Mike Huckabee book tour, November 13, 2009, Charlotte NC, Governor Huckabee tours 60 cities, A Simple Christmas, Joseph-Beth Booksellers, Large crowd

Governor Mike Huckabee, who ran for president in 2008 and is a regular on Fox TV, appeared at a book signing at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Charlotte, NC, today, Friday, November 13, 2009. I spoke briefly to Governor Huckabee and he is just as nice in person as he is on TV. A large crowd stood in line for the signing of Huckabee’s book, “A Simple Christmas.”

While waiting in line I spoke to several people about the state of the  country, health care and Congress. All of the folks I spoke to seemed like average Americans and they weer not happy with Congress or the Health Care Bill.

One lady, much younger than I had recently moved from Florida. She has always voted and is not happy with the current state of things. She bought 6 of Huckabee’s books.

A couple near my age group were very unhappy with the state of things and especially the Health Care Bill. The lady stated I should run for office. Ouch. I must control my passion.

An older lady next to me was also concerned. She stated that she had never seen things go from bad to worse as when Obama got elected. She was very concerned but seemed pleased to hear of efforts to unseat congressmen next year.

Hey CitizenWells. I do like Gov. Huckabee. However, I’m hoping for a stronger Gov. Palin in 2012 for either President or Senator.

The media vilification was what did her in last year. This book tour can erase most of that. Hopefully!

I need to start the grill. Pork, Chicken, & Saugage. Peta never sends me any solicitations. I wonder why?

    Have a Great Weekend! Zach

  2. following Zach’s train: any preference for their ‘strength’ between Pence and DeMint?

  3. The uncertainty continued for about two weeks and finally on Wednesday night November 4, 2009, just before 10:00 p.m., Dr. Taitz called me by telephone informed me that she could never ever see me or speak with me or work with me again, that her husband had said terrible things to her.

  4. Zach @ 2:44: try mentioning that you’re serving them on fur-lined plates…that oughta do the trick.

  5. Are ‘mosquitos’ small shrines in Mexico?
Certainly not serving carnitas rolled into small tortillas…

  6. Huckabee might be a nice man but he is still a hypocrite. You can’t condone ILLEGAL immigration and open borders during a time of war while there are laws on the books going unfunded and unenforced. I would have more respect for him if he advocated compassionately deporting the ILLEGAL immigrants ASAP and hitting the employers with hefty fines while simultaneously changing the immigration laws so that more are allowed to enter every year but from the back of the line. If the families don’t want to be separated, the families go too until they get back in. No more anchor babies. Also, the radical Islamic jihadists are the first to go and it is just fine if the door hits them in the butt on the way out!

Oh, don’t forget that Huckabee is on record saying Obama is a citizen and born in Hawaii. Huckabee is either complicit in covering for Obama’s crimes via silence or too incomprehensibly negligent to be a candidate for the office of the POTUS and not have a legal research team to definitively determine his opponents’ eligibility when in question as obvious as it was. Remember, the BC is not the issue; it is the dual nationalities which Obama publicly admitted to before the election.

  7. That has been my biggest complaint against Huckabee in the past.
    Too nice. Status quo.
However, his positions seem to have become more realistic lately

  8. Huckabee may be salvageable.
He too, must listen to the American people.

  9. Great points, Pixel Patriot. Although there are
plusses with Huckabee, I did hear him go down
the complacent trail of citizen and Hawaii. I’m not hitching my wagon to anyone who does that.
    Ba-bye Huck.

  10. Good post Pixel Patriot! I agree with all you said. Huckabee should stick to his talk show and his “Little Rockers.”

  11. I don’t understand why any of you want someone who has been a professional politician to run for any office. There are more bloggers here on this site with the common sense to run any government entity than someone who WANTS to be a “leader”.
Most of them think they are smarter than you, have better solutions than you, and in the process, are willing to sell their souls to the highest bidder to prove it.

    OK, off my soapbox.

  12. Huckabee was not my candidate in 2008 and I do not know if I could ever
    vote for him.
However, he is intelligent and articulate and is not going away.
He appears to have opened his eyes on the Obama Camp and
    he may be trainable.
Does he have the scruples he appears to have?
    We will find out.

  13. Fernley Girl.
Most choices in life are between the lesser of evils.
We must remove the greater evils.

  14. I still believe that if enough brave democrats would switch to republican and or independant they could put a stop to Pelosi and Barry’s corruption! They could be hero’s and save our country until we can get Barry out.

  15. CW @ 3:47: being re-dundant: “the greater” includes all in the anti-constitutional republic camps.

  16. Ginger @ 3:55: the hitch here is that there are pro-oligarchy, anti-constitutional republic folks that are just as bent on getting O out of the way as you appear to be…but who need to be given tickets to board the ‘greater’ train as well…borrowing from CW’s post.

  17. c.n.d.e. ville II

At the moment, my litmus test for the salvageableness of any office holder is the eligibility issue. If Huckabee today starts asking questions about o’s background and eligibility for office, I MIGHT move him from my “I want you our of our government immediately” list to my “okay, maybe not immediately, but you had REALLY better mean this” list.

Realistically, since, at the moment, no potential candidates seem to pass my test, I may have to revise my standards. Sigh. lol Story of my life.

I dunno, if we keep settling for the lesser of evils, will we ever get the good (with warts and all, of course)?

  18. c.n.d.e. ville II // November 13, 2009 at 4:06 pm

    Hi, c.n.d.e. ville II,

I’m tired of voting against candidates and would actually like to vote *for* a candidate for a change!

Politicians had better start talking…and saying the right things. Soon.

  19. Like the NY23 election, we’ve got to stop accepting the candidates that they give us. We need more conservatives to step up!!!

  20. Note to Republican candidates: become the revolutionary, small government party you used to be and not ‘status quo’ party.

Good article by the Knish here about it:

Indian Court Of Appeals Trips Over Natural Born Citizen Issue.
Posted in Uncategorized on November 13, 2009 by naturalborncitizen

The Indiana Court of Appeals in the Arkeny and Kruse case has just issued a lame judicial attempt at defining the “natural born citizen” clause. The errors of fact and law incorporated into the decision serve as a beacon outlining the desperation certain government factions now face. Obviously, the British birth issue is getting on their nerves and this was clearly an attempt to derail further national discussion on this issue.

