Citizen Wells letter to citizens of MA, The shot heard round the world, Scott Brown, Big government tyranny, NC and MA common bond, thirteen original colonies, American Revolution, Lives Fortunes and Sacred Honor

To: The citizens of Massachusetts

From: Citizen Wells, citizens of NC and citizens of America.

Massachusetts and North Carolina were 2 of the thirteen original colonies. We share common ancestry, common roots in the formation of this country and common bonds that continue to this day. My ancestors, English, Scots/Irish and German were living in NC prior to the American Revolution. When word of “the shot heard round the world” from Concord, MA reached the good people of NC, they were outraged.

In August 14, 1775, they responded. My ancestor, John Wells, was one of the signers.
The Tryon Resolves
“The unprecedented, barbarous and bloody actions committed by British troops on our American brethren near Boston, on 19th April and 20th of May last, together with the hostile operations and treacherous designs now carrying on, by the tools of ministerial vengeance, for the subjugation of all British America, suggest to us the painful necessity of having recourse to arms in defense of our National freedom and constitutional rights, against all invasions; and at the same time do solemnly engage to take up arms and risk our lives and our fortunes in maintaining the freedom of our country whenever the wisdom and counsel of the Continental Congress or our Provincial Convention shall declare it necessary; and this engagement we will continue in for the preservation of those rights and liberties which the principals of our Constitution and the laws of God, nature and nations have made it our duty to defend. We therefore, the subscribers, freeholders and inhabitants of Tryon County, do here by faithfully unite ourselves under the most solemn ties of religion, honor and love to our county, firmly to resist force by force, and hold sacred till a reconciliation shall take place between Great Britain and America on Constitutional principals, which we most ardently desire, and do firmly agree to hold all such persons as inimical to the liberties of America who shall refuse to sign this association.”
On September 14, 1775 many of the signers formed the Tryon County Militia in preparation for British retaliation against the American colonists.
In the spirit of their Lives, Fortunes and Sacred Honor commitment of our ancestors, we are asking you to once again, fire “the shot heard round the world.” Stand up to big government and send a clear signal that once again we will no longer tolerate tyranny. Vote for Scott Brown.
This exceptional video explains our plea.

Thanks to commenter SueK

  1. Thanks for the hat tip, CW 🙂

  2. Remember this comment before the NJ election?

    Six degrees of separation

“Six degrees of separation is the theory that anyone on the planet can be connected to any other person on the planet through a chain of acquaintances that has no more than five intermediaries. ”

Contact everyone you know, ask them to do the same and contact people in MA. Urge them to vote for Scott Brown. Let them know we are beside them.

  5. I am on my knees right now to ask our Lord to give Scott Brown and his family the courage and strength to win this battle. But…. i’m thinking that God is there! He has sent Scott because he knows that Scott has the strength to overcome the evil that he is faceing. Scott Brown will be beyond all odds the next senator of Massachusetts

  6. “My ancestor, John Wells, was one of the signers.” I am very impressed…and honored you are among us CW. Thanks for posting this and SueK’s vid.

  7. twe.
John & all of the patriots deserve the credit.
I & we reaped the benefits.
It is up to us to retain what they fought for.
However, I did take some comfort in knowing this when I first discovered it.
John & some of my ancestors are buried near the Kings Mtn battlefield.

  8. SueK @ 4:45 pm
I don’t know who did that video but it is perfect.
    Love it.

Majority would vote against Obama today. That was true at least 4 months ago. There is an onslaught of anti-Obama polls, articles etc. right now.

Congratulations to CW and all the bloggers for their influence. There are longer arms at play of course, but the effect of internet communication has been and is outstanding. Keep it up.

  10. citizenwells must be so proud! Rightfully so.
Whow! The only thing I know about my ancestors is my grand father gold mined in Alaska and struck it rich. Owned a lot of land and held onto it for years and years and his children recieved the rewards by selling the land.

  11. SueK-in your video.
Whenever I see the picture of General Washington crossing the Delaware with his men, I am reminded of the sacrifices that were made to give birth to our country. DC currently has no respect for WE THE PEOPLE, the Constitution, our history- the sum total of all the sacrifices of all of our people since the beginning of our country up to and including today.
At some time in school we have all seen the picture of Washington crossing the Delaware.
Washington came up with a bold plan.
On Christmas night, Washington crossed his army over the river under cover of darkness using every boat that could be found. Once all his troops were on the other side he marched them eight miles in snow to Trenton to attack at dawn.
Think about it, these 2,000 men had only seven days left to serve in the Continental army before they could go home. They were crossing the river and marching through brutally cold weather with little or no winter clothing, some with no shoes. They really did leave bloody footprints in the snow. Two of the men froze to death before they got there.

