Obama hypocrisy on concern for children, Connecticut shootings, Push to enact further federal gun control laws, 3500 – 4000 children aborted every day in America

Obama and the left will continue to use tragedies such as the Connecticut shootings to try to make the argument for further federal gun control laws. I have one response for that argument.

“While speaking on the Conneticut shooting again today in what was a clear push to enact further federal gun control laws (Democrat Congressman Dick Durbin, perhaps Obama’s single most supportive member of Congress, went so far as to suggest the country needs to overhaul the 2nd Amendment itself) Barack Obama said the following:
“Can we say that we’re truly doing enough to give all the children of this country the chance they deserve to live out their lives in happiness and with purpose?
I’ve been reflecting on this the last few days, and if we’re honest with ourselves, the answer’s no. We’re not doing enough.” -Barack Obama: December 15th, 2012
While there is no doubt of the horrible tragedy that took place in Newtown, there is another statistic of which Barack Obama has strongly defended his entire adult life which dwarfs the tragedy that befell Newtown:
3500 – 4000 children are aborted every day in America. Some of those children are able to live outside the womb of the mother. Even the killing of those children who survive the abortion procedure are to be terminated according to the pro-choice beliefs of Barack Obama. LINK
It is estimated there are over 1000 partial-birth/late term abortions performed in the United States each year.
What of the chances of those children President Obama? Where are your tears and reflection for those thousands of lives snuffed out each and every year? Lives made absent by policies you have long and aggressively supported.
Your words of grief ring hollow and scripted Mr. Obama. When so much of your life’s work has been an advocate of the snuffing out of human life, why should the country believe your attempts to communicate sadness of lost lives now? When you so willingly wrap tragedy inside your own political agenda, how are we to believe anything you say to be sincere?”

At what age does a person have rights? What makes one person/life more valuable than another?? In some states when a pregnant mother is killed along with the child inside her, it is considered a double murder but at what point???
I was watching CNN when they were reporting on the Kate being pregnant and in the hospital with morning sickness….The reporter was speaking if the child is born male or female they are still in line for the crown and then he added, “IF the child is born”…I thought this was a very strange thing for a reporter to say about royalty or anyone else for that matter especially when talking about the sex of the child…

This is the full transcript of Jill Stanek’s testimony before Congress:
My name is Jill Stanek, and I am a registered nurse who has worked in the Labor and Delivery Department at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, for the past 5 years. Christ Hospital performs abortions on women in their second or even third trimesters of pregnancy. Sometimes the babies aborted are healthy, and sometimes they are not.
The method of abortion that Christ Hospital uses is called ”induced labor abortion,” also now known as ”live-birth abortion.” This type of abortion can be performed different ways, but the goal always is to cause a pregnant woman’s cervix to open so that she will prematurely deliver a baby who dies during the birth process or soon afterward.
The way that the induced abortion is most often executed at Christ Hospital is by the physician inserting a pill called Cytotec into the birth canal close to the vagina. Cytotec irritates the cervix and stimulates it to open. When this occurs, the small, pre-term baby drops out of the uterus, often alive. It is not uncommon for a live aborted baby to linger for an hour or two or even longer. One of these babies was known to live for almost an entire 8-hour shift.
In the event that a baby is aborted alive, he or she receives no medical assessments or care, but is given only what the Christ Hospital calls ”comfort care.” Comfort care is defined as keeping the baby warm in a blanket until he or she dies, although even this so-called compassion is not always provided. It is not required that these babies be held during their short lives.
One night, a nursing co-worker was taking an aborted Down’s syndrome baby who was born alive to our Soiled Utility Room because his parents did not want to hold him and she did not have time to hold him. I could not bear the thought of this suffering child dying alone in a Soiled Utility Room, so I cradled and rocked him for the 45 minutes that he lived. He was about 22 weeks old, weighed about a half a pound, and was about 10 inches long, about the size of my hand. He was too weak to move very much, expending any energy that he had trying to breathe. Toward the end of his life he was so quiet that I couldn’t tell if he was still alive unless I held him up to the light to see if his little heart was still beating through his chest wall. After he was pronounced dead, we folded his little arms across his chest, tied his hands together with a string, wrapped him in a tiny shroud, and carried him to the hospital morgue where all of our other dead patients go.
The mark that this little person’s untimely death left on my heart will never go away. In large part, I ended up here today because of that baby.
……Another nurse is haunted by the memory of an aborted baby who came out weighing much more than expected—almost 2 pounds. She is haunted because she doesn’t know if she made a mistake by not getting that baby any medical help. A support associate told me about a live aborted baby who was left to die on a counter in our Soiled Utility room wrapped in a disposable towel. This baby was accidentally thrown in the garbage. Later, when they were going through the trash trying to find the baby, the baby fell out of the towel and onto the floor.
