Project Vote Obama 2012, ACORN, Obama 2012 Campaign stop at nothing strategy, 2008 election fraud

From True the Vote September 12, 2011.

“Dear Fellow American,

You remember ACORN, the scandal-ridden organization that spearheaded
voter registration drives in heavily Democratic neighborhoods in 2008.
Well, it may be making a comeback just in time to help President Obama
win a second term!

The Obama campaign has decided to call their in-house voter
registration and activation program “Project Vote.” Ironically, there
is already an organization with this same name that focuses on
registering voters in “historically underrepresented communities.”
This Project Vote worked side by side ACORN to register voters in 21
battleground states in 2008…and President Obama served as its
director in Chicago in 1992. In 2008, the Obama campaign paid more
than $800,000 to an ACORN organization to help deliver votes in the
primary election against Hillary Clinton.

Now, the Obama 2012 Campaign has chosen to dispense with the illusion
of separation between camps. The announcement of the Obama 2012
Campaign’s new “Project Vote” initiative signals a “stop at nothing”
strategy.

I don’t have to tell you that taking back the White House in 2012 is
critical to America’s future. That’s why I’ve helped launch True the
Vote, an initiative developed by citizens for citizens, to inspire and
equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral
process and to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters,
regardless of their political party affiliation. But we urgently need
your help to implement this initiative in all 50 states before the
2012 primary elections begin in just a few months. Will you follow
this link right now to make a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or
whatever you can afford to support True the Vote’s efforts to ensure
free and fair elections?

I won’t bore you by going into all the details of how ACORN committed
electoral fraud in the past. Here’s just a sample of what happened in
2008: In Wisconsin, more than 30,000 voter registrations were
questioned after it was learned ACORN used felons as registration
workers. In Pennsylvania, more than 57,000 registrations were thrown
out due to falsification of information, and in Florida there were
questions about how 30,000 felons were registered to vote.

I hope these statistics shock you, because election fraud attacks the
heart of our political system and threatens our rights as citizens.
But we do not have to stand idly by and watch the corrosion of our
electoral process. We can, we must, get involved and take action. True
the Vote has a proven plan for citizen engagement, but we need your
help to see it implemented in every state in our nation.

Your immediate contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or more will go
directly to to mobilizing and training volunteer election monitors and
providing them with program that includes live and online training on
state specific laws and polling place processes, reference guides, and
support in recognizing and reporting instances of registration abuse
and registry corruption

It’s our obligation as Americans to ensure our elections are free and
fair. I hope you will join with us to combat election fraud by
supporting True the Vote today.

Sincerely,

Catherine Engelbrecht
President and Founder, True the Vote”

From Chicago Magazine January 1993.

“None of this, of course, was accidental. The most effective minority voter registration drive in memory was the result of careful handiwork by Project Vote!, the local chapter of a not-for-profit national organization. “It was the most efficient campaign I have seen in my 20 years in politics,” says Sam Burrell, alderman of the West Side’s 29th Ward and a veteran of many registration drives.

At the head of this effort was a little-known 31-year-old African-American lawyer, community organizer, and writer: Barack Obama. The son of a black Kenyan political activist and a white American anthropologist”

  11. http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Elections/Vox-News/2011/0912/Rick-Perry-unelectable-or-GOP-s-best-shot-Why-public-and-pundits-differ

In the days since last Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate, the so-called election experts have roasted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on one of his Lone Star state barbecue spits, declaring that he “destroyed his candidacy” by calling social security a “Ponzi scheme.” Some dubbed him unelectable.

On Monday, a new CNN/ORC International poll came out, and Governor Perry had expanded his lead on the field. Some 30 percent of Republican and right-leaning Independents favor the tough-talking Texas governor over Mitt Romney.

So, what were the pundits thinking?

How well do you know Rick Perry? Take our quiz.

Jon Stewart of Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” took a stab at answering that question. After showing a montage of the dire predictions about Perry, he scolded, “When will the pundits get that this is not about a race for the presidency of pundit town?”

His obvious point: The experts and the people are living in two different worlds.

  12. http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Elections/Vox-News/2011/0912/Rick-Perry-unelectable-or-GOP-s-best-shot-Why-public-and-pundits-differ/(page)/2

But pundits can be out of touch with what average people actually care about in candidates, say others. “Perry has that thing I call command presence, which has nothing to do with issues,” says veteran Philadelphia broadcast journalist and author Larry Kane. “It just has to do with command of the space, and Perry has it over Romney.”

Would he have beat Harry Truman if he hadn’t given the polls so much credit? “Hard to say,” Smith says, “but part of the lesson is you can’t necessarily trust what anyone says, whether it’s a professional analyst or a poll of the people.”

  13. http://www.news4jax.com/politics/29165313/detail.html

    Romney vs Perry

David Gergen, CNN senior political analyst: “There’s no question that Romney and Perry will remain the frontrunners Romney has a better command of the facts. He’s a more practiced debater. He gave one of the best answers of his entire campaign when he was asked how he would balance the budget. But Perry has the command presence, and even though people took shots at him as you said, he deflected reasonably well, he came in as a better debater, he was more even this time.

“He talks a lot of Texas. He’s going to need to move beyond Texas. He’s clearly going to have to beef himself up on the international side. I would have to tell you, Rick Perry walked in here as a frontrunner tonight. And I imagine he walked out as the frontrunner.

Erick Erickson, CNN contributor and RedState.com blogger: “I think this may be the first debate where Mitt Romney didn’t come out the clear winner. Perry needed to do well. I think he did well. I don’t think the Social Security exchange helps Mitt Romney at all at a Republican primary. He’s foolish to continue. I think the majority of Republican voters agree with Perry. For the life of me, I can’t understand why Romney would go with this. [Michele] Bachman was going to make this a key point and backed down from this.”

  14. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2011/09/12/much-to-fear-for-romney-in-latest-cnn-poll/

How afraid should Mitt Romney about Rick Perry’s surge since entering the Republican nomination race a month ago?

Very afraid, if you look at the latest CNN poll.

The Texas governor has emerged as the firm front-runner, outpacing Mr. Romney among declared candidates by 32% to 21% in the CNN survey.

More ominous for the Romney camp are the poll’s deeper findings.

Have seniors been scared off by Mr. Perry’s provocative language about Social Security being a failure and a Ponzi scheme? Not at all.

Registered Republicans over 50 favor Mr. Perry over Mr. Romney by 41% to 22%. Among those over 65, Mr. Perry leads Mr. Romney by a whopping 3-to-1 margin.

What about the electability issue? The former Massachusetts governor hopes to scare voters away from Mr. Perry by arguing that the Texan would be a weaker foe against President Barack Obama in the general election.

But voters see things differently. In the CNN poll, 42% thought Mr. Perry had the best chance of beating Mr. Obama, compared to 26% for Mr. Romney.

The poll also underscored the plunge in support for Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann. Among a field that also included the name of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Ms. Bachmann won the support of just 4% of registered Republicans, down from 10% last month and 12% in July.

