We cannot allow this health care to do us in and that is the motive. We cannot allow the Copehagen treaty to be signed in Dec. because it will irradicate our Constitution. Yes, I have seen the pink slip campaign on wnd.com, however the GOP seems to show no awareness of anything. The democrat party is lost to the Mao-ists, so it seems to me that the GOP is the only viable option, but it seems to only want to run the same old RINO candidates, and the party elders such as Newt endorse obviously leftist republicans, such as the lady in New York.
I want to purge congress as well, but I don’t have any idea who to replace them with aside from Marco Rubio whom I intend to support for the senate here in Florida.

am coming up with the same dead up that the P.I. did. As OldSalt77 says, we are still looking if SS payouts to this SSN were made about 1955 or further. Several of us have tried to find
this SSN in the SS dead peoples index and it was not listed. (there are reasons that not all dead people who had SSNs are listed, however, it sure isn’t helpful for the researcher).

Judge Land’s ruling to sanction Attorney Taitz was written clearly enough that a lay person could understand what she did to disrupt the operation of the federal court.
No matter what your opinion of the motivation underlying this conduct, there is no question 1) she made incendiary charges against the integrity of the federal court in general and the Judge, in particular, during an active case; 2) she submitted pleadings that violated the federal rules of civil procedure, ignoring numerous warnings from the bench to comport her work product to the rules; and 3) she demonstrated a palpable contempt for the court, the judge, and the rules, both inside the court and in the general public.
People paying $20,000 for her temper tantrums are assured her misbehavior will be repeated. How much money has she cost us taxpayers by tying up the resources of the court with these frivolous filings, resources I would rather were allocated to existing programs such as legal services attorneys for indigent criminal Defendants; or pro se clinics for Plaintiffs with worthy causes of action who cannot even afford to hire an attorney to draft the Complaint.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — A private security guard at Newark Liberty International Airport was arrested on charges of threatening Barack Obama the night before the president was to fly there.
A Continental Airlines employee reported overhearing John Brek make threatening comments at an airport coffee cart Tuesday afternoon.
The 55-year-old security guard was arrested several hours later, Port Authority spokesman John Kelly said. He denied making the threats, said Malcolm Wiley, a spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service.
Obama came to New Jersey on Wednesday to campaign for New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine.
Brek allowed police to search his Linden home and officers found 43 firearms, Kelly said. The firearms were still being processed, but no illegal guns had been found.
A message left by The Associated Press at Brek’s home Wednesday was not immediately returned. His father, John, told The Star-Ledger of Newark that his son has the guns because he’s an avid hunter.
Air Force One landed at the Newark airport shortly before 5 p.m. under tight security. Dozens of Secret Service and Port Authority police officers were visible, and sharpshooters were positioned on roofs of nearby buildings.
“We take every threat very seriously,” Wiley said. “We don’t have the luxury of ignoring even the allegation of a threat.”
Brek is employed by Floral Park, N.Y.-based FJC Security Services Inc., which has a contract with the Port Authority. Its employees screen airport workers to ensure they have proper credentials, Kelly said.
Brek was arrested by Port Authority Police and charged under state law with making terroristic threats against the president. He has not been arrested on federal charges, Wiley said.
Bail has been set at $100,000 for Brek, who faces five years in prison for the third-degree felony charge, according to Essex County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Paul Loriquet. He said Brek is being held in the Essex County jail and is to be arraigned Thursday.
Patrick J. Conroy, executive vice president of FJC, said the company is working with authorities investigating the alleged threat. Brek has been assigned to the Newark airport for the majority of his six years with the company, Conroy said.

Leo was released on his on recognizance. The preliminary hearing was not held. He did present his habeas corpus writ but it wasn’t clear if that was why he was released.
Leo thinks the DA is trying to avoid a preliminary hearing.
Leo is going to lay low for awhile. Who could blame him?

