Obamacare crony capitalism hurts Americans employees helps attorneys medical companies, Lawyers top contributors to Obama in 2008, Health care providers and employers with part time workers benefit

“Rising medical costs, “combined with the costs associated with the Affordable Care Act, have made it increasingly difficult to continue providing the same level of health care benefits to our employees at an affordable cost,””…UPS memo

“Can we stop calling ObamaCare the Affordable Care Act now?”…Guilford College student

“Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.”…George Orwell, “1984″

I began referring to Obamacare as a tax and control bill by at least March 26, 2010. It is certainly that.

But it is also another glaring example of Obama crony capitalism.

Obama rewarded his top 2008 industry contributor, lawyers and law firms, and one of his his largest crony groups, with no tort reform.

From Citizen Wells July 30, 2012.

“Doctor Shortage Likely to Worsen With Health Law”

“In the Inland Empire, an economically depressed region in Southern California, President Obama’s health care law is expected to extend insurance coverage to more than 300,000 people by 2014. But coverage will not necessarily translate into care: Local health experts doubt there will be enough doctors to meet the area’s needs. There are not enough now.

Other places around the country, including the Mississippi Delta, Detroit and suburban Phoenix, face similar problems. The Association of American Medical Colleges estimates that in 2015 the country will have 62,900 fewer doctors than needed. And that number will more than double by 2025, as the expansion of insurance coverage and the aging of baby boomers drive up demand for care. Even without the health care law, the shortfall of doctors in 2025 would still exceed 100,000.”

“The American Medical Association recognizes there are shortages in certain geographic areas and in certain specialties. Part of that is due to the aging population and a stagnant number of medical-school applicants.

But there are other significant reasons. They include the increasing costs of medical malpractice coverage, higher practice costs, lower insurance reimbursement rates and insurance-company restrictions resulting in less autonomy over how patients are cared for.”

“Cost of malpractice insurance forcing doctors to leave high-risk specialties

Lawyers benefit from huge damage awards”

“In New Hampshire, many physicians are leaving as malpractice insurance costs soar. Specialty physicians have experienced a 50 percent increase in premiums from five years ago. The average premium is now close to $100,000 for obstetricians and neurosurgeons.”

I was surprised and pleased to find the following article from CNN October 5, 2012.

“Health care act’s glaring omission: liability reform”

“But for all of the Obama administration’s work in creating this 906-page federal law, there is one glaring omission that could decrease the costs of health care and help relieve the upcoming physician shortage.

Medical liability reform.

How could the Obama administration create such a comprehensive overhaul of health care without addressing this issue? Although not a panacea for the health problems in the United States, the need for physicians to practice defensive medicine in order to avoid potential litigation has far-reaching consequences.”

“It’s a well-known fact that family medicine physicians and even obstetrician-gynecologists are giving up the practice of obstetrics because of the excessive cost of malpractice insurance and the fear of potential lawsuits.”

“So why hasn’t the Obama administration included medical liability reform in the Affordable Care Act? I suspect that it comes down to dollars. Not health care dollars or insurance dollars but campaign donation dollars.

According to OpenSecrets.org, since 1990, the American Association for Justice, previously known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, has given 92% of its $36.8 million in contributions to Democrats.

The association is also a large contributor to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. It is opposed to malpractice tort reform, for obvious reasons, and I suspect that it may have played a significant role in the absence of malpractice liability reform in the Affordable Care Act.”

From Zero Hedge September 28, 2013.

“Barack Obama promised to fundamentally transform America, and when it comes to health care he has definitely kept his promise.  Thanks to Obamacare, health care spending is up, health insurance premiums are up, the number of hours Americans are working is down and employer-based health insurance is becoming an endangered species.  Of course employer-based health insurance will not disappear completely any time soon, but it has been steadily shrinking for over a decade, and Obamacare will greatly accelerate that decline. “

“And this is a huge reason why the shift from full-time work to part-time work in America has accelerated this year.  Obamacare creates an incentive for companies to have more part-time workers and less full-time workers.  In fact, almost all of the jobs that have been “created” by the U.S. economy in 2013 have been part-time jobs.