    Attention Jerome Corsi, WND

    Mr. Corsi,

can you please clarify in your article, that both affidavit of Linda Jordan and Chito Papa came from Motion for Reconsideration filed by me in the US district court before judge Lamberth, that was posted on my website OrlyTaitzesq.com. Please, provide the link to my site. Please, note everything on my web site is copyright protected. Not only you did not request any permission to copy the material, you did not even provide a reference and a link.

I noticed, that often you download affidavits submitted by me to court and present them in your articles and books as a result of your own investigation. This happened previously with affidavits of investigators Susan Daniels, John Sampson and Douglas Vogt. WND readers deserve to know the truth, they deserve to know that those affidavits came from my pleadings, from my cases and they deserve to follow my cases on my web site and donate to my 24/7 pro bono work, that has been going on for 3 years now to great detriment and peril of death threats, harassment’s, bogus law suits and retaliation against me and my family. I am appalled and greatly concerned by the fact, that in spite of the fact, that for the last two years I have done most of the work, WND invited Gary Kreep to the recent cruise, as an attorney conducting this case, and WND is promoting and supporting Gary Kreep, who not only not doing one tenth of the work done by me, but also colluded with Phil Berg and harassing with a law suit me, my family, my licensed investigator Sankey, who was the first to discover Social Security fraud by Obama and all the database companies, which gathered this social security information, later used by investigators Sankey, Daniels and Sampson. The question is, on whose side is WND, its editor Mr. Farah and its staff? Are you on the side of an attorney, who for the last couple years sacrified nearly everything and carried on her shoulders most of the legal work of this case or are you on the side of attorneys, who spend most of the time attacking her with thousands of pages of most despicable defamation of her character in order to demoralize her, slander her, drain her from financial resources, time and emotional resources to make her unable to concentrate on her fight against our usurper in chief Barack Obama? Readers of WND and I deserve an honest answer from you.

  16. Update on congressional hearing on Obama

    Posted on | September 12, 2011 | 1 Comment

It was reported to me that Lamar Smith, chair of the congressional committee on the judiciary forwarded all the documentation to his legal counsel. I need your help in securing a meeting with Chairman Smith and his legal counsel ASAP.

Please call his aid James 202-224-3121 and e-mail his scheduling assistant ashlee.binyard@mail.house.com

Please, forward to her my latest filing in judge Lamberth’s courtroom with exhibits, as well as the docs from HI. I simply can’t seat on the phone. I will fly either to TX or DC and will bring all the exhibits and review with them. I need a meeting with Lamar Smith and his legal counsel ASAP. If you are able to schedule a meeting in DC, try to schedule a meeting with Darrell Issa, chair of the oversight committee, around the same time, as well as office of the inspector general of the department of Justice. If you have a confirmation of the meetings, call me at 949-683-5411 or e-mail at orly.taitz@gmail.com. Write on the top meeting with Lamar Smith

With respect to setting up a meeting betwen ISSA and TAITZ, while such a meeting could happen,I am really doubtful that ISSA would pay any real attention to it at all. The way that politician talks tells me that ISSA is trying to set himself up for far bigger things than trying to fry Soetoro’s rear end. My guess is that whatever is said or done nothing would happen anyway until AFTER the election in 2012…..at which point Soetoro will either already be out of office,or he will be starting a SECOND term. If he gets a second term you can be sure that he along with his GOONS,and the entire LIBERAL leftist wing of the Democratic party will go ALL OUT to take the final few steps into a Soetoro Dictatorship. I only hope that ISSA is prepared to accept such a catastrophic end to his political career, which he would be part and parcel to helping to create. But sadly it will then be too late for ISSA or anyone to save the US.

  20. I tend to think that the level of corruption that now seems to permeate the entire Federal government, has never before happened in US History. 21. “Proof Obama Uses Stolen Connecticut SSN – Obama 2009 IRS Tax Return @ CDR Kerchner’s Blog”

    “See the evidence here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/64758272/Proof-Obama-Uses-Stolen-Connecticut-SSN-Obama-2009-IRS-Tax-Return

See the cropped copy of a page from Obama’s 2009 Federal Income Tax Return posted online on White House Servers on 15 April 2010. …

When the White House staff originally posted the Obama 2009 tax return online they forgot to flatten the PDF file (same error was made with Obama’s long form Birth Certificate). They did not remove the layer showing Obama’s SSN used on the 2009 tax return. Thus they divulged it to the public.

The original filing showing Obama’s tax return header which shows the SSN he uses on one of the layers along with the date and time (Thursday, April 15, 2010, 11:15:29 a.m.) it was posted online is shown on pages 1 and 2 of the composite PDF document linked to above. Pages 3 and 4 of this composite PDF document show that several hours later (Thursday, April 15, 2010, 6:17:52 p.m.) the PDF tax return document was corrected to flatten the file and remove the layer with Obama’s SSN showing on it. Thus the SSN can no longer be seen in the current version shown and downloadable from the White House servers. But the original PDF file posted online on Thursday, April 15, 2010, 11:15:29 a.m., clearly shows Obama used the 042-68-4425 to file his 2009 tax returns in April 2010.”

  22. The back stabbing by bachmann and palin will come back to haunt them. Last night, I suggested to my Wife that palin might make a good VP choice for Perry and she was very adamant against the idea of palin being VP or POTUS. After seeing what a back stabbing opportunist palin is, I trust my Wife’s intuition.

Maybe karl rove or romney have gotten to palin feeding her with some false hope that she can win the nomination, but tokyo rove and romney will turn on her in a flash. Just watch what they will do to her if she announces. The rinos are desperate to get a rino nominated.

  23. http://www.businessinsider.com/sarah-palin-stands-up-for-michele-bachmann-slams-rick-perry-2011-9

Despite the praise for Bachmann, however, Palin said she is still not satisfied with the current GOP field — and continued to tease a possible 2012 presidential run.

  24. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/palin-president-2012-_b_959177.html

Palin’s got three options, in essence. Number one, throw her hat in the ring and vie for the Republican presidential nomination against the field. Number two, announce it’s been a big tease all along, and she won’t be running — and, likely, that she’s going to hold off endorsing any candidate “for now,” in a naked effort to keep her teasing of the media going strong for months to come. But there is a third option she might opt for, which seems (upon examination) to have a lot of potential upsides for Palin, and relatively few downsides: running as a third-party candidate.

Some might dismiss this as wishful Lefty thinking. To be honest, it would indeed be good news for Democrats if Palin decides to make a third-party bid. The prospect of splitting the Righty vote in the general election might just guarantee a second term for President Barack Obama. Which would be a downside not only for the Republican Party, but also for Palin herself, since she would likely be treated as a pariah from then on by a big segment of the Republican base (much as Ralph Nader is now seen by many Democrats).

But, putting all that aside, let’s examine the situation from Palin’s point of view. Assume, for the sake of argument, that Palin is intent on running for president (if you don’t make this assumption, then the rest of the argument — and the rest of this column — becomes irrelevant). She’s got two paths to take to win the White House — run as a Republican, or run as some sort of Independent.