The Indiana Court of Appeals held that the plaintiffs did not state a claim upon which relief might be granted, but then they went ahead and visited some of the underlying merits of the case in a rather cavalier manner. Since any appeal of this decision will be dismissed on other procedural grounds, no appellate court will ever review them on this issue. The upper courts will simply deny the appeal without reaching this aspect. So they took a crack at stopping this in its tracks.

And they failed miserably. And it’s very encouraging. The arguments presented by the Indiana Court of Appeals are weak. The facts used by them are also a fantastic attempt at propaganda. For example:

With regard to President Barack Obama, the Plaintiffs posit that because his father was a citizen of the United Kingdom, President Obama is constitutionally ineligible to assume the Office of the President. The bases of the Plaintiffs‟ arguments come from such sources as FactCheck.org, The Rocky Mountain News…

That’s interesting. Later in the decision they reject this fact. Amazing. It appears that the Indiana Appellate Court was not willing to accept that Barack Obama Sr. was the President’s father. That alone tells you something was rotten in Denmark. But the legal arguments they proceed upon, particularly their selective quotations from the Minor and Wong Kim Ark cases illustrate a wonderful example of a court acting as one of the advocates.

Their main argument is to state that citizens are only born or naturalized. That fails to take into account the framers (and other original citizens) who themselves were neither born citizens nor were they naturalized. So the Court proves itself a bit wonky on that point. Still, I certainly do not dispute that today all US citizens are either born or naturalized. But that’s not the point. The necessary evaluation requires consideration of the various types of born citizenship. And on this important issue, the Indiana Court of Appeals has failed.

Born citizens can be broken up into three groups:

    1. natural born

    2. citizens by statute

    3. 14th amendment citizens

    – All three classes were born as US citizens, but not all three are the same. Persons born abroad are citizens by federal statute.

    – A person born on US soil to alien parents who were domiciled here, according to Wong Kim Ark, is a 14th Amendment citizens.

    – Natural born citizens are born on US soil to parents who are citizens.

All of the above are citizens, but each reaches their citizenship through different circumstances.

To be “natural born” is a circumstance of citizenship. It is not a separate level of citizenship. All citizens have equal rights. If that was not true, then naturalized citizens would be eligible for the office of President. But they aren’t. This is because the natural born citizen clause is a national security measure, not a right of citizenship. The Indiana Court conveniently ignores this point.

Born citizens are not necessarily bestowed with citizenship in the same way. Some require a statute. Some require the 14th Amendment. Some were natural born and their citizenship was self-evident.

The Indiana court also pointed to dicta in a 7th Circuit Court of Appeals case which labelled two children of an illegal alien as natural born. That case stated:

The petitioner has a wife and two children under the age of three in Chicago; the children are natural-born citizens of the United States.

But nothing about the issue was discussed. The children were mentioned in passing dicta. Whether the children were natural born was not an issue in that case. And it was a mistake for the court to say they were natural born.

The Indiana Court of Appeals acknowledges that the Supreme Court in Wong Kim Ark did not hold that the man was a natural born citizen. Essentially, the Indiana court acknowledges that the US Supreme Court exercised judicial restraint, but the Indiana Court of Appeals here doesn’t feel that they are restrained in that regard. How brave of them.

Furthermore, the Indiana Court chose to ignore the most relevant aspect of Wong Kim Ark where the SCOTUS clearly indicated that Wong Kim Ark was not natural born:

Every citizen or subject of another country, while domiciled here, is within the allegiance and the protection, and consequently subject to the jurisdiction, of the United States. His allegiance to the United States is direct and immediate…and his child, as said by Mr. Binney in his essay before quoted, ‘If born in the country, is as much a citizen as the natural-born child of a citizen…’

That tells you right there that the child of the citizen and the child of the alien are not both natural born.

“…and his child… ‘If born in the country, is as much a citizen as the natural-born child of a citizen…”

Justice Gray does a very revealing compare and contrast here:

    – he compares two children

    – on the one hand, he mentions the US born child of a resident alien

    – on the other hand, he mentions the “natural-born” child of a citizen

He clearly states that only one is natural-born: the child of the citizen.

He says that both are citizens. But only the child of the citizen is natural born – for this is what he is comparing the other one to. So the holding indicates Wong Kim Ark was as much a citizen as any other citizen despite not being natural-born.

The Court does not say that the child of the alien is a natural-born citizen.

The Indiana Court conveniently ignored this analysis. And that comes as no surprise to me. They had to ignore it because there was no possible way for them distinguish it.

I can’t remember who asked me, it may have been kittycat, who wanted to know where MissTickly went. AKA Terri K. I have been unable to confirm she is ok as of 10/21. She was scheduled to appear on the Awakening on the 21st. There is no archive of that show but there is one of her on 10/19. Her last post on FReep was just before midnight of the 21st. Her blog is gone and wiped from the wayback machine as well. I have emailed her and others but have not gotten a reply. I am concerned.
I am concerned as well. Just before the sight went down those that followed were anticipating her theory based on the e-mail requests to HI. I would think Leo could contact her.

  25. The jury is out still on a strong leader to take on the country and it’s woes…..I still say Palin is the one who has taken the most abuse and is still standing!!

  26. Linda from NY,

    From previous thread.
Geeez…the more I learn about this “pig,” the more infuriated I become.

How could the FBI have been aware of all of this incriminating evidence and not known he was a “ticking time bomb?”

Would you or anyone have wanted this guy counseling your loved ones?

PS There will be no “circumstantial evidence” in his trial IMHO.

One of the reasons for my post is that it is unclear why he chose psychiatry as a specialty, bc he certainly did not fit into the mold, not even come close.

So the next question is, was he a plant used for some other purpose other than “counselling”.

As I said before he was the doctor who needed to be the patient. Judging from his “presentation” at grand rounds his version of deranged appears to be an institutionalized version of normal, condoned by religious affiliation. That’s what is scary.