No. She is ‘bread and circus.’ I drafted the first military complaint to gain standing in federal court, in response to the several infirm cases I watched being filed in both state and federal court, particularly cases based in mandamus. I said, it was a ‘win-win’ case. That is, the only way the court would reject the legal strategy I was proposing to get to the heart of BO’s eligibility; would be in response to a Motion to Dismiss from BO, arguing lack of standing. I said at that time – remember, this was in November/December 2008 – if BO told a federal court that a soldier facing deployment had no right to know whether he was a NBC because the soldier lacked standing to file suit, think of what that would sound like to the public!
But Orly changed her mind about filing the case I envisioned; and meanwhile, Berg filed a ‘military complaint’ that was a variation of my proposal; and then Orly began filing several other cases, all of which were tossed for lack of standing and jurisdiction. The element of success that at one time existed in the case I had proposed was now lost.
Orly’s fame is good for monetary contributions; she is not changing any minds as to BO’s eligibility.
This was always a foolish pursuit. The issue has always been election fraud, and not BO. People have spent all this time chasing their tails, egged on by practitioners who promise with each new endeavor, ‘this is the golden fleece,’ or some such nonsense.
Stop examining whether BO is eligible. Examine, instead, how Nancy Pelosi could have ascertained he was eligible, when she signed those Certifications of Nomination. And if you don’t already know whether your state laws require the candidate on the ballot to be eligible for the job, look it up!
All this work wasted on the ‘show’ could have been consolidated to demanding that our state officials make the private clubs called major political parties, play by the rules, if they want to use our government resources to participate in the election process.
Put simply, if you want to use our ballot, you have to play by our rules.

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.
In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.
We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.
We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.
In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.
Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.
Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?
Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?
And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?
All these things are within reach now!

I don’t know their names but here are some things you might look for-gambling, drinking, drugs and girl friends, businss and over spending problems-in some case big time. I’m from there and this is how the guys in general get into trouble. I was born in Chicago, but raised in Bensenville just outside O’Hare. Things got so bad in that police department the entire department was fired for corruption-I think the FBI had to take over operations for awhile. 2 officers were rehired since they were able to prove they were not part of the criminal element in the department. I think Cook County Jail, and the prison system could be very important sources of information. The prison grapevine is very knowledgeable, plus they have a bad attitude regarding people like Obama, Pelosi, Reid that are committing crimes far worse than they ever did and they are out and these guys are sitting in the slammer. Just because they are incarcerated does not mean that they are not loyal Americans.
From listening on blogtalk radio, I think Kerchner and Apuzzo either may be missing something here or they’re aware but don’t want to discuss.
Their court dismissed Kerchner right after the the two Orly cases provided avenues to get Obama to account in a way which would not throw the courts and nation into a constitutional nightmare. (And anyway, depending on how the Orly cases go, they may dovetail later for use in Kerchner’s appeal.)

The only way we’re ever going to get a court or a Judge to agree to hear one of these cases is to make a million man ‘armed’ march and DEMAND they hear the case.
Until we all unite, and make this move, not one Judge in the country is going to touch one of these eligibility cases with a ten foot pole.

jbjd-Is trying to go the legal and lawful way. I know that state Attorney Generals can be very effective. Years ago in Illinois, the real estate market was very cold, and they it got very hot. Lots of sales, the buyers, sellers, banks, real estate agencies, parents etc. ran into a huge problem. FLOAT. It had been 3 days in Illinois, but some of the banks decided to play games, so float became 3 days to a month, to whenever they felt like it. People were on top on one another. Had to rent storage facilities for furniture, stay with parents, in general it became an unholy mess very fast-expensive too. People all people started screaming to the Attorney Generals office, and they came throught loud and clear. When the dust settled float in Illinois was 3 days-really, truly, honestly, legally. All the messed up back logs were cleared shortly thereafter.

Yes, I am advocating the legal way; but only because 1) state laws were broken in the process of getting BO’s name on the ballot; and 2) we are already paying for state officials to do jobs we elected them to do, jobs created by laws we passed, and we should get what we are paying for.
No laws were broken by not vetting BO for Constitutional eligibility for POTUS. None. Because no provision of any law, federal or state, or the U.S. Constitution, requires any government official to check.
Instead of quoting scripture when I point to the train wreck created by these snake oil salespeople; perhaps preachers on this blog could work on strengthening their state laws so as to prevent ineligible candidates from appearing on their ballots in the future; or to instruct the EC to vet the candidates; or to require Congress to ratify the EC vote only when the eligibility of the winner of their vote, has been definitely established.

