I would like to thank the 60 senators who voted yesterday for the Senate version of the Health Care bill for providing us with a convenient score card to vote them out of office in 2010. Harry Reid is already a goner. Perhaps these 60 can form a club to stay occupied after the 2010 elections. Perhaps it could be called, “The Un American Club.”

I’ve been coming to this blog almost daily for over a year but comment only occasionally. None of you have ever read profanity from me but these are the only words I can find that describe the majority of the U. S. Congress.
This health care bill is not about health. It is about power. It’s about the government taking control of our lives. If Congress wanted to give health benefits to the 17 % uninsured Americans all they had to do was expand eligibility to Medicaid and put a moratorium on unnecessary spending, including earmarks and pet projects. Instead, they put us in further debt then they tax, tax, tax some more and spend our money like there is no tomorrow.
Prior to the 2008 election, I had no interest in politics and the procedures of the legislative process. But this past year, I have observed our Senators and Representatives through the bank bailouts, then the auto bailouts, the stimulus bill and now the healthcare bill. I’ve taken notice of how they presented bills of 2,000+ pages that were so confusing and misleading that they required interpreters to translate them. I watched our Congressmen and women finagle and negotiate and compromise their integrity in exchange for their “yea” vote. I was always aware that politics involved making concessions but I had not realized to what extent our esteemed elected would go.
How disillusioned and naïve I was to think that those we chose to represent us were honest and trustworthy. And to think that Gov.Rod Blagojevich was impeached for attempting to sell a Senate seat. Maybe the justice department should take a good look at Congress in action.
Jame O”Keefe and Hannah Giles pretended to be a pimp and a prostitute to prove corruption within the ACORN organization. But as I see it, Congress is the real thing. Answer me this. Is it a greater crime to sell your body for money than it is to sell your integrity for money? Even if the compensation for your integrity is $100 million? $300 million? I think not. Pimps and whores. What else can we call them?
Do I sound angry? Yes, I am. Angry AND fearful. Fearful of what is happening to our country. Fearful of the disregard of the U. S. Constitution and our destructive path to socialism. Even if we boot the bums out and get a new Congress in 2010, will they also succumb to the evils of hunger for power and self righteousness? I hope not. I pray not.
God, have mercy on us all.

My sentiments exactly. As a small business owner I’ve been interested in policy and how it would affect the small business world threw the years. But naively I thought the Constitution and The Bill of Rights protected Americans. This is no more since the Shifty Sixty came to power. What does this say about our Education system? It appears the Shifty Sixty are a Product of our Dumbed Down Education System. They obviously do’t know what is and isn’t lawful. My Lord, look at who they elected -BO. Just a total disgrace!

I can tell you that Kirk (D-MA) is filling a temp Senate position vacated by everyone’s favorite drunk, Teddy Kennedy. This was the ‘change in the law’ that was voted on to give Gov. Cadillac Deval Patrick the authority to name a replacement in the interim. More MA dirty politics, as usual-don’t like the law? Change it to suit your needs.
There’s a special election shortly to name a permanent Senator. Scott Brown is running on the Repub ticket and our State Treasurer, Tim Cahill, a reformed Dem, is running as an Independent. I like both, but will have to check into Cahill’s platform a bit more.
Of course, the Dems are fighting tooth and nail and have several ‘Progressive’ candidates running. All morons, including Attorney General Martha Coakley, who’s the front runner.
So, we’re watching MA closely. No Dem will get my vote.

I personally think a hand delivered petition to each of them pertaining to Obama’s statement of his Father being a British Subject, making him ineligible to be president under our Constitution & a demand that they come forward as a group and address his eligibility openly or face being voted out of Congress, as well as being prosecuted for the cover-up , which has led to Treason against our Country and Constitution. They are talking about the pink slips that have been sent and with massive names on a Petition hand delivered will bring a response from these people that seem to care about keeping their gov. office. DO YOU THINK IT’S WORTH A TRY, SINCE ALL ELSE HAS FAILED? Maybe it would get just one person to do the right thing and stop this MADNESS.

