Constitution 101, Justice Scalia, Pay attention to the Constitution, Michele Bachmann class

“Why has Obama, for over 2 years, employed numerous private and government attorneys to avoid presenting a legitimate birth certificate and college records?”…Citizen Wells and millions of concerned Americans

From MinnPost.com January 24, 2011.

“Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia gave members of Congress what amounted to a largely uncontroversial lesson on the Constitution and Federalist Papers in a briefing this afternoon organized by Rep. Michele Bachmann.

“I told them to pay attention to the Constitution,” Scalia told MinnPost following the hourlong discussion, which included a short question and answer session between lawmakers and the Court’s most outspoken conservative jurist.

More than 50 members and staffers attended the “wonderful civil discussion,” which was closed to the press, Bachmann told reporters in a news conference afterwards. At least three Democrats were present, one of whom said the briefing was “incredibly useful” and non-partisan.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Democrat of Illinois, said Scalia told the members to get a hard copy of the Federalist Papers and keep it on their desks.

“You’re not going to like some of the things I have to say about the ability of Congress to limit the executive [branch],” Schakowsky said Scalia told them. Iowa Republican Steve King later told reporters that was in reference to Congress ceding authority to the executive in recent years, a practice King has frequently (and vocally) opposed.

King said Scalia was “very careful to not address subject matter that may come before the Court.” That includes the recently-passed health reform law, which is being challenged in several federal courts and is expected to be appealed to the Supreme Court.”

  2. How to give the Kenyan FRAUD low ratings tonight? Shut off your tv! 🙂 You will see parts of it over and over with the so called media praising their leader! UCK! Myself I will not be watching news channels for a few days. Can’t stand the FRAUD!

  3. BO committed fraud when he had his forged COLB posted on the internet and falsely alleged that his Long Form BC was on file in Hawaii. BO should be immediately indicted for fraud.

Contact your congressman, senators, County Sheriff, DA, State Legislators, Governor, and County Grand Jury Foreman and demand that they indict and prosecute BO and all his local co-conspirators for the Birth Document Forgeries and Fraud.

Seriously important question that may be a key to resolving the “situation”.

It is widely known that some of us think that CGJ’s are an unworkable idea and a diversion and dilution from the main point of attack. Further, that the suggestion that citizens (amateurs) do these things is dangerous.

Now, here is the key question. You answer first and then I will give you my answer.

Knowing that to be the case, FS posts and posts and drums and drums and pounds and pounds on this MULTIPLE TIMES every day. Do you think he is “baiting” us?

Thank you for your considered opinion.

But I think an equally valid counter opinion is that none of this applies to a popularly elected sitting president. And even if it applied “in theory”, I don’t think that at a practical level, any prosecutor would attempt it.

I think that focusing on more clear cut actions such as voter fraud and identity theft would have more legs. However, I still think it is improbable that either of these will be addressed during his tenure.

Also, we all need to remember, and the next president can pardon him of anything and everything. And in the interest of domestic tranquility and international stability – I think either a Democrat or Republican president is highly likely to do that.

  17. http://www.thepostemail.com/2011/01/25/republican-and-marxist-date-night-in-d-c/

Embarrassing to all of us who elected them, many Republicans–as if hearing the pipes calling from their master in Hamelin–almost immediately agreed to do the bidding of the Marxist Party. The obvious problem, of course, is that US Marxist Party dear leader Obama will deliver a political speech to which the Marxists will jump to their feet–multiple times–in wild applause. The Republicans–sitting next to them–will literally be overshadowed and “over-shouted.” Question: Is there something in the Washington D.C. water that immediately emasculates males–but, only Republican men?