  12. If the Republican’s wildest dreams for the 2010 election came true (as in 1994), they still wouldn’t include a Massachusetts senate seat. That’s something that’s always written off.
The Democrat going for the “Kennedy seat” ought to be up by at least 20 points. For the race to be a virtual tie is unbelievable. I just don’t see how the democrats are going to avoid disaster in the 2010 elections.

  13. Ginger.
One of the things that keeps me going when I am tired or discouraged
is remembering the patriots of the American Revolution.
I think of those soldiers in rags at Valley Forge. People in Philadelphia, a few
miles away were warm and well fed.
I think of the young men fighting World War II, tired, hungry, afraid
with millions of Americans safe back home.
The paltry sacrifices that we make pale in comparison.
We owe those brave Americans more then we will ever be able to repay.

  14. CW 5:41 pm

You’re a very honourable person and you set a great example.

  15. You are too kind.
The only thing I can say in defense of myself is that I do care, just as
    you all do.

  16. Thanx for your comments on the previous post. I have CA and it did pick up the virus but was unable to quarantine it so it restored t he file.

The Post and Email thing is a ISP problem as John indicated. If they fix the quest problem it should work out for others…I will wait and see. I can get to his site it just any page after Jan 6 will not be found. That is the date he went to a different server.

  17. SueK-our local news is on. One of the Lynn University (near by) students that was just found in the Haitian earthquake is from MA. Her father was just on the news-they are on their way to Florida. I think they will link up with their folks in Florida. No more local flights to Haiti, keeping the runway open for the big stuff. It is starting to gel. They are warning on the news be careful with phony charties-the low-life predators are out. Phony web-sites the whole deal.

  18. Greg – kittycat or others not able to get to thepostemail site.
Just know they are working on things they are aware of. If you have not contacted them here’s email again:

I am glad some one posted it early today because John responded:
“Yes, this problem seems to be occuring to all Qwest users…our technicians are working on gettting the firewall compatible with Qwest customers, because we think that is the problem lies…patience. ”
Obviously , they would like viewers to be able to get to their site and are trying to fix issues asap.

The carnage in Haiti is so great that most of the people who are still alive that are trapped under the rubble are going to die. It is beyond man’s ability to be able to rescue most of them in time.

I’ve been praying for these trapped people. My prayer and hearts desire for them is that they will call out to Jesus and that he will comfort them and tell them before they die that, “today you will be with me in Paradise.”

  20. Thanks, truefreedom. I haven’t heard from John yet, but I did write to him. We have Skybeam, so maybe there’s a conflict with them too.

  21. I feel so for those poor people in Haiti. And that’s got to be horrible to be trapped and no one can get to you.

Loved the two vids, Michelle-thanks. I’m so nervous that any inspiration is helpful!

At the end of the vid that CW highlighted it says ‘’ If you type that in your browser, guess where it directs you?

Scott Brown’s web site. It was HIS campaign who must’ve put it together.

BTW, I received the long-awaited Maatha endorsement from my union in the mail. A little slow on the uptake, don’t you think? I’ll be responding……

  23. wow upstate warrior 6:37pm

seems you are thinking like CW and others who are reflecting back to what those involved in The Revolution, and so many other times in history with some ordinary people who did unthinkable things and fought thru unimaginable situations. It seems to me, the really great people do not think of themselves, they do not think of what’s in it for me right now……they think ahead, they think of others, they think more of what is to come and maybe of eternity.
I am changing up my prayers, I had been praying for those in Haiti (and there families) to have peace in their hearts and their pain to be lifted, but I’d forgotten about their eternal choice, that they might not have settled that.
    thank you for your post.

  24. Hey Michelle and Upstate Warrior,

Yes, I heard that she was found. Wonderful news in light of the near total destruction of Port-Au-Prince and the surrounding areas.

I’m sticking with known charities for contributions: The Salvation Army (a favorite), the Red Cross, and Doctors Without Borders. Unfortunately, there are many scams out there, so it’s best to stick with the organizations you know. Donate to your local chapter, if you can.

  25. JD // January 14, 2010 at 5:30 pm

    Hi JD,

I’m looking at it this way: If this race is a dead heat in MA (‘Hackarama Central’), it’ll be *very* interesting to see what ‘normal’ states do in November.