  27. Yes, Prairie, it was me that asked you about Miss Tickly. I don’t see that Leo has posted anything on it either. At least he could answer, that is, if he knows anything.

  28. Prairie, Thank you for bring that forward. I contacted Leo about a week ago and have not heard anything.

  29. Doug Hoffman was just on Cavuto. Said he may have to take action regarding election outcome!

  30. I’d like to see a candidate run on the platform of,

If you vote for me, I’ll bring a lawsuit against Mr.Obama to prove his citizenship, within the first 24 hours of me taking office.

That’s change we can believe in.

  31. everybody………………………………………

No matter what the prevailing circumstances are you need to do your homework on each and every candidate running for office. 39. I do not trust Huckabee. There was a rape case or something in his home state and he let the guy out or something that really got some people worked up…THEY DID NOT WANT HIM TO ADVANCE.
Then,he did the Wal-Mart thing with illegals..pushing for DREAM ACT…etc…
    Snake-oil salesman in my book.

  40. OS77,

I’m glad that you said that. We’re going to have to really, really research our candidates. I usually have voted straight Repub. , but no more. I want to know what these jokers stand for.

  41. Huckabee is a likable guy; soft-spoken and not apt to “go off the deep end,” but not POTUS material IMHO.

If he is complicit in the eligibility issue as many of you have said, then I cannot trust him to lead.

The “lesser of two evils” vote never appealed to me…that expression just irks me.

I am looking for the man/woman who is a proponent of the “greater good.”

They have to be more than willing to “talk the talk;” they will have to demonstrate to me they can “walk the walk.”

We need to vote in those who are willing to “fight” for the Constitution to be upheld, and the Declaration of Independence to be respected.
I am certain that will be easy to determine from what we already know.

  42. As Isaid in an earlier comment, WRH screwed up,and HAD to know what was going on with him, but instead of dealing with it they chose to send a ticking time bomb somewhere else to explode, and EXPLODE IT DID! They need to nail the MORONS at WRH, for shirking their jobs.

  43. I’m not interested in Mike Huckabee in any way, shape, or form.

Firstly, he is much too soft spoken. He sounds like a therapist. A person either has leadership qualities, or he doesn’t. Mike doesn’t.

Secondly, he is a typical republican.

Thirdly, he looks like Gomer Pyle.

    Fourthly, I support Sarah Palin.

  44. Buraq ’08

  45. Linda and SueK–thanks for asking about my mother. She is OK but sleepy today. Slept through her bath when the health aide came.

    Linda–glad you liked the giggle!

Maddie–how are things with your folks?

All–I’m not on much these days…but still thinking of you!

  46. Governor Palin would be my first choice.
Last election I chose Duncan Hunter and he dropped out 3 days later. His positions were right in line with mine. Now, I have to really check out the possibilities of my choice continuing the run.

  47. My Hope is that people like Huckabee will visit blogs like this one and discover
the truth and how the American people feel about politicians.
Even Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity were either not informed or held back last year.
Perhaps Huckabee will pay attention. He has a large audience.

PS-Do you see where I am coming from?

  48. Sorry if I’m reposting:

Beck’s show (which I missed the beginning of, so I don’t know where he is or any details). He is with a LIVE audience. Beck is the only white person on the set.

  49. Beck’s show is very interesting – regarding racism & politics.

Beck’s show is very interesting to me as someone who live a fairly secluded life in small town flyover country. I try to understand the urban and black issues but at times I’m lost.

today. You would think we could have a break for a few days while he is gone.

  52. Beck’s show is great!

  53. Thanks for your comments on Huckabee.
    I intend to post them.
    I planted a seed today.
Give me some of his worst comments about birthers, etc.

  54. I love the Beck shows that have an audience that participates in the discussions. People need to listen to what these people are saying. Sadly, a great majority of minorities will not be watching. The Russian young man brought me to tears. He could be another show for Beck!

  55. When I went to the Country Republican party, I mentioned Deals inquiry, to someone who works in the Rep’s office. Thought maybe he would be interested in getting the inquiry going. We shall wait and see what happens. This whole situation feels like a horror flick that doesn’t end. I guess Men aren’t born with a set anymore. 😦

  56. oops typo county

  57. TV on at 5:00 , off at 6:00 ……….

  58. @ Citizenwells:

Heh, sorry. Sometimes I can get carried away.

Since the 2008 elections. I find that my patience is very thin for certain republicans. What really bugs me the most is that the GOP seems incapable of producing conservative leaders. I am very bothered by what seems to be the GOP’s intention to run the exact same failed candidates from 2008 as if they have learned nothing at all.

If they try to nominate McCain, Romney, or Huckabee again, I think my head may explode.

From my standpoint, Sarah Palin was the only bright spot from 2008.

Ideally, what I would like to see in a candidate is a true conservative fighter, and I really mean a fighter. Mike just comes across as too passive to me. Perhaps I am wrong.

  59. Well…well…well As long as we are “Posting for Peekers,” I have a few choice words to say about NY-23 and a few other concerns:

    1. If Mr. Steele wants to attract Independents, Unaffiliated, and Reagan Democrats, he had better mind his Conservative p’s and q’s and not be backing any Liberal Republicans!

    2. Mr Huckabee: If you are a Conservative Republican, why didn’t you endorse/support Doug Hoffman in NY-23? What took you so long? Were you waiting for Palin and Pawlenty to take the first step before you commented. Yes, you commented; you did not endorse!

    3. In the Congressional Election of 2010, We the People will not put up with your “empty promises.” We are going to hold you accountable for every vote you cast prior to the 2010 Election on every “Stinking Bill” you passed without reading it!

    4. We have a list of those who “passed” on their responsibility in our “Congressional Hall of Shame!” I am sure Mr. Wells would be happy to post the names of those who were elected.

    5. Don’t go trying to fool us into thinking your Liberal Republicans tow the Party Line. We will not be amused! We will not vote for any Liberal of any Party come 2010. We are sick of them!

    6. If you Republicans/Democrats want our vote, you had better be able to demonstrate what you have done in your career to uphold the Constitution of the United States. We want you to take your Oath of Office seriously.

