The alleged decrease of 37,000 initial claims from the prior week makes zero reality sense.

The advance unadjusted insured unemployment rate was 3.0 percent during the week ending January 5, an increase of 0.1 percentage point from the prior week’s unrevised rate. The advance unadjusted number for persons claiming UI benefits in state programs totaled 3,850,441, an increase of 170,067 from the preceding week. A year earlier, the rate was 3.2 percent and the volume was 4,109,127.
The total number of people claiming benefits in all programs for the week ending December 29 was 5,821,966, an increase of 465,547 from the previous week. There were 7,826,846 persons claiming benefits in all programs in the comparable week in 2011.”

What happened to the “second shooter” – the man apprehended at the school? Also what happen to the two who were running away in the woods behind the school? Anyone know?
Also, I read that a locl newspaper interviewed the principal in the afternoon of the shootings… but later reports identified her as having died during the shoot out..?
And… I keep hearing thatthe kids were shot with an asault rifle… but earlier reports said the gunman had only two handguns and the rifle was in the trunk of the car..?
The also the car identified as one belonging to the shooter, was in fact registered to someone else..
And finally.. I’ve heard that many of the documents are sealed..? why if is was a straighforward one guy did it crime?

TJ, I saw the same report in the Newtown Bee when the principal was interviewed. On an update, they said they made a mistake in the story. Also, there’s a YouTube video that shows a couple named Phelps who have children that attend Sandy Hook. But, this couple is identical to a couple who name Sexton who live in Florida. As Andy would say, “Curiouser and curiouser.”

I have a short bit of time to comment this morning as work has been postponed a few hours due to snowfall yesterday and overnight freezing temperatures. A couple of comments on my thoughts:
When it comes to the unemployment figures in claims for seasonal adjustment, it appears to me not to be such a complexity, but rather a manipulation of classification. First; those employees that have been hired for employment during the winter season – primarily in the month of late November (Black Friday preps) and December (Christmas) – are let go shortly after Christmas. These employees are counted as “Seasonal Employees”. However, they do not work long enough in their duration of these temp jobs in order to claim “Unemployment”! Although the duration of employment does indeed vary from state to state, the least one could work in these fields is 3 months to claim unemployment benefits, not 1 or 2 months. So, in order for the labor department to claim that the unemployment claims jump was due to those temp employees being let go is simply a farce as they didn’t work long enough to claim in the first place.
Secondly, what is the GOP going to do to legally to challenge Obama’s overreach on his E.O. power grab bypassing Congress pertaining to gun control, if anything?
Although most Americans agree that the mentally ill should never possess the ability to purchase a gun, I believe there are a couple of concerns I have about this. First, no doctor has the legal authority to declare a mentally ill, only a court of law can do that. Additionally, thought needs to be carefully considered on this fine line and manipulation by this administrations intent while attempting to satisfy the public outcry for those declared mentally ill. For example, what is to be said for our Soldiers returning from war seeking any post trauma help? They would indeed fall under this category of mental illness in accordance with this E.O., thus banning them from owning guns. What better way than to prevent (and take away) guns owned by our experienced Veterans than this by grouping them together?

It says anti-federalists “espouse strong convictions regarding the federal government, believing it to be corrupt and tyrannical, with a natural tendency to intrude on individuals’ civil and constitutional rights. Finally, they support civil activism, individual freedoms, and self government. Extremists in the anti-federalist movement direct most their violence against the federal government and its proxies in law enforcement.”
The report also draws a link between the mainstream conservative movement and the violent “far right,” and describes liberals as “future oriented” and conservatives as living in the past.
“While liberal worldviews are future- or progressive -oriented, conservative perspectives are more past-oriented, and in general, are interested in preserving the status quo.” the report says. “The far right represents a more extreme version of conservatism, as its political vision is usually justified by the aspiration to restore or preserve values and practices that are part of the idealized historical heritage of the nation or ethnic community.”
The report adds: “While far-right groups’ ideology is designed to exclude minorities and foreigners, the liberal-democratic system is designed to emphasize civil rights, minority rights and the balance of power.”
The report says there were 350 “attacks initiated by far-right groups/individuals” in 2011.
Details about what makes an attack a “far right” action are not clear in the report, which was written by Arie Perliger, who directs the center’s terrorism studies and teaches social sciences at West Point.
A Republican congressional staffer who served in the military told The Washington Times: “If [the Defense Department] is looking for places to cut spending, this junk study is ground zero.