If she runs as a Republican, she must win not one but two elections — the primaries and the general. This means not only taking on Romney, Perry, and all the rest, but it also means participating in the Republican nomination contest. She’d be expected to debate, in other words. She’d be required to stand on a stage with a pack of other Republicans, and compete on the level of answering questions from moderators. Running as an Independent would avoid all of that. The only debate stage she’d expect to appear on would be one with Barack Obama and a single Republican, next fall. Running as an Independent would mean her name would move straight to the general election battle — with no chance her candidacy would be derailed early next year.

What got me thinking about the possibility that Palin may “go rogue” with a third-party campaign is the timing. The window of opportunity for Palin to jump in the Republican primary race — and still have a viable chance of winning — is creaking shut. It has not yet closed entirely, though. If Palin is truly thinking about running in the GOP primaries, she could even be seen later as one smart cookie for waiting so long. Think about it — Palin’s main rivalry for the Republican “I’m not Mitt Romney” candidate slot has evolved while she’s been playing coy. Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman were anointed “serious candidates” by the punditocracy early in the race. At this point, though, Pawlenty has already dropped out and Huntsman is simply not taken seriously as a candidate by anyone outside of your average Washington cocktail party. From the Pawlenty and Huntsman period, the competition then developed into a race between the other two major Tea Party candidates — Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry. Bachmann had her moment in the sun, but is now fading fast in the polling. She may turn out to have been a one-trick pony (although there’s still a chance for her to stage a comeback, admittedly). Meanwhile, Rick Perry’s on the ascent in a big way.

Palin may, however, be playing the same waiting game with Perry that she successfully seems to have used on Bachmann. Rick Perry’s rise in the polling could be followed by a dive, if he says something so outside the pale that not just average Americans recoil, but Republican base voters as well. He could flame out, in other words. If he does so in the next few weeks (which will have lots of chances for him to do so, with a heavy debate schedule), Palin could capitalize on a Perry gaffe by quickly jumping in the Republican race and stealing his thunder. With both Perry and Bachmann exposed as flawed to the Republican electorate, Palin would be in excellent shape to instantly become the main “I’m not Romney” candidate out there. At this point in time, Palin is already regularly out-polling Bachmann with Republican primary voters — without even getting into the race (Palin seems to be picking up a lot of Bachmann’s former support, in fact). If Perry took a hard fall, Palin could easily move up from the number three slot to number two (or even to frontrunner status).

But that’s all assuming Perry has a meltdown. He’s already survived one debate without saying anything that freaked out the Republican base (at least, in the scanty polling done since this debate — time will tell if his Social Security comments eventually do his standing in the polls some harm). He’s a good campaigner, say all the Texas folks who have watched his career so far — so Perry simply can’t be counted out in any way. He is, after all, the current frontrunner.

If Perry continues his strong showing (and Romney continues his slide in the polls), Palin may decide to sit out the Republican race. Battling against a fellow Tea Partier wouldn’t be nearly as much fun as taking on Romney in a head-to-head matchup. If Palin ran as an Independent, she could avoid having to take on Perry until much later, assuming Perry wins the GOP nomination. If the 2012 race shaped up as “Perry v. Palin v. Obama,” then Perry and Palin would spend much more energy trying to outdo the other’s attacks on Obama than on attacking each other.

Of course, the path to actually winning the White House has almost never been that of a third-party candidacy. The Electoral College is set up to avoid this sort of thing, after all. Ross Perot got one out of every five votes cast in 1992, and he got precisely zero electoral votes. Palin has got to be aware of this. The real question is whether she would care or not. Which gets into the question of reading her mind — something nobody’s ever been very successful at doing (myself included, to be completely fair). Would Sarah Palin elect to go down in a (self-perceived) blaze of glory in 2012, or will she choose to take the more-standard route of vying for the Republican nomination? Will she get in at all, or has the past few months (years?) been nothing more than a monstrous tease? Will she “go rogue” on the Republican Party, the punditocracy, and the entire election? Or is this all some sort of late-summer Liberal fantasy my brain has dreamed up?

In other words, we’re right back to where we started: What will Sarah do? One way or another, we should all know by the end of this month.

  25. I’d like to see Palin jump into the Republican primary so her voice will be heard in the primaries
Although I definitely would not vote for her if she ran as a third party candidate.

  26. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/who_more_electable_PZmGSdg7gB0TQdOYJvMl5I

Gop regulars claim the “electability argument” will deliver the Republican nomination to Mitt Romney. They say things like, “Mitt Romney can win the general election by appealing to the middle. Rick Perry can’t win in the suburbs of Philadelphia and Milwaukee.”

Simple enough — but wrong. Romney’s no stronger on this front than Perry, the frontrunner in the polls. The core reasons: Perry’s support among the party’s base, and his strength on the key issues of the economy and job creation.

Based on what we know today, next November’s election will be decided on the economy and as a referendum on President Obama’s first term. The recent debates have confirmed that the GOP nominee will be either Perry or Romney. Significant late entrants into the field are extremely unlikely — the field is set.

  32. I love this blog when ever i see free speech posts 80 percent i just skip down and read the real ones who have jobs

  33. So you live in a vacuum. I can’t very responsible for your naivety. That being said, pointing out misguided policies is part of the political vetting process. Our country is under assault by illegal immigration that will forever change the political demographics forever. We need to know what Perry will do as President.

  34. Speaking of Sarah Palin, I heard the speech she delivered in Iowa last week was OUTSTANDING. She explains crony capitalism, the political elite, status quo in D.C. and what she would do to turn this great country around. She attacked the problems and offered clear, simple solutions. Probably her best speech EVER…..you decide.

  35. Thanks for keeping us posted with the liberal perspectives of our candidates from The Century Foundation, The Huffington Post and Bill Maher. No wonder every day you say this is the first time that you’ve researched these people. Maybe change your reading material.

These debates are amongst Republicans. Criticism if a candidate’s position on one issue does not disqualify them.

  36. Rush: bachmann jumped the shark her MORONIC comment that a girl became “retarded” after taking Gardasil.

    LOL!

My Wife told me that bachmann was an IDIOT! Now I see why she thinks bachmann and palin are both IDIOTS!

  37. Rush: Perry admitted he made a mistake with the executive order on Gardasil. GET OFF IT!

  38. CabbyAZ………………
I believe that you have my email addy. Will you please send me a frame. I have a question which could hasten legal action against Soetoro, which this time he won’t be able to slither away from. It is called Feder Income TAX FRAUD. Weiner’s peers got rid of him for a hell of a lot less. If we can somehow get a certified copy of Soetoro’s Federal Tax Return for 2009 we can go from there. I will, or you can forward it to Kerchner, and Appuzo.

  39. Rush: romney sounds like an opportunist demRat pandering to the media.

  40. Cabby AZ……………….
If the return bears the 425 Social Security number then it is on a document that has ALREADY BEEN FILED with the FEDERAL INCOME TAX SERVICE,and acted upon. So it isn’t as though they didn’t see it. If this is the case then he is now a perpetrator of Income Tax Fraud. He has used an illegal SS number.