It shouldn’t be this close, here. It’ll be closer than the pundits are predicting and I’m looking for an upset. I’ve never seen people so pumped up about an election, because MA elections are ho-hum; everyone already knows that the Dem candidate will win. Except when Mitt took the Governorship (I chucked for a few weeks just watching them with their jaws hanging down to their knees).

It can happen here and it WILL happen here!

  26. One more thing, them I’ll stop hogging the blog.

There are an extraordinary number of absentee ballots being requested in city and town halls for this election. People know this one’s important.

I’m thinking that this favors Scott and that people wanna make *sure* their vote for him is recorded.

Like Maatha, I think that her supporters are too bloody lazy to get to theit town hall and pick one up. That’s just the sense I’m getting.

  27. SueK
This is the girl from MA- Brittany Gangel (spelling) from near Boston she was trapped but has been found. They still have 4 people missing from Lynn University-3 professors, 1 student.
With only one runway-much need materials are slow to get in. Presidents Bush and Clinton are on their way to help. They are waiting for ships with troops, helicopters, emergency rooms-capable of making drinking water. Many many countries are sending every kind of aid that you can imagine. I wonder how they did the Berlin Airlift? No infrastructure little that existed is gone. Haitians trying to get into the Dominican Republic but they can only take the most severely wounded. With all these foreign nations working together to save lives, could this help the peace process?
All the reporters look very sun-burned.

  28. SueK @ 6:53 pm
Duh how could you think without your Union helping you? How were Americans able to think before THE ONE helped us.

  29. SueK-we Chicagoans have always loved Salvation Army. Don’t forget the churches and synagogues will have a special collection over the weekend.

  30. Well, I guess from now on we’re going to have to learn a different way of spelling things. Someone on Fox Forum said that they spelled the word “black” like “bblack” because it’s on their blacklist. Then the word “muslim” they spelled like Mu$lim because you can’t spell the word “Muslim” correctly.

So maybe we need to start our own vocabulary and make up a different language. This is so stupid. That PC stuff is nothing but mind control. They are true idiots.

  31. truthbetold11

The SHOT HEARD ROUND THE STATE. I asked the governor deval patrick that question 2 months ago. When will we see the stimulus shot heard round the state. He tried to do his best but couldnt answer it. Go Scott! A true Patriot!

  32. Delray Beach has a large Haitian community-this will give you an idea of what Haiti could look like. With the help of the world now in their hour of need, Haiti will rebuild. This should be the garden spot of the world and a vacation resort-soon God willing Haiti will be restored to greatness.

  33. truthbetold11

absentee ballots could be alot of fraud

  34. To all involved in trying to help kittycat77 and, here’s a bit of a mystery to add to the story. I’m having no problem getting on their site, and I use Qwest. Go figure.

Kittycat77 – oldsalt has a good idea. Try doing searches (I don’t recomment Google), or try just typing the address in your browser.

Did you ever have their previous wordpress address bookmarked? I’m just wondering if your computer is remembering when it was postnemail on wordpress before it became

Just more thoughts to see if we can get this figured out…

  35. CitizenWells – Love the Article – I have been watching the Scott Brown news constantly. I hope Massachusetts takes the stand all of America needs now!

One other thing – Jeffersons Rebels put up my last article and they have a great graphic to go with it. It goes right to the main question you’ve been asking for a few weeks.

I’ll probably hang around here for an hour or so.

Take care Descendent of John Wells.

  36. CW, That video is inspiring!
What can you tell us about the statue?
    Thank you

  37. My local newspaper had this statistic about Haiti:

Roughly half of the population practices voodoo.

Let’s pray they will turn to the true God. God is a jealous God.

  38. About Future Voting!!!!!!!!

I think it wise for those of us who have not before, to:

***make a list of the topics/issues we hold important to making our decision on whom to vote for.

***Then at the beginning of campaign season we email EACH candidates campaign and ask for a response as to where does that candidate stand on those issues.

In my local school board election they would not list “party” and each candidate put forth a statement, but they were so varied – who wrote about their family and education, or jobs they held, and some about what they wanted to do about schools……THEY DID NOT state how they felt about health care or abortion or other topics.

many of these folks, are the people to go on and run for state positions and some times national.

we (country) would do better, to know their stance on things from the beginning and be sure to vote in all elections possible. It’s something I am going to reccommend to everyone I know.

  39. Did you hear that Sen. Nelson was booed out of a pizza parlor near his home? Priceless! Zach

  40. It would great if John McCormack files suit against Coakley’s aid on say Monday morning so it would be in the news all day. Does anyone know John McCormack?