    7. If you are going to create jobs, you had better have a detailed plan how you are going to do that, and how you are going to pay for it. We want details, not promises!

    8. If you are going to turn the economy around, you had better have a detailed plan for that as well or we will not listen to you, and you will not get our vote.

    9. We want to know what your plans are to enhance National Security, how you are going to run the Homeland Security Department [and not harass citizens], and what you are going to do to get the CIA, FBI, and Defense Department working for the American people and not against us by protecting and promoting “whackos” in the Military.

    10. We want to know you will not DIRECT or CONTROL our Health Care, and that we will have a choice about how we want to pay for it. We want “cradle to grave” care without government interference.

    11. We want the Health Care Insurance companies to offer their services across state lines, reduce their premiums and if we pay a higher premium, to cover more! And…we will not pay for the Health Care of illegal aliens!

    12. We do not want you to talk “at us.” We want you to LISTEN! We want you to serve US, your constituents, and not your “special interests.”

Come on…guys…help me here…add to the list!

    Thanks for listening!

I believe the “good” are out there; they just aren’t the choices of either “Party.” I will know them when I spot them. And , no, I will not vote for a Congress person who voted to confirm o. as president. The question of his eligibility is not difficult, and the steps to resolution are very simple.

When I consider all the decisions a Congressperson makes in one day, all the people they help, problems of much greater difficulty that they address, I see clearly that, at crunch time, an infinite list of priorities were and still are more important to each one of them than love of country and love of the Constitution .

As to me, a citizen requesting their representation, I was OFF THE RADAR!! Or, registering as a tiny blip worthy of nothing but escalating ridicule. When a reasonable request, simply resolved, meets with instant, on-going, and over-the-top name-calling from those from whom one has sought help, ya just know something is way wrong here. Not only that, but in the entire arsenal of verbal fencing, name calling? I mean, come on. So boring. So banal.

Even a Governor could step in to get standing for our military folks, for whom this is not a political debate, but a matter of life and death.

The fact that no one has, nor will exercise their authority for their people here, makes my decisions very easy. These people can jabber on all they want. I know the truth. At crunch time, I am dead meat if I am counting on them. They don’t want to have my back; they only want to have my vote.

I sense that any number of patriots out there whom I have never met, would have my back in an instant. That is a humbling and, for me, rather novel feeling.

To me, the issue is way beyond likeability, or what we have in common, or even how a potential leader has voted. The issue comes down to fittedness. Leading America at this time is history is not the ‘just right’ fit for any of them, imo. They don’t “get it.” Many others do.

So, out with my biases, here. Yes. I vote for their resignations, with one caveat.

If any of them presented impeccable documentation that he or she HAD officially and legally addressed the eligibility issue before or at the Congressional presidential confirmation I might reconsider my assessment.
    Hi, Sue K!!!

  73. Other then the four members of Congress and Sarah Palin , I haven’t heard of any more Conservatives candidates.

    Hi, c.n.d.e. ville II!

    I’ve got your back…

Any candidate is gonna have to prove to ME that they’re worth their salt and are addressing the issues *I* (and the rest of the CWers) know are important, not the least of which is the eligibility issue-everything builds upon that.

In the Senate race to replace Ted Edward Kennedy, all the Dem candidates are calling themselves ‘Progressives.’ To me, that equates with a Socialist agenda, just as we’re seeing in Congress right now. These people advocate everything I detest.

Prove that you’re on the right track, candidate, and I may consider giving you a vote; if you espouse ‘business as usual’ go back under the rock you crawled out from; I have no use for you.

  80. LM: Nothing like “funding the opposition!”

Unfortunately, this is exactly what Just Me has been trying to tell us…it goes on all of the time.

    Thanks for the vid.

I cannot tell you how much I loved those dog videos of “daddy’s home”. There was so much in them. First the dogs, why did the guys ever think the dogs would forget THEM? The houses looked so lived in, friendly and happy-like my family and friends homes. Come on in, relax, have fun. The wives first priority is to make sure husband/daddy dog are happy. The wives stepping back to make sure daddy and dog had a great reunion. I wonder how long the dogs stayed wound up?

    Why not??

Of course, this election fraud is the key to getting BO out of there.

Teaching my 9th graders about the 2008 election cycle, we established, they know the qualifications to be POTUS and, realize no one along the way is required to verify those qualifications. However, states will not allow anyone not qualified for the job to get his or her name printed on the state general election ballots. So, I explained, ‘Some of us asked NP, Chair of the 2008 DNC Convention, on what basis she had ascertained BO is a NBC before Certifying he was to state election officials, so they would print his name next to the D on the general election ballot. She ignored us.’ The students looked confused. ‘What do you suppose that means?’ They replied, ‘That means, she never checked.’ I went on to report that, we then asked Alice Germond, NP’s co-signer, and Secretary of the DNC. ‘People tried using the FOIA, which applies to obtaining documents from government agencies. Ms. Germond passed on the requests sent to her, to Joseph Sandler, the General Counsel to the DNC. He did write back; but just to say, the DNC is not a public agency and, therefore, he does not have to tell us on what documents the DNC based its Certification of BO’s Nomination.’ Now, the students gasped. ‘What do you suppose THAT means?’ The students snickered. ‘That means, they checked; and he is not qualified!’

Mind you, these are inner city kids who support BO’s Presidency in theory; but who are smart enough to know what someone is fooling around with the Constitution.

  104. @ prairie:

That’s an excellent comparison with regard to Huckabee.

“He is the really nice boy in school- that no girl would date. He doesn’t have what it takes to lead.”

These statements could not be more accurate in my opinion.

The only person that I have seen openly opposing obama and his commies is Sarah Palin. In my humble opinion, this fine lady has more balls than any man in the GOP. I am very tired of spineless jelly fish types.

I would also support a Palin/ Beck ticket, or Palin/ Bolton, or Palin/ Bachmann. No more milk toast, no more RINO’s, now is the time to fight.

    @ live oak:

I support the idea of your post, but I don’t know how to make Nazi Pelosi answer anything. When asked where in the constitution does it state that the government has the authority to take over health care, her response was,”Are you serious?”

