“Now that the FBI has obtained the needed warrant to start poring over the 650,000 or so emails uncovered in Anthony Weiner’s notebook, among which thousands of emails sent from Huma Abedin using Hillary Clinton’s personal server, moments ago the Us Justice Department decided to also finally join the probe, and as AP reported moments ago, it vowed to dedicate all needed resources to quickly review the over half a million emails in the Clinton case.

In the letter to Congress, the DOJ writes that it “will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible,” assistant attorney General Peter J. Kadzik writes in letters to House and Senate lawmakers.”
“In other words, the best friend of John Podesta, Clinton’s Campaign char, at the DOJ will be in charge of a probe that could potentially sink Hillary Clinton.
For those who missed it, this is what we reported:
The day after Hillary Clinton testified in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi last October, John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign chairman met for dinner with a small group of well-connected friends, including Peter Kadzik, who is currently a top official at the US Justice Department serving as Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs.
The post-Benghazi dinner was attended by Podesta, Kadzik, superlobbyist Vincent Roberti and other well-placed Beltway fixtures. The first mention of personal contact between Podesta and Kadzik in the Wikileaks dump is in an Oct. 23, 2015 email sent out by Vincent Roberti, a lobbyist who is close to Podesta and his superlobbyist brother, Tony Podesta. In it, Roberti refers to a dinner reservation at Posto, a Washington D.C. restaurant. The dinner was set for 7:30 that evening, just one day after Clinton gave 11 hours of testimony to the Benghazi Committee.
Podesta and Kadzik met several months later for dinner at Podesta’s home, another email shows. Another email sent on May 5, 2015, Kadzik’s son asked Podesta for a job on the Clinton campaign.
As the Daily Caller noted, the dinner arrangement “is just the latest example of an apparent conflict of interest between the Clinton campaign and the federal agency charged with investigating the former secretary of state’s email practices.” As one former U.S. Attorney tells told the DC, the exchanges are another example of the Clinton campaign’s “cozy relationship” with the Obama Justice Department.
The hacked emails confirm that Podesta and Kadzik were in frequent contact. In one email from January, Kadzik and Podesta, who were classmates at Georgetown Law School in the 1970s, discussed plans to celebrate Podesta’s birthday. And in another sent last May, Kadzik’s son emailed Podesta asking for a job on the Clinton campaign.
“The political appointees in the Obama administration, especially in the Department of Justice, appear to be very partisan in nature and I don’t think had clean hands when it comes to the investigation of the private email server,” says Matthew Whitaker, the executive director of the Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust, a government watchdog group.
“It’s the kind of thing the American people are frustrated about is that the politically powerful have insider access and have these kind of relationships that ultimately appear to always break to the benefit of Hillary Clinton,” he added, comparing the Podesta-Kadzik meetings to the revelation that Attorney General Loretta Lynch met in private with Bill Clinton at the airport in Phoenix days before the FBI and DOJ investigating Hillary Clinton.”

Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova said Monday during an interview on “The Laura Ingraham Show” that Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Director James Comey, and the Department of Justice as a whole have compromised and sullied the “integrity of the federal investigative process.”
DiGenova hammered Lynch for engaging in blatant political corruption to protect Clinton.
“Nobody does what she did and can explain it with the way she did. And yet, with a smile and a ‘schoolmarm’ attitude, she gives the sophomoric explanations about what happened.”
“Mrs. Lynch is absolutely incompetent and she — there’s just no question that she’s politically corrupt,” diGenova told LifeZette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham. “Nobody does what she did and can explain it with the way she did. And yet, with a smile and a ‘schoolmarm’ attitude, she gives the sophomoric explanations about what happened.”
Expressing his anger and frustration with how the Justice Department handled the Clinton investigation, diGenova said that he is concerned about the “integrity of the federal investigative process” and the “integrity of the FBI.”
“Everybody in that building — from the assistant AG for criminals, the assistant AG for national security, the assistant attorney general for legislative affairs — every single one of them should be ashamed of the roles that they have played in making the Department of Justice into something akin to a local [district attorney’s] office where cases are for sale,” diGenova said.

Ingraham agreed, adding, “I think if there’s going to be any integrity left at the FBI — if there’s going to credibility — that the law applies evenly, no matter who you are, across the board.”
Saying that the FBI’s initial investigation “was not thorough, it was not competent, and it was not professional,” diGenova mourned the levels to which the country has stooped.
“If it had been a thorough, competent, professional investigation with grand juries and search warrants and subpoenas, they would have discovered this new computer. But they did not,” diGenova said.

