“After the defense finishes its closing, prosecutors get the last word to the jury in a rebuttal.
Before jurors withdraw to deliberate, the judge will instruct them on how to assess the three weeks of evidence.

Tony Rezko, who was convicted in June 2008 and not yet sentenced, was not called as a witness in the Cellini or Blagojevich trials. Rezko was at the center of Operation Board Games corruption and was a long time associate of Barack Obama.

The Blagojevich made an attempt to depose Tony Rezko in the second trial stating that they wanted to know what he had told the prosecution, their request was denied…They should have said that they were going to call him as a witness, it would be interesting to see just how far Judge Zagel would go to protect Obama…Zagel turning the defense down over the 302’s and changing his opinion as to why he was turning them down was over looked by most all reporters…I can only hope that it comes up in the 2012 elections, I hope someone asks Obama to give Patrick Fitzgerald the permission to turn over the 302’s, for the sake of the “transparency” he proclaimed in 2008.

Plus that, I get so provoked with him (have e-mailed him several times) over his constantly trying to be understanding and nice about the Usurper. If the dollar is devalued it will be pretty hairy. If you have $10,000.00 after the devaluation you will be lucky if you have $1.00 left. Some years back Mexico devalued it’s Peso,and a hell of a lot of people got taken to the cleaners. Owning gold won’t help either! If you are forced to liquidate it you will only receive something like $1.00 for every $10,000.00 increment of gold that you own. mIf a new currency is issued the new currency could reflect the same intrinsic devaluation. In short you will not have diddley squat left. The austerity program that Mexico went through was much harsher! Many thousands of people ended up with NOTHING.
Back in 1933 FDR pulled something a little like a devasluation of our money except he done it by first taking us off the gold standard,and putting us on a FIAT money. Which was very conveniently of lesser value eith regard to the gold that people then held. Then he made owning gold or other precious metal illegal. Voila the US Government paid people less than 1/10th of what they had originally paid for the GOLD. The government buy out of private gold was made using the devalued currency. Gold was artificially set at $25.00 an ounce, where it remained for many years. I have a gut feeling that it is about to happen again.
One good place to put money in DIRE times is in the FOOD production companies,livestock,and green food growing companies,and Utilities used to be a pretty good hedge. If you live out in the county you could raise chickens for market, if you live on either coast and own a boat,you could consider becoming a professional fisherman. Then you could also consider entering the same profession that Joe Kennedy was involved with for so many years.

Reading about what is happening in Europe re. their financial upheaval, I am very concerned that we here in the U.S. are like an auto that has reached the end of a road and is dangerously poised at the edge of a precipice – You know, where the front end is hanging out into space, the rear is still on terra firma, but just a slight nudge will send it over into oblivion. Things are really that bad, imho.

“Obama to offer student loan relief ”
“First, he will accelerate a measure passed by Congress that reduces the maximum repayment on student loans from 15 percent of discretionary income annually to 10 percent. The White House wants it to go into effect in 2012, instead of 2014. In addition, the White House says the remaining debt would be forgiven after 20 years, instead of 25. About 1.6 million borrowers could be affected.”
SWITCH THE WORD “BORROWERS” to “VOTERS”!!