Aside from sweeping out congress and replacing them with enough conservatives to vote this person out of the speakership, I can imagine no other legal method. San Fransisco certainly is not going to vote her out.

    Hi, c.n.d.e. ville II,

Ya know, I didn’t know enough about Alan Keyes last year to vote for him but I do now, and have a great deal of respect for him! When people call me a racist for my hatred of Barky and his agenda, I simply point to Alan Keyes and tell them I’d vote for him in a New York minute! That shuts them up.

    How about Keyes/Palin in 2012?

Thank you! I plan to be around a bit longer until The Good Lord calls me home. I still have some stuff to do here, so I’d like Him to let me get to it.

I would run for office if my health were a little better but having said that, I can sure scream from the sidelines. And yes, I would give up my life for America.

Nothing, but nothing, gets by the fine folks here at CW. I’ve never seen a site with such knowledgeable folks sharing a wealth of info. I feel it’s the only way to get it done!

    Fernley Girl // November 13, 2009 at 3:40 pm

I don’t understand why any of you want someone who has been a professional politician to run for any office. There are more bloggers here on this site with the common sense to run any government entity than someone who WANTS to be a “leader”.
Most of them think they are smarter than you, have better solutions than you, and in the process, are willing to sell their souls to the highest bidder to prove it.

    OK, off my soapbox.
Yeah. Politicians are about politics, thinking in Politicks-ese, seeing every vote and situation in terms of political winds, etc. I want leaders who think in terms of people and of their lives and of doing what’s honorable because it is honorable.

I’m fed up to the brim with plastic people. Where are those people whose word is their bond? No doublespeak nor shifty shifting.

  109. Buraq’08,
I know Frisco will never vote her out, but we can certainly make her life miserable wherever she goes. I’m so fed up with all of them, but especially her. Fighting back and being relentless is the only way. I will never ever give up. I hate Peloser.

  110. I have really never been a fan of Mike Huckabee. Although the other day I heard him in his show and he was okay.

But I’ll tell you this, and I’m sure no one here will agree with me, we don’t do Christmas because of its origins, and I don’t think that I have to tell anyone unless they haven’t studied this themselves. Even the founding fathers didn’t do this holiday. I would think that Mr. Huckabee would know this because isn’t he a preacher or something?

Well, if he is one and he’s even a Baptist one from my understanding, they know and realize the pagan origins of X-mas. Even many christians in today’s time don’t know even that and that the early Christians were against it totally. Also, most don’t even realize in the NT where it talks against these things.

Well, I can’t do what I do for anyone else except for my own house, which is the way it’s done and what I’m responsible for, then the rest has to find out one way or another for themselves.

X-mas wasn’t done in TX until the late 1800s, maybe past 1860s onward, and then it almost died out of boredom until like the 1920s or so.

And I used to have a run-down of states that did it in what years. But it was never done in the mainstream when we became a country. I think it OK it started in 1890. So, see, it’s late.

I’ll have to see if I can find the dates on this because I don’t remember.

BTW, the messiah Yahushua (aka Jesus) wasn’t born then. He was actually born on Oct. 3/4, 7 B.C.E., on a Sat. and actually on the Day of Atonement.

  111. jbjd,

Neither Coakley nor Capuano is any good.

Tim Cahill, the State Treasurer, a reformed Democrap, is running as an Independent, and Scott Brown is running on the Republican ticket.

    Sidebar, just flow around.

Remind you of anyone? From Psalm 64
Kind of makes me think of the 2008 election campaign.

Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy, hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,

from the scheming of evildoers, who whet their tongues like swords, who aim bitter words like arrows, shooting from ambush at the blameless,

shooting at them suddenly and without fear. They hold fast to their evil purpose; they talk of laying snares secretly, thinking, “Who can see us?” Who can search out our crimes? We have thought out a cunningly conceived plot.”

For the inward mind and heart of a person are deep!

  127. c.n.d.e. ville II // November 13, 2009 at 8:38 pm

c.n.d.e. ville II, Ok, no sidelines however, I will support those worth anything on the *front lines.*

Will find out about SEIU and the pigs. As you know, I have the delivery system (slingshots and catapult).

Regarding Ft. Hood, I posted last week that it appeared that Hasan was paralyzed; news reports today seem to confirm that. There’s a whole lot more to this story however, it’s under lock and key right now. Will keep chipping away.

Fines, yeah. They built that stinker of a bill on the MA model, which has been a dismal failure. To date, I know of no one who’s been arrested in MA for not carrying health insurance. I’d like to see where they’re planning to put all the people nationally who neither need nor want health care. Blowing smoke out the old butt, if you ask me.

Can you just hear the conversation in jail?

Prisoner #1-I’m in for first-degree murder
    Prisoner #2-I’m in for extortion
Prisoner #3-I’m in for blowing up a federal courthouse
Prisoner #4-I’m in because I didn’t buy health insurance.

  128. Now that Obama/Holder have moved the Gitmo Detainees into the Federal Court System, they are going to walk FREE.

The defense will be able to argue they were tortured to get info out of them, and they will walk………FREE!

It will be a mistrial, and/or dismissed on a technicality.

This is a treasonous move, and Obama is doing this intentionally, to set his brothers free.

  129. “c.n.d.e, when I read the Psalm that you have listed, it reminds me of the elect, which between the messiah and the elect, honestly, most the Psalms are about them. ”

Then you have to define “the wicked” in Yahweh’s eyes and not in mankind’s eyes, because many things that mankind does, he doesn’t think they are wicked. Yet in Yahweh’s eyes, they are wicked.

So go and define “the wicked” in Yahweh’s eyes, and keep in mind that it’s in his eyes, not our eyes, and see what you come up with. I.e., you have to study what “wicked” is in his eyes. Mankind has a different definition, I promise you. I know many conservatives that think they are not wicked in Yahweh’s eyes. And yet I know many liberals that they think that the conservatives are wicked.