But it is incredibly difficult to try to support a family on a part-time job.  Sadly, the quality of our jobs continues to decline rapidly and only 47 percent of all adults have a full-time job in America today.  This is only going to continue to get even worse under Obamacare.

As a result of these trends, more Americans are going to be forced to go out and buy health insurance “on the individual market”.  When they do, they are likely to be in for a really nasty surprise

Andy and Amy Mangione of Louisville, Ky. and their two boys are just the kind of people who should be helped by ObamaCare. But they recently got a nasty surprise in the mail.

“When I saw the letter when I came home from work,” Andy said, describing the large red wording on the envelope from his insurance carrier, “(it said) ‘your action required, benefit changes, act now.’ Of course I opened it immediately.”

It had stunning news. Insurance for the Mangiones and their two boys, which they bought on the individual market, was going to almost triple in 2014 — from $333 a month to $965.

The insurance carrier made it clear the increase was in order to be compliant with the new health care law.”

  1. WATCH Judge Jeanine Nuke Nancy Pelosi’s “Brilliant” Obama

    http://www.westernjournalism.com/watch-judge-jeanine-nuke-nancy-pelosis-brilliant-obama/

  2. Certainly if we watch TV at all, we can’t help but notice an explosion of ads by law firms notifying there is legal recourse for victims of bad drugs or flawed medical devices.
Let’s think this through for a moment. So we have drugs being produced that apparently are not being thoroughly tested. Then the government-run drug programs largely pay for these faulty meds. So the lawyers take these cases and get paid handsomely for the suits they win. Hmm…….Doesn’t this ultimately end up bad for taxpayers? It looks to me as though it has become a racket. Of course, I have great sympathy for the victims and would never deny their right to damages.

  3. Another thing I’ve noticed is that Medicare has embarked on a different method of competitive bidding for companies selling medical devices and equipment. The competitive bidding part would be good, but I detect that the lists being put out to the public, i.e., companies “approved” by Medicare, are quite selective. In other words, some companies that have previously done business with MC are no longer on the lists. There is one outfit, which will remain unnamed, that constantly advertises to let people know that although they are not on the “preferred” list, customers still qualify for MC reimbursement.

This smells! It appears that MC is involved in crony capitalism, too.

  4. Congresswoman: Obamacare creating health insurance monopolies

Rep. Renee Ellmers raised awareness of a new problem with Obamacare’s implementation: the creation of private-sector health insurance monopolies that will limit Americans’ provider choices.

The major health insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield, which is closely coordinating with the White House on Obamacare implementation, will enjoy perhaps the greatest monopoly of all, the North Carolina Republican said in a statement.

“Although seven insurance companies currently operate in North Carolina, under the new Obamacare exchanges, those options will dwindle down to one in the majority of counties,” Ellmers said Thursday following the disclosure of figures by federal health officials showing that more than 60 percent of North Carolina counties will have only one insurance provider option under Obamacare: Blue Cross Blue Shield.

“The whole point of an online marketplace was to provide options, so North Carolinians could go online, compare prices, and choose plans from different companies. That is how competition is supposed to work!,” Ellmers said.

Beginning October 1 under Obamacare, Blue Cross Blue Shield will be the only health insurance provider serving the entire state of North Carolina in the new Obamacare exchanges, serving all 100 of the state’s counties. Its competitor Coventry Health Care, which is owned by Aetna, will only reach 39 counties.

RM, bringing this over from the last thread.

My business is Radiation/Nukes; I have neither seen nor heard anything about this, and I am in a position where my unit would hear *something.* Our Nuclear Incident Response Team, although always ready for an event, is doing what they usually do.

I see and speak with members of the National Guard/Civil Support Team on a regular basis and other than their usual drills and exercises, there has been nothing out of the ordinary.

