“NC rejected Obama in the 2012 presidential election.
By now you know that Thom Tillis defeated Kay Hagan. Another rejection of Obama and his policies.
You may have heard that David Rouzer won the NC 7th Congressional District seat.
What you probably did not hear was that Rouzer is the first Republican to win that seat since 1868.”…Citizen Wells November 5, 2014

“It’s easy to look back and realize what a jerk Hitler was. But at the time, Hitler looked pretty good to the German people, with the help of the media. He was TIME Magazine’s Man Of The Year in 1938. The German people assumed they were safe from a tyrant. They lived in a Republic, after all, with strict laws regarding what the government could and more importantly could not do. Their leader was a devoutly religious man, and had even sung with the boy’s choir of a monastery in his youth.”…whatreallyhappened.com

“State Democratic lawmaker switching party affiliation”

“In an unusual move announced Wednesday, state Rep. Paul Tine of Kitty Hawk is changing his party affiliation from Democrat to unaffiliated in hopes of getting more done for his district in the upcoming legislative session, which begins next week.

Tine, a 43-year-old insurance company owner, would become the only unaffiliated member of the General Assembly. He said Wednesday in an interview with the Insider that he also hoped to participate in Republican House caucus meetings throughout the session, meaning he would have a front-row seat as the GOP majority discussed proposed legislation and other issues behind closed doors. House Republicans are expected to decide Friday whether to allow him to participate, but the House leadership is on board and the vote appears to be a formality.

His switch to unaffiliated would leave Democrats with only 45 of 120 seats in the House.

Tine said he believed siding with Republicans would help him better represent his district and be part of shaping legislation rather than reacting to it. He begins his second House term next week, representing four heavily Republican counties in eastern North Carolina – Dare, Hyde, Washington and part of Beaufort. He said the district has significant poverty, transportation and education issues, along with high homeowners’ insurance rates.

“As an independent that is working with the Republican majority, I think I can get more done for a district that needs a lot of attention,” he said.

Tine, who has been a registered Democrat since age 18, considers himself fiscally conservative and a moderate legislator who believes government should stay out of people’s lives as much as possible. He expressed disenchantment with the state Democratic Party, which lost legislative majorities four years ago and since then has had well-documented troubles in leadership and in trying to win back state legislative seats. Tine suggested the party has increasingly moved to the left and that he no longer feels at home there.”

  1. CW……
While we sit on our duffs, and wait for others to become disenchanted with the liberal morons our country continues to degenerate to “SIEG HEIL,SIEG HEIL”. All of the indicators are there= Nazi Germany 1935. The 1000 year REICH is coming to America……..thanks to the TWISTED LEADERSHIP,PSYCHOPATHS,and illiterates among us.

Good afternoon sir, I hope that Charlotte NC,is warmer than Ft.Wayne. It is -11 here. Good day to catch up on your sleep, find a TV soap opera,or ingest a little OLD GRANDAD…….anti freeze! HICCUP!
While I was in the Navy we visited the Arctic Ocean,(Barrow Alaska). We had taken the precaution of having some 100 proof anti freeze, available,so that we could make coffee royals. Being a STEAMSHIP,normally our engine rooms were around 120 degrees F. While we were in the Arctic Ocean our engine room temperature also literally SUBMERGED. I volunteered for boiler operator cross training.. We often spent our 4 hour engine room watch ingesting coffee royals.to compensate.(Sometimes using Greenville County MOONSHINE),if we ran out of OLD GRANDAD. We were NEVER detected. We watched as the DECK APES froze their BIPPIES OFF.

Old sailors like old soldiers……..never die…….we just get embalmed!.

Some with OLD GRANDAD….others with Vodka….still others with MOONSHINE….

God Bless um all (the sailors and soldiers).

  5. AND NOW…….
…….empennage of flight 8501 found, and identified…….but divers could not get close to it because of powerful currents. I strongly suspect that other portions of the fuselage are like shortened oversize mailing tubes and are rolling around on the relatively flat floor of the Java sea. This would account for why bodies are continuing to move free of the wreckage, and float to the surface. Body count now at 41. Shallow sea equals strong currents. Divers are going to attempt to attach lifting straps, and inflatable floats to raise the 3-5 ton section,to which the tail surfaces are attached. Great idea if they can correctly attach the lifting straps. Not an easy lift! Tail section approximately 19 miles away from other debris. The airplane could have broken up early into it’s fall. Airliners are not stressed for airobatics. Aspect ratio (chord) of the wing surfaces is quite low, which increases efficiency at operating altitudes, and airspeed…..but also is contributory to easy stall,if pilot is unaware,of diminishing airspeed.or is unable to adjust airspeed, because his power is not available. Seems to confirm that the engines ingested massive amounts of ice crystals. To do that the airplane had to fly directly into the center of the thunderstorm, where he hit the upward swiriling vortex of heavily moisture laden air(TORNADOLIKE). I believe then a couple of things happened simultaneously, the aircraft became nearly vertical, and the engines flamed out because the moisture was precipitating out of the air and instantly freezing into ice crystals,as does the exhaust from the engines (con trail). If this is accurate then the aircraft could have fallen for quite some distance TAIL FIRST, until an equilibrium was reached. This could have easily used up over half of his 32,000 foot altitude, and he would be falling at a velocity of approx 11,000 feet per minute (125 MPH). If he could not get the nose down because he could not restart the engines, he had only about 1.5 minutes left before the aircraft struck the water. I think it struck the water nearly flat, and perhaps rotating as well.(AXIAL SPIN). Striking the surface at 125mph at a flat attitude would literally explode the fuselage, into many pieces.

    *********

Americans who have studied American History know, the Civil War was fought over far more than the single issue of slavery. Hostilities between the North and the South were far more complicated than this single issue. The same holds true today.

In our heated political climate, the two opposing forces might well be labeled the Left and the Right. Again we see brother against brother, friends and family divided, a line in the sand marked clearly as Big Government vs. Individual Citizens. (Feds vs. Rebs)

    I stand with the Right.

I was disturbed by the this story out of North Carolina which shows how the faith-based attacks like those in Paris take root and fester in small town America: http://allenbwest.com/…/ominous-faith-based-attacks-paris-…/

  8. Young people bear the brunt of Barack Obama’s policies… But then, liberals love a sad teenager, right?

It’s called the ‘Youth Misery Index’ and guess what…. It’s at an all time high.
    Sad, broke, bored, unsatisfied, teens.
