Howard Coble lawsuit against Obama, Robert Bauer, US in Libya, Congressional authority, Coble’s office informed of Obama and Bauer

“Why has Obama, since taking the White House, used Justice Department Attorneys, at taxpayer expense,  to avoid presenting a legitimate birth certificate and college records?”…Citizen Wells and millions of concerned Americans

“Why did Obama make Robert F. Bauer, an attorney with Perkins Coie, who helped Obama keep his records hidden before taking control of the White House, part of his administration as White House Counsel?”…Citizen Wells

Howard Coble has joined a lawsuit against Obama and his actions in Libya. Once again Obama is being defended by Robert Bauer.

From Citizen News June 16, 2011.

“Republican U.S. Reps. Walter Jones of Farmville and Howard Coble of Greensboro are among 10 House members suing the Obama administration over the U.S. involvement in Libya.

Jones and U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, an Ohio Democrat, led the effort to file suit in U.S. District Court on Wednesday. They accuse President Barack Obama of violating the Constitution by going to war without congressional authority. Also named in the suit is Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

“We may be in a lose-lose regardless of what we do,” Coble said in the release, “but I’m getting tired of funding money by the billions and then seeing our people come back either dead or disabled for life.””

“We are acting lawfully,” said Harold H. Koh, the State Department legal adviser, who expanded on the administration’s reasoning in a joint interview with the White House counsel, Robert Bauer.”

“ Mr. Bauer and Mr. Koh said that the 1980 memorandum remained in force, but that their legal argument was not invoking any constitutional challenge to bolster their interpretation of hostilities. ”

From Citizen News June 7, 2011.
“One of the attorneys, Robert Bauer, who helped Obama in 2008 and early 2009 keep his records hidden, worked for the firm of Perkins Coie. Bauer, since early 2009, has assisted Obama as White House Counsel.”

“Several months ago I made a series of at least 3 visits to one of Congressman Howard Coble’s NC offices. I shared my concerns about the Blagojevich trial, Obama’s corruption ties and the facts behind Obama’s birth certificate controversies. I prepared a summary and I was told it was forwarded to Coble’s DC office. I have received no response.

From the email sent to Howard Coble’s office:”

“On August 21, 2008, Philip J. Berg filed a lawsuit questioning Obama’s eligibility. My blog was one of the first to report this and I have had numerous conversations with Mr. Berg, a lifelong Democrat. More lawsuits were filed and a trend developed. Unlike John McCain, who when questioned about eligibility presented a legitimate birth certificate, Obama employed numerous private and government attorneys to avoid presenting a legitimate birth certificate and college records. One of those attorneys was Robert Bauer.”

“People like Glenn Beck have attacked “birthers” yet they have not asked the  simple question above. Where are our watchdogs? Where are our checks and balances?  Where is Howard Coble and Congress?

I let John Boehner have it when he misquoted the US Constitution. No one, including Howard Coble, a long time favorite of mine, is immune from scrutiny.”

  5. Orly has filed another motion, and it’s a train wreck.

This case sunk, should have listened to Mario…………………

  6. sorry,

  7. Romney and Bachmann are leading in the Rassmussen poll. They are the worst candidates because neither one will go after bo for his ineligibility. Romney will be just as bad as what we have now. Bachmann is not presidential material. She has no guts for standing up to obama and his crimes. She is not doing so while in congress. They are both a joke. How can we ever get rid of the usurper with that for choices?

  8. Congressman West Statement on the War Powers Resolution Deadline for Withdrawal of U.S. Armed Forces in Libya

(WASHINGTON)—- Congressman Allen West (FL-22) released this statement today regarding the Sunday deadline for President Barack Obama to withdraw U.S. forces from Libya:

“The War Powers Act is the law and the provisions are clear. At midnight on Sunday, it will be 90 days since President Obama informed the United States Congress of the introduction of American forces into Libya. Since the introduction of American forces, Congress has not declared war or enacted a specific authorization for the use of force. Without either of these actions, the 90 days have elapsed and troops need to be withdrawn.