That said, it doesn’t mean that something’s NOT happening. I will do some digging around on Monday, as I have a nasty medical test scheduled on Tuesday, *October 1* to get through and will be out that day. If I find out something that needs attention, I will e-mail Mr. Wells.

We live in scary times and my unit, as well as similar units throughout the country have always feared one (or all) of the following scenarios: 1. A nuclear detonation; 2. An airburst; 3. Multiple dirty bombs placed in a large city; 4. A nuclear reactor core meltdown anywhere on the planet (i.e., Fukushima). We prepare as best we can however, there are some things which are completely out of our control; let’s hope this is not one of those times.

  6. SUEK………..reference your above….thanks for the comments….

But for this government…….the impossible seems only routine…….and I put nothing beyond their imagination….including a false flag nuke strike ..

That’s hard for me to say about my government, but this government stands on the record it has created……… which is mighty pi*s-poor.

  7. RMinNC | September 29, 2013 at 4:38 pm |

RM, anyone who would even *think* about any kind of false flag nuke had better think long and hard. This is not Romper Room with squirt guns; the ramifications of such a maneuver would be world wide. This is exactly why treaties have been signed over the years for a variety of nuclear weapons; even the most backward third world countries know that one push of the red button anywhere would signal Amageddon.

Although this thugocracy is a completely different beast, I just can’t imagine our military buying into something like this; the ‘administration’ perhaps, but I can’t see a consensus in the military, or any member of this gang in D.C. with a soul.

    Time will tell.

  8. RMinNC……
Seriously I have my doubts if the QUEER in the wacky house would take a chance on a world level war by ordering a nuclear attack upon Israel. He along with ALL of his alleged cabinet, and Congress would have to be involved. I seriously doubt that ANYBODY in Congress has the ball# to be part and parcel to such an event. Those who would probably order such an attack are IMBECILES,and they comfirm it everytime they open their mouths, and say something.

  9. SUEK…..
    you said;
“RM, anyone who would even *think* about any kind of false flag nuke had better think long and hard. This is not Romper Room with squirt guns; the ramifications of such a maneuver would be world wide”

i agree with you in total…war is not a game, but sadly the as*holes who always start the wars never have to fight them….and yes such an unheard of attack would have world ramifications……perhaps that’s the purpose of such a brazen act of terror….but like you I hope nothing like this ever happens….I have seen war and have been a part of it, and war is never a pretty thing…..there are no winners….and, at my age, I have no desire to see more…..but now our country has a “runaway” government that respects no laws and makes laws and the sovereignty of any nation….why should they respect the sovereignty of the citizens of the American people?
I have always believed that “desperate people do desperate things” and we have some very desperate people in control now.

    OLDSAILOR81…..
    you said;
“Seriously I have my doubts if the QUEER in the wacky house would take a chance on a world level war by ordering a nuclear attack upon Israel.”

I must agree with you again….but I do not think the QUEER in the wacky house has EVER been in charge of making even the smallest of decisions….he is only the puppet and someone behind the curtin is pulling his strings.

    I think the words of one of the world’s most intelligent people is appropriate here;

“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it”
    —Albert Einstein

And like David Crockett said at the Alamo…”We need more people”…
I say, …….. WE NEED MORE EINSTEIN’S AND LESS OBAMA’S.

  10. correction:

My computer is dropping words……at my last post which read : “runaway” government that respects no laws and makes laws and the sovereignty of any nation….

should read: “runaway” government that respects no laws and makes laws and directives that war against other sovereign nations…

  11. Air Force Brat

Alex Jones / infowars.com never has been, nor will it ever be, a reliable news site. It serves one purpose and one purpose only — to scare people. Research indicates that the referenced video originated from that site. People need to stay the hell away from that place. Better yet, get off the Internet altogether. Step away from the keyboard. Go outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Listen to the birds sing. Marvel at the world that God created for us.

COULD this scaremongering conspiracy theory du jour occur? Sure. The Sun could also go nova, and we wouldn’t know it for 8 minutes and 33 seconds (the time it takes the Sun’s light, AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT, to reach the Earth).

