“UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE WEEKLY CLAIMS REPORT
SEASONALLY ADJUSTED DATA
In the week ending May 8, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 444,000, a decrease of 4,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 448,000. The 4-week moving average was 450,500, a decrease of 9,000 from the previous week’s revised average of 459,500.
The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 3.6 percent for the week ending May 1, unchanged from the prior week’s unrevised rate of 3.6 percent.
The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending May 1 was 4,627,000, an increase of 12,000 from the preceding week’s revised level of 4,615,000. The 4-week moving average was 4,639,500, a decrease of 14,750 from the preceding week’s revised average of 4,654,250.
The fiscal year-to-date average of seasonally adjusted weekly insured unemployment, which corresponds to the appropriated AWIU trigger, was 5.174 million.
UNADJUSTED DATA
The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 407,267 in the week ending May 8, an increase of 11,132 from the previous week. There were 570,412 initial claims in the comparable week in 2009.
The advance unadjusted insured unemployment rate was 3.5 percent during the week ending May 1, a decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the prior week. The advance unadjusted number for persons claiming UI benefits in state programs totaled 4,515,632, a decrease of 140,708 from the preceding week. A year earlier, the rate was 4.6 percent and the volume was 6,191,149.
Extended benefits were available in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin during the week ending April 24.
Initial claims for UI benefits by former Federal civilian employees totaled 1,300 in the week ending May 1, an increase of 86 from the prior week. There were 2,289 initial claims by newly discharged veterans, a decrease of 97 from the preceding week.
There were 18,944 former Federal civilian employees claiming UI benefits for the week ending April 24, a decrease of 267 from the previous week. Newly discharged veterans claiming benefits totaled 36,699, a decrease of 500 from the prior week.
States reported 5,137,385 persons claiming EUC (Emergency Unemployment Compensation) benefits for the week ending April 24, a decrease of 216,874 from the prior week. There were 2,156,516 claimants in the comparable week in 2009. EUC weekly claims include first, second, third, and fourth tier activity.
The highest insured unemployment rates in the week ending April 24 were in Alaska (6.6 percent), Puerto Rico (6.3), Oregon (5.8), Nevada (5.1), California (4.9), Pennsylvania (4.8), Wisconsin (4.8), Montana (4.7), North Carolina (4.6), Rhode Island (4.6), Connecticut (4.5), and Idaho (4.5).
The largest increases in initial claims for the week ending May 1 were in New York (+4,021), Kentucky (+1,015), Pennsylvania (+773), Illinois (+611), and Tennessee (+609), while the largest decreases were in California (-18,546), Massachusetts (-3,628), Indiana (-3,242), Michigan (-1,748), and Florida

When you add to that the fact that we have learned that he also has a ss# that is, in probability, fraudulently obtained, and that, after he was accused of fraud in a complaint to the illinois bar while he was running for president, he ‘voluntarily surrendered his law license’, and not one major media outlet will have a thing to do with investigating any of it, what more do we need to know to conclude that every single arm of the traditional power base of our society is colluding turn this country away from democracy and into a dictatorship?

Thanks for sharing this…seems the state officials in Hawaii should respect the requests coming in instead of ignoring them. Maybe the state officials should focus their full attention on creating a law demanding that all public-servants have to reveal their original birth records in good faith to the people they claim to represent when requested. I have ceased to discuss if RAP is real – apparently they are – they have phone calls, websites, issue various formal documents, serve subpoenas, etc., etc.
The next question is are they practical? i.e. does this thing have legs – is it legal – will it work, etc. I have stated my opinion on this before and it does no good to repeat it.
But to me, the remaining BIG question is: Do you WANT it to work? Prairie outlines some of the issues. But I have even a more fundamental question I raised several days ago and no one answered. Herewith:
Can it be this easy? We all wish for something effective and easy because we think we are Right and ‘they’ are Wrong. But turn the tables. Suppose one day we have a totally constitutional and righteous government. Do we want it to be easy for wrong/evil people to upend that? In other words, should it ever be possible for a small group of people to upend a government?
There is a very good analogy and similar situation. Many of us wish the government would crack down on (even expel?) Muslims. But you have to find a better excuse than ‘religion’, or even ‘religious extremism’. Why? Because if that were allowed or even possible, who is to say that YOUR religion might become next year’s out-of-favor religion? Or that your particular sacraments and observances are deemed to be ‘extreme’.
In everything we do, we need to think of unintended consequences. ‘What’s good for the goose is good for the gander’.