Your list is almost a carbon copy of my sh## list. Obviously we all share rhe same level of disgust with these MORONS. In 2010 and 2012 we need to turn it in to a vendetta of sorts. Irregardless of who is running we all vote for the Democrats opponents,no matter who it is. This would be really effective if there is enough of us. I think we could put a size 10 on the rear ends of nearly all of them.
I have read the first 50 pages of “Going Rogue”. So far most of my thoughts about her have been confirmed. She has grown up in a way that nearly duplicated the mid to late 1930s. I believe that she knows all to well what doing without means. In her case though it was the adverse Alaskan environment which generated the 1930s conditions. Art Linkletter once stated that when he was growing up his family didn’t even know that a depression existed, because that was the way they lived from day one. I always edmired his wit.

This is *not* the Democrat party of JFK-this is a bastardized version of what it once was. I was no fan of JFK, either, but I think if he were alive today he’d be a Conservative, maybe even a Conservative Repub. No way he would be a Dem-the party has morphed into something he wouldn’t believe in; there’s no such thing as ‘public service’ anymore rather, what the pols can get for their own personal gain.

One thing is certain now. If the alleged Health Care passes, us seniors are not going to forget who SCREWED US. I would venture to guess that out of the alleged 300,000,000 population in the US probably 30% or more are seniors. This translates to a pretty hefty voting power. Joy…don’t know if you are aware but the American Grand Jury did just that….they served every Senator and every Congress man and woman with the Grand Jury presentments that prove the FRAUD is ineligible….they are all still on the back burner and no one to my knowledge except Nathan Deal has said they will question the FRAUD….Deal has publicly stated that he and others are sending a letter to the White House asking for the FRAUD’S birth certificate…to date I haven’t seen any evidence of the letter being written or sent!!! At the turn of the century the Democratic party was already known for their bullsh##, and heavy handed political tactics. Cities like Boston, and New York were literally permeated with what came to be known as “Shanty Irish, and Wops. These terms were originally coined for innocent verbal reference to particular groups of foreign nationals who had immigrated to our shores. Over a period of time these terms were used against these people in disparaging ridicule by others. Sadly there is a lot of it still being directed at legal immigrants, who have done nothing to deserve it. We have a neighbor whose surname is Furlini. They are from Sardinia. Like my father, he was born in his homeland, and brought to the US as a youngster. My father was 3 years of age when my grandfather, and grandmother immigrated to the US. They came to the US in 1909 from England. Mr Furlini and his wife are two of the most morally upstanding, honest, and likeable people you would ever want for neighbors. They are devout Roman Catholics. We both were youngsters during the thirties, and they too knew about the detriments of the times. They both are Democratic, but now loathe what the party has turned into. Basically the party was HIJACKED by the dirty, sick, liberal left BASTARDS, and sadly the Democratic conservatives are taking a lot of heat unjustly. I refer to the liberal left as originally the “GANG OF SEVEN” We all know whothey are so I won’t elaborate. Together the moron liberal left has finally signed their own political death warrants. Mark my words,at election time they will feel a very painful political demise, and I will be watching, and dancing in glee, as I watch each one of them receive his/her PINK SLIP, or board a bus headed for LEAVANWORTH.

J.S, I follow the American Grand Jury closely, however, Our Astute Congressmen & Women have not given lip service to the AGJ. The pink slips in mass, seem to draw attention and therefore, the reason I mentioned the possibility of another hand delivered petition. I, like you, continually call,write and raise hell with all of them daily, but with their staff, keeping a safe wall between them and constituents, it seems futile!!! By the way, I truly enjoy and look for your post here on Citizen Wells. You, Jeff M.(although sometimes grouchy), Sue K., Linda NY and many others add so much to Citizen Wells. Keep up the Good work.