Point is, EVERY administration since FDR has had various “urban legend” type scares going around. A few examples: FDR was a secret Communist. Truman had people with knowledge of the alleged Majestik 12 documents “silenced”. Johnson had Kennedy killed. Reagan was the Antichrist because each of his three names had six letters in it. Nixon secretly sold American sovereignty to the Chinese at the time he re-established tentative relations with Beijing. George H.W. Bush was a high-ranking member of the Skull and Bones Society, as well as . . . wait for it . . . one of the Illuminati, who planned to declare martial law to implement the Illuminati agenda. Clinton was on the verge of declaring martial law to avoid impeachment. Dubya initiated 9/11. Oh yes, and he planned to declare martial law too.

Obama will likely be remembered as the worst president in U.S. history. He is not, however, the Antichrist. AN antichrist, sure. THE Antichrist, no. He is also NOT God Almighty. It would be nice if those who get such apparent pleasure out of being scared all the time (and of trying to scare everybody else too) would remember that. He’s called “Almighty” for a reason.

  15. I was reading my on line news paper today and was very happy with the people who were posting to the article. Obama Care…Unaffordable Care Act was the topic and today was part one.

I live in a small town in a small county ran by a Demo-rat Sheriff and other county and city mayors, judges, court house clerks, etc, …well you get my idea.

But I am proud to say that the large amount of posters who gave their opinions about the Unaffordable Care Act/aka/ Obama care was very exciting to me. Every one is very up set with Barry/Obama and the demo-rats for what they are doing to our health care and our country. They are sick of the demo-rats calling the Republicans names all the time and the hateful way the so called president is talking. One person called for an impeachment.

I am proud to say that by our next election in my county most of the demo-rats will be voting Republican. They said they will have to hold their nose but they are tired of what Barry, Reid, and Polosi is doing to our country. One person pointed out to them that if we voters took control of both houses and elected enough (forgot numbers) republicans in both houses that Barry would not be able to veto any of the bills.

If this can happen in my small democratic community I pray that it is happening every where.

God Bless our Troops….God Bless AMERICA

    Hi Bob,

It’s been well known in certain circles that bin Laden died in December 2001 of kidney failure, among other things.

Recall that several years ago, ‘he’ was releasing audios with no video message. Just after 9/11, we saw the audio AND video; he hadn’t actually been seen on a video message for quite some time.

Who, then, was killed in 2011 when barky was claiming the ‘prize?’ We may never know. It wasn’t bin Laden; you can’t kill someone who’s already dead.

Ready Or Not — The Situation Just Getting Weirder And Weirder

    1) That a suffocating dictatorship would be clamped down. Sure enough, the repressive police state is clamping down, here, there and everywhere. The Edward Snowden revelations of universal NSA surveillance of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is very much a part of the totalitarian social control system that is being quickly locked into place.

There is only one objective: To thoroughly enslave you beyond all hope of any semblance of true freedom.

    2) There was/is a ongoing sinister plan to stage “false flag” nuclear attacks against several American cities, as a false pretext to initiate what was described in articles I have read as “totalitarian nuclear warfare.” A number of cities were mentioned, including Baltimore, Maryland.

That city is located in FEMA Region III, which seems to be getting an awful lot of attention lately with emergency FEMA preparations. .

And wouldn’t you just know it… a couple of days ago a story popped up in the mainstream news cycle about a US Navy blimp that has been loitering over the Baltimore area for several days, doing “aerial mapping.” Aerial mapping of what ? for what?…. the story did not say.

Might this “aerial mapping” have anything to do with the sudden sacking of Navy Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, as the number two Admiral in the command post at the US Strategic Nuclear Command? However, the official excuse given for his sacking was… “allegedly due to a fake gambling chip scandal at an Iowa casino”. Sounds fishy to me.