I just know from experience in Illinois that our Attorney General at that time solved a horrendous problem very quickly. I don’t know if the person was that good, or the people were screaming that loud. As far as I know Attorney Generals do their jobs. I would hate to see protests becoming violent, for this reason-once it starts there is no going back. I was one of the few people to see the results of the rioting in Chicago when the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered-I know for a fact what I saw. The only vehicles on the road other than us were military-the whole 30-40 miles from suburbs to city of Chicago. Very educational in a horrible kind of way. The riots lasted 3 days-Mayor Daley initiated his usual dawn to dusk curfews. No biggie he did it all the time-much like your own father with his parental rules.

God loves America and is more than willing to help America. In fact, he has been helping America for the longest time by forestalling his judgments upon America. Many, if not most Americans however, do not want God in their lives, even though they may say that they do.
Americans as a whole have been more interested in doing what they want, in accordance to their own will and have not been putting God and his will for them first in their lives.

It’s bad enough election law has been broken for over 100 years. Now we’re seeing a large decay in the judicial system as evident in the existing cases at large. Anyone should be able to file a grievance against the government and get an answer, i.e. redress. This is a legal question for a legal answer.
And the redress is an answer to a simple question:
Is a candidate with a foreign father qualified to be president?
That doesn’t seem to be a hard question to answer now, does it? Any legislator or judge should be able to officially answer this for any citizen of the U.S. older than age 5.

The problem we have is no integrity among our Judges, or elected officials.

jbjd….the problem is….as you told me….not all states can do this….you and your idea are getting very little recognition……why don’t you go on some of these talk radio shows and make your case so the word gets out there…..we all know about your complaints here but it is not getting out to the public so that every state that can file complaints will be made aware of the opportunity…..do it for the good of the cause and worry about the recognition later….it seems that is out of your control for the time being unless you want to put your name out there!

I’m not filing my 2009 either….I decided that long ago when they started with the bailouts…..they are wasting taxpayer money on all of this CRAP….my husband and I filed Chpt. 7 bankruptcy last month and no one from the government came to bail us out…..why should my hard working tax dollars go to this FRAUD of an administration????

Superior Court of the District of Columbia has jurisdiction over this matter as it is not a State and not represented in Congress and is not part of this country but holds a neutral position as all parties having a claim against them hold residents and work within the District of Columbia area and are federal citizens of that District…
All injury originated within this ten square mile area. As no State Court has jurisdiction to hear such an action. No Federal Court outside of the D.C. or inside of D.C. has jurisdiction to hear this case as they are a party to this action…
This gives the Superior Court of the District of Columbia jurisdiction over subject matter jurisdiction and personal jurisdiction to hear this claim.

I was watching Red Eye on Fox….they are a riot….I guess Contessa Brewer on MSNBC was set to interview Jesse Jackson and called him Al Sharpton….as you can imagine Jackson was none too pleased and she looked like a fool….she tried to blame it on the teleprompter…..she would have been better to say that Jackson gave a “thrill up her leg” ….what a bunch of morons they have on MSNBC….the biggest being Keith OlberDUMB!!