I’m going to the scott brown’s head quarters in worcester tomorrow. Ive never been involved in politics but time to get off the sidelines. As a Cable sales rep ive been to over 8,000 homes face to face in ten years in central mass. Not to mention the apt buildings numbers in the 30’s. Pray that i can get a message out. i work next to the director of programming and he knows i support scott brown. and he favors the dem’s but likes me.

I too have lived a long enough life that I have seen a lot of changes in our country. But.. our hero’s that founded our country their legacy must never be forgotten. Two of my hero’s is my brothers who had to fight in the Vietnam war at the same time.

Every time that I see one of our hero’s I tell tell them how much I loved them.

  45. from PUMA PAC….about Obama’s campaign

In addition to the $259 million with undisclosed donors, studies of the reports filed with the FEC, by the Obama Campaign, through the 2008 Year End Report, show the following irregularities in their submissions:

    • $1.8 million — Contributions over the $4,600 limit (1,608 contributors)

    • $26 million — Contributions over the $2,300 per campaign limit, reallocated without contributor affirmation.

    • $4 million — Contributors with Foreign Addresses (4,158 contributors)

Details have been submitted to the FEC as complaint MUR6142 and are posted at:

And while holding these funds, the campaign reports year end cash on hand of $15.5 million. Is the Obama Campaign spending money that is not legally theirs?

A total of over 2.5 million donor transactions were submitted to the FEC, with some donors having hundreds of transactions. Many records showed errors on city, state and zip code information and a single donor could have several name variations. Database analysis shows that fewer than 710,543 unique donors have been reported,
while the campaign is claiming 2-3 million.

Some of the records were flagrant trash like JFGGJJFGJ, JGTJ and KHV, KHV and HKVKV, KVKN K V and HDUSAHFD, DAHSUDHU. Numerous donors had a single letter given for their last name. Others were listed as Anonymous. Our personal favorite was the contributor Doodad Pro, whose occupation was “Loving” and employer was “You”. The records show 1565 transactions for him, with a net contribution of $305.

  46. Obama’s campaign donations, Part II…

Fully 34% of the donations received by the Obama Campaign were from Mystery Donors. That’s more than a THIRD OF THE TOTAL raised. By comparison, less than 3% of donations to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and John McCain’s campaign came from unverifiable sources. Three quarters of a billion dollars was spent on the Election Campaign of Barack Obama. More than a year after the election and the Obama Presidential Campaign has accounted for less than half a billion in contributions. There are currently $259 million in campaign contributions listed as “Unitemized Donors.” There have been 41 revisions made by the Obama campaign to the 19 campaign finance reports due to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). All of the campaign finance reports filed with the FEC during the election have been revised, some multiple times, and they still fail to give an accurate accounting, showing obvious discrepancies and a lack of compliance to campaign funding regulations, such as:
Duplicate records, multiple variations in contributor names and addresses, mixed contributor categories, negative contributions and millions in over-limit donations remain listed in the FEC records. Who will demand accountability?

  47. CW, GREAT article and vid.

  48. Swan60,
Yes, Voodoo is common in Haiti, but there
is also the Catholic Church and other Christian
    churches as well.
Did you happen to see the destruction of the
Cathedral in Port-au-Prince, yet the cross
with Jesus looked completely intact amidst
the rubble. That was a wonderful sight!

  49. Zach-loved your article re: Obama eligibility-From one to a million wrongs committed by the Dems does not make right. Since they have never been called on Nancy’s certifications they feel emboldened to play with the Constitituion anyway they want. The Republicans should be screaming bloody murder. Obama is a coward, they are gutless-hence the non-political party, called the Tea Party. They are bigger than either by far, so logically that can call the Constitutional shots. Look at the growth in 6-9 months approx.
“Sen. Nelson was booed out of a pizza parlor” I think that you are going to see a lot more of this throughout our nation. The people are disgusted by the antics of some of these public servants.

  50. A group of Columbus firemen are going to Haiti

group that went after 9/11 and after Katrina.

  54. Thanks Zach.

  55. An open letter to the good folks of Massachusetts (Unlike the Coakley ad I spelled it right)

In a few days you will be called upon to make a decision almost as important for our country as the Battle of Bunker Hill. I was born in Putnam,Connecticut and will always remember those immortal words “Don’t fire until you see the white’s of their eyes.” This line has been contributed to both Israel Putnam and William Prescott. These words and battle brought fame to Massachusetts as the birthplace of the American Revolution. I pray that the God Fearing GOOD and HONORABLE FOLKS of both national parties will come to the aid of their country and vote Scott Brown . This country is in dire straits and needs someone with integrity, honesty and IS serving his country militarily. Remember Scott’s words when Gergen asked about his trying to take back a Senate seat belonging to the late Ted Kennedy – “THIS SEAT BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE OF MASSACHUSETTS!”