This is amazing. Just to give you a measure of comparison, not too long ago 5,000 signatures was a thresh-hold for the President of the United States to respond to a petition on WeThePeople@whitehouse.gov. You reached this thresh-hold in a day and a half.
We got responses from several congressmen and senators. As expected, they are either
a. completely clueless and brainwashed or brain dead
b. responses were written by aids, who are typically young, straight out of leftist academia, pro Obama zombies
c. they are corrupt, on the take and want to cover up any crime to stay ina position of power in the times of rigged elections and in the atmosphere of Chicago style “pay to play politics” and universal coruption and criminality
d. all of he above
What do you need to do:
1. Demand a meeting, preferably in their home office
2. Remind them that each and every U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator is personally a defendant in Grinols et all v Electoral College, Congress, Obama, Biden 12-cv-02997 Eastern District of Ca and according to the presiding judge it is their responsibility, as members of Congress, to investigate Obama’s forged IDs.
3. Remind them that the government of HI never verified anything, they actually refused to comply with federal subpoenas and refused to provide any original documents. Without seeing original documents, there is no verification. Copies he posted on line were found to be cheap computer generated forgeries. Each congressman received with the complaint, as exhibits, sworn affidavits of Sheriff Arpaio, Senior Deportation officer Sampson and others attesting to the fact that all of Obama’s IDs are forgeries. They also received a sworn affidavit from the assistant clerk of the Registrar of Honolulu county attesting top the fact that there is no hospital issues birth certificate from any hospital in Hawaii
4. Remind them that according to Obama’s school registration in Indonesia , he is a citizen of Indonesia, and aiding and abetting a foreign citizen in usurpation of the US presidency is treason.
5. Remind them that penalty for treason is a life in prison or death penalty.
6. Remind them that there are only 535 of them and there are 314 million of us
7. Remind them that in Obama’s mother’s passport he is listed under the last name Soebarkah until August of 1969 and that he was crossed out from her passport in 1969, when he got his Indonesian passport. His mother’s passport is an only verifiable official document that exists. It was verified with his mother’s signature under the penalty of perjury and the signature of the US consul in Jakarta
8. Remind them that they received from the US attorneys Wagner and Olsen a sworn affidavit of Jeffrey Stefan Coffman, retired Chief Investigator of the Special Investigations Unit of the US Coast guard and former special agentof the deparment of Homeland Security, Obama’s Selective Serive application is an altered document, a flagrant forgery. Without a valid Selective Service registration he is not allowed to work in the executive branch not as a U.S. President and not as a janitor.
9. Remind them that Connecticut Social Security number 042-68-4425, which he used in his tax returns while in the White House as late as 2009 and used in his Selective Service Certificate was never assigned to him according to E-verify and SSNVS. Anyone else would be going to prison just for that
10. Remind them that not one single judge ever heard this matter on the merits, not one single judge ever issued an order to compel production of his original documents: original birth certificate, original Selective Service Certificate and the original SS-5 application to CT SSN 042-68-4425, which he is using. Until this is heard on the merits and the original documents are produced, this is not Res Judicata.
10. Remind that that allowing a foreign national with all forged IDs in the WH in the position of the US President and Commander in Chief in control of our nuclear arsenal is treason. Remind them that if they do not go on the record and demand immediate Congressional investigation of Obama’s use of forged IDs, they will be tried by “We, The People of the United States of America” for treason and considering the most egregious nature of the crime, the death penalty is the most appropriate punishment. Maybe that will grab their attention and will wake them up. I do not know how many millions were paid off to corrupt congressmen, officials and judges, but I know one thing, no amount of money is worth hanging for treason.

Good morning all. Have any of you read UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES by John Ross? It came out back in 1995 or 1996. (You can download a PDF file of the book at zjstech.net.) I borrowed it from a friend back then when I was an active member of the JPFO and the NRA. It is a great novel and may turn out to be prophetic.
The story is about a revolution in the US because of a government that tries to destroy the 2nd Amendment. Ross includes a lot of historical information and information about guns. The story and characters are well developed. Would highly recommend reading this. I’m going to get my own copy now. At Amazon, they seem to be really expensive. Apparently there aren’t that many copies in circulation. But you can read the PDF version on line.
Ross makes the point at the beginning of his book that if you try to take away a people’s freedom and dignity and rub their noses in it, there will be unintended consequences.
By the way, my wife told me there were a lot of people in front of a post office in a town in Northern California where we shop. There was a table set up and they were taking signatures. We’re going to add ours today. There was a big picture of the Prez, to which a Hitler mustache and been drawn. The heading: IMPEACH OBAMA! Lots of people lined up to sign the petition.