What I’m trying to tell you is this, it’s what’s in Yahweh’s eyes that count to whether something is wicked or not. Yahweh has many wicked things that he teaches mankind not to follow, but mankind thinks in his own mind they are not wicked and for example, mankind thinks that he can clean up the pagan things! Not! In mankind’s eyes, he can do this and think it’s okay. But that’s like trying to dress up a pig and make it clean. It will never be a clean food. However, they could be a good pet. And we don’t eat our pets, at least I don’t.

So go and study this, deeply, and don’t just read that Psalm because most of the Psalms are geared towards the elect, that 144,000, and the messiah, although we can find comfort in them. They are also for the assembly of Yahweh when it comes about.

This was accompanied by a five minute daily ration of mandatory participation in Bible study each morning before formal studies began. Grades 1-8. Bible reading done by PRINCIPAL over PA SYSTEM. It didn’t HARM me, nor did it corrupt my soul. If a PRINCIPAL was to behave in this way today he would be sued by probably all of the students’ parents. Very sad day! “Mr. Dominguez did not come quietly, but in the end he came,” said Sam Whitlock of the U.S. Border Patrol, who was injured during the arrest. “He pulled a knife on me, like they will, and swore a bunch in Spanish and spit on us when we finally managed to grab him by the serape and throw him against a wall. But the important thing is that he’s now back where he belongs.”

  141. Obama’s War on America

  142. oldsalt77 // November 13, 2009 at 8:46 pm

Wanna know the REAL reason why Soetoro went to Asia? He wanted to be out of the US when Holder announced that the Gitmo prisoners were to be prosecuted in US Federal court. Now they can have all of the Constitutional rights that are normally given only to US citizens. HEY OBAMA BUTTHOLE! THESE GUYS ARE WAR CRIMINALS! THAT IS WHY THE HAGUE EXISTS. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?

You have nailed it again! Soetoro in the Orient
great time to drop the “bomb”—–GITMO terrorists are going to get all the rights of American citizens in trials on our mainland—WTH is going on here?!!!
Khalid S. Mohammed will be coming to NYC–
Mr. Mastermind of 9/11 — and he will be defended on our mainland in our courts instead of in a Military Tibunal (which as Anne Coulter said tonight had already begun on him and Obama halted!!!) Now the families of 9/11 victims will have to watch this terrorist as he
mocks and humiliates Americans. It is so unacceptable I have no words to describe what the “idiot” has just done. Patriots REVOLT. Our time IS here!

    Sue K:

Yeah! I’m waiting for the media’s proud moments of showing the mug shots of big bag healthcare shirkers on their nightly news.

Glad to know no one is paying attention to the law in MA.

I’m already mapping out my strategy to sue for false arrest in re: to any of the unconstitutional legislation passed this year, should that come my way.

I have the highest regard for law enforcement and their savvy to see what’s coming down the pike. No way will they be the dictatorship’s little henchpeople.

So, with law enforcement and military staying sane, knowing when to say no, we’re looking good.

    Lou Dobbs/CNN situation. I agree.

    Kittykat —

Seems like part of what you are saying is like seeing the speck in someone else’s eye, but not the log in your own. (I am quite an expert at that by the way. I need more practice at log extraction than at speck examination.)

No disrespect, but, for some reason, even the word, pig, in any context now sets off convulsive giggles.

About seeing things from God’s perspective — I remember, when I started reading the psalms, being quite taken aback by some of God’s sentiments. Some of His comments are not kind at all — but really right on and really satisfying reading when I am really REALLY MAD!!

I have noticed how opposing political groups often call each other the same names. I really get a kick out of that (except when I’m calling the names, of course. Then, it’s SERIOUS!)

I get what you mean that God is not a respector of persons. He has the same standard for every single soul.

    Thanks. I appreciate the input.

  146. Jacqlyn wrote: The jury is out still on a strong leader to take on the country and it’s woes…..I still say Palin is the one who has taken the most abuse and is still standing!!

Yep, I’d vote for Sarah Palin to be president. No problem at all.

  147. Look, c.n.d.e (can’t you pick an easier name to type). Oh my, I’m typing all those silly periods. Please give us a break! I’m sure that others may not have the problem that I do typing all those commas. It’s just that I have to type that all the time for my job.

Anyway, you’re saying that I’m picking into the speck of someone’s eye? How exactly do you think this? I’m not doing that at all. How is explaining to you that many of the Psalms are for the elect (the 144,000) sons of Israel and for the messiah? How is that bothering you in any way? If it’s bothering you, then I do have to tell you that you need to study it.

Also, you must name your “god.” Sorry, I don’t know who you’re talking about. Are you talking about Allah (a pagan deity) or are you talking about the eloahim of the Bible, i.e., Yahweh? People are going to have to figure out who they are worshiping. It’s not going to be the “Lord” unless they are worshiping them, then when they figure that one out, they won’t want to be worshiping him. They will want the deity in the Scriptures named Yahweh. So please define what you mean by “god.”

Keep in mind that “god” can be a generic class name of the deities. It can get translated as the eloahim (collective noun), the eloahi (collective noun also), the el (singular), the eloah (can be singular). So you’re saying “god,” exactly what do you mean and who do you mean?

I can’t believe that the Americans haven’t figured this out yet. They are stuck on not studying, and it’s especially important now so they can fight the enemy and realize who he is.

  148. Sorry, correction, typing all those periods, not commas. Oh, my!

  149. BTW, everyone, there is nothing wrong with having pigs. They are wonderful animals that Yahweh created for a purpose. It’s just that I don’t eat them. They are unclean like dogs and cats and unclean animals (and people). It’s just that with the unclean animals that people eat, it has a much higher meaning in the Scriptures. Eating an unclean animal means that you are eating of sin, eating of the world. But if you fancy eating a pig, you can eat one when it’s not on a sacred feast day, and then it’s bad.

Personally, if I smell pig cooking now, I get sick to my stomach. It has a rank smell that has an after effect to it. It just flat stinks!

However, I sure wouldn’t cook a dog either or a cat. Both are unclean just like a pig. Pigs have their purpose, like I have seen stories of pigs that are smarter than dogs, no joke! Well, you can always have one as a pet. They really are smart.

Just don’t let one go hungry. I have heard a story of a pig who ate someone. Nasty! I guess a dog could do that too.