  41. Rush: Caller says bachmann ruined her chances in the Republican Primary by her repeated attempts to smear Gov Perry.

  42. Rush is right, bachmann jumped the shark her MORONIC comment that a girl became “retarded” after taking Gardasil. Medical Professionals will rip her apart for that RIDICULOUSLY MORONIC statement.

  43. Hey folks …why even have a primary?. The king has been coronated. No critique allowed. Their skin is too thin.

  44. The Republican Primary Debates and the Primary Process would be greatly improved if all of the also-rans were eliminated now and Cain, Gingrich, Romney and Perry were allowed to have a meaningful, thoughtful debate without MORONS like bachmann.

  45. Bachmann has no shot at winning, but somebody needs to hold the party’s “annointed one’s ” feet to the fire.

  46. We know that paxson is a demRat MORON, but obviously he is a RACIST as well who thinks Herman Cain is not qualified to challenge Rick Perry.

IMHO, Cain and Gingrich are far more qualified than demRat paxson’s MORONIC gal-pal bachmann.

  47. Rush: bo is eager for romney to be “our Nominee.”

  48. I don’t think Herman Cain is qualified to challenge Rick Perry? Please humor me and explain. I’ve only been backing Cain for six months or longer now.

FS specializes in inflammatory rhetoric. The empty can rattles the most.

  49. I will add that Perry’s rebuttal to his soft illegal immigrant stance was less than fulfilling for me. It isn’t just about “different sounding last names” as Perry put it.

  50. We know that paxson is a demRat MORON, but obviously he is a RACIST as well who thinks Herman Cain is not qualified to challenge Rick Perry.

IMHO, Cain and Gingrich are far more qualified than demRat paxson’s MORONIC gal-pal bachmann.

demRat RACIST paxson has abandoned Cain and become the champion of RACIST michelle bachmann because Cain has the class not to SMEAR Gov Perry like demRat paxson’s gal-pal RACIST bachmann.

  51. Rush is defending Gov Perry’s position on immigration today. Rush’s opinion obviously has far more weight that a demRat MORON like paxson.

  52. A few days ago FS was calling Cain a “loser” and that he should drop out. The words and opinions of FS are kike the weather in Colorado. If you don’t like it, wait five minutes.

  53. Sorry like the weather …

  54. Think about the LIEberal debating style of FS, folks .. opinions change like the wind, inflammatory charges of racism. Poorly constructed opinions. No set of core beliefs. Win the battle, throwing the war out the window.

  55. The other day FS said that Bachmann should be speaker of tie House. Today she is a racist

Hi, Old Salt – No, I don’t have your email addy but do have those of a couple of people who have yours. The latest federal income tax return which I saw was posted over at Orly’s. It was a gift tax return for the year 2009 and it seems as though the social security no. for Bummer was not properly redacted. Actually, there were two gift tax returns – one for each Mooochelle and Bummer. It is most usual for spouses to both file when each spouse consents to share in the other’s gifts.

Is this the situation of which you speak? I could look it up and transmit you a copy, but Bill is the one who alerted me. He probably could do it better. You may want to contact him. If there is something more I can do, let me know. Are we sure that this is bona fide?

  87. I am going to be straight up here. I am having a very hard time getting behind anyone of the candidates. Every single one of them know without a doubt that Obama is not eligible and never will be eligible to be president. That in itself is a very big deal to me. They have all skipped around this issue and are still avoiding it. I have a very hard time believing anyone of them about much of anything. I know as the next few months pass I will be scrutinizing their voting records and there is no way they can hide from this. I hear all of them complaining about Obama and his policies. If they would come together and get him removed then that would be the first important step in taking this country back. Every single one of them have failed all of us by being silent. This in itself makes me distrust all of the candidates. Further more, I know that I am going to have to vote for one of them but I am not liking what I see or what I hear. They for the most part are being what they are best at which is being a politician. Show me something that I can believe or someone I can believe in. Words are just that words.

The infighting at this site is unreal. We should all be working together for same common goal which is to get Obama out and take this country back. Please cut out the name calling it does not achieve anything.

  90. http://motherjones.com/mojo/2011/09/vaccine-expert-problem-people-michele-bachmann

At Monday night’s GOP presidential debate, Rep. Michele Bachmann went after Rick Perry hard on the Texas governor’s 2006 decision to mandate the HPV vaccine for adolescent girls. On Tuesday morning, Bachmann doubled down, telling NBC’s Today Show about a conversation she’d had following the debate, with a Tampa woman. “She told me that her little daughter took that vaccine, that injection, and she suffered from mental retardation thereafter,” Bachmann said. “It can have very dangerous side effects.” She said the same thing on Fox News: “There’s a woman who came up crying to me tonight after the debate. She said her daughter was given that vaccine. She told me her daughter suffered mental retardation as a result. There are very dangerous consequences.”

This is a serious charge: A public official putting young girls at a risk for mental retardation, all in the name of crony capitalism. But is there anything to it? No—and according to Dr. Paul Offit, author of Autism’s False Prophets, Bachmann’s charged rhetoric could itself have dangerous consequences.

Bachmann, who is no stranger to conspiracy theories and junk science, is a little late to the party when it comes to the debilitating effects of vaccines. The charge leveled by the woman in Tampa—that vaccines can cause mental defects—was first raised in the late 1990s, and has been consistently debunked ever since.

This is not a definitive answer, but truthfully I have no confidence in anything that John Woodman alleges. He either was or is still a Tea Partyer and seems to want to make a name for himself by writing a book that allegedly debunks the multitude of experts who claim Bummer’s birth certificate released to the public in April is a complete fraud. I have not read his book but from what I’ve heard his purposes sound a bit nefarious to me.

  94. …add thinkprogress.org and motherjones to our “conservative” friend’s list of reading materials.

  95. Why is Perry being shoved down the throats of the American repus/conservative voters? Why is the msm doing flips to promote Perry’s status as the supposed front runner? I don’t buy into the hype. He lost me years ago when he forced the Gardisil issue on his female constituents.
had for him when he forced the Gardisil vaccine on the little girls in his state. I was horrified that a conservative repub did something so government intrusive to his own state citizens. He can try to explain it away, excuse it all he wants but the fact remains he signed it and was for it. Either he didn’t know what he was signing —very bad– or he DID know what he was signing and did it anyway–worse than bad.

  96. http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2011/09/13/mitt-romneys-mixed-and-michele-bachmanns-terrible-performances-on-health-care-at-the-cnn-tea-party-debate/2/

    Michele Bachmann: the ugly

But, hey, at least Mitt Romney is thoughtful on the issue of health care reform. The same can’t be said for Michele Bachmann, who was fundamentally unserious in every aspect of the debate.

Rep. Bachmann spent a lot of time hammering Gov. Perry for his executive order requiring 12-year-old Texan girls to receive Gardasil, an HPV vaccine that prevents cervical cancer. (Parents retained the option of opting out of the program, and the executive order was never implemented, due to intense public opposition. Cervarix is an alternative vaccine marketed by GlaxoSmithKline.)