EAST HARLEM — “One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting Wednesday night in East Harlem, police said.
Thomas Kearse, 27, was shot in the chest and killed in the fourth floor hallway of 1952 Second Ave., between 101st and 102nd streets, police said. Another man, 22, was shot in the back.

Kearse was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Birther Obama Social Security Fraud Allegations Don’t Withstand Scrutiny
The Birthers who contest Barack Obama’s citizenship apparently have a new axe to grind, this time suggesting that the president’s Social Security number may be fraudulent.
The Parcbench blog notes that Obama’s Social Security number appears to have been issued out of Connecticut and was issued 2 years subsequent to the president’s first recorded employment.

But Parcbench discredits itself when it goes on to say that the Social Security number used by Barack Obama appears to have been recycled. Before Barack Obama obtained his Social Security number whose use was first recorded in Chicago in 1986, according to this report, it belonged to someone else. The problem with this claim is that it’s ludicrous on its face. Parcbench says Obama’s Social Security number was originally issued in 1890. The Social Security program did not exist in 1890. The number 1890 is a birthdate, not an issuance date, and it appears that Parcbench did not understand the records it cited to support its contention that the president was using a recycled security card.

“The West Harlem Local Development Corp., charged with managing the funds, has been mired in mismanagement.
MANHATTANVILLE — “Harlem residents have yet to see any of the $76 million Columbia University pledged as part of a community agreement related to its $6.3 billion planned expansion into West Harlem.
According to Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, Columbia’s September 2009 first payment of $500,000 has not yet reached the community because of internal mismanagement of the West Harlem Local Development Corp. (WHLDC), a nonprofit organization charged with negotiating the Community Benefit Agreement.
But leaders of the nonprofit, which is currently in the process of creating a successor entity called the WHDC that will be charged with managing the funds provided by Columbia University, say that they will put a transparent structure in place that will be able to appropriately manage the funds.”

Thanks Greg, that was what I remembered from last time because as you know they are trying to spin this SS issue already, therefore no one should be using that SS # up to and including the WON, and that is just one SS# among the many that they are sure he used as opposed to more but they weren’t sure if he used them or not-that group got put into the iffy department.

In all honesty I can’t keep from saying something here. Jacqlyn or someone connected with RAP has emphasized that” we should do unto others, as we would have them do unto us.” That is very good advice.
Now, if I were convinced of a plan and someone wanted to speak a word of warning or wisdom to me, I would want to accept it in the spirit it was given. I wouldn’t want them to “be nice” and not say anything. After all, their words might just help me, if not now, at some future date.
I just read a litany of all the “good things” which are supposed to happen relatively soon under RAP. “Shocking” is the word I would use, simply because you say, Jacqlyn, “that is what HE said..” Therefore, you ARE depending upon TT’s and other’s word! Has anyone done any independent verification??
For example, “Supreme Court is about to tell all courts that Common Law is the law of the land…
(must have an injured party)…”
Also, “Tax and Mortgage issues are going to be
addressed shortly…No more Income tax, Mortgages to be forgiven…(they were fraud anyway)… ” etc., etc.
Let’s take the last one – and use some reasoning.
If I have borrowed on my home and used the money for personal reasons, such as the use of a home equity loan, where is the fairness that I should not be held responsible for my debt??

don’t tell me to go study and listen, because early on I studied and researched enough to realize that this is a version of the sovereignty movement that has been going on for years and years. TT and others are capitalizing on it bigtime – just follow the money.

