Jon Voight, Obama, My concerns for America, Obama, Falls Short In Every Way, Obama sowing socialist seeds, July 2008, Glenn Beck

I just watched Jon Voight being interviewed by Glenn Beck. Mr. Voight shared his concrens about Barack Obama and what his presidency would mean for this country. Jon Voight goes on to say Obama has not been vetted and has marxist agendas. Jon Voight has spoken out recently about his concerns about Obama and just for questioning Obama, he and his family have received personal attacks. Sound familiar?

Jon Voight has an article in the Washington Times,  “VOIGHT: My concerns for America,  Obama sowing socialist seeds in young people,” dated July 28, 2008. Here are some exerpts from that article:

“Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.

The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.”

  1. I dunno. I’m a Republican, and I don’t think this Obama guy is that bad at all. In fact, I prefer him to McCain. Some people, like John Voit, are just way over the top.

  2. In my eyes John Voight is a hero. Knowing how this could affect his career, he stands by the principled concerns he has for the country he loves. He is to be admired.

  3. Well, if Jon Voight said it — it must be true! Who are you going to quote next? Britney Spears?

Unless the American people want to have a socialist country they had better wakeup and vote for Sen. John McCain! Obama is socialist all the way. Just look at his background and all the spending social programs he wants. Obama is in a conflict interest when it comes to corn for oil!

I tried to include a url of my post on corn for oil but your blog would not accept it so stop by and check it out when you get a chance!

  6. Juan you are not a republican, because no republican who follows republican beliefs would ever vote for Obama. You may not like McCain but republicans do not believe in higher taxes, weak cut and run military, socialized medicine, larger government and many more things that I don’t have time to list.

Ben Hoffman you have people in America who are educated about politics, actors and others. Just because Voight is an actor does not make his opinion any less credible. Now if you speak with Scarlett Johannson and ask her about issues she has no clue, but Voight does have a clue, he is involved in the process. If you want to talk smack then lets have a debate. Start off with any issue you want and I will gladly come back with facts that will prove your ideas to be misguided.

    Hey Ben –

I’ll use your logic (or lack thereof).

“If we just keep our tires properly inflated we can avert an energy crisis.”

Obamessiah said it, it must be true!!!!!

  8. Vic, I agree with everything you said. Any Republican who supports Obama is NOT a conservative or even believes in the Republican stands on the issues. In other words they are really very liberal to the point of socialist! I know there are many here who are supporters of Hillary, and at the same time say they will never vote for Obama. I do wonder why, since Obama and Hillary agree on every issue. I am not totally pleased with McCain but will vote for him in November and hope for a real conservative to surface in 2012. 🙂

I am not totally pleased with McCain but will vote for him in November and hope for a real conservative to surface in 2012. Jean you said it and I agree!

  10. I am not pleased with McCain either. He’s no conservative… he’s a neoconservative, just like the neocons who made our country so weak, we are powerless over Russia invading one of our allies. And that got us in debt up to our ears. And who are responsible for destroying our economy.

Sure, if you hate America, vote for McCain. Or better yet, move to another country.

  11. Yeah Ben blame republicans for everything. Ouch I have a hang nail must be republicans fault.

  12. Do we want a President who will not pledge to our flag and who removes the flag from his private plane? Do we want a President who says “I will stand with the Muslims?” I believe there are too many unanswered questions to vote for this man.