Both Ingraham and diGenova pointed out how the standards applied to Clinton during the investigation are far from the same standards that have been applied to others facing crimes against the United States. Petty Officer First Class Kristian Saucier, for example, was sentenced to prison in August for taking photos inside classified sections of a submarine.
“How about a poor sailor who is going to prison for a year for taking photographs inside a sub which he never sent to anybody. You know what, if Barack Obama is half the man he says he is and isn’t some pajama boy — why doesn’t he pardon that sailor?” diGenova said. “He has no problem commuting the sentences for drug dealers, murderers, thieves, and he won’t pardon this poor sailor? What kind of a president is he?”
Noting that Obama will have his “whole legacy carried on by this woman under criminal investigation” if Clinton wins the presidency, Ingraham added, “It serves the Democrats right. They’ve hitched their wagons to the Clintons.”
DiGenova agreed, lamenting, “The Democrats don’t care because they have no moral standards whatsoever.”

We’ve heard rumors of this for months now, and now a source confirms that mutinous FBI agents played a leading role in Director Comey’s decision to reopen the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
As The Daily Mail reports:
James Comey’s decision to revive the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server and her handling of classified material came after he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents in the FBI, including some of his top deputies, according to a source close to the embattled FBI director.
‘The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn’t recommend an indictment against Hillary,’ said the source, a close friend who has known Comey for nearly two decades, shares family outings with him, and accompanies him to Catholic mass every week.
‘Some people, including department heads, stopped talking to Jim, and even ignored his greetings when they passed him in the hall,’ said the source. ‘They felt that he betrayed them and brought disgrace on the bureau by letting Hillary off with a slap on the wrist.’
According to the source, Comey fretted over the problem for months and discussed it at great length with his wife, Patrice.
He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents. The letters reminded him every day that morale in the FBI had hit rock bottom.
‘He’s been ignoring the resignation letters in the hope that he could find a way of remedying the situation,’ said the source.
‘When new emails that appeared to be related to Hillary’s personal email server turned up in a computer used [her close aide] Huma Abedin and [Abedin’s disgraced husband,] Anthony Weiner, Comey jumped at the excuse to reopen the investigation.
‘The people he trusts the most have been the angriest at him,’ the source continued. ‘And that includes his wife, Pat. She kept urging him to admit that he had been wrong when he refused to press charges against the former secretary of state.
But Comey’s decision to reopen the case was more than an effort to heal the wound he inflicted on the FBI.
He was also worried that after the presidential election, Republicans in Congress would mount a probe of how he had granted Hillary political favoritism.
His announcement about the revived investigation, which came just 11 days before the presidential election, was greeted with shock and dismay by Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the prosecutors at the Justice Department.
‘Jim told me that Lynch and Obama are furious with him,’ the source said.
It appears that new information — in the form of 650,000 newly-discovered emails found in the investigation into former representative — and husband of close Hillary Clinton aide and confidante Huma Abedin — Anthony Weiner might have pushed Comey over the edge after months of stewing about it.
So, why do you supposed rank-and-file FBI employees, including department heads, would give up their jobs over this? One would have to think there was something there — something not insignificant. Unlike some of the top men and women at the Department of (In)Justice and the FBI, these middle- and lower-level agents had nothing to gain from a particular outcome.
Now, of course, FBI Director James Comey is under incredible fire for coming forward to acknowledge the new information he found.
As even CNN’s Jake Tapper asked of Clinton campaign manager John Podesta: “You and the Clinton campaign seem to be blaming Comey for being transparent with Congress. What was he supposed to do?”

FBI investigators from across the country have been following leads into reports of bribery involving the Clinton Foundation. Multiple field offices have been involved in the investigation.
A report in Sunday’s Wall Street Journal (WSJ) by Devlin Barrett revealed that agents assigned to the New York field office have been carrying the bulk of the work in investigating the Clinton Foundation. They have received assistance from the FBI field office in Little Rock according to “people familiar with the matter, the WSJ reported. Other offices, including Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., have been collecting evidence regarding “financial crimes or influence-peddling.”
As far back as February 2016, FBI agents made the presentation to the Department of Justice (DOJ), the WSJ’s sources stated. “The meeting didn’t go well,” they wrote. While some sources said the FBI’s evidence was not strong enough, others believed the DOJ had no intention of going any further from the start. Barrett wrote that the DOJ officials were “stern, icy and dismissive of the case.”
Barrett wrote, “‘That was one of the weirdest meetings I’ve ever been to,’ one participant told others afterward, according to people familiar with the matter.”
It appears there was a rift between the FBI and the DOJ about how to move forward with the investigation. Agents in the Washington office were directed to focus on a separate issue related to the actions of former Virginia Governor and Clinton Foundation Board member Terry McAuliffe. Agents inside the FBI believed they could build a stronger case if the investigation of McAuliffe and the foundation were combined.
