The Citizen Wells blog has for several years pointed out the efforts of Patrick Fitzgerald and the US Justice Department to protect Obama in the “prosecution” of Rod Blagojevich.

“As an update to my continuing effort to construct a biography of U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald as well as provide special reporting related to the retrial of Milorad Blagojevich, I am writing this morning to officially report upon and inform The May Report and NuclearChicago readership of the following:
Speculative Scenario A). Is Team Blagojevich sandbagging or laying-upon its sword to benefit both the Obama and Emanuel Administrations (i.e., The-Fix-is-In )? or

“4). To date, I have already witnessed a series of very telling moments during the retrial that often go unreported by our local mainstream media. Another telling moment that often goes unreported in our local media is just how strategic, cerebral and calculating Governor Blagojevich comes across during the replay of the wiretaps. Same political calculus and cunning often get marginalized by the more sensational “F-Bomb laced recordings” played in open court. As an aside, the “F-Bomb laced recordings” are, at times, piss-in-your-pants hilarious.
Specifically, Blagojevich mentions (via wiretaps) on several occasions just how toxic and politically-nuclear his mere presence is to the then pending Obama Administration visa vi Blagojevich’s relationship with Obama confidante – Atoin “Tony” Rezko.
Aside from often complaining on the wiretaps about how the Mainstream Press often displaces “everything Rezko” on Blagojevich while providing Obama’s Rezko involvement with a Hall Pass, Blagojevich clearly incorporates this same Rezko toxicity factor into tactics Blagojevich used in developing his Quid Pro Quo strategy with the Obama Administration (and emissaries) as, per the wiretaps, Blagojevich clearly communicates a legitimate option of inserting himself as the bona fide replacement for Obama’s U.S. Senate seat. Further, it is my understanding that statutorily – Blagojevich had a legitimate legal basis for self-appointment to same U.S. Senate Seat.”

I will expand upon the relevance of the Blagojevich self-appointment (and U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald’s presumable understanding of relevance based upon his actions) in a later report as same relevance has gone under-reported via mainstream media, however, it is important for readership to understand that the “exponentially enhanced probability” of a Blagojevich self-appointment was politically-nuclear and toxic to The Obama Administration. Moreover, its become very clear via the wiretaps that Rod Blagojevich attempted to leverage (or blackmail) the Obama Administration with same politically-nuclear-Rezko-toxicity under the prevailing logic that the Obama Administration wants to surgically remove itself from All-Things-Rezko.
In this sense, rather than Rod Blagojevich be “rewarded” for shielding the Obama Administraton from All-Things-Rezko-toxicity, U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald appears to be further positioning himself and running interference for the Obama Administration to perhaps procure a “bennie” by shielding Obama Administration from same Rezko-political-toxicity logic (or blackmail). Again, please keep in mind that same interference has been taking place since 2006 when U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald demanded that the Chicago Tribune not publish a report that identified the identity of Federal Informant John Thomas or related Federal Investigation.
And folks…the All-Things-Rezko-political-toxicity is clearly a high-stakes political game of leverage and political toxicity that both Blagojevich and U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald are playing – make no mistake about it!

Further, what is the basis for the delay in Rezko’s sentencing? What is the scope of Rezko’s involvement and/or cooperation with U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald and Federal Authorities?

Fitzgerald is, in fact, positioning himself for a “major bennie” (i.e., FBI Director) or “another consideration” visa vi his handling (or running political interference) in the Blagojevich Retrial – what happens if a previously-agreed upon understanding between Obama Administration and Fitzgerald becomes moot based upon an outcome that fully-exonerates Blagojevich (or another Hung Jury)?
Keep in mind that anything short of a conviction, substantial dilutes U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald’s credibility, and standing as well as leverage.
In the event of a Blagojevich hung jury or exoneration, how does U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald ‘play-his-cards’ as, to date, Fitzgerald maintains a ‘very-strong-hand’ visa vi the sentencing hangovers (and possibilities/implicit threats of future indictments) that Fitzgerald is inherently holding-over the heads of the following parties:
* Daley Family (Richard M. Daley, Patrick Daley, Robert Vanecko, R.J. Vanecko, et al).
* Other Obama supporters and, possibly, Obama himself (Allison Davis, Dr. Eric Whitaker, Marty Nesbitt, et al).
* Rezko investigation collateral damage (Blagojevich, Joe Cari, John Harris, et al).
To this end, the most powerful man in America appears to be U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald – an unaccountable and unelected Federal Bureaucrat since becoming an Assistant United States Attorney in New York City in 1988.”