    The Birther Trial Balloon

    http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/01/the_birther_trial_balloon.html

Is anyone really surprised that Hawaii’s new governor, Neil Abercrombie, was unable to produce the promised Obama long-form birth certificate? No matter how Abercrombie’s words are parsed or interpreted or spun, the fact is that there is no new evidence — just a story about a supposedly well-intentioned but bungling Hawaiian governor, prohibited from access to the certificate because of Hawaii’s privacy laws, who must cease the search before he finds himself labeled another “vexatious requester.”
    snip…
Whether we like it or not, the birther trial balloon has been launched. Conservatives must now decide whether keeping it aloft, with a concerted effort to control which way it drifts, will help them win in 2012.

    ********************************
I don’t know the real reason for the multiple postings of the same material, but it may be due to a way of thinking that pounding in the same info is beneficial in some way. To us, it is redundant to the point of disgust, but he doesn’t see it that way and will probably never.

After being a silent reader here for a couple of days, I remember at one or more times he has reminded us that he, as an attorney, is used to being aggressive – a fighter in the courtroom. Now we all know that being in a courtroom and posting on a public blog are two different things, but I don’t think that he knows it, or at least it is not evident.

Also, he is, no doubt, a very stubborn guy in his private life, so that carries over here, too. This type of person will do or say anything to maintain and protect that “position.” I doubt if there is really anything that one can do or say to change that reality, regardless of how obnoxious it can be.

An approach that is probably the most charitable and the most realistic, is to know that sometimes as we go through life, we expect more from others than they are able to give. This has happened to me over the years, and the sooner I realize that fact, the better I can handle the problem.

A good friend reminded me at one time, “Our expectations are what get us into trouble.” To repeat, we simply expect more from some than they are able to give. They are not even on the same wave length, many times in certain areas. Not necessarily a lower position, but not the same. Does this mean that we should be silenced and withdraw into a cocoon? Absolutely not, but having this awareness does help to temper our frustrations .

Am I being fatalistic? I don’t think so. I am reminded from time to time of the quote, “Lord grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.” (St. Francis of Assisi) I am not suggesting that the “Serenity” part is any more important than the “Courage” part; however, I personally really need to concentrate on the “Wisdom to know the difference.”

Roberts had previously questioned whether justices should continue attending the annual event, likening it to a “political pep rally.”
He sat passively last year as Obama criticized a just-issued campaign finance ruling and drew a standing ovation from congressional Democrats.

Kathy Arberg, the Supreme Court’s spokeswoman, said that six justices are planning to attend tonight, though she wouldn’t specify which ones. Justice Samuel Alito is in Hawaii, and two other Republican-appointed justices, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, have strongly suggested in public comments that they won’t go.

    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/texas-perspective

Imagine that you (We The People) had the ultimate authority to determine what is and what is not Constitutional!

Nice thought, huh? You are in Great Company!

Thomas Jefferson’s response to the Alien and Sedition Acts with his and James Madison’s doctrine of nullification. Jefferson and Madison believed that states had the right to “nullify” federal laws that the citizens of the states believed were unconstitutional.

  27. This is from an e-mail written by Gary Kreep:

Since his Congressional power has been significantly diminished by the November election, Mr. Obama has already decided that he is going to try to rule by

    EXECUTIVE ORDER.
Yes, Executive Orders are unconstitutional, as they are simply interoffice memos from the “boss” of the Executive Branch to his employees. And, in precisely the same vein, “Secretarial Orders,” the new “under the radar slider” used by Mr. Obama’s department heads, are equally unconstitutional. Executive Orders and Secretarial Orders bypass the U.S. Congress, which Barack Obama no longer controls. Mr. Obama is determined to circumvent the United States Congress on issues that he cannot pursue through legislation—and, since all of his social progressive mandates are pretty much unconstitutional, he fully intends to operate as a Dictator, while he pretends to be a moderate, Constitutional, Democrat.