As very few of our Congressional elected officials—Democrats AND Republicans—are taking any actions or exhibiting any desire to stop the Obama Dictatorship and We-the-People are now being completely left out of any and all legislation that directly affects us, I can only surmise that we as the Nation of the United states of America may have reached the point of no return in our rapidly forced descent into totalitarianism.
From the anti-American and anti-human recently-passed Congressional bills, I have also concluded that—as these self-same elected officials no longer care what their constituents think—our attempts to stop the insanity of government officials summarily stripping us of our own money and our Constitutionally guaranteed liberties via peaceful means may have now come to an end. They haven’t worked. In actuality, even our September 1.7 millions-person-march on Washington D.C. in opposition to ObamaCare and Cap and Tax barely elicited yawns from both the Executive and Legislative branches of government—the ones the American people elected to office in the first place. Instead, delivering yet another slap to the faces of the American people, Obama skipped town that day to be fawned over by a hand-picked crowd of his supporters in Minnesota.
How did this dismantling occur? The beginnings of the Progressive/Communist/Marxist movement began in the US—in earnest—under Democrat President Woodrow Wilson and was expanded in the 1920s by ACLU founder Roger Nash Baldwin. There are many books and articles written about Baldwin—I’ve written a few also—so if you wish to research his or Wilson’s progressive and pro-communist backgrounds, I encourage you to do so. In this column, however, I will concentrate on more recent events leading to our demise.
The Beginnings of Recent Leftist Democrat Destructions
Established in 1977 under then leftist President Jimmy Carter, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) was enacted to force banking institutions to provide loans to low income people—many of whom could not or simply did not pay the loans back. As well as being used as a liberal/leftist slush fund, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were utilized to finance the mortgages of low-income individuals who could not qualify to purchase a home under traditional 30-year fixed financing. So, ARMs (adjustable rate mortgages) were given to the unqualified buyer. Beginning with extremely low mortgage payments, the unqualified-under-any-sane-circumstances buyer “bought” his or her home. The problem—just as if it had been planned—came when the mortgage rates increased, balloon payments came due and the ARM buyers paycheck didn’t increase at the same rate as his mortgage payments did. The marginal buyers were in trouble and, then, so was the economy.
The Leftists’ intermediary move to better Ensure the Deal?
To top that off, on 15 September 2008—under two months prior to the US Presidential and General elections—a coordinated and as yet “culprits-unnamed” draw-down on money market accounts to the tune of $550Billions in under 2 hours (a run on the banks) was announced by the Federal Reserve. It quickly pumped $120Billions into the system, temporarily shut down the Reserve and announced if it had not done so, by 3:00 p.m. that same day $5.5Trillions would have been lost by the USA alone and the world economic system would have crashed and burned.
Hmmm. Was this run on the banks and potential destruction of the economic system a way to better ensure Obama would be installed as POTUS? I don’t know but, it was certainly highly “coincidental” wasn’t it? This bank-run caused President Bush—under the prodding of the Democrat-run Congress—to call for TARP or “Troubled Asset Relief Program“ to be instituted. Note: It appears that the economy was doing too well for the Left to take any more chances that their Marxist candidate wouldn’t win. So…the run on the banks was necessary. What a movie this will make. But, who will play Obama? Will Obama soon control the film industry—at least the small portion he doesn’t currently dominate?
Change You Can Believe in but, Are Not Allowed to Know
The US POTUS Candidate (who may or may not be a US citizen—“Don’t ask don’t tell” is Obama’s motto on his birth certificate issue) Barack Hussein Obama was chosen by US and World leftists as their representative to employ and conduct the fast, furious and final disintegration and desolation of the United States of America. And, Obama is conducting a brilliant campaign of doing so. In just a few short months Obama has brought the USA to its knees and terrorists everywhere to wild and unbridled applause. In just 9 months, Obama and his minions (including his Uber-Marxist Czars) has stolen more money (and continues to do so) from We-the-People than all other POTUS’ in history—combined. And he is redistributing it to his cronies and countries of choice—with a few bucks trickled down to the voting poor. Obama has vowed to shove his Cap and Tax and government-run ObamaCare down the throats of the American people. This is despite the facts that consistently the American people have polled in large majority against Cap and Trade (which will cause an energy-cost increase of between $2,000-4,000/year per family and eliminate millions more jobs), 80-85% of the American people polled have said they like their current healthcare insurance plans and do NOT want government-controlled healthcare (aka “public option”). Change has come folks. But, it no longer seems to be the change that those who voted for Obama thought it would include. And all of their “change” is now happening behind closed Democrat doors. We-the-People are neither invited to participate in our country’s business nor to make any more decisions regarding it. Our rulers have spoken—loudly.
The Real Mission of the World’s Left
In virtually everything they say and do, Obama, the US House of Representatives and the US Senate have made it crystal clear that they do not care what We-the-People want. They are now talking only amongst themselves and taking only their own counsel. They want control OVER us—purely and simply. And they’re gaining more and more of it each and every day. Cap and Trade (now called the “Climate Bill”) will not help the climate. But, it will take more of the people’s assets and give them to the UN. Did you know that Obama is planning to cede what’s remaining of US sovereignty in December at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen? See the video and article below. If they don’t send chills down your spine nothing will. The signing this treaty will place the United Nations in charge of US energy policy. Did you know that? And leftist Democrats are now openly running as Republicans. One prime example is that of New York’s 23rd District Dierdre Scozzafava. Scozzafava is pro-abortion, pro-big labor, votes to raise taxes and is supported by leftist groups including the Working Families Party, which calls itself “New York’s liveliest and most progressive political party.” The real conservative running in this race is Doug Hoffman. To add insult to injury, Newt Gingrich is supporting the radical Scozzafava. Note: More suspicions confirmed about Newt?
Endgame
The poorer and less educated countries become, the easier it is to control both said countries and their populations. And, with regards to ObamaCare, the fewer people in a country—the easier it is to control. Marxism is a feudal system, which incorporates the elite ruling class at the top and the soon-to-be-poor workers (aka proletariat) at the bottom working for the elites. The proletariat have nothing except that which their totalitarian government decides to “bestow” upon them. And the bestowing is not, by any stretch of the imagination, equal.
And from the 1963 Communist Goals for the USA (it took awhile but, Obama is now driving them through) are a few of the tactics used. The complete list can be accessed via the URL below:
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.
Sound familiar? It should. It’s what the leftist Congress and Dictator-in-Chief have been using as one of their guidelines since they were elected. And the endgame? It’s to control who can be controlled and terminate those who refuse. Simple process and to the point…don’t you think?