Let’s see .Let’s start putting the dots together….. Aerial mapping,… Navy blimps flying aimlessly around over a major US city…, fake gambling chips,… sacking the number 2 officer in charge of the US Strategic Nuclear command,… relieving of 17 nuclear officers for “unwarranted questioning of orders”,… missing and unaccounted nukes from an AF base in Texas,… a US Senator who seems to know something the rest of America doesn’t….

Can you believe all this?…Try real hard because it has already happened.

And all of this comes just three short weeks after the reported sudden movement of “off-the-book, unaccounted for, nuclear weapons” from Dyess Air Force Base in Texas to a destination in South Carolina, and then an almost simultaneous warning from U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham that Charleston, South Carolina was in danger of being nuked by terrorists. Now how in the hell would that idiot have known that?

The timing of all these events seems very, very suspect to this old war horse..

This is all very much reminiscent of the nuclear weapons that went “missing” from Minot Air Force Base back in 2007, without authorization, and wound up at Barksdale AFB in Louisana mounted on the wings of a B-52 long range bomber. It still is not clear where those missiles were headed for and quickly the whole incident was subsequently swept under the official carpet. “Out of sight, out of mind”, what nukes? To this day, many unanswered questions remain about that close call.

Also at Minot AFB, just a few months ago, 17 nuclear missile launch COMMISSIONED OFFICERS were relieved of duty for, among other things, “… unwarranted questioning of orders …” Hummmm, now what kind of orders would be given that they would question?

Maybe something like, “Launch, Launch, Launch” !

I am speculating here because I wasn’t there and so I do not know with any degree of certainty, but to relieve 17 officers at one time, perhaps the reason was their refusal, to a man, to launch a unilateral nuclear strike against some country, somewhere in the world?

Whatever the case, a similar incident happened at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, in August, 2013. What was the nature of that missile launch crews’ “failure” at Malmstron AFB? It’s not clear from the media reports, but is it possible the Global Strike Command gave them a strike order, and they refused to launch a strike at that AB also?

Is it possible that the orders were given to launch nuclear warheads given and the missile launch crews questioned and refused those orders? You can bet your farm it is !!!

The people who have to launch a nuke strike knows well what the death and damages will be….the people who give the orders don’t really care.

Judging from the lack of information that makes it into the mainstream news cycle now days, there are very serious irregularities in the U.S. military’s nuclear weapons programs. I doubt we are being told the complete truth about any of these events.

I truly hope the nuclear false flag attacks we are reading about almost daily do not happen. They don’t have to occur. We do not have to have to start a nuclear war either in a foreign land or in America……

but, if I lived in the Baltimore area, I would be very cautious about my movements and keep both eyes open.

  26. RM,

You must drive your wife crazy with your conspiracy theories. 🙂 Even so, I entertain some of them myself….. not as many as you, (I am sympathetic to many, but I still can’t bring myself to accept all). But I do enjoy reading what swirls around in your mind.

Either way, a person could be launched into eternity by any number of things today, tomorrow, next week… next year, (and it would have nothing to do with what the PTB have in mind). My only thought is to get your house in order, and urge your loved ones to also. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.” Btw, I am not implying that you have’nt.

    Take care friend.

  34. RMinNC…if you go to PatDollard.com, he has a story about the blimp in Baltimore. It’s half way down the page. The local cbs story claims its mapping flight restriction zones around D.C. Who knows for sure but it’s kind of scary what you’ve written and I see on other sites. And then now this blimp flying around. It is scary.

  35. SUEQ……Something to think about….

    Hey All,

Now I’m hearing that Mitch McConnell is offering a “compromise” to avert the shutdown.

Fund the Government for one week.

The Congress’s MAIN job every year is to pass an ANNUAL budget. The CONTINUING RESOLUTION simply runs the Government until December.

What a joke our Government has become, right out in front of everyone, sticking their middle finger up to each and evey United States citizen.

Instead of the Republicans taking time to explain what is going on, they allow the media to indoctrinate the people in to believing that the Government is going to shut down.

I heard tonight that only 800,000 Government employees would be affected.

How many employees does the Federal Government have?