In spite of the fact that Barack Hussein Obama positions himself as a moderate, and fought to extend the George W. Bush tax cuts for two more years, don’t be fooled by who, or what he really is. He is a socialist. He is pro-Islamic, and he believes that he is “above” the law and the Constitution of the United States of America. Let him succeed in legislating by Executive Order, and his department heads by Secretarial Orders (a right they don’t even possess), and, somewhere, down the road, between now and the Election of 2012, he may just take away all of our Constitutional rights by Executive Order. And, when you say, “Nah, he couldn’t do that here because we are protected by a written Constitution,” remember this:

In 1934, the Weimar Republic was protected by a written Constitution that was just as powerful as the Constitution of the United States. The Weimar Constitution required the President and Chancellor of Germany go to the members of the Reichstag for authority to do anything. Once he was able to rule by decree, IT TOOK ADOLPH HITLER EXACTLY 39 DAYS TO DESTROY THE WEIMAR CONSTITUTION and become an absolute dictator—and assume the power of life and death over every subject in the THIRD REICH.

Think about that when you get ready to shrug your shoulders and dismiss the notion that Barack Hussein Obama is ready to RULE OVER YOU via Executive Orders! This permits him to go around around every Member of the U.S. Congress and legislate by decree.

I disagree with one thing in a fairly major way. I have spent a lot of time in courtrooms and I do not buy the “aggressive lawyer” excuse. I have seen lawyers smacked down – hard – for far less. These kind of tactics are not allowed in a court room. I have not seen it in person, but I have seen it on TV for what it is worth – such behavior resulting in a little cooling off time (if you know what I mean) for contempt of court.

Not the multiple posting – the personal attacks.

I am going to give SSOO time to respond if she is still interesting in fixing this problem. Then I will state my answer to “the question”.

    ====================================

Let’s discuss this. One “definitive” conclusion they reach is that he won’t release the real certificate because it says Barry Soetoro on it.

I don’t get it. My reaction is – so what? Everybody knows that he was named Barry Soetoro for at least part of his life. What names end up on birth certificates often seem mysterious because of timeing of legal proceedings and/or other paperwork.

It would not seem any big deal or major gotcha to me that it would say that. The way adoptions and birth certificates interact and cross populate each other is also mysterious.

So, my feeling is that the hillbuzz insight is not IT. There must be something even worse.

Let’s discuss this. One “definitive” conclusion they reach is that he won’t release the real certificate because it says Barry Soetoro on it.
    ***********************************
I agree that the fact that his name was changed would not necessarily be a big deal, but my take on the thrust of the “revelation” is that people have been searching the birth records for the” Obama” name and have not tried to find it under” Soetoro”. First of all, I don’t know that to be a fact. If OldSalt were here he could answer that, i.e., was a search made for “Soetoro”? Anway, even if one under “Soetoro” were to be found, wouldn’t it be “unavailable” to the public?

Your points are very good. About Malcolm X being the real father? Actually I tend to agree with that possibility. As far as Obama’s book, “Dreams from My Father” and the narrative stating Obama Sr. to be his father, I believe that it is entirely possible the “plan” was to create an identity for this soon-to-be “rising star”, so how can we believe much of what is in his books unless it can be authenticated from independent sources? Just a few thoughts.

I have a VERY IMPORTANT and VERY SERIOUS question for you. It is the nature of a poll, really. I would welcome your answers and anyone else who would like to participate.

    1. Should we encourage or discourage commenters here to post their opinions and theories and questions?

    2. Should we encourage or discourage commenters here to analyze, critique, or add counterpoint, to other’s opinions and theories?

    3. Should we encourage or discourage commenters here to blast other commenters, lie about them, misquote them, and call them names and disparaging adjectives?

    —————-

Here is my current sense from reading the various comments and responses recently – especially since SSOO began to try to help.

    1. Almost everybody says “encourage”, with some occasional reservations on WHO the commenter is. It is amazing that in spite of all the fawning over “freedom of speech” there are some who are unsure on this one.

    2. This one seems to be a head-scratcher for most. But it becomes much easier when you consider a totally logically equivalent proposition. Does the first poster of a comment/topic get to own that topic, be the authority on that topic, and be the sole beacon of truth on that topic?