Well the current field of candidates is either boring, too untested, too far right or has too much baggage. Some might be good VP candidates, but poor choices for the top person. If we don’t find someone good, we’ll say hello to another term for OHB which would be horrible. We need someone experienced and tall because tall men are the ones who win. For Daniels supporters, I’m sorry, but he’s too short. What about Huntsman or Jeb Bush? Colin Powell is a traitor to our cause so he was scratched off my list a long time ago. Jindal is not eligible. Cristie is not interested. Palin hasn’t made her move yet, and while I admire her, she did quit her job which I think will hurt her. Any other thoughts?

Long-time RBO readers dating to the RezkoWatch days may vaguely recall Daniel T. Frawley of Companion Security fame and the plan to fly Iraqi trainees to Illinois to be trained as security guards for a power plant to be built at Chamchamal in Kurdish Iraq.
This was the little scheme dating from sometime in 2005 that involved then-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, then-Senator Barack Obama, then-Illinois Homeland Security advisor Jill Morgenthaler, Obama’s then-personal real estate fairy and political cash bagman Tony Rezko, Rezko’s Chicago pal and personal bail bondsman (and former Iraqi Minister of Electricity) Aiham Alsammarae, and British-Iraqi billionaire businessman (and one of Carter-Ruck’s frequent-flyer clients) Nadhmi Auchi.
Companion Security was co-owned by Frawley and Rezko, who has been awaiting sentencing since convicted in June 2008 (and reportedly continues to “cooperate” with the Feds).
While this is a long and sordid tale — it seems the Feds have never gotten around to completing that December 2006 investigation into the power plant venture. Meanwhile, many of the players and their antics keep surfacing, such as Dan Frawley.
Frawley made the news in an August 2006 convoluted and barely intelligible story involving Forest Park police who were reportedly “cooperating with a federal agency investigating the theft and subsequent return of three guns and over $100,000 in cash from the La Grange home of Sgt. Maureen Frawley,” Dan Frawley’s sister.
Frawley told police that four weeks prior to the incident he had withdrawn the money from New Century Bank in Chicago.
New Century Bank and First Bank in Missouri figure into the bank fraud scheme for which Frawley was arrested in March 2006, according to court documents. Frawley is to be sentenced June 1 based on his February 14 plea agreement. A possible sentence of between 51 and 63 months bears a recommendation of 18 months.
The $50 million Companion Security contract awarded by Alsammarae to Frawley and Rezko was mentioned in Natasha Korecki’s Chicago Sun-Times April 9 article about Frawley’s conviction.
Korecki informs that Frawley “won a deal that will mean a significant cut in his potential sentence because he provided information to authorities regarding Rezko, who was convicted in 2008 and is awaiting sentencing. The cooperation began quietly years ago,” she writes.
As always, there’s a little more to the story. Thanks to a faithful RBO watchdog, we have documents from a separate legal matter, a law suit between plaintiff Frawley and his former attorney, George Weaver. We find some interesting details regarding that “cooperation” in a deposition given by Frawley earlier this year.
Weaver, Frawley alleges, advised him on at least one occasion, on March 13, 2006, not to cooperate with the government, namely the FBI. In a separate allegation, Frawley says Weaver told him to withhold information from the FBI.
Frawley relates the latter occurred during a telephone conversation with Tony Rezko regarding keeping a planned luncheon date while Frawley was in a meeting with the FBI at the Federal Building in Chicago. FBI agents were present when Weaver came into the room and told Frawley to cut off the conversation.
The purpose of the meeting was for Frawley to record his luncheon conversation with Rezko.
Frawley also confirmed in the deposition that the information he was to obtain was “about the payments made by Rezko to Obama.”
Because the deposition was specific to the Frawley-Weaver law suit — namely a possible change of venue requested by Weaver — no further details about the “payments” are included.
The deposition further reveals that the FBI instructed Frawley to not speak with Weaver anymore.
Frawley admitted he had brought charge card records and bank statements to Weaver, among which was a “statement showing payment to Tony Rezko in [the] amount of $1.5 million.” No mention is made as to the source of the funds.
Frawley said that Weaver’s reason was an apparent conflict of interest. Weaver, it seems, was representing others — namely himself and Rezko — on the same matter.
“George was my attorney,” Frawley says. He was “being paid by me, and George was supposed to be representing my interests. And George was representing his own and Tony Rezko’s.”
Additionally, Weaver had possession of all the records Frawley had brought to him. Charles R. Franklin, Frawley’s attorney, said that not only did Weaver have all the records but also he would not release them to Frawley, who could not get them.
Now, there is no question that Daniel T. Frawley is a weasel and an unsympathetic character. These are only excerpts from his deposition. One can only imagine what kind of “cooperation” he has been able to give to the FBI.
The $1.5 million in question is most likely, as RezkoWatch reported three years ago, connected to the Companion Security contract signed April 18, 2005 with then-Iraqi Minister of Electricity Alsammarae. It was alleged by Tony Rezko’s former Rezmar Corporation partner, Daniel Mahru, that Alsammarae was paid a $1.5 million bribe.
According to the court documents, Mahru, who is also incarcerated, is “widely reported to be cooperating with the government with his own legal problems.” He also filed for bankruptcy in December 2008 — yet Rezmar managed to come up with campaign cash for Obama.
As I reported in February 2009, Daniel Mahru’s creditors’ list reads like a who’s who of Tony Rezko’s world, including a former Rezko land deal involving Nadhmi Auchi and another with John Thomas, the developer and FBI mole who helped authorities document the repeated visits of former Governor Blagojevich and former Senator Barack Obama made to the Chicago offices where Rezko and Mahru ran their Rezmar Corp.
No doubt Mahru has a lot to say to the Feds.
Additionally, proposed witness lists provided by Frawley in his law suit with Weaver include the interesting Jeffrey Steinback, who represented the prosecution’s “star witness,” Stuart Levine, during the 2008 Rezko trial.
Perhaps if everyone keeps talking the Feds will get around to investigating that power plant in Iraq contract deal after all — sometime in 2013.