“There are 2,748,978 civilian federal employees in the United States as of January 2009.”

    This is according to:

    http://www.numberof.net/number-of-federal-employees-2/

  42. SUEK…I don’t mean to be curt…but.

May I ask at what level are…. “your military sources” ?…..and may I also ask what kind of work you are involved in?

Also,I have never said there would be a “nuke strike” in FEMA Region III….I have only stated there are things which are very strange in an emergency buildup in that area……..there have been several reliable sources reporting this strange activity…I did not originate it.

But if you don’t like what I say….you don’t have to read it. I often skip over things other people write…after all, everyone has an opinion and a right to express it…..

    Hey All,

I have also heard that these employees will not be paid, but I’ll GUARANTEE that when this is resolved, they’ll get ALL of their back pay without even having to work. It’ll be ANOTHER paid vacation.

I just wish the Republicans would buy a half hour or hour on network television so that they could explain their position.

But they won’t, and if they did the media would edit a two minute snippet that would distort what was actually said.

I’m really tired of yelling at my radio because someone is spouting MISinformation as news.

I would also like to bring to the table the possibility of kicking John McCain out of the Republican Party.

But then again, maybe he DOES represent the thinking of the Republicans now.

    Myself, I think he’s a jerk, a sellout and a coward as a politician.

I am embarrassed to admit that I voted for him.

  44. GINGER….
    I’ll vote for her !!!

  45. IB…..
you said,”How many employees does the Federal Government have?

“There are 2,748,978 civilian federal employees in the United States as of January 2009.”….

Could this be Obama’s civilian force he always talks about?….Is the military forces included in this number?

  46. Interested Bystander

    Ginger,

It wouldn’t be fair to have only one winner.

    They’re all winners!!!

    Get me four tiaras.

I will NOT discuss who I am, where I am, or my sources on a blog; if you want to talk, please ask CW to put us in touch.

  48. Interested Bystander

    RMinNC,

The number is for CIVILIAN Federal employees.

Although I know alot of CIVILIANS are contracted with the military. Like that dumba$$ who shot up the Navy Yard a couple weeks ago.

  49. Interested Bystander

    RMinNC,

So you do read my posts…………..

I thought I was one of these:

“I often skip over things other people write…”

  50. IB….(I’m smiling)
No no my friend… I always read your post……

  51. Interested Bystander

The whole point of my first post was to point out that ONLY 800,000 out of 2,748,978 will be told to stay home.

To me it seems strange that you shut the Government down by furloughing 30% of your workforce.

Mail will still be delivered, government checks will still be sent out, etc, etc.

    Some shutdown.

  52. SUEK….

    that won’t be necessary….thanks anyway..

.I assume they must be some pretty important people though…

  53. IB….
you said “The whole point of my first post was to point out that ONLY 800,000 out of 2,748,978 will be told to stay home”

Do you think it could possible be that “our government” doesn’t need these 800,000 people in the first place?….that seems to be the picture I’m getting.

  54. The 800,000 were labeled ‘inessential personnel.’ Key word is ‘inessential.’ Why do we need them then? I hate for people to lose jobs but that is an awful lot of ‘inessential workers’.

The govt. unions also want the furloughed people to get all their lost wages back which means we the people would be paying those back wages via our taxes. Lovely. When does the private sector ever work this way? Govt. unions should be outlawed IMO.

  55. Oops, I used the wrong word. Should be ‘Non essential’ not inessential. Sorry!

  56. Retired Army officer warns: DHS preparing for war against American citizens

    March 23, 2013

On Saturday, Terry M. Hestilow, a retired United States Army Captain from Fort Worth, Texas, posted a letter on Facebook that he wrote to Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, warning that the Department of Homeland Security is preparing to go to war with the citizens of the United States.

“It is with gravest concern that I write to you today concerning the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America,” his letter began.

The retired officer expressed deep concerns over “recent purchases of almost 3,000 mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) armored personnel carriers, 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition (with associated weapons), and other weapons systems.”