    3. Amazingly enough there seem to be a sizable slice of commenters who think it is OK to do all these things. I had hoped that this one would be self-obvious and achieve a 100% score of “discourage”. Perhaps someone can further enlighten me on why this is the case.

  50. Cabby,
Thank you. I will add this to the image… all of this turmoil among us just serves to muddy the waters. We can’t attach those who chose to swim upstream and we can’t eat our own. Know what I mean?

    Some counterpoints:

As far as I know – and I know a lot – ALL searches for records have equally emphasized Obama AND Soetoro, and even other related names (i.e. dunham), and potential misspellings.

I may have posted a wrong like or otherwise been confusing, but I was referring to an assertion that MX might be her uncle or cousin or something.

Since you are opinionated (I mean that in a good way), perhaps you would like to take a crack at my two quizzes/polls on this thread.

  53. Carlyle, I am answering you one last time because I am not sure if you saw this on a different post. It will be the last time that I respond to you. Since that post, Cabby posted “Lord grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.” (St. Francis of Assisi) Right now I feel “serenity”. I tried a couple of days ago to have “courage”, now I’m hoping that this decision shows “wisdom” on my part.

Here is the post that I sent to you to explain why I was “done” with you. Not that it matters in the big scope of things.

  54. Cabby – AZ | January 25, 2011 at 2:28 pm |

    ==============================

PS – you touched on another topic which is vastly under considered. It may be THE KEY to the whole thing and yet we never talk about it.

No matter how you slice it, Zero was “groomed” for “something”. But that in turn raises a lot of second-level questions:

    1. Groomed for WHAT? May have multiple answers – as OR or as AND.

    2. Groomed by WHOM?

    3. Groomed WHEN?

    4. Groomed WHERE?

    5. Grommed WHY? – to what purpose, and why HIM? Why is he so special? I won’t tell you what we used to call people like him in Alabama when I was very young – let’s just say it was something like “well, he’s nothin’ but a common _ _ _ _ _ _!”. In modern politically correct speech, I with Michelle can say he is nothing more than a dressed-up common urban street hustler. In the end, I don’t care what color he is, and I hope everyone understands that it is irrelevant – what I care is that he is so common and such a punk. What would EVER motivate ANYONE to groom him?

I believe the answer to THAT mystery will crack the nut.

How can I be demented when I agree to ALL the terms of polite discussion and abhor bullying? How can that possibly be demented.

Are my questions to you demented? If you would answer them, you might grasp what is wrong here.

Your dementia (or insanity) lays with doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting different results. It’ tiresome. Not to mention your sanctimonious tonality and some of your verbiage, if not intended to get on people’s (mine) nerves, certainly does. Please leave me alone now. I can’t take this little “circle jerk” that you’ve created for yourself and others here.

  57. Carlyle,
Reality is that we now live in a world where up is down and down is up. We are all throwing ideas at the wall in attempt to give meaning to chaos. No one knows what is behind the wall, but we can’t tear it down alone. Every stone makes a chip if we throw it at the wall and not each other. One can call me out, debate me on theory, or debate me with facts… but don’t put up invisible shields of ridicule and political correctness. Sadly, not everyone is aimed at the wall, many here are aimed at eachother. That will never change. We can only do our part in chipping away at the wall and dodging incoming rocks.

  58. Prairie | January 25, 2011 at 2:59 pm |

Prairie, the only reality that I see is Carlyle asking FS to take some b.s. pledge a thousand times a day, accompanied with long diatribes regarding CW banning FS. So we have somebody, requesting things that are never going to happen, sounding like a broken record. It’s disrespectful to the other people on the blog who want to discuss the current issues of our day. It’s mostly disrespectful to CW who has made a decision as to how he wants to manage his blog with respect to censorship. The other day I tried to help, as I also pointed out FS flaws, but some people have f.cking wax in their ears. So I’m doing my part not to “feed the trolls”.

