One of the things that keeps me going when I am tired or discouraged is the memory of all those who sacrificed, suffered and died to give us the privilege to defend and save this country.

I thought you might appreciate this quote from him re the Revolution: “I go cheerfully, for I am sure the cause we are engaged in is just and the call I have to it is clear and the call of God.” He wrote this in his last letter to his wife. He died about a week later (illness) while preparing for battle with the English in Peekskill, NY. By the time of the Revolution, he was past the age of service, but volunteered nevertheless. And tho he was a commissioned officer, he was also very humble and fought as infantry, rather than step on anyone’s toes. He’s not well known now, but was considered quite the hero then. Evidently, because BHO Cohort Mayor Dean didn’t have the sense to get the Metro Buses out of the way of the Flood, Nashville lost 87 buses to Flood damage. That is 2/3’s (Two Thirds) of the entire Fleet.
Now Mayor Dean is begging other Cities to lend him buses. Supposedly 30 are on the way from Cincinati & Memphis.

But the Federal Government was only suppose to regulate interstate commerce, not interfere with the state soverignty. It seems to me the easiest way to end this is for the states to secede. What realy upset me about RAP was to hear them negotiating with foreign countries. .. I would love to get things back to where they should be. I just do NOT trust anyone if they include foreign countries in this….

I am so moved and inspired by this account of the Pomeroys, hearty souls who gave their lives in exchange for freedom for their families and their descendants. For them, duty had no age limit. I am so impressed with their bravery and their dedication to their new nation.
We reap the fruits of their sacrifices. May we never allow tyranny to supersede the government of, by, and for the people, for which they laid down their lives in valour and honor.

I don’t think you will need to worry about that….I think it will be going away but replaced with something like the US Treasury where the currency is actually backed by gold or something…..What I have been told is that the the way the Feds are surviving right now is off of the people’s bonds…..the governors bonds were arrested so they can’t get money from them…I can’t explain the bond business…..someone else will have to do that!!

Just let it go. Neither one of you are going to be able to convince the other one. Let it go and allow people to make their own decisions and stop the brow-beating. It all causes strife, and then who would listen after that? No one!

Honestly, I say this in kindness and am not trying to promote strife in any way, shape or form. Whatever a person does, allow that person to make their own decisions about things. I mean, Yahweh allows each of us to choose, he gives us the choice and does not force us. No one yet knows what tomorrow holds, do we? I have heard reports on the AGJ site that the seminars cost around $7,000. You can get your DNA tested and get a biometric ID as well. So, if one signs away their U.S. citizenship to become a sovereign person (I assume you can’t be both), do they loose all rights like fair trial and voting? Hmmm…

BHO Cohort Mayor Dean, knew that there was flooding in Nashville already. He is the mayor and it was his duty to think of the likelihood that the buses which were near the River would flood. He had plenty of time to move the buses, to the Fairgrounds which were not flooded but he didn’t have the sense to get the buses out of danger of the flood.