Capt. Hestilow added a statement that Barack Obama made during his 2008 campaign.

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military],” he said.

He also accused the administration of “deliberately defunding, overextending, and hollowing the Department of Defense,” which he said is the “only legitimate agency” with the mission of conducting combat operations.

In his letter, Capt. Hestilow called on Congress to demand that the DHS surrender their weapons systems to the Defense Department. He also accused the DHS of enforcing the “tyrannical acts of this president” and said lawmakers should dissolve the agency “as soon as possible.”

“One needs only to look to the rise of Adolf Hitler, and his associated DHS organizations, the SA and the SS, of 1932-1934, to see the outcome of allowing an agency of government this kind of control over the free citizens of a nation,” he added.

Capt. Hestilow said that Americans cannot “be so naïve” as to think that what happened in Germany cannot happen here.

Earlier in the week, Capt. Hestilow asked his Facebook followers who the DHS intends to kill with the weapons and ammunition that it has recently purchased.

“Short answer,” he wrote. “You and me! Anyone they think is standing in their way to impose a new Marxist government! Anyone who stands for the U.S. Constitution!”

“If I live and still have a page to speak out on later this week, I will discuss a proper Constitutional response in a couple of days. Standby. Out,” he wrote on Thursday.

Capt. Hestilow ended his strongly-worded letter with a simple declaration: “We refuse to surrender our Constitution or our nation!”

  57. BOB STRAUSS….thanks for your post above

My compliments on your latest post….you, I, and several other who post here on CW have been preaching this message for a long, long time.

We are not blind. We can see what DHS and FEMA have been ordering…For those of us with a military background, we know what all of those ammunition orders and exotic weapons will be used for and it isn’t rabbit hunting…in one simple phrase…against the citizens of this country.

There has never been a weapon made which hasn’t been used and I can assure you that what DHS has ordered and in stock now ….they already have plans in the works for the use of these munitions and weapons, or they would not have ordered them………

There are many who post here on CW who would just prefer to close their eyes and pretend all of this is nothing but a bad dream and if they don’t think or talk about it,,it will go away…but it isn’t a bad dream and it’s not going away. It’s happening in the open andright before our eyes, an I can assure you it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

When the final plans (DHS and FEMA) are put into action, every citizen will have an option between two choices.

One , you can accept the dictates of slavery and get on your knees… or…
You can stand and fight ….you may lose and most like will, but is life worth living on your knees? There will be many thousands who think not.

There will be no other options available.

I do not mean to scare anyone by my post, but the facts are speaking to us…loud and clear…are we listening?

  58. Bob, Thanks from me also for the good letter by the Army Capt. (Rtd). These are cold facts, i.e., it has been reported by many reliable sources that DES is amassing an inordinate amount of arms. Obama himself promised the formation of a civilian army as well as constantly showing disdain for DOD and doing everything he can to weaken our military. That is not “conspiracy” to me.

RM, I see a difference in the rumors about a possible false flag nuclear attack. This is not to say that it could not be possible, but the sources are questionable, and that is why I’m hesitant to get aboard.

In your defense, however, I will say this. If such a dastardly plan were in the works, it seems that only the very “top” would be privy to it and anyone beneath would not be told ahead of time. Otherwise, it would not fly as a false flag. Therefore, no one asked now would dare be informed until immediately before the event. Doesn’t that make sense? By the same token that logic could also apply to those who seem to have garnered special knowledge before the event. I don’t question you but do question some of the sources you cite at times. I mean no harm, Friend.

  59. CABBYAZ…hello friend,

you said, “Therefore, no one asked now would dare be informed until immediately before the event. Doesn’t that make sense? By the same token that logic could also apply to those who seem to have garnered special knowledge before the event. I don’t question you but do question some of the sources you cite at times. I mean no harm, Friend.”

In answer to your questions…YES it makes a lot of sense to me that if such an event were to happen, only a very few “in the loop” would know the details of who, what, when, why, and how……but many things are hard to hide.

