Greg Goss, a long time commenter, has come forward as a witness to a possible second missile being fired the next day after the mystery missile was caught on video. Greg also provided a link to the clearest video of the first missile firing. This video reveals a helicopter.
“I happened to be San Diego when all this happened. This is the best video of the missile. Notice at about 10 sec in you clearly see a Marine helicopter enter the screen from the right. This give perfect perspective for the direction of the contrail. UP

“Then at approximately the same time on the following day I witnessed a second missile. I saw the second ICBM while driving down I15. The sky was clear and from the southern sky I saw what was not a plane. It was heading due north and as it was directly over San Diego it took an 80 degree turn to the west to a heading of approximately 170 degrees. (West, North West) Ascending as it traveled faster than any aircraft I have ever seen. At the same time was a women on the radio trying to describe what I was witnessing. If it maintained it’s current trajectory it was heading directly toward Moscow.
Where did it go? Why were no jets scrambled from base that this thing flew over? Why not one news account except a near by traffic copter that happened to see the first missile? Why was there not one commercial aircraft to be seen anywhere? If I wasn’t out here I would never believe any of this. And coincidentally the entire executive branch is out of the country….hmmm”
A further email query from Greg yielded this response.
“The second “object” that I saw I could not determine it to be a plane as I saw no wings. All I could see was that it was cone shaped, like a missile. The contrail was unusually large and only a single trail unlike a plane that would have two or four trails that would merge into one. It was moving extremely fast. It went from a position over San Diego to a position over what I would estimate to be Los Angeles in a matter of about one to one and half minutes and ascending. I did not have a camera with me.
I was listening to KOGO talk radio and after this thing was out of my view I heard a women call in, as they were talking about the missile from the day before, and she described what I saw, although not as well but I sure knew what she was talking about. When I got back to the hotel I called up a map of the area. It would appear to me judging by the trajectory I witnessed that this missile was launched off the western coast of Mexico and hugged the coast line probably leaving the coast line around Santa Barbara. I saw no reports of the this second event anywhere. I also checked flight paths of commercial aircraft and I found no route that this object traveled.”

I noticed some more Youtube videos referring to a possible second missile. I will leave it to the reader to draw their own conclusions. I have upped this in importance due to the response or lack thereof we got from the US Government and the times that we live in.

This is just a little off-subject but nevertheless, here goes:
About 4 years ago I lived in West Virginia, about 20 minutes from Charleston the capital. I decides to fly to upper New York state to buy a car and drive it back to WV. So, I bought a one way ticket to NY.
Upon going through the security area at the airport, I was treated like a common criminal. At the ticket counter, five red stars were placed on my ticket. I ask the person at the counter what that was and what it meant. She said, nothing to worry about just added security measures…so far, so good.
I was carrying my daughters laptop computer so I could check my email while in New York. After walking through the medal detector, I was told to go over to an area and sit there, someone would come over later. I ask why should I have to do that. the response was, additional security checks..
after about 45 minutes, a gruffty man came over and took my laptop..he said to check it…asking how any why a crack in the case. I told him I didn’t know, it was my daughter’s…he said he would have to open the case and inspect it..I told him if the computer wasn’t returned to me in a working condition, that he just bought himself a used computer…
By this time, I was getting just a little pissed off at the whole process. I was 70 years old then, was wearing my retired US Army baseball cap…all the time I was in this holding area, middle eastern looking men and women were walking right through with nothing but a medal detector check.
They took another machine and body searched me again. Then I had to put my hands into a machine, and the operator ask me, When was the last time you handled explosives?”
To which I replied, “Oh about thirty years ago!”
To which he replied, “Don’t get smart with me, just answer the questions!”
To which I fired back a reply, “I’m not getting smart with you, look at my damn baseball cap, what does it say? It says, “RETIRED US ARMY” I am a retired US Army officer, I live about 20 minutes from this airport, and I have answered that stupid question truefully!”
Now I have a question for you, “Why aren’t you checking some of these people coming through here with towels wrapped around their heads…do I look or act like a terrorist? ” It’s people that look like them who are blowing up the damn airplanes, not people looking like me”
I then said, “My plane is about 5 minutes from taking off…if I miss that plane, I will hold you responsible. Now give me my damn computer back and leave me the hell alone!” Needless to say I was one pissed off traveler that day, not so much for the harassment, but the fact that no one was checking the people who had the profile and looks of those committing terrorist acts.
I think everyone should BOYCOTT flying until the gay lady, Nopelatona is canned…she is the most INCOMPENTANT person obama has, (besides himself).

I have a little problem with what the person who was telling about the second missile . If it turned to a heading of North by Northwest it would be a heading over 270 degrees,(more like 300 degrees) not 170 degrees. A heading of 170 degrees would be South by East. He stated that it turned approximately 80 degrees to a heading of North by Northwest. This means that it would have been on a heading which numerically would have been greater than 270 degrees which is due West.

Oh, Free Speech, I could not agree more!! In fact, I’ve been thinking seriously about the relativity of the various crises we face and was thinking about publicly assessing them in exactly the way you have.
. There are many conditions over which we have little control (except to inform others) – e.g., as you say, the missile situation, plus the devaluing of the dollar, the actions of evil people like Soros, the continuing plunge toward global governance, the financial meltdowns in Europe, and on and on.
But to the contrary, there are a number of problems upon which we CAN exert a great deal of influence, and we should not miss those opportunities.
The thrust of my prior comment was meant only to remind all of us to be alert as to the usurper’s sleight of hand. It was NOT meant to make light of or discourage the action we can take, such as with the TSA matter.
My own thinking lately has been along the lines that I have only just so much strength and attention to give and need to apply them where they can make the most difference. BTW, yesterday I tried something different, at least for me.
I copied a picture (from Drudge – a TSA agent checking out a nun) which you have probably seen. I then pasted it on my word processor letterhead at the top and underneath composed a brief, urgent request to each of AZ’s two senators for mailing (snail mail), hoping that a picture would be worth a thousand words. It would be hard to do that for a large number, however.
oldsalt, I have never flown a plane or piloted a submarine but in my world of engineering East is 0 degrees making north 90 degrees. I am only trying to describe what I saw. Picking on weather I consider east 0 degrees or not does not take away from what I saw.