  59. Paxon,
Agreed. Distraction gives power to our enemy. It serves no purpose and provides cover.

  60. Paxson | January 25, 2011 at 2:11 pm |
Thanks Cabby. This about sums it up and I need it today.

You’re welcome, and I needed it also – more than you’ll ever know.

  61. Prairie | January 25, 2011 at 2:39 pm |
Good advice and “food” for thought!

  62. Carlyle 2:39 PM
I may have posted a wrong like or otherwise been confusing, but I was referring to an assertion that MX might be her uncle or cousin or something.
    ******************
Oh, yes, I remember that article does go “deeper” than X being a father. I don’t know what to believe about that. Also, you are more “on top” of the details of the certificate search than I, so we would be right back to square one – i.e., that this latest “revelation” does not, perhaps, hold the water that the writer believes.

Your 2:52 PM post has a lot of thought-provoking posers. They are great, but my short answer to most of them, “I don’t really KNOW.” I have ideas whirling around in the gray matter, but corralling them to reduce to “paper” is out of my reach right now. It is lunchtime. 🙂

  63. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/19/justice-antonin-scalia-state-union-juvenile-spectacle_n_785927.html

WASHINGTON — In remarks to the conservative Federalist Society on Thursday night, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia decried the “juvenile spectacle” that is now the State of the Union address, saying he believes it is inappropriate for justices to attend the annual tradition.

Comparing the gatherings to “cheerleading sessions,” Scalia said

  64. Prairie, BTW, I did take the time to google re. slush funds and appreciate your directing me to do so. Before, I was basing my response on the “white hat” info solely. It is interesting and I am not closing my mind to it at all. I am awaiting and looking for more on this subject.

  65. Cabby,
I am digging too. One thing is for sure, the bc is a leverage tool for something much bigger. There is an epic battle behind the scenes we don’t yet realize the magnitude of… while I get the feeling America is the prize.

  66. Prairie – 3:47 PM
“……while I get the feeling America is the prize.”
    *****************************************
Oh, I believe that definitely! After all, those who are pushing for global governance must first bring down the U.S. to the proper “level” in order
to fully implement their objectives. That is just my opinion, for whatever it’s worth.

  67. Prairie | January 25, 2011 at 2:59 pm |

Sadly, not everyone is aimed at the wall, many here are aimed at eachother. That will never change.

    ===============================

I strongly believe it CAN be changed. Even if CW won’t do anything about it, each and every one of us can callout bullying when it occurs. With enough immediate “feedbacks” it can stop.

It is like playground bullies. It will not stop if not confronted. In fact it will get worse. And nobody is immune. We need to stand together against it. It CAN be stopped.

  68. Paxson | January 25, 2011 at 3:06 pm |

    Prairie | January 25, 2011 at 2:59 pm |

    ==============================

You have several misconceptions that need to be cleared up.

    1. “The pledge” is not BS. It is a simple agreement to stop the bullying.

    2. I have never asked, even once, for CW to exclude FS based on his opinions. I simply believe that there needs to be some penalty for Bullying. Even a simple statement from CW that “bullying will not be tolerated on this blog” would be sufficient. On the other hand, FS repeatedly requests my banning because he disagrees with my opinions.

    3. Then in regards my attitude. Sometime it sheds light on a situation to consider a more extreme case of the same thing. This often adds clarity. If person A were raping someone, and person B were not – would you despise person B for feeling all smug and superior? Yes, I freely admit – I feel smug and superior – by a long ways – to ANY bully.

    4. Finally, I would respectfully suggest you check in with somebody you respect like Cabby AZ or maybe she will just volunteer information. I do not presume to think that she agrees with every tactic or every word I have written, but I have 100% trust she will agree with the following:

    a. Carlyle is not demented.

    b. Carlyle is not the cause of this problem.

    c. As was demonstrated clearly a few weeks ago, Carlyle is not even the pot stirrer.

    d. This problem will not go away by simply ignoring it. Something needs to be done. None of you are immune.

    e. There is strength in numbers – we – all of us together – can solve this problem. I am willing to take and give the most shots, but I need some moral support here if you want the bullying to stop.

