“Who benefits from Senate healthcare? ACORN!”
“A legal scholar says the Senate healthcare bill is not only stuffed full of racial quotas and preferences, but it also gives the disgraced liberal activist group ACORN opportunities to receive funding from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Harry Reid’s (D-Nevada) “manager’s amendment” in the Senate healthcare bill requires that six federal agencies each establish an “Office of Minority Health.” Under that requirement, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is supposed to award grants and contracts to organizations that are “indigenous human resource providers in communities of color” and engage in “community outreach activities” — the type of work ACORN says it has been doing for years.
Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation, says scandal-plagued ACORN — the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now — is exactly the kind of organization that will be applying for and receiving these federal funds.
“It illustrates this wrong assumption that’s all throughout this huge bill, and that is there are all these racial preferences and racial quotas everywhere in it,” he explains. “There’s this whole assumption by the left that the disparities in healthcare have to do with the racial background of doctors — something that is completely untrue — and it’s these kinds of things that in fact may worsen healthcare across the country.””

She (Susan Boyle) is a breath of fresh air. A person really has to search far and wide for good music these days. I took my family out to see Christmas Carol movie. I think Brown is a conservative; wouldn’t really call him a moderate. Strong family values and the ‘do what’s right’ attitude. I’ve seen no pandering on his part, and from what I understand, he’s been great for the people of his district.
Not sure what his strategy is yet-waiting for that regional office to open near me. I’ll have a better idea when I can *talk* to someone.
Right-if the bill is delayed per Barky’s orders, that gives him a chance to get in there and vote against it. Maybe Barky has just shot himself in the foot again?
The stumbling block is Martha Coakley, who’s even considered left by the left. She’s not well liked and kept a man in prison for crimes he didn’t commit. Queen Pelosi wasn’t happy with the small USAF C-20B jet, Gulfstream III, that comes with the Speaker’s job … OH NO! Queen Pelosi was aggravated that the Gulfstream had to stop to refuel, so she ordered a Big Fat, 200-seat, USAF C-32, Boeing 757 jet that could get her back to California without stopping! I understand that a former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, flew commerical most of the time.
State and federal government is a corrupt, stinking, despicable, disgusting cesspool of people who are drunk with power and who have long ago given up considering what is good for the country as a whole. It is nothing more than taking the people’s money at the point of a gun, keeping a cut, and then buying votes with the rest of the money. We would be better off with pure anarchy.

Dear Friends,
Isn’t it amazing that they can teach our kids in public schools about homosexual sex, but not mention God, the Bible (greatest and most sold book ever) or even Jesus the most recognized historical figure that ever lived. The reason for the season and the only man that ever changed time. Yes that is right we will celebrate the arrival of 2005 which is 2005 years after the birth of Jesus Christ. Can any other man claim that? A great historical figure that cannot be mentioned in our schools. We teach about Hitler, Stalin, Napolean, etc. but can’t talk about God or Jesus.
The founders of our country were unashamed to thank God on a regular basis. Read the enclosed George Washington Thanksgiving Day Proclamation (which thanks God not indians, pilgrims or turkeys) and imagine a president writing something like that today. This document gives us clear evidence that it is Freedom OF Religion, NOT Freedom FROM Religion. Washington didn’t believe in separation of Church and State (the way the ACLU looks at it), why should we? Separation of Church and State clearly meant government out of religion, not religion out of government. Clearly there was plenty of Religion in Government. Washington believed in Thanking God, not eliminating God.
If they want to change things to be more watered down, we emphasize it more.
Here is my solution to fight back.
This is what I started doing last year: I either say Merry CHRISTmas (pronouncing the first part the same as CHRIST as in Jesus Christ) then if they say anything I say “Don’t take CHRIST out of Christmas”. Another version and especially on Dec 25th I tell everyone Happy Jesus Christ Day. Also can be used as Happy Jesus Christ Season.
Here is something I wrote in 2003 that I send to people during CHRISTmas:

I have said this for a long time many times.
Obamafraud admitted on his website that his birth was governed by British Act. He also admitted that he was a Kenyan til adulthood when he failed to re-up his Kenyan citizenship. Now if he was British prior to becoming Kenyan along with his daddy and he gave up his Kenyan citizenship when he turned an adult HE CAN’T JUST PICK A COUNTRY THAT HE WISHES TO BE A CITIZEN OF, his citizenship REVERTS back to what it was when he was born which is BRITISH not USA.
He was a British became a Kenyan and REVERTED back to being BRITISH. Just the FACTS. Not to mention the little thing about not being Natural Born Citizen because of lack of TWO PARENT CITIZENS (he only had one USA parents and an “unqualified” (too young) one at that.

A doctor just spoke on Fox News and he says the majority of doctors across the board say this bill is a disaster waiting to happen…..he says the AMA which is supporting this nonsense is a bureaucratic association of mostly non practicing physicians who don’t know what they are talking about and are in the pocket of this administration…..UMMM…and it is only 17% of doctors…..this immoral bill is really starting to make my blood boil!!!!