It is already known that nobody has stepped forward to vouch for witnessing or being connected to Mr. Obama’s birth as alleged to have been in some Hawaiian hospital. And now it appears that nobody seems to remember their fellow classmate at Columbia University.
The Anti-Mullah blog posted this story last Sunday; I did some further research to find out from whence they pulled much of the verbiage in their posting.
First, Reason.com posted an article back in September, 2008 in which they interviewed the Libertarian Party Vice Presidential candidate, Wayne Allen Root (poignantly excerpted quotes):
Root is no fan of the Democratic nominee: “A vote for Obama is four years of Karl Marx, and no one should be happy about that,” he told us and a few genial young libertarian activists over cocktails. “He’s a communist! I don’t care what anybody says. The guy’s a communist…. And his mother was a card-carrying communist, and he says she’s the most important person in his entire life; he learned everything from her.”
But the thing Root really wanted to talk about was Obama’s grades. Specifically, he was willing to bet a million dollars that he earned a better grade point average at Columbia than his old classmate, and that the only reason Obama went on to Harvard Law School was the color of his skin. …
“I think the most dangerous thing you should know about Barack Obama is that I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knows him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! … Where was Obama? He wasn’t an outgoing young man, no one ever heard of him. …
Class of ‘83 political science, pre-law Columbia University. You don’t get more exact than that. Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him. The FOX website released a collection of information about Obama to go along with their examination of his “character and conduct’. The choice of material pretty much illustrates the message they crafted in last night’s piece. …
Although time was spent exploring Obama’s community work in Chicago there was very little emphasis on his teaching career at the University of Chicago. Although viewers were informed that after interviewing 400 Columbia University graduates none of them knew Barack Obama when he attended, they didn’t bother to interview even one of his students about their experiences in Obama’s class. Wouldn’t that have provided insight into the candidates character?
The friendship with Sohale Siddiqi who he meant when he left home for the first time at 18 to attend Occidental College was made into a big deal during the documentary. They made a point to note that Obama visited Pakistan at age 20 to visit Siddiqi’s family. Then gravely explored Obama rooming with him in New York when he first got there alone, broke and homeless to go to Columbia. Obama had written about being forced to sleep on the streets for a few nights and waking up in an alley with a chicken pecking at him. FOX News managed to use it to connect Obama to the drug world with a claim from a New York City detective that the alley was located in a rough neighborhood run by Dominican drug lords.It’s doubtful that they were trying to stress that Obama’s poverty had put him in danger. The article about Obama and Saddiqi on the website is far more positive and objective than last night’s coverage.

The Obama campaign declined to discuss Obama’s time at Columbia and his friendships in general. It won’t, for example, release his transcript or name his friends. It did, however, list five locations where Obama lived during his four years here: three on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and two in Brooklyn – one in Park Slope, the other in Brooklyn Heights. His memoir mentions two others on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Naturally, there’s the question of Columbia’s yearbook. This question is more than fully covered by DBKP and further commentary over at FreeRepublic; both links are certainly worth investigating for more insights into next to no background on this President.
While part of the story is dealing with Mr. Obama’s presence at Columbia University, I would invite all of my readers to not miss the bigger point here:
There is clearly precious little evidence showing substantial bona fides for this President. And for someone who claims to want to operate within the realm of transparency, one could not be any more opaque.
I love Wayne Allyn Root….he lives right here in Henderson Nevada…..and I would vote for him in a minute…..he is a great Conservative…..read about him here….

