Covid-19 deaths inpact on US, Facts not fake news, 5 states near NY City epicenter have 61% of deaths, 9 states have 76% of deaths, 14 states less than 100
Folks the misportrayals (lies) are even worse.
In the US, 92 % of Covid-19 Wuhan Virus deaths are in the age groups 55 and over.
80 % are in the age groups 65 and over.

Bottom line. Most of you are not going to die from Covid-19.
And furthermore, a high percentage of deaths are happening in long term care (nursing homes) facilities.

Since some of our earliest news about Covid-19 came out of a nursing home in Washington State, we had a proper heads up.
Conclusion: governors and states apparently have done a poor job of protecting our most vulnerable populations in nursing homes and probably overreacted in regard to the rest of the population.
The fake news media has not helped.

CW, here are the latest stats from MA, We are #4 in the country for having the most COVID-19 deaths. Here’s the breakdown with my quickie math:
4979 total deaths as of 5-11-20.
3001 deaths in nursing homes/long term care facilities: ~ 61%
of total deaths in MA.
4743 deaths in people aged 60 to 80+; ~ 96% of the total deaths in MA.
There have been a ton of deaths in the Chelsea Soldier’s Home in greater Boston, and the Holyoke Soldier’s Home in Western MA. It should come as no surprise that these Soldier’s Homes are operated by the state. Heads are rolling, as they should.
Governor ‘Chuck You’ Charlie Baker (a confirmed Trump hater) has just put out his 4 pronged plan to reopen *some* of the state on May 18. As usual, the Republican (actually a Democrat) gave no specifics; people want specifics and they want them now!
Baker has two choices here: Reopen the state and risk more positive COVID-19 tests and more deaths or, keep most businesses in the state closed and tank the economy. We’re already a few billion in the hole so why not just finish us off, Charlie?
If one of his plans doesn’t work out, he doesn’t wanna be known as the guy who screwed it up.
He’s gotta grow a pair and make a decision. People have had enough and are struggling. This shutdown is unsustainable. He knows it.
Clearly, the governors, including NC Roy Cooper, have failed the citizens.

………to the post of SueK we need to look at the 5000 people who were nursing home residents in NY state all of whom died of Coronavirus as a direct result of Cuomo’s directive that people with the infection be admitted to the nursing facilities. None of these facilities are geared for caring for people with infectious diseases. Sadly Cuomo KNEW THIS, and in spite of this ordered infected people into nursing homes. To date 5000+ innocent residents died. Cuomo decided they were EXPENDABLE…….HOW DAMN VILE CAN ANYBODY GET? CUOMO SHOULD FACE PROSECUTION FOR CAUSING THE DEATHS OF AT LEAST 5000 AGED CITIZENS.