I’m sorry the people of Nashville have such an idiot for Mayor-he could have listened to the weather channel and/or moved the buses to high ground-prepare for the worst, but hope for the best. How long might that have taken anyway?
Yes – all – the 14th amendment is the key to everything. That is one reason I don’t get all lathered up (or all weeweed up, as the current saying is) about all these other things.
That was the single act that upended our constitution and way of life. And, indeed, it was never ratified properly.
The 14th is the main reason that when they teach Constitutional Law in universities, they don’t even read the constitution, they just study Supreme Court case law.
Prior to the 14th the constitution was all about what the Feds could or could not do. Since the 14th, the National Order has been inverted – and become a hierarchy with Feds at top and States underneath. The constitution is now applied to the states (legal term: incorporated against the states).
Originally, no state or individual could commit a constitutional offense, only the Feds. Now various states or individuals (or businesses) can get hauled into Federal court for not following some element of the constitution or violating someone’s rights.
That is why the Supreme Court has become the ultimate arbiter of Constitutional Law. (It makes no sense for the USSC to police the Feds – after all they are part of the Feds – but it sure makes a lot of sense for them to be the arm of the Feds that applies to constitution to everybody else.) How often do you see the Federal Government as a defendant on a USSC case? Not very often – defendants are usually some state or commercial entity or person who is accused of ‘violating the constitution’.
It’s even worse than that! Most Federal big wigs don’t even admit the constitution applies to the Feds (Nancy Pelosi: “Are you serious”?), they act as if it only applied to the states! Very specifically it has become (in common understanding and in USSC case law) as the hammer the Feds use to control the states rather than the other way around as intended.
Originally the Feds were the ONLY ones who could be a defendant because they were the only ones who were controlled by the constitution. The states were sovereign – they could do what they wanted – they were each controlled by their own legislatures, their own citizens, etc. – they were not beholden to the Federal Government in any way.
I want the 14th repealed. It is illegal and the Founding Fathers would have fainted. However, the entire current structure of the US, the entire Federal paradigm, the rule of the central government, all constitutional case law are based on the 14th. More so than you can possibly imagine – it is THE foundation of our current society.
I don’t know how to repeal this horrendous pile of garbage without totally imploding the country. It would be like pulling the key card in the foundation of the house of cards. We would be in economic ruin – and totally laid wide open to foreign invasion.
So I think TPTB will just say to learn to live with it – it is spilled milk – it cannot be undone. They may be right. SIGH.
Think on these things, dear ones. The truth will set you free.

That was true about Nagin, New Orleans came through the Hurricane really well, when those dykes broke then all holy H…broke loose. FL went through Hurricane Katrina too but I can’t remember if New Orleans got it first or we did-
Rita, Wilma, Katrina all a blur. One was so bad no power for a week in our neighborhood, trees down all over the place-some folks without power weeks, months etc. Lots of tornados too. We had 3 bad hurricane years back to back, the weirdest one was went from A-Z and into the Greek alphabet, so they sort of blend in our minds. Keep us informed about Nashville, everyone cares. How do the people look, tired, shell shocked, everybody in the neighborhood out working?, probably giant piles of things that have to be thrown out.

Drove around Downtown Nashville today. All the Flood water is gone. The only thing different that I noticed was most the business near the River have shut down, alot of FOR SALE & FOR Lease signs on Wharehouses.

The worst devastation is in the Neighborhoods particularly Bellevue which is near my home. Many people have lost everything they own. There was no way that they could have saved their homes. We have friends whose homes were flooded to the roofs, but people were killed because they went to bed believing what Mayor Dean and Serpas told them.
With thousands of people homeless and hungry I expect things to get very bad here by the end of the summer.
Here is a specific topic that will set your head spinning in regards the 14th amendment.
Gun Rights
In a landmark case, some months ago, the USSC made an important ruling. When the 2nd amendment says that gun rights shall not be infringed, it does indeed mean individuals and not just militias or other organizations.
Amazingly enough, until that ruling this topic had never made it to the USSC and had never been clarified. They came up with the right answer, but as you might guess in a 5:4 split decision. Just unbelievable.
Now we have a new case in the USSC right now that comes out of Chicago. This question is who specifically does the “not infringe” apply to?
Clearly the original intent was for the 2nd amendment to apply to the Feds. i.e. the Feds could not make any law infringing gun rights. The states could do whatever they wanted and the local governments and businesses could do whatever the state governments allowed them to do.
If you understand the terminology, please know as a fact that the 2nd amendment has never before been “incorporated against the states”. [As a result of the 14th amendment, the entire constitution (and bill of rights) did not get immediately incorporated in toto against the states – much USSC case law for the last 150+ years has been deciding just which bits get incorporated and how. But never until now has anybody gotten a case to like this on Gun Rights to the USSC.]
So, with that background, here is the head spinning dilemma:
1. As a states-rights activist, I would love to seem them flaunt the 14th amendment and say that the 2nd is not incorporated against the states and that they have the sovereignty to govern themselves in this matter.
2. As a gun-rights activist, I would like to see the USSC follow their own precedent and incorporate the 2nd amendment against the states – thereby preventing the states from enacting infringing restrictions.
The case has already been heard and is being deliberated now. The ruling is expected in mid June.