Awww, GB, that article got me started again…

Yes, a protest with tampons-brilliant! You can spin ’em around with those little strings on there, then let ’em go; they should fly pretty well.

We saw a lot of straw hats with tea bags sewn on the edges at the tea parties; this time, just sew tampons on. Now *that* should make a fashion statement!

I have to stop now-the compromised brain is going into overdrive…

  151. c.n.d.e. ville II

Any way Tea Parties can be happening outside the 9/11 terrorist “trials.” ??? Any way people can be lining the streets in support of the 9/11 victims families?

One thing, this decision to hold the trials here will probably bring out TONS of support for the families and huge expressions of patriotism.

Hopefully more people will get a clue that this guy hates us. What does it take for a nation to finally say NO! ??

Yeah. Pigs just bring on the laugh spasms.

No specks in your eye. I was just extrapolating from what you said about everyone calling each other wicked, instead of seeing things from God’s perspective.

From this and other of your posts I can tell that you have studied quite a lot.

Okay, here goes the pig laughter again.

  154. @c.n.d.e.:

I’m not sure it would be a good idea to gather in large numbers in any area near these people. It may make such an area an even more desirable target.

  155. c.n.d.e. ville II // November 13, 2009 at 10:11 pm

    Hey, c.n.d.e. ville II,

Wonder if they’ll mug for the mug shots?

In the land of Kerry and Cadillac Deval, the laws are changed on a whim to fit the situation. They just changed the law to allow Cadillac to ‘appoint’ a temporary replacement in The Senate for Chappaquiddick Teddy. Whatever suits them is the law today.

Please post strategy for false arrest when it’s finished…we can use it as a template to help everyone who’ll be an unwilling guest of the state.

I’m trusting law enforcement and the military to do the right thing; the Oathkeepers are prime examples of the way it should be.

Pig giggles, eh? Well, my two guinea pigs have volunteered their services for the cause. Although they’re not from Guinea and are not pigs, maybe the name alone will strike fear onto the hearts of the real Islamic extremists and they’ll run as fast as they can away from the little…rodents :).

Just highlight the name and hit ‘control C’ to copy, then, hit ‘control V’ to paste. No commas, no periods, no problems!

  158. jbjd-Thank you again for clarifying all of the machinations that Nancy Pelosi and the DNC used to accomplish this fraudulent nomination. If all the personalities are subtracted it is about the process-and they certainly pulled out all of the stops to insure that Obama was installed.
I know how hard many people worked or contributed financially, volunteered etc. for their particular candidates, thinking that our country would have a free and honest election. How naive and innocent we all were. I think this lady speaks so well about the process and the abuse of process for all the candidates, for her it just so happened to be Hillary.
I’m still amazed and impressed at how you were able to connect all of the dots, your students too. What do lawyers call this on TV “fruit of the poisoned tree? it all starts with the DNC nomination. In this case I hope justice delayed is not justice denied.

  159. c.n.d.e. ville II

You have stated a plan I can get behind, for sure!!!

  160. c.n.d.e. ville II

From my point of view, which reads like a folkloric tale of olde, obama/biden did not literally win the election, which means, McCain/Palin did, which means Palin is actually the true, but maliciously displaced, v.p. or actually president, if an investigation of McCain’s citizenship, held before the Congressional Confirmation, of course, concluded that he is ineligible. Ta Da!!

With all the documented vote fraud to date (and imagine what is still uncovered), no way did America vote the death ticket in ’08, a fact which gives me much hope for our country despite the trying times.

Just think what the country’s missing right now.

So, that’s my take on it, for what it’s worth.

  161. Michelle,

Thank you; I know. It’s always been about the process. Not definitions, not COLB’s, not spin. The law says, to get on the ballot in several states, candidates must be qualified for the job. NP (et. al) Certified BO was a NBC. But to date, she has refused to answer this question: on what basis did you ascertain he was qualified before you signed that Certification? It’s so simple. What if every time any one involved in ‘outing’ BO, whether on a blog, or in the grocery store, discussed the issues, the first question was this: On what basis did NP Certify to state election officials BO was qualified for the job? If people say anything about HI officials said… stop them. No; you are asking about what NP used before August 27, 2008, when she signed that Certification. If people say the COLB… stop them. ‘Are you claiming she would use a computer image of a heavily redacted document he posted on the web site he paid for, to swear to state election officials he is a NBC?’ If they say yes then, ask them: ‘If what you say is true then, why do you suppose no one at the DNC will admit to using that COLB as the basis for their Certification?’ You get the point.

I am going after Bob Bauer, the lawyer who signed the pleadings to try to bamboozle the court to take judicial notice of phantom computer images.

  162. Just as FYI, I have written to boxer and pelosi and asked what documents they used to verify oboma was eligible to be President under the Constitution. So far, I have not received an answer. I wrote over 2 months ago.

  163. c.n.d.e. ville II

    Sue K.

Even your pets are laying everything on the line for our country. I’m sure they will be quite good at sneaking behind the enemy lines and working mayhem and mischief to foil the enemy’s plots.

Yes. I will post my get-out-of-jail-free card, at least I hope so. If things are so bad I end up in jail anyway, I figure, that’ll be the safest place to be, because all the bad guys will be outside.

I’m trusting Oath Keepers are keeping pace with their ‘will not obey’ orders like:

    We will not obey
orders to arrest American citizens for not having health insurance ( that just sounds so hilarious for some reason)
orders to arrest American citizens for not performing an abortion
orders to arrest American parents for bearing more than two children
orders to arrest American citizens for refusing to have an abortion
orders to force American citizens to submit to an abortion procedure

Oath Keepers are the BEST group.

MA sounds like what the Create Your Own Reality As Long As I Am the One Making All the Imaginary Rules gang wants for the rest of the country. Maybe they each want their own state.

Kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.

MA colonists must be rolling over in their graves.

  164. c.n.d.e. ville II // November 13, 2009 at 11:29 pm

Yes, c.n.d.e. ville II, the piggie girlies are willing and able to help. One of them should have her own TV show…

I hope that the ranks of the Oathkeepers explodes; the more who know what’s happeniong to America, the more the group will grow. I’ve read their web page and it makes me weepy. Such Patriots!