In response to your next: Of course I question all sources…but I also try to look at the ” facts” as they are presented…I hope and pray that such an event doesn’t happen……and yes, I question all, I try to verify all…..there are several things that bother me about this nuke thing. I will briefly note some of them:

    1. The movement of “unaccountered for, and undocumented” nukes from that AB in Texas.Nukes are not treated in such a manner….EVER !
    2. Senator Lensey Graham’s statement reference a possible nuke strike on Charleston SC shortly after the discovery of the missing nukes from Texas.
    3. The buildup of FEMA’s supplies and emergency equipment for area III.

There are other facts I could list here, but none of it is relevant, according to some.

Logic says, there has to be a reason those nukes came up “unaccounted for and missing”….there has to be a reason Graham made such a rash statement…there has to be a reason for the extra equipment and supplies in area III……but no body is talking about the reasons

Cabby….In the military, we always had a saying that seems proper here…I hope this doesn’t offend you but this is the way I have always hear it while serving in the army
;”Sh*t just doesn’t happen, there is always a reason for it, and anything that does happen has been well planned… there are no accidents”.

That crude explaination usually supported whatever came down the pike.

I have no magic crystal ball, and neither does anyone else. Unless you are sitting in the WH in the “cat-birds seat”…..all I can do is look at what has already been presented and try to make sense of it…….I am not always right, in fact, I am often wrong, but at least, I give it my best shot…….

.I pray to God that I am not right on this one, but I’m still waiting for someone to explain the “unaccounted and undocumented nukes”. So far ,alI I hear is the Silence of the Lambs.

That “fact” alone is enough to scare the hell out of me, and I’m not normally afraid of many things !!!

Good night friend…nice to chat with you tonight…..

  60. Hyper-Partisan Obama DOJ To Announce Suit Against North Carolina Voting Laws –

Eric Holder still has no intention of suing Colorado for violating federal law regarding use of marijuana. Nor any cities that offer illegal aliens sanctuary. But, he’s going to sue North Carolina over discrimination that hasn’t happened.

(Fox News) The Justice Department will announce Monday that it is suing the state of North Carolina for alleged racial discrimination over tough new voting rules.

A person briefed on the department’s plans told Fox News that the suit would claim that the North Carolina statute violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and would seek to have the state subject to federal pre-clearance before making “future voting-related changes.” The person also said the suit would be filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Nashville, Tenn. (snip)

North Carolina’s new law scales back the period for early voting and imposes stringent voter identification requirements. It is among at least five Southern states adopting stricter voter ID and other election laws. The Justice Department on Aug. 22 sued Texas over the state’s voter ID law and is seeking to intervene in a lawsuit over redistricting laws in Texas that minority groups consider to be discriminatory. (snip)

In the North Carolina lawsuit, the person said, the government will challenge requirements in state law that eliminate the first seven days of early voting opportunities and eliminate same-day voter registration during the early voting period. Same-day registration allows voters to cast a ballot immediately after presenting elections officials with proof of their name and home address.

The Justice Department challenge also is aimed at a provision eliminating the counting of certain types of provisional ballots by voters who cast ballots in their home counties but do not vote in the correct precincts.

So, will Holder sue the majority of US States?

14 states allow straight party voting. North Carolina now joins the 36 other states that do not.
15 states allow NO early voting or no-excuse absentee voting. (Those include NY and Mass)
32 states allow early voting ranging from 4 days prior to election day to 45 days with an average 19 days. North Carolina allows 10 days but requires the same number of hours of early voting that was available in 2012 and 2010 when the early voting period was 17 days.
Only 1 state allows same day registration during early voting. NC was the only other state to allow this and has now joined 49 states in not allowing same day registration during early voting.
11 states allow same day registration on Election Day. North Carolina does not.
5 states allow 16 and 17 year olds to pre-register to vote. 45 states do not, including now, North Carolina.

Illinois and Delaware require voter ID. Hawaii has even stricter voter ID requirements. Why is Holder not suing those states?
