William Cellini trial jury selection, October 3, 2011, Tony Rezko status hearing, Rezko witness?

The jury selection process begins in the William Cellini trial today, Monday, October 3, 2011. Even though he was convicted in June of 2008 and not yet sentenced, there is no indication that Tony Rezko will be called as a witness despite the fact that his name is mentioned throughout the Cellini Indictment. Rezko has a status hearing scheduled today as well.

I really hadn’t followed all the rezko stuff as i have been preocupied with bc and ssn issues. But, i’ve begun to look more closely at the posts on rezko and the goings on in chicago and it is just so sad that everything, including the prosecutors, are so entirely corrupt.
There is litterally nothing more important to the vast majority of our country than protecting obama from being found out and dealt with for his crimes.
Nothing! It is the highest priority in their lives.

Did anybody else see Hank Jr. compare Obama to Hitler (or something like that) on Fox and Friends this Morning?
yo – Truth, Honesty, Integrity and GOD seemed to have been abandoned in this once great country. I pray that it can be restored before it is too late.
I followed the trial of Tony Rezko over 3 years ago and without the testimony of Rezko himself in the Cellini trial, the prosecution will have great difficulty and credibility problems with the jury. The testimony of Stuart Levine was torn apart by Joe Duffy (defense attorney for Tony Rezko), Levine testified in regards to his drug use that he had gone “cold turkey” after his arrest only to admit under cross by the defense that he had “used” a couple of times after that…He admitted using meth, crack, cocaine, ketamine and other drugs for over 30 years spending over a million dollars between 2000 and 2004…IF Judge Zagel grants the prosecutions request to leave out the “irrelevant” past of Stuart Levine the Cellini defense will have strong grounds for a mistrial…Also, it is important to note that Tony Rezko was not found guilty on charges related to Rosenberg and Cellini…
Tony Rezko and Barack Obama are at the middle of ALL the corruption that occurred in Chicago…..
Without input from BOTH of these CRIMINALS, any attempt to try anyone on the fringes will go unpunished.
There is an ancient saying, “to kill the lion, you must cut off his head, not step on his toes”. Fitzpatrick has been dancing around the real criminals.

I don’t think anyone can argue the fact that Newt Gingrich has the largest “political footprint” than any other candidate. He is an historian, an excellent speaker (no pun intended) and debater. They say he comes with a lot of baggage, who, I might ask, doesn’t????. He seems to stand out in every debate, yet is consistently ignored in the polls. He has recently moved up to 4th place in some polls and just unveiled his 21st century “Contract with America.” He spoke about it briefly last week and his ideas are just basic, common sense approaches to current problems.

(Oct. 2, 2011) — Team Obama has done a magnificent job of dividing the opposition and distracting attention away from the greatest Constitutional Crisis in American history by keeping his opponents arguing over the correct definition of Natural Born Citizen as the fraud continues in the people’s White House.
But the debate is long over, for two reasons…
1) There are only three potential definitions for Natural Born Citizen of the United States and Obama cannot meet any of the three.
2) The actual definition is easily found and proven beyond any reasonable doubt
Ninety-nine members of the US Senate got it exactly right regarding John McCain during the 2008 challenge of McCain’s presidential campaign. McCain being the only non-voting member of the Senate on Resolution 511, every other member of the Senate agreed on the definition of Natural Born Citizen, including Sen. He said something to the fact that the golf game (between Obama and Bohner) was totally absurd…He insinuated that it was a farce and they were NOT political allies. He compared it to Hitler golfing with Netanyahu. At the end of the interview, Gretchen put a disclaimer out that the statement he made was not the view at Fox.

Tony Rezko’s sentencing date has moved again.
Today, U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve set the convicted businessman’s new date for Nov. 22.
It was supposed to happen Oct. 21.
Prosecutors said with the trial of Springfield businessman William Cellini beginning today, they could bump right into Rezko’s sentencing. Prosecutors did not want to be in the position where Cellini’s jury could be deliberating and big news comes out of Rezko’s sentencing.
Rezko, a Blagojevich adviser and fund-raiser, was convicted in 2008 of using his influence with the former governor to profit off of state deals. Cellini is accused of conspiring with state board member Stuart Levine, Rezko and the late Blagojevich adviser Christopher Kelly to extort a businessman seeking state business.
St. Eve asked for position papers on Rezko’s sentencing by Nov. 1st.