  56. Thank you Michelle! I agree 100% with you Maddie!

  57. Zach @ 8:05.
When I read the article re: Martha-representing DNC/Lobbyists/Herself/the Obama company line v/s Scott Brown running to represent the people of MA-It’s the Peoples Seat. Looks to me Martha does not realize she is supposed to running to represent the people of MA-Scott who is with/by and for the people has the clearer understanding of the job and will do a much better job for the people of MA.

  61. JJ – The video makes me want to vote for him!

  62. I recall when the donation fraud was first exposed and discussed, the general concensus was that by the time the investigation was finished-Steve would be nearly finished with his first term!
The wheels on the bus go round and round.
Oops, I mean, the wheels of justice turn as The World Turns….ugh nevermind!

  63. Zach @ 8:32 the biggest enemy now is complacency and/or thinking that it’s in the bag. Everyone that can get to the polling places and bring a friend or two or more needs to exercise their rights and vote (for Scott Brown) rumor has it that he is a registered Republican, involved in a Republican conspiracy and he brags about it. Take it from a Democrat in suffrage, don’t let this opportunity slip away.
The nation is with MA in spirit, I read somewhere most of the nation is Martha who, but everyone knows Scott Brown-so what’s not to love?

Tell them what I read the grandmother in the hospital told her son why she wanted an absentee ballot to vote for Brown…….the dems in the old days were for the working man and now they’re for the man not working!!

  66. I agree Michelle. The other side is going to pull out all the stops. Scott Brown needs to win by at least 5% to make up for the cheating. ACORN & SEIU. It was cool that the police unions went with Brown. They know something about AG Coakley! Stay 110% involved. Zach

  67. Zach @ 8:32 I see how the man arrives at his figures. He looked at what the average person is doing and extrapolating data. Somewhat like one Wall Street type reads the economy by how many trucks, rail freight are moving across the country. Still never be complacent-from the Chicago Cubs who always lose, but with dignity. It ain’t over til its over.

  68. JJ – I couldn’t have said it better!…..”the dems in the old days were for the working man and now they’re for the man not working!!”

  69. JJ

Can you imagine they did not have a cell phone or I pod to call for help. They did not have the comforts we have now. We should never for get our hero’s from way back to the American Revolution to our hero’s of the wars now. God loves all of our hero’s and and is taking care of our fallen hero’s. We shall never forget them.

  70. Deal is reached exempting unions and government workers from health care tax.

  71. I have this wonderful feeling that the people in MA is going to send Barry/Steve a very stong message that they were raised a free citizen and they want no part of him and his morons turning our wonderful country into a socialist country. They are being quiet when polled. A lot of them will probly hold their nose but pull that lever for Scott Brown to save our country knowing they will have a chance to even vote again.

    God Bless America

  72. I can’t find the article again, but heard Red State is reporting the HOUSE is expending money on Coakley.

  73. We can’t keep going with this Barry/Steve thing. How about Stevoma? The Beve? Open to suggestions here.

In my neck of the woods, you pay, leave the food, leave the bldg……… words needed and it is the ultimate insult!!!

  77. Zach-I got curious because on the 8:32 report it was twitter, facebook etc. but that would be a demographic situation. To me it’s faster if you want to talk to somebody just pick-up the phone, but kids seem to like it (secret life from the parents-right under their noses perhaps)
I just tested some methodology re: google
Scott Brown for Senate 4,570,000 hits
Martha Coakley for Senate 485,000 hits

  78. Prairie – Thanks Okay – I’m off – See you all tomorrow. Zach

  79. Here’s the sign I love the most!

I wonder if an ad in the little paper published on the South Side of Chicago would be helpful? Reward $100.00 for the most aliases used by Obama which can be verified.
    You can remain anonymous.
Little paper in Chicago means it’s a small local paper just with neighborhood information.

In my hours now, as I’m almost 60, I can only imagine what the sacrifices were; and I pray for patience for this generation and the next for I would have never given the fallen heroes a second thought until I matured amd gained the significance of the importance.

How odd that I just read about the technology created by ??sp?? Tesla….and it was simply a pocket-sized remote that caused a brick bldg. to shake in just seconds and reported that the remote could have taken down the Brooklyn bridge in a few minutes…….

