This is a teachable moment. Candy Crowley’s performance in the Obama Romney debate last night was predictable. She has a history of liberal slant, she is a member of the mainstream media and she works for CNN.
Are there enough intelligent, informed and concerned Americans left out there to discern the truth? Obama lied again and Candy Crowley helped him.

“Another debate, another debacle for America’s media.
In the runup to the second presidential debate, CNN’s Candy Crowley declared that she would not just be a “fly on the wall” as she played the tiny role of moderator, that she would step in whenever she chose to say, “Hey, wait a second, what about X, Y, Z?”
And boy did she, cutting off Republican Mitt Romney repeatedly and often throwing the floor to President Obama with an open “let me give the president a chance here.”
More, she alone decided the topics for the debate, picking questions from the 80 so-called “undecided” voters chosen by the Gallup polling organization. Her selections were tailor-made for Mr. Obama — Mitt Romney’s tax plan, women’s rights and contraception, outsourcing, immigration, the Libya debacle (which gave Mr. Obama to finally say that the buck stops with him, not, as Hillary Clinton said, with her).
She even chose this question, directed to both men: “I do attribute much of America’s economic and international problems to the failings and missteps of the Bush administration. Since both of you are Republicans, I fear the return to the policies of those years should you win this election. What is the biggest difference between you and George W. Bush, and how do you differentiate yourself from George W. Bush?”
Ms. Crowley, who called Mr. Romney’s selection of Rep. Paul Ryan as running mate a “ticket death wish,” asserted her unilateral power at the outset, telling the audience before the cameras went on that she planned to “give the debate direction and ensure the candidates give answers to the questions.”
After both candidates answered Question One, she blurted: “Let me get a more immediate answer” — whatever that means. But when Mr. Romney sought to correct falsehoods told by the president, she cut him off: “We have all these folks here.” In the end, Mr. Obama would get 9 percent more time.
At Question Two, Mr. Obama, asked by Mr. Romney how much he had cut federal oil permits, took over the floor — with Ms. Crowley’s silent approval. “Here’s what happened,” he said as he filibustered for a full minute. Mr. Romney sought to get the last word — as the president had the question before — but the moderator shut him down: “It’ doesn’t quite work like that.”
When Mr. Romney sought to counter Mr. Obama’s assertion after Question Three, Ms. Crowley again cut him off: “Before we get into a vast array….” she said before asking a completely different question.
The next question was pure Obama — workplace inequality (the president mention at every stop his Lily Ledbetter legislation). But the query gave him the platform to demand Americans pay for contraception for all women, saying the governor “feels comfortable having politicians in Washington decide the health care choices that women are making.”
For the record, Mr. Obama spoke for two minutes, then Mr. Romney, then Mr. Obama again. Ms. Crowley then rushed into the next question.
When the immigration question came up, both candidates gave their answers. Then the moderator once again butted in, ordering Mr. Romney to “speak to the idea of self-deportation.”
By then, Mr. Romney had had enough, and talked over her demands. “No, let — let — let me go back and speak to the points the president made and — and — and let’s get them correct.”
At the next question, the moderator lost all control. “Candy,” Mr. Obama said. “Hold on.” “Mr. President,” the governor said, “I’m still speaking.” They mixed it up for a bit, then Ms. Crowley said: “Sit down, Mr. Romney.”
The most shocking exchange took place on the Benghazi attack that left the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three others dead.
Mr. Romney: “You said in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, it was an act of terror? It was not a spontaneous demonstration, is that what you’re saying.”
Mr. Obama made no defense. “Please proceed, governor.”
“I want to make sure,” Mr. Romney said. “Get the transcript,” the president said. Then Ms. Crowley jumped in to do her own fact-check, on the spot. “It — it — it — he did in fact, sir. … He did call it an act of terror.”
The truth is, he didn’t. The day after the attack, he said only this: “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.” It took another two weeks before the White House would label the attack an act of terror.
The Obama people, of course, loved it — having blamed Mr. Obama’s dismal performance in the first debate on poor moderating.
“He’s back,” said Team O spokeswoman Jen Psaki, who lauded Ms. Crowley for her fact checking.
But then she caught herself and quickly added: “He was never really gone, but he’s back.””

All the “conservative” talking heads apparently didn’t pick up on the substance that even the panels of formerly pro-Obama or undecideds did….even on MSNBC…..were swayed towards….Romney after this Candyland debate.

CW, America won’t see the issues for what they are because many people on the fences most likely switched stations. The blatant militant display the goons in the White House planned for weeks was nauseating enough to tune out.
The Soetoro camp now knows Romney was prepared and trained for a Chicago-style debate. Barry fell back on the one technique they thought would win them serious brownie points. Unfortunately for them, they lost. Big time. If the best they could do was lock horns in a rigged debate, they are going to lose. I thought that it was very peculiar that when confronted by Romney about O’s statement in the Rose Garden, immediately O said something to Candy to the effect, “You have the transcript….” How would he know that she had it? Talk about Candy, the teleprompter! It was such a setup. Then later she had to eat crow and retract her statement. Hmmm………CROW.ley.

Last night was the poorest excuse of a debate I’ve ever seen. Romney showed grace under fire and yet persevered with his strong points. There are mice and men. Romney showed that he is a real man, while Obama was……….well, ……the other.
In dealing with the leaders of our worst enemies, Romney, imo, could be trusted to stand up and take no nonsense in the style of Reagan. If he could handle O and Candy like he did last night, he has the mettle to handle almost anything he might face on the world stage.