First I again say that I did not say you were wrong in your direction ASSESSMENT. I am only pointing out directions that are used by PILOTS ,and ship navigators, NORAD,and HAS BEEN IN USE FOR MANY CENTURIES.Also a missile travelling at mach 3 0r greater does NOT TURN ON A DIME. As for your directional assessments you are STILL WRONG. Perhaps you should not try to apply your sense of engineering to direction. That too is a mistake. You need to get a compass and take a look at it. If what you see painted on it upsets you,then by all means send the manufacturer a note that his engineering is incorrect. As for you just don’t try to take a boat out of a harbor or out of sight of land where you will need to rely upon your understanding of DIRECTION, and compass headings. Take your GPS along too. You will probably need it. That said it is easy to make a mistake when trying to get some idea of relative direction that an object is travelling. Especially when you only have a few seconds at best to determine it. Obviously a missile travelling at Mach 3 or faster isn’t going to stay around the neighborhood very long. Getting a good look at a missile in flight isn’t easy. By the way my step son just RETIRED from 20 years service in our nuclear submarines. He served on both BOOMERS and FAST TACS. He was a MISSILE TECH. 1/C.

A friend of mine sent me this about his TSA experience. He, unlike most of us, was coming back into the country from Afghanistan on a military charter.
Just read through some of the comments on the above article, and one stood out in BIG RED LETTERS: TSA is trying to provoke an incident.
Damn right they are. Push, push, and push the people enough so they snap, and when they do, move to crush them. That has been the plan all along. The liberal govv’t slimes need a reason to move on We The People. Everyone has their breaking point. And when some of us snap and do something overt, it’s Game On.
If January 20 comes, they will be out of power and will lose their opportunity to have it their way. So they must move before then.

Have you researched the 1961 Hawaiian newspapers? Does the Library of Congress hold copies of the Hawaiian newspapers from that era? It would be interesting to see if the Hawaiian newspapers actually DID publish the alleged date of Soetoro’s birth. Perhaps the LC has a copy on hand. For the Chinease to take the risk of firing a missile in our home waters is in fact a real provocation. I have a lot of questions regarding the presence of the sub being there to start with. Especially if they know there are US warships all over the surface directly above them. I would even go so far as to question whether or not China even yet has the capability to fire a missile from under water. The missile ,if actually fired could easily have originated from one of our own BOOMERS. It could easily have been prototype testing. Attempting to infiltrate a Naval training operation,would be extremely risky for any sub to attempt. I tend to think that if the missile was actually fired from underwater,it was probably fired for the purpose of evaluating it’s performance.
If the alleged sub was in fact a Chinease boat,it was probably a older diesel electric fleet boat. As such it is dependent on periodic surfacing to replenish the breathable oxygen. Both the Soviets,and the US have in the past actually engaged each other in a battles of wits. Whenever the sub is thought to be an older sub it is pretty much common knowledge that it doesn’t have the technology ON BOARD to maintain an adequate oxygen reoplenishment capability without needing to periodically surface. This means that it MUST surface at some point to replenish the OXYGEN supply . If a Chinese sub actually surfaced it was probably forced to surface resulting from the lack of OXYGEN. Our own surface war ships probably kept the sub under water until they were FORCED to surface,or face death.

To use illegals in our military forces is not a very smart thing for our government to do. In the heat of battle they could surrender to the enemy without reason,or justification,and would be very likely to tell the enemy anything they wanted to know. This could lead to a complete annihillation of a fighting force. There are also many other dangers that could come from using illegals in our military. I personally think that to use this as a pathway to citizenship shows very poor judgement on the part of our upper echelon brass, and even worse judgement on the part of our ALLEGED POTUS.

I agree that it shows poor judgement by all concerned – that is those responsible for proposing such a scheme.
I cannot see how they could even contemplate using illegals in the services. It does not make any sense at all. There is the question of divided loyalties.
If these were Mexican illegals, and if the USA went to war with Mexico where would their loyalty be? It would end up being an army/navy/marines/air force full of deserters if this was to happen.

I trade currencies a lot, and for the last week the dollar has strengthened, not weakened, since Bernacke’s announcement.
Simultaneously, China’s inflation has gone through the roof, because China has pegged their currency to the U.S. Dollar. What China has suddenly discovered, is that the U.S. Federal Reserve becomes China’s Federal Reserve also, when they keep their currency artificially low, so that all the world’s investment capital flows into China in search of quick profits.
This discovery has made them very unhappy, and this is the main reason for the current tensions. The tensions would be relieved if China would unpeg the Yuan from the dollar, something everyone thought they would do in 2008!
Until they do so, the tensions with China will increase!
Just across the wires (5:30 AM EST), China will raise reserve ratio by 50 basis points — the US Dollar jumped precipitously against the Euro for a few minutes, before correcting. The Euro is still stronger was the wrold waits for an announcement about Ireland and Portugal.
These kinds of a swings the the market could bankrupt an amateur.