  69. Carlyle,
That would be nice, but the stakes are too high. I believe it is far more than bully behavior… it is purposeful infiltration and misdirection. It does not bend to the normal rules of civil discussion. It is not a temper tantrum- it is a tactic.

  70. Prairie | January 25, 2011 at 4:31 pm |

It is not a temper tantrum- it is a tactic.
    **********************************
I’m smiling, Prairie, because there have been some things we have disagreed on in the past, civilly, of course; but today we have been on the same page…in many ways. Your above statement is one of them. I, too, suspect that this is some sort of tactical ploy, and, if so, then we have, perhaps a worse problem.

  71. Carlyle, I was just about to tell you that I felt a little guilty as though I had gone too far. You see, I am not a mean person. But your mind is looking for some sort of resolution that you are never going to get and it is just plain insane to keep on requesting it at the detriment to our blog.

It is my opinion that you need to be ignored until you either do some time on the couch with your therapist or rearrange your needs that you require from this blog to fulfill you own sense of self satisfaction. There is something wrong with the way that you can’t let this rest. We are not here for your feelings. I know that sounds harsh, but you are going to have to get over it.

  72. Paxson | January 25, 2011 at 4:55 pm |

    ===============================

Why do you have a hard time accepting it is not about ME? Do you remember that I left here never to come back? If I get fed up enough with crap against ME, at some point I just walk away.

I came back solely because I saw people I honored and respected – actual honest seekers and patriots – being sorely abused. When I was here I had been something of a lightening rod to deflect some of the venom to me and not them. Also, I felt I had given up too early and may have had better success if I had not weaseled out.

I came back for the sole and express purpose of grabbing the problem and destroying the problem.

I find it disheartening that so many people don’t understand or appreciate this. That is why I became alarmed the other day about you’re wanting to just fold and/or appease. That is how Hitler got STRONGER. People hoped if they ignored him he would calm down or go away. Bullies don’t work like that. They get stronger with the submission of their victims. They feed on submission.

I am very sorry you feel somehow the situation is my fault. I am here to help. Do you want me to help protect you all from abuse or do you want me to go away?

  73. Carlyle, “Do you want me to help protect you all from abuse or do you want me to go away?”

I personally just want you to stop moaning. It’s ridiculous and distracting.

  74. Carlyle 4:29 PM
Finally, I would respectfully suggest you check in with somebody you respect like Cabby AZ or maybe she will just volunteer information.

I am truly in agreement with your points “a” through “e”. It is absolutely off the wall to consider you to be demented, a pot-stirrer, or the cause of the problem. Actually, you are one of the brightest, most well-reasoned, and tolerant (yes, tolerant, as I have observed that you will turn right around after being vilified and give a complement to FS on one of his posts.) If you were mean-spirited, you wouldn’t be doing THAT.

As far as this problem going away, it will not. We have observed this over a number of months and after a series of flare ups. Like the proverbial “bad penny”, it always returns, and often in greater force. As I said in another post, there are just enough folks who try their best to “help” by playing up to him or “smoothing” things over. It does no real good, over the long haul, unfortunately. In fact, it seems to only pad the ego.

Frankly, it will take more unified effort, but I am not sure that can be accomplished. Furthermore, we could be dealing with an intentional effort to disrupt this blog, as Prairie has suggested. There are others who feel the same way. I don’t know what the answer is, except to react as the “plays” are made and hope for the best.