Yesterday, the Obama Administration claimed our Armed Forces are not in ‘harm’s way.’ Further, the conflict in Libya does not require the approval of the United States Congress because there is ‘little risk’ to our Armed Forces. The President should realize that every time our American men and women are committed to military action, they are in harm’s way. It is an affront to the family members of the pilots flying in this conflict and supporting this mission to say that they have not been placed in harm’s way.

Since the opening hours of military action on March 19th, President Barack Obama has had no clear direction in Libya. The President has not defined the mission nor the end state of this conflict. Further, the President has not identified who the so-called rebels are that continue to receive millions of dollars of American support in terms of weapons, ammunition, and resources.

As a 22-year Army combat veteran, I can tell you from experience that successful mission completion is obtained by properly defining the mission- something President Obama has failed to do. We cannot continue this ‘mission creep’ kind of warfare.

President Barack Obama is in violation of the law – plain and simple – and he must be held accountable. We do not need to give the President any more time. Many Americans, myself included, still do not understand how America is benefitting from having forces in Libya in the first place. The very foundation of our Republic lies on the system of checks and balances, and as a Member of the United States Congress, I have a Constitutional obligation to ensure this system is upheld.

I hope that on the eve of the 90-day deadline, the President will either seek Congressional approval or halt all military actions in Libya. If the President does not take these steps, the United States Congress should hold hearings on the President’s violation of the War Powers Act. The Leadership should also move forward to eliminate funding for these military operations. Finally, the Leadership must hold the President accountable to the law in order to ensure the checks and balances that have been in place since the enactment of the War Powers Resolution are upheld. ”

  9. Ooooooooops!!

I posted a wrong link to the Allen West statement. I sent the above youtube Happy Birthday dance video to someone as a birthday joke earlier today. I guess I did a Weiner. Sorry. This is the Alan West link, I hope…….

“A radical leftist sidekick of Bill Bryan, aka “PJ Foggy,” who writes Internet comments typically supporting Bryan on pro-Obama extremist websites such as Politijab.com and Fogbow.com is Kurt Coleman, who posts under the username “Rikker.”

Among the claims by PJ Foggy and Rikker are that they have taken steps and have encouraged others to take steps to interfere with presidential eligibility litigation brought by attorney Orly Taitz and to abuse anti-Obama posters on Fox News host Greta Van Susteren’s blog.”

any R choice is better than BHO.

There are no eligibility candidates and won’t be any.

WND is in the pig pen now, I now see why this blog has avoided that path.

We have genuine crimes taking place in DC and Chicago by BHO and company, someone needs to keep the light on them.

    Thanks CW

  14. Why Palin and not BHO ?

    From John Kass today.
    ———————————————————————————————-
“With all the records being released from Obama’s time as a state senator from Chicago — and all of his connections to the convicted influence peddler Tony Rezko — we need help.

“So we’re looking for some help from readers to analyze, contextualize and research it all right alongside our reporters over the next several days. … We’re limiting this to just 100 spots for people who will work collaboratively in small teams to surface the most important information from the emails. … If you need inspiration before getting started …”

Except for the stuff about Rezko and Obama, the language above is similar to last week’s Washington Post call for readers to join in the Palin Hunt. And the New York Times issued a similar invitation.

It’s almost impossible to imagine the media calling for an Obama hunt because the journalists are too much in love.

  15. Citizen Wells,

We thank you for ALL you have done to bring the historical facts to light concerning every issue involving Obama. I know that I have sent your factual postings to many others (many times to Beck) as well as to the more “sympathetic” (very few) congressional representatives/senators. Someday, someone will have to take notice and bring the most corrupt and disastrous administration to justice. Time will tell…

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I am sure from the hearts of others. God bless.

    kaks, AZ
