The family members and church family members of the Charleston, SC church shooting have done more to reveal the true meaning of Christianity in a few days than most folks ever do.
Their family members and friends have been killed and yet they immediately forgave the assassin.
I am not sure I could do so that quickly.

Is Kings Mountain a suburb of Charleston? I was at the Navy Shipyard in Charleston way back in the 1950s. We stopped there for some repairs to one of our propeller shafts. We were there about a week and a half. We left there and headed straight for Panama Canal.
As I remember the few people (yard workers) I met during the time we were there seemed to be pretty decent folks. A yard worker even made a repair to a malfunctioning sea water valve for us. He didn’t have to, it wasn’t even part of the scheduled repairs. But while the ship was drydocked was the perfect time for the valve repair as well. It was one of two scoop injection valves on the skin of the ship near the keel. Often it would stick and not open when it should. When he was finished with it the valve functioned exactly as it was supposed to thereafter. We rewarded him with a 20 lb tin of Navy coffee. “COMESHAWED OF COURSE!” That is sometimes how things were done at Navy yards in those days. Sort of “OFF THE CUFF” IF YOU WILL, but it got results.

Twin Peaks – Twin Lies

A recent NOAA article is just what Doctor Doom ordered. It claims the 18-year “hiatus” in rising planetary temperatures isn’t really happening. (The “pause” followed a 20-year modest temperature increase, which followed a prolonged cooling period.) The article states:
“Here we present an updated global surface temperature analysis that reveals that global trends are higher than reported by the IPCC, especially in recent decades, and that the central estimate for the rate of warming during the first 15 years of the 21st century is at least as great as the last half of the 20th century. These results do not support the notion of a ‘slowdown’ in the increase of global surface temperature.”
Published in Science magazine to ensure extensive news coverage before critics could expose its flaws, the report was indeed featured prominently in the national print, television, radio and electronic media.
It’s part of the twin peaks thesis: Peaking carbon dioxide levels will cause peaking temperatures, which will lead to catastrophic climate and weather. Unfortunately for alarmists, the chaos isn’t happening.
No category 3-5 hurricane has hit the United States for a record 9-1/2 years. Tornadoes, droughts, polar bears, polar ice, sea levels and wildfires are all in line with (or improvements on) historic patterns and trends. The Sahel is green again, thanks to that extra CO2. And the newly invented disasters they want to attribute to fossil fuel-driven climate change – allergies, asthma, Islamic State and Boko Haram – don’t even pass the laugh test.
The NOAA report appears to have been another salvo in the White House’s attempt to regain the offensive, ahead of the Heartland Institute’s Tenth International Climate Conference. However, a growing number of prominent analysts have uncovered serious biases, errors and questions in the report.
Climatologists Pat Michaels, Dick Lindzen, and Chip Knappenberger point out that the NOAA team adjusted sea-surface temperature (SST) data from buoys upward by 0.12 degrees Celsius, to make them “homogenous” with lengthier records from engine intake systems in ships. However, engine intake data are “clearly contaminated by heat conduction” from the ships, and the data were never intended for scientific use – whereas the global buoy network was designed for environmental monitoring.
So why not adjust the ship data downward, to “homogenize” them with buoy data, and account for the contamination? Perhaps because, as Georgia Tech climatologist Judith Curry observed, this latest NOAA analysis “will be regarded as politically useful for the Obama administration.” However, it will not be “particularly useful” for improving our understanding of what is happening in Earth’s climate system.
Dr. Curry and the previously mentioned scientists also note that the buoy network has covered an increasingly wide area over the past couple decades, collecting high quality data. So again, why did NOAA resort to shipboard data? The ARGO buoys and satellite network (both omitted in this new analysis) do not show a warming trend – whereas the NOAA methodology injects a clear warming trend.
Canadian economist and statistical expert Ross McKitrick also analyzed the NOAA approach. He concluded that it wipes out the global warming hiatus that eight other studies have found. Its adjustments to SST records for 1998-2000 had an especially large effect, he says. Dr. McKitrick also recaps the problems scientists have with trying to create consistent temperature records from the multiple measurement methods employed over the centuries.
Theologian, ethicist and climate analyst Calvin Beisner provides an excellent summary of all these and other critiques of the deceptive NOAA paper.
It is also important to note that, in reality, NOAA is quibbling about hundredths of a degree – essentially the margin of error. On that basis it rejects multiple studies that found planetary warming has stopped.
Britain’s Global Warming Policy Forum succinctly concludes: “This is a highly speculative and slight paper that produces a statistically marginal result by cherry-picking time intervals, resulting in a global temperature graph that is at odds with those produced by the UK Met Office and NASA,” as well as by other exhaustive data monitoring reports over the past four decades.
The vitally important bottom line is simple.
The central issue in this ongoing debate is not whether Planet Earth is warming. The issue is: How much is it warming? How much of the warming and other climate changes are due to mankind’s use of fossil fuels and emission of greenhouse gases – and how much are due to the same powerful natural forces that have driven climate and weather fluctuations throughout Earth and human history? And will any changes be short-term or long-term … and good, bad, neutral or catastrophic?
At this time, there is no scientific evidence – based on actual observations and measurements of temperatures and weather events – that humans are altering the climate to a significant or dangerous degree. Computer models, political statements and hypothetical cataclysms cannot and must not substitute for that absence of actual evidence, especially when the consequences would be so dire for so many. In fact, even the “record high” global average temperature of 2014 was concocted and a margin of error.
Simply put, the danger is not climate change – which will always be with us. The danger is energy restrictions imposed in the name of controlling Earth’s perpetually fickle climate.
Moreover, the IPCC’s top climate official says the UN’s unelected bureaucrats are undertaking “probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the [global capitalist] economic development model.” Another IPCC director says, “Climate policy has almost nothing to do anymore with environmental protection. The next world climate summit is actually an economy summit, during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated.”;
That summit could give government officials and environmental activists the power to eliminate fossil fuels, control businesses and entire economies, and tell families what living standards they will be permitted to enjoy – with no accountability for the damage that will result from their actions.
For developed nations, surrendering to the climate crisis industry would result in fossil fuel restrictions that kill jobs, reduce living standards, health, welfare and life spans – and put ideologically driven government bureaucrats in control of everything people make, grow, ship, eat and do.
For poor countries, implementing policies to protect energy-deprived masses from computer-generated manmade climate disasters decades from now would perpetuate poverty and diseases that kill them tomorrow. Denying people their basic rights to have affordable, reliable energy, rise up out of poverty, and enjoy modern technologies and living standards would be immoral – a crime against humanity.
Countries, communities, companies and citizens need to challenge and resist these immoral, harmful, tyrannical, lethal and racist EPA, IPCC, UN and EU decrees. Otherwise, the steady technological, economic, health and human progress of the past 150 years will come to a painful, grinding halt – sacrificed in the name of an illusory and fabricated climate crisis.