I’m generally not a fan of insurance mandates. They drive up the cost of insurance, and are susceptible to the influence of special-interest lobbying (e.g., the acupuncturists’ society lobbying for mandated coverage of acupuncture). But as far as mandates go, vaccines are the least objectionable. HPV is an infectious virus that causes cervical cancer; by giving girls the vaccine, we can ensure that carriers of HPV don’t infect others, thereby reducing the incidence of cervical cancer. Is this really so terrible? According to Bachmann, it is:

“I’m a mom. And I’m a mom of three children. And to have innocent little 12-year-old girls be forced to have a government injection through an executive order is just flat out wrong. That should never be done. It’s a violation of a liberty interest.

That’s—little girls who have a negative reaction to this potentially dangerous drug don’t get a mulligan. They don’t get a do-over. The parents don’t get a do-over. That’s why I fought so hard in Washington, D.C., against President Obama and Obamacare.

I mean, come on. Pretty much every sentence in this passage is false. No one was “forced to have a government injection.” As I noted above, people could opt out of the never-implemented program. And Gardasil, Merck’s HPV vaccine, went through a rigorous, FDA-approved program of clinical trials and manufacturing inspections, with the weight of the evidence indicating that it is far more “dangerous” to go without the vaccine than to take it. Is it also “flat out wrong” that innocent 2-month-old babies get the diphtheria vaccine?

It gets worse. In media appearances following the debate, Bachmann claimed, all evidence to the contrary, that HPV vaccines can cause “mental retardation.”

The sensitivity around the HPV vaccine comes from the fact that HPV is sexually transmitted. And Perry attempted to respect that legitimate concern by allowing parents to opt out of the program. But to me, Bachmann’s inflammatory, fact-free rhetoric is reminiscent of the campaign against fluoridation of the public water supply: something that some in the 1950s considered a “communist plot to undermine public health.”

I generally oppose communist plots to undermine public health, but fluoridation didn’t turn out to be one. Neither will Gardasil. If anything, it’s Bachmann who is undermining public health by scaring people away from vaccines that prevent cervical cancer.

I can’t leave the subject of Bachmann without bringing up the fact that she repeated her eccentric claim that it’s “unconstitutional” for states to impose health insurance mandates. I don’t know a single constitutional scholar, left or right, who believes this; states have long been held to have this plenary power (which is used, for example, to impose auto insurance mandates). Does Bachmann think auto insurance mandates are unconstitutional?

For all of Bachmann’s lectures on the importance of adhering to the Constitution, this one is a head-scratcher. In the South Carolina Palmetto Forum, Bachmann said, “I believe that it’s inherent in the Constitution” that states couldn’t impose insurance mandates. Princeton professor Robert George, trying to be helpful, asked, “So to say it’s inherent sounds like there’s not a particular provision you can point to?” To which Bachmann responded: “Well, I’m sure you could enlighten me as to that provision.” That is, she doesn’t know.

So: on the most important issue related to the constitutionality of Obamacare, Bachmann isn’t aware of what the Constitution actually says. If there were a more significant indictment of Bachmann’s candidacy, I don’t know what it would be.

    Hey All,

    FS comments:

“Cain, Gingrich or Perry would be EXCELLENT Presidents. The Republicans have a great field of candidates.”

Last week it was Huntsman who FS was fawning over, and this week it is Cain and Gingrich.

FS is the biggest JOKE of this election season, no question about it.

The primaries haven’t even started yet, and FS is demanding people drop out of the race.

CW, can’t you assist FS in getting help for his mental problems?

And what is it with FS’s obsession with Rush? I quit listening to Rush when he proved how much of a HYPOCRITE he is five years ago with his oxycotton (sic??).

I think what the debate (I got to see about the first 3/4 of it) did accomplish, is it showed that Perry has some ‘splaining to do.

His argument about getting girls vacinated was that “I always error on the side of life”, seems to have gone out the window when it is discovered that his action COST a young woman HER life.

    Interesting.

Sadly I didn’t get to see any questions on immigration.

  100. Cabby, thanks for responding. I appreciate your take on it and agree for the most part with your assessment of Mr. Woodman. I think CW has good instincts. What I meant to ask, should have been more clear, is what do you make of WND doing what he claimed–removing the original images from their post and replacing them with redacted ones, without apparently mentioning the update or the reason for the change? All in all, it makes no difference what the person’s birth certificate number is/was because the exemplars every compares to come from Mrs. Nordyke, who worked for the East/West Center which looms large in the history of both of Obama’s alleged parents. It’s disturbing, though, to see WND do something like that, which they apparently did do. If it was to protect the privacy of the person who supplied the birth certificate for comparison, then at least they should say so.

  101. Sorry. I meant “everyone” compares to. 🙂 Brain runs ahead of my fingers, sometimes.

  102. bachmann is a Constitutional MORON!

    Tina,

You made a comment a few days ago that I’ve been meaning to answer.

You commented something to the affect of:

Libertarians just want to be left alone to do whatever they want and to hell with everyone else.

That’s not an exact quote, but it was the gist of her comment.

For someone who has admitted they were a democrat for years, and then to claim they have “seen the light” and become conservative, and then try to tell TRUE conservatives how they “should” present themselves (non drinker/smoker, church goer, family person etc), just seems like a slap in the face to me.

For you to suggest that :”libertarians” don’t care about others is just plain wrong.

I donate time yearly to habitat for humanity and volunteer 4 hours on most weekends at the local hospital. I donate to PAV and to the local Fraternal Order of the Police and give food and clothes to the local homeless shelter. I donated a dollar last weekend twice for the Patriot Golf Day having been able to play two rounds on Labor Day Weekend.

Care to explain what YOU do for YOUR Community?

For you to suggest that “libertarians” want nothing more than to sit at home smoking dope and having wanton sex all day long is not only a misrepresentation of who “libertarians” are, it really makes me think that instead of actually researching what “libertarians” stand for, she believes what the media wants her to think.

Tina, if you believe the Government has the authority to legislate citizens BEHAVIOR (again when that behavior doesn’t invade someone else’s rights), then you have a warped sense of what the Founders intended for our Country. Maybe you should read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and explain to me WHERE in these documents can you find ANY evidence that the Founders wanted the Government to DICTATE what is “liberty” and what is unacceptable behavior (and again IF that behavior doesn’t impede other people’s rights).

One of the things that really gets me with some people is their belief that the SCOTUS is supposed to interpret the Constitution, and that the Constitution is a “living” document. The SC is supposed to interpret the INTENT of the Constitution at the time it was ratified, not interpret it to mean whatever they think it should mean at this time.

There is no way on God’s green earth that the Founders believed that the Government should be as RESTRCTIVE as it is today. The sad thing is, “they” do the “restricitng” little by little, so that the “masses” don’t realize what is being done to them until it’s too late, or the “restrictions” don’t affect “them” so it is alright with “them”. (smoking restrictions are a GREAT example of this, non smokers prefer to stay out of the issue, because it doesn’t affect them).

I linked to Ron Paul’s site and his thoughts on Israel, and asked her for her opinion on where Paul is wrong, and I didn’t get a response. I can only conclude that this means that Tina could care less for the FACTS, and wishes to remain indoctrinated.