A guy called in this morning, saying that his 67 year-old Mom, a lifelong Dem, was in the ICU but wanted him to pick up an absentee ballot and bring it to the hospital. Her son asked why, and she said that she had to vote for Scott-that it was important. The son was stunned that she wasn’t voting for the Dem and she said: ‘Back in the day, the Dems were for the working man; now, they’re for the man not working.’

    Hi TBT,

News from the region to your east.

I got a call about an hour ago: ‘Hi Sue, this is Scott Brown.’ I nearly had a coronary. It was a recording, but it was a great message! Got a mailing today, too.

I needed another filter, so a different HVAC guy came tonight; turns out he’s the Dad of the guy who came on Monday. All on board for Scott!

Also got my two pals from greater Boston; he’s a firefighter, she’s a teacher. So much for the unions, huh?

Dunno about you, but *no one* I’ve talked to is voting for Maatha. May be her stronghold is Boston/Cambridge but so far, no takers.

    Continuing my ‘campaigning.’

  118. Don in California,

Israel’s Chief Rabbis Issue National Letter Against Abortion
    By Matthew Cullinan Hoffman
JERUSALEM, January 5, 2009 ( – Israel’s two chief rabbis have stepped up a campaign against abortion they began two years ago, sending a letter to all rabbis on the government payroll that claims the deadly practice is delaying the coming of the messiah, according to Israeli news sources.
Rabbis Shlomo Amar and Yona Metzger state in their letter that abortion in Israel is “a real epidemic, as tens of thousands of Jewish souls are being lost each year … In addition to the enormity of the transgression, it is also delaying redemption.”
The rabbis base their claim on a passage of the Talmud, a multi-volume work of traditional teachings and legal rulings, which states, “The redemption does not take place until all the souls are brought out of their storing place.”
The letter states as well that “the vast majority of abortions are unnecessary, and Halacha (Jewish religious law) severely prohibits them.”

I sense that you’re here with us in Taxachusetts but if not, your support for the cause has been terrific (as it has been with all CWers!).

This woman is delusional. What Scott actually said was that if hospital workers’ religion forbade them to perform procedures such as abortion, they should not be forced to perform those procedures under the threat of termination from their jobs.

Nothing at all wrong with that!

Maybe Maatha should go to church…

  138. Maddie @ 10:22 pm
I think Obama is the kiss of death on any campaign. His handlers have no idea how un-popular he really is. Do they not know how to read polls? and yet Obama like Martha-do everything they can to try to enact legislation that WE THE PEOPLE hate and have told them on numerous occasions. The people are tired of talking to the deaf and dumb-action will be coming sooner than later.

  142. SueK, I’m actually in Oregon, but have been watching this election closely and supporting Brown. I’ve had reservations, but also know we’re talking about MA and a seat that was held by Kennedy forever. I also realize the importance of defeating this fascist bill at the moment.

No offense, Michelle, but they’re called moonbat Democrat women.

  156. Regarding the new bank taxes, which ultimately will be a tax on people like us who have bank accounts.

The banks have paid back almost all of the TARP funds, if I understand Valerie Jarrett’s remarks correctly this morning….What was written into the TARP bill is that they (the banks) are on the hook for the entire amount collectively (the law conveniently written into the bill). Unfortunately a ton of that money went to bailing out GM, Chrysler and GMAC as well. But they aren’t requiring GM or Chrysler to pay it back and they are essentially forcing the banks to pay GM’s money back. This is essentially an enormous influx of cash into the pockets of the nearly defunct pension funds of the unions that work for these companies.

For those able to think critically (it is tough for leftists), what these taxes are is a re-distribution of money from the banks (which will ultimately be passed on to us) into GM and Chrysler to prop up the union debts, by forgiving the TARP funds, that those companies owe. Companies that are now owned by the government and the unions.

Think about it, this is one of the most crooked things that our federal government has EVER done. How are the Democrats paid back? Union organizing and funds to prop up candidates with OUR money. It is a giant ruse and disgusting. This has been a union takeover of the automobile industry and ultimately the entire country. Why force the banks to pay off GM’s debt? This is completely about corporate wealth re-distribution to prop up GM and Chrysler to make their shoddy business model with the unions seem sustainable. GM and Chrysler are, in fact, unsustainable. It will be smoke and mirrors in the future when they tell us that GM and Chrysler are back on their feet again.