You have so much passion, and rightly so if this works. What I’m trying to tell you is this, y’all two are not going to agree. Please listen. I’m saying this because I’ve been on here a long time now off and on, and I hate to witness two people split up when they’re just always going to disagree RIGHT NOW. Maybe a time will come when that will not be the case. I surely hope so, and when it does, you can hug each other when that happens! You’ll both be on the better side of it and will make you both stronger, as it will hopefully the rest of us!

Look, Prairie has great qualities, such a wonderful poet, and I bet she loves this country too as much as we do. None of this country is the way that it should be, which it hasn’t been for a long, long time, but right now, it’s all that we have. I’d still rather live here right now than in Iran, wouldn’t you? I mean, it’s sick, sicker and sickest there.
I’ve personally witnessed third-world countries up close and personal, and take Egypt, the Arabs there treat their animals better than their women, and they beat their donkeys. So that shows me that we still have it good here. If you want oppression, go to a third-world country.
And I’m not trying to make light of what we’re going through here either. It’s not good, because this is America, for however long that it lasts.

Thanks Leo, I couldn’t figure out how people drowned in their cars in expressway traffic, all I could surmise was the water either came up real fast or they had no warning (in this day and age).
When the Region-all the folks on the Coast including New Orleans-involved several states-AL, MS more but I can’t remember. My brother is in construction and all supplies to FL were redirected to the Region (for the emergencies I imagine) until they could get a grip on the mess.
Hopefully much need cash will be raised for Nashville, no wonder they haven’t put this on the national news, a giant cover-up of stupidity. Are there enough bank owned homes, the folks could move into? As a flood victim myself the homes close to the river, I would not rebuild, but the people in Nashville would know much better what to do.

Case law can be overturned. So I don’t see the problem. We have 4 conservative Justices and Kennedy who swings to the conservative side. We just need to legally remove BHO & cohorts in congress before they pack the court with communists.
Amy comment points to the biggest concern about the 14th.
To answer another question (as the 14th and it’s ramification are something of a specialty of mine):
The 14th does not create anchor babies. That comes from bad immigration law. We have the power to fix the immigration law – unfortunately the whole topic of immigration reform is leaning in the wrong way – so it will be especially difficult to fix. Vote wisely, grasshopper.
The confusion comes from the direction of the combined 13th and 14th amendments to make citizens all that are born here. Clearly this was to address the slavery issue and to make instant citizens of all the slaves. Once that was done, there is no reason to perpetuate it.
You have to stretch the meaning of these amendments as thin as a 12″ gum bubble to believe that that provision was meant forever. Clearly there was no intent to make such a major revision (out of the blue) to immigration law – certainly not such a stupid change. You will not find one “original intent” document that says otherwise.
Yet, of course, unscrupulous sorts CLAIM that the 14th forces them to recognize anchor babies. Balderdash.
Article I, section 8, clause 4 of the United States Constitution expressly gives the United States Congress the power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization. The Immigration and Naturalization Act sets forth the legal requirements for the acquisition of, and divestiture from, citizenship of the United States.
The requirements have become more explicit since the ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, with the most recent changes to statutory law having been made by the United States Congress in 2001.

That’s what got us in Illinois a creek, which turned into a raging river, it affected about 20 towns. The river must have turned into a raging ocean. People who have not been through something like this cannot imagine, I know I had to experience it to understand it. Many New Orleans folks went to relatives and friends-lots here in FL, all people tried to help as best they could. If the CW stars raise heaps of money, maybe they will have enough cash to purchase bank owned homes, that is what the people really need, so you sleep on the floor for months-years in my case, but eventually you get so much stuff you have to start donating it to the Veterans, I love them they pick-up. My guess is that we now have a severe housing shortage in all of Middle Tennessee, i.e., not enough homes, bank owned or otherwise, and thanks to BHO banks are not lending for new home construction, so I think Nashville will just become a much smaller city fast as people pack up what little they have left and leave.