Israel is right at about 70 years old, and at some point you have to get the child off the teat.

For you to suggest that Israel can’t stand on it’s own two feet after some 60 years, is an INSULT to Israel, in my opinion.

Like Paxson and others, I believe that Paul has a message that needs to be included in the Conservative Platform. I hear more and more candidates talking about the Federal Reserve, but I also believe that once in office this “issue” will go to the back burner. I don’t agree with Paul on SOME issues, but he has a STRONG message on the size of Government (his “close the Department of Education etc” statement got one of the biggest responses from the audience), and the Fedeal Reserve.

Cain impressed me the most last night from what I heard.

Paxson, you have chosen a good candidate to support.

  120. IB, I gave you a long response on Israel which others commented on regarding Ron Paul. and as far as personal behavior there are many liberals and libertarians who behave very well. there are also many who love their personal liberty and won’t touch conservative issues such as porn on the Internet and filth in Hollywood movies. that is my point.

  121. http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2011/09/13/mitt-romneys-mixed-and-michele-bachmanns-terrible-performances-on-health-care-at-the-cnn-tea-party-debate/2/

If there were a more significant indictment of Bachmann’s candidacy, I don’t know what it would be

  123. “The article discussed the dangers of a massive solar storm striking
the Earth and the long-term effects upon satellites. Why is that a
troublesome issue? If satellites go down — and the space storm theory
holds that a large enough solar blast could disable satellites in
orbit around the Earth for as long as 10 years — so goes much about
    life as we know it.

Do you like your television signal? If you like that Global
Positioning System in your car, you can kiss it goodbye, but
satellites are not the only things that would be affected by a massive
    solar storm.

Last week a massive power grid shutdown occurred in the Southwest,
leaving millions of people in dark, sweltering heat. A strong enough
solar storm would repeat that same story around the world and would
affect billions of people in the United States alone. Electromagnetic
waves from such storms can cause disruptions that could affect the
Internet, cell service, landline phone service and so much more.”

  125. IB, I think people have discerned that I am fairly socially conservative. I know that smoking and drinking is legal, but I’d like to make it as hard as possible to smoke and drink. I’d love even more taxes on smoking and drinking. Libertarians wouldn’t particularly like that view, but I am all for it. I don’t have all the answers on what it would take to keep people from taking drugs, but I’d like to do everything possible to make it more difficult to take drugs. Employers often require drug tests to work in their offices. Maybe insurance companies should require them, which could force a private conversation between doctors and patients about the dangers of illegal drugs. Again, I don’t know. Most libertarians would scream and shout at this and their personal liberty to do whatever they want. I think our society has been ruined by the liberals. Far too many people are killed by drunk drivers. As a mother and a conservative, I have no problem with trying to come up with more ideas on these things that would reward people for acting properly, if at all possible.

  126. FS, I do agree that this mandate issue has gotten out of hand . perry was trying to stop cancer, and had an opt-out. I guess they feel it is something to knock Perry on.

  127. Need more money to decrease the debt? Add a dollar to every six pack of beer and bottle of wine sold. Drinking increases health problems which we all pay for, adds to domestic violence, and increases car crashes. I am proud to be a non drinker and have been for many years. Same thing with smoking. It is disgusting. Make people pay more money for it. I am proud to say this. People need to clean up their acts. Libertarians will hate this. Many conservatives may agree with me. That is my point. I think I have made this clear enough so I won’t beat a dead horse.

  128. Did you know this? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is the president of Iran has been openly for a long time promising to obtain materials to manufacture nuclear weapons so Iran and other countries that will unite with Iran and come to fight against the United States of America and Israel to kill and to literally destroy and wipe out the United States of American and Israel off of the face of the earth……

Here is an example of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad using the Islamist Muslim tactic of jihad war in approved Islamic Muslim lying called “taqiyya” to further the spread and the overthrow and conquering of Islam over all governments and nations on earth by any means, especially by jihad war and brutal force together with financial and political jihad stealth:

“‘No need’ for Iranian nuclear arms: Ahmadinejad”
    Excerpt:

“These included “activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a missile”.

The Islamic republic insists, however, that its activities are aimed exclusively at developing nuclear power.

“This is an old and repeated story,” Ahmadinejad told NBC television.

“In principle, we are against nuclear weapons because it is against our beliefs and our ideology,” he said.

The UN Security Council has slapped four rounds of sanctions on Iran to get it to suspend uranium enrichment, a process which can produce fuel for a reactor but which also can be used in a nuclear warhead.

The 35-member IAEA board was also to discuss nuclear safety in Japan following the Fukushima disaster last March.

The IAEA issued a 12-point program encouraging fresh assessments and emergency plans for the world’s 440 nuclear plants.”

“OFFICIAL COUNTDOWN TO UNITED NATIONS VOTE TO SPLIT JERUSALEM”

    Excerpt:

“America is on a prophetic countdown to the gravest days in our history. In a few weeks, a vote will be taken at the United Nations that will force America to choose between standing with Israel and standing with her enemies. The Bible says we do NOT wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. This is a spiritual battle, and it must be fought with spiritual weapons.

Israel has asked the Jerusalem Prayer Team for its support at the United Nations and a week later as the nations of the world gather for the demonic Durban III conference to continue accusing Zionists of being racists. The first Durban Conference happened in 2001. At that conference, the Palestinians distributed copies of the anti-Semitic The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion to all delegates. It was the most evil, anti-Semitic UN assembly ever against Israel.

The conference ended on September 8, 2001…and 72 hours later, the US was attacked by Radical Islam. I can assure you that in the spirit realm, this was no coincidence. God’s Word promises a curse on any nation that touches Jerusalem. Once before, an American President attempted to divide Jerusalem and surrender the Temple Mount to radical Islam. That president was Bill Clinton. Now President Obama plans to do the same—this time by formally recognizing a Palestine State at the UN in September within days of the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

For this reason, the Jerusalem Prayer Team will stand in the gap with a major campaign to stop this insanity. Israel will boycott this anti-Semitic conference in New York. When Durban II was held in Geneva, I was there, sitting in an empty chair at the Israel desk and defending that tiny nation as your ambassador. I have also supported Israel at the UN conferences for decades. Additionally, I stood up to Iran’s evil president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last September face-to-face and will do it again this year.

I do not believe for a second that all the agony America is going through is coincidental. America needs Divine intervention that can only come from God’s people standing in the gap like Esther. This national campaign will cost $350,000. I am asking every Jerusalem Prayer Team member to stand up to Jew hatred like Corrie ten Boom and her family did in Holland during the Holocaust.”

“IB, I think people have discerned that I am fairly socially conservative. I know that smoking and drinking is legal, but I’d like to make it as hard as possible to smoke and drink.”

You would huh? So you believe that car seats for kids should be DICTATED to parents now also? Interesting, because I can remember growing up and either wanting to sit on the “hump” in the car, or if riding in a truck sitting in back on the tire hump. A kid now days can NOT do either of these things.