Kristinn at FreeRepublic.com reports that Barack Obama will be spending ten days over Christmas and New Year’s at a $8.9 million estate in Hawaii at a rate of at least $4000 per night, according to ABC News. Obama spent last Christmas there as well when he was president-elect.
As the American people are still caught in the grips of the recession with unemployment running from 10% to 16% and the federal budget blown out with Obama’s massive deficit spending, Obama is living like a king with no criticism from the mainstream media.
ABC describes the estate with no mention of the incongruence of Obama’s extravagance with the wrecked Christmases of tens of millions of Americans one year in to his failing presidency:
The Obamas’ rental property is 7,000 square feet of paradise on the southeastern coast of the island, complete with large open spaces built around a lagoon pool.
…It’s also not cheap. Staying in this $8.9 million house, which Zimel has dubbed the “Obama Winter White House,” will cost around $4,000 a night. The two houses next door will be occupied by Obama family members and friends.
While ABC News ignores Obama’s “Let them eat cake” attitude, the New York Daily News flat out lies for Obama on his self-indulgent Christmas:

Every fifth grader knows that the U.S. Constitution requires a separation of powers through the three branches of government, the Executive, the Legislative and the Judicial. Duly elected Representatives and Senators were LOCKED OUT of the health care bill process and WHITE HOUSE STAFFERS were major contributors.

Yesterday I got up and went to the computer to see how we had all survived the June Bug episode. I was hoping it had been a dream. CW had put up a new topic which was about Larry Sinclair. I originally came to this site because of Larry. I was hoping that his attempt to give a speech at the Natl. Press Club would break open the truth about the USURPER. No, but what happened was he was arrested and spent several days in the D.C. jail and then hustled off toDelaware. It was a disgrace of the fundamental rights of a citizen and like the average American I did nothing to help. I clicked on his http://larrysinclairforcongress.com/ and was immediately filled with moving Christmas music and a beautiful manger scene. At the bottom of the message was an address which in my curiosity I wanted to see where he was. I Google maped his address in Florida and clicked to see that he was on a street in Port Orange. I backed down on the plus or minus by several notches and to my wonderment The Cross jumped out at me. Now, why would that be so important. My confession is that I am not “ms. helga”, but “mr.bill”.
This past year and a half I have attended the funerals of three friends at Arlington Natl. Cemetery. From last post, Maddie, usually in many elections the vote is very close. Add a few votes here and a few over there and the next thing you know you have stolen the election. Throw in ACORN to make sure you can cover the under/over vote with voter registrations in a large enough number to cover the number of votes that were programed into the Sequoia voting machines for your candidate.
I really hate to rain on the holidays for everyone…but are there any groups of citizens who are keeping an eye on the Jurrat training camps throughout the country? My God. Why has no one done anything about this?
I’m about ready to surrender, people…our government has forsaken its own people, and our military isn’t doing a damn thing about it. Know what I think? I think the UN is using Islamic Jihad as its military arm to bring the Unites States into line. I’ve been saying for two years that our military is our only hope, and even they seem to be turning a blind eye. I’m sure the a-hole in oval office will be sending even more troops to Afghanistan under the guise of ‘winning the war’, when in reality all he wants is them out of the country to die. My holiday is screwed. Nobody’s got the balls to do anything about this.

I sense your despair and I have felt just as helpless many times, but I take comfort in a picture I saw a long time ago…am not sure from where I saw it.
It was a picture of a mushroom cloud; to the left stood the Blessed Mother and in the center, was Christ on the Cross. I do not know from where this picture originated, but it gave me hope because I believe it demonstrated the power of God over anything man could make or do.
During this Holy Christmas Season, I ask you to pray more and worry less. After all, we are welcoming the true Prince of Peace who has the power to transform the world. If you trust in Jesus and not in man, you will not be afraid no matter what happens around you or to you.

Adams: Goldman’s Actions Cross Into Criminal Activity
Thomas Adams, a lawyer at Paykin Krieg and Adams, LLP, and a former managing director at Ambac and FGIC is backing up the charges that Janet Tavakoli has been making against Goldman Sachs. In fact, he is taking her charges one step further and stating that the Federal Reserve and the Treasury aided and abetted Goldman Sachs in “committing financial and ethical crimes at an astounding level.”
Here’s what he writes at Naked Capitalism:
The Federal Reserve and the Treasury aided and abetted Goldman Sachs in committing financial and ethical crimes at an astounding level…To realize on their bet against the housing market, Goldman needed the CDO bonds to collapse in value, which would cause AIG to be downgraded and lead to AIG posting collateral and Goldman getting paid for their bet. I am confident that Goldman Sachs did not reveal to AIG that they were betting on the housing market collapse.
To help hasten the housing market collapse, Goldman ran a huge mortgage lending and issuance program with low quality loans virtually designed to fail, including dozens of deals backed by completely toxic non-prime second lien loans (these loans help pump up the housing bubble and let borrower’s suck the equity out of their homes). In soliciting AIG’s insurance for the CDOs, Goldman was not disclosing that the transaction was highly speculative. Goldman was offering AAA, or even super AAA bonds. Goldman designed and sold these bonds and purchased a rating from the rating agencies that represented the risk to be AAA. In fact, the bonds did not provide real protection, despite their AAA rating, and when the housing market turned down, the AAA CDO bonds collapsed in value exactly as they were designed to do.

Now, I’m thinking……. Our government does not want to conclude that it was because of his religion that he did it. They are in big denial (at best) PC military stupidity. This imam had an interview recently that indicated that the killer said he wanted to kill our military peiople.
Is it possible that our government, since they cannot be seen as wrong, arranged to be involved with the airstrike (or even initiated it) – and killed this imam because of his verbal assault on our government?

Thank you for the touching story. I remember reading a while back about the two friends being buried side by side. And what an experience it must have been to “fly” a military plane and “land” it next to your house in the presence of your childhood chums. At the age of nine!
I read your “confession” at another recent post here and wondered what was going on. (Dec 22 3:19 pm) We are all not always what we seem. But God knows our hearts even better than we do ourselves. He calls us to love one another and not to judge. Unlike the god of Islam, our God is merciful and loving.