What you are refering to is called HYRDOLIC pressure. If water is against the outside of a foundation, and it is pumped out of the inside there is indeed a strong likelihood that the foundation will collapse. In truth the water outside must not only be gone but the soil needs to dry out for a few days as well. A civil engineer I know once told me that the hydrolic pressure on a foundation wall that is about 8′ high can go as high as 7 tons per each square inch of foundation surface. Really old foundations,and those constructed from concrete blocks are indeed at risk

The confusion comes from the direction of the combined 13th and 14th amendments to make citizens all that are born here. Clearly this was to address the slavery issue and to make instant citizens of all the slaves. Once that was done, there is no reason to perpetuate it.

I’ve seen polls as high as 75 per cent favor AZ, and many states are following AZs lead. I’m from the Chicago suburbs-illegal aliens were from every country you can imagine. The Mexicans were all natural born, they had lived there for many generations. When more people see the videos of these illegals acting so lawless and threatening besides rude with all the other obnoxious stunts that they have pulled that 75 per cent may go higher. I believe this will work to AZ’s advantage. I still think many of the illegals are a cover for drug smuggling and other criminal enterprises.

I had to look up the definitions for esquires at the time of the Constitution it was described as below. For lawyers it is just an honorific like the new designation MS as opposed to/MRS/MISS.

The original 13th says nothing about Lawyers or Esquires. It was intended to address Counts and Barons and that sort of thing.
There is serious business with this 13th and it deserves review and reconsideration and possibly restored to it’s rightful place. But ‘disinformation’ doesn’t help with that.

Don, I think that U.S. debt to China arose from the “balance of payments” deficiency. In other words, U.S. has bought more goods FROM China than China has bought from U.S. In other words, I become a debtor to a store from which I purchase goods (and don’t pay cash) just as much as if I borrowed cash. Between countries there is a running account that indicates who owes whom. The U.S. is hopelessly indebted to China, because we buy more from them than they do from us.

Lawyers admitted to the IBA received the rank “Esquire” — a “title of nobility”. “Esquire” was the principle title of nobility which the 13th Amendment sought to prohibit from the United States. Why? Because the loyalty of “Esquire” lawyers was suspect. Bankers and lawyers with an “Esquire” behind their names were agents of the monarchy, members of an organization whose principle purposes were political, not economic, and regarded with the same wariness that some people today reserve for members of the KGB or the CIA.
Article 1, Sect. 9 of the Constitution sought to prohibit the International Bar Association (or any other agency that granted titles of nobility) from operating in America. But the Constitution neglected to specify a penalty, so the prohibition was ignored, and agents of the monarchy continued to infiltrate and influence the government (as in the Jay Treaty and the US Bank charter incidents). Therefore, a “title of nobility” amendment that specified a penalty (loss of citizenship) was proposed in 1789, and again in 1810. The meaning of the amendment is seen in its intent to prohibit persons having titles of nobility and loyalties to foreign governments and bankers from voting, holding public office, or using their skills to subvert the government.