How many more special favors can the unions get? Why does a union member deserve a tax exemption on their health insurance when I don’t? Why does a union’s pension get propped up by the government when my 401k doesn’t get squat? When will people realize that this is a giant power grab of the entire economy and using public dollars to re-elect Democrats? As major dollars will be recycled in the ACORN model for elections. This is our money, not the unions.

Animal Farm. Four legs good, two legs bad. But some are better than others. This is not America.

  173. Exactly right Michelle. The way that Jarrett was explaining the “law” that was written into the TARP funding and repayment being the responsibility of the banks…and leaving out GM and Chrysler was so smooth. When in fact, if one thinks critically, it is all about replenishing the union’s pension funds and keeping that unviable model afloat.

Who cares about Maatha..there’s a company called Eastern Cement Block and Flag-they’re south of Boston, I think-and I’ll get the biggest flag they have!

Finally, a chance to vote on President Obama’s performance with regard to the Economy, and where he is taking our nation. … AT&T/Yahoo Poll… This totally non-partisan poll asks but one question. The question is stated very simply… and, to the point. No tricks. No hidden messages. JUST ONE SINGLE, SIMPLE QUESTION. I don’t know why this hasn’t been done before…

I’m impressed with the fact that the question is NOT “phrased” in a way that it can be interpreted or misrepresented later… to fit someone else’s desired answer.

NOTE: After you vote, you will see a second page that shows the running total and what these voters opinions are.

  179. Chris Mathews called Alex Jones and wants to be on his radio show!!!!!! What a shocker!!!
Looks like it will happen next week!!!!
ck on Alex web site post soon????

  180. SueK–the signs were on the way to and from there. I don’t think I saw any actual signs there. This was along the way.

Thank you for your prayers for Wilbur (and all the Haitian community). I really feel for his sister and all the family.

  181. SueK, I hope you’re right. Oregon isn’t just a blue or Dem state tho. It’s a radical leftist state. Especially up North. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why I’m as right as I am, because I’ve seen for far more years than most the rest of the country what it is about. Obama made his most radical statements while visiting Portland, because he knew it would be well received.

My opinion of the left in this country has not been positive for a very very long time. Elitist, snobby, preachy, holier than thou thugs who find every justifiable reason in the world to take hard working people’s money, snuff babies out, use every imaginable straw man under the sun(environment, social justice, fairness etc.) to tell others how to live their lives right down to the food they eat.

I truly hope with all my heart, that if there’s one positive thing people will see as a result of O, is the TRUTH of the total devistation of this mindset. I hope it’s enough to turn this country around.

  182. twe // January 14, 2010 at 11:52 pm

Oh, OK, twe…I didn’t think the Scott signs could possibly all be in that location.

I try to adjust my route to work so that I can check different areas. Other than the one Maatha sign off to the side of the road in the snow and dirt, I haven’t seen another; that one has curiously disappeared (no, I didn’t destroy it!).

Prayers for Wilbur and all of Haiti in about 15 minutes.

  183. G’night SueK….G’night Kritters!!!

  184. Comment seen elsewhere on our Pal Sarah Palin:

    3:44PM Jan 14 2010
Palin a quitter? ROFL She is in an attack mode and has all the media and Demicommies cowering and resorting to smear campaigns. She has brilliantly outflanked the Marxist media and Communists by conveying her political message of hope via her book and personal meetings nationwide. She is snowballing her popularity using the false notoriety the liberals are spewing about her and her family. The Demicommies have awakened a lioness into an attack mode and realize that she will influence the 2010 elections greatly, hence the full scale smear attack against a 100% American outstanding WOMAN- Palin 2012

  185. DaBig

Good idea, but you can multiple vote on the poll. makes it not very reliable. I voted 5 times and the total votes jumped about 20 numbers during that minute or two……..

  186. DABIG // January 14, 2010 at 11:39 pm

Finally, a chance to vote on President Obama’s performance with regard to the Economy, and where he is taking our nation. … AT&T/Yahoo Poll…
DABIG, I noticed that there were very close to 53 million votes (52,98x,xxx) when I voted. And the breakdowns:

Extremely well. We are undoubtedly moving in the right direction. 36%
Fairly well. There’s still a long way to go. 1%
Not well at all. His plans are hurting more than helping. 63%
    Not sure/No opinion. 0%

Suffolk University poll: Scott Brown up by 4

A Suffolk University poll released Thursday evening shows Republican Scott Brown four points ahead of Democrat Martha Coakley as he continues his improbable surge in the Massachusetts Senate special election.

The poll reports Brown is leading Coakley, 50 to 46 percent, just within the margin of error. Independent candidate Joe Kennedy received 3 percent.

