In 1974, Republican Louis Wyman won his race for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, beating Democrat John Durkin by 355 votes. Durkin demanded a recount — which went back and forth by a handful of votes until the state’s Ballot Law Commission concluded that Wyman had indeed won.
Wyman was certified the winner by the New Hampshire secretary of state and was on his way to Washington, D.C., when … the Senate refused to seat him. New Hampshire’s certification of Wyman as the winner meant nothing, because, you see, Democrats held a majority in the Senate.

…………….the happy meal USED TO BE a great lunch time thing. You wasn’t stuffed and you could go right back to work after lunch and not feel bloated or anything. Sadly McDonalds removed the cheeseburger, and fries from the happy meal which effectively destroyed it as a lunchtime fare. It is no longer available in most McDonalds restaurants. When I get a hankering for a cheeseburger and fries I now go to Burger King. Even though I despise Burger King, they do have a fair representative of a cheeseburger.

………….today the media is claiming that the mass immigration we are witnessing is comparable to that of 1910. This might have some credibility. I know for a fact that thousands came to America in that year. Among them was my own grandmother, grandfather, father, and aunt. In addition many did not arrive at Ellis Island. Hundreds arrived at the port of Toronto, and entered the US from there. This was a matter of choice. It was incredibly difficult to find a ship which was coming to New York, that was not booked months in advance………so people who were in earnest simply accepted travel to Toronto instead, and relied upon their own abilities from that point forward. In those days Detroit was a legal entry point which is where my family entered the US. Also Detroit offered almost immediate employment in the trade of my grandfather. He was a LITHOGRAPHER. Detroit was the center of a fast developing commercial lithographic printing industry.

…………….isn’t it amazing……….Florida ballots keep showing up in really strange places…….allegedly a box of ballots were found in the trunk of a rental car at a Florida airport. I think the Florida democrats would take them sight unseen…….and it seems that somebody in Georgia might also need a box or two of ballots to materialize out of thin air.