CW, I need some help.
Can someone here give me some advice on how to deal with a public nuisance?
To make a long story short, our town passed an ordinance that states fireworks can not be shot off in 3 or more different hours in a 24 hour period, and not more than 3 days in a 24 hour period (different sub paragraphs)`.
For example, he’ll shoot one off at 5pm, maybe two at 7pm and two or three at 10:45pm (it’s illegal after 11pm) I’m talking big boomers that shake my house. Not firecrackers. He’s done it the last 3 out of 4 days, that I will testify too, and if he does it yet today, 4 out of 5 days)
The police are refusing to cite him when we report him violating the ordinance. They tell us that they have to see him doing it for him to be in violation.
I have told the police that I am willing to sign an affidavit stating what I have witnessed, and will promise to appear at a hearing.
Besides cameras, any suggestions? Cameras are on the agenda just so you know.

Here in Fort Wayne we have almost the same law and times allowed. If the fireworks are fired within the specified time frame, he/she is legal in that aspect, but there are OTHER ASPECTS. You can pay a small fee , and take the person to COURT on grounds that the noise generated is beyond the parameters set down in the community’s noise ordnances, and the overhead explosions are creating a hazard to yours, and your family’s hearing, and general well being, along with causing a general discomfort even inside of your home. Your complaint should be worded to address health concerns,which are being SPECIFICALLY CAUSED by the noise and pressure waves generated by the OVERHEAD EXPLOSIONS, which exceed the parameters of the noise ordnances. You must be able to PROVE that such explosions are a nuisance and or,a potential threat to the health of all living in your house. If you have neighbors who are equally affected I would suggest obtaining a written and notorised statement from them as well. In general the more signatures that you can get the better are your chances during adjudication. Hope that helps. Do you have a city advocate? If so I would first send certified (paid witness) copies of your complaint to the city advocate, This serves several purposes one of which is being on record of having done so…….very useful at a later date,if you should be forced to file a complaint with the small claims court. Keep exacting records of the explosions,an details involved. Every word is IMPORTANT, but don’t go into needless detail.Also try to get sound level readings. If you can find a NOISE LEVEL METER, to rent,or borrow it might be helpful if you can catch one of the explosions and register the DECIBELS generated. Won’t be very EASY,but is doable. Also have the noise level certified as well. If it is being done as a form of harassment, then you will need to include that in your complaint. If you incur substantial cost in healthcare, and general costs arising specifically as a result of the objectionable activity you are within your rights to ask for monetary relief as well. Most small claims courts go up to $15,000.00. Just food for thought! but whatever you do try the ADVOCATE first. I would obtain a print out of the fireworks laws as well as the NOISE LAWs of your city. As I recall you are not in INDY proper.