Seat belts are the same way, Government has no CONSTITUTIONAL authority to dictate that we have to wear a seat belt. Oh you can argue that this ISN’T a Federal mandate, but what you also need to point out is that to get Federal Highway funds you have to have seat belt laws AND a .08 alchohol content law.

And you consider this a “social conservatives” view of what Government can DICTATE to us?

In my opinion this is NOT a “conservative” stance on the smoking issue, the “conservative” stance would be to allow the OWNER of an establishment to decide whether he/she allows smoking in his place of business or not.

    Tina continues:

“I’d love even more taxes on smoking and drinking.”

Again, you believe this is a “conservative” viewpoint?

What an elitist view to think that the Government should tax someone at a higher rate than someone else because they do something YOU think is wrong. Kind of screams “class warfare”.

    Tina goes on:

“Libertarians wouldn’t particularly like that view, but I am all for it.”

And you can have whatever opinion you want on the subject. It doesn’t mean you are right, but you are entitled to your opinion.

    Tina next comments:

“I don’t have all the answers on what it would take to keep people from taking drugs, but I’d like to do everything possible to make it more difficult to take drugs.”

    How about THIS novel idea:

Make EVERYONE responsible for their own actions. Stop all of the Government programs that try to “get people off” drugs.

It’s kind of easy to do wrong when you know there is a Government program to fall back on. Besides, as a CONSERVATIVE, I don’t believe that I am responsible for someone else’s addictions, only my own.

If I CHOOSE to “help out” in some way ON MY OWN, then so be it, but the Government has NO AUTHORITY under our Constitution to have these programs.

    Tina comments:

“Employers often require drug tests to work in their offices.”

Imagine that, a private busness person has the ability to decide what kind of employee he/she will hire.

    Tina continues:

“Maybe insurance companies should require them, which could force a private conversation between doctors and patients about the dangers of illegal drugs.”

Again, a novel idea, allowing a private company to decide who they will cover. I wholeheartedly agree with this, and then companies would start up that insures those “other” people, at a higher cost, of course, which would be appropriate.

    Tina goes on:

“Again, I don’t know. Most libertarians would scream and shout at this and their personal liberty to do whatever they want.”

UMMMMM, I don’t think so, you are comparing apples to oranges when you suggest Government can do what PRIVATE companies SHOULD do.

    Tina next comments:

“I think our society has been ruined by the liberals.”

But yet you believe that the Government should tax certain people more for their BEHAVIOR. I think you are still deep down a liberal leaning person.

    Tina comments:

“Far too many people are killed by drunk drivers.”

And far too many people are killed by tornados, or fires or any number of things. No matter how hard you try, you will NOT be able to legislate BEHAVIOR. NO matter how many laws are on the books, people are STILL going to do stupid things.

    Tina concludes:

“As a mother and a conservative, I have no problem with trying to come up with more ideas on these things that would reward people for acting properly, if at all possible.”

So you think the Government should “rewarded” people huh?

    Interesting thought process.

Tina commented something earlier that I’d like to respond to also:

“there are also many who love their personal liberty and won’t touch conservative issues such as porn on the Internet and filth in Hollywood movies. that is my point.”

Internet porn and filth in Hollywood movies is NOT a “conservative” issue.

The way you “protest” these things is to NOT attend or view them.

So you believe that the Government has the authority to DICTATE what we see and hear now too huh?

    One last thing:

    Tina commented:

“FS, I do agree that this mandate issue has gotten out of hand . perry was trying to stop cancer, and had an opt-out. I guess they feel it is something to knock Perry on.”

So did they have an “opt out” or not? I haven’t read the EO to see for myself, maybe Tina has.

Either way, the “if it saves one life” argument just doesn’t wash with me. “Erroring on the side of life” doesn’t sit well with me either.

PARENTS are responsible for their children, NOT Government, and it is up to the PARENT to decide whether or not to vacinate, and not some Governor sitting on his perch “above” the people, “looking out for them”. I’m NOT suggesting the vacine isn’t a good idea, I just can NOT stomach the Government “telling” us that we have TO DO something to our own bodies, or to our kids bodies.

Just my two cents (more like a quarter wth inflation and all) worth.

  147. Starla | September 13, 2011 at 7:49 pm |
Very interesting video, Starla, thank you.

  148. In the interview, Attorney Apuzzo also discusses the injustice suffered by LTC Terry Lakin, who most recently served as Chief of Primary Care and Flight Surgeon for the Pentagon’s DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic. He was also the lead Flight Surgeon responsible for caring for Army Chief of Staff General Casey’s pilots and air crew. LTC Lakin was also selected for promotion to Colonel. As a commissioned officer, LTC Lakin took an officer’s oath which provides:

“I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” 5 U.S.C. Sec. 3331, Oath of Office.

Note that the oath refers to “all enemies, foreign and domestic.” If a sitting President is not legitimately holding the power of his office, he can be considered a “domestic” enemy. The officer’s oath is also different from an enlisted person’s oath. While enlisted personnel are bound by the Uniform Code of Military Justice to obey lawful orders, an officer’s oath does not include any provision to obey orders. Officers are bound by this oath to disobey any order that violates the Constitution of the United States. Hence, the officer’s oath calls for loyalty to the Constitution and the Constitutional Republic and not to the President. Another way to look at the oath is that it calls for allegiance to a political philosophy (republican government) and not to the President or Commander in Chief.

The point is your HUSBAND put the child in the car seat, NOT the Government.

Are you suggesting that your husband wouldn’t have put your child in a car seat unless the Government dictated it to him?

THAT’S YOUR JOB TO DICTATE TO YOUR HUSBAND.

Thanks for letting me make that point.

    Tina continues:

“Idiots may not want to wear seat belts, that is their choice, but I dont think we should pay for their hospital care.”

The Government shouldn’t be paying for ANYONE’S hospital care.

Insurance companies should DICTATE that their customers wear seat belts, NOT THE GOVERNMENT.

    Tina goes on:

“Filth in Hollywood movies and violence against women is an issue for women, and it should be one for men too.”

I just do not get this.

You should be proud of your convictions, no doubt about it, but please do NOT try to tell me what is “moral” or “disusting” because you “think” it is.

It still doesn’t give the Government Constitutional authority to decide what is “low morales and disgusting behavior”.

    Tina concludes:

“Same with those who look at playboy and go to filthy movies. For shame.Clean up your acts.”

Let me put it this way,

    I smoke,

I subscribe to Playboy (and Hustler and Penthouse also)

    I watch porn

Everything you “think” a conservative isn’t, I am:

But yet I am MORE conservative than you are.

The point is BEHAVIOR doesn’t make you a conservative or liberal.

Your political ideology makes you one or the other.

There’s a HUGH difference in what you do in your personal life, and what you believe the Government has Constitutional authority to do.

    Learn to know the difference.

I didn’t realize it until you mentioned the smaller image on the t.v. I am such a creature of habit that something like that “image size” drives me crazy till I get it back to what I am used to. This was a major disruption to the satellite signal. I found several States with same problems. Perhaps it was a solar storm……or someone messing with our space satelites…….G.E. and their past dealings with Iran and now with China makes u wonder what technology went there as well.