Prairie…..if you are talking about the bills passed by the US corporation then I would say you are right…..if you are talking about the RAP that is false…..you have every opportunity to read and find out exactly what the goals and accomplishments are going to be before ever signing anything….once I discovered the truth about this current government that the majority of Americans still buy into…..I then knew I had to support these people who are trying to restore our freedoms and rights…..sitting there and watching is not part of my belief system….I was never one to sit back and let others do all the work when I can be of help!

Among banks, regionals comprise the bulk of the TARP babies still being weaned off taxpayer dollars — banks like SunTrust (STI, Fortune 500) of Georgia ($4.9 billion) and Fifth Third (FITB, Fortune 500) of Ohio ($3.4 billion). Meanwhile, ProPublica reports on seriously ailing large community banks that are nevertheless receiving taxpayer money to survive.
With the election season here, leftist activists are turning up the heat on their conservative opponents in the Tea Party movement for failing to mount massive protests against Wall Street. After all, anger over the bailouts helped spur the original Tea Party protests, and a Politico poll of those attending the April 15 rally in Washington found that 66% remain “extremely angry” over the issue.
But I can understand the political motive behind the GOP strategy: Until and unless a more nuanced — and complex — story line emerges in the public mind about who is to blame for $536 billion in taxpayer money (so far) spilling out of the U.S. Treasury, Republicans — successfully painted by the White House as defenders of “Wall Street greed”– are going to need every ounce of cover they can get.

My State is just getting organized. We had our first conference call Tuesday night. We are going to meet next weekend. The Jury members have not been selected at this time. My State director is a 71 yr old man that sounds very intelligent and professional. We had a state FBI agent on the call. Due to obvious reasons he did not give his name, but he said he had check the RAP plan out and everything is legal that they are doing. My director said it would take 8-10 years to accomplish all the things we need to do. It has to start on the local level. They have got to seat jurors in every county of every state. He told us we would be shocked if we knew what was going to be happening. He was very upbeat and excited. He said our Governor has signed the declaration. I am very excited about this and can’t wait till we meet next weekend.

The research that had done was incredible. Years of work. This man mentioned some Congressional records and sure enough I looked them up and there it is in black and white. If you call to order a copy of the Constitution and you don’t ask for the organic version you won’t get that. You even have to pay more for that version, I can’t remember exactly how much.
I had no idea at the time who I was listening to or what would come of it. Now along comes RAP and they are talking about what I heard on that show. I have read everything they have referenced. They have the LAW on their side and all they want is America back.

People…. I just spoke to the leader of our tea party.. He said do NOT buy into this RAP stuff..At our next meeting, a young man who just retired from the Military and is NOW a member of The Oathkeepers will be speaking to us about the Constitution..We are going to question him about his knowledge of the RAP.

Greg, they will not stop spending with a mentality of a 6 year old and never having to accept personal responsibility….
the spending hasn’t slowed down—more federal jobs created and more to come–until this nation rises up and refuses to pay it—that means every worker will stay home for one/two weeks to prove business…this nation must absolutely halt production for anyone to notice.
My State is just getting organized. We had our first conference call Tuesday night. We are going to meet next weekend. The Jury members have not been selected at this time. My State director is a 71 yr old man that sounds very intelligent and professional. We had a state FBI agent on the call. Due to obvious reasons he did not give his name, but he said he had check the RAP plan out and everything is legal that they are doing. My director said it would take 8-10 years to accomplish all the things we need to do. It has to start on the local level. They have got to seat jurors in every county of every state. He told us we would be shocked if we knew what was going to be happening. He was very upbeat and excited. He said our Governor has signed the declaration. I am very excited about this and can’t wait till we meet next weekend.
Time to ‘pick’………

Due to obvious reasons(why not if he was there on official business checking out that it wasn’t one of those awful, troublesome, white-haired tea party group) he did not give his name, but he said he had check the RAP plan out and everything is legal(by whose standards and who gives FBI this authority?) that they are doing.

Greg……look at it from my perspective……I didn’t fall for O’s s**t, so, that shouild tell you I’m smarter than 53% of the populace……. it’s really hard for me to buy all this.
It’s just too dang far-fetched and my biggest question of all…..so many years in the planning——-why, oh dear God, why didn’t this plan begin waaay before 2008 election……