As far as Jon Huntsman is concerned, he was ambassador appointed by Obama to China and also very suspect when it comes to emphasis on green energy. Jeb Bush adamantly refuses to run. The field is narrowing very soon in the season.

Mitch Daniels sort of falls into the DARK horse category. Ron Paul might even beat him, and many of us tend to look upon Ron Paul as we did ROSS PEROT. He is a “THEY’RE COMING TO TAKE ME AWAY” sort of person. Mitch Daniels might be a good choice for VP. I have even heard that Jesse Ventura might try to run for POTUS. Again another dark horse. Herman Cain scored a perceptible win a few weeks back, in the debates, but that does NOT cut him very much credit yet. If he were to do some more debating and use the same stuff he used at the first debate then there is a chance for Cain to get a lot of PR from intelligent use of our language. He is indeed a LONG SHOT. If Allen Keyes would run I personally think that the Conservative US BLACK community would get behind him. But that doesn’t necessarily win an election. Right now it is BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD FOR ME. However there is an open door for the right Democrat to run as well. There are a couple Dems who I don’t necessarily disagree with…..as much as I hate the taste of it. I voted for John Kennedy years ago,because I perceived him as a person who might get something done. SOOOOO……..we shall see.

The Trump situation really scares me because the fact that he dropped out after he is the ONLY one that has brought up the eligibility signals to me that someone got to him.
He never brought up the BC after Obama produced his obviously bogus LFBC yet he had investigators looking into it. I bought Jerome Corsi’s book on Kindle (I have the PC version of Kindle, it’s free) and it’s mostly stuff that we all know already. The only stuff I didn’t know already was about the guy who looked at Obama’s passport records, there were details about him I hadn’t heard.
The book is full of copies of documents, screen prints, etc. to document what he wrote in the book. The way I look at it, he is going on a bunch of interviews on the radio to promote this book and it will be more “out there” all of the stuff that we have been screaming about for the past 2 years.. 🙂

I feel that the rule of law, is that it applies to the ‘little people’ and not to Washington or it’s pals, much like the Constitution. The Constitution, rule of law, honesty, those are all things that applied to the United States of American……..the United Socialist States of America have entirely different descriptors.

We can’t sue Obama, we have no standing.
We need to find a way to sue CNN,ABC,NBC, ET AL, for fraud, in a high profile action, for promoting a Constitutionally ineligible Obama as President, and for “pushing” those images of forged documents, as real documents, and fooling the American people into believing Obama was legitimate. Maybe then congress will be forced to pay attention, and remove Obama.
We truly NEED to do something about the voting fraud before the next election or yours, mine and everyone else’s vote will be cancelled out by illegals, park bench warmers and the names of permanent residents of local cemeteries….not to mention names of those who have moved out of the area and are voting elsewhere too. If they use those voting machine software programs (from Venezuela?) that can be programmed to favor one candidate over another again, we don’t have much of a chance of winning anything. You can bet that the SEIU, ACORN and every other BHO thug supporter will be doing their criminal part to keep this fraud in office.
By the way, what do you think of Judge Roy Moore entering the race for President? See WND for a good article on what Moore’s views are for this country. I love Alan West and wish he would run. Maybe West wouldn’t be so adverse if he was chosen to be Vice Prez.? Moore/West!

I saw the seal as well and tried to point it out before but it’s NOT case closed. This is still just a digital re-creation of a Birth Certificate with an official seal. It’s not the Original and there is no proof the information presented is real. There were rumors of people in Hawaii purposely creating false BC’s the mess with the birther movement. In fact I think the Layered version online was done on purpose just to keep the controversy going. They love the political advantage they get from it. The only case closed would be to have a group of experts examine the REAL document and verify its age and origin. That will never happen.

Palin “quit” her position as Governor because every time she BLINKED, the lefties were suing her in court!!!! (the lefties/progressives are too scared of her! It was the ONLY way they could try to stop her.)