The University of Colorado (CU) prediction renowned for perfect accuracy will predict a popular-vote win for Mitt Romney later this month, Campus Reform has learned.
The poll has accurately predicted every presidential election since it was developed in 1980. It is unique in that it employs factors outside of state economic indicators to predict the next president.
CU Political Science Professor Dr. Michael Berry, who spoke with Campus Reform at length on Tuesday, said there is at least 77 percent chance that Romney will win the popular vote.
Professor Michael Berry from the University of Colorado told Campus Reform in an exclusive interview that there is a 77 percent chance Romney will win the popular vote.
“Our model indicates that Governor Romney has a 77 percent likelihood of winning the popular vote,” said Berry.

There was something about the debate that troubled me on a deeper level than the obvious. I wasn’t sure what that was at first. So I had to do some meditation–let things settle.
For awhile I was stationed in a unit in Germany in an assignment that was outside my usual work. I was assigned to a unit that had a drug and alcohol problem and was assigned to assist as a drug and alcohol education specialist. This involved a rehabilitation for those who could handle it and elimination from the service for those who couldn’t.
As a result, I saw a lot of addicts and alcoholics–got to know them pretty well. (The disease model, by the way, given by Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous can work for rehabilitation and is the only known treatment with consistent rehabilitative results.)
Anyway, I finally had to face what I observed that had nothing to do with content of the debate, except that untreated addicts are chronic liers. Obama acted like an addict not in rehab–just maybe “dry” for the moment. The look in his eyes, his mental fuzziness, his plopping in his chair right at the start, and yes, his addiction to lies over and over again–his overall “vibe”–reminded me of burnouts on coke and other drugs I have dealt with.
I was really demoralized after this debate, really depressed, and I didn’t know why. Romney was a gentleman and a man. But the President? I felt pity and embarassment for him as I did for him during the first debate.
The media pundists are all trying to cover for him. In addition, however, to being a Muslim Communist, he is, in my view, a drug addict. That is sad. That means a lot of very, very bad things. He is not his own person.
Keep an eye on this, it is about damage control for Obama. This is about keeping the Jackson’s silent about what they know about the Obama’s And how Patrick Fitzgerald and the Tribune protect Obama..

I’m going to stick my neck out and guess that Candy Crowley was part of the Journ-o-list group, but managed (for obvious reasons) to keep he name from becoming public. The conspiracy in the Media now requires government investigation, much like the communists were investigated in the 1950’s, as it has become a national security problem. ESPECIALLY if the attack in Libya was a administration staged Red Flag to give Obama what Jimmy Carter lacked before re-election (hostages that were returned) and degraded into a murderous debacle.

It would seem to me that somebody with a few bucks to spend could go to Hawaii and make some quiet inquiries at the various EMERGENCY hospitals,or at the hospitals that handled most of the emergencies in the eighties, and maybe for a couple of bucks more or a joint, you might even come away with some documentation. Hawaii has a real drug problem,and the uasers always NEED MONEY…….I am sure there are a few who work at emergency hospitals. A druggie will sell their very souls.

Such a slash in someone’s scalp would have required suturing. I am doubtful that Soetoro sewed up his own scalp. If he was admitted to an ER there would be a record of his visit. And his makeup was lighter and less orange than usual, and the hair was more neutral…a gray mixed with a sandy color? I think a good part of his prep was botox and a make over. Don’t know for sure, but read that most of the audience were comprised of Obummer voters. I felt Romney did so well considering he faced hositility on all fronts…had to debate against Crowley, Obummer, and Crowley’s hand picked, hand chosen questions from the group on the stage, AND endure the audience led into forbidden applause by Mooch several times.

Yes, I noticed how horrible he looked; ashen complexion, gray hair, and oh, that deep scar on the left side of his head just above his ear. He looked emaciated.
I’m thinking that he’s either on a steady supply of drugs, or is very sick. It was pathetic to watch him last night, both physically and intellectually; the lies were coming at a ‘Fast and Furious’ pace and it seemed at times that his balance was off.

It is very odd that a young man named Beri Shabazz did have a serious car accident in Hawaii in 1980, and it is very odd the outstanding warrant for Mr. Shabazz was finally settled in 2003, right before a man named Obama ran for public office in Chicago.

Candy Alt Crowley was clearly assisting President Obama to win the second debate .She gave the President a time edge and seemed to care about time when Mitt Romney was speaking.
Moreover when President Obama avoided to answer the Libya question directly the debate moderator Candy Alt Crowley kept silent and made it easier for Mr President to modify the question the way he intended. It is sad to see the debate moderator supporting one party on Live Tv in a coverage that is having a national significance .
Presidential debates are important for the Americans and debate moderators should honor that . I am disappointed by Candy Alt Crowley performance as I expected her to be more neutral during the whole process.

According to wikipedia Stanley was married to Sr from 1961 to 1964 (although we ALL know they didn’t live as husband and wife), and she married Lolo in 1965 and stayed married to him until 1980.
So from the time Obama was born, until AFTER he turned 19, Stanley wasn’t SINGLE except for one year. And on top of THAT, Obama was sent back to Hawaii at the age of 10 to be raised by his Grandparents. Stanley STILL lived in Indonesia in 1981 when Obama went to Pakistan, because according to the “story” Obama stopped in Indonesia for a month on the way to Pakistan, when he PROBABLY as a citizen of Indonesia, aquired an Indonesian passport for his travel to Pakistan.
But Obama wasn’t raised by a “single mother”. He was raised by Stanley (as best as we can figure) for the first 4 years of his life, then was raised by Stanley and Lolo until he was 10 and then was raised by his Grandparents until he went to Occidental.
I just can NOT understand how this media can let such a BLATANT LIE go without answer.
And Romney isn’t doing himself any favors by allowing this LIE to go unanswered.