Each politician here is his/her own country. Honestly, I don’t know where these people come from, but most need to slither back into their holes in which case, the guinea pigs will root ’em out.

It’d be nice if the U.S.S. Constitution (‘Old Ironsides’) would blast her cannons toward the State House and clean ’em all out!

BTW, she fires her cannons in the morning and evening. Now, she’s the oldest commissioned warship in America and as you may know, fought brilliantly in the War of 1812. We’re *so* lucky to have her here but apparently, not everyone thinks so. A condo complex went up about 4 years ago and the ‘residents’ are complaining about the cannon fire twice per day.

Political correctness aside, they must be giving out stupid pills down there.

  165. c.n.d.e. ville II

Without a doubt, her guinea show would be more intelligent and interesting than any other show I can think of at the moment.

Cleaning out state houses needs to be our national pasttime for the next year.

So Pelosi said, “Are you serious?” when someone asked her about the Constitutional basis for the deathfare bill?
Wish I’d been there. I woulda said, “Are YOU serious? Of course I’m serious. You do know what I’m talking about, don’t you? No Constitutional authority means I do not have to give this 2,000 page secretly written bundle of bunk a second thought.”

Anyway, I posted this statute before. If I get a judge who takes a page out of the MA Legal Handbook, though, I will really have to think fast, won’t I?

Hmmm. I’m pretty good at spinning out my own imaginary rules, too. Maybe he or she’ll give me points for creativity.

I am treating all legislation signed by o. as unconstitutional.

That’s just me. He’s not the president. I owe him nothing. To agree that these laws are binding upon me as an American citizen is to lie.

I believe I ultimately give an account to God for my decisions, so I really like to keep to the truth as much as possible. lol He does not get fooled AT ALL.

If a court rules differently, that doesn’t change the facts. I don’t have to play Charades, if I don’t want to.

I will have to accept the consequences of my decisions, though. Just like everyone else does.

Also, I plan to sue, Sue, SUE for false arrest, false imprisonment, whatever else applies, and sue everyone up and down the line of the arrest warrant, including everyone who voted yes to whichever bogus bill I am in “in” for.

I very much love, respect, honor, and pray for law enforcement people, but I will sue the one who illegally serves me with a warrant.

If I win, perhaps I can return monies to the arresting officer. I wish him/her no ill.

I will use my loot to fund other such legal endeavors.

Oh, here’s the rule. I know the founders of our nation be in accord with my actions.

“The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of it’s enactment, not merely from the date of the decision branding it.

“No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it.” — 16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177, late 2d, Sec 256.

Also, my other defense is that o. is not the president. In my imaginary world, the court will have to prove that he is, in order to convict me beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I just am not sure how to get beyond the Let’s Pretend part. Let’s all pretend that the court did prove that point; who needs distracting things like evidence and such like.

Also, prayer. Prayer is an amazing help, as I know you know, from what you said about your health condition.

Course, that’s my talk, but who knows how something would really play out. I am not a brave person, quite stubborn if need be, but not really brave. I just know, in life, there are some things I cannot, will not do. Just can’t.

So, there’s my strategy, for what it’s worth.

  166. Napolitano said the Obama administration is working to end the recession and put Americans back to work but said giving legal status to illegal aliens will “strengthen our economy.

How is making illegals who most qualify for food stamps and govt assistance going to stimulate this economy????? …they will pull state funds and worsen the deficits that are strangling states now.

“Requiring illegal immigrants to register to earn legal status, as I discussed earlier, will strengthen our economy as these immigrants become full-paying taxpayers,”

At minimum wage, these people don’t pay taxes, just draw govt assistance, food stamps, etc.

make it easier for Congress to pass new immigration laws???

Hey, how about enforcing the immigration laws on the books now??

Included in that shift, Napolitano said, is a more secure border between the United States and Mexico, tougher law enforcement that has resulted in more arrests of criminal illegal immigrants and confiscation of contraband, and fewer people coming into the country illegally because of current economic conditions.

Where have we heard this before???

“Moreover, the immigration debate in 2007 happened during a period of historically high levels of illegal entry into the United States. Two years later, because of better enforcement and the current economic circumstances, those numbers have fallen sharply. The flow has reduced significantly – by more than half from the busiest years, proving we are in a much different environment than we were before.

The immigration debate??? the one in which the citizens of America shut down the phone and fax lines into the White House??? that immigration debate??
And, Immigration numbers have only fallen because unemployment is at 12% and the illegal Mexicans went home to mooch off their own govt.
The flow has reduced because many states have cut off the milk of honey they were receiving, dumba**!!!

    Okay, I’m finished now……..Geeze, stupid b****.

  177. It seems there isn’t one judge in America with the stones to order Sotoero to produce his documents. That means at best there might be another way to take him out. At worst we will be stuck with him until his term ends or declares martial law and becomes permanent dictator.

However, this may be the best way to go. Everyday this puppet is in office he manages to offend a few thousand more people who originally supported him. Every day he is in office he makes glaring blunders that are indefensible and forces more Americans to awaken and become active in protests against him. From day one he has clearly revealed his inexperience, contempt of America, and a reckless disregard for America’s money. His henchmen have to constantly make up lame excuses and explanations for him.

He going down in the polls in a most humiliating way. I know most of you feel this process is too slow. We would like him out 10 months ago. Nevertheless, if we should get lucky enough, one of Obama’s blunders will be so severe as there is a point of no return, then when he is forced to leave the office–a huge majority in America will be cheering.

The remedial work of restoring America will be that much easier because Americans will have become very clear in what they want. There will be less apathy when voting.

Huckabee is likable but disingenous to me. What specifically turned me against him was his denial about Obama’s ineligibility to be president.

The man or woman who would be our next president will do so if He/she runs on the platform of restoring America to the republic under the Constitution, promising to challenge Obama’s sealed documents, tightening the borders, repealing the health care plan –if Senate passes it and redefining America as a Christian/Judeo country. In my observations I think Palin has the guts to do this. It also may well depend upon who runs with her and if she stays with the Republicans or creates a third party.