Suffolk pollster David Paleologos told the Boston Herald even he was surprised by the poll’s results, noting that their models show a likely high turnout of independent voters next Tuesday, which is likely to benefit Brown. The results also showed Brown leading in all the state’s regions except Suffolk County.

  193. Secession Movement Grows in Vermont

Nine candidates for office in Vermont will run on a platform of breaking with the United States.

The pro-secession candidates are planning to run for governor, lieutenant governor, and seven seats in the state Senate, the Associated Press reported. They are aligning themselves under a slate called Vermont Independence Day.

Among the candidates for lieutenant governor is a 54-year-old car salesman named Peter Garritano, who says he wants to give Vermont a fresh start with a “real democracy.”

  194. DO You Smoke?
New product saves you money, health and hassels, this may be for you.

  195. I wonder if Prez Steve will visit Boston and help Coakley BOW-OUT in the Erosionist Lieberal Mecca?

  196. That Sodahead photo is priceless:

Hey Prez Steve, AKA The Bastard Child of yet unknown legal name or roots, it’s ok to sink the Gangster Motors truck with all your czars and neo-commies inside BUT why do you have to also drag down our perfectly good Ship of State ? LMAO The Comedy of Horrors Presidency.

  197. UPDATE FRIDAY, 01.14.10: A just issued Suffolk University poll now puts MA State Senator Scott Brown at 50% v. 47% for MA AG Martha Coakley in their bid to become the next U.S. Senator from the Bay State. The margin of error is + or – 4.38%. (Note: check out the cross tabs. You will see, this poll groups Independents together with Unenrolled’s, producing a far more accurate prediction as to how independent minded voters, both registered Independents and registered Unenrolled’s, will vote. This contrasts with previous polls mentioned below, which find Ms. Coakley besting Mr. Brown by separating Independents from Unenrolled’s and then excluding the voting preferences of these Unenrolled’s from the totals.)

If you had only accessed the Boston Herald for their report of this Suffolk University poll, you could have ended up as confused as the reporter, Jessica Van Sack. She writes, “Unenrolled long-shot Joseph L. Kennedy, an information technology executive with no relation to the famous family, gets 3 percent of the vote. Only 1 percent of voters were undecided.” See what she did? She called Joe Kennedy the “Unenrolled” candidate. He is not. Joe Kennedy, while often referred to in the press as an Independent Libertarian, is listed on the MA ballot as representing the Liberty Party.
(Just to confuse you even more, when the Suffolk University poll asks voters for which candidate they intend to vote, it correctly refers to Mr. Kennedy as the Liberty candidate. But when it asks voters for favorability ratings, it calls him the Independent candidate.)

Contrary to the designation ascribed to Mr. Kennedy in the Boston Herald report on this just-released poll, there is no Unenrolled Party. In Massachusetts, there is only a category of registered voters not aligned with any party; these voters are registered Unenrolled. Yes, Unenrolled voters tend to be independent minded; but this does not make them members of either the Liberty Party or the Independent Party.

Read the Suffolk University summary. They got it right, even if the Boston Herald did not.

In order to limit the hacking and headaches, I am removing the comments function on this site. Any important comments can be sent to me through e-mail If our law enforcement did their job, I wouldn’t have to go through such nightmare. Please contact the Public Integrity Unit of the criminal division of the department of Justice and report all of the governmental officials, who are derelict in their duties, you can also report government attorneys to the CA bar. This battle should have been fought by the law enforcement and judiciary, it should not be on the shoulders of one mother of three, working pro bono. Some people will have to be held accountable for their indifference, laziness and corruption.

If I go to your home page at I get this Notice the date in the header is correct but all stories are no later than Jan 6. So your header seems to be on a separate server.

Feel free to email me with any questions. And maybe kittycat can click on the above links and verify if she gets the same results.

    Hi, Greg:

I click on those links and get “server not found” message.

Sometimes if I try to go to John’s website, I get a DNS message. And we flushed the DNS like Riggler (sp?) said and doesn’t do anything.

  224. I owm the blog, Jefferson’s Rebels, and recently reprinted Zach Jones’ article “Obama’s Presidential Eligibility Scandal?” and accompanied it with a graphic image.

Both the image and the article are currently being censored by Google. Zack and others may want to see the article I published yesterday about this censorship. It is posted in full on my blog, of course, and also as a diary entry on

As I write, a lot of traffic is coming to the website, specifically to this article, so one way or the other, we’re bringing attention to Google’s political bias while simultaneously alerting a growing circle of people about the Article 2, Sec. 1 issue.
