Obama and the DNC have filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Philip J Berg. Mr. Berg filed the lawsuit in Federal Court on August 21, 2008 and stated that Obama was not qualified to be president. If Obama does indeed have proof of US citizenship, he would be a fool not to present it. Obama is running and trying to hide from this issue. John McCain produced a vault version of his COLB. Why has Obama not done so?
Obama is guilty in the court of accountability and credibility and should either prove US citizenship or withdraw from the election.

I kind of saw it that way too CW, but they are also stating that the McCain campaign just had their lawsuit dismissed without showing any proof of citizenship. Is that right?
McCain’s circumstances were different and he already produced a vault copy of COLB.
Mr. Berg seems confident. I will await the judge’s decision.
I have a feeling we know how this is going to end-Lawsuit will be dismissed and Obama can laugh at everybody. He is such a scumbag. It is really a sad state of affairs when you cannot question the qualifications of a candidate for President.
Has anyone straight out asked the US Department of State (Rice), for this information? (in charge of issuing passports)

It is not easy to get a US passport without a ridiculous amount of documentation, even if you are naturalized (been there, done that).
It would seem to me that since BO is running for the highest office in our nation, the documents surrounding his passport, would be public information… ??

I don’t get it. All he has to do is produce his birth certificate and passport. Then this all goes away. What is he trying to prove. Let’s hope the judge says the same thing!
One would think Senator Obama, who is the candidate of change and on the cusp of ushering in a new era of politics would only be too happy to appease the voters and provide this information – unless, of course, he’s a fraud.
There is a simple way to defeat the argument that “plaintiff has no standing to challenge the qualifications of a candidate for President of the United States.” In fact, if this were true, than NO PERSON had such standing to demand that a presidential candidate should prove that he is a natural born citizen; yet, it is clearly in the interest of the PUBLIC that the constitution be enforced and only legally qualified people be allowed to run. Therefore, the court should rule that EVERY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC has standing in such a case.
I understood that there were other problems besides OB’s birth certificate and passport. What about his Indonesian citizenship? Barry’s use of his step-father’s name Sortero ?

I am concerned by the egregious comments being made about Sen. Obama. Let me preface this by saying that I am NOT a supporter of his. Must he or anyone running for office be forced to disprove all of the accusations made about them? Sen. Obama has been held to a far higher set of standards then any other political candidate in history with accusations made by Larry Sinclair, to his being a radical Muslim, a Jew, to his plan to spread the militant wing of Islam throughout the world.
If tangible evidence can be offered up, and legally so (has any other President been asked on a public level to prove his citizenship or to produce a birth certificate?) without it becoming discriminatory which IS illegal, then we should take it very seriously. What prompted Mr. Berg’s campaign in the first place?

Obama was not vetted by the DNC and has been given a free ride by the press. That is why you are seeing the level of scrutiny from citizen journalists and lawsuits coming forth.