  75. I said that he had a “dementia”, not the he was “demented”. The “dementia” that he has on this particular topic lays in his repetition in asking for something that CW says is never going to happen. Another thing, I can’t believe that I’ve gotten myself caught up on this another day. It’s ridiculous. THE MOANING IS UNBEARABLE. Worse than FS’s repetitions, which CW appears to be o.k. with. So what do you want? To make everybody elses lives unbearable? Thanks guys. It reminds me of my child who wants something and I say “no” and then they ask several thousand times more. Thanks for disturbing the peace on another day.

    de·men·tia (dĭ-mĕnˈshə)

    noun
1.Madness; insanity. See Synonyms at insanity.

    =================================

You don’t know how much I appreciate that. You may or may not be right about being able to stop it. We will see.

Contrary to accusations, I do not REALLY want to see FS booted. But for the life of me I cannot understand why CW is unwilling to simply say NO ATTACKS, NO BULLYING. Why is that hard? And it might actually help. FS seems to fly under the flag that he somehow has special protection from CW – so he can do anything he wants with impunity.

It is also VERY discouraging when people gripe when you are trying to help them. But I could even get over that. It is when people suggest that somehow FS and I are co-equal and we just need to duke it out – that breaks my heart. It is almost enough to make one suicidal. Why would “they” do that to me? People are of course free to critique my tactics and words, but to criticize my motives or to suggest that I am a co-equal part of the problem, or worse – is mind-boggling and mind-blowing.

ON THE OTHER HAND – FS has been very quiet today – in regards attacks and bullying. Is it too much to hope that, without admitting any error, he has just quietly decided to lay off the crap? Wouldn’t that be a swell ending? Win win for everybody.

  77. Paxson | January 25, 2011 at 6:46 pm |

    =============================

Whatever you call the words – it is NOT me-centered – but part of a grand plan to solve this problem. I am sorry that you do not wish to be helped. I hope that I am a big enough person that when your turn comes, I will forget that you ridiculed me and that I will come to your aid.

  78. Carlyle 6:54 PM
It is when people suggest that somehow FS and I are co-equal and we just need to duke it out – that breaks my heart.

Frankly, I see the above attitude by some as an out cropping of a very shallow approach. It is certainly not a well-thought out response, imo. It’s like, hurry up and get this over — get- it- out- of- my- hair – attitude, without a careful analysis of what is exactly involved. That type of approach is partially why we are now in the national mess we are experiencing, starting several decades ago.

  79. SeriouslySickOfObama | January 25, 2011 at 7:04 pm | In my opinion, Free Speech was acting as an activists and thought posting over and over would make others want to join the cause and do something about it. Free Speech was not aware his numerous posts were costing CW money with bandwidth until I pointed that out, so he has agreed to stop that. I don’t believe he was baiting you in a way to piss anyone off, I believe he thinks most people rather blog about it then take action and do something about it. Free Speech did use words that in his responses that are words he uses in his own way of speaking to anyone such as nonsense, BS and after I ask him to use other words bc some people are offended by that, he did in fact stop. But, you are just as guilty with posting the same thing about the pledge and costing CW money with bandwidth, but you don’t see you are doing the same thing. Since I have spoken to FS, he has stopped his numerous posts, but you have not with the pledge idea. I do not want to offend you, but if you followed me around with that I would consider it cyber bullying. If you address someone that is doing something and showing them the reason they should not do what they are doing, such as bandwidth cost, names that others find offensive and then they do not stop, the CW should email them, address it with them in private and not PUBLIC LASHING of who is right or who is wrong. It is my opinion you were both wrong and now that FS is aware of how to speak to others or ignore comments he disagrees with, it should calm down the blog unless you, Carlyle keep on with the with posting what FS post. You were both wrong, IMHO!

    —————————————
Thanks for your suggestions, SSOB. It is so much easier simply to IGNORE. Then I don’t even have to bother with typing NONSENSE. LOL!

  80. Cabby – AZ | January 25, 2011 at 7:09 pm |

    ============================

Exactly. But let’s drop it now and move forward. SSOO finally extracted a non-pledge pledge from everybody. So let’s see how long we can make it last.

  81. Insanity.