“I think everyone who’s honest would agree we have got to make reforms in entitlement programs — Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security,” McDonnell said Tuesday on his monthly radio show on WNIS in Nofolk. ‘There’s no way to be able to fully deal with the financial woes that affect our nation…there’s no way to be able to pass on a great country to the next generation if we don’t get entitlements under control.”

“I do agree with most of the Republican candidates on the need to reform Social Security,’’ he said. “There’s a number of ways to do it…I think you have to look at everything from payments levels and entrepreneurial ways to give people the ability to control their own lives and outcomes and decisions on where to put money. There are a lot of good ideas on the table and they need to be explored.’’

  170. To be honest FS, I would like to think the best of you, but Palin and Bachmann are very low in the polls and there is no reason to attack them with the intensity that you do. This is my understanding of the law and regs regarding SSNs and ITINs. My oh my how many unusual SSNs of questionable provenance seem to run in the Obama family. | by CDR Charles Kerchner (Ret)

ITINs are given for tax reporting purposes to legal aliens in the USA. ITINs begin with the number 9 and have other unique number strings in other positions. Illegal aliens in the USA of course won’t apply for an ITIN since they are not in the USA legally. They simply buy a stolen SSN on the street and operate under the radar until caught. And then as we’ve seen, if after you are caught, the system learns you are related to Barack Obama you apply for refugee status and have the deportation order canceled.

Do you even realize that he is the only one that has served in the military in this Republican race?
I really pray for you sir, honestly!Every American also to wake up and realize what they are doing to us.
Why in the world would I put another country best interest first then my own?I’m here for my country sir and that is America!God will take care of the rest.

  197. GOP wins in NY9! GOP has not held this seat since 1920’s. Huge win. Huge Jewish support puts GOP over the top. Great news for GOP! This was Weiner’s seat.

  198. For any doubters, this win is why we should not nominate Ron Paul so the GOP can pull in Jewish voters angry with Obama on Israel. There is no way to spin it. This an earthquake loss for the Dems.

Wow Gordo, just insane isn’t it. They’re getting very desperate. Thanks for the heads up. I tried to get the P&E with the link, it came up as an attack site with options to get me out of here, I hit ignore. I have several tabs open and noticed that warning then turned into the P&E’s site. I think someone’s playing games. Now it works, on Firefox.
Thanks for bringing some other probably more important news to the forefront. There are more important things going on than the GOP candidate/debate infighting. They’re will be time for that later, IN ABOUT MONTHS!!!

  205. Apologize for the double post, it was unintentional as I added in the “10” on the months.

  206. CNN is reporting……..

GOP candidate Robert Turner wins special election for House seat vacated by former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner.
The GOP captures the solidly Democratic seat for the first time since 1923 and may pose a threat to Democrats heading into the 2012 elections.

  208. Good morning CW et. al.!

I see Obama will be in N. C.. Will you be attending his rally CW? I’m fairly sure you and I would not be welcome.

I would love to see you have an opportunity to ask a few questions.

    Have a great day! Zach

  209. Good morning Zach, et al.
The last time I was at a Obama rally was 2008.
I can barely stomach watching him on tv or video.
I have only vomited twice since I was thirteen.
I am not ready to make it 3 times.

  210. Here’s a good article:

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/09/ben_franklin_skewers_obamas_jobs_proposal.html

CW- I understand. I change the channel as soon as he comes on.

  211. You guys need some Obama Barf Bags and I’ll be glad to send you some.
I love to see people laugh when I give them a barf bag. It’s my therapy.
If you feel you can trust me, send me your address. I’ve mailed them to others who comment here.

  212. Thank you Jonah for your kind (and sanitary) offer. However, most people here know my wife voted for Obama. If I whipped out an Obama Barf Bag, I think I’d be sleeping in the dog house for a month.

    Thanks again.

  213. The best thing about the New York 9th win is that billary could not save the demRat. If bill C. can not even get a demRat elected in the 9th, then there is no way he can get boHillary elected President in 2012.

    http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/09/bill-clinton-david-weprin-robo-calls-anthony-weiner-/1?csp=34news

The Democrat seeking to succeed Anthony Weiner in Congress is getting some big-name help from former president Bill Clinton and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who urge voters to support David Weprin in tomorrow’s special election.

  214. Retail Sales at 0.0%

    President Zero strikes again.

  215. Zach,

Some of my own children voted for Obama. Family gatherings following the 2008 election were quite uncomfortable. You send your kids away to college and they come home with lots of bad habits. One of them even became a vegetarian! 🙂

  216. Zach,

How anyone can still be supporting boHillary boggles the mind.

“However, most people here know my wife voted for Obama. If I whipped out an Obama Barf Bag, I think I’d be sleeping in the dog house for a month.”

  217. FS – She comes from a long line of Democrats and the blinders somehow seem to be spotwelded when it comes to trusting that they have big hearts, are truthful, good intentions etc. She’s the love of my life, so we don’t talk politics.

    Take care.
    Zach

  218. Republicans should run an ad similar to this against boHillary in 2012.

  219. I would not be surprised to see Cain, Gingrich and Perry rise in the polls this week while romney and bachmann sink further down.

  220. Obama campaign launches snitch line website

It’s official. The Obama campaign launched a new snitch line website today ostensibly to handle “misinformation” out there against President Obama.

    http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/40304

  221. FS @ 9:21

I just read yesterday that Romney gained some ground in the polls.

  222. I can’t wait until all the also-rans who contribute nothing to the debates are weeded out. A debate with Cain, Gingrich, Perry and romney would be enlightening. It is disgusting to have to listen to UNMITIGATED LIARS & MORONS like bachmann.

  223. http://opinion.latimes.com/opinionla/2011/09/rick-perrys-poll-numbers-are-a-wonder-most-commented.html

Rick Perry’s going to win the GOP nom. Why? Because unlike Mitt Romney, Perry’s just so lifelike. That’s Jonah Goldberg’s take, anyway. In his Tuesday column, he writes that Romney “has an authentic inauthenticity problem.”

I have shaken Romney’s hand a few times, and I can say he feels surprisingly lifelike. But politically he just seems fake, even though what you see is what he really is. Romney is a much better candidate than he was in 2008, but there’s still something about the guy that makes people say, “There’s just something about that guy.” And given Romney’s rich history of flip-flops, he just seems untrustworthy to the tea-fueled base of the GOP.

That’s in contrast with Perry, who, Goldberg says…

doesn’t have to worry about seeming lifelike enough. He needs to figure out just how much larger than life he can appear without becoming a caricature.

    …because Republicans:

really want to like their nominee. Right now, Perry is in that sweet spot.

  224. I could see 2012 becoming the biggest landslide loss for the dems in American history. They are going down like the Titanic. Time to man the lifeboats! Their only hope is to convince barky to do an LBJ. Otherwise, they are burnt toast. Make no mistake, NY 9 tells the story, and it’s an UGLY story for the Marxists. The only way they can hold onto power is to send out their thugs and go the martial law route. I wouldn’t put anything past the SOBs, but I remain optimistic that we’ll be able to flush the turds down the toilet in 2012.