That’s where the resemblance ends. Mr. Root is the Libertarian Party’s vice presidential nominee, not to mention a professional sports handicapper, TV host and entrepreneur. On a rare trip to Manhattan from his home in Henderson, Nev., a Las Vegas suburb, he met up with Lou Jasikoff, chairman of the New Jersey Libertarians; Roger Lee Harrison, a TV and movie producer; and Douglas Fleming, headmaster of the Thornton-Donovan School in New Rochelle, N.Y., his alma mater.
“In his yearbook, Wayne said he wanted to be a congressman,” Mr. Fleming said. “He always wanted to start at the top.”
Dinner was at Chin Chin, on East 49th Street. For the candidate (whose initials, he points out, spell WAR), Chinese food has great significance: It was over a meal of Sichuan chicken that Mr. Root and his business partner, Doug Miller, mapped out his professional future. “That’s what my life has been about, winning,” Mr. Root said. “The Libertarians have been a debate society since 1971. No one ever thought about winning. And then I came along.”
Not that he thinks he and his running mate will triumph in 2008. “Bob Barr and I are going to get a million to three million votes this year,” he predicted, between bites of chicken. “In 2012 I expect to duplicate Ross Perot’s number of 19 million. In 2016 I expect to be a credible third-party candidate, and in 2020 I plan to win.”
The last member of Mr. Root’s entourage, Roy Pomerantz, arrived late. Both graduated from Columbia College in 1983. “I donated to Wayne’s campaign on the understanding that he would donate an equal amount to our 25th reunion,” said Mr. Pomerantz, head of a company that sells infant gear and pet toys. “It was the first time he anted up.”
Neither one knew their famous Columbia classmate, Barack Obama. “I’ve not only not met him,” Mr. Root said, “I’ve not met anybody who met him.”
There was a timeout while Mr. Root took a call from ESPN about that evening’s Eagles-Cowboys game. The late money was flowing to Philadelphia, but Mr. Root chose Dallas. “I’m a contrarian,” he said. (Dallas won, 41-37, but Philadelphia covered the spread.)
Mr. Root wagered that John McCain would prevail in November, winning 37 to 40 states. To his mind, that would be no coincidence.
“McCain literally stole, word for word, what I’ve been saying in my playbook,” Mr. Root complained. “Like education. I called it ‘the civil rights issue of the 21st century.’ And what did he say in his acceptance speech? Same thing, word for word. He didn’t even give me credit.”
(It should be noted, though, that the phrase “the civil rights issue of the 21st century” itself doesn’t appear to be Mr. Root’s creation.)
Fortune cookies arrived. Mr. Root’s read, “You are not afraid of storms because you are learning to sail your ship.”
He nodded in agreement about those storms. “I sail right into them,” he said.

The report says the Secret Service is strained by a drastic increase in threats to President Obama, coupled with deep budget cuts. Some are speculating that the agency may need to relinquish all or part of its roles in protecting the country’s financial machinery in order to focus resources on the protection of the president and other high-profile leaders.

I realize, though, as much as our rights and freedoms have been and continue to be usurped & our country is destroyed, some people still can’t wrap their heads around the fact their government would ever engage in this kind of behavior on U.S. soil. I know I didn’t want to believe it, either. Venice wrote something to this effect yesterday – the basic psychological nature of it all.
All one has to do is look at the despicable acts of violence our government instigates toward innocent people around the globe to advance their cause…the soil matters not to them.
Sound a little Joneasean? Nope. Sound like business as usual for the government. You betcha.

Others are also contending in the race against Boxer. (Op’s excuse me Senator Boxer).
Check out Chuck DeVore. DeVore appears to be a viable replacement for Boxer. To me Boxer needs a rest. Maybe we can find a nice retirement home for her. We need a candidate with solid core values. Chuck might just be that person.
Boxer will soon be history along with Harry Reid, just wait and see!

On The 700 Club this morning, The Brody File did an in-depth report on Chai Feldblum, President Obama’s nominee for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Some of her comments will surely be controversial including video of her saying, “Gay sex is morally good”. It then gets even more interesting than that when she starts talking about her views on marriage and how in most cases sexual liberty trumps religious liberty.