Why Obama’s “Daddy Issues” May Cause World War III

Everyone in America and abroad has been scratching their heads over President Obama’s never-ending search for fellowship with leaders of the Muslim world — leaders that often torture and kill their own citizens — men, women and children alike. His incessant near-groveling to foreign Muslim leaders — from that first speech in Cairo, to the mind-boggling full bow to the Saudi King, to the never-ending concessions offered to Iran — has baffled almost everyone.
Now, former Israeli ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, suggests that perhaps the answer is rooted deep in Obama’s childhood. As reported by The Jerusalem Post:
In a piece Friday in Foreign Policy, Oren – who left Washington on October 1, 2013, and is now a Kulanu MK — charged that Obama was naïve as a peacemaker, had blinders to terrorism, and that his abandonment by both his Muslim father and step-father had something to do with his desire to be accepted by their “co-religionists.”
In other words, might Obama’s Muslim kowtowing be the result of daddy issues???
During his first year in office, Obama, Oren argued, offered in essence “a new deal in which the United States would respect popularly chosen Muslim leaders who were authentically rooted in their traditions and willing to engage with the West.”
The former ambassador said this explained why Obama restored diplomatic ties with Syria, severed by his predecessor George W. Bush after the assassination of former Lebanese president Rafik Hariri; why he engaged in outreach to Libya and Iran; and why he stood by Turkish president Recep Tayyip erdogan and ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi.
“Erdogan and Morsi were both devout Muslims, democratically elected, and accepting of Obama’s outstretched hand. So, too, was Hassan Rouhani, who became Obama’s partner in seeking a negotiated settlement of the Iranian nuclear dispute,” he wrote.
Oren attributed this orientation to the intellectual milieu in which Obama grew up, as well as his personal history. “I could imagine how a child raised by a Christian mother might see himself as a natural bridge between her two Muslim husbands. I could also speculate how that child’s abandonment by those men could lead him, many years later, to seek acceptance by their co-religionists.”
I’ve often wondered myself if President Obama’s view of the Muslim world was colored by his childhood growing up in Indonesia. I agree with Oren; the president’s naiveté in dealing with ISIS and Iran has been surprising. Another example of Obama’s never-ending bending over backwards for Muslims was his ordering NASA Chief Charles Bolden to use the space agency’s resources to, “find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science … and math and engineering.” As if pointing out a fifth-century Muslim engineering accomplishment will stop ISIS’ pillaging, looting and destruction of antiquities! President Obama seems to be in denial of Iran’s current scientific pursuits — the development of nuclear bombs so they can destroy the Devil (us) and the Devil, Jr. (Israel). Despite Bolden’s round-the-clock work since 2009 to find accomplishments to “make the Muslims feel good,” the only thing that’s happened is more violence, more killing and the creation of ISIS.
Oren echoes the sentiment that Obama’s bootlicking attempts have done little good — and, in fact, are incredibly dangerous.
The tragedy, he said, was that Obama’s outreach to the Muslim world was rejected.
“Historians will likely look back at Obama’s policy toward Islam with a combination of curiosity and incredulousness,” he wrote. “While some may credit the president for his good intentions, others might fault him for being naïve and detached from a complex and increasingly lethal reality.”
Will President Obama’s insistence on fuzzy feelings for Islam’s bad boys really change things — or will it result in our demise? Based on what’s happened so far, I’d say the chances of them “feeling good” about anything but snookering us aren’t too good.

So the ‘chickens are coming home to roost’ and all those SUCKERS who gave big bucks to the Clinton Foundation thinking their donations were going to benefit the poor and down trodden around the world are now discovering they have now been “SCREWED IN TWO DIFFERENT POSITIONS”…and someone “pocketed the rest of those millions”….
My guess is it was Bill Clinton because George Bush was not smart enough to “get in on the take”. I’m not saying Bush ‘wouldn’t have-if he could have’ outsmart Slick Willy, I’m just saying I don’t think he was smart enough to “share in the wealth”.
As for the 2 ways the ‘Big Dollar Donors’ have been screwed by this Clinton Foundation scam, they are;
First ….the world now knows as a fact that Bill Clinton and G. W. Bush only built six houses with those millions that were suppose to be for the benefit of the Haitian refugee problem…….this not only makes the donors of those corporations look absolutely ignorant in the eyes of the world but it also gives them a black eye for the ignorance they showed, and it only reflects on the ability of the Clinton’s to weasel them out of “OPM”, (other peoples money, the shareholders of those corporations).
Secondly…. The big-hearted donors are now finding out the donations they so generously made to this Clinton Scam has not even been recognized as a NON-PROFIT charity…..so it looks like they will still be paying taxes on their give-away money to the Clinton scam…..now that should really piss any shareholders off….shareholders get very angry when the IRS start dipping into their expected profits.
Sometimes, I wonder about all these “bright young whiz kids” who are making all the decisions in the sky high worldly corporations……
