“Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has uncovered documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that indicate officials at the FCC colluded with the leftist Free Press organization to publicly push a new plan to regulate the Internet under the FCC’s so-called “net neutrality” program. Judicial Watch obtained the documents pursuant to a December 27, 2010, Freedom of Information Act request.
In December 2010, the FCC voted 3-2 to advance its “net neutrality program.” This decision seems to fly in the face of an April, 2010 federal appeals court ruling that the FCC had exceeded its authority in seeking to regulate the Internet and enforce “net neutrality” rules.
The supporters of “net neutrality,” including Free Press, argue that high-speed Internet access is a “civil right,” and are recommending new government regulations to provide taxpayer-funded broadband Internet access to all populations, especially those deemed “underserved.” Opponents of “net neutrality” argue the program is designed to impose greater government control over the Internet and will result in less access, not more. Moreover, opponents of “net neutrality,” also dispute the claim that Internet access is a basic civil right protected by the U.S. Constitution.
Judicial Watch uncovered internal correspondence showing unusual coordination by some officials at the FCC and Free Press in pushing the “net neutrality” agenda in the run up to the controversial FCC vote in December:
•On November 2, 2010, Free Press Associate Outreach Director Misty Perez Truedson sent an email to John Giusti, Chief of Staff to FCC Commissioner Michael Copps asking if Copps would write an op-ed for the Albuquerque Journal in advance of a November 16 hearing on Internet access: “Would Commissioner Copps be interested in drafting an Op-ed in advance of the hearing? It’s a great way to get the word out and to spark conversations in advance of the event,” Truedson wrote. “We’re working on the op ed,” Giusti wrote back on November 9.”
“Free Press has deep ties to radical leftists and socialists. Robert McChesny, former editor of the socialist magazine Monthly Review, is the co-founder and president of Free Press. Kim Gandy, the Chairman of the Free Press Board of Directors, served as the President of the National Organization for Women from 2001-2009. Some of the conclusions (hopefully ) are a bit of a stretch, but the interview is a must hear for an articulate presentation of the facts. He is a bright person and does differentiate what the facts are and what his opinions are. I had not heard him before, although had read him, and he is compelling.

Back in the ’90’s when the House brought articles of impeachment against Clinton and yet the Republican Senate voted to retain him as president, I said then that someday the Repubs would pay a price for their failure to do what was right.
Maybe, just maybe, a Soetoro would not be in the W.H. today if the right decision had been made back then. Why? Because our resolve was greatly weakened for the forces of evil to gain greater foothold.
In any event, it appears that the same mindset prevails now. A very dangerous game is being played, imo.

Congress Not As Stupid As You Think
Here here! Congress, Senate, the judicial system, and the rest of the stinking sucking trash of politics are not stupid. They are simply protecting their investment. Did you ever ask why a person would spend anywhere from $1,000,0000 to one billion dollars to get elected to a job that pays only $100,000 to $450,000 a year? Any normal person could live very well for a life time on what these political whores spend to purchase their jobs.
Once they are elected their first, only and continual priority is to KEEP THEIR JOBS AT ANY PRICE. Even if that price means the betrayal of their own country, their oath, their constituents, or their mothers. Once again we the people have been screwed, blued, and tattooed. What difference to our politicians does it make it our government is a Republic, a Democracy, Communist, or dictatorship as long as they have their jobs and their benefits. I am convinced they simply think they see the direction America is heading and believe it is far easier to “go with the flow” than buck the current.
The only hope that “we the people” have is to put fear of loss of job through vote, recall, removal via indictment for derelict of duty (if we can find any honest AG’s), and public exposure for their betrayal of public trust. This must be done by creating our own systems of communications of ham radios, big email lists (soon they will be controlling the inter net), under ground news letters, word of mouth (be careful who you share info as some may report you to big sis Janet N.) signs, billboards, bumper stickers for the brave, and any other creative means we can to keep on getting out the facts. These elected liars must begin to fear “we the people”. Every politician who has been in office longer than one term should be voted out because he has been corrupted.

Although on a bit of a different subject, I’d urge everyone to write/contact their Congressmen as well as any newspapers that have Letters to the Editor sections and/or radio/TV stations to ask why they do not have coverage of the submission to the FBI by Donald Vogt of the criminal complaint about Obama’s document fraud – the White House Birth Certificate.
Should the FBI investigate this submission (made in both Honolulu and DC), it would be a VERY quick way to solidly prove Barkey is not a nbC if Kapiolani does not have an exactly matching real BC on file. After that the HI DOH could be investigated (but Barkey would already be in deep doo-doo).

I have to agree with what you say. His behavior is giving the impression that the effort to make as much as he can off of book sales is as important, or more so, than the substance of his findings. There are some things that really don’t add up, which is not to say that his investigations are unreliable.
