable.

  76. This just came over our local news, a 75 page report zombie attacks in Florida, she had to repeat it twice due to the stupidity of subject matter.
“UF Emergency Plan Includes Zombie Attack
In case zombies take over your campus, this is what you should do”
Along with hurricane evacuation, natural disasters and nuclear fall out, the university also wanted students to be prepared in the event the undead ransacks the campus. Yes, a Zombieland attack.
So on its Website, the school posted its “Disaster Preparedness” manual, with zombie attack as simulation exercise No. 5.
“It is clear that international media have begun paying increasing attention to the possibility of an outbreak of zombie behavior spectrum disorder. Likewise, major metropolitan police agencies are starting to pay attention to the possibility of zombie attacks and are addressing citizen notification concerns,” read part of the six-page instructions.

  77. OldSalt @ 5:44,
I agree with you 100%. I am so thankful that I have never put my kids in gov’t school, and I definitely never will.
I remember going over the Constitution with my oldest, and he had to write out each of our rights in his own words, which I thought was great, made him think and help him remember what his rights are under the Constitution.

  78. And I do still like George W., miss him alot. At least people still felt safe in America under him, not like we are under attack. And I still think he did what he thought was best for America. BS/BO only thinks of himself, he doesn’t even like America.
And for the first ladies, I miss Laura and Barbara, too. I have a very hard time even thinking that those 2 women could be as evil as some portray them. I like them.

  79. Intel just in: – Petraeus can pick his own people now, as Obama has wisely punted.

Prairie, I understand your frustration, but when Obama was supporting his murderous cousin, Odinga in Kenya, he was a U.S. senator. It was not in the U.S. President’s purview to bring charges against him. A President cannot be expected to be completely knowledgeable about everything that occurs. Furthermore, it is the Logan Act that I believe Obama may have violated, but having just read it (seldom used), I am not so sure that it does apply to Obama in this case. An attorney with more perfect knowledge would have to weigh in on that.

As far as access to FBI files, CIA files, etc. isn’t that one of the things that Pres. Clinton was accused of? Presidents don’t have a right to go snooping into personal files.

Why did Bush hand over the keys to the White House? That was no crime. After all, there had been an election (the Dems said he was qualified – Bush had no say in that) and the people that voted for Obama are the ones that put him in the
W.H. If you want to ascribe blame for Obama being there, go after the dummies that voted for him.

If we are going to follow the Constitution then it must be followed in all respects. The Constitution limits the authority of the executive branch. Isn’t that our big problem now? We have a usurper who wants ALL power.

  81. Bush vs. Obama
A right vs. left lesson most of us know, at times we forget in the heat of a discussion.
(clarification here, not a big AJ fan, he explains it the best I’ve seen in video format)

  82. Yet another duh moment for Chris Matthews, and they are saying Obama’s numbers are falling, they have been in free fall for a long time, no mention of how the people are suffering along the Gulf Coast-yet another- it is sickenly all about Obama, all the time- who cares about the country or the citizens certainly not the folks at MSNBC.
“…chance for him and somewhat in a way or somewhat in a personnel manner to insist on his role as Commander in Chief.”
at day 64 or 65 way too late, people got the message Obama is that incompetent.

  83. More and more Democrats are waking up to reality.
‘Wal-Mart Moms’ Turn on the Democrats
Their finances are perilous, and they don’t like Obamacare
The moms dislike the recently enacted health care bill. Roughly twice as many said the legislation will make their health care worse (42 percent) than said it will make it better (22 percent). By 52 percent to 38 percent, they disapprove of the bill. They were not asked if they favor repeal.
But it was their deep pessimism (73 percent) about the future that was the most striking finding in the survey, conducted on the Internet in late May. Half of Wal-Mart moms are concerned about falling into a lower economic class. They are anxious about joblessness.
“The pessimism is extraordinary,” Newhouse said. Their view that things won’t be better a year from now is deep-seated. “It is not going to change between now and election day,” he said, which is the worst news of all for Democrats.
