Another smoking gun concerning Barack Obama and his lies and hypocrisy. How did I miss this one. It is documented by ABC news by Jake Tapper April 11, 2007. We know that Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s pastor and mentor for 20 years is a racist, anti semite and fomentor of inflammatory hate filled messages. Obama chose to associate with Jeremiah Wright for 20 years. Obama chose to attend the same church as Louis Farrakhan, an even more racist, and anti semite. Compare the “nappy headed ho” comment of Don Imus that got him fired last year. Now, Don Imus was certainly wrong to say what he said. But compare that to what Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan have consistently said over many years. Read the following quotes from Barack Obama as recorded by ABC news April 11, 2007:
“I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus, but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.”
“He didn’t just cross the line. He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America. The notions that as young African-American women — who I hope will be athletes — that that somehow makes them less beautiful or less important. It was a degrading comment. It’s one that I’m not interested in supporting.”
“What we’ve been seeing around this country is this constant ratcheting up of a coarsening of the culture that all of have to think about,”
“Insults, humor that degrades women, humor that is based in racism and racial stereotypes isn’t fun,”
“And the notion that somehow it’s cute or amusing, or a useful diversion, I think, is something that all of us have to recognize is just not the case. We all have First Amendment rights. And I am a constitutional lawyer and strongly believe in free speech, but as a culture, we really have to do some soul-searching to think about what kind of toxic information are we feeding our kids,”
The last paragraph says it all. Still think that Barack Obama is not a hypocrite? Still think that Barack Obama is not a liar? Still think that Jeremiah Wright is not a problem?
Read the article from ABC News here:
Give it up. Obama can do anything, hipocritical, morally wrong or not. What’s even best, the press won’t report it.
I will never give up. You are right about the press. Thank God for the internet.
Thanks Paul.
It almost seems hopeless. No matter WHAT Obama does, the media will let him get away with it. I just don’t get how American Jews can support this man. He associates with virulent anti-semites, stays in a church that gives its highest award to a man who called Judaism a “gutter religion” and described Hitler as “a great man”. I don’t get it. I am hoping and praying that McCain chooses Lieberman as his running mate. That will surely make some people do some soul searching.
I agree.
Even though I don’t always agree with Lieberman, I believe he has integrity and tries to do the best for the country.
Did Obama take his children to church? Were they exposed to Wright’s preaching? If so, he must be considered hypocritical.
If my memory serves me well, pastor Wright performed the marriage ceremony and baptisms.
Give me break. “the press won’t report it”. This Jeremiah Wright story has WAY more legs than the Don Imus story. Barack Obama is getting flack for NOT SAYING ANYTHING. HE’S DONE NOTHING WRONG.
Let me point out the obvious differences. Don Imus is a rich white guy with a audience of millions calling young educated black women “nappy headed hos”. Jeremiah Wright is a black pastor in a black church damning America for it’s treatment of minorities. He’s lived through segregation! My guess is everyone here is white. Thus cannot grasp the feelings of anger and disenfranchisement of the black community. Seems like everyone here would rather hear “God bless America for it’s treatment of minorities.”
what a joke.
hey Ariel.. you know McCain has support from John Hagee right? Do you know that he supports Israel not because he supports Jews but they think that Jews must occupy the “holyland” to bring about the Rapture. So a lot of this Evangelical support you see for Israel is in fact the support for the end of Israel.
Jeremiah Wright is responsible for his actions.
Barack Obama is responsible for his actions.
John Hagee is responsible for his actions.
Jeremiah Wright is no better than Adolf Hitler for hate speech and blaming others. Barack Obama is no better than a Hitler Youth for following pastor Wright for 20 years. This is simple enough for a school child to understand.
You obviously aren’t up on your history.
Read up on the 20th Century. You’ll see that Hitler was man responsible for the murder of millions of innocents.
I guess Pat Robertson is much like Hitler..and the millions of his American followers are the Hitler Youth?
simple indeed!
I am very well read up on history.
Break out the books or keep reading this blog.
This is a different era. What we are fighting for are the minds and souls of young people to keep them from being polluted by the likes of Wright and Farrakhan.
you’re not too up on history if you’re comparing Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler.. I mean that’s just ignorance… and irresponsible.
I’m actually for free speech and against oppression of ideas. I think civil disobedience is not only a right but in some cases a duty.
Your blog name is appropriate..
You seem to be in favor of an Orwellian society.
Have you actually read my blog.
I choose my words carefully.
Here is my most recent comment:
Jeremiah Wright is no better than Adolf Hitler for hate speech and blaming others. Barack Obama is no better than a Hitler Youth for following pastor Wright for 20 years.
As you can see, I compared the comments of Wright to Hitler and the follower of Wright, Obama, to the Hitler Youth.
yeah and it’s a very bad comparison.
tasteless actually.
since you’re so informed on Wright why don’t you tell me what his “final solution” is?
Gassing 6 millions Jews? Is that in there???
I have done extensive reading on the subject:
Let’s go back to Germany in the early 30’s. Adolf Hiltler had been practicing his speeches. The people of Germany were ready for change. In Hitler’s speeches he spoke of racial issues and blamed the jews for the problems in Germany. The German people began getting caught up in the euphoria of promises of change and faulting the jews for their problems. No jews had been shipped to concentration camps or exterminated.
Now, let’s roll forward 60, 70 years. Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan are spewing almost indentical speeches of racial issues and blame. They are even blaming the jews as well as whites.
This is a clear analogy. The question is, are we as Americans going to look the other way like the Germans did? Are we going to ignore the red flags? Don’t try diversionary tactics with me. I am too well informed.
Followup regarding Obama:
I hope that Obama is not that bad. However, the German people probably did not think that those associated with Hitler were that bad. They were too caught up in the moment. I see the same thing happening today. People are swept up by the grandiose rhetoric. I am asking Americans to do some factual research and pick the best candidate for all of the American people.
“When the going gets tough you can’t run away,” [Clinton] said of Obama.
Clinton said: “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.”
Yeah, Obama is the hypocrite. Does this woman even know what goes on in her OWN mind?
citizenwells i like your thinking, if americans are going to fall for this like the germans did, who can we rely on. Certainly isn’t the son of Bill Brasky, but other than that, who can you trust when you have lost almost all hope in a supposed government?