WHAT IF? (Implications if Restored)
If the missing 13th Amendment were restored, “special interests” and “immunities” might be rendered unconstitutional. The prohibition against “honors” (privileges) would compel the entire government to operate under the same laws as the citizens of this nation. Without their current personal immunities (honors), US judges and I.R.S. agents would be unable to abuse common citizens without fear of legal liability. If this 13th Amendment were restored, the entire US government would have to conduct itself according to the same standards of decency, respect, law, and liability as the rest of the nation. If this Amendment and the term “honor” were applied today, US government’s ability to systematically coerce and abuse the public would be all but eliminated.
Imagine! A government without special privileges or immunities. How could we describe it? It would be … almost like … a government … of the people … by the people … for the people!
Imagine: a government … whose members were truly accountable to the public; a government that could not systematically exploit its own people! It’s unheard of … it’s never been done before. Not ever in the entire history of the world.
Bear in mind that Senator George Mitchell of Maine and the US National Archives concede this 13th Amendment was proposed by Congress in 1810. However, they explain that there were seventeen states when Congress proposed the “title of nobility” Amendment; that ratification required the support of thirteen states, but since only twelve states supported the Amendment, it was not ratified. The Government Printing Office agrees; it currently prints copies of the Constitution of the United States which include the “title of nobility” Amendment as proposed, but un-ratified.
Even if this 13th Amendment were never ratified, even if Dodge and Dunn’s research or reasoning is flawed or incomplete, it would still be an extraordinary story. Can you imagine, can you understand how close the US came to having a political paradise, right here on Earth? Do you realize what an extraordinary gift our forebears tried to bequeath us? And how close we came? One vote. One state’s vote.
The federal government concedes that twelve states voted to ratify this Amendment between 1810 and 1812. But they argue that ratification require thirteen states, so the Amendment lays stillborn in history, unratified for lack of a just one more state’s support. One vote.
David Dodge, however, says one more state did ratify, and he claims he has the evidence to prove it.

There is also no doubt in my mind Glenn is fully informed about the details of Obama’s eligibility to be president because he is not a natural born citizen. I also believe Mr. Beck is well informed regarding the many, many social security numbers Obama uses including the one he is now using that is nearly 100 years old.
The two items above are enough to have Obama removed from office–still he remains in office because the media has been shut-up about this subject, judges have been bribed or threatened, and politicians have sold out their country to hold on to their careers. If we could just have one major TV program disclose all the facts about Obama’s sealed records and one untouchable judge to demand Obama produce his sealed records, we could remove Obama from office, take back America and begin to restore America and diminish the economic crisis.
How can those people of great influence silently watch the open and flagrant destruction of the greatest country in the world and do nothing. It makes me wonder–just who and how far reaching is the invisible power is that can silence the Fox news journalists, Sarah Palin, and Rush Limbaugh. It has silenced all of them to the point they won’t even say the words “Obama’s birth certificate’.
The best they can do is an occasional vanilla statement that almost hints at it but could later be claimed as misinterpreted if any one calls them on it.
Not until Obama and all those complicit in his fraud are removed from office, arrested and tried for their crimes will America and the rest of the world begin to heal. The sooner it is done the better. If they stay in power just a little longer, the damage done to America and the rest of the world will be irreparable!

While in Karachi, Obama had stayed at the residence of his college friend, Hassan Chandio. In Jacobabad, he was the guest of Soomro family. Muhammadmian Soomro confirmed this information and said it was his first meeting with Obama.
“Yes, he had been our guest and spent three days in Jacobabad,” he told The News. Soomro, presently in the US, his second home, said an American friend had told his father, Ahmadmian Soomro, about Obama’s arrival in Pakistan and asked him to look after the American. Soomro’s father was the deputy speaker of West Pakistan Assembly and had also later served in the Senate.
Ahmadmian Soomro had also served in banking industry and was considered a pioneer in cooperative banking. By the time Soomro’s father had hosted Obama, he was only a college student who went to Pakistan on his way from Indonesia where his mother was working with the Ford Foundation’s micro credit finance project. Also Obama’s mother was a frequent traveller to Pakistan and according to Time Magazine, she had a little bit proficiency in speaking Urdu.
When Soomro was asked about the person who referred Obama to his father, he said he nowadays lived in some country in South America. He was, however, reluctant to disclose his identity, saying he will have to seek permission from that man before giving his profile.
Although, Obama has not disclosed his link with Soomro, he mentioned it during his canvassing campaign while talking to a Pakistani American, Shahid Ahmad Khan, member of Board of Trustees Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

We know that Jacqlyn is passionate about her convictions, so this is NOT to try to change her mind at all. But we DO have an obligation to share with other readers here what our convictions are about RAP. It is gratifying to hear from others who can see many fallacies of this organization(s), because I felt like a lone wolf for several months and got my ears boxed the few times questions were asked.
